Thanksgiving isn't just about food.
It's a day for us to show up for one another.
It's okay not to be okay sometimes
and be able to build strength and love within each other.
I'm Eliyakani, host of the podcast Family Therapy,

I've always wanted us to have therapy,
so this is such a beautiful opportunity.

Atlanta is a spirit.
It's not just a city.
It's where Kronk was born in a club in the West End.
Before World Star, it was 5.59.
Where preachers go viral.
And students at the HBCU turned heartbreak into resurrection.
Where Dream was brought Hollywood to the south.
And hustlers bring their visions to create black wealth.
Nobody's rushing into relationships with you.
I'm Big Rube. Listen to Atlanta is on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

Now, last year, I had to introduce you some talent that I knew straight out, straight off the campus, straight out the huddle, ex-quarterback, all of that, man.
And he's been looking at, now, I'm sitting here looking at the numbers.
He's just the numbers since last year.
When we met him.
Yeah.
He been going up.
He been going crazy, man, none other.
And that boy, Champagne.
Yes, sir.
Yes, sir.
I'm doing good, man.
I'm doing good.
I'm doing good.
Happy to be back here with y'all, man.
First of all, the Big Jet, the King of the North, the Day and Dragon.
First of all, congratulations on everything, bro.
The numbers jumping off the page, man.
You've been doing your thing.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for, like, you know what I'm saying?
Every time I're running to y'all, I see myself.
I use that as my level up.
You know what I'm saying?
Running to y'all.
Having some new stuff to talk about.
Yeah, having some new to talk about having new experience.
It's been traveling.
I just did, I've been doing shows.
Yeah.
But now doing shows.
I just, uh, I was out there for the Roots picnic.
I performed for Planet Bloom.
That's what's up.
And then I just did my first show in L.A.
Yeah.
How was that?
It was amazing.
It was amazing at the peppermint club.
I'm blessed.
I ain't going to lie.
That was my first time ever performing here.
I've been here a few times because I just came.
But to actually perform here.
It's a different feel.
And there was people who came outside to see me rap.
That shit's hard, man.
Like, I ain't never going to be too cool for that.
Hey.
Hey, that's what's up, man.
It's just dope seeing you have some success in the music business, bro.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, last time we was talking about some football career and all of that.
Yeah, it's been a crazy transition.
Man, and now it's just like, bro, you got a whole different swag from last year.
And Lowe's brought you up.
We was just talking about people we interviewed last year.
Like, you know, some people that we didn't know.
brother the reason why we always say the edge quarterback and it just come in champagne yeah
yes i appreciate it i used that like i was saying as a bookmark last year i bookmarked my time
with y'all and really just uh i put i pushed it i took everything to another level we just
took everything to another level no matter what it was that we were doing and it became a lot more
intentional about the things that i was doing bro it seemed like so much has happened since then man
catch us up so um since then i feel like everybody is relocated to Atlanta yeah everybody's in
Atlanta, we've been moving around.
It's a hot spot for the music.
Yeah, it's a hot spot for sure.
And just being someone who, like, again, when we were playing ball, we were traveling
party and going to Miami doing our thing already.
So, like, now to be able to just hone this in, to have a song to be able to make better
music.
Yeah.
Making better music has been a real thing in Atlanta, I can definitely say.
In a different field, different scenery.
And different people.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Being around, I knew I was also leveling up when the people I admire started wanting to work
with me.
And then I could see the graduation of the music and how far I actually took it.
So it's going well.
Yeah, man.
That's what's up, bro.
2025 BETT Awards, man.
Anything you're looking forward to seeing this weekend?
I was looking forward to seeing y'all.
I'm looking forward to see Kevin Hart and I'm host this year, for sure.
I'm definitely looking forward to that.
And just rubbing shoulders, bumping into some people out here and just keep moving around.
Like I said, last time I'm out here.
I definitely hadn't rapped.
So to be performed out here now and be out here, I'll just.
I'm moving different.
I just want to see what it is.
And it's rare a person, you know, can make back-to-back trips out here.
So this time for you to perform, you see the leveling up.
Yeah, I see.
Definitely.
Definitely can see it.
And I can see it.
And I can see that too.
We, we, I store, store all the research.
Yeah, I see you didn't add it a few more chains to the collection.
Yeah, I'm trying.
I'm just trying to, you know what I'm saying?
I'm trying to, I'm trying to.
Hey, I put the cleats up and we started, you know what I said, pop it outside like this.
Yeah, no, for sure.
It's going well.
So I have a new single, say less that is getting ready to.
a drop.
Say less.
Yeah, it's called Say Less.
It'll be out soon.
I'm going to get it to y'all also.
And I'll be in a DR shooting the video.
Shooting the DR, Dominican Republic.
That's how you doing?
Yeah, we go to the D.R.
You shoot a video and D.R.
We know what going on.
He goes to love a boy, shit.
He's going to take his shirt off and all that on shit.
Y'all already know what I'm all.
You already know what I'm all.
It's J-Way, where Legends Land and Dreams take flight, the greatest party in the sky, man.
And we'll let them know what they can catch up with you and all that.
You can find me on everything.
Champagne, 937.
Everywhere. It's Jetway. Like I said, Just Enjoy the Way.
All right, well, check this out. We came up with our own segment for the 2025 BET Awards, man.

And you just tell us what you got on, man. You pop your shit, man.
