Starting point is 00:01:50 To submit you or your organization for consideration, go to 85Southshow.com, backslash, Black Market. Now, welcome back to the 85 South Show, Black Excellent Spotlight. That's great. We travel all over the world looking for excellent black people who do excellent things. And we have this platform and we want the black people who watch us to know that there's other black people out here doing shit. That you might not even know nothing about it. So look, check this.
Starting point is 00:02:22 I got my iPad. I am in, I am in an interview mode today. Because y'all just, y'all happen to be, you know, in one of my, you know, in one of my lane. I wear a lot of hats, but I never thought to make my own. Brun, we got two of the coldest out here, man. I don't know if you're familiar with the brand. It's called Brimms. You see right here, these ain't old player hats.
Starting point is 00:02:45 These are for young players. Nope. Young old school players and old young school players. Did that make sense? Bridging a guy. Bridging a guy. Look, man, I'm sitting here with my guys today. I got Archie Clay.
Starting point is 00:02:56 and my man Todd's Crush, they are the owners of this brand. They, they have been featured all over the internet shade room and your favorite singers, them threw them on. People like Carrie Hilsen. That girl Karen Civil is a fan. Hey, man, that's a dope-ass chick. How did we get here? Tell me how this started.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Where y'all are from? Give me the background. Shut up your hood out. We're going to do it. Mama, we're going to see you. We're here. We're here, Mama. Well, I'm originally from Chalnew, Tennessee.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Shout out to the chat. That boy right now. from Tennessee, man. We all day, everything. Yeah. But I'm raised in East Alabama. So I went to storm out high school. East Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:03:34 East Atlanta, all day. He's on six. Okay, bet. Went Tuskee University. And then from there, man, I think we just kind of got to this point where we wanted to create our own lane and on legacy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Riches from Queens, New York, by the way of Enterprise Alabama. Hold on, introduce yourself because they ain't going.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Oh, I got it. Okay, my name is Todd Crutch. There you go. Queens, New York, by the way of Enterprise, Alabama. I went to Enterprise High School. Then I went to Troy University. University got my bachelor's in IT and I'm from right there man I always love fashion it's been my hobby it's been my thing so when he hit me with the idea we're gonna die
Starting point is 00:04:05 deep into that but when he hit me with the ideas it made sense okay all right since we're just black men talking black man shit what were you doing the day your partner hit you I was playing a video game just got off work just got out the crib just playing a video game I think I was on that 2k on that 2k that's heavy and he called me awesome and what's up bro I got idea. You know you get some friends that just hit you with them crazy. I'm that friend. You're their friend. This is no, hey, that's how shit happens, right?
Starting point is 00:04:30 Sometimes shit works. Exactly. Obviously, we hit now, but it's true, man. He hit me was like, hey, bro, we need to start our own Fordora luxury hat company. And I was like, for real. Like, I wasn't even trying to hear it, but I used to work at a company named Stepping Style in Troy.
Starting point is 00:04:44 And they sold like Stacey Adam Fodas. And I used to try to wear them and like spice them up. Throw your own fellow. Throw my own little fella. Throw a little strong. stripes around it, but I always put it down. I always like, I'm gonna sell it, but I was like, nah, I was being lazy with it.
Starting point is 00:04:58 But then when he hit me, I was like, maybe it's a sign, you know what I'm saying? But I didn't believe in my first. I was like, all right, bro, I hit you up. Alright, let me ask you this. I can cut you all. No, you good. Out of all the partners you got, why you want to get,
Starting point is 00:05:10 why you pick you? Because he's swaggy, bro. I mean, I think you swaggy. See, you got your soul's game, right? Because it takes a lot. You take a lot. Little Risen Dousin, you know what we are. You gotta give respect.
Starting point is 00:05:19 You gotta give respect. You gotta get respect to what you do. I appreciate that. You gotta get respect. My dog, Chico, this is the cleanest nigga ever seen. This nigga traveled with nine outfits. See, that's me. That's him.
Starting point is 00:05:28 That's him. And you got to take pictures up and too. Oh yeah. All day, everything. But no, I mean, I think you, at that point in time, man, it was 2016 when I was thinking of the idea. And I was glad me, we need someone that has the fashion sense, but has the creative thought process as well. Hold on one second. Y'all hear that?
Starting point is 00:05:45 Oh, you high, bro. No, that's the point. I don't hear nothing. Jay-O-Winn, where is the pimping? I am. You thought I was half. You can't just be dropping all this game and not even on no pimping? Nah, John.
Starting point is 00:05:59 My dog, he had. He got the heat. Jay-O-Win got that heat. I've been waiting for it. He got like one job. That's somebody. So you, your dog even say you're swagging. So tell me how it, give me the rest of us.
Starting point is 00:06:13 But now, man, I think at that point in time, man, I was going through a lot on my own social, of my own mental, right? And I was really trying to feel. like what can we do to change the game like hats have been around since the 1800s but they've been white focused yeah before then but all the hat companies that are still around growing brother stets and bellies they're all white driven right so no one has made it no one's made it cool yeah of course you have black people made hats cool but they didn't own exactly they ain't on they ain't on it bro when a nigga put a hat on back he'd be smooth what what smooth criminal
Starting point is 00:06:43 He's a little criminal? Run DMC, we made it cool, but no one was controlling the culture around it. So we out. We all got to get a custom piece to Red Run. We wanted, we need it. If you're watching, I'm going to the camera. Am I tripping? Like, I feel like Red Run hats are always bigger than everybody else.
Starting point is 00:07:03 Are you talking about the wild? It's wide. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Are you tripping? We ain't tripping. It's about two more inches wider than the others, but it's okay. That is slightly bigger than all of that. He got like walked aside, but it's all good. We're gonna get him a wear brim and we're gonna get him custom.
Starting point is 00:07:18 I don't think he'll wear a brim. You don't think so? I think he prefers. The wide. Yeah. The who? The wild. The wild dress.
Starting point is 00:07:26 The Beyonce's, you know what I'm saying? You never paid attention to rim run hats. I think him and Big Daddy King got the biggest hats. No, Anthony Hamilton. He got the big. I don't think his hat big. I don't think he's hat big. I think he just has a small head and small ears.
Starting point is 00:07:41 Okay, okay, okay, that makes sense. Did you see Steve Harvey's hat at the first? That was a big one. That was a big one. Came out the address, just like the hamburger. You saw that? Dripping. Bro, this hat right here cold as fuck.
Starting point is 00:07:55 What's that color combination? Man, this is the Royal Fox right here. That shit, aka the crowd attention, crowd pleasing. You know what I'm saying? Because I feel like when you walk in the building with this, everybody gonna turn the head or like, what kind of has? Confidence. Yeah, you gotta have that confidence.
Starting point is 00:08:08 And when I made, when we made this hat, like, Everybody was like, bro, that color, I can't, you don't see that in the store. You know what I'm saying? So we wanna create our hats to be them, you know, those top pieces, you know what I'm saying? Like, priceless, man, you can't find it somewhere else. Speaking of which, you think I forgot,
Starting point is 00:08:27 but I only got like one part of seven to the intro to the story about how this got started. We're gonna, he hit you, who in the crib, just got off work. Chilling. I bet. Playing the game, he hit me. I didn't believe on the first day.
Starting point is 00:08:41 The second day, he called me back on some like, bro. Remember the conversation we had last night? I was like, yeah, what's up? He's like, I got the manufacturer. I got what we were in front of I felt. I already did the breakdown where we get everything out. Let's get it going. We just got to come up with a name.
Starting point is 00:08:55 What's up? We got it popping. I was like, yeah, this man serious. Got the first sample within the next month. Yeah. And we're ready to roll. And then I was like, I was like, we got to come up with a name.
Starting point is 00:09:06 I was like, brim, my dad, my grandfather said, always take off your brim in the house, in the house. Take your brim off in the house. house. So Archie was like, yeah, that's it. You know what I'm saying? Right? Short, sweet. Damn, what's wrong with it? Then we add it? Where? Where brums? Made it some? Give them instructions. Are you happy with the first turn out? Yes. That's my favorite one all the time.
Starting point is 00:09:25 It's called the beginning. I mean, because at the end of days, like, the beginning is the foundation of like who you are as a company, as a business at the same time. So the beginning kind of like it gives you that energy of like who we wear and where we're going. So let me ask you this. You open that box. You got your first son. You are. Bussing. Bussing. What were your critiques? Well, we did, so we had one first. The one, every the one with the one with the pink, pink ball. We had to take the bow. I was like, this ain't, this ain't it. I still wore it because I was like, I was just happy that we had our first hat in our hands, but it was like we got to change it. So we fixed it up, sent it right
Starting point is 00:10:00 back. It came back. It's like to sit. We're ready to go. Now, I'm going to jump in again, but we're still not finished. Keeping the mark. Yeah, I got you. You said this is a men's and Unis-sex. Unis-sex. Okay, Ben, do you have anything targeting specifically to the latest? No. We feel like, you know, confidence is a driver for everyone, right? And it's for everybody.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Like, we make hats there aligned to you and me and a lady. Doesn't matter what it is. Just a representation. It's just a dope hat. Exactly. And they don't have to be a man, don't have to be a woman. It's a, it's a brim. Especially with these color schemes, you got to have that confidence.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Yeah. Y'all do custom pieces. Of course. You want one? I want the River Bowl Gambler. River Bowl Gamma? That's what I want. We gotta look that out. Look, I'm telling you.
Starting point is 00:10:46 Look, you hit me with something different. That's actually a style of hat. I know what I'm saying? I sound like it went out. You said River? You're at one of my research department. Pull up the River Bowl gambler hat. We got to make that hard.
Starting point is 00:10:57 We're gonna have you name it. We're gonna have you name it and everything. We're gonna go over again. Okay. Check it out. Watch this. Oh, okay. That's what that was.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Look that on the camera. They don't know I ain't just over here talking. Let me see that? Let me let them let them get a out. Look how that motherfucker sits, bro. Flip up, what's that? You'll be flying that, boy. You'll be fly.
Starting point is 00:11:21 I need you to do a show and that. We got you. That's what the, that's the custom piece of. I got it. I got it. We're going to get your size. Is anybody over here on the team? Yeah, they're in the team.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Team, Riverboat Gammon all next week. Pull up some period pieces from the late 30s, early 40s? All right, better. Thank you. I mean, we're not gonna say, we're not promoting this, but think Heart of Dixon meets stage pose robber. Yeah. Those are just the notes that you'll know about.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Yeah, yeah, I know. Even if it's played, a little frayed. What color? Ooh, that's a good question. I'm thinking either chocolate or like a dusty, sandy brown. Mm-hmm. Chocolate. You gotta break it down, though.
Starting point is 00:12:02 You gotta do the bow band. We can do it all. Um, actually, we're gonna do a couple variations. Okay. I want the band to either be, I want the band to be an accessory where you could do it or you could not do it. Oh, you want to take it off. On and all. I'm thinking if we go chocolate, I want like a, I'm thinking sky blue white.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Mmm. I can see that. Look, you've been thinking about this for a while. You've been thinking about this. You don't touch red. Real subtle though. Okay. A little drop.
Starting point is 00:12:29 Maybe, maybe not so like slutty lipstick red. I'm thinking more like little Corvette red. But subtle. It's an accent. Okay. Okay. We'll talk about that later. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:42 So give me more of this story. No, I think for their man, the first two years of the company was this research. I understand our brand. I understand our customer base. I think at the end of day it's just like you have to understand your brain and who you are right before you just start going crazy. Because we didn't drop that many pieces in the first two years. Unless y'all land on some game right quick. Let me, I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Oh, gas. In 2020, a group of young woman in a tidy suburb of New York City found themselves in an AI fuel. an AI-fueled nightmare. Someone was posting photos. It was just me naked. Well, not me, but me with someone else's body parts on my body parts that looked exactly like my own. I wanted to throw up.
Starting point is 00:13:22 I wanted to scream. It happened in Levittown, New York. But reporting this series took us through the darkest corners of the internet and to the front lines of a global battle against deep fake pornography. This should be illegal, but what? is this? This is a story about a technology that's moving faster than the law and about vigilantes trying to stem the tide. I'm Margie Murphy and I'm Olivia Carval. We got a whole hoodie out here. Let's your hoodie, go ahead. Open that up right quick, you know, for the flavor.
Starting point is 00:16:36 So my neighbor, Michigan, though. You hear me? I don't see that. Yeah. That's all you. Oh, man, y'all got some great promo on the back, too. You want to hold the sleeve so we can get that. I got you all.

Starting point is 00:17:15 That's a man, I'll be that drunk-ass uncle that bring up shit, don't nobody want to talk about. You know, the last piece of chicken. What are the mortgages? Do you want the house? That's what want nobody. Say that. Not, for real.
Starting point is 00:17:32 No, welcome, man. I think family is a big part of our company. faith, family, and confidence. That's what I was just about to ask you, man. Who's been some of your biggest supporters? Family. Family. And our friends, they've been our big supporter. They've been pushing us from the beginning.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Even when we told them we're gonna start our own brand, they was like, we're with it. I forgot. Oh, we got one. Yeah, no. We set it up, we got you right. Cool, man. We always throw it up.
Starting point is 00:17:56 So we keep saying. Yeah, man. Faith, Family Confidence. That's our pillars, you know. Our family have been pushing us from the beginning. We had our rollout, they was there. They're there. My friends been there.
Starting point is 00:18:06 We're showing my samples. They're like, man, y'all keep going because without them. Yeah. Bro, have y'all gotten into the black church market yet? Because I'm, you know, that's a big market. I mean, it's a big market. It's a big market. That's where my info came from, my grandparents.
Starting point is 00:18:21 But if we could start like a church lady line, like branch off, just church lady hats. Just church lady hat. Who would you call it? Church lady hats. That's the under the wear brook's church lady hair. Church lady hands. Church lady hands.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Don't collection. I think we got a lot to talk about. We got a lot of business to talk about outside of this. I'm telling you. We got to make your hat. I wear a lot of hats. And we got to get this church later hat on it. Brerner Bo Gambling is my first piece.
Starting point is 00:18:46 That's the first wave. We're virgin on it right now. No, we're not going to do, because I'm upset at Berger's right. Okay. We're not even going to. Touch yourself. Okay, I got you. Yeah, we're not going to even go over it.
Starting point is 00:18:59 We don't wear it. I got a t-shirt with a $50 dollar bill on it that say, oh my birthday. Oh, that's a deep. But it's not like, throw version away. I'm just letting him know, I mean, his fan band. Oh, that's what he did with the, gotcha, okay. It's kind of like when you become a fan of a new artist.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Mix tapes is hard, and then you hit the album, and you're like, I need to worry with you. Now, people be hyping the album because they, like, you've been on them, and then they hype the album. But they hype the album on, that's what gets you going. You be like, oh shit, I know the album, you're going to be stupid. But I, like, how I do it, I let them listen to the album,
Starting point is 00:19:31 and they hype it up, I wait. I wait, man. You gotta look. Don't never listen to an album on the first day. No, I gotta support. I'm gonna listen to that album on the first day. I'm gonna get it, but don't. I'm gonna get it, me.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Don't let it sit for a second. Okay. Don't read nothing. Bro, what's the styles of these hats we have on the table? You have specific names for each piece, right? This one right here is Rosetta Rose. I like this. This is my grandmother.
Starting point is 00:19:54 It's my grandmother. I knew it. That's what I'm saying. Black ladies. I feather on our logo. Our feather on our logo is the Red Robin. That's Archie's grandmother favorite bird. And she passed away.
Starting point is 00:20:08 So we kind of gave her that dedication to her. That one right here, the Live Woods. We might change the name later. We don't let the audience give us the name for that. Go check the comment. I'm going to check the comments. I'll let the audience tell me. Let us know.
Starting point is 00:20:22 And then we had it right here. It's the Papa Square right here. That one right there is based around my grandfather's. Papa Jones and Papa Crick. Yeah. That little settled. You know some grandfather. I should have brought some, I want to see some more shit, though.
Starting point is 00:20:34 Right. Well, Tempty, you went to the HBCU, man, how was that? I mean, I can't get too deep in that, you know? Tuskees is lit. You can't get too deep in it? You know, the life is different. On the other side. But you're in here, it's a secret?
Starting point is 00:20:47 That's the secret. Not that. No, I'm not talking about that. I'm just, I'm just playing around. I'm just playing around. No, you know, it is one of these. You're talking about Tuskegee. But now, man, is the energy.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Like, my brother, my little brother going there in the fall. And my sister's graduating next month. That's their legacy, man. Keep that going. The energy is crazy. Tuscilla, I mean, I think, if it wasn't for Tuscilla, I probably wouldn't be in this position right now. I learned entrepreneurship through my Lime Brothers.
Starting point is 00:21:15 Because both of my Lime Brothers, they're parents owned Portrait 500 companies. So that energy, I've never seen it like that before. Coming from the East Side, like, that's unheard of. So check this out. Y'all going on five years in the business, right? On the body with me next year. Okay, so check this out.
Starting point is 00:21:28 What would you say to budding entrepreneurs who may see and be inspired. You know, they might have a shirt line or whatever their business is. Do your research. Do your research. I'm just go out there throwing out everything.
Starting point is 00:21:40 Make sure you know exactly what you want to put out. Don't take no phone of dancing. Keep them the doors. Like, a lot of people might shut them but keep them doors to end because at the end of the day, you all you got. Like, me and Archie,
Starting point is 00:21:51 we didn't have no blueprint starting this. Right. You know what I'm saying? We had to really do our research and dig in deep. So I just tell people, you know, stay, stay focused, they encourage. You know, don't let the head to tell you nothing.
Starting point is 00:22:03 If you have an idea like Archie did when you came to me and it's different, and you never heard it, you tell you one of your friends. And you're like, I don't know if you might want to do it. Hey, man, let me ask you this since you got the sauce. Give me a few variations how you can really, like, wet his hat, bro. This is your brand and shit. Right now, I got it on. How would you, give them a few pointers on how that.
Starting point is 00:22:23 How would probably wear a braille. Straight, straight, straight, you know what I mean? You get it real simple. You come in there. I wear mine's like this, because I feel, I feel, I feel, I feel. I feel like I got the word on my shoulders, like I feel like I'm just the boss. Okay, but then you could flop it in the back, you got a press cut, you know what I'm saying? That's that church boy.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Okay. Okay. You know, some kids are caught you to the side of the old school. They's dudes. It's a little swaggy. Some swaggy, but most of I keep it to the front. Okay. All right, bet.

So the challenge is to anybody who hits the site, Thys a Brim, tag 85 South and let us know how you wear your shit. How you like that as a channel? I like that challenge.

Starting point is 00:24:58 Like you can't shop no other room other than that's going forward. I mean, after today, it's a little fact. Now, this is my, this is another question I have. In 2020, a group of young woman in a tidy suburb of New York City found themselves in an AI-fueled nightmare. Someone was posting photos. It was just me naked. Well, not me, but me with someone else's body parts on my body parts
Starting point is 00:25:24 that looked exactly like my own. I wanted to throw up. I wanted to scream. It happened in Levittown, New York. But reporting this series took us through the darkest corners of the internet and to the front lines of a global battle against deepfake pornography. This should be illegal, but what is this? This is a story about a technology that's moving faster than the law
Starting point is 00:25:47 and about vigilantes trying to stem the tide. I'm Margie Murphy. And I'm Olivia Carvel. This is Levitown, a new podcast from IHeart Podcasts, Bloomberg and kaleidoscope. Starting point is 00:28:09 Custer. I want to sit in there like this. On the side? Uh-uh. Maybe I'll come up with a hat. Maybe I'll come up with a cool ass alias or something. Riverboat gambler. That's what my hat box say.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Riverboat gambit. Yeah, I like that. R.B. gambler or some you know some sublimber yeah some sublimber some gangsters i'm always i hate giving out the sauce you get what i'm saying what just tell me what they need to hit you at for this for where brim and this is on some professional shit info look info at wherebrones dot com a team will make sure they get right info at wherebron dot com yeah i'm not saying that your models are not no but i did mine's a little special i did my mom check this out and that's why i was getting
Starting point is 00:28:55 That's cool for the girl. Let's do it. But I'm gonna turn you up. Okay, turn me up, turn you up, right. Your mom's not about to post your hat on TikTok. Oh, now, you're right. You're right. I see you're right.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Diversify. Exactly. There are portals on the internet that we ain't all gonna be able to reach. Yeah, that's true. That's true. When I put you into these ladies that I know, we need, I'm my only thing though.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Okay. You gotta get at least one plus ass on every shit. Of course. Yeah. Like, that's a whole other struggle. That's a no brain. I'm gonna bring them on, well, I'm bringing something that I know on here because, you know, that they're going through a whole other thing.
Starting point is 00:29:33 So I got my support. That's real. That's real. That's real. I love that. I love that. We got a lot of stuff, we got a lot of conversations. I'm in the hat game, really.
Starting point is 00:29:43 You just ain't seen me get saucy all the way with. I'm telling. There's nothing to worry about. I know you got in. I already know. Cool. The world been shut down. I didn't get to bust out.
Starting point is 00:29:54 You ain't gotta go crazy. Yeah, that's been crazy. That's been crazy. You know, snap vaccine, shit like that. Going through that pandemic, it's been crazy. Yeah, but you know, it's making a lot of people really locked down and execute. I think that's what we are right now. I think that the pandemic really-
Starting point is 00:30:10 We need to slow down. Yeah, yeah, we need to slow down. I think from a mindset standpoint, people just need to realize that it's more to your dreams. And you gotta be actionable around the dreams. Right. And I think that's where we are now is like seeing our visions come to life, but also knowing that the light is right there at the end of the tunnel. And it definitely showed everybody like to prioritize
Starting point is 00:30:29 and what's important and where you do the same energy, you know what I'm exactly? Because it's been so long of a time, it's like whatever the fuck you was on in the beginning of this shit, you definitely ain't on that no more. Oh no, no, no, no, no I'm saying. Yeah, we had a pivot.
Starting point is 00:30:42 I mean, factory got shut down, so we had a pivot. The first five months. How did y'all handled it? Man, I think for me, man, we, it was mentally emotional for a second. Yeah. But I think we talked like quickly, We got to make something.
Starting point is 00:30:54 So we started doing a statement called Where Brum's Spotlight, where we just kind of have conversations with local entrepreneurs and things in the industry to really help them or help people that are listening to really say, yo, like, we can do it too. And we can be motivated and be inspired to do more than just being the career. This shit is inspiring me. Can I pitch another idea? Yes, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:31:15 I didn't go ahead. No, no, you might need to talk me. What if it's a line, right? Get me out. It's going to say how fucked up. Old white dudes. All white dudes. Keep it going.
Starting point is 00:31:27 Yeah. We need... You see how cool and dope these look? Mm-hmm. They don't want that. What they want? What they want? They don't want.
Starting point is 00:31:36 They don't want no flavor. Nah. They're buying. Listen. I'm saying. There's a few. It's a little sauce. A little taste.
Starting point is 00:31:44 I like black. Not them. I'm talking about. Give me that hat, boy. Oh, you're talking about. Okay. What you're doing on my yard? Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:53 Kentucky Derby, Colonel Sanders. Got you. Okay. Yeah. You know that little hat that the white, the shady white man who tried to buy the land from your grandfather with? Fuck it.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Coming out of the house. Yeah. Okay. And I don't know the specific style or name but it's like short and little small. That's close to the cowboy, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But we'll get into that.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Yeah, we'll. Anything else that we ain't touched? Man, I think it, we want to make sure that you know people know that the brand is of course we start product that's what it is yeah wherebrems.com yes that's it but me at the end of the day it's like our brand is about fedores and brems but we want to make sure we're aspiring and motivating people as much as possible through our store and through who we are as a company and as of course african-americans let me ask you this because this seems to be the way that business is going now have y'all
Starting point is 00:32:45 reached out to any social media influences we in the beginning we definitely was reaching out Yeah, I think a lot of people wasn't reaching back. Yeah, I think it's more authentic now. Like, we like to have, like, for us having this conversation, now we can, we know you're interesting, you're part of the brand, part of the family. I'm gonna buy my shit too, just know that. We appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:33:03 That's all, I'm always the type of motherfucker who it's like. Got that family member, the other enemy. No, it's not, it's not even that. It's just like, like you said, when people give you shit, they want you to, I guess they had, like, they expect you to have more. You know, it's never enough appreciation. That's you.
Starting point is 00:33:19 If I can buy some shit and show you, like, this is mine, I feel like that. Yeah, I appreciate it. I feel like that goes. The energy is a little different. It is. Because it's yours. You got a freedom of choice.
Starting point is 00:33:28 And I feel like when they buy it, they really want it. Exactly. That's why it's like good for us to have conversations. And we have, when we're talking to influencers or celebrities, like, I want to actually talk to you. Yeah. To make sure that this is something that you want. See, that's the thing about the black community, bro. We're 100 years behind on conversation because this shit used to be illegal for three black men.
Starting point is 00:33:46 That's true. That's true. That's true. They had laws against that shit. I hate that's all the conversations that never happened. never have that's true that is true that's probably been building like this a hundred years yeah your grandfather could have left y'all this guy and we wouldn't have been straight straight straight straight straight straight straight straight straight straight straight straight straighted us from
Starting point is 00:34:01 inherited is that because that a lot I want y'all brothers to be successful so I'm you drop the site man look at I drive the side right here all off of all four wherever wherebrams.com make sure y'all go out and support like make sure you guys Northstrom.
