Starting point is 00:02:33 or wherever you go to find your podcast. I missed one. Oh, I missed that song. That song. Why in Luch? That was about. Why in F and Luch? I think that song came out the year I moved to Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:03:24 The remits were hard too. Who was on the remix? Damn. Rest in peace, school and takeoff. They were both on. Oh, yeah. They went back and forth, and I wanted them to do a whole album like that
Starting point is 00:03:41 because that was so cold to me. Hits, hits they sneak like grids. Come on, man. Y'all ready? All right, look. The black market is here, man. The black market, the blackest of markets, there is. It's open.
Starting point is 00:04:03 When I ring their bill, they know it's black money in the building. Period. I like your little bill. That's nice. Yeah. Yeah, we ain't asking for shit, though. We're just alerting people. We're alerting people letting them know that there's money in the building,
Starting point is 00:04:16 there's money on the flow. Period. And it's the black market once again. Oh, yeah. highlight and we showcase black and minority-owned independent businesses all around the world. And today, we have none other than... What?
Starting point is 00:04:33 Drea Nicole is it? Oh, yeah. Because, you know, she bought her business. Businesswoman. And that's the fair. Businesswoman, and she got a new one that she's about to put us up on. Welcome to the black market.
Starting point is 00:04:47 You've been to the trap. Thank you. I haven't. This is my first time. It's more elegant in the daytime. At night it's a trap. I feel it. I feel it.
Starting point is 00:04:56 I can see that. This does seem a little bit more professional. Exactly. That's how we get down. What's you got for us today? So I have my new lip gloss line. It's called Muse Beauty. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:11 I've been having it running for about four months now. The website. Are you just now getting here? You're supposed to launch this on the black market. I know. I lunch it on Breakfast Club. Okay. That is not the black market, but okay.
Starting point is 00:05:23 I mean, no, I launched it on a big day. Well, how's it there? You're trying to say the black market? No, there's not what I'm saying. Honestly, when I launched it, y'all wasn't recording this season of Black Market yet. You're right. You absolutely. So you got to give me a little credit.
Starting point is 00:05:43 You didn't wait until the season sparked up. She couldn't wait. But the people needed to know. The people needed the product. People need lip gloves. Yeah, immediately. Immediately. So what inspired this?
Starting point is 00:05:54 Serious business. So I just always have really been into makeup and cosmetics, and I always wanted to have my own cosmetics line. And I feel like I procrastinated a while on doing it, and then I finally was just like, fuck it, I'm going ahead and launch it. And, yeah, I wanted to name it. I feel like I told you on one of the 85 episodes, why I named it, what I named it.
Starting point is 00:06:18 What? You want to inspire people. Or maybe it was now. It might have been, because you know, you get to say in a lot of wild shit when you want to eat about it stuff. So I wanted to name my,
Starting point is 00:06:28 I wanted to name my business something after my dad, because my dad passed away in 2020. So when I was, thank you. So when I was coming up with the name, I wanted to name it something that had like the letters from his name in it, and so that's how I came up with Muse. They got what?
Starting point is 00:06:45 And then I also like the meaning behind the word muse as well. So. You got some shades over here, would you? Would you like to see the shades? I would like to see the shade. I have a plethora of shades, you know, for different skin tones. So this is like a peachy nude. This is actually what I have on right now.
Starting point is 00:07:01 Echie nude. Okay, I see what this is going. And the color. Sounds like a picture you get. That's a peachy nude. Yeah, that's a peachy nude right through. That is a peachy nude. Maybe you need some artwork.
Starting point is 00:07:15 Hey, man. We're keeping it on brand. So yes, so this is actually what I have on right now. it's called peachy and it's like a really beautiful color for like darker skin tones. I also wanted to make that a theme of my brand too. Like I wanted to come out with different colors for different skin tones. Because I think a lot of the time, black women kind of shy away from color. Like we like to stay real neutral.
Starting point is 00:07:37 And so right now I do have like a lot of nudes, but I actually have some new products coming out in a few weeks. And I'm gonna, you know, come out with a lot of different colors. That's dope. Because I want women to not be afraid to try different colors on their skin tone because I think chestnut cold brew so these are lip liners it's given yes that's like a shimmery clear gloss let me just take everything you got stage and glaze it's clear because you can't never go wrong with a clear gloss and a brown lip liner and I actually have on a cold brew lip liner right now too I'm looking like this shit like I don't put it to tell the ladies out there if
Starting point is 00:08:13 they want the drill lip gloss lips okay so like I said I have I'm on Peachy right now with the cold brew liner. I don't know, let's see. Do you have any tips that you can give these ladies on how to apply this or? Yeah, of course. Make it last long? Or get the best out of the product?
Starting point is 00:08:33 Yeah, so luckily my product is already really long lasting. So it lasts for a long time. You don't have to keep reapplying it. And I know that's what all the girls love. Because when you out and you're having a good time, you're not trying to have to keep going to the restroom putting on more lip gloss. So it's a long lasting product.
Starting point is 00:08:48 than products, but when I put it on, a good tip that I have is I like to overline my lips a little bit, even though they are already really full. So if you have even smaller lips than me, it's good to overline your lips when you're putting on your lip liner. And then I just like to put the gloss on, but I love to add the glazed gloss on top,
Starting point is 00:09:07 because I really like for my lips to be real glossy. And so I feel like you gotta always add that clear gloss on top. You cannot hit the blood. That's what I was just about to ask. I said, from the dude, ass bed. I feel like I'd be making the blunt wig, so I don't... With the gloss? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Yeah, I mean... So... I mean, that's not... Okay. That's what... That's gonna be the collab. Right. 85 Muse collab.
Starting point is 00:09:32 It's the gloss that don't get on the blunt, but it still look wet. That's a good idea. I don't walk off, bro. That's about the third genius shit you just said in a sitting. Come on, man. I'm sick of it. That's a good idea, actually. And for the girls who don't like...
Starting point is 00:09:48 for they gloss or they lip, you know, lipstick, whatever, to get on the blend, I have some matte liquid lipstick that's coming out soon, that's non-transferable. Mm. Do you have anything for the white people within lips? Yes, absolutely. Like I said, I feel like, you know, you can use my liners and you can overline your lips. It will give you the full lip effect without, you know, having to go get the fillers and, you know, all the stuff that the girls are doing me included. So now that you got your own lip gloss line, you probably save giving a ton of money just by.
Starting point is 00:10:20 By using my own shit, absolutely. What did you use to use? I used to use Buxham alive, because I love lip plumping glosses, and so that's actually something that I'm looking into right now. I'm trying to formulate my own lip plumpinclumpin. Formulate, do your shit? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Do your shit. You really be in a, you got a lab coat with the... I don't, but that's something I'm trying to get into right now. You just kind of tell them what you want. Yeah. And they're in the lab, and then they send you the shit and you tell them it's wrong or right. Right. That's dope.
Starting point is 00:10:49 And so, I mean, it's definitely been trial and error. Like, I had to try a few different formulas before I found the one that I liked. So you brought a few photographs. Who are some of your models that you've been using over here? You know, it's me and my girl Kiki from cocktails. Okay. You know, I feel like when you start your business,
Starting point is 00:11:06 you can never go wrong with having your friends be your model. That's your network. Mm-hmm. That's your network. Where is this available at? It's online. It's at www. www.muse beauty collection.com.
Starting point is 00:11:19 It's available right now, and I actually am about to do a Christmas sale. Okay. Is that what you announced? How much off? How much off? It's going to be 25% off of the whole site from Christmas until New Year's.
Starting point is 00:11:34 And I'm doing a giveaway right now, too. What? Yeah. Well, like, what's the terms and conditions? For the giveaway, I'm giving away a $250 Visa gift card as long as you make a $50 or more purchase before Christmas. And I'm also giving away to two people the whole collection
Starting point is 00:11:54 because, like I said, I'm coming out with some new products. And so it's going to be like a $225 value for the whole collection. So basically, you go spend some money, you might win something. Spend some money. You might get some money. Got to spend it to make it. We're going to support you. All the ladies I know, I'm going to make sure that they got some.
Starting point is 00:12:12 At least go look. Yeah. You need to tell them to go buy. I'm telling all the ladies that I know. All the latest, get some Adrella lip gloss. The muse. And you got, you got, so you just focus on lips now? Well, for now.
Starting point is 00:12:27 I want you to get to the whole face. Yes. I want eyelashes, foundation, the little pimple shit to cover up, everything. So for now, yes, for now, all I have is lip gloss, because that was like my main focus. Because honestly, like, on poor minds and on my Instagram, that's something that people always ask me about about They'll be like, what kind of lip gloss do you have on? So I feel like that should be the first thing that I come out with. But like I said, I'm really into makeup in general.
Starting point is 00:12:52 So I want to come out with foundations, concealers. I want to come out with highlighters. And eventually I want to actually have like a skincare line to. Yeah, that is very important. You can't have good makeup if you don't have good makeup. Yeah, because some people have good makeup, but your face stink. Stink? Yeah, because you ain't moisturizing.
Starting point is 00:13:13 Yeah. Exfoliated. It'd be a little dry, you know. It'd be a lot dry. It'd be a lot dry. Especially with this winter weather. Yeah. Oh, that winter, man, right?
Starting point is 00:13:22 Mm-hmm. You gotta stay more straws. You're gonna be looking chats. What can they reach out to you? Because I know some people gonna wanna collab and, you know, get some, some, um, what's that shit? What's that shit? Influencer type of shit? You got some influences?
Starting point is 00:13:35 I'm actually looking for influencers right now. Are you some big-ass lips? Yes. Some big, and find some regular ladies too. Don't keep getting the stuff. Same ladies. Finds the women who got to go to work. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Yeah. Find somebody with no lips. No lips. And still. I'm looking for, I want diversity with my brain. You gotta find that girl that can apply to be a influencer. With the shit around her lips. That girl who'd be on Twitter, she'd be talking about how men supposed to take care of her and shit.
Starting point is 00:14:00 You ain't seen it? I sent it to you. Okay. It's this girl. She'd be going viral. Yeah, stand to me. I want anybody to be going viral. She'd be looking crazy, though.
Starting point is 00:14:10 But yes, you could follow me. You know what I'm talking about. Oh, you know who you talk about? You know her Instagram? No, I see that. A video going crazy. She'd be like, a man, posted by me, everything. Basically, and niggas was like, what?
Starting point is 00:14:25 You? Is she cute? Oh. That's subjective. I don't call nobody unattractive. Because I've seen... I think that's really nice to me. What God can do.
Starting point is 00:14:36 I see what God can do. It's this dude. He went viral. I know, Clay. He don't have no legs. Uh-huh. No bottom half, just arms, like a torso. He was on the beach playing with his daughter.
Starting point is 00:14:51 He had a little to y'all. That means somebody fucked him recently. What if he had his legs, though, then? He didn't. He was born without none. Oh, he was born without legs. Wow. But clearly you don't need legs to have a dick.
Starting point is 00:15:06 You don't need legs to fuck? Yeah, this is. I didn't know, like, if you're going to be born with not this. He could just lay there. How are you gonna have this? So it's more like, you would think he don't have this. Hey, man. But he has this.
Starting point is 00:15:18 I don't think he fucking. I think he's getting fucked. It don't matter. He got, he's on his hands like, like just swinging in there. What legs? He's on his hands. What legs? He's on his hands.
Starting point is 00:15:31 See, I don't. I wouldn't like that. I would rather, if I was going to, hypothetically, if I was going to fuck somebody that didn't have legs. Didn't have legs. I would prefer to be on top because then we could just. had a cover. There is no top to be on. Covering.
Starting point is 00:15:46 There is no top. The bottom half and then I would just imagine that... There ain't no bottom half to cover. This is going to be... That's what I'm saying. There is no... He didn't have like the look, you know? Not to thigh up, you mean...
Starting point is 00:16:01 It was just... That's possible? Clearly. Clearly. Clearly. That's real interesting. Everybody doing their interpretation on what they have to do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:13 If it was me, if it was me, I sit in the chair, you feel me? How are you gonna sit? Shit, the same way he's been sitting. Everything is sitting when you ain't got laid. Yeah, he's seen. Motherfucking said, everything's sitting when you ain't got legs. Except laying down.
Starting point is 00:16:33 He made a great point. Hey, get up. I said, get up. This is it, baby. I'm already a... This is it. I'm just saying that. Don't tell me what God can't do.
Starting point is 00:16:47 No, I feel you. It's somebody for... For everybody, man. Not everybody, but anybody. Everybody ain't going to get something. Yeah, because some people just not going to accept what's for them. I don't like that.
Starting point is 00:17:01 Well... Hey, baby. It don't matter. Somebody do. I don't know. What else you going to do? I mean, somebody like it. You might not like it, but somebody like it.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I'm just saying, people think they're going to They stay fine forever, and that's just not the case for most people. I don't think nobody stay fine forever, though. Aging is inevitable. No, you're going to age, but some motherfuckers, they just don't know they're going to age themselves out of the game. The game are they playing. Some motherfuckers still don't have. But what if you already not in the game.
Starting point is 00:17:30 That's what they don't realize. They just like, oh, I can have anybody I want. Then all these years going to go by and be like, shit, they ain't nobody I want. Mm-hmm. And you're out of practice. You can have anybody who's going to get them. Oh, don't know. You better go get them to make sure that you can still get them.
Starting point is 00:17:46 I feel like if you ain't never really had nobody you really want, you can't say that. I'm just saying. People be trying to come in and stay safe. Once you look back at your history, you're going to be like, woo. I can get some of the people that want me, that like me a little bit already first. I've dealt with people who have similar interests as me. People think I'm okay. Okay, the beauty around.
Starting point is 00:18:13 As you get older that narrative change. Yeah. Yeah, you'd be happy with that. Reality set in. Hell yeah. But that music get, see? But that muse is gonna get you through. It's timeless.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Right. Fuck around and put that shit on and people start thinking you got nice lips. And then you won't get the nigg. You really won't. Hey, that's a hell of a promo right there. Tell them where to get it one more time. www.muse beauty collection.com. That's M-U-S-E.
Starting point is 00:18:44 You can also follow us on Instagram at Mew's Beauty, but that's Beauty with Two Eyes. And then you can also follow me on Instagram at Dreya Nicole with 3-E's.
