but I didn't fully grasp
for the rest of my life what that meant.
For My Heart Podcasts and Rococo Punch,
this is The Turning, River Road.
In the woods of Minnesota,
a cult leader married himself to 10 girls,
and force them into a secret life of abuse.
But in 2014, the youngest escaped.

Man, this shit crazy.
Oh, boy.
Never eating that again.
What's up with it?
Nigger.
I'm big chilling just in her smoking, bro.
They got this new...
Fucking comic book, man.
Black superhero, man.
This nigga called a homeless homeboy.
The homeless homeboy?
It's shit crazy, bro.
A lot of homeless homeboy.
Well, they stick with women, but...
He's fighting this nigga look like a little dirt.
Oh, is that a dude?
Oh, no, I think it is, though.
But that nigga got dread like a little dirt.
Homeless homeboy.
This is a nigga be in the hood having epic battles, man.
Word?
Let me see.
No, bro.
Let me see the other one.
Not the one you read.
This is my new shit
Let me see
Oh man
Yeah he got a couple of people on here
Bray be on YouTube and everything
Man
Hey man
You got the
You don't see a lot of black
Superhero
And everybody got a homeless
The dude on the front
Is he black?
Yeah
Word
He had to make it look light skin
So he could be accepted by the other
Oh okay
I got you
Look at the diabolical
Knicks he's fighting bro
Yeah
This nigga is fighting a drug
A Puerto Rican drug dealer dude.
He got Celo down here, he reckons.
I don't know, Cilo got like...
That's a white dude.
No, that's in the corner in the back.
Then he got another nigga on that look like Young Dolph, too.
You see that?
Yeah.
I was talking about my man over in the corner right there, though.
This is crazy, brother.
A homeless homeboy.
Yeah.
They had $100,000 on his head, bro.
The Puerto Rican dude trying to take him out of the game.
Chico, man, what the fuck is that?
What?
Oh, shit.
He in this guy.
bitch, bro, this thing in show, I told you, this thing can be everywhere, bro.
This nigga dressed like handy mask.
I thought that nigga was the Mexican wrestler, man.
This nigga, I shout with Kurtz, Kate.
You can't tell me this nigga ain't cold, bro.
That nigga that took his mask off.
It shows your identity and everything.
The Puerto Rican blood, man.
He wasn't supposed to do that.
Nick, why all this goddamn smoke cup, bro?
He bought it with him.
He bought the smoke because he wasn't the smoke.
This nigga took his mask off and put it in his bag.
He's a real hero.
Nigger wear Air Force Warren's, nigga.
Laced all the way to the top.
He looked like he's about to cut grass.
This case, he might have to jump off a building or something.
That's crazy, man.
Let me start up.
You know what I'm saying?
Man, how can I touch your cape, huh?
Man, don't touch that man, Kate, ma'am.
I got to touch the...
Oh, dude.
Is it left?
No, it's rainproof, though.
Hey, this don't get wet or nothing.
Hell, no.
That dink of rain, and everything?
Oh, man, man.
Hey, man, welcome to the trap, bro.
Man, we had to have you, man.
We didn't even know, we were just, you know,
join the homeless home boy, as you can see here.
You know what I mean?
And you didn't mess around and showed up in the,
well, it's the trap, but this is the black market, though.
So, you know what I mean?
This is where we highlight black excellence.
in the black market.
And this right here is,
you're a black superhero, bro.
What's up, man.
Yeah, I'm from Columbus, Georgia, man.
You know what I'm saying?
Just like everybody else wanted to be a rapper, man.
I grew up wanting to be a rapper.
But as I got older, man,
I wanted to do something more beneficial.
I always wanted to do some towards the homeless.
So it kind of came in my mind, like,
make a comic book.
My first comic book, though, was like,
it was called No Heroes in the South.
It's basically by the dude,
he smoked weed, get superpowers, you know what I'm saying?
So y'all going to like that.
Right now.
Got now.
So, um...
This nigga that made a whole comic book about you, Loz.
Nigger, I'm flattered.
I brought a poster, too, man, so...
You see we're getting our superhero shit together, too.
Y'all y'all see you fucking with it.
Oh yeah, shout out for y'all, man, hanging up the poster, man.
You know what I'm saying?
My artist from Nigeria did the art, man.
You stuff, man, you know what I'm saying?
Shout to him.
Like I was saying, um, start doing the comic book.
Start doing the comic book hustle, jumped out like 2018, just been going crazy.
I used to sell CDs, so I just applied to the same hustle.
Like, you know, selling for $5, so I started selling me for $5.
Start getting more, start getting more value, building value.
More people start, you know, coming towards me, you know, supporting me,
cash shopping me, checking out the cartoon.
And I just kept it going, man.
I started inspiring to other people.
Like, other people that's not even doing anything close to what I'm doing.
Right.
They see what I'm doing.
They're like, man, if you can wear that, man, I know I can go start this shop that I, you know what I'm saying, thought it was stupid, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Man, you got an outfit made out of leggings, niggins.
But that's what I love about the shit is just like, bro, you own your ground, but it's like, you're still humble enough to go out here and be like, like, the car's playing and all that shit and you yourself with it and you, you know what I'm saying?
You ain't doing it for no cap-ass, really?
Like, niggie, it's authentic.
What does that come from?
What is that ability to be able to be you in a world full of everybody who trying to be like everybody who's trying to be like
everybody else. Well, really, just being all the way confident, you know, I wasn't always a
confident person. So, like, back in the day, when I was rapping, that was really my go-to.
So, like, as I got older, you know, just really watching my friends, you know, we used to always say,
like, hey, we're going to do a skit, we're going to do a skit. So I just started writing
stories. I turned around. I had 16 chapters to no heroes in the South. So when I put that
out, a guy in Venezuela, he was white, a white guy in Venezuela. He bought it. You know, he looked
He said he gave me his honest opinion, man.
Like, I can't get with this, man.
Like, it's kind of offensive, you know, the language, the N-word,
blanche blase.
So I had to go back to the drawing board.
And that's when I came up with homeless homeboy.
And with that, like how I met you guys, you know, I jump out.
I try to do stuff to help the community.
We feed the homeless.
And right now, we're trying to do something more innovative.
Like we're putting refrigerators outside of businesses that are allowed, you know,
that support us.
And we're going to keep, you know what I'm saying,
that field up.
we're going to, you know, have people that participate
and, you know, keep it clean, you know,
keep the area clean or whatever.
So we're reaching out to people, you know, in the city
that's willing to help us with that.
Everybody said they want to be a part of something.
So there y'all go, you know what I'm saying?
All the way, man, and I ain't even realize
you and you're the homeless homeboy,
so we've got to be like the one-bedroom buddies
or something like that because we, you know,
the homeless homeboy, because, you know,
you see he up top, so we're like, you know,
he's sending us in first.
Boy, looked like you're about to hear the nigger,
Mean-scent portion
Boom
And you're coming from
On the bottom
It's your stop
Man
That's an upper cut
Your shit
Your shit
The one cocked
That fuck you
Stop
When when you hit the nigga
You're gonna be like
Bitch
That's a
They ain't
They didn't even gonna get
To the homest old boy
We bitch
Bitch stop
Hey man
You got some
Dope visuals though
Man
Tell me a little bit more
About how you made this
physical, in the physical world.
How did you bring this to life like this?
Basically, step by step, really, I got some guys in Nigeria.
Youself, my name.
They create your story boards and everything?
Yeah, they do all the artwork.
I draw up the story.
I mean, I write up a story, send it to them.
They do all the artwork.
Send it back to me in digital pages.
That's when I send it to my guy in New York.
He'll keep printed up in books and ship it back to me.
And I get out here and distribute it, you know what I'm saying?
I got a little small team that I'm trying to be.
I got my man writing, you know what I'm saying?
Y'all might see him out with the books.
So we expand it slowly, but surely, man.
Actually, shout out to Nia.
She actually, part of y'all cast or whatever.
She's going to be playing Danix, the girl right here.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
She's getting her costume together, man.
So I'm going to have a whole little super friends out here, man.
Neil and paintball.
No, hell, yeah.
You're tripping if you think we ain't going to get us leggings
and make some of the many-fired south suits.
You're crazy.
But, like, what you help in the community and everything?
Like, do you get, what do you get your,
your you know your satisfaction like what's the most satisfying part of what you do
when i can um when i don't have much to give but the little i can give but help somebody out
it changed the whole day like man i appreciate that man you know what i'm saying like you
didn't have to do that but it wasn't much to me but it was the world of them so like seeing that
and just really the impact you know when the child see me they like the kids light up when they
see it's impossible for them not to i've seen them right man they're too change this yeah all the way

I knew I wanted to obey and submit, but I didn't fully grasp for the rest of my life what that meant.
In the woods of Minnesota, a cult leader married himself to 10 girls and forced them into a secret life of abuse.
Why did I think that way? Why did I allow myself to get so sucked in?
by this man and in thinking to the point that if I died for him, that would be the greatest
honor.
But in 2014, the youngest of the girls escaped and sparked an international manhunt.
For all those years, you know, he was the predator and I was the prey.
And then he became the prey.

In 2020, a group of
young woman in a tidy suburb of New York City found themselves in an AI-fueled nightmare.
Someone was posting photos. It was just me naked. Well, not me, but me with someone else's
body parts on my body parts that looked exactly like my own. I wanted to throw up. I wanted to scream.
It happened in Levittown, New York. But reporting the series took us through the darkest corners of the
internet, and to the front lines of a global battle against deepfake pornography.
This should be illegal, but what is this?
This is a story about a technology that's moving faster than the law, and about vigilantes,
trying to stem the tide.
I'm Margie Murphy.
And I'm Olivia Carvel.

Yeah, I've just been getting out more.
Shout out to Gucci, man.
I mean, his new video, Posse on Bo to Cress.
I just been really good making my, you know, my appearance, you know what I'm saying,
getting out there more.
I'm hard to miss him, six, five with a costume on, so, you know what I'm saying?
Hell yeah.
Can't miss me.
You have been some strip club winning at you?
Not yet.
You need some gold.
Make sure we wish you.
That was just about to ask you the one to begin.
at you with the costume on me.
Because you're on six-fad.
I'll get for a hoop at it.
Save me, Mr.
What's the name?
Wheelchair man?
I got somewhere for you to stay.
Save me.
Wheelchair, man.
I want to play.
You know, men, you know, women try to shoot
their shot, man, but I'm married, so,
you know what I'm saying?
That's, you know, that's that.
Nigger, if the homeless homeboy can be married,
you have no excuse.
Where is she at?
You know she'd be dressing up, too.
That y'all relationship is always going to be...
The homeless homeboy versus baby mama girl.
They ain't never seen each other in jeans.
It's always costume.
Baby mama girl show up talking big shit.
He thinks he's not getting the baby tonight.
Oh, homeboy.
Wait till you see this one.
Yeah, this is the child support strike.
It's my new one.
If I could just get from the grips of the white man.
Oh, man, man, man, this is beautiful, though, man,
because like you said, we tapped in with you earlier.
Holeless, homeboy, you have one wish left.
What do you want to wish?
I wish a motherfucker would
I got to be at the end of every
comment before you just bleep out
the motherfucker and put your hand like
this and then when we saw what
you was doing it was so you know because
what we do we stand on being
individuals proudly like
you know what I'm saying like this is who we are
and we put it out to the world and let them see like
these are the people that we are so
we know how tough it is to do that
and for you to be like you said
six five black man in the costume
out there not just doing it for attention but doing it to help people you know i mean that's
something we had to tap in with man because that is beyond salutable brother we salute you
tremendously look man whatever you need from the trap 85 south show man to push this to the next
level i mean we're in here we're laughing and playing but bro you did really got a dope product
right here you know what i'm saying it's put together well you get what i'm saying little black kids
they get to see comic book characters
that look like them, you know what I mean?
And then you're trying to show up for real.
And that's the thing like, you know,
Spider-Man and Superman and all them people are cool,
but, I mean, you're going to come
and they're going to be able to identify
because you understand where they come from
and you're going to be able to,
they're going to ask you questions
and you're going to have real answers
that's going to resonate with them, man.
And that's, it's priceless, brother.
You're a special brother, man.
Yeah, where can they order
online and stuff like that?
Well, I can order straight from my website, hold that down, bro.com,
B-R-U-H, everything is spelled correctly.
You can go to my web, I mean, my Instagram.
YouTube, what's the YouTube?
Hohler's Homeboy.
I got a little one-minute intro.
I did the little music to it and everything.
I got a guy in India.
He did the animation for it.
Animation is expensive, man.
His fuck, and it takes a long time.
Oh, yeah, it'd take a very long time.
It took him like a month just to do that.
But it's definitely worth it, you know what I'm saying?
Part of my portfolio.
Oh, another big thing, too, like my main whole ordeal with getting the costume, you know what I'm saying?
I wanted to push my character to the next level, bringing to life, you know what I'm saying,
a whole surreal experience when you see the book and you see the character.
I started off.
I wanted to get somebody else to do it because I was out of shape or whatever, you know what I'm saying?
Then I was like, you know what I'm just buckle down, get my health, you know what I'm saying?
Health right where I'm doing this too.
Then kill two birds and one stone.
I lost like over 40 pounds.
That's what's up, gee.
I'm going to be glad to lay.
And all y'all, superhero people out there, all y'all to make all them costumes,
and white people be walking up and down the street with going nowhere.
Hey, man, this is somebody that's really doing something real serious.
If you want to donate something, you want to give something that's going to really put something back into the community, man.
This is where you need to be looking right here.
Hell yeah, keep doing your thing, bro, and be safe out here for real, man.
Another thing, man, you know, we all need stress relievers, man.
We got these free fit camps, you know what I'm saying?
My trainer, he actually is a superhero, too, fit.
Fatham, y'all. Y'all go look them on. The Fifth Family. Um, he got the costume and everything, man. We all
here doing the whole deal, man. So, uh, y'all, he said, he's his name the whole crew.
Derek Jay, the writer, he got the one on the back where he dressed regular like he's going to a hookah lounge.
That's his dress right, regular. But then, you know what I mean, he turned into the homeless home boy.
We're already hip, man. No, hold look. Kept one running the crew there. We got the fit phantom.
So I got the fit phantom. Um, I got Nies and Danix, Sam.
right now is homeless home boy um the characters in the book you know y'all gonna love this so
we got homeless home boy that's terns we got black trash he basically uh black trash that's them
right pull in no it's the ball dude yeah that's what i'm living he basically if you can um think of
magneto he basically got that power but for garbage trash so you have to see what i didn't
that's in the corner you know with the garbottles and shit oh nigger sarin's new
Imagine you can't get to a fight with it, then you say,
Ha ha ha.
A whole bunch of trash just live up me.
Do you still want a no deal?
Nah, me.
I ain't there yesterday, bro.
It's great.
Keep going, bro.
You got Paymaster.
That's the deal with the...
Y'all said he was Puerto Rico.
He just light skin, you know what I'm saying?
You know, that's a hard thing in the art world
to get the completion right with some of us, you know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
I figured his dad was Spanish.
Paymaster, basically.
He'd be tricky.
That, and he basically, like, if you think a kingpin, he got the whole city in the pocket, you know what I'm saying?
Okay.
