Starting point is 00:03:18 That's why I got the little A little guitar twang Yeah He's from Ohio They don't fucking We got Bootsie Collins. Come on, hey. Issey Brothers.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Come on. Ohio players. Ohio players. Yeah. Tech 9. My mom. My old family's from Cleveland. Oh, really?
Starting point is 00:03:37 Yeah. You can't forget, bon. Bow, boom. Bow, boom. On the music side, too. You've been out there? You've been to the Old Spring? I did it during COVID.
Starting point is 00:03:47 He'd been out there. This motherfucker got a whole town, bro. Yeah. Yellow Springs? Yeah. We used to go to summer camp there when I was in sixth grade. Every year we went through, what the hell is it called? Camp current, uh, I can't remember anything of it.
Starting point is 00:04:03 We went out there for a week. Dave Chappelle got a whole town, bro. They got a dispensary and everything. They said it is like a camp. It is. Nice white people everywhere you look. And you know your black ass is only there to see Dave Chappelle. It's funny.
Starting point is 00:04:17 That's why they have to do. Did you notice? When I did it, it was election year. That was the Trump Biden 2020 year. Yeah. As soon as you get up the highway, it's chump, chump, chump, chump, chump, chump, chump, chump. And as soon you get in Yellow Springs, it's Black Lives Matter. Oh, and that was fine.
Starting point is 00:04:32 And in the rainbow flags. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Definitely rainbow. So they're a little, they're a little oasis got different. It's like a bubble. Yeah. I said a rainbow American flag over there. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:04:44 Some strange shit. Now, Gary, before we even get into this, you know, I fuck with the cars heavy, and we recently discovered, you got a whole-ass dog out here. That's yours. I ain't mine. Mm-mm. I was probably front on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I front a lot. You can't believe everything on the internet, bro. I've been telling you. This is this post, this, believe it in this, Gary Owens car, it was like a 73 Impala or something shit. Oh, I think that was Russell Peter's car, and I was driving it.
Starting point is 00:05:16 And I took a picture like, there's my eye. That was Russell Peter's car. You don't even, you know, all the carblood, like, Gary Owens Park. What's the old school? Hey, he knows how to market this shit. You know, Russell's so generous. You know, Russell?
Starting point is 00:05:31 Yeah. If you go out to L.A. and you're cool with them, who's just be like, stay at the house, what car you want? I don't know him like that. No, no, I didn't know him like that either. That's the crazy part. I called him to be on my podcast. He said, when you're coming out, and I go, you know, Thursday, let's say.
Starting point is 00:05:47 And he was like, all right. He was, where you stay in? I go, a hotel. I go, man, stay at the house. This is going to have the house and hidden hills right next to the Kardashians. So I was like, all I saw was hitting hills. I see, I probably stayed there. Yeah, yeah, that's all right.
Starting point is 00:05:59 He had this huge house. He was by himself because he just broke up with this girl at the time. That's crazy. He was just chilling. So he literally like, all right, he had like five cars. He goes, take one. So I took the dunk. And I was like, took pictures like mine and shit.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Sorry about that. That's wild. Yeah, bring my car back, man. Bring my car back. I thought you had then dropped the quarter mill on an old. No, I just borrowed it. He didn't take it to car shows and everything. He didn't want a car show with somebody else.
Starting point is 00:06:30 I'm going to go back and find the post. I'm going to send it to you because I was like, I did not know he fucked with the old school. He's been big on sixes and everything. I could lie. That's funny. But I didn't want to get in the conversation. You started asking me about spark plugs and shit.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Right, right. Oh. Hey, man, welcome back to the 85. Yeah. We got a very special guest in the house with us today. He'd been threatening to come for five years. O-G, man. He said I didn't put him on the show.
Starting point is 00:07:00 I was like, I didn't fucking know you would come on here. I knew he would come probably. I didn't know. I thought he'd be like, no, I ain't fucking with that. Because we'd just be over here talking shit like we do. You know what I'm saying? I was like, shit. We don't let nobody go to bed for him no more.
Starting point is 00:07:20 You just got to hold it. You just got to hold it. You just got to hold it. No, we don't let nobody go to the bathroom, but none other than the very hilarious, Mr. Gary Owen. Yeah, real. Mr. Gary Owen.
Starting point is 00:07:33 No ass. No ass. Oh, man, we do that. No ass. We do that. We do that. Shrimps. Krogas.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Kroger's. Joe Burroughs. Exactly. Yeah, man. You know, Black, people, we love to make some shit plural. Yeah, you do. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:07:50 And then your shit is specific. It's Owen. We know a lot of Owens. We don't know no. Terrell Owens, Jesse Owens, Candace. We don't fucking with Candace, but there's... Well, there's Clive Owen, the English actor. We don't know one. You know if you saw him. You've been in a lot of movies.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Sin City. You've been in some other stuff, too. What the fuck make you think I'd be watching Sense City? Hey, man, it's the only thing I can think of off the time. Gary, welcome to the trap, man. Thank you, man. How you been? Good. I feel safe. You are safe. It feels good here. It's fortified around here. We got some of that shit.
Starting point is 00:08:23 I made sure I'd check. came during the day. Yeah, this is Antonio Bendettis couch. We flipped that bitch over all the guns under that bitch. It's exciting. Yeah, man. I know what you meant by that. I saw that very good.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Yeah, they're motherfuckie. And they're not just loose under there. They're fitted. I was like, damn. To the bottom of the couch. You flip that over to the door, then we just get to pulling out all kind of yawks and stalks and shit that do that. Bray, you were in the military for a long-ass time, right?
Starting point is 00:08:49 Yeah. Damn. Six? Six years? Years. Navy? Mm-hmm. And you start, that's where you kind of like
Starting point is 00:08:56 started fucking with the jokes and shit. I knew I wanted to be a comedian. I just didn't know how you did it. That was my dilemma too, because I was from a small-ass town and we had no... You're from Mississippi? Yeah, we have no entertainers, for real.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Like, not other than, like, motherfuckers who would go and play, you know, music at, like, a bar or something shit, they were, like, the big stars. Nobody came through? Nobody came through. Nobody, only for people who came through, and my whole step there was like,
Starting point is 00:09:21 Morgan Freeman was a regular. He wasn't doing no common. He's got a bar there, right? He owned a lot of shit in Mississippi. It's a cool story about him, too, that he actually went to John Deer to buy two of those big-ass tractors, like the big $700,000 tractors.
Starting point is 00:09:35 And he was just walking around, and nobody would help him. So he went across the street, and he bought two of them. It was like, fuck y'all. It was John Deere, and whatever their competitor is, he went over there and bought some shit.
Starting point is 00:09:49 Who compete with... Well, I mean, whoever fuck make tractors. It's the number two in every industry. I'm trying to think, too. Like, what is the number two? I don't know, but they red. They, they, John Deere's green and these motherfuckers is red. Okay.
Starting point is 00:09:59 So that, that was a cool, uh, but he was a regular because he's, he's big in into like, you know, not the politics of Mississippi, but like the representation and, you know, the tour. And they have, like, a blues bar. Yeah, he got some shit down there. I think he's from around Clarksdale way. He's from the Delta over that way. Where you from? I'm from Oxford, the bougie part.
Starting point is 00:10:19 That's, uh, Ole Miss. That's where everything's 18 miles per hour or something, right? Yeah. Archie Manor. Well, the speed limit. Oxford, Ohio. Oh. The speed limit at Old Miss is 18 to honor Archie Manning.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Like around the campus, they change it. Oh, okay. Instead of 20. Yeah. Okay. But if you go 20, they ain't go on. If you go 30, they're on your ass. If you go 30, they on your ass.
Starting point is 00:10:45 Yeah. Yeah. But like I said, he was a regular around Oxford. John Grisham, the author, the author from. Yeah, Jurassic. Oh, not Jurassic. I would know what he looked like. Time to Kill.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Cool, white dude. Cool as fuck. That's a good movie. Yeah, he used to let us have baseball practice in his yard. Like all this. John Grisham? When we were, like, because he got a son that's my age. He was in our class.
Starting point is 00:11:06 So he got the big ass, all these acres. And he would let us come out and, you know, play baseball at their house and shit. And Charles Barkley came through randomly. We were at school one day, and Charles Barkley showed up and gave these speeches to all the kids and gave everybody a t-shirt. You can still see them t-shirts around the oath. Bannis, when he started touring, he came through. But we didn't really get a whole lot of people through that.
Starting point is 00:11:32 We get a lot of, like, white celebrities, like that one lady. You ever seen Chasing Amy? I know the show. You know, the movie, Chasing Amy? What make you think I would have seen Chasinghers? Because I know you've seen Clerks. You know, clerks. Oh, yeah, yeah, Kevin Smith.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Yeah. That white girl with the funny boy, she lived in Oxford. Now? Yeah. Yeah, she played, she was Amy in the movie, Chinese Finger Trap. That's who I am. She lived in Oxford. Chase and Amy.
Starting point is 00:12:05 Where's the cast? Her? Yep. Joey Lauren Adams. Yep. Eli Man, he lived in Oxford. He went to old. He had to.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Yeah. He was a cool motherfucker, drunk ass. He liked them beers. So you were saying comedy. You always knew that that was going to be your thing. Like, how did you get started with it? Was it just, like, funny dude? Yeah, I was class clown, most obnoxious in high school.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I did get upset because I was prom king, but they didn't vote me most likely to be famous, and they voted this guy named Chris Jones. But the prom king ain't never the one who's, like, most likely to be famous. No, but I was class clown and most obnoxious. So you felt like stacking these awards. Yeah. And you got prom king.
Starting point is 00:12:50 I'm like this. So I'm going. I was really one of the most likely to be famous if you're going to take all of them. And they went to this guy named Chris Jones. He was going to Air Force Academy. So I remember I pulled him aside and it like this. I was like,
Starting point is 00:13:03 you know pilots are only famous when they wreck. That's fucked up. I hope that man is still alive. I hope he ain't going to. Okay, yeah, yeah. Shout out to Chris Jones. There he go right now. I'm sure he watches.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Man, you got the strangest relationship. with the breakfast club. Why? It's like every time you go on there, like they give you shit, they make fun of everything you got going on. I can tell somebody should be bothering you a little bit. Nah, it's funny.
Starting point is 00:13:34 It's not a beat like that. It's all content. I tell everybody, all my beefs are fake on the internet. I don't take none of it's serious. Everything I say is just content. Yeah. So even when they come in it, because they make fun about the Netflix thing.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Right, right, right. Been told no so many times. They tell you no? They say our budget is done for the year. You got to get in January. And it don't matter what time of the year you hit them. It's always the same answer. It's like this.
Starting point is 00:14:04 I only think they're watching it. It's fine. That's crazy. Yeah. The only thing I'm doing not now is waiting on them because there's been two times they got me where they had me on waiting for like four or five months on the answer and then they just say no.
Starting point is 00:14:17 And I'm going well. Right. You even give a fuck? Not anymore. I think in the beginning, like five, six years ago. Because it's almost like everybody was at the birthday party, but you wouldn't invite it. You're at the door like, yo, I'm happy for everybody gets them. Right.
Starting point is 00:14:33 I'm going, you know, what is what it is. I got a funny story about this guy. Okay. I don't think he's ever heard it. So 2019, DeMarcus cousins did a special comedy slam. Yeah, yeah. Amazon. So he went up right before me, right?
Starting point is 00:14:50 And I don't ever really watch anybody when I'm on them shows like that. Stay in my dressing room because I've seen comedians psyched themselves out as somebody's killing, right? But you got to go up five minutes before you go up because you're up next. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:01 So I go up and Carlos up there, he's killing him. My first joke was his last joke. And I went, talk about fucking sweating. No. So in Oakland, they always say hella. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:15 You hella funny. You hella slow. You hella good. He goes, man, you motherfuckers out here. You was hella. for everything. And I'm going, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:15:27 That's what I was, oh, this motherfucker here. And it was, it was so bad. That was going to be my first joke. Like, you know, you guys in the bay, hell of it means everything. And it's like, you had to be there. Yeah. He didn't take it for me. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:41 He never saw me do it. Right. So I wasn't thinking, like, oh, somebody told him, I was like this. I go, it's just one of the things comedians thinking like, right? But you got a reposition. What? Fuck me, dude. especially only got like five, 10 minutes.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I think we got 10, 15 minutes on that show. Yeah. And my shit was like, say it right off the bat, Oakland, hella funny, hell of slow. Right. And then I had a callback at the end. And I go, well, fuck. The beginning of the end's fucked right now.
Starting point is 00:16:04 You got a shot dad. I went up there like, yeah. I just got into it. I figured it out, but it took me like two minutes. It was like a standing eight count. I was like, ugh, oh, oh, oh, oh. And somebody said they go. You figured it out real time.
Starting point is 00:16:18 You figured it out on stage. Yeah, yeah, because somebody said, was you nervous? I go, no, Carlos, man. He said this hell of joke. And they was like this, because you was flying the first two minutes. You were like, trying to get that laugh, you know? I was like this. But it wasn't a knock on him.
Starting point is 00:16:33 It was just funny because I was going, when I saw it happening, it goes, you motherfuckers into Oakland, man. You see, you hell, we got hell of girls. We got Halloween. I was like this. Okay. There goes the call back at the end. There goes the first joke. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Damn, my bad gear. It happens, man. Fine. The rich Russians falling out of Windows podcast is back. Sad oligarch season two. Since we left you in 2023 after season one, many politically motivated Russian millionaires have continued to die in suspicious circumstances.
Starting point is 00:17:14 We dig deeper into these odd deaths, which include everything from, mushroom poisoning and mysterious heart attacks to window clumsiness and suicide by decapitation. One thing we have found since we started back in 2022 is the information on the suspicious deaths has become much harder to find. Not just that, it seems as if state-controlled media in Russia is being utilised to purposely confuse and contradict the reporting that gets put out. As you can probably imagine, season two gets very weird. Listen to Sad Oligarch on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Starting point is 00:19:08 I'm Elliot Connie, host of the podcast Family Therapy, a series where real families come together to heal and find hope. What would be a clue that would be like? I've gotten lots of text messages from him. This one's from a little bit better of a version of him. Because he's feeding himself well. It's always a concern. Like, are you eating well? He's actually an amazing cook.
Starting point is 00:19:27 There was this one time where we had neighbors and I saved their dog. And I ended up inviting them over for food. And that was like one of my proudest moments. This is family therapy. Real families, real stories on a journey to heal together. Listen to season two of family therapy, Wednesday on the Black Effect Podcast Network. Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Michael Lewis here. My book The Big Short tells the story of the buildup and burst of the
Starting point is 00:19:57 U.S. housing market back in 2008. It follows a few unlikely but lucky people who saw the real estate market for the black hole it would become and eventually made billions of dollars from that perception. It was like feeding the monster, said Eisman. We fed the monster until it blew up. The monster was exploding. Yet on the streets of Manhattan, there was no sign anything important had just happened. Now, 15 years after the Big Short's original release,
Starting point is 00:20:27 and a decade after it became an Academy Award-winning movie, I've recorded an audiobook edition for the very first time. The Big Short story, what it means when people start betting against the market, and who really pays for an unchecked financial system, is as relevant today as it's ever been, offering invaluable insight into the current economy and also today's politics. We call the shots. In what way is that degrading? That's us taking hold of our life. In the 1990s, actress Jenna Jameson crossed over into mainstream culture, redefined stardom, then left it all behind. I'm a powerful woman. I think that's intimidating to a man. With a cast of hundreds of actors and comedians playing key figures, we'll take a look at how adult films became legal in the 70s, hugely profitable in the 80s and 90s, and fell off a financial cliff in the 2000s. Listen to Geno World on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:21:58 Didn't you say some shit that got them on, like they was on your ass? You said the wrong football team. No, no, that's where I transitioned. Okay. I said, you got Raider fans and 49er fans. Oh, they hated that. And as soon as I said that, the wrong. Raiders are just like, Raiders, they wouldn't shut up.
Starting point is 00:22:18 And I just, the joke was, you could die at a Raider game. Yeah, you know, hey, the fucking Readers instead. Like, if you wear a Bronco, they'll just fucking stab you. I was like, it's fucking Tim Tebow. Right. It's protected by Christ, bro. And like, if Nider fans ain't gangster, and that's when they started booing in a fun way. Okay, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:36 Oh, my fuck, we're gangsta, too. Like, why do you, why are you acting like, that's a good thing? Right, right, right. You can get stabbed in their stadium was next to Six Flags. I always stay away from teams because that shit is so touching. It is, facts.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Bro, we were in fucking Boston and D.C. was like, fuck the Patriots. All of them was up there. I was like, why didn't you do that? He should have been right, though, because there's mostly white dudes on the Patriots when Brady was there.
Starting point is 00:23:04 No, they weren't there. Not that girl, the other ones. It was, there was some more. About the D-Line? Yeah, this. But you know, but they know why he said that. You can't. be from Atlanta and not
Starting point is 00:23:14 safe. That's real strong. Like, they get it. They got all the Super Bowls. They would be crazy, but they don't be bad. Who's your team? Pittsburgh. Oh, that's a motherfucker here, man.
Starting point is 00:23:24 The Steelers, man. I'm a Bengals fan. Oh, you know how the Browns fan? Cincinnati, baby. Joe Burrow, why? Wouldn't that have they ever been good? They just went to the Super Bowl three years ago. What you're talking about?
Starting point is 00:23:33 What do you mean? Went. They didn't win? I'm saying they win. What does that mean? Man, you got... Dude. What?
Starting point is 00:23:40 What? You hella negative You're being Hella weird right now We're in the fucking Bengals You're hell of loyal What made you like them I grew up there
Starting point is 00:23:51 But that you They weren't for been good In your lifetime Yeah they were They had boomer size Than Nicky Woods That doesn't mean shit They were twice
Starting point is 00:23:58 When I was growing up They keep going They got to win They will Bring me back next year They're not going Bring me back next year This is
Starting point is 00:24:05 Who plays for the Bengals Joe Burrow Jammar Chase Team Higgins What? What? We. That's not enough
Starting point is 00:24:12 motherfucking to win. He's got a 99 on Madden. That's not enough people to win the Super Bowl. That's whatever. I don't like how y'all doing. My cousin should do up there. I don't like that shit. I don't give you.
Starting point is 00:24:22 It's Ohio. That's the whole different team. I don't give a fuck. Oh, my God, Georgia Tech. I don't like how you motherfuckers did AJ Green. Oh, my fuck, that's Georgia. You can't a fuck.
Starting point is 00:24:36 You know, yellow jacket? Yeah, but shit, still. Somebody should make a call. This is bullshit. Watch. What do you talk about? Should you do it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Because they let him play that first game? No, because they fucked and fucked all his money up and drafted him all late. He knew he was better. He was already rich. I'm going to give a fuck about that. You don't get to decide when the motherfucker go because they already got money. If you think about it, though, he didn't treat them different because he got a daddy and shit. It was really only like six teams that were passing on them.
Starting point is 00:25:05 Like, most of the teams weren't. 50 fucking times. Five times. Yeah, but he was. like the six round 5th, 50th, 8th? But we got to realize, you know, Kansas City wasn't going to take them. That was out of the question.
Starting point is 00:25:20 So when they pass, it's not really passing. They ain't the quarterback. They don't need a quarterback. Right. They're acting like the whole NFL pass them where really was five teams that needed a quarterback. So it really wasn't like 32 teams passed on them. It was like the five.
Starting point is 00:25:32 You know what I mean? It's fine. He had folks watching. Because folks was watching deep into the, I was like, I didn't know. They televised this deal. You want me to smoke some weed? Yeah, you need to calm down.
Starting point is 00:25:43 No, I was, I was, because I know you didn't smoke weed. Like this. You need to bring it down a little bit. You're right. Yeah. I just know you didn't smoke weed. Mississippi, slow pace, cool, weed. But I don't understand why you don't smoke weed.
Starting point is 00:25:56 You're a comedian. I tried it a couple times. Just hurt my throat. Whoa. I knew that was going. I knew that. I didn't step myself up for that. Hey, yo.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Man, that was down the hello. You can't have body parts Man, my goddamn because that's the man, why the fucking something hurt in your throat? That's raspy. This part hurt. When you secure your sexuality
Starting point is 00:26:21 and you know if you don't go that way, you can say shit like that. You scared to save my neck, brother. And man, you know, I do a lot of research and shit. And I heard research, you say that the motherfucker you had opening for you did some dirty shit and told on you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Yeah, a dirty motherfucker. You can see him at a coffee shop near you. I don't even know who it is. That's my point. You never will. Damn. That's the opener. The opener.
Starting point is 00:26:51 So when I got, when I got DeBoros, we was a mediation. And my ex, we're pretty cordial. And she just goes, Gary, I know about some of the girls. And she was wrong about 90%. Okay. But 10% of she was right. Right. Not that there was a hundred.
Starting point is 00:27:10 Right, right. Just percentage. Percentage wise. She named off this name. She was, I know about boom. And I went, wait a minute. There was only one motherfucker on the planet and knew about her. And then he told her that he got fired because I found out he was sleeping with this girl behind my back.
Starting point is 00:27:31 I didn't know he was sleeping with her either. So not only did he tell on me, he was, when I fired him, he was all up. So he was open for you. stage and with this whole. Yeah. Damn. That's crazy. And we knew, listen, I wasn't under no pretense, I was the only one with her. Everybody, she was, she was cool
Starting point is 00:27:49 like that. Dirty diameter. She was, she was good people, she was friendly. But I'm like, but at what point are you going behind my back? As I said, Sopranos, you die for that shit. No, he went behind your bag. Twice.
Starting point is 00:28:03 That's the dope. That's why I didn't kill him. I killed his career. Damn. So he'll never blow up. Ever. Damn. It was older. The second he gets a little heat.
Starting point is 00:28:17 Damn. Damn, Jerry, that's fucked up. It is fucked up. Don't do him like camera. That was a good idea. You see this? Good one. I'm not paying him $7,500, though.
Starting point is 00:28:26 No, no. That's so fucking lame, man. Lame. So, like, that was your boy? That was my boy. Yeah. I let him go in 2018. She got to realize that divorce happened in
Starting point is 00:28:40 2021. That's when you started talking to her. I follow you on Instagram. That shit was sad. It was all right. I'm saying, like, when you was like rebuilding the relationship with your kids and shit, that's what I was saying. Okay, thanks.
Starting point is 00:28:52 For real, I was like, damn. Let's talk about football again. No, because I like how where the story ended up going. You get what I'm saying? It was like, hey, we're rebuilding, we back talking. And I was like, that last one was heavy. When I saw you, when you went
Starting point is 00:29:08 to the graduation or something shit, and he was like, I'm just gonna chill, see my baby. Oh, yeah, my daughter. Yeah, but you're like, I ain't gonna go over there. And I was like, damn, I was respectful. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:17 She graduated from A&T, and I went, and then they was like, no, but you did something that you don't see a lot of men do, though. Like, you never gave up. Like, you kept pursuing. Like, you kept being there, even when you weren't there
Starting point is 00:29:30 the way you wanted to be, it still meant a lot. That, like, later on down a lot. In the grand scheme of things, that you still show up. Yeah. Yeah. You always got to think about that.
Starting point is 00:29:39 So I fuck with you on that one. Well, it's also you got to tell men, too, like, when you get a divorce, you know, don't lash out on the baby mama. Because the kids see that. Yeah. You can't lash out. Behind closed doors, when you're with your close friends, then you can drop whatever you want. Right. But on social media, it's like, it's no win.
Starting point is 00:29:59 And you know what I learned through all that was, like, Internet is not real life. when I say I was locked up at the four seasons in Baltimore for two weeks I was under Mohammed Shabazz because the processor was trying to serve me so I was hiding right and they knew you picked that name though they knew I was lying because when I order breakfast I get bacon and eggs it's like what
Starting point is 00:30:27 Mohammed Shabazz is it so you know I'm two weeks I'm in the hotel I'm all in doing is reading every couple days. A new blog comes out. Everybody knows why we're getting divorced. Getting dragged by everybody. And then as a man, you don't get to tell your
Starting point is 00:30:46 sag. You just kind of got to take it. Yeah. But the first show in Baltimore I'm going to say about 45 minutes. I ain't lying. I got on stage like, how are these people going to react to me? And then it was nothing but love. And then about 45 minutes in, this lady in the back just yelled, I love your little cheating
Starting point is 00:31:02 ass. I go, you don't know how bad I'd hear that right now. It just hit me like the hardcore fans and the people that really fuck with you. And you guys know on the internet, people be dragging you, but you never see in real life. They don't exist. Because those people
Starting point is 00:31:18 who do that, they don't buy tickets to shit. No. That part. They don't buy, they don't leave out the house for the most part. Right. I got to tell my guys now, I got my guys that are on the road with me and they'll get all fluster with a comment or a post. I go, dude,
Starting point is 00:31:34 worry about the people to come to you live. Yeah. If somebody comes to you live and makes a comment, like send you a message. Like, I enjoy this, didn't enjoy this. You paid to see me, I'll have a back and forth. Right, right. I've had a lot of back and forth with fans, and then it turns into something positive at the end. Like, well, you know, I'm still going to come to you.
Starting point is 00:31:51 That's been like that joke. Right. You know what I mean? But they paid to see me. If you were just going off something, you saw off the Internet. A lot of times they froze, too. You respond to them, and that's all they wanted was to respond. They'll back down the media.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Hey, man, I was the fucking with you. Yeah, right? I want to see if you was going to say anything. You're like, oh, wow, but the Baltimore Comedy Factory, that's a rough-ass room. Oh, that's one of my favorites. What do they usually fight on your weekend? Oh, they fight? Because you know they're going to have at least one fight.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Oh, no, I don't have that. I have at least one. I think I got, I must have the uncles of the people going to your family. Because you're like you to do a three show Saturday? Yeah. That second show, that's where all the fighters be. Really? Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:31 So I know I'm getting older because my third show is at four. when they say you want to add I'm adding to mat day I go ooh I age down at the midnight show for real facts every time I add shows down they're like 4 o'clock
Starting point is 00:32:45 I'm like what happened to the midnight shit go no no no your fans aren't awake at midnight so I prefer the 4 o'clock show now I'm like all right I'm still back in my room I mean you know that midnight show
Starting point is 00:32:56 on three notes like that shit is on your ass like you feel all of them first two shows like I wanted to ask you this I know you've been playing most, like, all black rooms for ever. You ever play all white rooms and be like, what the fuck is going on? Nah.
Starting point is 00:33:14 There was a time. You ever play all white rooms? Yeah, all the time. There was a time. Oh, me fucking round out you a secret agent. You got a whole other little bit on the white side. A little bit. I thought you'd just be in the hood shit fucking around.
Starting point is 00:33:26 Let me find out you a mainstream. Yeah, I'm going to Fox News. I'll go to Fox News, suddenly do it. 85 South to Fox News, baby. I was going to say you cover all babies. Right to feel fun, right after that. Yeah. Joe Rogan? No, that's all.
Starting point is 00:33:40 No, I do remember when I first started doing stand-up, I was doing all the quote-unquote black nights in L.A., so that's Fat Tuesday, Mobeda Mondays, chocolate Sundays. And even on the weekends, I was doing like Mavericks Flat and all the places in Compton, so to speak. So I do remember when I started getting more white people with my shows, I go, oh shit.
Starting point is 00:34:03 act, I gotta, I gotta work this so everybody gets my jokes. I can't work it easy for it. Right. For you personally. Now it doesn't matter. Right. Now it doesn't matter. In the beginning, you know, a lot of my actors is trying to, honestly, you're just trying
Starting point is 00:34:17 to get women. It's a lot of your acting how beautiful black women are. So it's like, you know what I mean? You're just trying to get something after the show, hopefully. Right, right. Dance or something, Little Destiny's Child. You say, no, no, no, no, no. Then you say, yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:32 I was. My job, boy. Back in the day. I used to dance in that whole song. They're going to be honest with me. They go, he's gay or is he not? What are we going on there? You know, the brother's a good three minutes on.
Starting point is 00:34:48 When I came out to Desi's Child, the women loved it, and I was not a threat to the men anymore. Like, you know, by a fucking with some dude. He was the whole dance, the whole thing. Well, what was your experience, like, hosting Comic View? Because that's totally different pace of just, like, doing a weekend or doing a night, bro. You were the host. Well, you know, when I hosted, the year before I hosted, it was the contest. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:15 They only had like 30 of us, maybe. They only accepted 30 comics. There was three an episode, and you would win your episode, and you moved on to the next round. And it's just the stars lined up. Like, I kept winning my rounds. You went four rounds, then you get a half hour special. Okay. It was an hour special, but you only did it.
Starting point is 00:35:33 only had to do 42 minutes because there was a lot of commercials in hands. So it really was a 42 minutes better than you filmed it. So when I became the host is when they opened it up, no longer a contest, and that's because Def Jam went away. So Def Jam was no longer around. So it made comics you different than Def Jam was a contest. Def Jam was just a showcase. Def Jam goes away.
Starting point is 00:35:55 Company's like, oh, we can be the showcase now. And that's when they opened up to like 300 comics. Okay. So the year I host it, oh my God, like, You look back, and, granted, there was 285 comics you never heard of, but Epps, yeah. Kat Williams, Monique. Everybody was on that season, that D-Ray, everybody was coming on that year that
Starting point is 00:36:16 we didn't know they was going to be who they are. Right. You know what I mean? That was wild. But they would just, honestly, it was just like, I would just go up there with Ronaldo Ray. That's a legend, man. Yeah, we had so much fun.
Starting point is 00:36:28 I'm so glad we got to meet Rinaldo Rale. Shout out Rinald-Rae, man, recipe, man. He came to Uptown for a weekend when it was on Marietta Street. You remember when he came? He set all the comics around and he bought everybody's drinks and he just told us all these old-ass stories. And it was just one of the coolest things because it didn't have to. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:36:49 He would take me, we would get done film and Comic View and he'd take me to like, like some training day shit. We'd show up at some building in L.A. They had a gate and, like, he hit a buzzer and the motherfucking gate open and you came back. And then you go back there, and it was like dolomite. Oh, the old plans. Richard Roundtree is.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Oh, back, where the fuck are we at? Some young girls. Everybody had champagne. He didn't drink in the black plastic. I got a crystal back to the end of the gold rappers. And everyone would be like, yeah, stay down. And then he crossed his legs. And then we're like, hey, this is my young dude, man.
Starting point is 00:37:25 We got that TV show together. Come on down, Richard. You know? I just like, I didn't say shit. I was just a sponge on the wall. I was like, you know what I mean? And it's the good thing about someone like Ronaldo and stuff, their stories were true.
Starting point is 00:37:39 They weren't lying. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Okay. The last time I worked with him was at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington. And he fell off the stage. I'll never forget it.
Starting point is 00:37:52 The Indians there was like, you can't drink. Well, Ronaldo drinks every show, right? He drinks his champagne on stage. So he drunk. the champagne, he drank too much. He was telling a joke, bro, and just fell. And then he rolled back up on stage and finished the joke. And the champagne never spilled.
Starting point is 00:38:16 He went, you just saw the glass up. And then he rolled back up and went, and then I told that bitch. Are we not getting acknowledged it on the stage? He didn't say shit. He just kept it moving. That's hilarious. Rolled, though. Rolled back up.
Starting point is 00:38:34 And then I told him that there. That was my last time talking to him. He had the whole stories because he was around Richard Pryor. He saw, that was the last time I talked to him. I think he saw, he knew something that clearly I didn't because he was reminisced about all his contemporaries that passed away. Remember, we got something to eat before the show. And he was talking about Red Fox.
Starting point is 00:38:57 And I was going to be comedians. And he was like, he was like, yeah, I'm the only one left. Everybody gone, man. It was almost like he was coming to grips. Like, I don't have much time. I think he passed away probably two years, three years later. Yeah. Very shortly after that.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Because he was sick for a while. I think he had a stroke. Yeah. So he was kind of down. Yeah, Red Fox was definitely his guy because that's the drinks that he bought everybody. He made everybody drink Grandma Ye and orange juice. Oh, that's what we used to drink.
Starting point is 00:39:25 That was in L.A.? That was in Atlanta. Atlanta? Okay, he said that. Rich Russians falling out of Windows podcast is back. Sad oligarch season two. Since we left you in 2023 after season one, many politically motivated Russian millionaires
Starting point is 00:39:46 have continued to die in suspicious circumstances. We dig deeper into these odd deaths, which include everything from mushroom poisoning and mysterious heart attacks to window clumsiness and suicide by decapitation. One thing we have found since we started back in 2022 is the information on the suspicious deaths has become much harder to find. Not just that, it seems as if state-controlled media in Russia
Starting point is 00:40:15 is being utilised to purposely confuse and contradict the reporting that gets put out. As you can probably imagine, season two gets very weird. Listen to Sad Ologac on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Danny Shapiro, host of the hit podcast Family Secrets. We were in the car, like a Rolling Stone came on, and he said, there's a line in there about your mother. And I said, what? What I would do if I didn't feel like I was being accepted is choose an identity that other people can't have. I knew something had happened to me in the middle of the night, but I couldn't hold on to what had happened.
Starting point is 00:40:55 These are just a few of the moving and important stories I'll be holding space for on my upcoming 13th season of Family Secrets. Whether you've been on this journey with me from season one or just joining the Family Secret's family, we're so happy to have you with us. I'll dive deep into the incredible power of secrets, the ones that shape our identities, test our relationships, and ultimately reveal who we truly are. Listen to Family Secrets on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Jenna World, Jenna Jameson, Vivid Video, and The Valley is a new podcast about the history of the adult film industry. I'm Molly Lambert, host of Heidi World The Heidi Fly Story, and I'll be your tour guide on a wild ride through adult films. We get paid more than the men. We call the shots. In what way is that degrading? That's us taking hold of our life. In the 1990s, actress Jenna Jameson crossed over. into mainstream culture, redefined stardom, then left it all behind. I'm a powerful woman. I think that's intimidating to a man. With a cast of hundreds of actors and comedians playing key figures, we'll take a look at how adult films became legal in the 70s, hugely profitable in the 80s and 90s, and fell off a financial
Starting point is 00:42:23 cliff in the 2000s. Listen to Geno World on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I'm I Belongoria and I'm Maitegomethran. And on our podcast, Hungry for History, we mix two of our favorite things, food and history. Ancient Athenians used to scratch names onto oyster shells and they called these Ostercon to vote politicians into exile. So our word ostracize is related to the word oyster. No way. Bring back the Ostercon.
Starting point is 00:42:57 And because we've got a very Mikaasa esucasa kind of vibe on our show. So friends always stop by. Pretty much every entry into this side of the planet was through the Gulf of Mexico. No, the America. No, the America. The Gulf of Mexico, continue to be so forever and ever. It blows me away how progressive Mexico was in this moment. They had land reform.
Starting point is 00:43:23 They had labor rights. They had education rights. Mustard seeds were so valuable to the ancient Egyptians that they used to place them in their tombs for the afterlife. Listen to Hungry for History as part of the My Cultura Podcast Network, available on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's okay not to be okay sometimes and be able to build strength and love within each other. Thanksgiving isn't just about food. It's a day for us to show up for one another.
Starting point is 00:43:54 I'm Elliot Connie, host of the podcast Family Therapy, a series where real families come together to heal and find hope. What would be a clue that would be like? I've gotten lots of text messages from him. This one's from a little bit better of a version of him. Because he's feeding himself well. It's always a concern. Like, are you eating well?
Starting point is 00:44:11 He's actually an amazing cook. There was this one time where we had neighbors and I saved their dog. And I ended up inviting them over for food. And that was like one of my proudest moments. This is family therapy. Real families, real stories on a journey to heal together. Listen to season two of family therapy every Wednesday on the Black of Effect Podcast Network, IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:44:38 I heard you say somewhere that you got to, you was performing one night and you ain't no Richard Pryor was in the crowd. Yeah. Well, no, we knew he was, he was sick. This was before the Kings of Comedy, so this was probably 98. And, uh... I did in LA, right? They had a comic store, and they said, Richard's coming.
Starting point is 00:44:55 And I was like, and everybody was, you know, oh, he sat down his booth, had his two people with him. And they told all the comics, no pictures, don't go up to him. He just wants to sit and watch the show. And so, all right, I get off stage. One of Richard's guys come on and said, Richard wants to meet you. And I was like, all right. So I go sit down.
Starting point is 00:45:17 And two things happened that was funny. One, he asked to get a picture with me. And I was like, all right. I said, well, can I get my camera so I can remember it? It's the four iPhones and all that shit, right? Right. I'll be right back. I run to my truck, because I had, like, the yellow catatio, right?
Starting point is 00:45:35 Oh, we could do in L.A. You don't even know who you're going to be. I'm young in the game. Yeah. I come back with my camera, that fucking security guard lifting me up. Move over, we said no pictures. I go, he asked me. He asked me.
Starting point is 00:45:51 And Richard was so soft, so he goes, it's why. You know, he was sick, but he was still coherent. And then he whispered in my ear. He goes, you're funny. He goes, don't have a change. And I was like, I was like the last dragon, like the gold, where I'm like, the globe, right? Yeah. Why am I watching Oprah two, three years later?
Starting point is 00:46:11 Monique's on Oprah. And Oprah goes, when did you know, Monique? When did you know you have it? She goes, well, I had a show, and Richard Pryor was in the audience. And after the show, Richard pulled me a side and whispered in my air, don't change. Don't have a change. I go, what's this? What's this?
Starting point is 00:46:28 I'm saying it to everybody. So you got some whack comedians that's like, I'm not going to change because Richard Pryor told me, Don't take. Not saying that Monique is one, though. No, no, I'm not saying that. You know how the internet is.
Starting point is 00:46:41 Yeah, yeah. I told a story before, but I was going, I was saying her watching Oprah like, no. It's kind of like when you was on stage in Oakland. No, no, no, no, no. Because at that point, I was like this, that's my Oprah story.
Starting point is 00:46:52 I'm saving it for Oprah. Yeah, man. Don't change. This thing that tells everybody about that. That's crazy, though. That might be how. They just wanted to never fuck over the next comedian. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:47:01 I mean, it could have just told me of Monique that, too. You know what I mean? It could have been just made y'all too. Yeah. Remember, we were the last two to show up at Oakland. We had that long-ass band ride. Yeah, I think you were tired. I said, I talked about my podcast.
Starting point is 00:47:13 I go, the comedians don't realize other comedians could be tired because I was on 10 because I lived there, so I wasn't tired. He got off the plane. I think he went to sound check and you was checked out. I just want to go to the room. I think going to sound chick. Yeah, it's kind of pointless. How fucking hard could it be?
Starting point is 00:47:29 Bitch, it's either up or down. It's usually up. Facts. I'm not fucking showing up at 2.30. Got no fucking sound check. I sound the same way everywhere I go. Yeah, that was apparent. You don't want to be there.
Starting point is 00:47:43 At that point. He don't want to go. We was in a man in the back. I'm trying to have a conversation with Carlos, and every answer is like, yeah. Nah. Uh-huh. Like, where are you coming from? Another state.
Starting point is 00:47:56 I was, you know How'd you get here? Good. It's like this. All right, man, I was seeing tonight. But it was tired, right? So I went on my podcast and I talked about, I said, man, sometimes comedians, we can get in our own heads because it's like, hey, what the fuck I do to Carlos? Like, what I didn't do this shit?
Starting point is 00:48:14 That's what I'm saying, but it's funny. That's why I like podcasts, especially because I do a lot of them by myself. Like, you will have a self-therapy session because I sat there and realized, oh, he didn't do nothing. Because he was just tired from the flight But there's some comedians that Some people be like, man, I don't like Carlos I don't give a fuck A motherfucker quiet
Starting point is 00:48:34 To himself I don't like that motherfucker mind his own business man Yeah I'm sure there's a few And then there's some people you meet and you're like Oh man he's seeing standoffish And who walkie then then You talk to somebody else
Starting point is 00:48:49 And you like no that's how they are And then you like And then you get around them another time You're like oh they're not standoffish They just stay in the same spot and they're not going to do a lot of, you're like, yeah. What about this? You ever get this?
Starting point is 00:49:00 Some motherfuckers don't light up till some white women get in the room. I'm about to say. So, bingjas get around, niggins get. Niggins get. Niggins get ridges, making drinks and all that. Oh, no, no, no, no. Now he can juggle.
Starting point is 00:49:11 You juggled. Hey, let me tell you the funniest. One of my dudes would be on the road with me, right? I'm never forget. We was in Oklahoma City. He's laughing like he lost. This motherfucker is late for everything. He was late today.
Starting point is 00:49:25 to get me here, right? He's always late. We was in Oklahoma City, and these two white girls is at the bar, and then he goes, this had to be 15 years ago. He was like,
Starting point is 00:49:36 I don't know how they got my info, but the one girl called, and she goes, are you guys at the courtyard? And I was like, yeah? She goes, okay, we're on our way. I go, why did she call him me? I think he used my phone or something.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Okay. So I called him, I said, hey, that white girl's coming with her friends to the hotel. I got to let him in the lobby because he's one of them you got to let him in he goes all right this motherfucker was like on the 20th
Starting point is 00:49:58 floor I was on the 10th I hung up walked out of my room when the elevator when that shit opened up he was on it I go how don't you punctual I said how did you get to the elevator fast? He was just sitting there like this draft though
Starting point is 00:50:12 hat cock I'm like this oh I see what it is I've seen that shit happen nobody turn hardcore gangster ass rapper bro. We go out to the ball with him. I don't know
Starting point is 00:50:28 where the black... I know what he's talking about. I know what he's talking about. We ended up being the only three black dudes in the club. This motherfucker, a whole gangster now. I look up, this motherfucker asking the white girls, do I want to get some yager bombs? I'm like, what's the...
Starting point is 00:50:43 What's the fucking my sin? Yagerbombs is a panty drop. There is those whitest drink you can get. You took me back to high school. Let me go. Oh, man, Wishkin butter, Yeagerbom? Yeagerbone, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:50:58 The crazy thing is, Yeagerbite's that ain't even real liquor. That shit ain't even liquid. It's like liquor. That shit like a melted Twizzler or some shit. Yeah, I ain't understand the appeal to that Yager man. Yeah, I don't get it either. Gary, you ever had, who would you say would be your biggest hater for you being a white dude? Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Do you have somebody who just hated on you for that? You're talking about stand-up or in life? Just stand-up on the comedy side Because you know comedy beef is way different Yeah, I don't know It seems like you can catch it from both sides, though You know what I heard some white comedians going on me I was like, well, I don't even know that dude
Starting point is 00:51:36 Like at a left field unsolicited Yeah There was a there's one guy named Joe De Rosa You ain't have to name him Well, it's fine I don't know if he's got to name me I can name him I really don't know what I did this dude He went on the pockets
Starting point is 00:51:51 He goes in that Gary O and you know he does the black shit and it's offensive he acts like i know black women and i know black people he goes and he does it i was like yo where did this come from i don't think i've ever met this man in my life do man i don't know where he came from but i was like i see him out there now like in the algorithm sometimes on different podcasts like stand-up so it'd be good to like talk to him like what i do i'm i had to do something to him like i don't know if he feed you for me and i was cold that day. I have no idea, but the way he did on that podcast...
Starting point is 00:52:26 What if you took a black girlfriend that he had? Who could have? That's true, too. Maybe. Because you never know, man. Sometimes these motherfuckers hate you because you remind them of somebody that... You know what I'm saying? Like... Funny. I didn't do that.
Starting point is 00:52:41 I didn't think about that. I'm like this. Huh. It could be it. Be careful out here, man. That's what the weed do. He'll give you a quick little therapy. Yeah. You just got to be around it. I'm starting to get second-hand smoke high.
Starting point is 00:52:54 I'm not going to lie. You guys got any free dose? Yeah. Let me bring some chips over there. No, we're good. I got to go in a minute anyways. Oh, yeah. You got to drive, bro.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Let's talk about the new shit. The new special. Oh, yeah, it's on YouTube. Let's go. Okay. It's called no S. Yeah. I see you been doing the crowd work, too.
Starting point is 00:53:10 You've been working in the audience. Well, here's the thing. I think we've all done crowd work, right? Yeah, but I just finally bit the bullet and said, I got a full-time camera guy now always what we made got a full-time editor and we just filmed the shows and sometimes it looks like crowd work but it's really not like the one that hit last month the paper straws one where the guy security guy was there and i was imitating like four people was at the baltimore county fact
Starting point is 00:53:37 that was back in february yeah that wasn't necessarily crowd work i got interrupted like they were had such a heated discussion i go what's going on right now and so it wasn't like i was up there about to do crowd work right but that's where it comes up yeah there is crowd work but it's also So, like, things just happen, you know, on stage. Your audience fights. Yeah. Mine just argues over straws. Yeah, because, see, my audience.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Yeah, your argument would turn to a fight. Sometimes they get so excited and they get fucked up too fast. Like, they'd be fucked up. Like, earlier that day, they had smoked, like, three blunts. They didn't drunk like a whole Don Julio. Now they had to show fucked up way earlier. Yeah. Then they usually be fucked up.
Starting point is 00:54:21 And that's, you know, like kids get sleeping, they need a nap. Yeah. Same thing happened with grown people, as opposed to saying, hey, I need to lay down. I'm cranky. They just thar shit. So I'm going to say that next time. If there is a time when somebody starts a fight in my show, hey, this ain't no Carlos Miller show?
Starting point is 00:54:38 What the fuck y'all doing right now? That's crazy. You hella whack. And then when they don't fight, I'm going to be like, man, y'all acting like Gary O's in this bitch. With the edge. You're talking it out. Get your Adlai Owens in there.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Man, y'all knock the shit out. I bet you woe. Here are the ones. You don't know what I did. No, but the latest specials on YouTube is called no S. We just went over a million. That's what's up, man. Yeah, come on, man.
Starting point is 00:55:11 Especially when they tried to say it was all short-form stuff. They tried to make us that comedy was going to die. But you're trying to make it seem like, bro, you ain't you. We give you your. We give you your flowers all the time, bro. You're cold on that mic, man. I appreciate it. And then for you to really be that humble and not be an actor is crazy, man.
Starting point is 00:55:28 Yeah. A hour ain't shit to you. We're not saying you rip all the stages, man. And all the... I'm very consistent with the work, Gary. I appreciate it. All the Comic View comedians, my grandma used to let me watch Comic View with her. So it's like a special place for the host and stuff because...
Starting point is 00:55:46 Yeah. You might have been the one white person she fucked with. Yeah. So I think I'm the only white on-air personality ever. Like, I had the reality show on BET, then I got the host of Comedy View. People are like, you're the first white host of Comedy View. I said, well, I was the only White House of Comedy View.
Starting point is 00:56:02 Yeah. And then it's funny, I would go out like eight, nine years ago to pitch a reality show and BET bought it in the room. And then I was like, dang, out of all the networks we went to, BETT bought that shit. Oh, man, I didn't tell them what the fuck you was about to say. Beetting about that shit. You said, all the networks are like,
Starting point is 00:56:19 Shit. You think he got this far about being sloppy? Oh, my God. I'm not I get this blood too close. Oh, no, what is in that weed? All the big is in that room. What the fuck, man?
Starting point is 00:56:33 I throw it away right here. This is not what you throw it away in. I'm going to be like a birdman. I got to edit this. I need the footage. I got to edit all this out. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This didn't happen today, guys.
Starting point is 00:56:47 This is not. I promise you for like. a second, I was like, what the fuck is he doing? Oh, you cling that shit up, Gary. Yeah, networks. Networks. Yeah. There was a lot of networks in VET. A lot of networks going on
Starting point is 00:57:01 in this motherfucker, man. It's kind of like we're at now. This is a network. Yeah, this is a network. Yeah, this is a network. And, man, Trump got everybody on his. You're stupid.
Starting point is 00:57:16 I got to bounce, guys. Yeah, right. This was a mini but mighty show. I'm glad I got to do it. I'm glad you guys came in on your day off. If you're mad that the episode ain't longer, you blame Atlanta traffic. It's all my fault.
Starting point is 00:57:28 It took me a fucking hour to get here in traffic. How long have you lived in Atlanta? That's why we don't shoot around this time. You know that. 20 years. Like, did traffic just hit you today? No, but every time we have to shoot early,
Starting point is 00:57:45 it always get fucked because I got to come from all the way on the other side to this side it's already far I'm gonna tell you what I told first time with the London and I had
Starting point is 00:57:56 the the opener that did the bitch move on me and I had the same one at me I didn't do it the same guy that the same guy that likes white girls in Oklahoma City was there they got the London
Starting point is 00:58:09 the night before me it's about an eight hour flight from Cincinnati to London they're out partying because the time change I said hey I'm about to take off I said listen have fun tonight party, what are you going to do? I said my flight lands
Starting point is 00:58:20 is six. One of you need to be at the airport when I get there. I've never been to a lot of. And I'm, I'm paying for the trip, right? So I was like this. One of you just be there. Yeah. Both of them. Neither one was there. I'm talking. It got to about noon I ain't heard from these motherfuckers yet. So I was at the hotel.
Starting point is 00:58:37 They was at a different hotel because I had us at the nice shit. They was at the not so nice shit. They start calling me a noon. Like, where are you at? I told the front day, I said, I'm not here. Don't let. them check in, nothing. So I come down in lobby, the little gym
Starting point is 00:58:52 was right next to the lobby. They were all standing there looking at me. I walk by them like this. I'm on a little lytical. They was at the glass looking. I think I was on linoical for two hours. There's a little bit of sitting there. This is why I told him.
Starting point is 00:59:05 I said, look, if somebody told you there was a million dollars at London's airport, just be there 60 to pick it up. You would have not have overslept. Right. I was like, treat me like I'm a million dollars. Right, right. So.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Oh, you ain't shit to me. No, I'm doing it. All right. I got a balance. No, you got to drive. You got a hour and a half. Hey, damn, gal. I get it.
Starting point is 00:59:34 All right. I get it. You know, like, white people like to be on time. We do. I was here early. I think I got here a three. But I ain't going to let you. I was like, oh, I ain't going to let you leave until I give you a gift, man.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Oh, that's a tough. talking about. I can't wait. I love gifts. It's a big shit, too. Now you swag. Oh, it's the hoodie. You swag now.
Starting point is 00:59:56 This is going to be awesome in 95-degree weather this weekend. No, you don't wear it this weekend, but you do live in Ohio sometimes. Oh, this is a whole sweatsuit with socks. Yeah. Absolutely. Thank you.
