Starting point is 00:02:21 A lot of shit, man. A lot of shit, man. That's some good shit. Yeah, man. We got he cooked on hill like drink chips. Sitting there riding the head in junior shit No, I don't know Oh yeah, I didn't do that
Starting point is 00:02:33 Ran over the police officer Oh yeah Allegiance Allegiance, my bad Allegiance, my bad They had looked like he had And he looked like he had And he walked out
Starting point is 00:02:41 That was some powerful shit Yeah, yeah, that was some powerful shit Yeah, yeah I seen somebody had did like a A drunk painting Of that shit But the crazy part about it Allegedly
Starting point is 00:02:53 I told for I said Mornfall and I ain't met Nobody who's willing to take it Like, to the next level, like, oh, shit. That's the new who lost his mind. Stay no more. He's got my green lighter. Yeah, you do.
Starting point is 00:03:04 What is that? You got some way. You had a left. He ain't tripping about spending life. He's a big letter. He's a big ladder. He's lost something for the rest of his life. He already made up his mind.
Starting point is 00:03:12 What the son that did? What the son did? I didn't know what the son got killed him. You see what I'm about the police? By the police, yeah. What did he do? What did he do? He was being black.
Starting point is 00:03:21 What that mean? He ran from the police. From doing what? Why he run? See, this was, they said that, I don't know. Imagine how many time you were in, man. You too on that? I'm doing shit.
Starting point is 00:03:29 I'm doing shit. They said, allegedly that he had fell for hanging on some car payments of the people who got the car from. Oh, they don't deserve him. Said the car was stolen and then the police jumped out on him. But they're supposed to have been like some undercover police and some police. Right. But they're trying to, now they're trying to say it was the undercover police with the front plane clothes on. They shot the butt.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Yeah, yeah. So even if he did point the gun down. That's all that. He didn't know that was the police. Yeah. Hey, man. You didn't identify yourself. And you met a motherfucker that's willing to take it for like how you, you don't took a life from him.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Now his life is different. And then it's, yeah, that people are like, The person, I don't care about that old Chang game, man. So that would have made it different if it's, oh, for Jake, ain't going to take it out. Yeah, you'd be like, cool. Well, he definitely isn't going to the Tang Gang. That's level one, too, shit. Then he's going to go to maximum security of murder.
Starting point is 00:04:17 What fit? No, somewhere where he's going to be behind the wall with, uh, behind small walls, 23-hour lockdown. Yeah, some shit like that. The chain gang is really for, you know, that's... That's for the state. You know, you're a low custody. You might have drug charged.
Starting point is 00:04:31 You know, when you murder and you can gang shit and you're fighting in jail. Oh, you're gladiated. We send you to maximum security, man. There ain't a whole lot of outside and shit. You ain't a whole lot of outside. 23-on-1. No, man, they might get a little rectangle. You might get this point.
Starting point is 00:04:43 You might be 23-1. And, man, then they have some drunk when niggas doing like, well, they're going to go on the yard and shit. Right. But those type of institutions is, like, ain't a whole lot of the plan of that. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:04:54 Because niggas will kill you. You know what I'm saying? They don't got no, you know what I'm saying? They got life. But they've been, though, you know, everybody, those type of institutions, niggas is like the- Explaining-ass, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:05:04 Hold on, why do you want to be explained? Snatching ass and ass. You know, that shit, that's-knashing the fucking ass, man. No, snatching-n-ass. Well, hold on, might be something different. Snash-n-nats, man, he's snatching it. No. You really don't want no smoke,
Starting point is 00:05:19 but you put an ass like, you go like that. See, yeah, see, it's different than what you thought. Yeah, that was. He wasn't talking about rape. Nick, you snatching, my nigga. Like, the niggas, I'm gonna say, how whoopin' guy, you mess with that, Nick, you're gonna do nothing. Cut, cut it off, a nigga, kill you me.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Okay, that's just like how flexing used to be bad, but now flexing is good. You're like, well, that d'all was flexing. You know, flexing. You're gonna be flexing. That I was saying, snatching. That I was saying, snatching that. See?
Starting point is 00:05:43 You get in the name. You're gonna do nothing. Like, nigga, you ain't gonna do nothing. Now, you got, I got it. I'd be like, oh, I'm gonna snatching. That's why I said. He said, there ain't a whole lot of snagging and stuff like snatching ass. Man, he said, all right, we get to sit a dick in the basketball court.
Starting point is 00:06:01 And then he said, man, don't worry, but that he ain't going to do nothing. I'm worried about that. You're going to defend him, you're going to defend him. You're going to defend him. You said, he's doing what? What are the next to him? You said, man, he's snatching nash. He's going to do something.
Starting point is 00:06:13 He's snags, man, man. He's going to do something. I ain't saying, no one. You check him. You check him. Why? He's checking his, man. I'm going to play baseball.
Starting point is 00:06:19 No, but the way that you're going to know it don't mean that. Fuck this game. I think when you said it like that, I feel like that you mean it. If a niggas say this, hey, that niggins snatching ass, I don't know what I'm going to do nothing. But in jail, and snatching that ass is no uncle way around. If you say he's lying, I'm going to be like, why the fuck he just ain't saying? You can't tell me he lied. Don't be like that nancy nags.
Starting point is 00:06:42 I'm going to stay away from this niggins. No, but it ain't. It ain't. It ain't lying. It ain't lying. He's just lying. You're lying that nack. You know it.
Starting point is 00:06:50 That ain't. You're gonna be lying. I don't snatched though. You're gonna'all. I don't know. I do be lying. You snatched out. You snatched out.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Nah, damn. Y'all get the contact. That's my ass knack. That's lying. Snashing ass. You're acting like you're a nigg that's a gruffling. Like, you're a nigga thing he's going to do something. So you pump faking.
Starting point is 00:07:08 You pump faking, yeah. So just say woofing. Yeah. Snack your ass is crazy. So even if a nigger and be like, nigga, you snatching their head. You're like, hey, wait a minute. That's the wrong title.
Starting point is 00:07:17 No, nigger. I just told me shit. I'm a nigga that lie. I'm just saying something I want to. Don't put that on my name around. I'm just saying something I won't do. Because when that shit go on the phone call and to the real world. They don't put the ad.
Starting point is 00:07:29 They just say snatched a niggling. They said, they see how y'all doing? They're going to leave the ass part off. They should. Old nigg was an old nigger. It was an old nigger termina. It was a old nigger.
Starting point is 00:07:39 So once the nigger get that message and he'd get back home, he'd be like, man. They say, oh, man. That's a hell man. Yeah. Nave you. Yeah. Because he were lying out of him,
Starting point is 00:07:48 But the nigger went in that snatching ass. I told him to watch his ass when he's going to. All that line were going to get this shit too. And then when he snagged and getting beat up, y'all was going to see. That what happened to him? He's down there snatching nap. You know, the whole time he's pumped and he whipped his ass. He's trying to rape his nigger in that.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Oh, see, we don't know that terminology, man. It's the only enrichment terminology. You'll hear that nowhere. It was certain cities had their own time. But see, that's just like New Orleans say bitch, right? I remember when bitch started to get cool in Georgia. I remember. I remember.
Starting point is 00:08:18 starting saying, bitch. I was like, hey, man. They said that in Northwood. Why are we adopting this fuckery? We don't pay what's up, bitch, to niggas. They be like, why, bitch, a nigger, what's on? That ain't the one.
Starting point is 00:08:29 That ain't the one. They said that. Niggas and be so cool. They said, what's up, bitch? I can't do it. They ain't talking to live. What? These niggas is dead going on.
Starting point is 00:08:36 What? I bet. Uh-uh, hold on, homie. That nink Kevin Gate, but he's like, I loo you dumb-ass bitch. I was like, I love you too, bitch. I love you too, bitch. Right back at the business.
Starting point is 00:08:46 I didn't know if it was a, we're going to be fighting or what? He was like, ah. You never know what that, dude. I was like, oh, you love, that one's up. You never know what that man. Damn, bud, nigger snatching it ass. It's snatching ass, bitch ass, snatting ass, and all that shit meant something different.
Starting point is 00:09:00 How long you did? I did a five-year bid, a two-year bill, did 18 months. I did a couple bits here in there. A couple months, nah, that's almost like 10 years together. I said 18 months. I know, but together, that's five, two, seven, 18, that's eight and eight and a half. I did a bit.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Almost a dime. I piece it together, though. Some nigga doing that's great. My cousin, he did a nine scrape. You don't matter how you do it, Jay Skee. You did a dime, guys. I feel like you would rather have to do that straight and then keep going in and out.
Starting point is 00:09:27 Now what I'm saying, you don't try to go to jail. You're out there selling drugs. You're doing stuff. Oh, yeah, more definitely. But then, you know, it's different state, different laws. Oh, I see that possession with the tent charges. Different state, different law, too, now. Yeah, but in every state, what I got caught with,
Starting point is 00:09:40 I'm going to jail, some type of way. Every state. Where I go. The shit I had is not leaving no state. You're for well, man. And in some countries, you're going to die. Yeah, I'm dead. Damn.
Starting point is 00:09:54 I learned my list, though. Four grams. Yeah, you know, some little hard head, they keep going back. Watch this time. I'm going to do it right this time. Oh. God, remember when you did your last little bit.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Yeah, then that's your last bit. Yeah, about, every guy. Oh, my God. We're like, say, come on, man. That thing's so strong. Oh, man, see, once I got all and started doing conversation, everything, started doing good, you know what I'm saying? I was left that alone, right?
Starting point is 00:10:21 But you still have that type of mentality. Like, I'm on papers, right? I know it's so crazy. I tell the wisdom native joke, but this was really happened. Right. And the wizard nature, right, not the judge, it's really happened. So I'm on papers, you know what I'm saying? You know, I travel with Duval.
Starting point is 00:10:34 My PO, she's a fan. All of them love me down there, you know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? So they gave me another PO, right? This nigga just started doing PO, When he gets you, you are no problem. So I'm blowing, blowing, blowing, blowing, you know what I'm saying? Because when they're out of the blue, they just pissed me, right?
Starting point is 00:10:52 So now they got me take, when you're pissing dirty, they got me taking the fucking weed class. Right, right. Now I've been blowing for like six months. Right. You just can't, you're not going to stop automatically, right now. You need to say, ah, stop smoking right now. Right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:11:05 But I'm blowing, right? You know, I'm blowing, right? So they said, this comes to me every 90 days. So what I do is, okay, the first 90 days, it was cool. I wait, I smoke goddamn 8 to 3,000. two days, stop for eight days, get clean. Then it went from 90 days. All right, come see me every 60 days.
Starting point is 00:11:21 Okay. My stop, you know what I'm saying? And that, them eight days got getting short. I went from eight days, then one day, then one from four day to two days to one, to one day, one day, to one, one day, he won't pay just like me. I'm like, man, how the fuck, nigger, you pissing? He said, I got the whistle nail.
Starting point is 00:11:36 I said, what the fuck at that? And she said, fake dick, come up clean. I said, damn, he said, you use mine. I said, I'm not, no, I'm not. Look at you, my own. I offered you a dick. But what he told me, but this is the key to him, what he told me is this.
Starting point is 00:11:51 When he told me is this, he said, man, you got to practice with this joint. Oh, that down. I heard this story 10 times. I never heard that point. You, I'm telling you the real story, this is the real uncut story. You got to, I tell it as a comedy joke,
Starting point is 00:12:03 but this is the real story. He said, you got to practice with this joint, man. Right. Because with the wizard name, it's a fake thing. Like, you got to strap the joint on, strapped around, you put the prison in there. When you put the prison in there, When you pull the head out, you pull to squeeze the head so the piss can come out.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Right. You say, practice. I'm not, I'm telling you something. I'm not a practice in there. I'm a gang time. Right, right. With the light. Yeah, when the light is bright, that's when I do my time.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Right, right. Now, I'm lying to my wife. My wife said, I do all this, I ain't doing, I ain't doing, I ain't doing nothing. That shit. You take me long. And then when sometimes you're married, you been in a long relationship, you hate for your old lady to be ripe. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:35 And the bitch knows me. She's like, you all they're doing. So, I ain't going. No, you're just tired. Boom. Go to piss one day, you know what I said? I got me the weed class. I'm pissing and they say, okay, give me two clean urine.
Starting point is 00:12:44 You can go. I'll go down to the worst day. Going that, motherfucker. Then we went to the bathroom. They got the two-way married. They see you. It's like, I'm going out. I'm nervous a motherfucker.
Starting point is 00:12:52 I pull the joint out. Boom. I'm squeating the head. I never practice with it. Never practice. I don't know if my fuck. Ain't, oh, there, ain't nothing. There ain't nothing.
Starting point is 00:13:07 Ain't nothing caught up. So all of a sudden, a little bit, a little bit came out. But I was in there so long from, I said, I better get out of here. So I little bit got in that zone. So now I put the cup on the zone, put in that big, go on leave. Right. I'm saying? I got to come back and like the next week, I don't get no call.
Starting point is 00:13:28 And that that's stupid nigga thing. Right. I'm back in that week to swoop with my last junk. I'm in a naked. I really, really told him myself, I'm nervous. and that motherfucker on that they said, who won't place where?
Starting point is 00:13:38 I'll go for them and go to get this over I don't need but one more and say I go ahead I go on that motherfucker once again
Starting point is 00:13:42 try to pull that mouth out they own me now yeah they own me they're on me they're hey put your
Starting point is 00:13:47 pack down because you got device on you I said huh I'm saying that motherfucker
Starting point is 00:13:52 dog digger they were just like a barber dog dog dog dog man and they say
Starting point is 00:13:56 pull your man put your what's what's what's the man the bathroom I didn't even
Starting point is 00:14:01 know they had a microphone in their what the fuck What are you talking about? What's something? Damn, man. Put your paint that.
Starting point is 00:14:07 We think you got a device. I said, I'm trying to pull everything down. I'm trying to take, I'm trying to pull the draw, everything down, like the strap. But it's dropped on tight. Yeah. And put it down and it's right to everything. I'm just stupid. And then what's so made it even worse, this black, this black were fine.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Like, man, they look good, man. She was the head, um, peolated. Big fan of mine. We got the shoulders with him, man. She came there. I have never felt so small and so humiliated in my entire dog. in my entire dog. Like, this lady came in there and looked at me.
Starting point is 00:14:35 I feel like my grandson was like, hey, you catch a kid doing it. She said, I know you fucking lie. That made you feel worse than having a fake dick on you? No, just that's like, what am I doing? I'm sitting there. I got the thing on me. My pain's down. The police in there.
Starting point is 00:14:53 The police ain't calling you, the lady right there. The other side of the street right there. Right there's on you, guy. She's like, I know you fucking lying. I can't, don't you guys show the what? She said, what is, she said, she said, I need that a nigga with his brother. She said, so now I'm sitting there.
Starting point is 00:15:11 I said, son, I said, the first thing I think I say, I'm going to jail lane. She said, oh yeah, you're definitely going to jail. She said, go on, she said, go on there. She said, go on there, tell your wife. Well, that was, didn't I mean lying this woman? And she been calling me out on it. And also, the other crazy part,
Starting point is 00:15:29 when we're riding down and in the car, we quiet. When we went to one for a long time, I'm telling you, boy, they recognize your laugh face. They recognize, if you've been with her for 10 years or better, and some you didn't did, and told a lie,
Starting point is 00:15:40 and they always know, because every time she always caught me on, yeah, I'm probably with a bitch. I was like, man, I'm going to all in California. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:15:47 You know what I'm saying? So we ride down there, we're in the car quiet. And she just bust out and say some shit like this. Hey, Steve, we don't care of you. Huh? No, that's a joke.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Okay. But she said, we're a comedian. But she said, she say, um, she said, I hope you're going to go in that dude now and stupid. And in my mouth, I'm like, how the bitch know what I'm going to go in and do this?
Starting point is 00:16:04 I found the fake dick at the hell. She's been saying the dick. And the only thing I'm thinking that I see, definitely in my car, she's locked in, she's got to keep the team, she never seen that job. Oh, I'm talking about, when you got to call it to P.O. How you had to grab it off the float and walk outside with it?
Starting point is 00:16:22 Like in your hair, like you do you? No, no, they said, give it here. So they do it, they come to me. I got the jump. I got to jump around my, You know what I got to take the jail off and get to him and shit. And go out of that and go out there and tell my wife. She said, what the fuck going on? He got a little.
Starting point is 00:16:39 I said, man, I'm going to go to jail. She said, for what? They all there with the junk. Yeah, he had this right here. Like that. Oh, they bought a dick outside. The fuck. They bought a dick to your wife.
Starting point is 00:16:50 Look at what he did. But they ain't shit, boy. And then, and then the Jones, the news through the city, it's spread so fast. Yeah. It's spread so fat. Everybody there. They say, man, what I'm doing is, they say, man, you tried.
Starting point is 00:17:02 That's all right. Everybody's just don't even work. I said, ain't about it. I ain't about it. You said, I ain't practiced. That's how you do, boy, man. Yeah, I ain't practiced. The nigga told me, man.
Starting point is 00:17:11 That's no practice, nigga, man. You're supposed to go in one more time, that's all. Yeah, I'll put that last little bit. I got your best to me. Then went in the bed. Then I go in a bit and then I was supposed to get straight out. Right. But the nigga that violated,
Starting point is 00:17:28 he never violated nobody. before in his life. Right. I'm, he, but he busts, he, I'm gonna, he buss a cherry with me. So he don't know, my, my case is in Chesterfield, but my address is in Henrico, so my PO's in Henrikos. When he violated me, he was going to send it to Chesafield. He got my paperwork, so I didn't understand in jail, like, down there two months.
Starting point is 00:17:46 And one thing, yeah, when I go to jail, just the first time I've been in jail, when I ain't really had no real, serious case, the most they can do, which would have hurt me at the time, and probably, like, a year and some change. That's like, that, that would have never devastated, you know what I'm like, oh my God, I'm like, you know, this bitch. But once you realize, okay, you ain't anybody, yeah, I'm cool with that. You're in there with niggins. And they're coming there with dope cases, nigger.
Starting point is 00:18:05 Facing nine, nigger, nigger coming up in a business. I'd be glad if they get me nine. I'd say, damn, he'd be glad if they get them nine. All right. Fuck them out, weird. I'd be glad. I'd be mad. I'll be, man, you want to play some chance or something?
Starting point is 00:18:22 Shit. Be glad, nigger. So we're getting in that zone. I've been in that junk like a month. I'm feeding now. So I got a couple of young nails coming and jumped. You know what I'm saying? So my homie come on.
Starting point is 00:18:34 He was like, what's up, boy? He said, man, I said, look at my cellar. He's been hitting him. The nigga late. You know what I'm saying? They're selling cigarettes, weed and all that shit. I was saying, so my cellar said, man, got the dome. I said, I didn't smoke.
Starting point is 00:18:46 So the next, I don't smoke. So the next day we go in, they lock you down at like, 11 o'clock. We're in the cell. I said, fuck, I'm going to smoke. I'm going to roll it. I said, you want to roll it big. I said, you won't roll that big,
Starting point is 00:18:57 so he wrote little shit. You got a little shit. So you wait for the police to do this round. They do a round like every 30 man. They do this round. Boom. Boom. First and 12.
Starting point is 00:19:07 We smile. We smile. We smell. That we know that motherfucking dope pop. And pop. I'm like, I know this is not happening. Yeah. Exactly, niggie.
Starting point is 00:19:17 They don't ran that where it's at? Yeah. We smell it. So now I'm in the hole. And I already did the math. He told now I'm in the hole. I already did the math in my motherfucking head. I said, when you do that weed class, you know,
Starting point is 00:19:28 People say we can't stand your system 30 days, but it really don't. It's 45. Right. I didn't matter. I've been locked up 34 days. Right. I even told him to hear from here, I said, I'm turning now. They come in here, honestly, I'm already dirty.
Starting point is 00:19:39 Yeah. You've been here nine months. They've been here 34 days. That will still be dirty. Right. And show each of that she'll happen. Right. And I didn't know what I was going to be in, man.
Starting point is 00:19:48 He said, well, you pissed the dirty. Man, I'll be here 34 days. Fort and five. Right, right. Talked your ass off. Right. You know what I was saying. But then I was in the hole for a while.
Starting point is 00:19:58 And then, you know what I'm saying? So I didn't want to take my wife there so you ain't want to take my wife there. Yeah, you can't, you can't call, you know what I'm saying? So, God damn, I finally get a tanked to call. I'm calling it every night's called my fucking you can't call me. And it's only, I laugh, you know what I'm saying? The head did motherfucker lock down.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Yeah, no, I said, yeah, no, I mean, I got the rummling in this bitch. Yeah, I had to slap you, dude. Yeah, I had to slap you, dude. Yeah, that's nasty. Yeah. Man, to snap, see that thing, he's trying to smash my arm. That's how you're doing. I'm in that front of him.
Starting point is 00:20:34 You got to get that point of it. You don't believe in this. Look, I didn't want to hear this. I know God damn well, you ain't in there. Nigger be so careful, but they'd be scared of they're warming, boy. You got to be. Because you don't want to hear how dumb you did. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:47 You didn't want to hear the stupidest thing you ever did. That was the stupidest thing. I'm all in there for Violet, and you can hear. How long how long even get old? Even the COs. I just did 18 months that jump. That one to do. bought me the car, he came to that jail right there.
Starting point is 00:20:59 They followed me on Instagram and all. And when I came back there in that jail, that was the first time my life were going to jail that I felt like, so am. I went down there, John. They said, I'm sitting in an intake. Man, the lady came around. She said, hey, hey, Cap, hey, hey, Cam, Sam,
Starting point is 00:21:12 look, look at him, look at him. All the C-O, they're like, dick, look at it. Man, you back my nigga for a week. You're a drug at it. Man, I felt so stupid. I already knew that. I'm going to tripping on that. To put out, I was tripping off.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Look, every one of y' y'all got. Man, man, get off paper, my table, nigga. He said, every one of y'all. How long you're doing all? With my green lighter go? All right. Like 10 days, I'm like, they put you back in pop. Because what happened, well, they didn't find the weeds
Starting point is 00:21:38 so they couldn't charge us. They just smelled this stuff. I was definitely saying, like, when a nigga be smoking in jail, I'd be like, the guards smell this shit. They either just don't give a fuck or they Kevin. No, niggas think they. And y'all don't even fuck about the shake down. No, no niggas do?
Starting point is 00:21:50 What? Niggins don't even realize, this is, like, right. Well, let's say you in the jail, there's no fucking smoking in there. Right. So, niggas blow this weed in the toilet, and broke baby, they had living in a seat with baby powder. Blowing a bit and think that's gonna kill a smell.
Starting point is 00:22:03 Nick, why have had that bit? Shit, man, pop's there, nah. Yeah. This n'n't smoke. What are you talking about? I'm just ain't shitting. That's got a strong-ass smell, bro. You just don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Like, that, that bridge, they don't give a damn. Now, when you go to the majors, I was talking about, like, a lot of them still, let them niggers do their time. Because you got niggins are doing life and all that shit. You ain't finning. Who here smoking weed? You're like, bitch, I got life. All right, cool.
Starting point is 00:22:26 You niggas, you niggas, you niggas, right, right. Nick, that he let me do smoke in a little refo. Yeah, you keep fucking that man, man, kill your ass. That's stupid. I first started doing comedy, did that shit on the cruise. Had to stand in the suite with another, uh, he was a spoken word, nigga, but he had been locked up and shit. He was like, we were going to smoke, but he would take toilet paper and twist that shit, like real, real tight and burning. And it would be, like, instant.
Starting point is 00:22:52 It would have to be smelling like burnt paper, you know, shit. But no way, though, I'm going to tell what else niggas do, too. Bigger of burn popcorn in the microwave. Yeah. That's just strong as what. It is. Burn popcorn strong. But, well, that's a, that's a bad thing.
Starting point is 00:23:03 But I don't get for how to burn the popcorn. That's it. It's some weed and bird popcorn in there. Because that's huge. They don't make no whole lot of money. They might make them $40,000 a year. So you're talking about a nigga that come to the same environment that you come from.
Starting point is 00:23:15 They know the fucking weed smell like. Right. I had this, like, overwhelming sensation that I had to call it right then. And I just hit call. you know, hey, I'm Jacob Schick, I'm the CEO of One Tribe Foundation, and I just wanted to call on and let her know there's a lot of people battling some of the very same things you're battling. And there is help out there.

Hi, it's Jemisbeg, host of the Psychology of your 20s. Remember when you used to have Science Week at school? Well, if you loved that, how would you feel about a full psychology month?
Starting point is 00:26:38 This September, the Psychology of Your 20s, we're breaking down the interesting ways psychology applies to real life, like how our pets actually change our brain chemistry, the psychology of office politics, whether happiness is even a real emotion. and my favorite episode, why do we all secretly crave external validation? It's so interesting to me that we are so quick to believe others' judgments of us and not our own.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I found a study that said, not being liked actually creates similar levels of pain as physical pain. Like, no wonder we care so much. So the secret is, if you want to be okay with not being liked, you have to know why your brain craves it in the first place. Learn more about the psychology of external validation everyday life
Starting point is 00:27:24 and of course your 20s this September listen to the psychology of your 20s on the IHeart radio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get
Starting point is 00:27:31 your podcasts but someone I can like you gotta know your shit you might have some shit we can blow on this on he might be a fuck
Starting point is 00:27:40 long as you ain't fighting the gam or stabbing no knick you know what I'm saying I don't know man fuck don't nobody want to go
Starting point is 00:27:46 a nigga get caught doing shit I know there's some nigga want to go in there I'm standing no they do say some nigga live
Starting point is 00:27:53 No, I ain't going to lie to see this one I realized, like, for real, for real, nigga, the most I ever did for 30 one day. But it was for the least amount of shit I've ever done in my life. You see what I'm saying? So I had them got put up on game like, damn, bro. Once you cross county lines, state lines, city lines, if you don't know the law, if you know the law you're breaking, then if something happened, then you just got to take that on the chin.
Starting point is 00:28:21 But when you get down there and you start, piece of shit together as you go, you're like, what? You're like, hold on, I ain't got no bun. In Atlanta, they get your bun. You ain't in Atlanta. You know what this four grounds do? Yeah, law and a year. Yeah, this shit is a month and a half per ground.
Starting point is 00:28:38 You're lucky it will fold. See, I was getting caught with, I was getting caught with sacks. I want to get, I get caught shit is bagged up all right. That's intent. Yeah, so that's possession with intent. So now that man you would have been worse down nothing. That's the case you don't want. means you are a drug dealer.
Starting point is 00:28:54 Don't know. Don't have you no motherfucking two, three hundred dollars in your pocket. You might have just got that from a check from working. Oh, you got, oh, you got 12 times and a hundred and $180. Oh, no, you're selling drugs. They don't even know you in the hole. Down by third child. Possession of Maryland winning 10. But I was on the wrong place at the wrong time in the wrong area.
Starting point is 00:29:14 So the charges was like doubled. You came here to sell some drugs. No, I got a lot of been school with. Oh, yeah, you're in school ground. That's double. Like, what? So I'm thinking, I think I was across the street possession. They're like, nah, this one I learned.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Like, no, you don't even know what laws you. You don't even know what, what? You don't even know what rules you break. Let me show you. Breaking this one. That one. I'm like, I'm just. He's got some weed.
Starting point is 00:29:40 I just got weed for real. I'm thinking I'm the weed man to my friend. He's like, no, nigger. You between 50 feet of a school zone. All that shit. You in the school zone, no drug zone. You, nigger, all this shit. by 55.
Starting point is 00:29:55 This is your first offender, so it ain't you in Atlanta. So I'm gonna need for you to baby glazed and then Paulton County. Nigger. And then once you get a jacket, see your first offense, they slapped you on the wrist
Starting point is 00:30:08 that first, you know what I'm saying? They might be. But then you get another one, you get another projection on the tent of number. The lawyer feeds go up and their time go up. That's when you got like a crackhead.
Starting point is 00:30:18 That shit. When you get caught again when you said, you be like, man, what do you? Yes, sir. I said you're going to smoke a hundred and a half a gram. Now I have to smoke my shit. You got a hundred and a half a grand than $2,000 in cash.
Starting point is 00:30:34 I got caught with sex three times after that. I hate to play a crackhead three. Played crackhead three. He said, this 30 sex, I said, that let me know how many times I'm going to smoke. 30 times. Once a day, four months. I like my mind.
Starting point is 00:30:52 It's for my money. It's me. They'll be saved. I need one night. I'll smoke it off and ain't stacked up. I need it. He's like, man. You can't, because they can't say that you're lying if you, if you're an addict.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Well, they can, they ain't, they ain't, sometimes they depend on what you got on you. Like, the judge ain't going to go for that. You know what I'm saying? The judge is going to, because you got some of the addict that's getting caught, like you would be the only addict out of 1,000 addicts that had 100, half of grounds on you. I'm going to be real. I'm going to be real. And then, and I'm saying, whatever you get caught with, right?
Starting point is 00:31:24 You're wasting your time to fuck with me. No, say, say, say, okay, you got 10 dine. You said, I'm smoking crack. Let's say, piss him. You got no crack in your system. When you smoke it at? I was selling weed. Yeah, okay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:36 So I was smoking what I was using. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? But weed, that was like, I'm saying, I ain't ever sold weed. I sold all the shit. Yeah, I couldn't do it. Well, I did it, but weed was the best. I mean, it's really just being lazy and doing everything to everybody else doing it. And then you see a nigger can batts my shoes
Starting point is 00:31:53 and a hole won't fuck you. And you know what I'm saying? You just get caught up and you're young and you don't know that. You just got to learn from your mistake, though, for real. All that. That was, I said, I'm blessed. I'm grateful.
Starting point is 00:32:03 I'm grateful. Fuck that. I learned. But shit, I ain't worried. Even if a nigga was to get, which a whole lot of niggas don't, a whole lot of niggins a dollar. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Let's say somebody tell you right now, man, we'll give you $10 million. But after three years, you're going to jail for 30. Right. Man, hell now, let me scramble. I'd rather scramble. then do that. I understand that.
Starting point is 00:32:22 But they don't see it like that. That's like fighting. If you know when you go in there, you got your hell-wook, that mean you somehow. So the next fight, you're going to know not to do that. This thing like niggins, like you just can't whip this nigger. I can't whop them. Why I keep trying?
Starting point is 00:32:38 It's something you're doing that's getting your ass whoop. Yeah, you can't wop her. Some niggins you can't wop them. It's the principal. When you put yourself in the mind that you can't wop them, you ain't going to whop them. I'm saying, you're not going to walk the streets, that what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Underfeited, you're not going. There's some niggas to get chances to, but that could be your chance where it'd be like, all right, the fight wasn't a tie. You see what I'm saying? I ain't tied to streets. Because at the end of the day, I don't lose and you don't lose. There was a lesson learned. You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:33:09 Something that happened required me to go two days in jail. I learned for my two days versus another nigger who got caught. He got to do 20. I was just talking about the concept of the streets. ain't gonna, ain't gonna, you ain't gonna never beat the streets, and a nigger gonna still try as hang doing it, no matter if you know you can't whop them. Like, it's a nigga that you know you can't work.
Starting point is 00:33:28 I'm gonna fuck them. I'm gonna fuck them. Yeah. And that's what the street says, you're not gonna beat them. You go out there, you might get a couple of licks ain't on them, look good doing it. That's cuz don't know a nigga never plan to lead the streets.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Right, yeah, they make a career out of. But it ain't no plan. You see what I'm saying? Like, I know a lot of niggas, like, they in the street. Like, if you sit and just observe, right, I can sit right now and go on the block and be like, damn, young guy's got sick, man's in their pocket. Shotta got four.
Starting point is 00:33:54 Cause shot her right, that guy, about 35 hundred. In my head, I remember at a stage where niggas was wanting to get money. In my head, that's good money. In my head, you have did something successfully, but you don't have a plan, like you said, to expect, or you don't have a plan to even do nothing with it. So a nigger get caught up in the moment.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I need knowing like, damn, I had plenty times to exit the street or have plans to have me sit up where I look like I ain't in the street. If you really sat and calculated when you had a ledger, ledger, understand? You don't know how much you calculate and know what going on. Do you realize, damn, what in the... But niggas ain't doing that, man. I don't ran through 400,000. Yeah, one of the thing, too, though, like, sometimes, a lot of times it'd be like,
Starting point is 00:34:42 it'd be a nigger's identity. So it ain't so much about leaving the street. It's like, this is who I am. This is why people know me. It's like a nigga to play basketball's the whole life. You leave out the NBA and like, who am I now? If you're really... If you're really...
Starting point is 00:34:55 If you're really in the street and you're really getting money, let's say you're really like, because a whole lot of niggas industry is getting in any way. Everybody don't get no money. Talk your money. But you're able to sustain whatever lifestyle you got going. You might be able to pay your bill. You'll pay your bill.
Starting point is 00:35:10 You do some things, right? But then you got some nigg that really get to the bag. Right. And when you're a nigg that's really getting to the bag, that creates a sense of, Because you're helping a nigga. I'm like, you really get into the back. You're doing shit.
Starting point is 00:35:18 And the niggas that get told them. Yeah, I'm like what I'm saying. You're definitely going to jail. But in your mind, like agreeing with you saying that, you start feeling like, man, I ain't stopping this. Nick's like, why you don't stop me? He got at least because you never know what the nigga got here. They always look like any drug that it would look like
Starting point is 00:35:32 unless you're a nigga that's really getting money. He ain't want a nigga to know like he really getting like that. He's putting this shit up. But niggas that's getting some money. Like, I ain't going to say a little bit of money. Let's say a nigga money. He's going to look like he's getting more than what he really getting. Like he might be playing with a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:35:45 You know what I'm saying? Because the whole thing is nothing wrong with it. Some niggas and they carry that they get some money, you're going to fucking know I got it. Some way. You might be a nigga. You might not buy clothes. You might not buy clothes. You might buy clothes.
Starting point is 00:35:56 You might buy clothes. You might do everything. Don't do that part of me? I mean, money is going to sleep for itself. You ain't got to do it. You ain't got to fit that apartment. If you have shit. It's hard to hide it sometimes.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Yeah. I got to spend it. What else you're going to do with it, though? What that's gonna do with it? I got to get fresh on these fucking. If you're a nigga, I like to go to all the games. You're course-outed every game. You're a nigga getting some money.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Yeah. But see, but they don't want to try and ten, right? You're putting yourself on TV. I remember when times was hard, and I remember what I'm like, all right, these are my only responsibility. I'm sitting right here watching niggas getting money. I'm sitting right here knowing that niggas getting some money. They don't put it up.
Starting point is 00:36:30 They ain't got no extra strategy. They ain't investing the money. It's just all week straight. Just get money. They just get money. And then you get caught up in the last. lifestyle of what's going on. You fucking holes, you're doing it, then once you get all that in it, and then you already ain't got the mind state or something, and nobody's telling you
Starting point is 00:36:44 what to do. You're out here getting money. That's the cultural thing anyway, because even a nigga that get a job that got a good job making money. They ain't learning how to invest in that shit. Right, right, right. All you know is going to give you some money, man. You got to get you some money, man. You got to get you. If you have two million dollars. In bad money. In bad money. Give me two. That's all. You know, if you're Two week! Two week! I can turn it.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Not turn that bad money to some good money. All right. Get this a motherfucker. Bring it in the food. That's when you make sure the food. This is you ate four different times, you know. What you're going through? Yeah, it ain't that when I'm going through.
Starting point is 00:37:23 You don't get fat. Damn. That'd be appreciative when I have appetite, man. That look like a lot. This dude looks like, just smotherful. He didn't eat. Everybody don't went through when they know they're hungry but they can't eat. Come on.
Starting point is 00:37:36 And you'd be like, I just be like, I just look. I want to eat. You just got to go to sleep. I know what's wrong with me. I ain't ate. I'm angry. I ain't ate. You ate sleep a lot of nights, man.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Go on through all that pizza, man. Sleep for dinner. I remember when I was growing up eating pizza was a luxury. Damn right. That motherfucker is usually. But your mama said, we eat pizza. Pizza party. Yeah, like a whole bitch.
Starting point is 00:37:57 Pizza party, man. Fun food. Go, Gainland. News had to read. I remember popcorn used to do shit. Remember popcorn party? Pizza party. when the teacher rolled the TV in on that little metal thing.
Starting point is 00:38:11 You're like, we're going to have us a good day because you can hit the TV. I don't want to know. Then you might get a bad TV and don't want to work. And the teacher tell you, don't know, the part ain't know, y'all. Too much. She's going to get another TV for down the hall. You're like, he got a TV.
Starting point is 00:38:27 The party must continue. Let's do it. We get an after 15 minute because I have the party start all the time. Or the teacher threaten you y'all, but y'all don't be quiet, ain't gonna be no pizza potter. When I work a good dominole brother, teacher used to call for the fratid pizza party. They want you to cut one large into 21 pieces. Somebody don't get shorter, too, so I'm gonna get that little piece. The pizza party stopped when the Tisi started having to buy the food.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Yeah, hell yeah. They were like, see, we want to do y'all a party, but we gotta spend our own money. These teachers got to buy toilet tissue and everything for them kid now, man. Teets are supposed to do the work any goddamn way. Great. Hey. Anybody else on there? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Anybody else on there? Yeah. All right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Got to go. Get that shit out the way.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Who else? Don't go. Come on. Come on, man. Let's do this shit. Man. We have a piece of part. Everybody eat.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Hurry up for the TV. Let me get your pick. Hey, boy, my favorite to this day. The reason why a little ninja turn the nigger is because That was one of the movie they used to play all the time. Ninja Turtles and Men in Black. That was a piece of part of movies. That was the piece of part of movie.
Starting point is 00:39:44 I'm on the other. You remember Ninja Turtle cartoon. Oh, Ninja Turtle, niggas. I remember when they first came out with the movie. You're crazy. That rat said the shit out of me, though, Gary. I hate that, d'clock. He wasn't born when the first Ninja Turtles.
Starting point is 00:40:00 That's my man. I remember the comic book, Nick Turtle. That's like in the 80s one. Oh, it probably would. He got you, like 99. That's what cartoons only came on on Saturday. How old are we, bro? He's a nigga with nine years old, an assassination.
Starting point is 00:40:13 He's got cartoons. One to four hours a day. We only, we had to wait to Saturday to watch a cartoon. You're getting up there, bro. I'm up there. I'm up there. I'm gonna stay 33 guys. Yeah, bro.
Starting point is 00:40:22 That's how I got to look at that shit. There you go. That's good. That's it is. Why you got to look at it like that? Because that's an age that you want to get to. Okay. You want to get to any age.
Starting point is 00:40:33 33, even stay at 30, They started to like, came to like in my name, like after 25, but at like 25 up until now, I got like eight years of wisdom. So I, in my neighborhood, I still can be taught. But like, I understand when they were like, a motherfucker older than you, brother, it comes with respect. It comes with, but I know some young nigger. You feel this, you finish, you finish. Well, it can't know 14, 15 year old, pussy and little boy. Tell me nothing.
Starting point is 00:41:00 I'm going to tell you what you're going to do. First of all, we're kids that, that, that they trick. That you, nigga, you don't even know our generation, first of all. We're watching y'all go up. That's phone. It's the end of the technology, nigga. We were the kids that they practice all this shit on, bro. They ain't going to be nothing after Faye Time, bro.
Starting point is 00:41:18 We're the reason why this shit, they got it right to their day. So what you're going to tell me about with? The only thing, you can tell me about TikTok other than that. You ain't going to tell me about shit. I'm going to tell you what a thing to happen, bro. We need y'all, nigh, y'all. Y'all got to use this technology. Black people invented FaceTime, bro.
Starting point is 00:41:34 Because it was a nigga on the phone just caking with a girl like, damn, I wish I could see you right now. They didn't invent, they didn't invent FaceTime for you to call people with your clothes on. They didn't. It's a freaky thing. That's for it's a freaks. See, Faytime says, I'm dumb this old Faytime with like some Star Trek shit. That was like, man, one old Faytown, nitty had. That's what's going to be next, though.
Starting point is 00:41:59 The caller's phone was the shit. If you can go stand on the corner with your caller's phone, that bitch still. Stand outside in front of your house. They're in your head range. You got a good quarter phone. Neither the beat. Without the steady. The people was saying you know, hey, niggas, get to a phone.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Yeah. The beeper was like, hey, nigger, find a phone, get a quarter. Call me. On the way you're at. And they got to put hello and then they look back on your eyes. See, I caught that ass end of the beeper shit. I'm going to gnarled too, babe. So the people came out.
Starting point is 00:42:31 What? It fell out of style. It was like 95, 96. Something like that. Yeah, something. So I remember them. Once they started, because they were laying around the house
Starting point is 00:42:39 and I was grabbing like, what the fuck you did? Yeah, green and orange. That was the last little phase of. Then it started to have two-way. I think I had the beeper in probably about 907. But they were like the end. Yeah, that was about the end of.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Because phones this year was starting to come out and they had like two-way pagers and shit. Mm-hmm. Side kick came out after that. Mm-hmm. One them, one them cell phones came. Because I remember I had a beepper and the prepaid cell phone. So I remember I had a beepper and the prepaid cell phone.
Starting point is 00:43:03 So imagine how you give your three-old. Like, right there. Imagine how you get your three-year-old the iPhone and he already know how to work. Imagine how we were at three with the beats, niggins. Hmm? I had no beep at three. See, the three-old couldn't work no goddamn beeper.
Starting point is 00:43:18 What I'm saying? I remember them. He had a drive to the guy. Because you don't understand. It ain't had a two, one, bud. You ain't understand it, but you grew to understood what that was. You were like, my head a beeper, but then now, you're like, oh, that was.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Oh, okay. I remember I had a phone that had, 19 minutes on the game. I do them 19 minutes old. Niggia, I would have cautious his head every time I had. Coming back at the fine. Oh, call me, hey, hey, hey, my, my mom, my mom.
Starting point is 00:43:42 Come in for two. Not even knowing that shit, they're going to charge you a minute for that in. No doubt. I just had my minute because I want to check that. You remember when you just put the number in and the motherfuckers your remaining balance is 300. 42 minutes.
Starting point is 00:43:56 I remember that motherfucker would be like 2,000. Oh, hell, you're like, ooh. Nice and we got money. You got money with 2,000. You got money with 2,000. minutes. You have
Starting point is 00:44:06 negative 110 minutes. Please see your local carrier to add a plan to your phone. I remember the phone
Starting point is 00:44:16 company would show you how much money you had. Like Sprint was business. It was a business phone.
Starting point is 00:44:23 You knew you had a job if a nigga had a phone. You know what Sprint got on? When? Because they'll get anybody a phone.
Starting point is 00:44:29 But they were giving them a job. And the nigga I knew they had a Sprint had a job. Sprint. Yeah, anybody's a big phone. How about the Sprite?
Starting point is 00:44:35 How about the Sprint phone was back then about $200? Yeah, the Trillo was like $3.00. That Sprint trio, $6.00? No kid with the button on the side, that fit with $2.50? I remember when that phone was the highest phone they had. Phone easy.
Starting point is 00:44:48 That phone's fine, man. I remember when those bids you started going. Sprint and say some shit like. You ever know that you could never pay off your Sprint account. Never. Never. Nigger what's wrong with them phone off? You could pay them and then.
Starting point is 00:45:02 Let you cut them up on that. And they'll cut that bitch off four days like the way you're standing in the Sprint store they don't cut that bitch y'all. Oh, one. Yeah. That's all the way to they fell out. I hate the Sprin. You know that Cricket.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Cricket and Sprint, that's the same thing. Probably so. A Cricket plus sprint. And they all the guy ain't boom over all that niggled a man. Everybody's working. That was. They ain't got no tough button to work together. Everybody got it.
Starting point is 00:45:27 All that said one. They said one. They said cell phone, man. It said one coming out. They had to get a phone. They had to get a phone. Get a phone, baby. She's one company, cell phone.
Starting point is 00:45:35 So I get a foot what service. You got to do it work. Man, because we all then came from the hood, right? And we know how hard it is to get a phone when your credit fucked up. When you got good credit, them motherfuckers will give you as many phones as you can put in your goddamn hand. They still trying to see me a phone, though, right now. I got a phone on credit. I got an old-ass phone.
Starting point is 00:45:52 I'm going to, I use mine until they literally don't work no more. Yeah. I think I got like a 13. I got a phone. It'll be a 200-something-dollar. They didn't build 10 phones since it. A service bill, like 50. They got a phone bill within a phone.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Yeah, yeah. You're gonna pay and fit it off for the service. Yeah. But one 50 goes to the phone. So you're paying the hat to the back. So you got a, now you got an account with them and you always owe them motherfuckers to me. And you tell you when you first paying it,
Starting point is 00:46:19 they'll tell you, no, you ain't signed it on the phone. Yeah, that's our phone. To fuck your mail. You got an email that you're paying for monthly too. Yeah. Don't you want an email that used to be free? But that's when you know you're about to pay the shit off when they offer you a new phone.
Starting point is 00:46:32 And they say, just bring it back. This thing, refurbish phone like a mother. Man, I would go buy me an old phone so quick. Man, iPhone sell them and chill. You know, the iPhone 12 ain't but $74 at Walmart. For real. Right now. To take the Walmart right.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Shit, the Tesla's truck ain't but $76,000, no. I bet it's a slobat truck. Nah, I don't want. I don't like them. It's going to rain. Car stop. You know why I don't want an electric car? Because my light's been cut off before.
Starting point is 00:47:02 I know how easy it is for them to cut that shit off remote. That I never understood. How they can cut your shit off, bro. They can cut your shit off from you. They can cut your shit off from there. But somebody got to come back out here to turn it back on. That's some bullshit. No, they're gonna drive your off for you.
Starting point is 00:47:19 Push the same button that you cut it off with. Because you ain't come out here to cut the motherfucker off, bitch at me. That's why they easy it. And you can't even have from the repo man from that bitch. No, they easing it on you. Biss me know where that bitch is at. They're easing on it. That's why they're showing you little.
Starting point is 00:47:32 You got card that drive itself, so when you see your Tesla drive itself, don't be acting like you right now. Yeah, Mr. Payment, Mr. Payment, that bitch take yourself back to the day. That's right here. Hey, hey, hey, hey. My one shirt in that motherfucker. That shit, they saw all your shit out the car and take off. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:47:52 They come in with their towel. Come on, come down there today. My shit wasn't a long gag, man. Yeah, for real, for real. And I got a certain type of tie. You got a certain type of look, real to take your mom. Yeah, start playing. You can't, because these cars do too much.
Starting point is 00:48:07 They got Syria and Alexa and all that shit. You can't even be on the phone. Bitch, I kill you, calling the police. Yeah, but Connor told on it. They got the video on you on there. You're saying it's clear as fuck. You can see the bumper on your face. Yeah, I kill you.
Starting point is 00:48:25 That's great. You need your car. It's too invasive. I like, I need privacy. So I will be on my house. some in the cameras and that shit and all that shit. You don't know what the side of the truck. Then you get in that motherfucker with your lady.
Starting point is 00:48:38 This motherfucker pull the video up. Tell on you. Give me a car. Hello, Courtney. Who the fuck is Courtney? Yeah. Give me a car that got gas. So I won't be on my hand.
Starting point is 00:48:54 I don't want an electric car. Yeah. Because I'm trying to go up. You definitely can't go too far. With the first one, you can go with the farther one. Even with the long range, it ain't been like 300 miles. That's all. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:10 3.50, something like that. My call ain't got no charge. That means that I can't go far. And you got to pay for the fast charge and shit. Ain't no electric charge. Yeah, you can go get the regular charge. But the regular charge. How long the regular charge?
Starting point is 00:49:30 I go. Depends on what you're at. At least 30 minutes. But, Scooby-in' on 15. And then you can't charge that motherfucker to 100% anyway. Why? They just recommend that should not do that. It'd have failed the battery and shit.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Electric cars on my eye. Yeah. You're talking over that classic, but you were gone. What? Nah. We ain't fucking with no electric. Well, I ain't fucking with, man. You got me fucked up.
Starting point is 00:50:02 I saw too many, too many of you guys just stopping on this fairway. Now, even gas cars be fucking up. Even when you have a blowout, but you got to be able to take control over that. That can happen to the electric car, too. I know, but even in the gas car, you got to be in control, but you think you're trying to missis, Smith. Hmm? Boom.
Starting point is 00:50:20 Nick on my tie, nigga on my truck, nigga my back right tie. Blue. That blowout. Man, blue. And it seems like the car don't drive when you have a flat. it'd be tripping and like it ain't gonna kick grip all the way and that bit was sliding get on here in the emergency lane

It feels like Bob Dylan going electric that this is something we've been doing for the hundreds of years. You carry with you a sense of purpose and confidence. That's Sierra Teller Ornelis,
Starting point is 00:54:16 who with Rutherford Falls became the first native showrunner in television history. On the podcast, Burn Sage, Burn Bridges, we explore her story, along with other native stories, such as the creation of the first Native Comic-Con or the importance of reservation basketball. Every day, Native people are striving to keep traditions alive while navigating the modern world, influencing and bringing our culture into the mainstream. Starting point is 00:54:52 Hi, it's Jemis Begg, host of the Psychology of your 20s. remember when you used to have Science Week at school? Well, if you loved that, how would you feel about a full psychology month? This September at the psychology of your 20s, we're breaking down the interesting ways psychology applies to real life, like how our pets actually change our brain chemistry, the psychology of office politics, whether happiness is even a real emotion. And my favorite episode, why do we all secretly crave external validation? It's so interesting to me that we are so quick to believe others' judgments of us and not our own. I found a study that said, not being liked actually creates similar levels of pain as physical pain. Like, no wonder we care so much. So the secret is, if you want to be okay with not being liked, you have to know why your brain craves it in the first place. Learn more about the psychology of external validation, everyday life. And of course, your 20s, this September.
Starting point is 00:55:52 Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast. or wherever you get your podcast. Here, he mad at his head, man. Stop by all the mother gas cars. Hey, bro, what if some shit like that happen? Like apocalyptic shit like that? Any more gas off cars, something like that. Nah, man, nigga, what?

I was like, oh, the world over with it. I thought it was a joke until I realized it was. Oh, no, because you ain't going to know it until that shit hits you. I had cold. Oh, that shit.
Starting point is 00:57:51 No, when I had cold a cold, look, listen. That did I hit the old time. That dude. When we had that shit, everybody, the whole crew had it. So look, I'm going to come on the road. Every time I come to the road, I said, I keep taking pictures with people. She's paranoid. I said, yeah, ain't no wrong.
Starting point is 00:58:03 So Nile Ross called. He was like, I had to walk through the door. She went upstairs talking to all that shit. We all walk on the step. He said, and might want to get the cell check, man, I got COVID. I don't know, this. Yeah, he whispered to you. I'm on my phone.

He said, I told me, as soon as I said, they feel like, I don't feel good. Hey, bro, I'm someone, I start getting the chills. I'm talking about, I feel like I had a fever.

Starting point is 01:00:04 because it's normal. Man, she was like, she was like, she said, this is, she really like going through it. Can you imagine eating something and can't take and then when she got that bitch back, she was eating to a regular one day. She said, I can fucking taste it. Man, I was like, damn.

Starting point is 01:01:59 I'm at home. I'll be on urban. I feel something. I get it out. Old school, get action. I'm at the age. I'm going to get sick. I might get sick once or twice, maybe a year, right?
Starting point is 01:02:07 But when I do get sick, I'm like, like, just the one right here. I'm like, yeah, they're smoking blacks and shit. It's the big one. Yeah. You'd be ready to go ahead until he gets sick. Because I got asthma, so when I get sick, When I get sick, when I get real sick, I'm like, this might be it, bro.
Starting point is 01:02:26 I got, I don't shake this boy. No, no, no, I say, I say, this might be good. You might be the one. Because, you know, you're going to die. You know, how he's going to go? I'm 50. Right. And I don't think we're going to be 50.
Starting point is 01:02:36 It ain't going to be that, though. You don't know, you don't know what it's going to be. You don't know what it's going to be. Yeah, you don't know what it's going to be. No, I don't. Yeah, it's how you get the cold. What you got, you're going to die. You got such a gambling problem.
Starting point is 01:02:47 I ain't know you had asthma and you bet niggas that you can run a mile and under six minutes Yeah, because I don't, you know, for playing sports, I kind of good. I got to bet that. I want to bet that. No, don't, he already did it.

Starting point is 01:03:06 I did like eight and some chains. Nah. I would close. You weren't. Yeah, we're close. You're on time. Yes. But you don't understand that too.
Starting point is 01:03:14 You don't understand it too. You don't understand it too. He was on treadmill, he was on treadmill, But listen this, you don't understand that. The night before. He was on a treadmill now. The night before. He's all that thing talking about the goddamn trash man.

Starting point is 01:03:37 But you can set the treadmill to be the exact time to finish. You run on the trip. Let me see. Oh, shit. I got a couple of years ago. This was a couple of years ago. It's hard to run a male under six minutes. In a great shape.
Starting point is 01:03:47 That's on six. You was running how fast with the treadmill going? You got to put on about seven. I used to do that shit. You're running. You got to. You put it on seven? He had to make the time.
Starting point is 01:03:56 You start off. You either going to start off high and go low or you got to, you got it. You got to do it. No, you got to, you ain't jogging now. Right, right, right. That's like three steps after jogging. Like, you put some. No, if you're running, you can get it right.
Starting point is 01:04:11 But I'm saying. You stumping on the treadmill. Yeah, you're definitely. After the night of drinking. And they say, I'm not going to drink. When you started running, when you started running, when you started running, I'd be like, I tried the next day. I think I did.
Starting point is 01:04:22 I ain't do it. I still, it was a little shot. Hey, man, I got, I got much respect for you even trying. I ain't know you had to ask them to. I ain't smoked black. This is not how you running the street. The ground did not shit like this.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Well, I fell out, and that mother flowed so hard. Yeah. But one thing about, it was good. I ran that liquor. Whatever I drank that night, that bitch got out of me. Hey, boy, I mean, my sister tried to act like she run on the treadmill, right?
Starting point is 01:04:46 Because she swore she was a better ass. My mom was selling stuff for the Avon phone. It was when Avon popped. So they got a whole little seminar. They had a hotel. We had a hotel. This is luxury. We go down there in the workout room.
Starting point is 01:04:59 My mom said, stay in the room. Me and my sister go to the workout room. She got on flip-flop. I hit the treadmill. You know, when that big go up, like 12, 13, that big gets sizzling. Yeah, you're speeding. You're speeding. Hit that big.
Starting point is 01:05:12 B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b. Get on that bed. About something, tell her. Watch out, I can do that. I'm like, all right, shot, do I chat? Bro, you gotta need motherfucking flip-flop. I'm an athlete, boy, I play soccer, you all right? Blah, blah, b'b, b'bob, whiz.
Starting point is 01:05:27 Blip. She came to lose. Nigel stitch. Mm-hmm. Boy, that the first time I ever saw a little coming from my shoulder. That trim is still going. Yeah, it's just in your face.
Starting point is 01:05:39 I was trumpet down like in. That trimmit me a skit like. I saw her. Cool your own face off. I saw her when she hit the, when she hit the, When she hit the rumor, he said, peeping in the drug their head, brus. Fucked up, man.
Starting point is 01:06:00 Oh, shit. I still got that mock right there. Oh, right. Hey, right. That's been, that fuck. She said, zh. She said, get up off me. Oh, shit, bro.
Starting point is 01:06:16 Oh, hell no. Oh, my, that treadmill, my hell, but I was scared to get a treadmill for about three years, I said. I would not get on the treadmill, boy, that's all I remember. That's a thing down to fly off a goddamn treadmill. That's a thing dangerous. Don't get that's a big comedy, right? That ain't dangerous. Hey, boy, that's all I remember for four years, boy.
Starting point is 01:06:42 You said, turn that down. Don't go fast on that. I saw that she brought blood, boy. That's right. Man, that shit, beat my son's ass. Yeah. Oh, hit that beat and it kicked off. It was like, boom, bitch.
Starting point is 01:06:53 I get on me. What are flip flies do? Man, the flip-flop. The flip-flop, well, you got to understand. I'm a child, so now my sister, I see my sister crawled up and I just see blood. She's like, go get mama. I'm running out of her. What's your mama say?
Starting point is 01:07:13 Bro, she was mad, bro. We got a whip her. But that we're trying to tell for. Ain't that something, man, you're gonna bust. You can have blood coming like your team. You should have been doing it. We got whoopin' bro. We got a spank, bro.
Starting point is 01:07:23 When we were hard hair, we got a hat pop, nika. You ain't deep wet? If a motherfucker got to say something again or that was one thing, don't embarrass my mama. She always said, don't embarrass me. Because she's a statue. You, you in back, miss, what? I'm whooping your ass, what? This shit, like, run.
Starting point is 01:07:45 You know what I'm dead for you to... Boy, you up here. I got to teach all the teachers and you don't disrespect the eight of them. How am I supposed to? How are they going to respect me? But that don't say it, don't say it twice. That said real.
Starting point is 01:07:59 Man, I'm a whooping your ass, man. Fuck that. Ain't no calling police. I ain't even if a social worker. I thought that was some pussy-ass shit. You called a social worker and they come to your house? You got defects involved? Who called the social worker?
Starting point is 01:08:13 Some kids were doing that, boy? On their turn? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah, call the social worker, man. I love, boy, y'all are tough. I came to them, man. I wish a motherfucker would knock on my door. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:25 I wish her a motherfucker won. What? I came to them, man. No, that lady crazy, man. I love them. I'm going to be so nice by that social worker there. Soon she leave. To leave.
Starting point is 01:08:36 It's over with. Well, you know, they took social workers out of school, though. They took everything out of school, man. They ain't got no trouble. Did they still do the president of the school? No. They used to do. That's weird in the morning.
Starting point is 01:08:46 That's weird anyway, though. They used to pray in school. Mm-hmm. Did you have a prayer for special leaders? They stopped out of that. Yeah? Mm-hmm. Took everything out of school, except for gun.
Starting point is 01:08:57 You should have took the prayer out, though. You can't pray with everybody. Nah, hell no. You gotta pray with some of them kids, man. Nah, I mean. Some of them children who they got in them schools ain't thanked you want praying with your kids anyway. Yeah, some of the people in the church.
Starting point is 01:09:10 I definitely understand that, because some of them folks are predators. Yeah, there. people who work with kids don't need to be around no kids. That's right. No, it's too many stories of people saying, man, when I was in school I had a teacher tell me I wasn't going to be shit. Who was this teacher? That ain't the way you want to bring over you anyway. They need to get these type of teachers to fuck
Starting point is 01:09:29 out of school system. But some kids, man. But if you think about it, they don't. Look at how many great people them teachers made. Yeah. You got to do the number game. You ain't never going to be shit. Really, Miss Jackson? I'll show you bitch. That kid, if an adult
Starting point is 01:09:47 telling a child that he ain't going to be shit or she ain't going to be shit, that kid probably really come doing some crazy. I ain't talking about he's going to believe you. Yeah, but I ain't talking about a dog that just being nasty to a kid. Let's say you got because some kids are like, this motherfucker is something right here. You got some kid that talk to you like they're your age.
Starting point is 01:10:02 You know what I'm saying? They're nigh. I ain't fuck you, man, bitch, that's a head nigga. That's just a day and they ain't going to be shit. I'm telling you. I'm telling you. But that's the only time it comes in the plaintiff. I ain't talking about the kid that said no, any kid that every little normal babe. I'm talking a kid that's really...
Starting point is 01:10:17 Because it's a hard-haired motherfucker You can't tell you shit And they were told you like this 25 year old And this motherfucker is nine You know what, I'm gonna be real I ain't got time for that That when I asked for like Hey, but where your dad is?
Starting point is 01:10:28 Where's your uncle? I got to talk to somebody grown. No, the grandma got. Well, I got to talk to grandma. She's something doing the best I can't. And I'm like, well, guess what? We're gonna put him in some program because I see now
Starting point is 01:10:38 it's past talking. He needs to be in something to keep his mind off of how he think. You see what I'm saying? Because when we grew up. Well, we did have a program, man. Yeah, most of them, direct stuff. We had some programs.
Starting point is 01:10:48 We had some programs. We had some programs. And then the great part about it, it was just going to connect to the street. We were still in the street, but we still had time to have fun as children. So we realized once we was done, we were like, damn, what's missing is the program. That's the only thing. The internet took all this stuff because, like, I'm a video game. I still play video games.
Starting point is 01:11:06 Video games is not like it. Like, video games now, it's not like it was. Then kids ain't got come outside. For what? They got everything. You can play. If I want to play Los in Madden and something back in the day,
Starting point is 01:11:17 I had to go to the fucking house. I want to play him in double dribble. I got to go to your fucking house. Ask your mom can I come in. Right. Nah, you ain't got to do none of that. I mean, you know. Put the kid on a punchman after.
Starting point is 01:11:26 Stay in your fucking room. I won't come out of this bitch anyway. The kids now, parents work hard enough to make sure that they had a nice house and somewhere nice to be. And they'd be like, go outside. Hell no. Nigger outside,
Starting point is 01:11:35 ain't nice as it is in here. It wasn't really nice. In our house, so you had to go outside. Sometime, when I was a kid, Yeah, man, I had to get them too early to go outside. My grandma has to tell me, don't go knock on nobody. He didn't cut.
Starting point is 01:11:45 Don't go knock on about that door to jail. I'm outside at 7 in the morning. I'll be back. No, no, no, it's too early. What's it going? You're really waking them up. Yeah. You was a old.
Starting point is 01:11:52 When I was a kid, we would go outside, and the prime time is when you hear the ice cream truck come around. Okay, come around twice. You'll fuck around the missing if you ain't outside on time. Second time we're going around. Now you did something, because you called the ice cream truck two times.
Starting point is 01:12:08 You bawling. It's like you don't went to the clothes. You got snacks for days, you got the can laid up, scream. Like, do you kid don't know about that? That was all the first corner stuff. Nothing made us feel poor than when you couldn't get the fucking, like if your mama wasn't around and you had no money, and then you had to get the 25-cent bomb pop. Not the bullshit.
Starting point is 01:12:29 That was the kid version of struggling. I hate that shit. Or if your cousins around, you got to get four of them bitches for a dollar, and then everybody get a bomb pop. You can't get the baseball glove with the gunball in. You got to get the push pop, motherfucker? No, it's just a red-ass bomb pop. That's all it was.
Starting point is 01:12:49 They had a red, white, and blue one and a red one. This shit different. Oh, you're talking about the red, right, and blue one was, that was a firecracker. No, but I'm saying, this was the knockoff. Oh, okay. It was, this was, it was just, it was. Yeah, skinned one. They were 25 cents.
Starting point is 01:13:06 That's the bull and then they had a yellow paper. And then they had a red, white, and blue ballpark. They had a fudge one, too. It was a fuzz and banana. See, in L.A. They were 50 cent, though. They were my shit. In L.A., when you had a little money,
Starting point is 01:13:20 you get you some on chili fritos with a little cheese on that motherfucker. Ooh, your shit was excurs. Yeah, we had food. We had donuts. No, the ice cream truck would have, like, shit. There's like on Friday. Like, let me get some chili free. That's some real shit.
Starting point is 01:13:33 We have chili frito. They had nachos on that bitch. We have motherfuck of donuts. He would come over there. He'd be like, wait, wait, wait, wait. We were like, all right, bro, got down, bro, wrong with you. Don't get on the back of my truck. We're like, all right, nigga, fuck wrong with you.
Starting point is 01:13:43 Start yelling at that and didn't give her the motherfucking jam. Well, that ain't being mean. You, like, get out of my truck, though. Like, that ain't being mean at all. That ain't mean, get your ass on my truck. That ain't mean, get up to be dead. You're talking to my goddamn truck. You go on every day, bro.
Starting point is 01:13:57 Yeah, get the fuck off my truck. And you don't even know, this truck is barely at making it. Yeah, man. I get to put two tires. Let me tell my goddamn truck, man. Tell my ass on my ass on. Nothing views more as a child when you see your neighborhood, ice cream man, in another neighborhood. Mr. Tony?
Starting point is 01:14:17 That, me y'all in your head with. Y'all know Mr. Tony? Yeah, nigga, he'd be in my neighborhood. That's why you don't be having no chip. Hell yeah. You got the crazy part of that ice cream truck song, racist than a motherfucker. Hold on, what you mean? All around the mulberry bush.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Ring around the rose. That ain't it. Monkey thought it was all the club. Niggin' in the wood, pal. That's the, that's the shit. All those songs are racist. But that's ring around the road, you know what? Ring around the rose, your pocket for the toes,
Starting point is 01:14:45 the ass, that asks, we all for the time. What the fuck is? All that shit is, what is toes? Poses. Yeah, flowers. Yeah, that's right. The song is from when motherfuckers had the plague. They would be rotting this shit, so they would have poses in their pockets so they
Starting point is 01:14:56 ain't stank so bad. I know. Ring around the roses, that's the road. You get these rings around your eyes. The whole song is about having the plague. It's all about dirty white people's shit. Okay. Dang down.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Yeah. Why the fuck they teach us that and let's do that. Because they weren't worth a strange that shit. That's what the, when you get old and you realize. Oh, hey. Black, it's bad. We didn't have seen a baby. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:20 We see some dandelions. We didn't never seen no posts, dick. Everybody did. We never seen no post. They all fell down. Everything got racist. It's all falling down. Listen to the second verse that it starts making a bell.
Starting point is 01:15:33 Yeah, I think it stays. The third verse. Oh, it's another verse. It's not. Oh, yeah. It's an original song. Yeah, that's why it's racist. They said a nigga wrote that when he was bombing the nigga.
Starting point is 01:15:45 Who was writing music while the war or war? Imagine you got to be the nigga that's in front back in the day when war, right? You're the nigga that's holding the flag and the fighting going on, but you got to keep marching with the flag. Them niggas fought so stupid back in the day. They just land everybody up and they just marched into the senior shit. You never get behind it. Hey, let me tell you who the working nigga is, the one that was playing the drum,
Starting point is 01:16:06 And you got the geek going. This niggas is shooting like I'm a grud-d-r-r-d-r-r-tum. Why am I playing the fucking drum? What is this doing? He said, play a drop-drawn. How am I doing me? What are the truck? Uh-oh.
Starting point is 01:16:22 It's a nigger with a drummer. Oh, man. You get that on me. No, I'm grabbing a gun, niggas. There's a nigger on the flute. There's a nigg on the flute. He's playing a flute, nigg. They ain't going in, too.
Starting point is 01:16:36 I'm not in the front, though. Can I stand in the back and play the drums? But what is training like? Yeah, the music is back. What is training like to the back? What type of training that the drummer do to go into war? Nigel mental training. You got to act like he don't...
Starting point is 01:16:51 You got to understand. You're fighting for your country, and guess what they tell you? Ain't nothing going to happen to you? First, nigga, I'm shooting this nigga with the drum. No, that's it. That's going to make you a bitch-ha-ha-s-nig. That's going to make the end-vis. This is war, man.
Starting point is 01:17:01 Oh, so you're going to shoot my flute, nigga. Yeah, yeah. I want you to say, I want to that nigga first. Is they off limits? Is you not up for the street? No, that ain't off. It's war, nigga, everybody can die. So when you get back to the guy,
Starting point is 01:17:14 so you get a war crime, you say, uh-uh, didn't shot nine, I drummers. Right. Two trumpet plans. Two trumpet plans. You bitch said that man, and you shot nine drummers. Two trumpet plans,
Starting point is 01:17:25 that's gonna be the only shit they can get you right up. That's it. That's it. You got me with the flag. He shot the dick with the drum. How dare you beat this. And you don't want to be the whole. You don't want to be the whole.
Starting point is 01:17:34 They snubing all your pants is off. And once the nigger gets shot, he's still playing. Because the nigger holding flag, they're trying to get that. If they get your flag, you lose. You're getting shot in your face. You're getting shot in your face. He's like, getting to me. They're getting shot in the face for that flag.
Starting point is 01:17:49 Ain't going to get to me. Everybody getting shot. When they were, when they say, everybody falls, he said, yeah, we're going to lost this to him. Y'all got to this damn. You know, they got the knife on the end of the gun. They come and stab the shit out to you, man. I know one of them were like,
Starting point is 01:18:01 don't shoot the nigger on the drum. We're keeping him. That's gonna be our guy. It's gonna say, this niggas, I'm shot the drum. And you know, you gotta understand. When they go against the niggas, they are already gonna be charged. So they see them. And then they lock eyes with a nigger, they're like,
Starting point is 01:18:17 I'm gonna punch you in the drum. And it's true. But who wanna be in the front road? I didn't fight back, and they just line up. You on the front. And they just start off. Everybody, they just, whoever go in, they say, move to the back.
Starting point is 01:18:30 They say, move to the back. They said, I didn't miss me. I'm gonna keep on move to the back. Hey, I didn't wait. I just went, man. You got to step over a company then. I wouldn't have been in the front anyway. Hell no.
Starting point is 01:18:40 You would have been black. You wouldn't even let you fight. I'm like, let's go to the other, like you're going to spread up. All the people are in the front. They were definitely in the front. I don't have got a whole bunch of black, bro. We need to all split up. Let's go around these niggas.
Starting point is 01:18:53 You think we should have had a tree or something? And I'm getting 45 nigg. So we said, half and had a tree and shoot at them. And wait on you need to bark. They're barking. They're barking. Yeah. And shoot these niggins from the side, at least.
Starting point is 01:19:05 You know the first motherfuckers to let black men fight, they probably, whoever they was fighting probably thought they was cheating like a motherfucker. Yeah, yeah. So when they didn't stop with that. They were like, oh. Oh, you're doing. About some rings.
Starting point is 01:19:21 I had this, like, overwhelming sensation that I had to call it right then. And I just hit call. I said, you know, hey, I'm Jacob Schick. When you think about emotion regulation, like, you're not going to choose an adaptive strategy, which is more effortful to use, unless you think there's a good outcome as a result of it, if it's going to be beneficial to you. Because it's easy to say, like, go you go blank yourself.
Starting point is 01:22:58 it's easy it's easy to just drink the extra beer it's easy to ignore to suppress seeing a colleague who's bothering you and just like walk the other way avoidance is easier ignoring is easier denial's easier drinking is easier yelling screaming is easy complex problem solving meditating you know takes effort listen to the psychology podcast on the iheart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts We're fighting for freedom, and we're feeling free, so we got a purpose to fight. We kick it, eh.
Starting point is 01:23:34 First time you get to feel like a... What? It's like the nigger with the drums. I'm smack it, homie. That's off in them. To be a free, a free knuckle. And as a slave, that's the first time people feel like a man. Like, you know, they got shit.
Starting point is 01:23:45 But the crazy part about, they were still trying them nigger then. No, they was. But I'm just saying, like, other slaves look at the soldiers, like, oh, shit. Oh, yeah, like, that's a man right there. You're not a slave no more to us. You know what I'm saying. Fast. Fast.
Starting point is 01:23:57 We're free. We're free while we're fighting. Even if I die, I'm gonna be free, but I'm gonna fucking, I'm free right now. Because the end of my turn their gun on one of the air. I can kill everybody I happen. You didn't talk me how to shoot dick. Hey.
Starting point is 01:24:09 Hey. I will shoot you both. I ain't stupid. Hey, shoot you. I ain't out there on that place anymore. Shoot everybody out. What? But they are already.
Starting point is 01:24:19 Yeah. I can snagging that. I'm just snagged. Yeah. Don't get out there. Snatching ass on that field. I shoot your ass. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:24:27 They had the joint like this little one, and won't know what I got it. Oh, yeah, you had to, when you shoot that big, you had to reload it with the ball, put the gunpowder in. Not in the, uh, y'all talking about, not in the Civil War. Civil War, they had actual just one loaded, but like in the, y'all talking about like Revolutionary
Starting point is 01:24:41 where you had to put powder in that. Then when it was landing up and just, yeah, that was like 17. Once they started shooting, multiple guns, eight, all that lining up, you need to cut that out. I would be real, man. I would have been the truth on that horse, though,
Starting point is 01:24:51 Gary. I would have been running, like, I would have been fine, But then I don't mean, get nobody there with the horns like, Look at that nigga on that bag. And they come back, and, boy, he'll get on the horse again. Come back, eh, fuck, these. What?
Starting point is 01:25:04 They're not there like Zoro, niggas. Stop playing. They didn't let black people fight back then. And you see how that shit worked out? We did the fight, man. We really been whipping that, bro. You know, you know how bad you've got to be losing to need some help from some black people back in them time? And then guess what, though, after they'll win, they still try to use them.
Starting point is 01:25:30 That could be a setup. Y'all want to fight for it? Yeah, go on that in the front. Go on out there. It is. Because, but see, but see. Which one of your niggas want this drum? It was a scale tactic to try to take away some of the strip from the other side. And if they're going to kill somebody, we'll at least let it be y'all first.
Starting point is 01:25:47 Yeah, the North was losing. I really want to know what happened. The North was losing. They had, they had sold them that they wasn't letting them fight. They were just drilling them. They were trained, and they were trained, they were training. And they were like, well, we are losing, so let's not lose and let these niggas go fight. And they got when they won.
Starting point is 01:26:00 And guess what, though? I'm going to tell you, with the Havron. And I know them Southern Crack were like, damn motherfuckers got the niggins fight. Y'all cheat. I'm going to tell you. They're what Haldon came in. The niggas don't have nothing to do with you. They're not in any Constitution.
Starting point is 01:26:15 They didn't write this shit for them? They didn't have nothing to do it. You know, they said the angry white man left. If I had to have a bullet for every nigger, I wanted to kill them. You know what I mean, they fucking bullets I would need. But I'm gonna say y'all when Harron came in the place, we ain't have enough troops. So the niggas started crushing up,
Starting point is 01:26:32 the government started crushing a heroin pill, giving it to them because they would fight better because they'd be up three, four days. Because they were getting beat. They're like, bro, we can't do that. These need to get on the Harron pill and fight so good, they started crushing them business and started giving it to them. I heard that about the German soldiers, but not the American. I was on crank. For the Vietnam. I think the Vietnam soldiers were doing it for recreation
Starting point is 01:27:15 and then still going out there fighting. I don't know if the government was actually giving it to him like that. Yeah, but we were crushing them. I'm telling the government it was crucial. I believe. Thank you. I'm telling you, they had like little chips. It looked like little communion chips.

Starting point is 01:38:17 God damn. Hold on, nigga. Monique and Oprah win for sisters. This nigga will believe everything. Braymond Greenford of the Cowboy. You got Trayvon? We got Trayvon? We got Trayvon.
Starting point is 01:38:31 That he said, He got to play for the Cowboy. He didn't play for the Cowboy. The Cowboys said he said they blew a four to four point lead, but the numbers say 20. He's like, Damn, read that right now. He did it, look at it.
Starting point is 01:38:43 That shit, but four to four points. Rachel ain't tripping. No, they did, Lou. You got to stop following them, O.G. No, I'm good. You read the paper, though. What's done? Speaking of crazy.
Starting point is 01:38:52 Oh, man. What happened? All right, bro. I thought. before we filmed this thing, it said that Cassie was on... Oh shit, I don't know about all that. The stand today, do you want to hear? I want to hear.
Starting point is 01:39:04 No, I want to hear. I want to hear. Okay, I'll leave this shit. You all want this shit be playing in court. It's already on the new. She the one said in court. You're like, you're unintentionally be up. They brought up.
Starting point is 01:39:13 You're like, they're going to show a picture in this shit in the background. They're showing this shit in court, man. Listen, everybody knows. They're talking about it on the show. Yeah. This, dude, listen, they're talking about it on the show. You know, everybody knows what's going on, Your Honor. Friday night.
Starting point is 01:39:32 I just feel like a nigga be going through court situation. You got to let them handle that shit. Nah, this shit was crazy what she said, though. That's true. I don't think you want to know for her. She said, this is allegedly, obviously, that. Don't see it's not right now. Oh, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Starting point is 01:39:52 Nah, I saw that. That's crazy. That's crazy. Yeah. And he said, no, no. Yeah, yeah. I just realized why. I tell you later speaking.
Starting point is 01:40:02 Okay. Yeah. He won't nothing. No, I ain't know. That shit is crazy. I'm a little cranky ahead down the street, though. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:11 Yeah. Yeah. He didn't put 10 on your car right now. Damn, my y'all nigg is stupid, bro. Ain't no crackheads really doing jobs like that no more, man. No. No. I'm saying crack hand now they're just tired of smoking crack,
Starting point is 01:40:29 but they know they can't do nothing but smoke crap. Yeah, man. They just be like, huh. And they're more working crack heads. They're like, I need it to survive, but I don't really want to do this shit. They're like, Craig ain't crack no more. Thank you, man. They're like, crack ain't crack.
Starting point is 01:40:43 They're like, man, this shit don't even make me want to be no crackhead. And it got lazy. I'm like, try it. I don't smokey, niggas. They're like, man, I'm trying to get high of this shit. You know what's crazy? Oh, I'm good. It's a nigga in the hood with a pocket full of money can do this.
Starting point is 01:40:59 Imagine if that was the only thing to clean up the hood. What? Put out bad dope. So you know. So they can stop smoking it. That's what kind of happened with the heroin thing. If you ever heard of China White. Right.
Starting point is 01:41:11 Like that was like the thing the government actually was finding big dope dealers and saying like you're either going to go to jail. A nigga wrote a book about it. You either going to go to jail or you sell what we give you. They said what they give you. And they was noticing their business was slowing down. and some people was like, yeah, I don't even want to... I forgot what it's a methadone
Starting point is 01:41:28 is what they ended up selling the people. So the government made... And they started like bringing it down. That's really synthetic dope. So what they're doing is, hey, don't say that. Sell my shit because you... No, what they were saying? He was saying, he was saying motherfuckers
Starting point is 01:41:40 the dude that wrote the book. I actually know him. He was saying that people just stopped coming to him and he had to even like go final. Yeah, but what I'm saying is this. They got a thing called Mettness, Metc Clinic. They still sell methadone. They get that to heroin addict so they stopped doing dope.
Starting point is 01:41:54 But what you do is, get what you're doing. You got to still take meth. You offer dope, but you're still taking meth all the time. So all the government is doing is, hey, don't do that. Give us that money. Yeah. So I'm saying? So instead of going to buy the dough from you,
Starting point is 01:42:07 and they got you son, and then they say, I don't want that dough you got. But I still need that. But I need to get sick. Because you be sick. All right about dope, niggas get sick. And the met makes you not be sick, but it eats your bones up and make you sick.
Starting point is 01:42:18 It's fucking niggas up for me. They give that shit to the nigg in jail. And at once in a time, if you was a dope thing, And you get locked up and you're dope sick, you're gonna be done that bitch. I don't say, you're plenty of dope, you're gonna be sick. They'd be out of commission for a couple days.
Starting point is 01:42:31 Withdraw, kill. But now what they're doing down to jail is, they're giving them the Mac, they call them a Mac. I saw a nigga like that up that link. That's the dog. Yeah, most dumb. And that shit would come like, hey, poor, bro. Like, he was cool.
Starting point is 01:42:43 Then when I knew wheel drive was here, he was cool, he was chilling, you could tell, he was chilling. You know what I'm saying, co-hearing, he's talking. He started getting close to night time. He's sweating. He's swam to my swing with that shit. Man, they had trained that guy like two times because he doesn't sweat it's so bad.
Starting point is 01:42:59 But now it's to the point where he's there. He hallucinating. He's seeing shit. He's doing shit. He's working on. They can't even get out of the bed, man. They can't even get out of bed. But you get him a pillow dope.
Starting point is 01:43:16 He's going to lay down like a bed. I don't say, I can't even move, man. Here we go. I said, die down. That shit. He's like that. They'll be sick, man. Your brain need it.
Starting point is 01:43:25 That's the dose of something terrible. Yeah, man, don't do drugs. That's all I can tell you. Don't do dope. No, don't do dope. You can do drugs. They don't do that. Why?
Starting point is 01:43:35 We didn't do drugs. Because I feel like you might be sneaking and geeking. That's crazy. You'll never know who do power. Yeah. I got addicted personality, so I ain't ever tried cocaine. And when you see somebody do powder, you got to act like it's normal. But when you get in your car, that's when you tell yourself,
Starting point is 01:43:52 for that motherfucker on cranky man. God, giant. He didn't think of me on that shit. But you just ain't out like you can't be in the party. You feel me? All right like you didn't see that shit. But nigger, when they do that shit. If you point that powder out, you'd be amazing.
Starting point is 01:44:06 Powder's not a sociable drug. It'll attract people. See, it ain't like weed. But if you had that one motherfucker don't get fuck who he doing in front of it. And y'all right? Yeah, but then he walked off by ourselves. Somebody goes, hey.
Starting point is 01:44:17 You don't want everybody to see him to do it. And social thing. But you don't see that powder line get along. long you're gonna be a mayor yes it too everybody's over that with a man everybody's gonna fuck that dink they got crumped yeah that bad for me jumping away I remember one time I was at a party no no one was no type of party I took a little bump I ain't like it oh no it's in the hood you gotta know what drug you do fuck that no this party heads get watched you just can't do party and j
Starting point is 01:44:51 be like, then you look up with everybody just. But I saw ya man, bud. What the fuck? What the fuck you've been to do after that? I saw your head, buddy. I got me fucked up. I'm lying.
Starting point is 01:45:04 I don't play those type of game. I was just weed head like a motherfucker. That's why I said, oh. You smoke weed. Too much. Like, how do I smoke weed now? I could never hung with myself back then. Never.
Starting point is 01:45:15 Never. You'd have to have your own weed. Don't ask to hit my blood out of that. You don't fight your blood on any head. Man, go on with your gown. They want to match, want to match. Mm-mm. I can't do that.
Starting point is 01:45:26 I stopped matching my niggas in high school when I realized, niggas who match only, you know that they don't have weed, but they bring two other niggas with their blood. So I got my blunt with you on the match. You got two niggas with you, that's three heads.
Starting point is 01:45:40 This ain't a match. You have fornest me to put my blood with the rest of your three niggas. Yeah. Man, hang on on, man. Niggas said me, I know a nigga that's gonna match us. Well, y'all, we got weed, but come on.
Starting point is 01:45:51 You're not. Come, bro. They have a success. Yeah. Nick, do you like, they have a success. Ain't no session. I'm scared of them, nigga. You got me fucked up.
Starting point is 01:46:01 Keep my weed. Y'all watching me smoke. That's all this happening. I'm trying to tell these nigger, bro, when gas came in the play, bro. Back then when O.G. Cush was out and that perk, you had to have you a bottle or water or something. And you're not fin to smoke in your whole blunt. Hell no. You're gonna hit that bit about three times.
Starting point is 01:46:19 One good pull, but. But three, I'm trying to. If you smoke for real, you're gonna hit that bit by the good one in a half, put that bitch out. But you, nigga, you're crazy. That she used to rock your ass. Oh, that shit, been to bust your chair wide open, but this shit now, we're smoking this shit.
Starting point is 01:46:37 We don't need choke. We don't need to coke. Jeez. They learn how to smoke now. You don't understand when you're young. You don't hold it all in a assy, nigga now. People be underestimating the weed nowadays. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:49 When I had good weed, I don't even. like a nigger Odean on it. Nose just voting to smoke smoke. As soon as I get high, that's it, put it off. Put it out. Yeah, what I'm saying? I just smoked that blunt about two whips. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:47:03 Am I be saying, motherfucking smoking all around. I ain't had. Like, you weren't even in handling. You're just blowing that. Yeah, you're blowing a lot of smoke. Yeah, you're going to. You're doing to. But you know, that's the thing, though, man.
Starting point is 01:47:14 Look, man, let me tell you something. Back then, he right here and lad me all about two weeks. Yeah, that's because it would cost you about $200 50s out. Yeah. You had to re-up before you get some more. You're gonna roll three. I bet you roll three blunts out around.
Starting point is 01:47:29 For show, for show. Oh, hell yeah. Point three, man. Point three, man. And when we made point three fingers. Shit, I cut a blunt half and then rolling. Yeah, point three. Oh, look.
Starting point is 01:47:39 You get the swisher. Split it. You're not just split it. You take the little part. They got the little edge of on end. They all said that. And the bad part. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:49 You know, you're ready. That's really what we did. It's a long mini swisher. It's just almost like another inch longer than a mini swisher. You just ripped that little piece of paper, roll you up your little lot, your point three, and you're in now. You're in the club.
Starting point is 01:48:05 Loud of hell smelling good, boy. Everybody's smoking me in here. I'm talking about you had one little, one little dine sack. One little dine set got the house smelling like a pound in it. Like a pound. That seems to be stanked. Damn.

Starting point is 01:50:31 My name is Nicole Garcia, and on Burn Sage, Burn Bridges, we aim to explore that culture. It was a huge honor to become a television writer because it does feel oddly, like, very traditional. It feels like Bob Dylan going electric, that this is something we've been doing for the kind of years, you carry with you a sense of purpose and confidence. That's Sierra Teller Ornellis, who with Rutherford Falls became the first native showrunner in television history. On the podcast, Burn Sage, Burn Bridges, we explore her story, along with other Native stories, such as the creation of the first Native Comic-Con or the importance of reservation basketball.
Starting point is 01:51:09 Every day, Native people are striving to keep traditions alive while navigating the modern world, Influencing and bringing our culture into the mainstream. I was going to schools to try to teach kids these skills, and I get eye rolling from teachers or I get students who would be like, It's easier to punch someone in the face. When you think about emotion regulation,
Starting point is 01:51:47 you're not going to choose an adaptive strategy which is more effortful to use unless you think there's a good outcome as a result of it if it's going to be beneficial to you. Because it's easy to say like, go blank yourself, right? It's easy. It's easy to just drink the extra beer. It's easy to ignore, to suppress,
Starting point is 01:52:04 seeing a colleague who's bothering you and just like walk the other way. Avoidance is easier. Ignoring is easier. Denials is easier. drinking is easier, yelling, screaming is easy. Complex problem solving, meditating, you know, takes effort. Listen to the psychology podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

It's just going to be good part of the face meat. Because if you think about it, the complicated shit they're trying to make at Taco Bell, They can't do all that. It'll take 10 minutes to get this shit.
Starting point is 01:53:43 They could. You think the motherfuckers really just got steak ready to go? Yeah, steak. Yeah, steak. All it's like the, come on, man. Taco Bill having steak is crazy as fuck. I'm talking about just ready to go on a burrito, no. It's four minutes.

Starting point is 01:55:47 That's how the thing you used to say. All that needed to boil wall. There wasn't no boardwalk. Never even made a ball. Never even print out the board wall. What about the bag of Dorado? Remember, you used to get some shit. Like, the bag of the riddo, you had three, two, one on them.
Starting point is 01:56:03 You could add them up. You could have points. You could take them on the MacDonald. What's your window? Just like a free meal, like with seven points and they're coming with. A small vanilla shake and a small frown. That monopoly for that money, though.
Starting point is 01:56:16 You weren't getting that money. McDonald's, sir, trying to give away a small vanilla shake and a small frass. So they did a thing about that, y'all said. It was a scam.
