Starting point is 00:03:10 I knew he wasn't letting no Mexicans in there. I don't know if seen no black people in Hitchie. I'm flying. I'm playing. He wouldn't let nobody. He should have just turned around. These are stories about white people. That's the Twilight Zone.
Starting point is 00:03:22 They always leaving hoodies behind my shit. He did some Twilight. Tyler. She wanted to be around the weeds smoke too much. Fucked around and got out of second hand. She draped it off like you was James Brown. Right. I need this one.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Hey man, you better stop talking about Hershal Walker too. I heard he then started tuning in. I don't, no, I really don't. Hey man, he can tune in. He's running for public office. He don't want people to talk about what he doing publicly. Don't run for public office, man. Hersch Walker is a local.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Yeah, he's like, he's a football legend and everything. He's not legend and everything, but he running on like the Republican ticket for the Senate, right? I'm, yeah, I just be trying to affirm to myself. He just be on TV and saying, the most incoherent-ass bullshit, Davey. Like what? He gonna fuck around and win because he says such a, it just be incomplete sentences. Like he, he like, he like Trump on an extra five. Like, you know how Trump just be saying,
Starting point is 00:04:25 wild shit. Yeah, it kind of makes sense to somebody. Hersch's shit don't be making sense. To nobody. I don't know how these people fucking with them. Right, right. Yeah. One thing about Donald Trump, though, that motherfucker was always going to make shit
Starting point is 00:04:41 trying to seem better than it was. It could be the worst shit ever. He will show up. The world could be on fire. We got the best firefighters. Everyone relax. We got the best water. You've never seen people.
Starting point is 00:04:55 use water the way we're gonna use water. Everybody died. We got the best undertakers. We got the best caretakers, best hospice care. Best funeral home. It's not gonna cost you anything. Best beds.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Everyone's gonna get some rest. Until it hits home. That motherfucker knew how to look on the bright side. That's funny. In hindsight. In hindsight. But that was just, you know, look over here. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Oh, Trump had his pros and cons. and cons. We ain't gonna discuss them though. That word triggers people there. Yeah. Oh, Trump? Yeah. People get offended nowadays for anything, so you need to discuss what you discuss.
Starting point is 00:05:34 I know, but I definitely don't want them motherfuckers to start watching the show. You say one nice thing. They can't shut you down. I don't want them to shut up down. Just don't want a bunch of motherfuckers with gas station sunglasses following me on social media and shit. I don't make content for those motherfuckers. It's too late. They're already watching.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I know. We watch everything we do. We, you know. Oh, they're on it tough. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What if they've been watching all these episodes and like, here's our chance? Nope, fuck them. No.
Starting point is 00:06:05 That is my... We started, we crank it, or this pre-show? Two moments. Alright. Because I got to tell you about the plan I've been working on. This is the intro mission. I was like, did we start or not? Because I wasn't trying to cover nothing here.
Starting point is 00:06:20 No, this is the vocal warm-up. Okay, I got you. He found the song. Listen. Oh, Joe, I'm an O'G, you fucking with a G.I. Joe. Bia, I'm me, I'm here, oh, I get a psycho. Mariah got shit on me. When I've been tired, I'll be spitting maybe food on people in San Cid's on Red.

Yeah, yeah. We need to talk to him right quick. We need to talk to Marshall. Yeah, we're going to settle some stuff right now, Doug.
Starting point is 00:06:53 You know, I did a joint with Eminem, man. Man, I don't know if you guys remember guilty conscience. I was Eddie in the video. Meet Eddie, about to rob a liquor store. What? And they came out of my body. Yeah, that was me. Yeah, that was back in the day day.
Starting point is 00:07:08 So you probably know cartoons. Oh, yeah, that's the homie. Yeah, yeah, cartoon, my peeps. That's what's up, man. Meet Eddie, 23 years old, about to rob a liquor store. But on his way in, yeah, there's a sudden change of heart. Yeah. And then they pop out and, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Wow. Yeah, yeah. See? That's deep. Yeah, that's my mom that day said I made it. Yeah. That was the day? No, I'm kidding, bro.
Starting point is 00:07:33 You were, you didn't... That was back in the day, though. That was back in the day. You were just starting out or you'd been... You had been grinding for a little minute when you did that. No, I was grinding for a minute at that time, yeah, yeah, yeah. But no, that was just... I only remember that it triggered because he played that song right now, and I was like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:49 That's why you got so much stuff you probably forgot about. Yeah, that was a cool video. We shot that in LA. Dr. Dre and M. Yeah, that was cool. I just think you just got a dope-ass lane. I wish motherfuckers called me every time they needed some black people doing some black people shit.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Hey, call up Lowe's, he'll know what to do. Yeah. Get in there and do something. Come on, man. You don't even got to explain it to him. Just turn on the camera. He knows what to do. It's everything you need, man. It's chicken, horrors, whatever you want.
Starting point is 00:08:22 Get him what he wants. What he wants. You stupid. Get him what he wants. Get him what he wants. Get him. That's funny, bro. You got everything you mean, man.
Starting point is 00:08:31 There's no cops around. That's hilarious. You're straight. Today you can get away with anything. It's your world. Somebody bring him a chopper. Yeah, right here. J-O-M, what's that you was playing?
Starting point is 00:08:44 That's real common and soothing. That's how you feel. Don't get too romantic with the music. See, that's too romantic. See, you gotta, he got an image. Oh, my God. He got a brand, man. I love you guys.
Starting point is 00:09:00 That she got to be gangster, I love, bro, I'm saying. Too R&B. Got a little Cali. I hate that. When I see guys cruising in a car, five guys playing R&B, I'm like, what? You don't want to. It ain't broke back gangsters, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:09:14 He really grew Cali. That's your got to be. No, I'm like, you know, when you first saw that, tell me it didn't throw you off, though. You see five guys rolling hardcore. No. I'm living in Atlanta, you might see five dudes riding around listening to Meg the Stallion.
Starting point is 00:09:29 Not even the radio cuts. I'm like, album cut some shit off the album. To each their own, but I just had to put that on. Yeah, nah, we're also. I don't judge. You definitely put rules on, you know, hold on, man. Don't judge, no fucking play. It don't matter what you're going through.
Starting point is 00:09:45 You try to put on the love songs and shit. Hold up, Doc. I'm like, it's upsetting. quiet storm for by yourself rides. That's funny. That's funny. Man. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:01 You get them, motherfucker, car. They're playing the wrong shit. They make you not even want to ride with them no more. You're like a walk. Yeah, bro. You ever rode with somebody that play all the songs you skipped? That shit makes you feel weird, too. That's funny, right?
Starting point is 00:10:19 One song you hate on that album, like, oh, you got to hit this shit. Like, the one I hate. I heard it. You think you want love for a minute. Trust me, I know. I didn't like it. It's like when you following someone on the ground and they ain't following you back. You're like, what the hell, though?
Starting point is 00:10:33 Then they hit you first. Yeah, you like, no. They tagged you. This don't make, yeah, exactly. This don't make sense. You used me for a tag. They be doing that to you, man. That's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:10:43 Because I already know you get hell of pitches every time you go out. You probably get the lines from the movies. They probably hit you with all that shit, bro. I got in this on there for a second. No. Damn. You're getting high off the second hand. The contact, we got...
Starting point is 00:10:57 That's probably the best hat. All right, before you get high. Welcome back to the 85-self show. Let's go. Let's go. Oh. That's how we go. I was going through the mail the other day, and I just found out we won another award.

Callie Gangsta Flicks and your face ain't up on that goddamn mural, man. Like, for real. You say it's been in business for 30 years when TV was black and white.
Starting point is 00:12:34 That's so hard because 30 years ago TV wasn't even black and white no more. It was silent films, dog. It was silent films, man. Did a film with Charlie Chapman. Ladies and gentlemen. That's a good film. You should have peep it. The introduction don't have to be no longer. other than Noel G. Hey!

Starting point is 00:13:42 That's why it's the trap. I can't complain. Life is good, man. Life is good. Don't damn, shit. Yeah, no one listens anyways. You know, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:50 You know, like we're just straight. We're gonna work on the gas prices and, you know, the violence and shit. I'm gonna make the call, don't trip. I got low friends in high places. I got high friends in low places. Oh, it's backwards. It's backwards. Yeah, my friends have them.
Starting point is 00:14:03 A lot of crackheads. Hey, we put them together. We got something going. High friends and low places. Yeah, half friends and low places. Hey, we just, how about this? We're just lucky to have friends. How about that?
Starting point is 00:14:13 Yeah, yeah. We're just lucky to have friends. Really? You just got new shoes, though? What's up? You got to shoot something? You're shooting? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:22 I'm sorry, man. You have a phone. I didn't even hit the joint and I'm high. Straight up. I gotta get you. You guys should be firemen. No, straight up. The way you looked at me, you looked at me like you know.
Starting point is 00:14:35 No, I was stuck. You looked at me like you thought it was a flat TV question. I didn't watch this think your TV froze, all right? Like I was like, you're shooting and he was like, right now. You got all the cable, like, you don't work. I'm like, damn, all right.
Starting point is 00:14:48 We won't ask you shit. No, no, we're good. It's all good. Just tell us some shit. I'm with it. I'm with it. I'm with it. Yeah, I got, no, let's backtrack.
Starting point is 00:14:57 No, I got done shooting some stuff, yeah. That was up. I was out there in Columbus right there. Smoke that way. Don't get him no higher. No, no, yeah. Let it flow. Let it float.
Starting point is 00:15:06 I ain't even play it. Let it flow. It's all good. Because we recently changed weeds. This show comes a special effects. We had got some weed from some white people. So that's what they do, whether you smoke it or not. That could have been a setup, man.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Be careful when you get it from the white phone. No, they had latex gloves on. Oh, then they straight. That's even worse. No, they had a card and they rode in cursing around. That's too cautious, right? That put the caution sticker out. This is what I smoked?
Starting point is 00:15:29 No, this black people weed. I ordered. That's why you have where you're at. We were out of town. It was in Seattle, but this black people weed. Okay, okay. All right. Okay. Then brothers.
Starting point is 00:15:39 Yeah. White people weed would have been in a box or would have a little bowtie. Yeah. There's black people weed. Yeah, yeah. We don't even know how much in there. We like the package.
Starting point is 00:15:47 They ain't all the same weight. It's supposed to be. It's definitely supposed to me. Some of them bitches is three, some hundred sevens. One of the bitches of chubby. Weed is weed, man. No, it ain't. No, I know, that's true.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Some is bunk. You right. No, it ain't. I got corrected. That's right. It ain't, man. But you're from Kelly, so y'all don't really have no... No, no, be careful.
Starting point is 00:16:13 Go ahead. Y' don't really have no bullshit. Like... Oh, yeah, no, I'm playing. Yeah, okay. We got that stuff to make you fly, literally. I ain't talking about, I ain't talking about the shit smoking on Friday. I won't.
Starting point is 00:16:28 We didn't. Yeah, nah, I was out there for a little bit, but I stayed out there off Western and like Melrose. Oh, yeah, that's what I guess it's like technically Korea town, but yeah. Yeah, he knows so got excited. Korea Town, he ain't said on Korea, though. That's the crazy boss. I ain't never heard nobody shout out of Korea Town. that wasn't Korean.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Everybody in this bitch, how? The audience live. That's what's up. Yeah, man. Or how you get started in the film industry? I was literally a right place, right time story. I was in an acting class with this girl that I was with for a minute. She wanted to be an actress and a model and the whole Hollywood deal.
Starting point is 00:17:11 I was never thinking about it. I was acting a fool. You was just going to make sure she ain't talking no dudes. I was... Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's okay. No, I'm going to read it.
Starting point is 00:17:23 I'm going to read. No, I'm going to read. No, let's go ahead. I got it. No, you get it. I got it. You don't know the situation now. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:17:33 No, no. Multiple choices coming in. It's all good. That's one choice. And I was just there, you know, acting a fool. Literally right place, right? And you know, to win the lottery, you either got to be Mexican or 80 years old close to death.
Starting point is 00:17:48 You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, so I was there. And I had a producer, man. He came up to me after the class, and he was like, hey, man, you're kind of funny, this and that. He's like, you want to be in a Taco Bell commercial. And I was like, oh, because I'm Mexican. Oh, what's up?
Starting point is 00:18:05 And then I was like, no, I can't do that. You know what I mean? That's against my Latino beliefs, my spiritual roots. He told me how much money I was getting paid. And then I said, yeah, I think I could do it. So I did this commercial at the age of 15 years old. where it kicked off. First thing I ever did in my life
Starting point is 00:18:23 was a Taco Bell commercial at the age of 15 years old. But at that time, when I did the commercial, I didn't know about residual checks. I was ignorant to that at that time, you know what I'm saying? I thought it was like, they made sure you were. Yeah, I thought it was like, you gotta work to get paid, work to get paid,
Starting point is 00:18:38 work to get paid, you feel me? And so all these checks started coming in and I thought it was a computer mess up to keep it real. And so when I was cashed in the checks, I had my story for court, they kept on paying me. I don't know. So after it got a little weird, because they were paying me for almost up to a year, they turned that commercial into a radio spot and a TV spot.
Starting point is 00:18:59 So I had both spots, age of 15. They were running, it was for Super Fish Tacos at the time. I called up the manager, and I said, hey, check this out. Dog, why I keep on getting paid for this commercial? And he goes, no, no, that's how actors get paid. I said, what? I said, well, I want to be an actor. And that's how the act is started, go on the side of him on.
Starting point is 00:19:19 So I hit, you know, at that time I hit a little baby lottery. And then I called up the, I called up the dude. And I was like, yo, and he's like, I like you, man. He goes, I'm going to hook you up with a manager friend. And I said, all right, cool. So I go meet this manager. I come in like this. I don't know nothing from nothing, you know.
Starting point is 00:19:39 I'm just whatever, whatever. Let's have about to start going in. And homie was like, man, I like you. Like you cool. I'm going to see what I can do for you. But then everything he started sending me out on was Gangster One, Trigger, Cholo. I was like, what? I grew up like this in real life. I thought I was here to act. Yeah. And so that's how it kicked off, man. I mean, I've been to college once. I had to drop
Starting point is 00:19:57 somebody off. But that's how it popped up. There's some balls up there. You should have went a butt. You know you find them in church or the library, dog. Come on, only. But, um, so that's how it kicked off, man. And then ever since then, I've been doing the joint about 30 plus years. That's good. Yeah. So, that's what I'm. From the taco bin to. Taco Bell just launched it, man. But it was funny because... You remember what you did in it? Man, I played a, like, a dumb little kid on the beach. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:29 That's because it was for the Superfish tacos. So I just... But back then, I know this is hard to believe. I was an ugly little kid back then. I'm just playing. But I had scraggly hair. I had an acne problem. Makeup made me look fresh.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I just did my thing, whatever. But, yeah, I played a dumb little kid on the beach, you know? Yeah. So that's what happened. And then... But it was funny because, like, for the first eight years, of my career, it took me eight years to get my first movie. So for the first eight years of my career, I did joints with like, if you got hired at Burger King, I was like the one
Starting point is 00:20:58 like this is how you rap a hamburger. In the training video? Boy, you know how many people that's all that, bro. But back then they were... She and me, because you have to watch them videos to get a raise. That's what, to get a job. No, so they had to watch it just to get a job. When they hired you at Burger King, right, the more shit that, like, back when I worked there, the more shit you learn how to do, right? You can get like a raise for all this shit. So like if you start off in the kitchen, right, you just know how to cook that shit. Like, if you learn how to make a milkshake,
Starting point is 00:21:27 they could put that on your shit and they had to pay you for that. Yeah, but you worked for real? For real, that's good. Oh, that's what's up. That's what's up. No, I got you. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Well, I'm the one you saw on the training video. You showed you had to wrap a wapper, man. No, they got a whole bunch. Rapp would be loose and shit if you ain't, if this motherfucker ain't, if this motherfucker ain't, they started to wrap the wopper. Hey, they started to tape them now, bro. You straight.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Yeah. They're probably lazy. They're folding techniques have got better. No, this is the shit they used to give people, right? When motherfuckers used to work at McDonald's and then come working at Burger King, they'd be rapping the shit wrong. The manager snapped one, they were like,
Starting point is 00:22:01 hey, we don't do that shit over here. Oh, that was a different style. We don't wrap our burgers like that. You take that shit back up the street. Bad about some McDonald's here. Not for real, because they'll grab that. Nah, we don't do that. They came and said, you were a person.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Those are standard operating procedures. So the burger places be banging on each other. Oh, man. All day, yeah. You came in as an enemy. Oh, man. Oh, man. And you know what's crazy, though, you brought up Taco Bell.
Starting point is 00:22:33 The Burger King, I worked in, it was a Taco Bell across the street. If we ran out of some shit, like lettuce or some shit. Oh, we'd go borrow it. Man, they would just throw us two lattices to a winters back. Just across the street, too, right? Yeah, I was like, and then we all working there, like, Who the fuck knew Taco Bell and Burger King had the same lettuce? They got the same everything.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Taco Bell only got five ingredients, period. Taco Bellin's? What the thing? What the fuck out, cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato, beans, and different types of shells. But for the most part, I mean, you know, we put this shit, Gordina, we'd throw it in a tulipa. That's a little ingredients, though.
Starting point is 00:23:21 That's funny, bro. Wait, hold on, hold on, just the real test right here. You know the shells? Yeah. What are they? You know, they got the, they got the crispy. That shit coming broken. You ain't never get, if you bought a one Christmas
Starting point is 00:23:35 top of it, it ain't never gonna be together, bro. So you ain't never got a complete Christmas shelf? It chipped or something. It's chipped on top. It's got a whole crack down the bottom. All right. And they got the board eat this. And that shit looked, that shit like some goddamn jockey
Starting point is 00:23:48 That's why you get the soft, bro. You get a complete shit. I get the soft. You get the soft. You get a blanket. Chalupa got bumps on it. The chalupa, it's got a little fried. It's got blue jeans pockets.
Starting point is 00:24:01 They're giving away expired chalupas? Come on, man. Yeah, man. Nah, that's just wrong. Yeah, chalupas feel like the little blue jean pocket right here. The same texture. Rivets. That's pretty deep, man.
Starting point is 00:24:15 That's some tacos. We fucks with it. We went underneath. on that one. That's what we do here. Starting point is 00:27:26 And then everybody else want to get pissed off because the wife said it was okay. Problem. My oldest daughter, her first day in ninth grade, and I called to ask how I was going. She was like, oh, dad, all they were doing was talking about your thing in class. I ruined my baby's first day of high school. And slumflower.

Starting point is 00:28:30 or wherever you listen to podcasts. So what was your first movie? You know, my first movie, it was funny, man. So it took me eight years to get my first joint. And I thought, you know, it was going to fly. It was with iced tea, actually. and a machete Danny Trail Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:28:49 And it was called No Mother's Crying No Baby's Dime But that thing didn't even make it To Jane's videos It didn't make it to the girl Who sells the stolen DVDs and T.J It just didn't go in there. It never came out.
Starting point is 00:28:59 It's probably in the Walmart bin, though. You know, the Bean? No, it didn't even make it there, damn, it never came out. And I remember I was working at the time at Kmart. I was working there for like a year I quit my job to do that movie and that movie just never took off.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Damn. So that was my first. joint, never got seen. If they got it, it's on VHS, maybe even beta. Well, you know, once you blew up and then Ice Tea blew up, they probably put your face. Ice T was already, Ice T was already on at that time. He did like the whole soundtrack on the joint. He was already on. So the soundtrack didn't come out either? Huh? Nah, that didn't even pop off either. Yeah, well, he only made one or two songs for that movie back then, yeah. But that, yeah, that was the first movie I ever did in my life. So that movie didn't go. But my first movie ever in theater,
Starting point is 00:29:45 was an Adam Sandler joint. It was Animal with Rob Schneider and Adam Sandler. Oh, yeah, yeah. That tour was in there. I had like three lines in that joint, but, you know, at that time, it was like a big little moment.
Starting point is 00:30:01 That's when, you know, theaters were popping and stuff. Like, I went to the theater five times to go see that. Yeah. Yeah, just to go see the crowd's reaction. I was like, that's me on the screen, what's up? You know?
Starting point is 00:30:10 But after you do it for a while, you just get used to it, you know? Right. Yeah, yeah. But that was the first one in theater. and then kind of the roller coaster started from there. That's great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Consistent though, man. What you think that key is for you, man? Like, how do you, what would you tell people that want to do acting that want, I'm talking about me? Yeah, no, I got you, bro. I make a phone call for you. You don't even got to go through that. Man, listen. We just expedite you.
Starting point is 00:30:35 I'm going to hold you to that. Yeah, you straight. No, I'm just playing. Remember all the friends we got. We can make your career pop like that. Come on, I'm saying. You mean we? We.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Well, you're the one without credit. And then they don't, and then they don't call. I'm just saying what you're going to say to him. You cut me off, bro. I'm not saying, we, just me. I was just you. Make the call twice. Or just say both of our names when you get them on the phone.
Starting point is 00:31:00 Yeah, one call that's off. Yeah. Well, what's the key for you? No, I just tell people straight up, man, treat people with respect. Yeah. And just love on people and be nice. I don't care if you're the craft service guy,
Starting point is 00:31:13 the wardrobe guy, the director of the. the film, just treat everybody polite and nice and give them love, you know what I'm saying? And that's what keeps you floating. Yeah. Nobody like that person that come to set and make everybody feel fucked up. Right now, I just did a movie and I'll just make this short, but I did this movie just last year in December. And the first AD that was on that flit committed suicide two months after the joint. That's dark, is it? So you just never know what someone's going through is my point. So just treat everybody polite, you know? Because sometimes people front on front street, but behind doors, they're someone else.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Yeah. So I just say, be nice to everybody, man. Love everybody. That's real. I wasn't even thinking that's serious. That's fucked up. Because I was just thinking, you know, the person that was the assistant one day, they'd be directing a movie later. So I'll give you one small example.
Starting point is 00:32:05 One time I was on a TV show, and I wasn't hitting on or nothing, you know what I'm saying? So I just won't clear that up. I was being just, you know, me laughing, joking, whatever. we two weeks into the joint and then she goes and she's the wardrobe girl and then she goes man I like you
Starting point is 00:32:20 I'm gonna tell my dad to give you a bigger part and I was like your dad I go who's your dad the executive producer and I was like oh what okay I was like all right cool but it was cool because you don't know who's who's related
Starting point is 00:32:33 to what or you get what I'm saying and her dad he told her like your career is going to be easier because I'm your dad of course but I'm not going to hand it to you on a silver platter, you're still going to earn it. That's why she would-
Starting point is 00:32:47 Stop telling kids that. Everybody want motherfuckers' ass shit to keep knowing in a soft woman, man, he's jacking up a woman. That's what you're going to do? Put somebody on. Just fuck that. Give it to them, right? Get it to them.
Starting point is 00:32:59 And then wonder why they act spoils. Look, and kids, that's the way. You're running for president. I vote for you. I want that many. You got to make a work somewhere. I want that if motherfuckers really be doing that, no. No, but that's how I went.
Starting point is 00:33:12 I can't even make that up, but yeah, that's how I was called. So I was like, yeah. So that's what I tell people, man. That's how you stay consistent. That's how you stay afloat. And why would you want a reputation, a dirt following you around anyways? Yeah, yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:33:28 So yeah. Got to have a clean reputation. That's our knowledge Tuesday for you right there. Yeah. And now you know. And knowing is half the battle. There you go. That's a commercial, doc.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Yeah, Joe said that. That word. Did you? Yeah. I believe you. I wouldn't lie to you. I know. That's a bad way to start a friendship.
Starting point is 00:33:46 I know. Come on, dog. I'm reading the same book. I'm too old to be out here lying. I don't give a fuck enough to laugh. You want me both. I just say shit. You got to, I know.
Starting point is 00:33:56 That's how it's supposed to be. If you don't want me to say shit, don't bring me ground shit. Don't even be in a circle. Don't invite me. Don't invite me. Some stuff is just better love. No, I ain't out here. throwing shit out like giving you know unsolicited opinions and shit but when it's my turn to tell you
Starting point is 00:34:17 don't fucking respect my shit like I respected the shit that you brought me around I'm on the same page I get yeah I agree I concur I get it so we were on the internet fucking around right uh-huh and then like oh here we're I don't even know if this shit is real but this it's like Wikipedia got your credits uh-huh and they got you like 30 characters the same name yeah Yeah, no, man. That's real? That's real? That's real?
Starting point is 00:34:44 No, it's... You know what's funny? Man, I don't even want to put it out there, but I'm put it out there. This last movie I just did right now that I finished yesterday, I was Hector. I was... Well, is it in your contract that you gotta be... I can't even make that up, doc, straight up. Somebody at your age is...
Starting point is 00:35:01 You know he's Hector, right? Oh, yeah. If it... What's that saying, if it's not broke on Facebook or whatever? No, the dope shit is... If you have... Hector in all their movies, that mean all their movies in the same universe.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Stop, fucking. Play some twilight zone right there. Give me a little twilight zone if you got it. Give me a little twilight zone real quick. Every movie where you, Hector, that means. It's coming, it's coming. Hold up, it's coming. Oh, okay, never mind.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Boy, they're gonna have Hector Marathons where they just watch all the movies. So the way that Hector happened straight up, and this is the BTS, if I'll say it again, and I'll make it quick, was it's not like I'm calling up my manager. If I'm not Hector, I'm not in the movie. That just literally happened coincidentally. I would at this point.
Starting point is 00:35:52 No, that's what I did. No, that's what I do sometimes. Fuck that shit. Yeah, sometimes, no, sometimes I get into it. Sometimes the name be stupid. I ain't doing the damn movie. I'm down, holy. I'm like, what do you mean I in Hector?
Starting point is 00:36:04 Kind of bullshit movie is this. So who the fuck I was supposed to be? Yeah, I know. James. Who the hell? Why am I playing? Yeah, I thought I was here, man. The act and beat me.
Starting point is 00:36:14 No, hell no, man. In Hollywood, bro, they only know two names for Mexican actors, man. Hector and Carlos. That's it. But then it got like that later. I started doing what you said. And the rest of the joints, I said, nah, can you try to make an actor?
Starting point is 00:36:30 Oh, that's right. Carlos is... I didn't even put two or two together, now. Who's gonna be the motherfucker that dude is? Hold up. the look again we're gonna do it one more time so in hollywood they only know two names for mexican actors bro hector and carlos oh oh oh there it is that we're using that tape
Starting point is 00:36:55 with my man that right there with the hoodie on say something while i'm doing my shit i dare you november 5th november 5th dc just walked back in the building he forgot something november 5th 22 i met the ball guitar in atlantic city for one show headlining That's right. But we're in there. Make sure you get your tickets. And last but not least, November 25th through the 22nd, 27, excuse me, 2020. I'm at the improv in Tampa, Florida for five shows. That's right.

Time to start pitching ideas. I'm thinking buddy cop. Yeah, come on, man. Come on, man. That works. Give up your profile. Give up your profile. Come on, man. New tango and cash. Come on, man. We come to agreement. We come to agreement to split the work 50-50. Come on, man. See? Yeah. Yeah. No, no, now I'm Carlos, and he had to. That's why one thing I got, the hat didn't give that away.
Starting point is 00:38:46 This the moment right here. The hat didn't give me that way, what's up? I was like, damn, come on, Jay. Look, me a hat. I thought the hat gave it away, don't. Watch this. This is how we living. I'm gonna put this on better because I got a big hat.
Starting point is 00:38:57 I bet. Yeah, I'm sorry, I got a jack in the box. My dad. This is how we living over here in the track. Shit hard. What's up? Now, now it's game on. Oh, shit hard.
Starting point is 00:39:08 There you go. Game over. Look it up. In the field. Got a new head already. There it is. Hey man. Welcome back to the 85 show show. Please, God.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Welcome back to the 85 show show. Let's go. That's lost. That's crazy. I was like. Yeah. I like that. That was a moment right there.
Starting point is 00:39:32 That one worked. Man, we out here with it. Oh, that's love, man. Man, we got to ask you about the training day shit because that's the one. That's the one. That's what's up, yeah. That's the one. I knew it was coming.
Starting point is 00:39:42 You knew it? Come on, man. Y'all won all kinds of awards and shit for that movie. Yeah, I think, you know, personal opinion. I think Denzel should have won the award long time ago before Training Day. Yeah. But I'm just happy that it was on my movie. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:39:57 Yeah. So there's a couple things about that one. That was the first movie ever that Denzel played a bad guy. Yeah. So that's number one. I thought he should have won it for Hurricane. That's just my... Hurricane was cold.
Starting point is 00:40:08 Hurricane was straight. Malcolm X was crazy. Malcolm X, that's another one. Let me finish, bro. No, I'm just kidding. I'm like, damn, doc, I was building, bro. I was building. I was building.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Yeah, I was building, gee, damn. I feel like, as good as he is. He should win some kind of award for every fucking movie. He, uh, yeah, so that was, that was that flick right there. But, um, that scene was crazy because, Denzel got sick and when you Denzel you can call in sick to Hollywood you feel I'm saying when you know well gee you can't you guys show up sick or not I could be on the death not these days not these days you better not sure they don't
Starting point is 00:40:51 work around it yeah and this ain't a job where it's like you know someone could replace you whatever whatever yeah but Denzel got sick so anyways my point he called in sick I don't know what happened when but something was going on with him he wasn't feeling right so we shot that scene I was only supposed to work on the movie for one week because they were supposed to shoot it from Monday to Friday and finish it. But because Denzel got sick, I got seven weeks out of the movie and they shot it every first Monday. So that was a hard scene to do, dog, because we came in Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, Monday, and then on the last Monday, we came in on Tuesday, we finished the scene. So what I'm saying has...
Starting point is 00:41:34 I'm happy. You said on the last Monday you came in on Tuesday. They came in, they did the Monday and the Tuesday. Yeah, on that, on the last Monday, they did it. They threw a Tuesday in there, half a Tuesday, yeah. So. I was with it. Yeah, I know. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:41:49 That made about as much sense as Dry Walker, I get it. I get it. But no, so, you want the details. Damn. Yeah, you want the five print. Where was you? He was the five print. I know, right?
Starting point is 00:42:05 Last Monday. I'm like, damn, homie and Corrie. What? What's up? It was Tuesday on the Monday. Yeah. We were making the days up as we went along. No, that's dope.
Starting point is 00:42:17 But I mean, that's how hard it was to shoot that scene, because imagine starting it on a Monday and trying to get back in the same fill a week later, a week later, a week later, a week later like that. We shot that on a soundstage, so they had to keep the continuity and all that. But if you look closely, you could catch some, you know, some mess-ups or whatever. Yeah. So that's how we shot that scene. So the training day joint was, and you know, you're in a movie with Denzel, man, you want to be on your A game. You feel me? You don't want to mess that up, dog. So I was right there, like, I had to bring my A game on that one. Yeah. Yeah. So, but that's the joint. That's right there with the, you know, the Goodfellas and the Scarfaces. And that goes right there. Right there. Right there. Right up there. Yeah. Yeah. The scene was similar to Scarface when y'all got him in that bathroom.
Starting point is 00:43:04 Yeah. Until the little, you know what I'm saying? He was a cop. Someone had to do it, you know? Yeah. It was LAPD, bro. You know how that goes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:13 That's the only thing that saved them. Yeah, really. You know? That's the only thing that saved him. Right, right. Yeah, that was, but that movie was a classic. Yeah, he dropped them off with the woods. You know, that movie, I'm just saying, you know that movie was actually based
Starting point is 00:43:28 on true events, right? And at first it was called Rampart because Rampart was the most crooked police department in L.A. But Rampart came at them and said, if you call it Rampart, we're going to sue you guys because you can't stereotype just one police department like that. So they had to
Starting point is 00:43:44 switch the name. And so anyways, that's why it was called Training Day. So, yeah, which I think was a better name anyways. Yeah, no, it was way better. It was way, you would call that shit Rampart. I wouldn't have went to see that shit. That's what I'm saying. I'm not going to see no But they got a rampart movie now, right?
Starting point is 00:44:00 Oh, they had, yeah. They got like a Netflix rampart movie. Oh, no, I thought you were talking about another joint. They have another rampart movie with Ice Cube and Woody Harrelson. Hell yeah, that's the one. Yeah, yeah. Okay, bet. I think they got a knockoff point.
Starting point is 00:44:13 But they cut my part out, man. I was hurt, bro. Yeah, I was in that joint. I had a scene with Woody, but it was crazy. The director, when I was on that, his name was Orrin. He said, because, you know, I never had it. Like, everyone directs a different way, right? So on this one, I was like, you know, I'm going to go say what's up to Woody and rehearse.
Starting point is 00:44:32 He's like, no, I don't want you to meet Woody. And I was like, what? And he goes, yeah, you're just going to meet him when you do the scene. I'm going to say action. You guys are both going to jump in and just start doing her scene like that. Just cold turkey raw. And then later, I was like, damn, that's why that shit got cut out. Right.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Right. Who fuck are you? Who the fuck are you for 10 minutes? Right. I don't know you. Man, I don't know you. Man, I don't know. The script supervisor.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Like, where's this dialogue? Damn, this ain't working. But yeah, man, so I got some wild stories. That's crazy, bro. Like, I know you guys do, too. Tell me one of your joints, bro. What's one of your, like, wildest, like, crazy moments like that just threw you in left field besides all of them.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Give me the special one. One that just took you off track. Like, where you were already high, but it made you higher. Oh, man. Or actually, I take that back. Were you already high and it was so out there, it sobered you up. Man, I think about the, probably like, man, shit don't be really too wild. It's just be weird.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Tell me a weird one then. Man, one night I had a show in West Virginia, and it wasn't shit to do after the show. And I was like, you mean to tell me, ain't shit open here? Like literally nothing. Right, right. And then it's like, oh, it's this one spot. They got some good food. You'll love it.
Starting point is 00:45:54 You got arrested? Nah. So they pull up, man. It's like this house on the hill, but it's like converted to like a bed and breakfast type shit. Oh, yeah. But it's like a club, kind of. So we go in the shit, like upstairs, they got to like regular, like it's just like a house, but you can just sit down. They got a few tables and you order your food and shit, right? But then like downstairs, they got like this old as post-Civil War type ass bar and shit. It's like a real live speak easy, and then you go down there, it's like a whole ass bar in these people house, and it's like these old people who'd just be cooking breakfast for motherfuckers all night,
Starting point is 00:46:34 but they'll let you like, they act like they don't know what the fuck going down in the basement, but then they had all these pictures and all like these old-ass football teams, and I was like, wait a minute. Nika, they were a vampire. Wait a minute, all along. I'm talking about, like, a hundred years is like,
Starting point is 00:46:51 a black twelfilers. A hundred years of, like football teams, I was like, wait a minute. And I started looking and I started pointing out it was always one black dude on the team. And I was just like, this is some of the strangest shit I ever seen. I don't even, it was so strange,
Starting point is 00:47:08 I don't even know if that shit was real. Very strange. And then once it hit me that like, something is not right about this, let me get the fuck out of here. And then I left and like. How long did that take? A long-ass time,
Starting point is 00:47:24 because it felt like all the way in the basement. And then when I was leaving, I was like, damn, I don't remember this shit having about 42 steps. Because it was literally like a dungeon, so I'm trying to leave nice-na- shit, because I'm panicking at this point, like this could be where they steal people at.
Starting point is 00:47:43 This could be get out. And nobody would ever look in West Virginia. Where? Yeah. That's the only the strangest shit that ever happened. That's why I don't really fuck them around too tough. Yeah, yeah. Because so much weird little shit could happen.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Right, right. You stay neutral. All kind of strange shit. You ever walk too far down Bourbon Street? Nah. I ain't, don't ever do that. They play a different type of bounce music. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Yeah, you don't know exactly where you need to turn around it. You got one under your belt? Like, wild this? I ain't got, that's too weird. I ain't got no weird. That sounds like some movie shit. I'm waiting on the Twilight Zone at some point, dog. Yeah, I kick it in.
Starting point is 00:48:22 on some story. My wild this shit just, you know, was, you know, because you're here, so you know, you're in the movie field. My shit was, I got to work on Bad Boys 3,
Starting point is 00:48:31 so I was punching up some shit on the script and stuff, and I was just on set for like 30 days. You know, I was able to, like, throw little shit out there. See, so your career already started, dog, you said,
Starting point is 00:48:41 you know, I ain't say it didn't start. No, okay. Oh, okay. He didn't finish. The motherfucker's a star. That'd be the problem. Like, I thought I'm taking off, and it'd be like,
Starting point is 00:48:49 kunk, kunk, kink, and you came back. Yeah, we got to keep you moving up. Yeah, I'm trying to stay back. Yeah, we've got to get you a new ride. No, it's not going down. It's not going down, but it's steadily going up. But just the consistency that you be in stuff, I got to tip my head, bro.
Starting point is 00:49:06 No, thank you, gee. That's what's up. That's love, man. Thank you. Yeah, that's a fun business, man. I like it because it's never the same thing. Get to meet new people like you guys, you know? Like, it's always something different.
Starting point is 00:49:18 Ain't nothing wrong with the 9 to 5. It's just not for me because I'm all over the place. Come on, man. But I like it. You work more hours than that. Because you never know what you're walking into, you know what I'm saying? With this business, you never know what you're going to get on, you know. So I like the business.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Nine to five wouldn't be that bad if they didn't hire people who thought they could tell you what to do. We work more than nine to five though and what we do. No, I know. You should have 16 our days. I know you didn't have 16. Yeah. No, the longest I did was 24 one time. I kid you not.
Starting point is 00:49:48 We started at 8 a.m. and finished at 8 a.m. They had to pay you more? was in your uh no no yeah they do the OT and all that yeah you get all that mm-hmm but we know we were stuck in a car for almost seven hours filming the scene in the car feeling a scene dog yeah you don't even think about that shit that's fucked up bro yeah no we yeah we were passing the piss pot you know we had no other choice yeah it was like that but yeah yeah I know that's how many people think your name is really hector I'm about to change it to that for real
Starting point is 00:50:17 about to go to the DMV and sign some new paperwork where no I was playing But, no, a lot of people, yeah. I'd be in a mall. They'd be like, Hector. I'm like, what's up? What's up? They don't like Fast and Furious 36, man. When are they going to call you back?
Starting point is 00:50:32 I don't know. I'm not even, man, I put it out there because I'm not a Fast and Furious fan, bro. That's what happened. Yeah, it got two Jet Lee meets Mission Impossible, Transformers meets Ramble. Yeah, when they start jumping, cause it from... When they went to Space in part nine,
Starting point is 00:50:47 like, come on, I'm like, come on, dude. Tell me, I'm like, I'm like, Tell me I'm lying, though. That movie went into left field. Part 10 is going to be cars underwater. Part 11 is cars meet Jurassic Park, part 12. So your car can't do a flip? It got retarded, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:05 Nah, when they do the next one, it's going to be a horror film. It's just going to be a motherfucker. That's what I'm saying. Filling up the tank, the whole movie. No, they can. The gas price is too hot. They were catching people with cars. They're going to be on bikes, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:19 Going full speed. The gas price is. jacked them up. Man, I put so much gas in my truck. I'm a fan of the first one, because that was, you know, a little more original to the point. I was in part one and seven. The first one I like, because I mean, that's stuck to the point, whatever, but now it just got
Starting point is 00:51:33 way too out there. They're going to bring you back now, that's a building. Yeah. And they're going to get you a lot of money to them. But, you know, until you're signing the contract, talk is talk. Oh, they say. Talk is cheap. Right? That's why motherfuckers got so much to say.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Yeah, I know. They can afford it. I'm a goddamn light of a girl. Oh, they, uh... Let me get a lighter. I have no idea. Oh, there you go. I forgot what I was going to say. Fast and furious was hard, though, bro.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Oh, yeah, no. Fast and Ferrior. Yeah, part one was cool. Yeah. And then part two kind of went into left field. Part four, they tried to kind of bring it back. They said they're going to make a TV series now and go back to the original. So I'm seeing if they go with that. If they go with that, I'm supposed to be in it.
Starting point is 00:52:19 But like I said, until you get a call, It's all talk. It's a whole universe, though. Yeah, yeah. I bet it go. Yeah, it just got too. Fast and Furious, though, is the most money-making franchise
Starting point is 00:52:32 for Universal Studios. So no movie or franchise that Universal Studios has ever done has not made more money than Fast and the Furious for Universal. Like Harry Potter's is for Warner Bros. Universal's is Fast and the Furious. But, you know, sometimes...
Starting point is 00:52:48 I'm a fan of the... Jack? Why I'm a fan of the movie? I'm trying to be in it, too. Whatever they do, next time when the car... You go to this? I'm back this for me? Well, let me pitch this to you, because we write films over here, too. All right. We're going to just take it all the way back
Starting point is 00:53:07 to, you know, the black community. We ain't got our chance to do our volume of Fast and Furious. So we're going to do a series of films called... I mean, speed up, but the police out here. And I already wrote the first five of them. Movies or TV show?
Starting point is 00:53:26 It's a movie. So it's a saga? It's all about minorities. Racing and driving and shit. We're doing all types of stunts. Kidnapping scene, explosion, traffic, gas prices. Got to throw the gas prices in there. All the types of, like, it's tender moments.
Starting point is 00:53:45 It's all types of shit. This shit hard, too, bro. There's some love scenes. Man, what? The girl who worked in there. You get the parts stuff. Right. Fat little ass on it.
Starting point is 00:53:55 3D. I'm talking about she, everybody love interest. You feel me? Yeah, right. Everyone trying to get it. But then somebody has, I don't want to pitch it all the way to you, because we'll fuck around in this shit being on stars or some shit. We got a lot of movies.
Starting point is 00:54:10 We got a lot of movies with cars. Yeah. Hey, you only live once, man. Do it all. Do it all. What the fuck? That can't. Finally?
Starting point is 00:54:19 That was a test run. Finally? You gotta hit it at the right moment. Man, get on your shit, man. We heck been in here with us today, bro. Pull it together, man. You can't came to work drunk. That's why I ain't open this Jack.
Starting point is 00:54:33 We got our own customized Jack Daniels bottle. You see that. Oh, that's what's all, shout out to the good people over there. One Music Fest. We got to print it right there, get close up on that. One Music Fest, grab you some tickets. That's when you know it's real. Newface, who's gonna be there this year?
Starting point is 00:54:50 Why this thing got Sea Monkeys on the? bottom though what's the night oh he left new face just slid out of here uh-uh-uh-uh-uh he saw almighty oh yeah I didn't want to get personal bro I wouldn't even go to the zoo no more it's that bad why none no I'm just kidding I'm just kid yeah and happened at the zoo the zoo he didn't see the joint did you see Bruce Almighty no I'm just saying like oh yeah no because they had a yeah like in real life but yeah yeah I'm I didn't even want to say it, because I hear it every day, but I said it.
Starting point is 00:55:26 They had, uh, you shouldn't ask. That's the kind of shit you wanted, man, look, man. Don't you? Yeah, no, no. That's why you shouldn't answer everything. Jim. Well, Jim Carrey came out of Rhino's ass. Huh?
Starting point is 00:55:40 He came out of Rhino's ass. Jim Carrey did? Yeah, and in the one movie. What was that? Oh, in the old Ace Ventured. Oh, yeah, so no wonder why he got his revenge. Yeah, he did. On me, or on someone, but it happened to be me.
Starting point is 00:55:54 I got handicapped parking after that. Oh. Two to three months. Yeah. Yeah, so that movie there, well, the way they did that scene was they had a cage with no door on it, and they made an oversized pair of pants with Velcro, and the monkey came out on a sound cue. And I just had to make the face, and you put it together, and there you go. Wow.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Damn. Yeah, they had, they had 27 monkeys on set because they didn't know which monkey was going to cooperate. Damn. That's true. Don't see monkeys uncooperative. Hey, I just worked for FedEx. I just don't know when you boys sitting in that.
Starting point is 00:56:38 No, I'm being straight. I can't even come up with these stories. I can't even come up with these stories. We don't know which monkey. I can't even make this stuff fun. And how you pick the monkey? But you know what's funny? You even going to think I really made this up when I didn't.
Starting point is 00:56:50 It worked on the third monkey. The third monkey was a charm. The white lady who trained the monkey, she knew exactly which one to get. Eli's really eager today. I think he's going to do it. I don't know about Bono. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:57:04 Bono, he's been cranky. He's an old man. The first two didn't go. The first two would work. And action. Elsa's a maybe. They sat there. Elsa didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Nope. Nah. The third one was a hit, though. Eli? Jump right in. I got about four takes and wrapped up a day. Even smiled in the camera. Did you see that when he looked back and smiled?
Starting point is 00:57:25 All right. I caught the smirk off my peripheral. Yeah. Yeah. After all these films you have done, what's left? What do you want to do? What's your idea of role at this point? You know, you know what I want to put together to keep it 100?
Starting point is 00:57:40 Keep it 100? There's a Mexican version of Friday. It's never been done before. Who would you put in it? What's Friday, me, or can that? I don't know. Well, part one. This Wednesday, I'm a fan to be an original.
Starting point is 00:57:52 What's Friday? That's a friend. Yeah, you never heard of Friday? Me either, man. I just came out of that. No, he meant like, the act, whatever. Who would you put in that bitch? That I haven't figured out yet, though,
Starting point is 00:58:04 because there's a lot of newcomers that are coming up on the way, and I would slap some of them up in there. I think sometimes, this is just my two cents, you know. I think sometimes movies with too many, quote-unquote celebs in it doesn't work sometimes. I like it sometimes when there's one or two sprinkled with a bunch of newcomers on the way up. That's just me sometimes. But some movies work with a lot, but some don't.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Like The Departed, that one worked. That had a lot of A-listers in there. That one worked. But, yeah, I want to make an authentic hood, L.A. comedy just like Friday, because we never had that before. What's that? I want to make a Mexican version of Friday, a Mexican version of Menace of Society. Stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:58:50 And I think those will hit because we never had, you know, the real deal yet. Let's see. What do you say would be the closest to the real deal for the Mexican hood? Blood in, blood out. That's the closest. Yeah, blood in blood out.
Starting point is 00:59:04 That was, but then, you know, that got into the prison scene. It got too weird. And then it mixed up, you know what I'm saying? But, you know, American Me was cool. It had its moments, There was more was, but there was one part in there that was kind of argumentative. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:25 I put it out there like that. Yeah. But yeah, I think if we did a... Pop hat was a lowdowns, motherfucker. Yeah, don't kill, don't look at me, puppy. Don't look at me puppy. But I think... That was, yeah, well that was blood and blood out.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Yeah, yeah, that's my sure. That's what's... That's what's up. Welcome to Pretty Private with Ebeney, the podcast where silence is broken and stories are set free. Starting point is 01:04:14 Cap G? Cap G. Yeah. It's a moment. basic people that need to be out through that. Y'all gotta have somebody keep from it. You gotta put Chingo Bling in there then. Chingo Bling the homie.
Starting point is 01:04:26 Yeah, Ching'Bling. Be Real gotta be in there. Oh, be real man, though. Yeah, those are the homers right there. The whole Cypress Hill got in there. Cheech and Chong, they gotta be somebody. They gotta play the fathers and shit, yeah. Might well get George Lopez slide through.
Starting point is 01:04:41 Hell yeah. We got, we got a bunch of candidates out there to keep it 100. Let's help you. I think you gotta write movie first we fuck with y'all too yeah no no it yeah I got some thoughts I got some thoughts I'm probably is you gotta put Lala in there she's Spanish too I'm lazy to right that's my party B Cardi B got to be in there see Dominican that Joe he got to go in there these are some potentials before that Joe got
Starting point is 01:05:10 got to be all Latino oh no noori ain't got to be in there you got to throw Norie in there yeah oh Norrie yeah no yeah and guess who else you got to put in that bitch. Smoky Suarez. He got to go in there. Is Norrie the homie? Nori, though. I did a movie with Norrie, man. It was funny. I know you did. You bring this up to Norrie, man. He got-tham. Make some noise for Norie. Yeah, I said I drink. I did a zombie movie with him.
Starting point is 01:05:39 Yeah, dog. Me and him were the homies running from the zombies. This was back in the day, they, day. I'm talking about 2002. Yeah, we shot. it and it was funny man it was with Noriega though yeah yeah we had a good time on that one yeah he was dope as hell as paper soldiers we were some prisoners that we got away and we went into some cowboy town and they all turned into zombies on us and then just cleaned house or what's the craziest script you know the black guy the Mexican always die first in a movie oh so you y'all made it yeah no hell no we made it through 45 minutes of the flick what norie was saying that was it was zombies was chasing
Starting point is 01:06:18 They were cracking jokes all day. Holy guacamole. I was smoking with him. That was back then. We were lit. Holy mother, guacamole monster almost got me. Yeah, yeah. Tell Noria, I said, what's up?
Starting point is 01:06:32 I haven't talked to him in a minute. Damn, man. Yeah, drink champs. That's his new deal. Yep. You still watch a lot of movies and shit? I think, to be honest, man, just to keep it 100. I don't think they make movies like they used to.
Starting point is 01:06:47 used to, it's hard to find a good flick nowadays. I was asking, what's the wildest script that you got that you had to pass on? She laughed because we just talked about this on the way here. Damn, it was recent. Yeah, no, it wasn't recent, but we just, it was funny, we just talked about this literally. To each their own, no judgment.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Oh, shit. Here we go. I'm like, you know, Dave Chappelle, you ain't putting the dress on the black guy. You ain't putting the dress on the Mexican guy either. At least this one. So I wouldn't do, again, to each their own, no judgment. Just putting that out there.
Starting point is 01:07:22 But I wouldn't play a gay guy. I wouldn't play a role that molest children. And I wouldn't play a role where, you know, I got to dress up as a girl or something like that. So I had one script to answer your question back in the day. They came at me like the godfather. They came at me with a lot of money, an offer I couldn't refuse. But I had to play, you know, a gay guy in the movie. I'm not broke bad gangster, so I couldn't do it.
Starting point is 01:07:46 Damn. I was like, yeah, I'm straight, but those are the roles I wouldn't play. But again, to each their own, no judgment, just want to put that disclaimer there. But yeah, so that's just me. They tried to hit you with some, yeah. And they were coming at me with some bankroll, man, straight up. They were coming at me like, I could have been set for a while, but I just, I couldn't, I can't break the street cred like that.
Starting point is 01:08:09 You still said? Yeah. I was like, nah, I'm cool. Now, you got morals, man, you gotta have some integrity. I didn't need it that bad. Yeah, man. Fuck money. I'm gonna make some money.
Starting point is 01:08:20 It's always cool on that. Yeah. That's commendable, man, dude. Yeah, let me get in here with y'all niggas, man. Hey! That's the honor, Kassi! Hey! Kuhni, hey.
Starting point is 01:08:33 He threw that out there. Oh, God. He threw that out there. See, you got a Spanish one in the house? Come on, man. What up, play? How are you doing, huh? My Spanish name is one.
Starting point is 01:08:46 Man, you just came in like a ninja, homie. Yeah. Oh, shit. That was too close. Come on. That was too close. That's what I just saw. You know, it's funny.
Starting point is 01:08:56 I just saw smoke and you came out through. For real, I can't straight through. That was all some ninja status. Hey, man, can I say you went crazy and all this motherfucking movies? You like the best gangster mess guy I've ever seen in my life. It's just so believable. If there's one thing, yes, we know how to survive. That's what's up, cause we're making that money. If there's one thing, yes, we know life is funny. Yeah, we come in, we don't care if we're sin. We don't care if we're drinking juice and gin.
Starting point is 01:16:06 We just get it in. That's how we do. Because if there's one thing that you want to know, 85 South show is the crew to go. That's what's up. They're always doing a thing, proving they are king. One, not two, and one, two threats.
Starting point is 01:16:23 That's what's up. Now let them tell you the rest. Go on, man. Go on, man. I'm trying to go. Go, the hell, we live it. I ain't even done, man. I try to keep it up.
Starting point is 01:16:40 Now, if there's one thing, let me do another verse. If there's one thing, yes, you notice I didn't curse. Tell you like this, yes, straight out L.A. Tell you one thing, yes, we're having a nice day. That's what's up. The team is corrupt. But we don't care because it's how we erupts. Now I'm done, and it's been a lot of fun.
Starting point is 01:17:02 If there's one thing, we don't even pack a gun. We're making money in different kind of ways. Y'all, now I'm done because we got better days. That's what I'm gonna'all. All day long. You see what happened when you like to catch. I try to keep up, man. I try to keep up, yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:21 Don't put me in the smoke. Don't put me in the smoke. No, you did. Don't put me in the smoke. Hey, boy. That's what's what's up. I got one in with 85 South Shell. That's what's up, man.
Starting point is 01:17:31 Come on. I was like, damn, dad. A lot of people don't wrap. A lot of people don't come up and finish that shit. Oh. And they'd be scared, pome. Yeah? You did that shit, pome.
Starting point is 01:17:41 I just went for it. I just went for it. Keep your life over to God right now. Amen. I just went for it. Amen. Okay, now let's pray. Here.
Starting point is 01:17:49 Now let's pray. Now we must pray. That's what's up, man. It's time. That's the hit, dog. That's the hit. Save it live. Whoa, better, dad, that boy, that's gonna be something like that, that boy.
Starting point is 01:18:07 Oh, man. Well, brother, D.C., it's time for us. No, yeah. He say he wants to pray. Yes, sir, amen. And you know it's time. J.O.N. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:18:19 We got some heat? It's time to pray. Yes, sir. A lot of people today got... It's the black quad now. Okay. I'm trying. You guys got so.
Starting point is 01:18:31 I'm with it. I'm with it. You know, we pray so much, it's like sometimes you ever pray so much you ever feel like God getting tired of it. But it's us again, God. We ain't asking for nothing this time. We just want to say thank you. Yeah. For what you didn't already did. Come on now. And today's message is to thank God for what he already did.
Starting point is 01:19:01 Come on now. Come on now, what he already did. The idea. What's he did on the eye. See, first of all, we got a all dead long. Brother in here that's going to pray how he prayed, because we don't know who we've been praying to.
Starting point is 01:19:24 Let it go. But since everybody is welcome and touch the heart, Everybody gonna be here. That's right. I said since everybody's welcome. Come on now. Everybody going to be here. That's right.
Starting point is 01:19:42 Walk inside. Take a seat. Listen to the rhythm of your beat. See, sometimes God's going to test you. There he is. And you don't even know that you're being tested. You never know where to test my color is coming from. You just don't know.
Starting point is 01:20:00 You just don't know. But your faith got to be stronger in the test. Come on now. Talk to your talk about now. You ain't never been tested. Yeah. That made you not try. Wow.
Starting point is 01:20:13 I said if you've never been tested, wow. That means you're not trying. You ain't trying. Talk to your talk. Come on now. We face obstacles each and every day. We bring it down. We bring it down.
Starting point is 01:20:27 Some people have job obstacles. Come on now. Some people have financial obstacles. That's right. Keep it coming, brother. Yeah. Some people have personal obstacles. That ain't even obstacles.
Starting point is 01:20:43 They just refuse to believe. Keep telling the truth. Piff my heart, brother. That's right. Refuel. Come on now. And that's why I say sometimes you don't have to ask for nothing. Let it out.
Starting point is 01:20:57 But you got to say thank you. Let it go. already did. Don't think of your proud. Sometimes you gotta look up at the Senate and say, God, I appreciate what you already did. What you've already been doing. Not what you're about to do. Not what you're going to do, not what I asked you to do.
Starting point is 01:21:15 No, what you're already. Did. Talk your top. Come on. That's right about what you ain't got. What's coming to tell you. But what's how it's at. But look back and look around what you're standing on.
Starting point is 01:21:29 It's how old man. See, people forget that the day that you're living in, one day you prayed for this day. Come on. And you said you would never act like how you've been acting. Uh-huh, huh. And how you're acting now? And you didn't take advantage of the days you prayed for. Come on.
Starting point is 01:21:47 You were in a position you never thought you would be in. Right, right. And don't even appreciate that. Look at the shit that you walk around your man at. You don't know. Look who you're mad with. Look what you're mad for. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 01:22:04 Who are you man for? You know why they're mad? That's right. Ask the question. Because they don't never look up and say thank you for what you already did. There you come, that's deep. That's deep.
Starting point is 01:22:18 That's deep. Too rare. These are very trying times. Tell them about that. And when I say very trying times, that means everybody is being tried. So whatever you're going through, you're not the only one. Tried.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Because everybody is being tried. Tried. But you know what you should try. And looking up and saying thank you for what you already did. Come on. Come on. Now, have you been tuning in, but it ain't just one.
Starting point is 01:22:55 The offer is still open. They're trying. Because people have been. out here spreading misinformation saying money is the root of all equal and it's a lot of people outside right now with bad money and I've been asking them to send it in because it ain't gonna take me for two weeks to turn that bad money into that good money that's why I want me to say thank you for what you're already We did.
Starting point is 01:23:30 Thank you. 85 South Show. We're out of here. You all right. Wow! Say thank you. Here, pass around the collection, please now. Say thank you.
Starting point is 01:23:43 Don't pass that around. Somebody being rolled up in. Money got weed all in. Let's get the photo. That's funny. I need a blizzy. Oh. Okay.
