Starting point is 00:02:41 Her name is Zhao Ying Summers. She's been on my podcast, show a time or two at least a time um it's very interesting she's a stand-up comedian she was a former winner of whatever the chinese version of miss universe was and uh has an interesting tale to tell. Born at home because of China's one child policy, which for that alone, we should probably have issues with China. It's kind of funny. And I don't think that other people see it with this sort of wonderment that I see it with. But as the masses of new information comes out talking about COVID emanating from a lab in China, it's funny to go back and watch those compilations of all the experts and talking heads on the news, explaining that this is a MAGA talking point and unsubstantiated and spreading false rumors that it's like it's it is weird that
Starting point is 00:03:56 for some reason, the news outlets decided to do the bidding of China in the United States over a prolonged period of time. A nation that has issues and they're well documented. And there are many things that like if you would just say to anybody on the left or any feminists, well, there's a one child policy. Basically, if you have a girl, you got to throw her in a policy. Basically, if you have a girl, you've got to throw her in a dumpster. And if you have a boy, you can keep her. That would be enough for them to label that a bad nation, right? You would think. But those
Starting point is 00:04:33 same people were vigorously defending China in terms of the lab leak, and with the same vigor attacking anybody that even suggested that that's a possibility. It was so weird. I mean, and you go.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Did it come from somewhere? That's what I keep asking myself. Was there somebody that got a hold of someone from the government and they had some reason for doing this? It's just so uncanny. Well, it's uncanny that they had a position on hydroxychloroquine right i mean i i guess i do remember when uh trump at one point was he you actually played this tape for me where they said you know why you keep calling it the chinese virus he says because it
Starting point is 00:05:17 came from china and but that i think that might have been it yeah that might have been enough to say oh no we're in for china now he's out we're in it was all i really think it was all trump derangement syndrome like when you play these when you play when you see these montages that are two and a half years old and it's all these straight-faced news anchors on c, MSNBC, but doctors as well, and immunologists and virologists all explaining with this real stern face and a level of certitude you've never heard before. That was the part.
Starting point is 00:05:59 I mean, there was a decent argument for a wet market source, a zoonotic source. There was evidence there, but that didn't rule out anything else. That was just a possible explanation. And there was this other possible explanation down the street. That one you couldn't even say out loud. Think about that. So bizarre. Without being attacked and deplatformed and called a racist and xenophobic and, you know, a white nationalist.
Starting point is 00:06:35 It's just incredible how they got them to all. But it makes you wonder if somebody was in the bag financially with China right along the way. And then they got to the media or something right you got to follow the money somewhere well yeah I mean you always look no further than the NBA which is god forbid somebody says something negative about China and all of a sudden the voices who are never stop beating the drum for rights and humanity all jump in and defend China. That's pure commerce, obviously, which is sad. And so, you know, all my streaming. But to be fair to them, them beating the drum for Black Lives Matters here in the States is all commerce as well.
Starting point is 00:07:21 They don't they don't really mean either one. We were doing this streaming show, I've mentioned many times, at drdrew.tv, and we've been interviewing people that were silenced. Anybody that was silenced, I kind of went in and talked to them. But a lot of them were people that were in the government around the time that things were sort of breaking out. And there's a direct sort of lineage with, you know, what what was being fed to our public health officials and how hoodwinked they became by it. I mean, the smoking guns are all over the place. Zhao Ying Summers is with us. Tiger Melf is the name of her podcast with Zhao Ying Summers.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Good to see you again, my dear. Nice to see you. Thank you so much for having me. So I was telling the audience a little about your story with the China's one child policy and you being born at home. Let's talk about that. Yeah. What is the official one child policy? Yeah. What is the official one-child policy?
Starting point is 00:08:31 It's that you can only have one child because the population is getting too large. That's the policy. And I don't think ultrasound was available to people because if they knew they were having a baby early on that's not a boy, they would abort the child. So people don't know the baby's gender until the baby is born. And a lot of people would choose to have the baby at home. And when it's a daughter, they wouldn't let people know the knowledge they are having a child. So they can have a second baby that is a boy what and now they're having a population decline now they're shrinking and
Starting point is 00:09:13 they're in a little bit of a panic about that right yes and uh that's the problem also there's a huge gender gap there's way more men women. And they are encouraging people to have more children. Everything is, it's always unintended consequences. That's all I ever say is whatever it is you do, there's going to be something downstream that it's going to affect and just be ready for it. Well, it's going to affect and just be ready for it. Well, it's also it's always when people centralize their decision making and don't allow any
Starting point is 00:09:51 of the natural process of a market or population dynamics, any of that to sort of play out always has to be done from on high. And that's always ends up in bad situations for people. And that's always ends up in bad situations for people. Was the ultrasound the unavailability of the ultrasound? Is that just financial or is that on purpose? I think it's financial for sure. I think for rural areas, there's no way they can afford it but even in bigger bigger cities it's not legal to have people to have access to ultrasound because they know the abortion rate would go up the moment
Starting point is 00:10:31 people find out that they are not having a boy right so they don't want you to know that um but what um what is the policy for abortion in China? It's people are having a lot of abortion. It's like having breakfast. It just left and right. Nobody, nobody talk about it. It just,
Starting point is 00:11:01 I think because China was in such a bad shape after the war, after the war with Japan and also civil war, people were in the 50s, 60s, people were just struggling just to have enough food to eat. So they are in a surviving mode. So having an abortion is just, well, we don't have food. So this baby should die. And now people just, I think the problem is abortion in China is,
Starting point is 00:11:23 the problem is too much. People are just, it's an option because public health education is very limited. People just think, oh, you just, if you don't have safe sex, just have an abortion. And there's the women who didn't understand the harm abortion is going to cause their body. They don't have the ability to have children anymore after 20 abortions. They don't understand why. They're children anymore after 20 abortions you don't understand why they're like oh it's just i took a pill i just had an abortion why can't i have children they don't understand your body you can't have 30 abortions and think you can have a child one day
Starting point is 00:11:55 right and so i have a question so if there's so many more men than women so i mean there's a lot of international sort of dating going on these days. Are men in China able to go to other countries and date, or is there something locked down about the country? I think, yeah, if they have money, they can have all the girls they want. And they can have girls overseas or even have girls in China if they have money. But the problem is the rural areas that the men who are very poor, not educated, they have no access to have enough money to get married. Because to get married in China, especially in the rural area, even in the bigger cities,
Starting point is 00:12:35 the man has to have a house, a car, and even buy a car for the lady's family. And a lot of endowment of, I would say, half a million yuan, which is 50 grand, the money to give to the woman's family. And most men don't have that kind of money, so they end up by themselves. That's why the human trafficking problem in China is very severe, that a lot of girls living in the city, they would get kidnapped and they would be shipped into the mountains
Starting point is 00:13:07 to marry those morons who don't speak, who don't know what to do, who are just like a ghost all day. But then the whole family, the whole village would trap that girl who is a college girl who grew up in the city.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Now she won't escape. The whole village would prevent her from escaping because they are in this victim mentality. They're like, we don't have any money. We have no access. We have no job. And there's way more men than women.
Starting point is 00:13:35 There's no way I'm going to have half a million yuan to give to the woman to get married. My son is going to be single forever. So we are going to go buy, they would have their life savings to pay 20,000 yuan. 20,000 yuan, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:13:52 three grand to buy a girl from a human trafficker. It's so sad because that girl, she's a college educator, speaks English and every time she wants to run away, the whole village would try to stop her. It's like prehistoric man, like, you know, these medieval times, people going to other castles and dragging the women off by their hair to marry them and reproduce with them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:17 Okay, let's dissect this. There is an official marriage policy in China. I mean, you must own a home you must own a car you must be able to provide another car you must be able to provide the equivalent of fifty thousand dollars as a dowry policy the policy is not informed by the government but it is a common sense policy because there are so many more men than women. The women become very picky. Even the ugly bitches, they were like, I have a pussy. Fuck you.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I want two houses for my brothers because they're single. I want five houses for my dumb brothers because he's really stupid. So you want my pussy? You got to buy a house for five of my brothers because they can't get married. So because there's more women, more men than women, so the women are very demanding. They want everything. And I'm like, if you don't have that, you can't get a woman.
Starting point is 00:15:11 Yeah. So it's, you know, sort of supply and demand as well as, you know, we do that. There's a version of that in the United States with certain groups, protected groups, groups where you go, you can never fire me because if you fire me, I'm going to say it's a hate crime. And the behavior changes. I mean, you look at you live in California, think about litigation. You know what I mean? You try to fire an employee. The employee goes and finds some sort of employment fairness attorney, you know, whatever. And at some point they go, give me a hundred grand. This will go away. And you think, what the fuck? I didn't do anything. And everyone will go just paying the hundred grand.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Just this. But they know it. You know what I mean? It's a it's a kind of a system that empowers certain people. Yeah, if you're a woman and there's 10 men for every one of you and someone wants to get married, you may want them to throw in a crock pot and a convertible and a house for your dumb brother. Yeah. I mean, it's the only way it goes. You know what I mean? It's sort of government contractor corruption.
Starting point is 00:16:27 You know, it can it only goes one direction. It sort of has to because we're all humans. Yeah, we're all subject to the same laws and foibles. I'm surprised, given that the pussy is Zhao Ying is saying is so in demand that there's not more of a market force creating a transgender trend in China. Male to female. Interesting. Yeah, that's I think I heard like the in like there's more women in Russia. Actually, a lot of Chinese men from the rural area who doesn't have a chance in China to get a woman, they would go to Russia and they would
Starting point is 00:17:07 work hard and then they bring home Russian wives. There's more women going to have a deficit, too. They've lost so many men. Oh, interesting. Yeah, man, the butterfly effect, as they say. So you're born at home. It strikes me as I recall from our last conversation that you're not a great fan of your mother's. She is just very brutal and she always tell me, you know,
Starting point is 00:17:35 Chinese mom, they always want to compare their child to the cousins to the other kids. You know, why can't you be more like your cousin Lulu? My cousin Lulu, she died at birth. Did you ever see Boy Luck Club? Yes, I love that. I love
Starting point is 00:17:53 Janet Leigh Young. It's such a great portray of Asian moms. I wouldn't say great, but maybe accurate? Very accurate. Can I say this without mentioning know, without mentioning names? Many of the women I know, including family members, have great disdain for their mother. And I don't know evolution from an evolutionary standpoint.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Why does that make sense on on any level? Do you know what I mean? For the women to just really hate their mom. My mom hated her mom. Her mom hated her mom. There's just a lot of it. Whenever you talk to an adult woman, you start scratching a little away. What about your mom?
Starting point is 00:18:40 Many of them just say, I hate my mom. Genetic diversity. It drives them out of that family and into the arms of distant family is that what it is maybe it's got to be something because it's kind of uncanny do you know what i'm saying like why would and your mom i disagree being i disagree with my my point i just, because those women that hate their mothers tend to stay around their mothers like your mom. It's true. But I just mean just the notion of when a mother you think about a mother, you know, and you think about all the promises made, you know, when that mother is holding the young infant and the young girl and showering her with love and affection and having that feeling that she has to her. Like, you never stop being a mother.
Starting point is 00:19:30 How does it get to the point where your daughter turns 37 and hates your guts? And you, by the way, hate her guts too. Like, it's a two-way street. In my family, they never were interested in even repairing it. It was just like, we'll just hate each other forever like I had a a bad run with my daughter from about 13 to about 15 it was really hard I wanted to repair it so badly because I didn't want this person going off to college hating her dad and I didn't want to be going off to college, hating her dad. And I didn't even want to be around this person.
Starting point is 00:20:07 It was uncomfortable. So like I worked really hard to repair it. And now we get along beautifully, but what is this? Sorry, go ahead. I feel like marriage is so hard. And,
Starting point is 00:20:23 um, like, uh, the, especially the mom, if they have an unhappy marriage, they always blame the daughter, you know? They just, I don't want you to grow up in a broken home and suck any dick you see. I want you to just like have a father around,
Starting point is 00:20:38 a home that's together. I'm doing everything for you. And then it doesn't matter what you do because women are so romantic. They have this goal of having this life, having this man, and having a perfectly loved
Starting point is 00:20:52 lovely man, a good family. And whatever you do as a daughter is the mother's projection of her second chance. Like, I, this life, I'll become a doctor. And I can fuck the man. They're going to listen to me. And then you want to be a comedian. She's like, did I just wreck my pussy
Starting point is 00:21:10 for a comedian? Fuck off, you dumb hoe. It doesn't matter what you do. She sees the daughter as an extension of her not making the same mistakes and living the best life. And if you don't, it's like a narcissist to see you as an extension of themselves. And they're just like, why are you being fed? I got fed because life and if you don't it's like a narcissist to see you as extension of themselves and they just
Starting point is 00:21:25 like why why are you being fed like i got fed because now you are like a part of me you have to like look perfect you can't be fat why you marry this guy who's broke well marry this rich guy who's an asshole it doesn't matter what you do it's just she can't have what she has and you are the last chance she got to get what she wants, and she's unhappy about that. But to your point, you are describing narcissistic mothering, to your point. Alright, we need to take a quick break. Drew, I want to know your mom's
Starting point is 00:21:53 relationship with her mom, which I've never asked about, and we'll do that right after this. Someone made too much pleasure to learn a new language. Yes, indeed. Thanks to Babbel. I know what that means. Do you? And my
Starting point is 00:22:10 wife knows what it means, more importantly, because she, I've referred her to Babbel regularly to keep her going with her French. And you can learn French there, too, as well as she. This summer, I started speaking a new language with Babbel in just three weeks.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Why pay hundreds of dollars for a private tutor or fool yourself with language apps that are just games? Babbel's quick 10-minute lessons are designed by over 150 language experts. That's right. We've been using Babbel. As I said, my wife had no understanding and sort of a laughable kind of accent. But they have a thing that adjusts your accent, and she actually sounds pretty good these days. Studies from Yale, Michigan State, others prove Babbel is better.
Starting point is 00:22:51 One study found using Babbel for 15 hours is equivalent to a full semester at college. Imagine that. It is Babbel, right, Emmy? That's right. Here's a special limited-time deal for our listeners to get you started right now. Get 55% off your Babbel subscription, but only for our listeners at Babbel.com. Get up to 55% off at Babbel.com. That's B-A-B-B-E-L.com.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Rules and restrictions may apply. All right. Back with Yao Ying. Very funny stand-up comedian. Summers, the last name. Tiger Milf with Yao Ying. Summers is the name of the podcast. And it's wherever you find her podcast. Also, you can find her on TikTok as well. I want to spell her name just in case you're looking for her.
Starting point is 00:23:41 It's J-I-A-O-Y-i-n-g summers um drew yeah your mom i i'm walking around vexed at why almost every adult woman i know hates her mom or i shouldn't say almost every but i'm saying an alarmingly high rate yeah so. So my mom with her mom, I would describe it as void, like empty set. And I think her mom developed dementia early. That was my sense of things. But that is consistent with her entire relationship with her family. I mean, she left at 18. I don't really know how many brothers and sisters she had just empty, but I do have a clearer vision of the dad who was a scoundrel
Starting point is 00:24:33 and a horrible person. I got that. Uh, but the rest of them just like, like a cloud, like nothing there. Very weird. And your sister's relationship with your mom is actually pretty good. Sort of. My sister idealizes her and she could never understand why I had any issues with her in spite of being abused for many years as a young child. Wow, that's interesting. Yeah. And I would say, I would say, don't you remember the screaming and yelling show? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Yeah. I remember the yelling. Anyway, I was like, I like a like a mad woman. Like she'd yell like a mad woman, mostly at me. And that didn't didn't raise the hairs in the back of your neck or anything. No, not really. Hmm. I wonder what would you guys maybe just maybe it's an L.A. thing, but maybe it's not a Midwest thing.
Starting point is 00:25:19 But it feels like fully 50% of women hate their moms. And by the way, vice versa. Their moms are no fans of the daughter either, which just seems incredibly high. It's like alarmingly high. But I don't know. Where would you guys put it? All road lead to narcissism. I guess so.
Starting point is 00:25:42 So back to the one child policy. I guess so. So back to the one child policy. I know here that you were banned from TikTok for three months after you put out a video criticizing the one child policy. Yeah, it was very scary because they won't tell you what they did wrong. But they also made sure you know what you did wrong, which is really scary. It's like my mom, you know, she's like, look at me, be like, yeah, because I didn't have a penis.
Starting point is 00:26:13 It's scary. And I want to talk about it because it's a reality. I'm not even trying to attack the government. It's just the reality. A lot of people suffer that. A lot of women suffer that. And women are paying for the price. Our men are paying for the reality. A lot of people suffer that. A lot of women suffer that. And women are paying for the price. Our men are paying for the price.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Women, yeah, they, you know, on one hand, they are very demanding. They can demand material things from men and threaten the men to leave them if they don't get what they want. And the men just stay because they don't have the money to get another woman. But at the same time, women are targets for the human trafficking people, for the rural areas men to buy the women. So you can be in a big city, you just get bagged. They just take you, you know.
Starting point is 00:26:54 And next thing you know, you live in a mountain feeding pigs, and the people just they also broke their legs so they can't run. Literally, they have their legs broken so they can later on have babies. One woman, she was chained in a pig house, locked. Her son was bringing food to her room. It was caught on a TikTok video in China.
Starting point is 00:27:14 And a person is basically giving food to the poor household. And in the background, this little boy said, I'll bring the food to my mom. They said, let me follow you to see where your mom is. Go to a little dog house. And then the mom was chained, literally, on her neck with no teeth.
Starting point is 00:27:33 She's 35, has no teeth. And just like a dog eating the food. Hi, mom. And then that's it. The kid left. They were like, what the? They just post that video. But if you were like, what the fuck is this?
Starting point is 00:27:44 Then they realize that. I have kind of a global question. And maybe it's a little bit that video, but if you were like, what the fuck is this? Then they realized that. I have kind of a global question, and maybe it's a little bit too broad, but I'm going to try it. So I'm currently in TikTok jail also because we posted an interview I did with Li-Ming Yan, who is a physician, virologist. You seem to know her. And she is a brilliant woman, and she was doing research on coronaviruses at the leading lab in the world, other than the Virology Institute in Wuhan. And they were just one of the leading groups in the world. And she discovered that she was taking directions from the People's Liberation Army, and that this was part of a big bioweapon sort of program that she was participating in unwittingly. And the part I want to, that is just factually the case. That's not the part that was controversial.
Starting point is 00:28:35 The controversial part is she talked about it and went to her superiors, and they told her she would be, quote, she kept kept asking questions yeah so and then she ran and she's still in hiding to this day and so my question is is anybody in china concerned about their government is everybody just accepting of the way things are and if you are not you just have to leave is that is that how it works? People don't talk about it, but deep down they are very, very feared about it. Well, Jack Ma, we don't know where he is.
Starting point is 00:29:12 I think he's in Japan because Alibaba became so big. Alibaba. Alibaba becomes so big. He's like the people's god. He's an ugly dude, but he's so charming. He loves the people. He's just like a big movie with Jackie Chan. He just thinks he's so important.
Starting point is 00:29:29 But in China, you cannot be charming or important. There's no room for that. You know, there's only one person. He's the person everybody should worship. Whenever you get the popularity that's so big, you are going to be in trouble. And another thing is that there's TikTok. I mean, stand-up comedy got popular in China six years ago, the form of stand-up comedy.
Starting point is 00:29:51 But it's not an art form in a country that you can't say shit. So there's this kid, her name is Li Dan, whatever his name. He become a big star, making millions, millions per show. It was crazy because in China china if you become a star the money is like all the all over the place and he said something he just said something about the people's uh liberation army he said that uh they are hungry like a like a hyena something like that and i remember this story and he is in jail and the stand-up comedy is canceled. You can't do stand-up anymore, basically.
Starting point is 00:30:28 The biggest company, Xiao Guo Wen Hua, which is like the big company produced stand-up comedy and live shows, is canceled. The whole company is vanished in a matter of one hour. This is the stuff. So, you know, I've been doing these interviews and Susan, my wife, produces these shows. She's been listening to these interviews and is getting completely freaked out about China. I mean, she can't stop thinking about it. And the fact that when weird things happen here, like Adam, I think you and I were talking about maybe last show or something, a couple of shows ago. You start wondering if somebody is in the bag because China has a lot of influence and money.
Starting point is 00:31:07 I mean, if you were, let's put it this way. If China were trying to engage in an influence campaign, this is what it would look like. This is exactly what it would look like. So it's weird that no one's sort of bringing that up, or at least not many people are. I'm dying. I literally, when I watched the TikTok tiktok ceo the chinese man getting grilled at uh the hearing uh at the court i'm just like why tiktok can't pay me the money so i can be the white glove to grab all the u.s government i can grab everybody like i can do the
Starting point is 00:31:37 job give me a hundred million dollars you know just you don't have to go to court they don't know how to play that game it's's so much money. It's crazy. And I'm very scared because I'm not... I just think on TikTok in America, it's very, very controlled. They tell you what they want to hear. Like Dr. Zhu, your interview, that's very, very impactful,
Starting point is 00:32:01 very important thing to know. But they don't tell you it's because why it's censored but you know why and also they don't they are showing showing all the stupid stuff but in chinese tiktok it's genius kids doing calculus class like doing algebra playing chase doing kung fu and in america like i wanted to be a trans lady like the guy is two years old i'm like what the fuck it just it's not bad but it's like it's it's three years old it's a it's a child you won't be trans you know what's you think it's transformers you don't even know what it is it's it's just gone too far and i feel
Starting point is 00:32:35 like tiktok is controlling how people think what goes viral it's not that they are they're monitoring our information they're feeding us they They're waiting us with material that is on TikTok. pre-COVID. Because when I now sit back and look at all the crazy lying that just took place, and by the way, it wasn't chaotic lying. It was very regimented, controlled, everyone was on the same page, lying.
Starting point is 00:33:18 And going after any old... This was the part that really caught everyone's attention. Going after people who expressed something different. In our lifetime, has that ever happened? No. And so it was all very uniform, and it was very regimented, and it was very well rehearsed almost, lying. Executed. Executed lying that was going on on behalf of China and all things, all things COVID. And so if you would have said to me pre-COVID,
Starting point is 00:33:47 well, maybe China's got the goods on Hunter Biden because he got so much money from China. And maybe there's stuff they know about the president of the United States. And maybe that's informing some of the policies he's making, suggesting, you know, not shooting down a spy balloon for a week and things of that nature. If you would have told me that pre-COVID, I'd be like, get the
Starting point is 00:34:10 fuck out of here. You know, yes, that's right. There were no Jews in the building on 9-11 and the feds wired the buildings to implode. Thank you, Ed Asner. Right. You tell me that shit now. And I'm sort of like, well, I don't have a lot of good reasons why we acted like the way we've acted over the last several years vis-a-vis China without something that would that would stray into a conspiracy theory yeah other than that i don't know why everyone's going to bat for china here when they're clearly a rogue nation uh jiao ying thank you i appreciate you uh coming in i will tell uh the podcast tiger milf with jiao ying summers is where you go to find out.
