Starting point is 00:01:17 Captain Lee. Listen to my new podcast salty with captain Lee. Um, don't you mean our podcast? Uh, yeah, I guess I do. Anyhow, listen to Salty with Captain Lee, co-hosted by my assistant, Sam. And we will be talking about the latest pop culture news and all the gossip every week. So does this mean we have to talk by ourselves, about ourselves, or can at least have some guests on?
Starting point is 00:01:49 I don't know. I find myself pretty interesting, but yeah, we can have some guests on, some of our reality TV friends, and some stars. Works for me. Listen to Salty now on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts. recorded live at corolla one studios with adam corolla and board certified physician and addiction medicine specialist dr drew pinsky you're listening to the adam and dr drew show yeah get it on got the you know get on dr's board certified physician. Dex medicine specialist. Yeah, man. Yeah, man. What's going on?
Starting point is 00:02:29 I'm starting to get worried about myself because I'm still obsessing about how our press cannot even report the weather. I literally was yelling at one of my sons this morning, like, what's it going to take for you? When do you stop listening to these people? Just stop listening. He was all upset that he'd fallen for it and i've had my first conversation with him about it and i'm like why why that's your fault you listen to these people i fell for it too and you did but you checked you called me and you went what's really going on there you knew enough to be skeptical
Starting point is 00:03:00 yeah i also was with a guy who lives in the Glendale area and has like the ring doorbell camera or whatever. And he's able to pot it up on his phone and just say, well, it looks like it's raining, but that's about it. Yeah. You can see the trees aren't being blown over. Right. So, yeah. And so everything's a grain of salt with the press, but like we'd spoken about in the past you know i had in the past carved out for weather um carve out now it's nothing it's you can't carve anything out no i i know and it's also a thing too where and this is kind of where we're at you know so a few weeks back they had the the fires and maui and you know everyone who so basically what you do is you run a city in a state poorly and then a catastrophe happens and then you blame climate change which is sort of out of your hands right and then you step back
Starting point is 00:04:01 and and people go well it's not his fault. It was about climate change. And my feeling is this. That kind of makes it more your fault. Yes. Because this thing is happening. Yes. Meaning, you know, New Orleans is below sea level. So they need sea walls. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:21 And there could be surges. Yeah. And so you need the Army Corps of Engineers to rebuild that wall. Yeah. So that's kind of on you. You know what I mean? It's like living in a house where it's 95 degrees inside and it's 110 outside and everyone's walking around going, well, don't look at me. And it's like, no, I am looking at you.
Starting point is 00:04:42 You need to buy an air conditioner. Listen, man. You need to do preventative things you're telling me there's an issue so if there's an issue then why aren't you addressing the issue right so stupid or liar okay we have a problem all right climate change in los angeles okay why why is the freeway flooding? Why is there not proper drainage? Why are we not collecting the water and keeping the water and reconditioning the water? They go, okay, yes, we have a problem.
Starting point is 00:05:13 What is government for, is my question. What the fuck is it for? I've said for the last two years, it has stopped functioning. Government doesn't function as a government. No power, no trash, no safety, no roads, no transportation. I mean, just think of the basic.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Just go down the list in Los Angeles of things you don't have going on. Yeah. And there it is. No, it's back to homeless. It's always like, well, we have a huge homeless population. Yeah, we do. Fix it. So you're in charge.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Yeah. So what's the plan? By the way, I know how to fix it. Yes. Come to people like me. We know how to do it. It's no problem.. So what's the plan? By the way, I know how to fix it. Yes. Come to people like me. We know how to do it. It's no problem. Well, that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:05:51 Especially with the money they're spending sustaining it the way it is. It's just ridiculous. You're the governor of Hawaii, and you're the mayor of Maui, and you're blaming climate. But, okay. You know what they should do? Is climate change a fast-moving phenomenon, or does it just take place over decades and decades? If you have time, it moves slowly. Do something. If in fact – well, I don't – there's two things.
Starting point is 00:06:14 I don't think they believe it and or care. Well, both, right? If they cared and believed that they, A, would be interested in carbon capture, B, forestry management, and C, dealing with whatever comes with it. I mean, just deal with it. Listen, what was government – why do we have that river basin? Because in the 20s and 30s, we got floods here. But that was just climate. Not climate change.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Climate. And you dealt with it. You put this stupid cement thing in there that works it works like crazy and you decided to send all the water out to the sea well okay good you did it now maybe you got to reconsider that and do something where you capture the water and then do something where you deal with the flooding that's likely to occur with climate change oh no we're just gonna sit and wring our hands and listen to Greta Thunberg. That's more fun. That's more fun.
Starting point is 00:07:06 It's more satisfying. I would be. Well, also, all right, do the math on disasters for a second. All right. You go, look, the reason this place is on fire and this place flooded is because of climate change. Okay. this place is on fire and this place flooded is because of climate change. Okay. And then you say we need to lower our carbon footprint or start recycling more, get these diesel trucks off the road or whatever it is. Okay. Let's say that. First off, how big is your portion of the earth
Starting point is 00:07:40 that you could really control this from the Santa Monica, West LA sort of region, you know what I mean? Or even all of California. What is it? 0.1. What shall be your impact on this? Maybe a zero. 0.1 to zero.
Starting point is 00:07:56 But let's use your logic. Yeah. This is climate change and we need to do something about it. Yeah. Well, I would say the do something part would be flood control and seawalls and forest management. That's what you can do right now. The other things you're talking about is over decades. But you know what's interesting? I've never had this thought before, but it's very interesting,
Starting point is 00:08:19 is that leaving it be and allowing for these catastrophes to develop amplifies their sort of feelings about climate change, and it serves the same function, watch this, as homelessness in terms of insisting that homelessness is due to income inequality. Right. They use it. They use it for something that has not nothing to do with it but is anathema to solving the problem right it's so fucked up that is so fucked up come on yeah so so homelessness
Starting point is 00:08:54 is they leave it there so it will remind everybody of income inequality forestry management they let it burn so it reminds you of you need to do something about climate. That is sick stuff when you think about it. We live in an earthquake country, as they say. And during the 72 earthquake, I think it was 72. The, what was it, Silmarquake. Silmarquake, 1972. They noticed that, and maybe even in 94 as well, they noticed that some of the concrete posts that were holding up the freeway, overpasses and double, triple-decker parking structures
Starting point is 00:09:39 and stuff crushed down, you know, and there's some damage and people got hurt. So they started wrapping them. They would clad them in steel because you have to picture. Like rebar? No. Steel, actual steel. Wow. Listen to me.
Starting point is 00:09:56 I'm listening. I don't know. Listen to me. I know I want to clarify in my own mind what you're saying. All right. Go ahead. There's tons and tons of rebar inside of the giant concrete column that's coming up 60 feet and holding the freeway up. Yeah. But you can still compact it because the column is concrete and it can compact.
Starting point is 00:10:20 But if you wrapped it, and I think they even wrapped it with like kevlar and stuff if you put a jacket on it then it can't compact it can't push out i see yes yes and so all right uh earthquakes natural it's a natural as much of a natural disaster as there is and then you did something yeah you retrofitted things that that used to be my job was retrofitting places for earthquake. When a 5.0 hits in Guatemala, it devastates the town. When a 5.0 hits in California, it does almost no damage. Because you guys. Some wine bottles fall down.
Starting point is 00:10:57 Yeah. You guys have some codes and you did some retrofitting and you sheer walled and everything else. And now it's no problem. Yeah. fitting and you shear walled and everything else and now there's it's no problem so just take that same model and just apply it to to climb what's so weird they have no trouble taking that model and applying it to oak trees and your backyard and to your kitchen over your garage but towards big issues that again don't support their narratives. Right. No interest. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:26 That take the narratives off the public consciousness. That's so sick when you think about it. Earthquake was 71. I was going to say I thought it was 71. You're right. I was in seventh grade. I would accept a speech where some mayor of some place that burnt to the ground said climate change, but that's going to take a long time to reverse, and we don't have a long time. So what we need to do is start managing right now.
Starting point is 00:11:56 And here's what I'm going to suggest, not just look around and go climate change. That's literally the earth just having dominion over you. You're just looking around. It's like you standing outside when it's raining. And it's just going, it's raining. I'm getting wet. You only have to build a roof. So I lived on sediment during that 71 quake.
Starting point is 00:12:15 And I think I remember the date. Was it February 9th? I don't know what sediment is. I'm not on granite now. We barely feel earthquakes. I was on a sediment basin around the Arroyo and our house
Starting point is 00:12:29 nearly came apart. And is that, is it February 9th? February 9th. How crazy is that? Wow, that's a good poll. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Yeah. Because it was, it was traumatizing. It was the first big quake. You know, it sounded like a train going under our house. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:43 And because we lived on sediment, it just, it's craziness. And, you. And because we lived on sediment, it's just craziness. And I've lived on granite most of the time since. I've been through all the other ones, 92 and everything. You're like, yeah, no big deal. It's interesting how differently the energy goes through the rock and stuff. And you can be in one place and just get destroyed and be in the other.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Like, yeah, it's kind of rocky. I was sleeping on the porch. I was on the porch. Of course. My mom's old woodhouse. There was nothing there to fall in. Woodhouse. Literally, here's a bad sign.
Starting point is 00:13:14 When you're sealing joists, there's two bad signs. When you're sealing joists are also your roof joists. That's a bad sign. That's a bad sign. And when you can see them, because there is no ceiling. Of course. Why would you put a ceiling back there? When those joists are 2x4s, you'll never see a ceiling joist that's a 2x4,
Starting point is 00:13:37 because any time you span more than four feet, you've got to get a 2x6 up there. We didn't have so much span back there. I would just lay in my bed and stare up at those two by four. And as you've taught me, two by six is now one and seven eighths by five and three quarters. What are they now? Two by six is inch and a half. Wow. By probably five and a half.
Starting point is 00:14:03 So they've shrunken even since last time we've spoken about it. No, they've been all two by's inch and a half. So they've shrunken even since last time we've spoken about it. No, they've been all two-bys inch and a half. But interestingly enough, a two-by-four is three and a half, two-by-six is five and a half. But as they get up into like two-by-twelves, they start shrinking down a little more they're always trying to skim just a little bit is there more there are there market forces that would send it in the other direction now if you're going to buy in it says hey we have a quality house here
Starting point is 00:14:36 we built with two by you know two by sixes well what you would do, well, you couldn't find one. You'd have to mill them yourself. This house had old school redwood two by fours. That's what made me think about that. You know, 1879 or something. So it was actual two by four. Yeah. But it didn't, there was nothing, there was no earthquake prep in the house, but there's also nothing to fall off. Right. I'm sure the porch anyway. There was no earthquake prep in the house, but there's also nothing to fall off.
Starting point is 00:15:05 Right. I'm sure in the porch anyway. Yeah. Above me was a two by four. Did you have plaster inside or was it plaster? Oh, yeah. So that's interesting, right? Did some of that come in? We've had it fall off in the past, but it's mainly just because after a hundred years
Starting point is 00:15:25 it was like buckling. It just fell off. It just fell off and they'd like take a shopping bag and tape it over. Well, are there people that could fix that? You have to call them in from Wisconsin or something? Uh, there are guys who can do plaster. There's guys who can mud up some plaster. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:43 The drywall guys can kind of do it. I mean, they're not like the experts, like the old days. They can do up some plaster. Yeah, the drywall guys can kind of do it. I mean, they're not like the experts like the old days. They can do it. Yeah, it was all lath and plaster. And there was no plywood. Lath is the wood. Slats. Slats.
Starting point is 00:15:56 Yeah, the slats are like furry. Furry, like quarter inch by like inch and a quarter or something. They leave like a half inch space. Why would they leave that space? I'm sorry. I'm going to ask a lot like a half inch space why would they leave that space i'm sorry i'm gonna ask a lot of weird questions but why would they leave that space they would leave that space so that when you're spreading the plaster onto the laugh laugh some of it would push through that hole and then when it pushed through that hole or the crack yeah that space yeah it would sort of droop down yeah and then when it
Starting point is 00:16:27 dried it act as an anchor to keep it on to the to the lath interesting right yeah because we just take a hook almost if you just made it smooth yeah and you just put the lath you put the plaster on there it might tend to want to fall off slide Or slide down to you, right? Yeah. But, yeah, you need some gription there. Interesting. So that's that. And then, again, that gave way to button board. And then at some point they said, let's just do drywall.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Well, back to the governing. I keep, and I've said it a zillion times, and I keep pointing at the San Gabriel Mountains. Look up there. Tell me if you see any fire breaks. They used to be crisscrossed with fire breaks. Our entire youth, you'd look up there, look like a tic-tac-toe board all the time. And they stopped that in like the 80s and 90s because some mouse migration was interrupted. I'm sure those mice love the fires too that fucking destroy them.
Starting point is 00:17:23 But it's like we can't get out of our own way. Yeah. All right. We'll take a quick break. Back with more complaints right after this. This podcast is sponsored by BetterHelp. Perhaps you're having racing thoughts in bed either before you go to sleep or maybe waking up in the middle of the night. Well, look look you and i are the same way um you and i and i i wish more people were wired this way when i hear about you know the impoverished village in haiti where they don't have you know wells and there's no money and there's whatever i just kind of go man that sucks but what are you going to do and and but when i see that we live in a
Starting point is 00:19:50 place that has tons of resources and tons of money and tons of people and tons of programs and we still live like idiots that's the part yes that bothers me i don't. We don't have to do this. No, we don't have to do it. And by the way, we didn't for a long time. Right. That's the part. That's the part that gets me. I was telling Drew off the air. But now I'm going to task Emmy with this.
Starting point is 00:20:20 And then there's also a phenomenon. I also got vaccinated with a couple of different vaccinations yesterday drew you get shingles get your shingrix and uh pneumonia no i got shingles and tetanus oh yeah yeah and it was good yeah um although shingrix made me sick man both times i got sick but it's fine yeah i gotta say the to say, the doctor didn't say anything, but he said, your arm's going to be sore. Oh, no, no. More than that. More than that.
Starting point is 00:20:49 I said, no, it's not. He said, yeah, I think it's going to be sore. And I just said, no, it's not going to be a thing. It's not going to be a thing with me. And my arm is not sore. But I did wake up this morning, and I felt out of sorts. Like a little bit wobbly. It can get a little headachy and wobbly, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:08 It can get worse over the next 24 hours by day two. I'm just saying. For me, day two was – I did it on a weekend because I react to everything. Yes, yes. You don't – No, all I did is I got up – Yes, yes, pussy, yes. No, all I did is I got up. Yes, yes, pussy, yes.
Starting point is 00:21:24 I got up this morning and I felt like I drank too much and didn't get a full night's sleep. Yeah. And I just had a little bit of cobweb and I was a little bit wobbly. Yeah. And like sort of, you know, that move where you walk to the wrong side of the bed to get something and then go, oh. And then you turn around and go, like, just a little cobwebby, a little whatever. There's another one you need, too, which is the two more pneumonia vaccines you need. You need the polyvalent vaccine and you need the Prevnar also.
Starting point is 00:21:59 All right. Some version of those combinations. But something I was talking to Drew about off the air was um forest lawn drive which is i always bring it up it's really the it's really the what do we call it the bellwether or something it's sort of a model for what's going on yeah yes and in my book i'm pretty sure in 50 years we'll all be chicks it's in there somewhere i was drilling down on on forest lawn drive and using it as an example now when was that what's going wrong written when did you write that now about eight years ago no i wrote in 50 years we'll all be chicks in like 08 09 09
Starting point is 00:22:39 probably so 14 years ago okay yeah i mean you have have to ask Lynch because I have no mind for that kind of stuff. Yeah. But, you know, base. Well, we can find out when it came out. And if you find out when it was released. 12. I don't think it was out. That's what I'm showing the book you're looking at.
Starting point is 00:22:59 The cover. Yeah. You're holding the wrong book. Is it possible? Was everything reminds me of something now anyway uh if you find out when it came out that was an interesting little study right there they they're not they're listening and they aim to please just you do mention it and everything reminds me of something yeah i think oh i do remember i do mention it all right well we can
Starting point is 00:23:20 so let's go back and look at it yeah but it's probably better to find it so that's interesting there's a little little human study there their brain went i think i heard this more recently and they looked where they thought they heard it rather than going to 50 years will be chicks which is fine that's how our brains work uh was totally fine. Yeah. Except for the people who tripled down ago. You said, which I get a lot, and I'm like, nope, that's not what I said. But they're sure of it, which is interesting. It is interesting. By the way, cognitive dissonance is alive and well right now. Oh, yes. Oh, wee.
Starting point is 00:24:01 It's all over the place. It is on with that stuff right now. The masking, remasking shit. It's all over the place. It is on with that stuff right now. The masking, remasking shit. It's all on. Maybe we'll talk about that next show. But I think the whole idea of bringing masks back is an expression of cognitive dissonance. Oh, yeah. Oh, schools are going to require masks and vaccines.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Because you have to double down. You've decided this is a thing, and you've got to go with it, man. Yeah. Oh, boy. As a citizen, you have a responsibility not to do that it is your responsibility now i don't know how you get an airplane if tsa decides to do it it's harder but you just here's what you do you do what i did all through make it terrible make it miserable what i said to my son if if a teacher during the course of a school day does not ask you to pull your mask up at
Starting point is 00:24:45 least six times, I will consider you a failure. And I mean it. Like, just, I mean, between me and Mike August, all they did was yell at us to pull our mask up. That's all they did was tell us to do it. The entire COVID, every
Starting point is 00:25:02 flight, and I flew a lot, that's all we got is yell that I mean I would have people in in my life say please don't do it please you're gonna get thrown off this flight you know and then I would always when I exited the plane take it off and and as we were like as they were standing by the door you know have a nice day thank you for flying have a nice day but I always just walk by with the mask dangling from one ear and I'd always just look at them and turn it. Now you can say, well, they're just doing their job.
Starting point is 00:25:33 Yeah, that's true. But the reality is, is their job is to kind of inform you. I had flight attendants that kind of under their breath went, whatever you want to do. That's what I'm saying. I've had the Florida-based flight group, not the Seattle-based flight group. When you've got the Florida-based flight group, they kind of go, take it off or not. I'm going to put it on or not. And then they'd leave you alone for the whole flight. So that's what I'm saying. I'm not saying their job isn't to tell you to pull it up. Once they do it,
Starting point is 00:26:04 then they're done with their job. And reminding ourselves that as soon as you say take it off when you eat, the entirety of the mask is completely taken out. That's masking up in between bites. Oh, that's even worse. I know. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:26:22 So anyway. So Forrest Lawn. Forrest Lawn. I know. All right. All right. So anyway. So Forest Lawn.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Forest Lawn. So I was going to do Orny Adams' podcast the other week, and that's just sort of the way Waze took me, you know, down Forest Lawn. It's not every day that I drive down Forest Lawn, but once every two and a half months I'm going somewhere on the west side or something. There's some change on Forest La forest lawn drive haven't they well one side is more illegal flower merchants than you've ever seen before which is with all the garbage and stuff that goes along with it right and i don't even understand how they can compete with each other there's so many some up front must just run out of flowers or something i i don't know it's like there's so many now up front must just run out of flowers or something i i don't know it's like there's so many now i always look at it and try to figure out like how would i game plan for this it's a kind of a like it's the super bowl you won the coin toss do you want to receive the
Starting point is 00:27:16 ball yeah maybe you want to kick off and do they fight amongst themselves i've never seen it i don't either they're the people that are congregated right on the freeway off-ramp. Yes. Which is a logical place to hang out. And that's their turf. You know, it's interesting. They don't come to the overpass or to that first corner before the overpass. They stay on the Forest Lawn side of the overpass.
Starting point is 00:27:41 So the cops enforce that? They're on the opposite side of the street yeah for salon because that's the way traffic's going yeah um and then they go all the way down just to in front of forest lawn mortuary yes mile down yeah uh there's now 25 sort of you know enclaves of flower salesmen. And I always pointed that out. And I pointed out the cop on the other side who was writing the speeding tickets and blah, blah, blah. But as soon as you clear the flowers, it is now a wagon train of RVs just piled up on both sides.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Now, hold on. I don't want you all to think about RVs like you would see in an RV park at a national park or something. These things, the sidings are falling off, the wheels are flat, they have plastic over the top. Well, and there's like lawn furniture out on the sidewalk and a barbecue. And now a lot of people say, oh, those are rented out. Yep. People own them, cartels or whoever. Gangs. Gangs own them, and it's just strewn all the way out. By the way, in terms of that real estate, that's basically Toluca Lake.
Starting point is 00:28:57 Yeah. You want to go three-quarters of a mile as the crow flies, you'll get to Denzel Washington's $13 million house in Toluca Lake. You just have to cross the street. Quickly, yeah. Yeah, you'll get to Denzel Washington's $13 million house in Toluca Lake. You just have to cross the street. Quickly, yeah. Yeah, you would walk there. There's that golf club right there, too, just on the other side. Yes.
Starting point is 00:29:12 Or whatever it is, tennis, I don't know what the hell it is. It's a golf club. Golf club. And by the way, I suspect, though this has not been confirmed, they're not just getting the RV, they're getting their drug supplied there, too. Right? Wouldn't that make sense? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Because same gang, same thing. So on this one stretch of highway, which is – Well, highway. Yeah, I guess it's highway. It's kind of highway that is sort of nestled in between the Hollywood Hills and the studios. Warner Brothers is there. It's a of nestled in between the Hollywood Hills and the studios. Warner Brothers is there. It's a huge studio. And then Toluca Lake.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Again, Toluca Lake is some of the most expensive real estate in Los Angeles. It's kind of Malibu, Beverly Hills, Toluca Lake. You have dozens. I mean, I was trying to count them. But I couldn't. Were they on both sides? Yeah. I couldn't count.
Starting point is 00:30:09 I couldn't get that high. Well, I mean, I was going. You're going too fast. It's not because I can't count, but I was going 45 miles an hour. And I was like, oh, da, da, da, da, da, da, da. There's 18 on each side. Oh, easy. Just long, just spread out.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Yeah. And you have people living there. Yeah. And by the way, it goes all the way to the employee lot. You notice that? And so the employees at Warner Brothers have to all manage that every morning and evening, which is interesting. When I was complaining about it 14, 15 years ago in my book, the RVs weren't there. I was explaining that this street is gone rogue.
Starting point is 00:30:46 It's lawless and it's indicative of where we're heading and it's an eerie harbinger. Yeah. You can't do this. It's just a, what should we call it, a bellwether. Just exactly what's going on in the city is being played out right there on that street in real time. Right. And it's visible. All the lessons you'd need to know about how horribly Los Angeles is run,
Starting point is 00:31:09 you could find on Forest Lawn. Do you know there's one thing on Forest Lawn? I thought this before when I drove down there. There's one thing about it that is not representative of the rest of the city. The road is good. That road is actually decent. Not great. Some parts of it.
Starting point is 00:31:24 It's not great great but compared to when you go into los angeles it's very good compared to much of los angeles i don't know if we can find let's see what year was in 50 years we'll all be chicks what does that book say 2010 2010 like you said yeah all right so it's been been 14 years. So that's the good news. The bad news is I confirmed to Chris, and he says that that's never been put in the book. Oh, do I keep doing that? He just checked his conversation with Lynch. Ben did find it in Everything Reminds Me of Something.
Starting point is 00:31:56 You mentioned it really briefly. Oh, I've been locked off into that memory the whole time. You and I haven't talked about it that long. Yes's for sure i always assumed i put it in the book and maybe it got cut or something and i and i could probably and i remember kind of being not quite getting what you were talking about at first and then it was like oh jesus that hollywood florist down around the corner there with the literally brick and mortar store has advertising, business, everything, employees, and these guys got none of that. How do they stay in business? I will tell you this.
Starting point is 00:32:38 Here's how the city of Los Angeles runs. They will go into the Toluca Lake Florist and a city inspector will go in there and make sure the grab bar and the handicapped toilet stall is the proper height. But if you want to deal fentanyl and live in your own filth and do God knows what for free
Starting point is 00:32:57 all along, look, if you could sell that real estate, I mean, if you could sell Forest Lawn and some developers could put up luxury condos there, it'd be two million bucks a unit and that's for one bedroom. You can take over that stretch of real estate and live with impunity. You know, I'm just thinking there is a tennis club there.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Yes, across the street. Yeah, and it goes right to the tennis club, all this stuff. It's so funny. I didn't see the tennis club because it's now blocked by all the RVs. Yes, across the street. Yeah, and it goes right to the tennis club, all the stuff. It's so funny. I didn't see the tennis club because it's now blocked by all the RVs. Yes. Yes. Yes, across the street. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Or on the same side. Across from the golf club is what it is. Yes. Oh, my goodness. Oh, my goodness. Stryker had a wedding reception there. Back in... Back a long time ago.
Starting point is 00:33:41 You would never do that now. How would you go in? How would you get your guests in? What if that was your business? You did catering and weddings at the tennis club. You're going to invite people dressed to the nines and women in heels to like park down Forest Lawn Drive and walk across the damn nation alley, run the gauntlet?
Starting point is 00:34:01 And again, we're not saying that these are poor people. These are drug addicts. Yes. These are meth addicts. Yes. These are meth. This is meth, and meth leads to violence and weird behaviors and things, and so there you are. All right. Take yourself a little extendo break here at the end of the show.
