Starting point is 00:00:00 Oh, that's just me, Perez Hilton, drinking all the tea that goes on in this world. And with the way social media is, I just can't get enough. I'm obsessed. It's like every day something new and scandalous comes out and I want it all. I'm the OG of entertainment gossip. And if you are like me and have an unrelenting thirst for all the drama that's flying around, you should listen to my podcast, The Perez Hilton Podcast, available wherever you get your podcasts. Recorded live at Corolla One Studios with Adam Corolla and board-certified physician and addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Starting point is 00:00:48 You're listening to The Adam and Dr. Drew Show. Yeah, buddy. Woo! Get it on. Dr. Drew's board physician. And Chris Maxapattas brought some powerful local stories in. Missed him last week. I missed you, too.
Starting point is 00:01:08 So I want to get your thoughts on this. So the Weight Watchers CEO, Seema Sistani, they've been going through a big rebrand. I mean, they changed their name to just WW. But she has admitted that they have got it all wrong in the past. Yeah. And this is kind of their new world. Well, that's so funny. I was hearing about this story, right?
Starting point is 00:01:32 See, I haven't heard it yet. I was going to try to predict what her... Well, this is what people don't understand. They go, oh, yeah. They go, oh, we got it all wrong. It turns out that the supplements and the Ozempic and stuff like that, that's a better route to go. And I was like, oh, so they're getting into the business of the Ozempic business. Oh, that's what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:01:52 They got to make money. And the person that was telling me the story goes, no, no, they're just saying that they got. And I should read down the rest. Oh, yeah, they're moving into that space. I thought they should get into embracing people's bodies, types, whatever they are. They're thrown in the towel. Here it is.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Let's do this. Here she is. It wasn't until I was in these halls that I realized the mistake that we had been making as a company, that we were contributing to the shame that some members would have felt if they did our program
Starting point is 00:02:24 and it didn't work for them. Weight Watchers is changing again. Because I went to Weight Watchers and they helped make me a whole new person. In the 1960s, it shot to popularity by relying on discipline and moderation, along with peer support. In 2018, a rebranding to WW International embraced wellness over diets. On the new Weight Watchers program, less counting, more enjoying. But in 2023, another huge shift led by CEO Seema Sastani. Weight Watchers jumped into the booming prescription weight loss drug business,
Starting point is 00:02:59 acknowledging that for some, diet and exercise aren't enough. So I want to be the first to say I'm sorry. And we know better now. We will do better now. For many who are living with obesity, it's a chronic condition. And therefore, it is not a choice. So hold on. We needed to be the first.
Starting point is 00:03:16 There's a lot here. There's a ton, yeah. All right. First thing, let's just distill it down to its core. All right. If you don't eat, can you get fat? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:31 So if you just eliminate eating. Yes. Can you be morbidly obese? No. Okay. So we got that. Yes. I mean, we got a jumping off point.
Starting point is 00:03:41 But by the way, they were wrong about that? Or do they not know that before? Well, what they do... What do they get wrong? What they do all the time is... Here's what they do. They do... Who's they?
Starting point is 00:03:53 Because, see, I see echoes of COVID in here, too. Everyone who wants money does this, and then sort of mainstream media. Okay. They do this thing where they go, look, look, look. You know, Hamas may be the government of Palestine, but most Palestinians are very peace-loving, hard-working. So they do a thing where they
Starting point is 00:04:12 go, they'll go, diet and exercise works for some, but for many, but no, not for many. See what I'm saying? For many who are struggling with morbid obesity, it's a chronic, and you go, oh, so for just some people, which is everyone, your some means everyone.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Like when you go, but your average Palestinian doesn't, yes, they do, otherwise they wouldn't elect Hamas to be the government. Just like we wouldn't elect the Klan to be the government of the United States unless most of us were down with the Klan. See what I'm saying? So they do this, you know, for some, and the most, and then there's a little, what percentage
Starting point is 00:04:50 of people have a disease known as morbid obesity or obesity, simplex or complex or whatever, that cannot be medicated or controlled with like a thyroid issue that just literally exercise, eat sensibly, and I still just get fat? Like what percentage of Americans would that be? That's a small number. Under 5%? Oh, yes. Under 1%?
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yes. You couldn't, if I put 100 people in the room, not one of them would say, I have a problem where I exercise, I eat a problem where I exercise, I eat regularly, and I still am morbidly obese. You would get one. One. You would get one. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:30 One out of 100. And maybe two. Yeah. Oh, who didn't have a thyroid issue or didn't have some, couldn't be. Well, I would first want to examine their claims, you know. Yes. All right. But we've figured out that if you eat nothing, you can't gain any weight.
Starting point is 00:05:44 Then what if you ate just jicama and you exercised? You'd be pretty good. You would not gain weight. You would not gain weight. And what if we added celery? You would not gain weight. And what if we added bone broth? You would not gain weight.
Starting point is 00:05:57 And what if we added hard-boiled eggs? You would almost certainly not gain weight if you exercised. Well, now we're getting somewhere. But it doesn't taste good, now we're getting somewhere. But it doesn't taste good. Now we're getting somewhere. So you're saying, and could I be healthy living off of bone broth and jicama and celery and hard-boiled eggs? For a while, you could be pretty good. And a piece of steak.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Oh, now you're good. Okay. Now you're back in the meat. And would I get fat? Very unlikely. Would 99% of society get fat off of that? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:06:33 Well, now we know something. So what, is this like, is this false advertising? Are we saying that it's not a choice anymore? She's saying, here's what they're doing. There are people that have a chronic disorder where their body just sets the weight at a certain thing and even when they get down to like around 800 calories,
Starting point is 00:06:54 they just won't lose it. It's a really challenging problem. It's a population that people have been trying to figure out for a long time and the Ozembic immediately and then all that whole class of medicine, immediately impacted that group. But that just works on appetite.
Starting point is 00:07:12 Yeah. Right. But you said even if you're at 800 calories, you can't lose weight. So how does it impact it? They must go below, and they must exercise. I don't know. No, they're not staying at 800 calories. Possibly. Possibly. Alright, that's possible too.
Starting point is 00:07:28 It's 100% probable. Because if Ozempic gets them under 800 calories, they're probably going to be malnourished. Eventually, if they stay too long. And it does happen. That is one of the problems with Ozempic. Ozempic is for people who can't
Starting point is 00:07:44 control their shit. Ozempic is that people are ozempic is for people who can't control their shit who aren't look ozempic is not for people that are at a hundred eight hundred and one calories and can't get the weight off yeah they're people that have trouble with control who want to control it artificially yes let's not be so kind well that's most people these weak people yes now that's how i'm telling you most people are like mo most of most of – oh, most of the good folks of Palestine don't agree with – yes, most. Yeah, right. You're back into most, which is – and the problem is that you get so low, you start metabolizing protein and muscle and whatnot. And it's got some problems.
Starting point is 00:08:18 It's not – you know, the gastroparesis is really a serious thing if you get that, and it seems to be permanent. And a lot of side effects nausea vomiting diarrhea no free lunches no free lunch in nature and so so it's got to be worth the risk reward and all these companies getting into it it's it's kind of concerning it's it's there's going to be a downside there's going to be a reaction downside is people people have lost dominion over themselves that's the downside you're that's the downside you're you're bleeding into the sort of philosophical spiritual it's not philosophical or spiritual it's global i agree controls every facet of your life i agree with you you. And by the way, they're talking of using it now for alcoholism.
Starting point is 00:09:07 I don't know if you saw that in your research. Oh, Zembek? It diminishes all drives, all reward systems. How about chronic masturbation? Chris slipped me a note. I don't know how he formed it that fast, but I'm reading it. I bet it would work. I misspelled chronic.
Starting point is 00:09:25 I need to know now. I mean, if it's taken all the drives, that's in there too, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. And so there's going to be stuff. I'm in a predic right now because of how widespread this is. There's going to be problems. It's pharmacological, man.
Starting point is 00:09:44 You do too much pharmacology, you get in trouble. It's going to be a problem. It pharmacological, man. You do too much pharmacology, you get in trouble. Everything's going to be a problem. It's all a problem. We're there. Yeah, so the lack of dominion and lack of sort of spiritual fortitude, I'm with you on 100%. Listen, bathing in Purell for the last fucking 20 years is a problem now. It's a problem.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Everyone's got a problem with their stomach, with their thing, with the psoriasis. It's nowhere good. It will lead nowhere good. Well, you just had Sharon Osbourne here. She's been very public about her taking Ozempic, and she said she got too thin, and then she's quoted saying,
Starting point is 00:10:21 My warning is don't give it to teenagers. It's just too easy. You can lose so much weight, and it's easy to become addicted to that, which is very dangerous. I couldn't stop losing weight. That reminds me of people with anabolic steroids. That's how they get it. They like how they look and feel, and they just can't stop. Sorry, do we have more of her?
Starting point is 00:10:39 We cut her off? Yeah, we cut her off. I want to hear her. I want to hear her. Anyway, she's just lying. Look, here's just lying. Look. Here's where we're at, Drew. You ready?
Starting point is 00:10:50 Yeah. You ready? Yeah. Dig. We're in an era where one politician's over here. Yeah. And he says, you vote for me. You do 10 push-ups and you get strong. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:08 And there's another politician over there who says, you vote for me and you get a donut. Yeah. Where's the line? Where's the line forming? At the donut. At the donut politician. Yeah. And is that politician helping those people?
Starting point is 00:11:22 No. By giving them a donut? No. No. But people are weak and we want a donut and we don't want to do pushups. And we're now here. This is where we're at. And the donut crowd just keeps drifting further, further on, further on.
Starting point is 00:11:38 We do this with race. You know, we vote for Joe Biden so the black community can have a chance. He does nothing for them but agitate them and they get further adrift. Right. That's how it works. And we're here. And that's what Ozempic is. That's what all of this is.
Starting point is 00:11:54 It's all this. And we should fucking wake up and realize it. You should also you could argue also that it is the fascistic overreach and capture of so many companies by regulators and government and stuff. So, you know, pharmaceuticals are highly cozy with the regulators. Oh, my God. Oh, yeah. All the FDA officials get jobs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:18 I mean, all CNN did all through COVID is do a long commercial for Pfizer. Yeah. That's all they did. Because they were being paid by Pfizer. You saw it. The woman on MSNBC was talking about black women wearing hair relaxer and spun it into a vaccination infomercial. I learned so much.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Yeah, you learned so much. And she wanted to get your toddlers vaccinated because 20% of people who get COVID are going to have long-term organ failure. Damage. 20% of children organ failure. And I love it when they go like, well, when you drive a car, you don't wait until it breaks down before you maintain it, or whatever the fuck metaphor she used.
Starting point is 00:12:57 She was a shill for pharmaceutical companies, and her pharmaceutical shilling lasted longer than the title of the story she was writing. Yep, yep. Truce headphones fell off. All right. I aim not to disappoint. Let me just take care of some business. Just works, small business leaders.

Starting point is 00:14:13 That's JustWorks.com slash podcast. You're about to hear a preview of the Jordan Harbinger show with a skilled art forger who made millions selling his fakes. I was a storehouse of knowledge of how to create an illusion, present it to a experienced expert, and bring him to the inevitable conclusion that the painting is genuine. We flooded the market with my paintings, We flooded the market with my paintings, and eventually the FBI were led to my door. They uncovered a mountain of evidence against me. But they never actually got you.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Why did it go away? Why did you never get indicted? How are we having this conversation? I guess that's the greatest story of all. To hear details of how Ken Pereni evaded the scrutiny of everyone from the mafia to the FBI and lived to tell the tale, check out episode 282 of The Jordan Harbinger Show. All right, so let's see. I want to hear what she has to say. I don't need the whole piece. I just need her getting it wrong or whatever. Yeah, we got it. I want to be the first to say I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:15:29 And we know better now. We will do better now. For many who are living with obesity, it's a chronic condition. And therefore, it is not a choice. We needed to be the first to be proud and loud about the fact that we got it wrong in the past. We've been treating these medications like it's a vanity. And it's not. It's life-saving. In some ways, it's sort of make or break for the business, too, though, right?
Starting point is 00:15:53 Because this is sort of the direction this industry is going with or without Weight Watchers. I would say that's true. I would say that's true. And I think that people— None of this is true. Everyone has dominion over themselves. And we're giving it away we gave it work listen to me we gave it away to fucking barbara ferrer during covet we giving
Starting point is 00:16:13 we're giving all our dominion away that's all you have and we're giving it away it's insane you would not want your kids taking those fucking drugs. No. You would want them exercising and eating. All right. Here's a thought experiment. Quiet. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Does anybody know? You can settle everything with your quick little thought. Close your eyes. Anyone know a young, healthy child that died of COVID? No. Okay. So it doesn't affect kids. Does anyone know a person
Starting point is 00:16:49 who is disciplined with their diet and disciplined with their exercise and their body will not respond, including yourself? Does anyone know a person that is this way? If the answer is no, then they don't exist.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Just like the kid doesn't exist who died of COVID. There's a piece of this that you guys don't get to witness. You know who was a little bit that way? My mom. My mom was usually like kind of heavy, sort of went to Weight Watchers. She didn't go to weight. She wouldn't spend on, you know, Jenny Craig. She went to Weight Watchers. She didn't go to weight. She wouldn't spend on Jenny Craig. OA.
Starting point is 00:17:26 She went to OA meetings. Yeah. But all it did was sort of indulge her. And the people I know who have an issue with food, it's because they obsess on it. Like, I got to do this. I got to do that. I got to do that. Okay, tomorrow I'm going to start or whatever.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Those are the people who get fucked up with food. They have a sort of healthy relationship with food. You won't have a problem. My mom never – I mean, she wasn't a vigorous exerciser. She also did the wrong stuff. She ate pasta thinking it was a healthier alternative to red meat. She thought red meat, you know, meat was murder. So she was misinformed. She ate tons and tons of grain thinking that was healthy.
Starting point is 00:18:10 And there was never a piece of bacon in the house the whole time. Like eggs and bacon, no, grain. I mean, up until her death, she was telling me that she had granola. And this was good granola because it was sweetened with molasses, which is just sugar. That's not even the times of all the people today who do that. I have to have conversations with people all the time where I go, honey is sugar. And they go, yeah, but this is honey. It's natural sugar.
Starting point is 00:18:37 This is healthy. I've read on the internet that honey is – it's like, do you like it? Yes. Does it taste good? Yes. Does it make that plain yogurt edible? Yes. Then it's like, do you like it? Yes. Does it taste good? Yes. Does it make that plain yogurt edible? Yes. Then it's fattening.
Starting point is 00:18:51 My mom, to the end, was eating whole, these are oats, and these oats were harvested by a nun. And it's sweetened with molasses and brown sugar and honey. And that's why she should have been eating a fucking steak for dinner, but she wasn't. She was eating whole grain, whole wheat pasta with tons of pasta sauce, but no salt. So, and no butter. She's punishing herself and getting fat. You understand? So she was fucking dumb.
Starting point is 00:19:29 And she's stuck by the meat is murder thing sort of to the end. But she would go, oh, your stepdad and John and I were going to get these. They have whole grain muffins at this bakery. And it's like whole grain muffins. Like, I'm eating a health. If you gave her eggs and bacon for breakfast, she'd go, no, I'm not. I'm worried about my weight and my health. You know, so I got this whole grain muffin, a giant muffin.
Starting point is 00:19:51 She didn't know any better. It's not like she was purposely. She didn't know any better, but she never asked. She never fucking asked. She got indoctrinated into this fucking thing. It's the same thing people did with COVID. Like, you didn't know, bitch, but you didn't ask. You never asked.
Starting point is 00:20:05 You saw, you understand steak is a thing, but you politicize steak. You turn it in meat as murder. And you built some sort of elaborate, she built like elaborate scaffolding around this bran muffin, you know, and bacon, eggs, butter? No, no, no, no. That's animal. It's fat. It's animal. Fat. No, no, no. We have a whole grain
Starting point is 00:20:33 muffin here with margarine or whatever, and she never lost weight, but it's her fault because you say to yourself, here's the problem with all this stuff. COVID or this. Why do I know this shit? I might.
Starting point is 00:20:47 But did you know it back then? The Library of Congress scouring the books? No, I didn't know it back then. Is it her fault for not asking, though? I mean, like, nobody asked questions. How dare you defend my mother? The government was pumping that shit out, too. The government.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Mom, you hate the government. Why are you staring at the food pyramid? No, I didn't know it either. Nobody really knew it. But it was also convenient because a steakhouse was expensive and steak was expensive. We didn't go out or eat. White men in white shirts and skinny ties. Can you picture my dad barbecuing? At a steakhouse even.
Starting point is 00:21:26 Even at a steakhouse? No, no. They didn't want to do it, so it became kind of convenient. And no, I suffered from it too. I would eat a big bowl of mush in the morning with a ton of brown sugar in it, and it's like, oh, I'm eating healthy. I'm going off to work. I thought eating cereal in the morning was great.
Starting point is 00:21:44 I thought that was a good thing to do. What are we missing from this picture, you said? So a couple things. One of the things that I get to witness that very few people do is that there's a weird fear of hunger amongst a lot of people in this country. Oh, well, that other part is like the kids go to bed. One in seven kids go to bed with food insecurities like this more this is secondhand smoke kills 55 are you have you seen how fucking
Starting point is 00:22:10 fat our kids are one in seven go to bed with food insecurities and what the fuck does that even mean yeah it means mom didn't make the breakfast but remember when i went on a tirade about making your kids breakfast 10 years ago i know and you remember you remember what the HuffPo or the Young Turks had to say about it. Who'd they attack? You. Me. What about the moms who didn't make their kids breakfast? Any problem with them?
Starting point is 00:22:33 Yeah. No. They're proud. You hate children. Yeah. I hate children. Fuck. So literally people.
Starting point is 00:22:38 I get all of you. Right now. Do it. I'll be coaching them up on diet and they'll be like, but I'm hungry. There's hunger. And they literally panic about hunger. It's like, whoa, man. We have people that are not willing to be a little uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:22:54 You have to master your- Fucking suck it up, bitch. I mean, everyone's like, I couldn't remember driving my kids when they were little. And they're like, the kids are hungry. And the kids be like, yeah, we're hungry. And the kids would be like, yeah, we're hungry. And my wife would be like, pull over. Pull over and do what? We'll be home in 20 minutes.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Oh, no. We've got to pull it over. We've got to get food now. And I'm like, no, we don't. We don't. You can go super long periods of time without eating. The other thing, I spoke to a French woman once who was saying it's so bizarre the way Americans relate to food as the enemy. The food is the problem or it's an obsession.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Right. Well, in their world, it's a friend. It's a sense of nourishment and enjoyment and they have this sort of positive relation that we don't have. And then finally, I will just say I'm okay with the Ozempic for periods of time. I just worry about the – for know, for the extended use. I worry about people, everybody using it. It's just, there's going to be problems. Hey, I want to tell you about Miracle-Made.
Starting point is 00:23:52 Winter is here. It means struggling to find the right sleep temperature can be a challenge. Stay the perfect temp all night. I had a problem with this last night, in fact. There's silver-infused bed sheets inspired by NASA. They are Miracle-Made. Self-cooling, temperature-regulating, silver-infused fabric means better sleep every night. Yeah, last night I just got hot for some reason.
Starting point is 00:24:10 It screwed up my sleep for the rest of the night. Silver cleansing. That's right. The silver-infused sheet prevents up to 99.7% of bacterial growth. This Ozempic's going to go down with overuse of... Opiates. No, well... It's going to be just like that. No, I was going to say Purell and the – well, and – oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Antibiotics. Antibiotics. Yeah. It's going to harm. Yeah. It's going to harm. And whenever – here's a good rule of thumb for all of our listeners. Whenever you hear physicians evangelizing, like stepping out of their lane and going,
Starting point is 00:25:24 this is – we've got to go this way. And by the way, Weight Rodgers did nothing wrong and they wouldn't have gotten it when they got everything wrong. But the whole point is if they were still making money, they wouldn't say they got anything wrong. They're seeing market share. They're losing to Ozempic because people want to take a pill and lose weight.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Yes. But evangelizing about pharmaceuticals is where I worry because it's – and also things like lockdowns and stuff. When you have interventions that have significant downsides and somebody is just going – sounds like a religious leader in their relation to that, that's when you got to kind of worry about it. All right. We'll have to think about lean cuisine.
Starting point is 00:26:03 What else you got? Well, let's go to the other end of the spectrum then. So Washington Post just did this whole article on anorexia and wonder if it should ever be called or considered terminal. There's actually a doctor that argued yes. And they did this story of this woman in Amsterdam named Esther. She was 33, suffering from anorexia since she was 17, tried to kill herself several times, would have to go to the hospital, do all the treatment cycles,
Starting point is 00:26:35 weight gain discharge, weight loss, solitary confinement, where she was strapped to a chair and force fed. So they do euthanasia in the Netherlands, and she was considered fors eventually. So they do euthanasia in the Netherlands. And she was considered for it eventually. They're getting strong into it in Canada too. Yeah, they are. Oh, yeah. They're loving it.
Starting point is 00:26:52 Trudeau, come on, man. Loves the people. Well, he doesn't like truckers. In Canada versus, like the United States, we do it in 10 states and in Washington. But ours don't apply to psychiatric conditions where Canada is considering that. So anyway, so there's just now this big argument, like is anorexia – Did that girl euthanize? Yeah, she was.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Canada – oh, God, Emmy. Sorry. You're going to have to try to find this story. It's probably a week old, maybe a little more. Canada, there was a case where – and I think I'll get this right. Some newborn had a horrible disease. And Canada, with their healthcare system, was always like, we can't do anything for this kid.
Starting point is 00:27:34 This kid's going to perish. And some other country, maybe it was Germany, found out about it and said, oh, we can help this kid. And Canada said, no, no, we're good. There's a lot of kids like that. We'll let them expire here. And Germany said, oh, we have expertise in this and we have money. I may be getting the country wrong.
Starting point is 00:27:54 And Canada went, well, let's put it to the parliament here and take a vote. And they were like, no, the judge said no, it stays here. And the parents appealed it and they're like, no. And then they said, by the way, keep an eye on the parents, because we're scared they're going to grab the kid and fly to Stuttgart. Is that what you want? Does that sound? That's true doubt. What happened to that country?
Starting point is 00:28:18 What happened to Canada is Canada got about six years in front of California. Yeah. So if you want to find out where California is going, you just look at Trudeau and Gavin Newsom are essentially the same dude and they both think the same way. And that's where we're going. That's California is following Canada's lead. Canada, California was tough on COVID,ada yeah they they locked people in their fucking hotel rooms for for two weeks and shit i mean canada was crazy authoritarian okay he's a
Starting point is 00:28:54 progressive leader he's a progressive leader what then why why are all the progressive free to do whatever people why why they rule with an iron fist. Right. We're so worried about Trump. Well, that's the way to tell. That's where it always goes. Worry about Trudeau. Yeah. It's not Trump. It's Trudeau.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Yeah. So you don't understand that? It's bizarre. It is bizarre, but they don't study their history. That's the problem. So, yeah, just the idea that a potentially non-fatal but miserable psychiatric condition can result in euthanasia is troubling. You think to yourself, well, euthanasia is designed to hasten demise in people that have only misery to look forward to, like some advanced cancer, things like that. But you could argue that certain psychiatric conditions get you locked in similar kinds
Starting point is 00:29:46 of misery. But I don't know. That's a tough one for me. You find that story, Emmy? Not yet, sorry. I'm making that up. Well, Drew, you heard it. Did you?
Starting point is 00:29:56 I did not, but it certainly sounds like Canada to me. I mean, that sounds like... Oh, I thought you'd heard of it. No. I don't know. I don't know. What would you Google in? We'll revisit it.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Canadian infant dies. Canada, whatever. But yeah, that's... We're going with Canada. I'm sure it was in Canada. I'm sure it's where it happened. Yeah, California is going the Canadian route,
Starting point is 00:30:23 which is horrible. Give me one last story, then I've got to run out of here. Well, look, you're talking about Gavin Newsom. So they've been working hard. I mean Drew is supposed to be the homeless czar of L.A., but sweeping the homelessness. But they've been saying that because of the grants passed, which prevented city officials from doing the sweeps that they've been having trouble doing. And Newsom actually wants to do this. He actually said, like, I want to go – let's bring this to the Supreme Court.
Starting point is 00:30:54 We need to enact now. So can we get behind that? Yes. I'll get behind anybody saying – no. No, no. I'll get somebody – any sane policy. Listen, I don't, but here's what I
Starting point is 00:31:06 here's basically what my umbrage or issue is. You live in a house. You kept saying to your wife, you got to shut the front door because there's raccoons coming in the house every day. You shut the front door. Then you get up in the morning, the front door's open and
Starting point is 00:31:23 there's raccoons in the fucking house. And it's open and there's raccoons in the fucking house. Right. And it's a decade of more raccoons in the house. And you arguing with your fucking wife. Just shut the front door. And then at some point she wakes up one morning because she got rabies. And she goes, you know what? I think we should shut the front door.
Starting point is 00:31:38 And my answer is, thank you. That's a good idea. But fuck you for 10 years of fucking infestation with raccoons. But still shut the damn door. I'm with you, but I'm not calling you a hero. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. All right. Rancho Mirage Agua Caliente Casino.
