Starting point is 00:00:30 Globally, humans are facing massive problems that are widely ignored by governments and the media. Like personal space invaders. I had it with these couples that sit on the same side of the booth. Yak mouths. Stupid stick figure bumper stickers. Almond milk. You cannot milk an almond.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Hi, I'm Jennifer. And I'm Angie. We call her Pumps and we're the hosts of I've Had It. Pumps, tell the listener where they can find us. Apple, Spotify, Amazon, or wherever you get your podcasts. Nailed it. See you next Tuesday. Recorded live at Corolla One Studios with Adam Corolla and board certified physician
Starting point is 00:01:09 and addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to the Adam and Dr. Drew Show. Yeah, get it on, got to get on that. Doctors, board certified. This was cystic fibrosis mescaline. What's going on there, man? You see that hate crime act in Scotland, man. They're going to be like California soon. Oh man, they'll straighten everything out. Indeed. But the French underground, the resistance, where you're calling them,
Starting point is 00:01:41 is pretty stiff, which is interesting. It's so odd to me that a place that values, you know, the homeland of William Wallace would be going for shit like this. To me, it's like, wow, do we just not understand that was the heritage? Does it not come through anymore? When, you know, the past has no relevance. And by the way, when the past has no relevance and by the way when the past has no relevance whenever that has been declared 1972 It's always a horrible idea. It's always bad Lenin declared it Rose fear declared it. It's just the way now we know this time. It'll be different We're gonna do it properly this time and we have we know the answers now to all social ills, whatever it might
Starting point is 00:02:25 be, it always ends in a horrible disaster for people. Well look, you can't make a bunch of legislation that is sort of open to interpretation, like well we'll know it when we see it, you know, well we'll know hate when we see hate, you know what I mean? It always goes a certain direction, you know, and that certain direction is civil liberties start disappearing. Now, again, all the rules, all the rules have to have some basis have to have some basis in some sort of sanity, otherwise they can't get off the ground. The launching pad for all the bad legislation is some sanity, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:03:16 They go. Well, what's wrong with telling people they can't smoke in a park? There are kids at that park, and you know third-hand smoke's a first-hand killer, right? You know that asthma's gone up 86% in the last, you know? So it's- As cigarettes have gone down.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Asthma has gone up because we're sanitizing everyone's environment to the extent that they're- They're muted. You know what all the stuff's coming out? Too much sanitation, too much sunscreen. Okay? Too much of everything. I was saying was bad. Spraying chemicals all over your kid's fucking face before they go to the beach can't be good for them. I've been saying this, it's all, everything's a bad idea. All their ideas are bad ideas, but they don't – everything they have is essentially – here
Starting point is 00:04:06 it is. We're going to do a sanctuary city. We'll make LA or Chicago or wherever, Boston or something, we'll make it into a sanctuary city. We're all welcome. And everyone is treated with dignity and everyone has a seat at the table and everyone has world-class healthcare and housing and education and access. Access to dignity, where everyone has access to dignity.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Okay, so that's what we're gonna do in New York. We have that, right? That'll be that. There'll be no child that's ever left behind. We'll tell the cops to pull back. We'll put community ambassadors in here. And what we're gonna do is once we create these sanctuary cities where all people are welcome and treated with dignity, we're going to take those sanctuary cities and we're going
Starting point is 00:04:53 to raise them in minimum wage of $20 an hour so people can have a living wage and live in dignity in these cities. And you go, okay, sounds good. Call me in five minutes when it's a shit show, you fucking retards. Call me. You call me when people come flowing in and sleeping all over the sidewalk and McDonald's is no longer hiring high schoolers anymore
Starting point is 00:05:14 and they've bought 10 Flippy the Robots, the Flip the Burgers, and it's all kiosked now and nobody can find a job and Pizza Hut just laid off 1300 delivery drivers, okay? Well done. Well done. Nice job, idiots. But that's all any of this is.
Starting point is 00:05:33 It's always, here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna try to eliminate the fear. First off. How about the one running for senator wants to make it $50 an hour? Oh yeah. Why not make it 500? that's out here in LA California, okay
Starting point is 00:05:47 Okay, listen to me They always start with a premise, you know, I mean the third-hand smoke and kids, you know I'm not I'm not signing off on your premise I I do not think that hate speech makes people do something. It doesn't unless you're severely impaired, in which case you're gonna do something anyway. Right. God, what's his name?
Starting point is 00:06:16 Not Bernard Getz, but Berkowitz or whatever. Son of Sam. Son of Sam, Berkowitz I think. His dog told him to kill. Right, neighbor's dog. Oh, is it the neighbor's dog? Whatever. Son of Sam. Son of Sam. Berkowitz, I think. His dog told him to kill. Right. Neighbor's dog. Oh, is it the neighbor's dog?
Starting point is 00:06:28 Okay. So, should we police the neighbor's dog? Yeah. Well, dogs hateful. So, is Sam. What I'm saying is if you go online, and so there's this weird, they have this thing where it's like, you go online and you become weaponized by hate speech. Like, who exactly, who injected bleach? After Trump told everyone
Starting point is 00:06:47 to inject bleach, who injected bleach? Nobody? Nobody. Okay, well then maybe it's not a real thing that somebody can motivate somebody to do these things. Well, here, you know, back to the resistance movement. The guy went to the tower in University of Texas and shot 16 underclassmen or 16 students. Yeah. Who motivated him? Right. Something online? Was it the dog again? Who told that guy to execute people from a tower?
Starting point is 00:07:18 Yeah. Or would he just do it? You know what's interesting? It makes me think of something about how we are teaching people the opposite of how the human brain works. Yes. I saw people, poor Wendy Williams, you know, has this progressive frontotemporal dementia and it causes extreme behavioral outbursts. It's part of the dementing illness. And on Twitter I see people going, she can't treat people like that. I don't care. It's like, she can't, come to a nursing home sometime and see how people are treated.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Not the patients, the staff is treated by the patient because they can't, their brains aren't working right oftentimes. And this whole idea that everyone is willful in all circumstances, oh boy, that's how you get homeless. Starts to get homeless at the end of the street. All right, so you start, yes, you start, well, but then there's the mother,
Starting point is 00:08:05 there's a true face of homelessness. Come on, let's not forget about the real face of homelessness, the mom. Yeah, with three kids, lost her job. Two kids. Two kids. No, no, has a full-time job. Oh, right, right. Is actually working and living on the streets.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Okay. Well, she's getting the old minimum wage. She's not getting the new minimum wage. She's making 20 bucks an hour, then she wouldn't be on the street, but she's getting the old minimum wage. She's not getting the new minimum wage. She's making 20 bucks an hour, then she wouldn't be on the street, but she's divorced, and the guy's just kicked her out of his house. Because that's how divorce works.
Starting point is 00:08:34 That's what I found out about divorce. That's how it works. You just tell the woman, you give her, you tell her to pack her bags, she needs to be out by midnight. And then you take all her credit cards, you cut it in half with scissors, and then you don't pay lawyers or anything.
Starting point is 00:08:49 That's it. That's how it works. That's how it works. Yeah, so that's what Newsom's talking about, right? So she gets booted out after the divorce. She has a full-time job. I don't know where kids are during the summer, like during the day,
Starting point is 00:09:02 I guess just playing in the wash. That's the LA River or something. You'll find them down there, yeah. Find them down there, and then she's working full time. And then she goes back and sleeps in a refrigerator box with them, and then she goes back to her gig full time. I don't know if she has a clock alarm.
Starting point is 00:09:18 How does she wake up in the morning, Drew? I don't know, she must have a watch or, I couldn't afford that. Maybe it's like a sundial. Yes. Because she's outside all the time. I mean, you've got to find Newsom in that part. I don't know why it makes me laugh. Although, I mean, we should cry, but I mean, it's like, you want to talk about someone
Starting point is 00:09:44 who... But I mean, it's like, you want to talk about someone who, I no longer have words to describe Newsom. There's just something is wrong. That's all I can say. And he's running California. Where is the resistance when it comes to language though? That's what I don't understand. We need, the resistance needs to be more global
Starting point is 00:10:01 in its pursuits, let's say. I'll tell you how language works, okay? Yeah, okay. Okay. Okay, all right. Your body's like a giant radiator, okay? Okay. And it's like, if you don't change and flush it out, the toxins start to build up, and then the car doesn't run right, okay?
Starting point is 00:10:20 See that, Emmy? It's what your wife was telling you about your colon. You gotta get those toxins flowing. All right. Let's break down the film. There are certain accusations or traits or something that sort of work on a cellular level on almost every human being. So sort of persuasion techniques, hypnotic techniques almost.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Yeah, except for no, I don't even wanna go that deep with it. What I'm saying is every nine-year-old boy, if somebody said to them before they went off to school, say the mom, say the dad was at work, every nine-year-old boy who goes off to school and if the mom said, Make sure you come home straight after school, your father wants to speak to you. Okay, that kid's day is ruined. Because his mind is racing, what did I do, what did he find? And you find out, you know, the kid's flashing back to going into dad's change jar, pinching some quarters a few weeks earlier, and somehow he knows now or something, right?
Starting point is 00:11:44 But it's effective. You know, it's effective. And when you, and by the way, racism works that way. You know, like I accuse you of racism or that racial insensitivity, everyone goes back on their heels. Like it just, bam, like a sort of cellular, visceral reaction. Words are that way.
Starting point is 00:12:03 When you sort of, when people go, oh, what is it? Is it Stefan? No, it's Steven. Everyone goes, oh, oh, oh, sorry. You know, like they go, you go weird. And when people are telling you just how to pronounce things, you know, you kind of go, you get on your heels, like almost immediately.
Starting point is 00:12:26 It's a weird... So we have to stop doing that. You have to be aware of it. So hold on, it's the boss, it's the boss saying, hey, come speak to me after your shift, and then you come in his office and he goes, close the door. Okay, you're immediately on your heels, you know, that's everybody is on their heels, right? Defensive. And pronouncing things and pronouns,
Starting point is 00:12:48 all things, words get people on their heels all the time. I don't know why, but it just is. And the people that become aware of it and use it, and there's people who use the, I wanna speak to your dad, your dad wants to speak to you, or we got an issue or something. I can't tell you, you know, you tell me, especially women,
Starting point is 00:13:13 you know, and they go, we need to talk after work. There's an issue, there's a big issue. You know what I mean? Like, I remember the first time I sold out the Moore Theater in Seattle, it was 2,000 seats and it was sold out. Me and Mike showed up maybe, I don't know, 15 minutes before the show started and Donnie was there
Starting point is 00:13:36 and Donnie met us like at the door and went, there's an issue. And of course me and Mike would go, fuck, is the projector out? Is something going on with the fire marshal or something. And he goes, we had a bunch of t-shirts that were shipped here from Jeremiah Weed and they didn't show up or something. And we both looked at it and went, oh, who cares? And we went to the green room. But the people that use that as a thing, they use it. They try to get you on your heels. Women use it a lot. So a piece of what you just described is something called projective identification,
Starting point is 00:14:13 where people have an intense feeling they don't like and they have to push it onto you. Yeah, but the language part of it is get on your heels. So it's a power mode. part of it is get on your heels. Yeah. And a group has figured out that we can use that language to get people on their heels. And then they also, they do think something, they go, oh, so you're telling me there's no racism? And now they put you in some weird position where you have to defend racism or say, no, there's no racism. And then the person always, they always have to do the
Starting point is 00:14:45 prerequisite, listen, I'm not saying that there hasn't been inequities in the past and we all know, you know, we all condemn Jim Crow, you know, these like stupid. One of my things when I told Tucker Carlson is the way we get through this, is stop apologizing. It's also the preamble. I have many black people in the African American community. I've never mistreated them. So what is the right thing? It's just shut up.
Starting point is 00:15:16 I have a wife and I have children and my daughter, I would never abuse my daughter. It's like, yeah, of course. So what is the appropriate thing? Stop it it. Just, did you say stop it? Just say... It's just you're wrong, moving on, whatever, stupid, dumb thing that, you know, why you... Look, I'll tell you how it works. Over 10 years ago when I told Gavin Newsom, this is the problem with homelessness. There but crazy people and junkies. And he went, let me tell you the real face of the problem. I didn't say, wow, you make a valid point,
Starting point is 00:15:50 while there may be many noble, hardworking mothers, I just said, that's not the picture, that's a postage stamp, because I'm fucking eloquent. Not even a postage stamp, God, you're homeless. Well, what I'm saying is this. Yes, I like your eloquence, still. First, it doesn't exist, but it's not, he used the term picture homeless. I says not a picture to postage stamp, meaning it may exist. Oh,
Starting point is 00:16:13 this is 11 years ago. We wasn't full dawn of the death. You know, it was, there was, you would see bag ladies. Yes. You know what I mean? Like back in the day. Yeah. They all died. They let them die. Right. They fucking killed them. All right. All right. This show is sponsored by BetterHelp. As winter ends, people are getting more social.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Check your social battery. Therapy can give you self-awareness, self-assuredness to build your social life back, and it doesn't deplete you, it enhances you. And God knows on the heels of COVID, we all need more contact with other people. Adam and I both have been in therapy, we're huge fans, and obviously I've been sitting in mental health settings for many years.
Starting point is 00:16:59 And no longer stigma, everybody. You cannot use stigma as an excuse, because this is entirely online. If you're thinking of starting therapy, give BetterHelp a try. It's convenient, it's flexible. You just fill out a brief questionnaire, get matched with a licensed therapist, switch therapists anytime for no additional charge. There's no longer an excuse. BetterHelp makes it so easy. And by the way, I've referred family, friends, patients, been very pleased with the services at BetterHelp. Emmy? That's right. Find your social sweet spot with BetterHelp. Visit betterhelp.com slash
Starting point is 00:17:28 adamandjew today to get 10% off your first month. That's BetterHelp, h-e-l-p dot com slash adamandjew. All right. So, Emmy, you'll tell me when you find that news something which is comical. But yeah, when you hear the word salad, when you hear the word salad, that is the voice of somebody who's failing and who has no plan. You know, that's generally how it goes. But people are in, there's a lot of your moms out there, meaning Adam's mom, who are so enraptured and joyful of this kind of word salad, makes them feel good. It's all, it's so much of that. Well, what they don't want to do is something, you know, because the work is the work and you can either do it or you can talk about it, you know, and they like talking about
Starting point is 00:18:20 it. Well, that's right. And you, you know, the last show you were talking about people that sort of poked their head up and said something fishy going on here. What's the duration, do you think, from fishy to reality coming in? Because I feel like people, once they kind of wake up, it's going to be like people coming out of a cult fog. It's going to be like a rush. They're gonna go
Starting point is 00:18:45 Oh, oh my god. Oh shoot I now I kind of see things as reality as a way of rushing in once there's a crack in the wall And so I'm worried that this time from fishy Something's not right here to reality actually coming in is taking way too long for some people or maybe will never happen for some people. Well let's look at the duration or the life of hysteria in modern times. Okay. All right. Hysteria like?
Starting point is 00:19:16 Hold on. Bloodbath. Bloodbath came out of Trump's mouth for the sake of argument three weeks ago. Every news outlet, all the usual suspects, CNN, USA Today, all of the sort of useful idiot stooges did what they're supposed to do. They're trained to do. And what they always do. And what they always do. They dove on it, right? They dove on it, and they went hard for like 72 hours, right? Then what happened?
Starting point is 00:19:55 The other side started mocking them. Yes. And they got sufficiently mocked in the next 72 hours, and in one news cycle, one week, one basically news week, it was gone. Bloodbath gone now. Yeah. Right, now they used to be able to take those things and stretch them out over years. We're still talking about bleach.
Starting point is 00:20:17 Well yeah, we're talking about- Why do you think it's a campaign ad? No, he's talking about bleach, but everyone's making fun of him now. Are they? Yes, they're not listening anymore. Right, that's talking about bleach, but everyone's making fun of him now. Are they? Yes, they're not listening anymore. Right? That's what they don't understand, is people stop.
Starting point is 00:20:31 These things that they used to be able to make complete seven-course meals out of are now just snack packs. You know what I mean? Bloodbath, they heard – I mean, let's just really think about the trajectory in the life of bloodbath. They heard Bloodbath and they all immediately, whether it's written or just sort of implied or implicit, they all had their marching orders. Oh, he said Bloodbath, let's go, let's go, let's make a meal out of this like good people on both sides or march to the capital or whatever they're butchering this week.
Starting point is 00:21:07 They took it and they go, you know what we're doing? We're doing a full like Super Bowl campaign. Like everybody, top of the news, hit it hard. And they hit it as hard as they could hit it and as consistently as they could hit it, consistently through every one of their platforms and nothing came out the other side but mockery. Right. All right, and then they dropped it.
Starting point is 00:21:29 You don't hear them going back to it. They basically went, ah, we tried. Didn't really work. And as a matter of fact, we got mocked. So now, fuck it, we'll wait for the next six. I don't think they learned anything, though. They learned that being mocked doesn't feel good and not getting any... They're going to have to feel it a lot more times.
Starting point is 00:21:49 Getting no traction doesn't feel good. So the cycle that these things live in is much shorter than it used to be. And that's sort of the key to this. Did you also see RFK on CNN? Yeah. It was good. Yes. And he was calling out some of this BS. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:08 It was really amazing to see. It's always funny when the CNN reporter has to anchor person, has to like sit there and let him throw out about 13 things the Biden administration has done to attack our democracy. And then they go, well, what about Trump? They never – first things first, they never go, well, hold on, I disagree with some of what you just said, because they don't, because they can't, because they never hear it and they're really not prepared for it. And they never go, well, that's bad. They just pause and they go, are you done?
Starting point is 00:22:47 And they go, what about Trump? You know I learned this from my mom. Really? Well, what my mom would do is if you ever pushed back or questioned her or sort of begged to differ, when you're done, she would just stop. Silence. There'd just be silence for a long time. And then she'd go, Dorothy Gravich is moving to Paradise Castle, that's how they deal,
Starting point is 00:23:10 their way of dealing. It's a little passive aggressive. A lot passive aggressive. Now what I can figure out with Emmy, who's looking for this clip, is we've pulled this clip a billion times. So why isn't it just sort of on its own somewhere? I've literally been asking Byron that question.
Starting point is 00:23:30 I have no idea why that's happening, but I have the full interview here I'm scrolling through. It's toward the end, I think. But it's also, you know what the number one answer for where's that clip? It's always, it's mislabeled. Oh. Which I'm always like, why?
Starting point is 00:23:45 Huh, I'm gonna just say Gavin knew some homelessness. There's a lot of that. Everything is mislabeled. I'd love to hear what the label is so I can see what the thinking went into it. We're never gonna find out because we can't find it. But yeah, there is a lot of that. So Chris Cuomo seems to be kind of moving,
Starting point is 00:24:06 like he's doing kind of a Bill Maher-esque kind of thoughtful evolution. Don Lemon, not so much? Are you shocked? Well, Don Lemon, I mean, you have to think of it, here's his impediments, you know what I mean? By the way, he still gets a pretty big audience. I'm shocked.
Starting point is 00:24:26 It'll... It's way down. First off, still gets a pretty big audience. He's the biggest, it was the biggest controversy in the United States 10 days ago, and it led every single news outlet, every entertainment show. So, still gets a big audience.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Fair enough. Don't be retarded, Drew. Check with me in nine months and see what it is. Well, by still, I meant that gets a big audience. Don't be retarded, check with me in nine months. Well by still I meant that drove a huge audience and then it fell off, but it didn't fall off as much as I would have expected. Yeah, but it's been four episodes, give it 200, see where we get to. Don Lemon and all people who do this,
Starting point is 00:25:02 it's to their own detriment. He is black first, he is gay second, and he's a thinker third. And he puts everything through the prism of black man, gay man, and then the second one, the third one is critical thinker. But it all gets passed through black and gay first, which is gonna to throw off
Starting point is 00:25:25 your critical thinking. You know what I mean? If I'm approaching everything as an Italian American, you know, and I'm like, don't tell me Tommy Lassourda beat his wife. That man was a prince, you know? And you're showing me evidence that he beat his wife, but I'm Italian American and I'm not going to stand for it. Well, then I'm gonna be incorrect Yeah, you know what I mean understood and anybody Many women do this they put their shit through the prism as a woman or as an African American one then they're fine Okay, now you're gonna be now your batting average is going down Yeah, cuz you're factoring or as a Jew or as a Christian as a Palestinian
Starting point is 00:26:04 But people kill as a Palestinian you're like,, or as a Jew, or as a Christian, as a Palestinian. But people kind of- As a Palestinian, you're like, okay, now it's off. But now it's off because you're Palestinian, and now you know everything about what Israel's doing except you don't know anything. But that's the- Because you're fucking wrong because it's passing through your prism. Understood. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:22 But that's the feeling stuff, though, that people are just into. They like being a part of that. So it attracts people in some, it attracts your mom in some weird way, your grandma. It hurts your batting average. It does. And eventually I guess people look at the batting average, I hope. Yes. I hope.
Starting point is 00:26:40 Be nice. They have not been for a long time. You know what I mean? Batting averages are not something that people look at particularly. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no. Most people's plan is a fresh sheet of paper with a new tally. It's like if you're playing cribbage or backgammon or I don't know what the board game is
Starting point is 00:27:06 where you sort of keep a score. Cribbage is good. Is cribbage good? Yeah. Do you need a pad and a pen to play cribbage? Gin? It's a, it's a, it's a Gin, what about gin?
Starting point is 00:27:16 What about gin? I don't know, I don't want to be pad and paper. Bridge. Just two bridge. Bridge. Oh, I say gin, oh sorry, bridge. Yeah. Yeah, you're playing bridge. Yeah. So it gin, oh sorry, bridge. Yeah, plain bridge.
Starting point is 00:27:25 So it's like after every move you lose, you just tear up the sheet and throw it away and then we start with a fresh sheet. Like each move. Well, I understand how people live with themselves with that stuff. How do they forget? How do they not understand their batting average is shitty?
Starting point is 00:27:39 That to me is confusing. People's. They don't learn. Unyielding desire to factor themselves in to every single equation is very detrimental and it is at an all time high. All roads lead to narcissism. It's all roads lead to narcissism. It's all roads lead to narcissism. The golden rule is gone and people do way, way, I mean, in order to,
Starting point is 00:28:18 got it, in order to be a decent judge. All right, well let, block it off. What'd you label it this time? But listen, in order to sort of adjudicate things, you can't, I mean, okay, let's look at Trump in Manhattan. You have a crazy judge who hates Trump, right? So it's gonna be $450 million bond or whatever over some real estate thing.
Starting point is 00:28:46 I was gonna say over a real estate deal that went bad, except for it didn't, nothing went bad. So how's that gonna work? You know what I mean? And you can't really, people do that with themselves, like to the next level. I hear people doing it all the time. Like everyone under 40 just pow,
Starting point is 00:29:05 huge advocates for themselves, you know what I mean? You have to be able to float a little above yourself and go, hmm, did I do this right or did I do this wrong? Yes. And then there's a freedom in that because you get to be clear. Yeah. I mean, I have people tell me stuff two times a day.
Starting point is 00:29:23 I never did this, I was that it was there before month It's not you didn't All the time and they'll do it the next week and they'll just keep it going So alright, we have this clip of me explaining a new some postage homeless problem This notion of like the guys are hard-working God-fearing family member who lost his job and now had to take to the streets It's total not her. What about the in God-fearing family member who lost his job and now had to take to the streets his total nutter bullshit. Yeah, but what about the picture of real family homelessness? All right, pause there for a second.
Starting point is 00:29:47 All right, I just told him it was bullshit. He worked hard, he had a job for 30 years, he got fired now, he's living in the street. This 11 years ago, I said this is bullshit. And he says, but what about – Yeah, but wait a minute, but hold on. Lost his job and now had to take to the streets his total nutter bullshit. Yeah, but what about the picture of real homelessness, which is a poor mom with two kids with a husband
Starting point is 00:30:09 who took off and left her, who's sitting there struggling on that minimum wage job, and all of a sudden now is out in the streets and sidewalks desperately trying to find some help, get a life back, can't get those kids into child care. I think that's what happened to Jewel. Can't afford them. That's a tough thing.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Yeah, that's tough. And that's a picture of family homelessness in this country. No, that's a post of family homelessness in this country. No, that's a postage stamp. The real picture is bigger than the AIDS quilt and those are crazy junkies. Yeah, but no, so what, see, I challenge you on this. Yeah, but hold on, no, let me challenge, he's going to challenge me on it.
Starting point is 00:30:36 He's going to challenge me. Yeah. Junkies and nut jobs. Okay, Gavin, challenge me. By the way, Jewel's mom, wasn't she a drug addict? Was she ill? What happened? It's gotta be something. I don't, I don't. All right, keep going. What you're talking about is chronic homeless, which is the picture we have of homeless, which is a relatively small percentage of folks that are homeless. And those folks certainly are
Starting point is 00:30:58 struggling with drug or alcohol addictions, duly diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, now self-medicating with drugs and alcohol and the like. They got vocational issues, physical issues, et cetera. And those folks should be treated as separate category, and I don't disagree with that. But the vast majority of homeless are not in that category. They're bumped up with family and friends. There are three or four folks living in an SRO unit.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I've seen their entire room. Well, listen, if the vast majority of homeless people are living in a home, then I won't count them as homeless. I was gonna say, he's just, he's fucked with the category. Yeah, that's what they do. Yeah. Yeah. We're talking about people on the sidewalk that we drive by every day.
Starting point is 00:31:35 That's what we're interested in helping. Not the, not the, not the Adam Carolas that are in with four roommates trying to make a... Let me just do, let me check some quick math here. Emmy, who do you live with? My wife and my mother-in-law. And who else? My baby and my dog.
Starting point is 00:31:54 All right, so now which one of you is homeless? Because one or two of you needs to be, someone needs to be homeless because you're living together. Isn't that what he's saying? Yes, that's what he's saying. So I think you and your wife are homeless and living at your mother-in-law's place.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Correct. Okay, oh there you go. Well, it's a challenge. I live in the refrigerator box. It's a challenge, all right. Because that's how, that's what he's talking about? That's what he's talking about. Is that what we're talking about?
Starting point is 00:32:23 We're talking about homeless? That's not what I'm talking about. Oh, but that's the real's talking about. That's what we're talking about. We're talking about what I'm talking about Oh, but that's the that's the real picture of homeless Yes, it's so it's so Manipulative and underhanded. You know what I mean? So he's got my main thing with gavin newsom is is I scream at people all the time And maybe this is just my lament with my mom and stuff is there is something wrong with him
Starting point is 00:32:44 And everyone just looks at me goes he's a shrewd politician and i'm stuff is there is something wrong with him and everyone just looks at me goes He's a shrewd politician and I'm like, there's something missing. There's something wrong. Why don't you get he's tailor-made for, California? He's stuff. He's like Harvey Weinstein, you know what I mean? Like oh, let's take a picture with Harvey He can help us. You know what I mean? He's a horrible human being I know but he could do something for us That's why Gavin Newsom's Wife is going up to his fucking hotel room and staring at his cock. What you don't know that story You know, let's get into it in the next show, but I'm Gavin Newsom's wife and Harvey Weinstein. Oh, it's all perfect It's perfect. It's perfect drew. It's all perfect
Starting point is 00:33:24 Perfect. It's perfect. It's perfect, Drew. It's all perfect. They're all, but they're both, they're all sociopaths. That's the whole thing. You get it? I get it.
