Starting point is 00:02:41 You're listening to the Adam and dr. Drew show Yeah, get it on Get on choice or give a law wall, but you got risky Oh Gosh, you know, are you watching the Olympics at all? I have not I was at a club the other night and They were playing badminton I was at a club the other night, and they were playing badminton.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Women. And that's what was on. But I'll tell you something, I'm not proud of it, Drew. I'm not proud. Okay, it should be good. It was too, the sound wasn't up, and I was kinda half watching, waiting in the green room with some other guys were talking to Me and stuff, but it looked to me like two Asian countries were going at it badminton or me. Yeah, right
Starting point is 00:03:33 Yeah So it was two women two very Asian women on this side and two very Asian women on that side They were just sort of knocking the badminton shuttlecock around and then At some point, after watching it on and off for 20 minutes, I looked up and it said, it said like Japan versus USA. But then I realized, oh, the USA are Japanese.
Starting point is 00:03:56 You know what I mean? Which is kind of interesting. Ruins it a little bit. A little bit because it is a little weird to see their nationality essentially playing them, but it's one generation removed. Which is wonderful about the US,
Starting point is 00:04:13 but it doesn't read like we're playing them. It looks like Japan is scrimmaging Japan. And so I have similar thoughts. I was watching a couple of young ladies perform, it was women's gymnastics, and this one goes, oh it was, I forget what country it was, but the first, it was some, you know, small country. The first time anybody's ever represented, this country's ever had a representative at the summer games and in the gymnastics. This is Susie Smith, she goes to Arizona State and she trains
Starting point is 00:04:43 at the US Olympic Center. It's like, what? How does that work? She's from Kansas. And so, there was a lot of that. A lot of... And I thought to myself, well, everybody that wants to get rid of capitalism, this is sort of an example of how capitalism breeds excellence. It's not because we're so big. It's not because we're so big, it's not because we're so great, it's because we have a system that rewards superior performance. And that's at its core, it's a capitalist system. And I understand everyone's very critical of it these days. It's almost hard to say it without somebody attacking. Well, really what it is is it's always been around,
Starting point is 00:05:28 but we never really gave it any chance to sort of find any purchase in the collective psyche of Americans, which is. It being what? I know all this from dealing with my mom and like-minded losers, although there's great love. That's your next book. My mom and like-minded losers I've known.
Starting point is 00:05:54 Well, what it is is like, when you're not doing well as, okay, when you're a child and 10 years know, 10 years old, and you just failed the math test, right? So, and then somebody wants to know why you failed the math test. The answer is the teacher doesn't like me, or my pen was out of ink, or sometimes distracted by a leaf blower outside the window, or something, something, something. It's just something, and it's unfair. It's unfair. Unfair is definitely something that children think about, fairness. Right, they think about it a lot.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Now, when you're 43 and you're failing every test in life and you don't really want to look in a mirror and try to figure out a course correction, you start blaming, you know, unfair and certain people have this and certain people have that. And I don't have it and we can't have it, blah, blah, blah. And then certain people took all of it away and now there's not enough for me. Okay. But it's the same thing. It's
Starting point is 00:06:56 a child's mentality with an unfairness now that's in an adult loser body, right? But there is no internalization, is what I'm saying. Right. It's external locus of control. It's all happening out there. None of it's me. Right. So, that stuff used to be pocketed and quiet and not accepted by the mainstream or in society. Much like people used to wear sport coats to fly. You know what I mean? We didn't have a society that would, look, in 1963, if you tried to get on a commercial flight
Starting point is 00:07:41 with cut off shorts and flip flops and a t-shirt, you would have been escorted off the flight. Now I don't know that there was an actual written dress code. I'm just telling you, if you tried to get on a Pan Am flight in 1964 and you were wearing sweatpants and flip-flops and a tank top you would be removed from the flight. I would argue without there being any TSA at the time you still would have had difficulty walking through an airport dressed like that. Right. So we didn't tolerate it as a society and my mom and her friends were sort of outliers. They weren't tolerated embraced by society
Starting point is 00:08:27 Everybody who was a loser Thought there that way and every just like every kid has that feeling of you know, it's unfair And then why should I have to study whatever? But we sort of weeded it out of kids, you know, we broke them of it Yeah, and then as a society we looked at people like my mom and went, get your shit together and stop fucking harping. And no, no one's listening to you and you have no social cache or anything.
Starting point is 00:08:56 We don't listen to you. But there's still way more of my mom than there are hardworkingworking internalizing Americans. You know these days has always been that way back then for sure. These days we basically went look wouldn't you rather fly in sweatpants than a fucking dungarees or you know slacks you know I would yeah. Would you like to have your dog with you? Yeah I would just sitting there eating you like to have your dog with you? Yeah, I would. Just sitting there eating a sack of Funyuns
Starting point is 00:09:26 with your sweatpants and your dog, like that'd be good, right? And you go, well, kinda, yeah, I would. And then they'd go, but what about the social stigma? What about being judged? And I'd go, everyone's doing it. Everyone's trying with their dog and they're climbing in their sweatpants.
Starting point is 00:09:40 So- Just using the word judge, they would like, they'd recoil, like, well judge, you can judge me. Right. It's funny. It's Michael Steele because when my list says Tony Steele and I'm like, I don't really know who Tony Steele is either. And then Drew's like, who's Tony Steele?
Starting point is 00:09:56 I'm thinking, I don't really know, but my list says Tony Steele. Yeah, Michael Steele, you would know. All right, so, Honie steal, yeah, Michael steal, you would know. All right, so, so what we did is we listened to people like my mom, and there were many more of them than there are hardworking taxpayers,
Starting point is 00:10:15 I mean, in their soul, in their heart. And so we went, you know, people should get more, and other people are taking too much, and people start going, yeah, that's right, that's what I've been thinking, and these math tests taking too much and people start going yeah That's right. That's what I've been thinking and these math tests are too hard. Am I right? Yes, I am So says all the subpar math students. There are many more there's you know this many I'm holding my fingers close together a Math students and then there's everyone else and everyone's vote counts the same. Yeah. The three Asian math wizards in your class, that's just three votes.
Starting point is 00:10:50 There's another 41 shitty students who are voting too and the vote is who wants the lower test scores so we can be inclusive. And that's what we're doing. A lot of that's chick think but a lot of it's just weak think. It's just fucking people being weak. And they're buying into it and they're going along with it. And it's hurting the bottom line, obviously. Oh yeah. So there's no doubt about not competing, not being competitive and putting competitive
Starting point is 00:11:18 people in. Just look at athletics. It's the purest form of that, as you've always said. That's why we're attracted to it. Yeah. But there's an interesting thing in here, which I wanna, and you may just dismiss it outright, because I'm gonna bring it up, and that is the issue of fairness.
Starting point is 00:11:33 And I remember my mom used to always say, oh my God, that's social engineering. Remember social engineering? Do you remember that term? You don't hear that term anymore, because it got so pejoratively glossed with essentially pogroms and Chinese the Russian what do they call it where they pull the gulag they they they put all the farmers together on these anyway whatever with
Starting point is 00:11:55 it and all that was social engineering and eventually people everybody agreed that was a bad thing well we're kind of back to social engineering it seems to me well I mean as I yell about all the time with Kamala Harris, where it's just like, well, yeah, you can all get the same stuff, but if you started further back than the next person, then you're gonna be further, I mean. That's classic social engineering.
Starting point is 00:12:16 All right, but that is in fucking sanity. She's talking about full-blown communism at this point, and nobody thinks much about it. I mean the right does but the left's like, oh she's just talking like. Oh yeah, Mark Cuban's out there saying it's a meritocracy. What are you talking about? Of course she doesn't mean equity, equity. How could you run a business like that? He's literally saying these things out loud. She's saying into a microphone that even if we do everything for everyone equally,
Starting point is 00:12:42 the fact that some people started further back does not make it equal anymore, and we have to fix that. We have to get them all to the same place. Everybody. Okay, do you want to live in a place where everyone's in the same place? Well, if everyone could get to the same place, and that was some giant successful place, sure,
Starting point is 00:13:00 but that's not possible. Why would you even want that? What do you mean some giant successful place? Well, I mean, if everybody could be Elon Musk, I had some fantasy world that they imagined. I know, but what does she mean, the same place? That's the point, that's the point. I don't know what we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:13:13 She doesn't know what she's talking about. But there is an interesting piece embedded in this, and we never really talk about this, and that is that life is not fair. Life is not fair, period, for a million reasons, because somebody's smarter, somebody's taller, somebody's whatever. What is our responsibility to infuse
Starting point is 00:13:31 a certain amount of fairness into life? Is there any responsibility? Is it just the people that are really suffering, like actual physical misery? And what is the obligation to fairness? You know what I'm asking? It's kind of an interesting question, philosophical question.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Yeah, okay. I think it's baked into the family unit. Your obligation is to feed and take care of your family and provide for your family. Now, once that obligation is seen through, then we no longer need the government entities because it's all happening under the roof, you know. So I think the first thing we do is we go, look, we need to do everything within our power to have this stuff outsourced and have families deputized to take care of their own, feed their own,
Starting point is 00:14:31 provide all the stuff. When she's talking about healthcare needs to be universal and education and food, everything needs to be, well, it doesn't really need to be for me and my children. They're fine because I have provided that It doesn't really need to be for me and my children. They're fine because I have provided that for them. But then there are other families that don't. So the first thing we do is we go, let's just keep it all in-house
Starting point is 00:14:57 and see if we can do it literally in-house. Like have families do it. As much as humanly possible. Right, so encourage that. Create forces that improve that. Forces, encouragement, incentives. We used to do that. I know, as much as humanly possible.
Starting point is 00:15:11 And then there will be outliers, but it's gonna be a much smaller group now. So now we're gonna have to deal with less homeless and less crime. Is it gonna be, well how many years is that gonna take? Plus- Oh no, no, I'm saying if you could, if you could do the family. Then we're gonna have to wave a wand also
Starting point is 00:15:27 and create cultural pressures where you're sort of shunned if you don't pay attention to your family, you know? Well, an attempt to have it done. You know how Kamala Harris loves root causes? Oh yeah. Okay, this is what you call a root cause. Yeah. All the things you talk about, all the crime and all the neglect and the abuse and all everything you talk about. What was your phrase when the love lad is fucked up people having fucked up kids? Yes. Yeah. Yes. Now for
Starting point is 00:15:56 some reason the group that loves root causes does not love this root cause, the ultimate root cause. The rootiest of the root cause, root root root root root root cause is family and they don't like it. Now the reason they don't like it is A, it involves some judgment, B, some families fare better than others, so there's more judgment than attached to that, and then C, this is where the government comes in,
Starting point is 00:16:26 and that's what they want. And everything that comes out of Kamala Harris's mouth is something about the government. They don't say money, they say resources. We need more resources to combat childhood obesity and stuff like that. That's parents that are supposed to combat obesity. And by the way, I've not seen any proof
Starting point is 00:16:46 that the government does anything for childhood obesity. Well, and by the way, when they tried, it was the physical education program, remember that, JFK? And now they're like, oh, that's discriminatory. What do you expect people to do with pushups? Come on. Yeah, they're not, okay.
Starting point is 00:17:00 So it all starts at the family, and that'll nip 97% of it in the bud, but there'll be certain groups that'll fall through, but when those groups fall through, we'll have so many more resources and facilities, we're not gonna be overwhelmed. We can handle a few homeless people, we can't handle an army of homeless people. All right. Okay, let's uh,
Starting point is 00:17:27 We got we got Michael steals. Sorry Talking about Trump in the ear Which I even forgot exactly what this clip was but I wrote it down enough. It made me laugh again Remember we're shaving tents. Yeah shaving tentsaving tents. He's working hard. What's the difference between Trump, what's the difference between calling it an assassination attempt or saying he fell down on stage? You know what I mean? Well, tents. Tents. We're trying to get tents out of this. You understand? Let's start with last night in the band-aid. That's fine. What I, where I am at this point is it's been three days going on four since
Starting point is 00:18:08 this horrific event occurred. A person lost their life to have been severely injured. And yet we've not received a medical report from the hospital, nor have we received a medical report from the campaign or from the Trump organization about the extent of the damage to his ear. If he was shot by a high caliber bullet, there should probably be very little ear there. Is there cosmetic surgery? Yeah, if you shot with a high caliber bullet, okay, I'm going along with you on this, there'll be very little ear there. unless he hit the very edge of the outer ear. Or even just some sort of shockwave through the, you know, of a significant disruption of the ear.
Starting point is 00:18:55 Well, what I mean is if a high-caliber bullet hit the center of your palm, it could blow your hand off. Correct. But what if it just hit the end of one of your fingers? That would be different. Right. Is he not able? They're not able to do that math, but he's shaving tenths of a second.
Starting point is 00:19:12 He's shaving tenths. You see what he's doing? That's the most, by the way, anyone knows the story, knows the guy at a rival, the guy fired a gun and it just nicked his ear. The same way if a knife thrower threw – well, if a guy threw a machete at you, yeah, if it hit you in the lungs, then you'd be dead. But if it just nicked your fucking ear, then you'd be lucky. But it's like saying this guy had a machete and all it does is nick his ear. Yeah, because it just nicked his ear when he threw the machete. I roll it back again. So this is him now. He's not dumb
Starting point is 00:19:49 He's shaving tents and By the way, the commentators just go well, you know Hey Michael wouldn't blow your ear off of the high caliber thing if it didn't hit it. Yeah All right Sorry the Trump organization about the extent of the damage to his ear. If he was shot by a high caliber bullet, there should probably be very little ear there. And so we'd like to know that.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Is there cosmetic surgery involved? What is the prognosis for recovery? Were there stitches? What is the extent and nature of the damage to his ear? Was it caused by a bullet as opposed to a some reports from those on the scene other reporters? Saying that it was actually shards of glass from the teleprompter itself not the bullet So there are a lot of questions around there shave those tents shave intense This guy's an expert. He's on MSNBC.
Starting point is 00:20:46 Same guy would say you're not entitled to any information about Biden's healthcare. Right. No, no, about Biden's health. Health or healthcare? The same thing. No, I mean when you say Biden's healthcare, it sounds like, oh, Obamacare, goofball. His health and the guy, what they'd have done for him. Yeah, not entitled. Right. And they would say, I was like, yeah, he has protection, privacy, just like anybody does. You shouldn't have any, why would you think about it?
Starting point is 00:21:10 I get the shards of glass from the teleprompter thought. Perfect. Teleprompter just blew up. What are you going to do? I had too much exaggeration on it. Has anyone seen an image of a teleprompter with a bullet hole in it? Or any teleprompter? You would think in it? Or any teleprompter. You would think that with all the cameras poised right there, someone would take a nice dramatic shot of the teleprompter, wouldn't they? Well not Michael Steele.
Starting point is 00:21:34 He doesn't know. He's not sure. Well they took a picture of his shoe. So they undoubtedly were fishing around for evidence of what had gone on. Oh really? There's a picture of his shoe on the stage. Oh okay. The point is they were taking images of the drama
Starting point is 00:21:49 that had just unfolded and the aftermath. Well, there's footage and pictures of the teleprompter glass stuff that's up on the C-stand. And the bullet going by. If the bullet hit it, then we would know the teleprompter glass was shattered because I think Those are just glass that is reflecting an image from yes the bottom. Yeah, right. Yeah And by the way, I'm they they I always thought they were sort of loose side or something
Starting point is 00:22:19 They may not even they not even break. You know what I mean? They might just they may not shatter bigger part. Yes Yeah, no, I have no idea what they're. Point is, what's Michael doing? Shaving tents. Shaving tents, that's all. There's a nice picture. Shaving tents. Both teleprompters.
Starting point is 00:22:39 This is somebody's article debunking the conspiracy of the teleprompter. And that's with him on the ground. By the way, there is no conspiracy of the teleprompter. And that's with him on the ground. By the way, there is no conspiracy of a teleprompter. It's Michael Steele lying and sort of promulgating a retarded notion that's never had. There's no, there's no teleprompter conspiracy. That's just guy shaving tents talking out their ass. You know what's so interesting to me too, They have moved off the teleprompter a bit
Starting point is 00:23:05 into bullet fragment. Yes, yes. Or shrapnel or something. Well let me explain how stuff works. All right, here's how they work. They go, officer Sicknick was bludgeoned to death with a fire extinguisher. They go, wow, that sounds brutal.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Killed him, killed him. Then laterher. You go, wow, that sounds brutal. Killed it, killed it. Then later on it's like, wow, that sounded pretty fucking good. I mean, when you're talking about a violent insurrection, how about bludgeon to death with a fire extinguisher? That's fucking brutal. Man, it sounds like you're dealing with animals here. Well, it wasn't bludgeon to death with fire.
Starting point is 00:23:42 Oh, okay. How about bear spray? Somebody got shot, choked, like someone just shot this bear spray all over your face and you just had a reaction to it and choked out. How about that? Good. It's good, it's not as good as the, you know.
Starting point is 00:24:02 And then we'll remember them. It's not as good as the fire extinguisher but it's still good. I mean still a guy getting killed right? We're talking about a deadly insurrection here. All right so let's go with the bear spray. All right. No retraction on the. Later on it's like well he had a stroke in his office but But caused by the bear spray, right? So here's how it works. Shard of glass from a teleprompter, not that dramatic or as dramatic. No teleprompter, no shards of glass.
Starting point is 00:24:41 Well, maybe it was a fragment of the bullet, not the whole bullet. How's that work? You know, when you fire a gun and it goes like 150 yards at some point, a fragment breaks off. You're like, well, that's not really, well, let's just call it a shard or a fragment of a bullet. Here's the whole point. Getting hit by a sniper's bullet,
Starting point is 00:25:03 that sounds kind of heroic. So let's not do point. Getting hit by a sniper's bullet, that sounds kind of heroic. So let's not do that. We don't like that narrative. Let's go bullet fragment, okay? That's kind of our bear spray. Yeah, so we know, and we don't know. Could be a fragment from, it's a pretty glary shot. Are you unable to wrap your mind around the fact that somebody fired a gun and it hit
Starting point is 00:25:28 a part of a person, but not the main part of the person? Right. And, let's remind ourselves, any part of a bullet or a FRAPNO in the head is devastation. Yeah, but... You know, so I don's a matter of was a BB I'll go with the fog it was fired out of a high grade rifle high power right there They're trying to do shard or fragment or something the fragment math. They're doing fragment Then know what they're doing is what they did with sickness
Starting point is 00:25:59 Dying at your desk through natural causes no good good for our theme. Best for our theme is fire extinguisher, except for that, there's no film of that, that's been debunked. All right, so let's move to something in between, because we gotta narrative people, we have a narrative. Now, we tell people the narrative is the truth, but we have a narrative, and we gotta get to it. We have votes to shave, let's go. We just gotta shave some tents.
Starting point is 00:26:26 That's all. Now let's get to talking about JD Vance talking about cats. Yeah. That's a thing. Cat ladies. That's what you need. Hey, we've got a bunch of voicemails here, people that are kindly leaving them for us.
Starting point is 00:26:42 Why don't we go to Jeffrey in line four, see what that's all about. Mm-hmm. Hey, guys. This is mostly a question for Dr. Drew. Ow. Dr. Drew, I seem to recall you at one point saying that you were able to gauge certain aspects
Starting point is 00:26:58 of a woman's orgasmic functioning based on the sound of her voice. So I'm curious to know if you have any thoughts about how that works and why. And I'd really like to know if you can describe the specific quality in the woman's voice that sets off your spidey sense. Thanks guys. Keep up the great work. He sounds a little, I know it's like a little like a ransom note when he's talking. But remember, so people always bring up us talking about women with the little girl voice, which is a different thing.
Starting point is 00:27:32 But you remember, don't you, that we used to hear that voice and go, okay, that sounds like a six-year-old. What happened to you when you were six? Right? Yeah. Now it's everyone who's in the trans community. I'm like, I'm gonna have to hear them. I just go, what happened? Something happened. I think to be fair to them, whatever it was, I think things were a little worse back in our day. Like the six-year-old sexual abuse was overt and chronic probably.
Starting point is 00:28:07 And what we were documenting then was that people, strangely, their voice, because there's developmental arrest emotionally that happens with those kinds of traumas, that the voice also seemed to arrest. There was some sort of no why that would occur. People's self-concept, I guess, gets the, you know, as always with trauma, there's a part of the self that gets left behind. And that part, oh, I know what it is, and that part is very much regulated by the vagus nerve. And the vagus nerve innervates the brachial pouches and the neck, which is the vocal cords and things like that.
Starting point is 00:28:47 So it makes sense to me now that that would figure in to the dysfunction of regulation, which is kinda interesting. Yeah, I just kinda, I go a little simpler with stuff, which is people sort of look and sound like who they are at a certain point. Angry people, they look angry. Racist people start to kind of look racist or look angry. Gay looks gay, you know. It's a thing, you know. And I start to realize that as, you know, it's a thing, you know, and I start to realize that as, you know,
Starting point is 00:29:29 as human beings, they're sort of, you know, we go, oh, look at that guy with the big muscles, I wouldn't mess with him, you know, and you go, okay, that we understand, but there's a part that goes way deeper than that, you know, like when, it's like like what I was saying about Joe Biden. I was watching him as an animal, as a human being, as a species, and I was going, something's off.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Something's off with him. He's moving in a weird way. You go, well, look at him. He's got eyes and an eyebrow and a face, and he's smiling. You know what I mean? It's like, no, when you're walking down the street with your kid and you see some guy at the end
Starting point is 00:30:10 moving a little weird, you're like, let's cross the street. I don't like the way this guy's moving. You know what I mean?
