Starting point is 00:02:42 specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to the Adam and Dr. Drew show. Yeah, get it on, get it on, get it on, get it on, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. Dr. Drew's more first-size says it, Herbalife. Yeah, yeah, that's me. Oh, speaking of Herbalife,
Starting point is 00:03:01 Tony Villars gonna be, because I, Tony Villar's gonna be, Tony Valar? I remember the name, I can't now place it. Tony Valar's the real name of Antonio Villarrocos. Oh yes, I was gonna bring this up with you. Yes, yes, yes. This lying sack of shit is coming back. He's coming back for governor.
Starting point is 00:03:20 He's coming back. You know what, we have a woman that works for us, she's worked for us for 30 years, she is a part of our family, she's an older, well much older, she's like 85 now, Polish woman. And she comes in this morning, she go, Villa Regosa be governor? She doesn't speak very good English. I go, no, I don't think so. She goes, he's stupid, yes, he's stupid.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Well. He failed the bar four times, everybody. Four. Is there anything that's disqualifying anymore? Again, it's not him. It's the fact that my mom would definitely vote for him. But you know what? And it's scary to me.
Starting point is 00:04:04 This should be a scarier thought for you. Maybe he wouldn't be as bad as some of the bullshit that we deal with. Maybe he'd be just a nothing, which would be a relief. Well I, yes, well, but here's, I think the problem. Remember... It's not a terrible thought. It's true. That thought is so vivid in my mind.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Like, yeah, nothing would be a relief compared to these assholes. You know, telling you how to live and engineering everything and centralizing it. There's just some guy who doesn't do nothing. Yeah, so here's the... I think this is the new world order. And I don't... You know, I can't say for certain but Biden was presented as inert Uncle Joe back to normal yes and so you and I may have had some
Starting point is 00:04:57 agnostic thoughts about all right so just fucking normal old-school politician guy just nuts and bolts you know doing back of the big doing the stuff well how bad could it be because you're not really gonna do anything he's just gonna kind of get rid of the craziness we're coming back to normalcy and and he's gonna be very consistent and he's got a track record that's 50 years old and it's gonna be basic uncle Joe Biden you know and and that's where getting back to you, as civility and practicality and a kind of an old-school sort of thing and I was like, you know, agnostic on it, like
Starting point is 00:05:34 all right, well maybe he will. No, he won't. And the reason he won't is because whoever his party is is not gonna tolerate that anymore. They're gonna control the shit out of him. And they're gonna set the agenda. And so there's no more individuals. So we gotta get rid of the parties. Well, look, Trump's gonna do whatever Trump wants to do. Joe Biden is gonna do what the party wants him to do.
Starting point is 00:06:01 As at, well look. Well you're saying Villa Gross is Biden. Well what I'm saying is I don't know if Newsome wanted to keep schools closed indefinitely during pandemic, but the teachers unions told him that's what you're doing. And so he did it, you know what I mean? And I don't know that Rochelle Walensky wanted to keep schools closed indefinitely,
Starting point is 00:06:24 but Roberta Weintraub, I whatever her fucking name is, that crazy bitch, Rand Weingarten, told her that's what we're doing. So she's running, she's making policy, you know what I mean? Fauci's making policy. The teachers unions are making policy. They will control this person. So you can say, well, Viragosa's inert. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:06:50 Like, well, he's just a dude. He's just status quo kind of guy. He's no longer allowed to do that. That's not how it works. The fringe, I don't know if the fringe, but the crazies are setting the policy, not the person whose name is on the figurehead, you know, not the figurehead or the masthead. That person's not controlling.
Starting point is 00:07:14 The New York Times is not being controlled by a 63-year-old white guy. It's being controlled by 28-year-old chicks. They're setting the agenda. Whatever's going on on Harvard, whatever's going on in Stanford, whatever's going on with the LA Times, it's not being controlled by conservative, but I mean just sort of old school, liberal, basic, fundamental, you know, meet and petes. No, no, no. It's the nut jobs that are controlling it. The young chicks in the administration are calling the shots.
Starting point is 00:07:45 What the fuck do you think happened to Biden? Biden's entire presidency was him just meeting with the transgender community. Hey, here's a 22 year old transgender kid. Let's get him into the Oval Office. Do you think that Joe Biden hasn't, did he have any interest in the transgender community or express any interest in them or are they just fucking doing what they told them they forced them to do or whatever it was?
Starting point is 00:08:16 Hey, we're doing Juneteenth celebration. Stand here. Yeah. Here, who's this black fellow? Oh, that's a- Fellow. Who's a colored fellow? That's that's a, who's a color fellow? That's George Floyd's brother, who's he?
Starting point is 00:08:29 Stand next to him. Stand next to George Floyd's brother. Yeah. All right, so what'd he do? Did we told him. Stand next to George Floyd's brother. Now, if somebody said to me, Am, we're doing a thing,
Starting point is 00:08:42 and we're gonna have George Floyd's brother, I'd go, I'm not standing next to George Floyd's brother for the entire fucking Juneteenth celebration and fucking brothers a criminal Other brothers are criminal, too. No, I mean his George Floyd's a criminal like what no, I'm not what the fuck here Get this transgender guy over here get George Floyd's brother over there and then you stand in between start dancing Otherwise gonna look weird. He doesn't fucking know what he's doing. Who does that? Who put him up to it?
Starting point is 00:09:10 You know what I mean? Who's controlling this? You think somebody's gonna take over California and the teachers union and the legislature and all those fucking crazy Yenta bitches are gonna go, well, he's in charge now, let him do what he wants. No, he's gonna do what they want him to do
Starting point is 00:09:28 because they've been taken over. So you've completely changed my move from when I started. There is no more, look, if that was gonna happen, Biden would have done it already. It being nothing. Yeah, just steady as she goes, stay the course, let's ride the middle of the wave here, you know, we would have had some border security. They were already in such a hysteria over the over the COVID. There's no way anyone's gonna be the governor of California and
Starting point is 00:09:55 just start getting back to nuts and bolts and being sort of basic or even inert. They're gonna have to do what they're told to do. Well, isn't a teacher going to tell the governor what to do? Yeah, of course. But I was going to say that I was starting to feel sort of positive. I occasionally have these waves of good moods and optimism that come over me. And not after this little time, I was like, and I know better than to argue with you, you know, because You can argue if you disagree with anything. I don't disagree. I just hate the fact that that it's you're probably right, you know, it's just terrible.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Well, Joe... Look, two... Joe Biden spoke more about the black community than he did about the economy. Joe Biden spoke more about the black community than he did about the border. He spoke more about the black community
Starting point is 00:10:56 than he did about Israel. He spoke more about the black community than education or taxes or the deficit. I mean, he just did. And you take the black community and the trans community, you put them together, that's the lion's share of what Joe Biden spoke about during his administration. Do you think?
Starting point is 00:11:16 Do you think he's interested in either one of those two subjects? Okay, well, that's what he was told to talk about. But he is such a political animal. Do you think he just puts his finger in the air? Just whatever oh, yeah, he'll do whatever right? Yeah, so we had this Hysteria and then riots and he started getting some political capital out of that Mm-hmm, and I think he just he wouldn't have done that had it been for those circumstances seems to me
Starting point is 00:11:41 I don't I don't think they think it's not effective I just think they don't really they think it's not effective. I just think they don't really. Well, very quickly you learned it was. There's no such thing as inert anymore. No, like just I'm just gonna fill this, be a seat filler and keep the trains running on time and balance the budget.
Starting point is 00:11:57 There's none of that. You gotta have a hard agenda. And the agenda people aren't satisfied with whatever the agenda was two weeks ago they got to move to the next one you know so whatever you know whatever Newsom is talking about the third transgender aisle for the toy stores and you know whatever he doesn't we don't we don't have the we have the amber alert and the ebony alert for the missing black kids and stuff like that. He's just doing what some that's there's not his ideas
Starting point is 00:12:30 Right somebody's just going what would be the craziest most fucked up radical thing you could do. There's a congressman Who is this douchebag out of he's in Orange County to he wants to get rid of clear It doesn't think it's fair at the airport. Because somebody can pay for it. Because you can pay for it. Yeah, I remember that. That was six months ago. Thank God I haven't heard from him since.
Starting point is 00:12:54 He's trying. Still? I don't know. He would like to abolish Clear. Right. And Nithya Raman, she's mad at Toyota. So, you know, there's a great... That's the craziest thing of all. That one?
Starting point is 00:13:13 You made it too easy to pull out the catalytic converters. If you have a blowtorch and a jack ante. And Toyota, who makes the Pri Prius car makes it super easy To put remember I told you women fucking just destroy language all the time super easy You need a fucking a settling rig or a cutting wheel What do you talk about super easy? There's nothing where sparks are there sparks flying out? It's not super easy. If it was super easy, people wouldn't do it at 3 a.m.
Starting point is 00:13:51 They just do it at the Costco parking lot. They just slide in and grab it and slide out. Wouldn't they? Yes! If it were super easy. That's the, she's the chickiest thing of all the chick thinks, although.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Is Villa-Rigosa a chick think guy? I think he's pretty that. He'll go with the chick think, he'll do the chick think. The chick think is what do you want me to do? I'll just do it. But there's a great chick think of Kamala Harris when she was getting tough on the ICE director about the perception. Emmys got it somewhere, but it was—
Starting point is 00:14:36 Is it whipping immigrants? No, that was good. I mean, the whole whipping the Haitians thing was pretty good. That was great everyone Ran to a microphone including Biden. Is it hard? I was not gonna miss a Chance to race hustle when they get these things wrong time after time Doesn't anybody raise an eyebrow now when they run to them? No, I think they don't which is a or maybe they do I don't I
Starting point is 00:15:03 I don't, which is, or maybe they do. I don't, I don't know. That's my thing. Like how many times can you be wrong before you start to slow down a little bit and answer an infinite number of times? This is her talking to Homeland Security guy about the perception of race with ICE. perception of race with ICE.
Starting point is 00:15:30 244, let me hear it. No, it was wrong to do. Why was it wrong? Because those are offensive words. Why are they offensive? Because they have history in this country and I honestly did not mean it that way. But please talk about the history. What is the history.
Starting point is 00:15:45 What is the history that would then make those words wrong? Well, the Klan was what we would call today a domestic terrorist group. Why? Why would we call them domestic terrorist group? Because they tried to use fear and force to change political environment. And what was the motivation for the use of fear and force? It was based on race and ethnicity. Right.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Are you aware of the perception of many about how the power and the discretion at ISIS being used to enforce the laws? And do you see any parallels? I do not see any parallels between I'm talking about I'm talking about perception. I do not see a parallel between what is constitutionally mandated as it relates to enforcing the law. Are you aware that there's a perception? I see no perception. Are you aware that there's a perception? That puts ICE in the same category as the KKK. Is that what you're asking me? No, I'm very
Starting point is 00:16:42 specific about what I'm asking you. Are you aware of a perception? All right, hold on. I like when they get the kind of sending no, that I'm being very specific. Like he's asking a specific question, which is ICE and the KKK. Are they perceived as the same? And then he's going no for for the fifth time I like that she thinks that immigration customs enforcement is the KKK but you can roll back a couple of seconds because she gets kind of sinning but he's trying to tell her no are you aware that there's a perception no are you aware that there's a perception ice in the same category as the KKK. Is that what you're asking me?
Starting point is 00:17:29 No, I'm very specific about what I'm asking you. Are you aware of a perception that the way that the discretion to... I see no parallel. I see none. I'm not finished. I'm not finished. Are you aware that there's a perception that ICE is administering its power in a way that is causing fear and intimidation, particularly among immigrants and specifically among immigrants coming from Mexico and Central America? Are you aware of that perception?
Starting point is 00:18:03 I do not see a parallel between the power and the authority that ice has to do its job and the agents and officers who do it Professionally and excellently with lots of compassion sir How can you be the head of an agency and be unaware of how your agency is perceived by certain communities? There is a lot of perceptions in the media and in the public that are incorrect. I don't know How do you answer perceived? You know what I mean? I don't know how many how many people does it take? For perception. I mean one person could say I think of ice like the clan. Yeah, so that's a perception of that person She keeps wanting him to answer the question
Starting point is 00:18:41 wanting him to answer the question. But the perception, not that you guys are like the Klan, but that people think you're like the Klan. I'm not sure, first off, it's not really an answerable question. No, it's not. He either has that perception or he doesn't. Right, and he's saying, no, the ice is nothing like the Klan, and she's gone. That's not what I'm saying
Starting point is 00:19:06 I'm saying the perception that it is now That's a chick thing circle argument about nothing either way I get That the people that were being that the people that were being removed or brought somewhere detained or something by a group would not like that group that was doing that to them. That they would want to avoid them and they would not like them. She's worried that they hurt the people's feelings. And by the way, she's like predominantly from Mexico and the tri-state, or she's saying central, it's a triangle, and Mexico, and central and south,
Starting point is 00:20:01 and I was like, yeah, that's where they're all coming from. That's predominantly, yes, I get it. They're different. It's not the Irish that are being rounded up. They're not encountering the Irish as much, but anyway. That's her just doing the racist. That's her just race hustling.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Yeah. It's cool, right? Everyone's race hustling. All right, good. Well, I've asked Angel's question. Who's gonna agitate the black people now that Biden is gone? No, maybe Kamala can keep going.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Okay, all right. I don't feel it's as good coming from one of their own. You know, I feel like old whitey agitating black. It's more effective. Interesting. Yeah, so who's gonna do it? This show is sponsored by BetterHelp. Now, you may consider self-care non-negotiable. Of course you
Starting point is 00:20:47 should. Don't fall into that trip of hungry, angry, lonely, tired. But with life packed with kids and work, it's easy to let our priorities slip. I'll tell you one non-negotiable priority should be therapy. Obviously I've been referring patients, family, to BetterHelp and very pleased with the services they provide there, the professionals. Of course, I've also been a patient myself and or been somebody who provides mental health services. If you are thinking of starting therapy, you might want to give BetterHelp a try.
Starting point is 00:21:16 It is entirely online, convenient, and flexible. It's just remarkable to me how much can get done through these virtual meetings now. So much excellent service is being provided. You just fill out a brief questionnaire, get matched with a licensed therapist, and now that you can switch therapist anytime for no additional charge for any reason. Isn't that right, Emmy? That's right. Never skip therapy day with BetterHelp. Visit betterhelp.com slash adamandjew today to get 10% off your first month. That's better help HELP com slash Adam and drew all right what else were we looking for Senator Josh Newman was I looking for
Starting point is 00:21:54 something with that or who made that up he's the douchebag trying to get rid of clear oh that's right Josh the dou they were. The douchebag get rid of clear. Yeah, I mean. Get rid of clear. There's a great tape of him, because they always say, you know, when people don't have a point, or an angle, they have to sort of create stuff.
Starting point is 00:22:16 Oh, sure. Like, oh, so you're sitting there waiting to get in, some guy comes barging in and goes, step aside. Like, it's like, nobody does that. You get walked. You get walked to the front where security is, and then the person waits for them to stop processing or finish processing the person who's in front of you, and then they slide it.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Nobody's ever told anyone to get out of the way. And no one is gonna do clear isn't traveling a lot. A lot, yes. And if you're not traveling a lot, it's not that it shouldn't bother you. It's like, you know what I mean? It's just like you shouldn't even notice it. It is under the heading of things that need to be addressed. This does not crack the top 10,000. No. As a matter of fact, I don't think anyone would think of this. Like if you said to somebody, look,
Starting point is 00:23:06 we got Senator Josh Newman, retired from Orange County. I need you to sit, I'm gonna give you a steno pad and a thousand pens and I need you to really start thinking about what this guy might wanna do. You go, well, something with the homeless? You know, you go, no. Something with school systems, something like that? No, well, something with the homeless? You know, you go, no. Something with school systems, something like that? No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:23:28 How about collecting rainwater, something like that? No, no, forest fires, no. After 10,000 hours of you filling up Stenopads with ideas, you'd be like, maybe something with feral cats or something? They need to be, they need homes or something? maybe something with feral cats or something, or they need to be, they need to homes or something, some legislation with feral cats, like, no, no, he wants to get rid of Claire. Yeah. You'd be like, what? And just think about that. What is that? Was that a thing? Think about this. You know, you know, for sure, it's not because somebody complained to him about Claire,
Starting point is 00:24:01 it's because his narcissistic ass was standing there and felt envy when somebody got a little bit, cause he didn't know enough to get clear and his place in line was knocked down one slot and his narcissistic ass got pissed. I, I, again, you're, you're so right. It's only for frequent travelers. The frequent travelers are keeping the lights on at that place Yeah, not the people that leave town once every five years pay for and they do this thing
Starting point is 00:24:29 It's like people don't have enough money You don't need if you don't have enough money to fly then you don't need clear then you're fine. I There is a tape of him Explaining this and I think it were to the TSA pre also while they're at it explaining this. Why don't they get rid of the TSA pre also while they're at it. It's not fair that somebody gets to go ahead of anybody else ever.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Well look, for that, what about the A group and the B group and the C group? Yeah, get rid of that. And what about business and coach and first class? Oh, no, well that's under threat already for real I think. Why have anything? I turned left on a plane two nights ago. Ooh, left? Horrible.
Starting point is 00:25:09 What? Nothing, like really bad. But you got to turn left. I turned left and it was a shitty, shitty setup, completely. Shocking for a transcontinental flight. Where'd you go, New York? Yeah, back home, back from New York. And you turned left?
Starting point is 00:25:23 Turned left, it was a 757, I think it used to be one of those, remember those PSA flights they used to have? Those were so good and United. But I turned left and it was just sort of like the kinds of seats you think, why did I, I should have, I should have just gone coach. Why did I do this? On a left turn. Left turn. I've never had a bad left turn experience. Well, I made note of it. That's why I brought it to you. Okay Yeah, all right. Well, we'll see if we can find Josh new and Talking about this ground breaking legislation. This whole episode is making me upset. Well, it's California, man We do we we we like some of the dumbest people. Hey, I I
Starting point is 00:26:04 Talked to a foreigner leader of the state who emphasized that to me. Are you saying former or foreigner? Former leader of the state. I don't want to out who I was speaking to. Oh, I know who you're talking to. And he was just like, you don't know how dumb these people are in the Senate.
Starting point is 00:26:17 It's starting to become evident when I hear Nithya Raman talking about Toyota, and it wasn't just that her premise was insane about that, her wording of it and her thought process were fucked up. She seemed like a 10 cent head. I know she went to Harvard or Yale or something, but that ruins, I think that makes you worse It's not detaches them from reality or something like you know I mean she's like and well and what about Toyota making the Prius making the parts super easy to steal and right there out in the open where everyone can steal steal it and
Starting point is 00:27:05 right there out in the open where everyone can steal it. And we just gotta have something with stealing cars. Like she didn't verbalize it correctly. There was not logic in her thinking, yeah. There was not logic in her thinking, but her illogical thinking wasn't even presented normally. At the very end, she didn't say stealing of catalytic converters, she said cars.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Right, you're right. That most politicians can present illogical material and make it sound pretty good. That's sort of their skill. Yeah, Adam Schiff lies, but he does it in a skillful way. He just lies and lies and lies, but he doesn't, you know, sort of as a technician. But he lies, but in a very well-put-together sort of sentence. He doesn't... But Nithya Ram is just a... She's a dunce. And it's scary. It is scary. It's scary being led by these people. How do we get out of this? I feel like some of it is we need a restoring sort of ethics and honesty and honor and things like that that keep people straight.
Starting point is 00:28:17 I guess. I don't know what the... Speaking of LA Board, did you see Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's daughter arguing against getting rid of masks? I saw that and I thought it was three years old. I didn't know it was recent. I think it's recent. I think it's recent too.
Starting point is 00:28:43 And that's what makes it all the more incomprehensible. Yes. I mean, we have an, I barely present, I, I feel like I want to take somebody like that and walk her through a hospital. Like let me, let's walk through hospitals, see how many cases are, are you going to be scared by what you see here as it pertains to COVID? You're not going to see anything. I, that was a good one.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Her rat-a-tat tanning about masks. What did she want, mandates? Yes. I just like the idea that an 18 or 19 year old would even think that they could do that. When I was 19, I would have been like, what do you want me to do? Go down there and settle their hash.
Starting point is 00:29:24 I'd be like, why? Why would I do that I know it's gonna listen to me I think your version is preferable oh yeah low self-esteem baby yeah yeah 100 so there's an example where high self-esteem takes you to thinking you everyone needs to listen to me I saw I see a lot of that on social media these days people with very elaborate opinions that I shouldn't even hear about, let alone care about. Senator Josh Newman, audio's ready. All right, let's hear it.
Starting point is 00:29:57 All clear really does is it moves me in front of you and we get to the same place in front of the conveyor belt. Only by then you're mad, the TSA agent's all stressed out, and I paid $189 because I think I'm better than you. How is that? What is he talking about? He's a fucking full blown retard, Josh Newman is. He's full tard, he's gone into full tard mode.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I think I'm better than you. And you're mad, you're stressed out because you saved a couple of minutes that stresses you out? The TSA guy's mad, the customer's mad, you're mad, and he thinks he's better than you. Or you think you're better than him. Talking about projection, man. Woo!
Starting point is 00:30:33 Yeah, I think I'm better than you. I think I'm better than you, and I'm bad. I used clear three days ago. I did nothing to feeling better than anybody. Well, Josh Newman, what about guys who have wheels on their luggage versus me with my duffel? Is he, they think they're better than me?
Starting point is 00:30:50 They do. Because I got wheels? They must. Should we outlaw their wheels? They're mad. How about the guy who got the grande over at the Starbucks versus the guy drinking from the drinking fountain? Feel better?
Starting point is 00:31:02 Think he's better than me, does he? How about everyone in the first class lounge? Well, sure. What about all them? Well, that needs to go. Yeah, I mean, they got their charcuterie plates up there. Either that or we have to hide it so I don't have to see it.
Starting point is 00:31:16 Because it's that I got mad seeing it that the problem exists. Thinks he's better than we are, does he? And what about the duty-free shop? The giant bottle of vodka. Right. People thinking they're Toblerone bricks. Those people think they're better than we are? How about the guy gets picked up in the town car versus me in the shuttle? Right. Fuck that guy, right? Get rid of town cars. What's he doing? Thinks he's better than I am? Give him the wheels. It's because he's got $300 to get back to Yorba Linda? That's bullshit right there. Well that's what's under all this, right?
Starting point is 00:31:50 Yes. That's where it goes. Yeah, it's sort of a class warfare. I just like, we've got to hear it one more time, full-tard, because thinks he's better than, it's like nobody thinks, I don't have any of these thoughts. No. I traveled to the airport. We have low self-esteem. We feel shittier than everybody.
Starting point is 00:32:07 I see people traveling with like three kids under nine and I feel bad for them. That's about as far as I get with the feelings at the airport. And then once in a while I see the hipster guy with the linemen, the linemen boots, like the big fucking boots because they have to wear them everywhere
Starting point is 00:32:23 because they're hipster guys. Like they can't wear fucking, they cannot wear tennis shoes and sweatpants because they're hipster guys. And I'll see the guy totally undoing the boot, you know, with the hooks and everything. And I'm like, ah, you poor fucking idiot. You have to undo.
Starting point is 00:32:38 By the way, you just laced this shit up at your apartment 45 minutes ago and now it's taken all down, because you got to be hip. TSA probably gets good entertainment by the way. I've got good entertainment from hipster boot guy, at your apartment 45 minutes ago and now it's taking it all down because you gotta be hip. TSA probably gets good entertainment out of that. I've got good entertainment from hipster boot guy but alright we'll play one more time. Hipster boot guy.
Starting point is 00:32:53 All clear really does is it moves me in front of you and we get to the same place in front of the conveyor belt. Only by then you're mad, the TSA agent's all stressed out and I paid $189 because I think I'm better than you. Okay. So anything that moves people, it's, well how about the fast passes at Disneyland? We got to get rid of that too. That's next. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:17 All right. Oh my gosh. Fucking total retard. All right. There you go. That's what he's doing. That's what he's working on. He's got thoughts. That's good. I that's what he's doing. That's that's what he's working on. It's got thoughts
Starting point is 00:33:25 I'm glad I have thoughts about homeless guys and Winnebago's dumping raw sewage into the bay But he has thoughts about this.
