Starting point is 00:00:00 Recording live at Corolla One Studios with Adam Corolla and board certified physician and addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to the Adam and Dr. Drew Show. Yeah, get it on, got to get on that chest. Drs. Boer first op session, tic-tac-tac specialist. What's going on there, Drusky? Remember I was looking out my window in Florida
Starting point is 00:00:25 and I said, there are people walking on water or something here and you said, oh, that's a sandbar thing. It's a big thing in Florida. Yeah. Look at how the sandbar thing has evolved. It's so huge there. They just go out and stand on sandbars
Starting point is 00:00:37 and they bring their dogs and things. Yeah, I know. And it's like sort of just standing on a sandbar drinking beer, letting dogs run around. Yeah. What? I don't know. That's why you have a boat?
Starting point is 00:00:48 I guess, you know, it's a lifestyle thing. I guess. I was trying to understand it. Anyway, so yeah, I made a list of, last week we were, last show we were talking about the sort of fact that from the point of view of Alyssa Milano and others like her, everybody else is sort of a cartoon character unless you agree with her. And people, other people were voting for hate.
Starting point is 00:01:15 That's it, hate. They wanted hate and that's what they wanted. And you said they're voting for something else and I thought I'll make a list of some of the things I've heard people say they were voting for and they wanted. So one of the common things was, this guy will fight for me as opposed to this small minority interest I see getting fought for, then I'm left behind. There's this sort of feeling that people were not being represented by their government, but some tiny, tiny, tiny little minority that was on the outs was where all the energy was going.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Who are you talking about? People who voted for Trump. So that's the question. They're not just voting for hate. They're voting for the government to be responsive to them since it's their tax dollars that are going into it. Yeah. So which is the other thing, waste of tax funds.
Starting point is 00:01:59 No one's talking about where my tax dollars are going. Where are they going? There's this giant deficit. What about the deficit? What about the corruption? Is there ways to save money to help the deficit? What about the border? What about the crime? What about the... What was the other thing I put? I guess the rest would be the excesses of the woke ideology. They were just sort of tired of that. They're beaten up by that. But there was real things, the prices, crime, mandates, border, fuel, taxes. These things were like really, I mean, and ultimately for me the headline is,
Starting point is 00:02:35 this was supposed to be a government of the people by the people for the people. What are they doing for me? California, they do nothing for me. To be fair, they don't have a constitution that's set up quite the way the federal government is. So there's no such philosophy being stated here in California. But the federal government is supposed to be for us. It's our money, and they're using it to represent our interests. Where? How? And now you're finding out when the USAID and all this stuff is uncovered, you realize the profound nature of corrupt when the USAID and all this stuff is uncovered you realize the profound Nature of corruptions and the NGOs and all these things that we didn't even know were underway Yeah, our interest the average person is gonna go. I'm glad they're doing that
Starting point is 00:03:14 I wish we had so much money in this country and we had no deficit so we could help the world Right can't we can't that's cuz I hate Adam. Yeah, well, it's there like I said It's their narcissistic tendencies that cartoonalize everybody else As I send it drew on the ride over it's all these these people are nerds and they're into comic books And this is their comic book version of reality You know this person does this because they're bad you know what I mean nobody really does anything
Starting point is 00:03:52 because they're bad oh the evil is done in the name of good always always yeah it's safety safety just got laws are safe. All right. Daphne has some news stories, I believe. Yes, I do. So your first story is Trump Health Secretary nominee, RFK Jr. clears Senate Finance Committee confirmation vote. Yeah. Does that mean he... I'm trying to understand. Does that mean he's in or is that as good as in or...
Starting point is 00:04:19 No. He still has to go through... The Senate has to make the vote yet. The full Senate. But he cleared the Finance Committee vote. But as a matter of fact, does that mean he's pretty much got it or I'm worried about him? Yes, I think he's pretty much there. Okay, good. That's good.
Starting point is 00:04:36 That is good. I have friends that are worried about the excesses of some of the pronouncements he's made in the past. I worry about too. I want him to take a very measured approach. He, look, he has said to me, I worked with him, I talked to him, as recently as two weeks ago, and he said, here's the thing. I want vaccines to be scrutinized under the exact same standard as any other pharmaceutical product, period, end of story. That's it. He doesn't even care about the
Starting point is 00:05:03 liability thing as much as the data to get approved be the same as any other standard pharmaceutical agent. Number one. Number two, he's going to take a RICO statute against the major medical publications because they have been distorting from an editorial standpoint for quite some time. Now what they get right about COVID. Exactly. They lied. I don't, I mean, you say distorted and true. They didn't publish contrary opinions. They did a lot of lying all through COVID. By the way, it's so weird, you know, they, Trump just took away the security clearances
Starting point is 00:05:41 of the 51 spies who lied, you know, on the dossier stuff, not the dossier stuff, the Hunter buying laptop stuff. And is the NIH or this is the, you know, JAMA or whoever, New England Journal of Medicine. These are these esteemed... Publications. Well, I don't want to say FBI is not a publication is what I'm saying. Institutions. Institutions that willingfully, they lied. They lied to try to swing an election. Is that bothersome or we just, I know you agreed with them, but that that's okay?
Starting point is 00:06:37 You know what I mean? Like you're just moving right on or didn't exist or what was it? Well, they believe they were fighting Hitler. I guess. I mean there was an article and it was in the Atlantic I think that just said I don't get why did people play play so fast and loose with their with their standing. The Atlantic did? That's amazing. I think it was the Atlantic. I don't I, but it's basically, they wanted to know why you would spend all these years building up your reputation and then just throw it all away
Starting point is 00:07:12 with some lie that you signed on to. And now you have no security clearance. It's weird. Well, I guess there was hubris in this gigantic infrastructure. They never thought they'd get called out or whatever they. Or dismantled, which is what's happening now. Yeah, so good. RFK with these publications, publishing bullshit,
Starting point is 00:07:34 they lied all through COVID. It's interesting for about a year. So I rely on these journals for my medical opinions and I could tell that something was wrong, that there was nothing, just this one sort of note being rung over and over again. And I will always remember in May of about 2021, it might have been 2022, Annals of Internal Medicine published an article on the beneficial effects of fluvoxamine and inhaled corticosteroid. I went, oh, ah, okay, that you weren't even allowed to talk about that
Starting point is 00:08:01 a month before, or six months before, certainly. And here was a positive study in an alternative intervention for COVID. Yeah, it's all patterns for me. So every single alternative measure against COVID you guys attacked. Everything. Everything. So what is that?
Starting point is 00:08:20 Why you, meaning MSNBC or CNN, are you folks who like alternative something to big pharma? Why the attack on any alternative, anything? Steve Kirsch did that original study on fluvoxamine that looked very positive that it turned him into a radical. They screwed him so badly. He became like a maniac after that in terms of assailing some of the excesses of COVID and vaccines.
Starting point is 00:08:46 Yes. All right. What else you got, Daphne? Well, take a look at this video of Senator Bernie Sanders surfaced a no-vax, no-problem baby onesie sold by the RFA Junior nonprofit. Just before you, I just want you to know that Susan went out and bought a onesie from the Children's Health Defense Fund and they they had they were sold out in minutes after this exchange so funny and they were and they now said we're going to back with tens of thousands we have new versions she bought this one says little resistor on it oh well and for our grandchild and had a special promo code Bernie. In the way that Freeze Beach, the human right, I would say it's different
Starting point is 00:09:40 because with Freeze Beach doesn't cost anybody anything, but in healthcare, if you smoke cigarettes for 20 years and you get cancer, you are now taking from the pool. So are you guaranteed the same right? Or is there also a duty? I'm sorry, I'd love to talk for an hour with you. We got a few minutes left here. All right, every other country in us says healthcare,
Starting point is 00:10:08 whether you're poor or rich, younger roles are human right. I'm not hearing you say that. All right, you've talked about the drug companies and maybe we agree on this one. As you all know, despite the drug companies making over 100 billion in profits, paying CEOs outrageous compensation packages we in
Starting point is 00:10:25 some cases pay ten times more for the same drug will you support legislation that I will introduce which says that in America we should not be paying a nickel more for prescription drugs than people around the rest of the world yes no to equalize it not to equal it, that we should not be paying. Hold on, hold on. Where's the onesie thing? First off, you started the clip. All right, turn my mic on or up or something.
Starting point is 00:10:54 All right, there, test one, two? Yeah. Okay. You start a clip in the middle of an answer, but no, we don't have the question. The question was good. He asked if he thought healthcare was a human right, and then RFK said a very stewed answer, which is, well, not like free speech, this costs money.
Starting point is 00:11:15 All right, well, we'll take a quick break, then we'll play the clip we wanted to play. Better Help, this show is sponsored by Better Help. Pluto TV has thousands of movies and shows all for free
Starting point is 00:12:49 Pluto TV stream now pay never Alright, but even if we had the whole clip The whole exchange why don't we have the beginning part where he asked him if it if health care was a right? All right. Well, anyway, Bernie Sanders horrible old man, but here's that here's the onesie clip, right? You're the original right now as I understand that on their website. They are selling what's called onesies These are little things clothing for babies One of them is titled, Unfaxed Unafraid. Next one, and they're sold for 26 bucks apiece, by the way.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Next one is, No Vax, No Problem. Now you come in before this committee and you say you're a pro-vaccine. Just want to ask some questions. And yet your organization is making money selling a child's product to parents for 26 bucks, which has fundamental doubt on the usefulness of vaccines. Can you tell us now that you will, now that you are pro-vaccine, that you're gonna have your organization
Starting point is 00:14:02 take these products off the market? Senator, I have no power over that organization I'm not you part of it are designed from the board. That was just a few months ago. You founded that You certainly have power you could make that I've are you supportive of this I've had nothing to do with you supportive of these onesies. I'm supportive of vaccines Are you supportive of these this clothing clothing, which is militantly anti-vaccine? I am supportive of vaccines. I will, I want good science and I want to protect the vaccine.
Starting point is 00:14:33 But you will not tell the organization you founded not to continue selling that product. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Look at what Megyn Kelly behind him laughing. He's such an idiot. I know. Well, then he, he, look, look, he collected millions of dollars from pharmaceutical companies. How Bernie did. Yeah, not from the CEO.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Not from the CEO. Well, wait, you know what I don't- I know what to say to the CEO. I don't get, when a drug company offers me a pen, I'm not allowed to take it. That pen did not fucking come from the CEO. Right. It comes from some sales rep, but I'm not permitted to take it because it's thought to adulterate my judgment, so I don't take it. That pen did not fucking come from the CEO. It comes from some sales rep. But I'm not permitted to take it because it's thought to adulterate my judgment. So I don't take it. You, MFers in Congress, should not take that money.
Starting point is 00:15:14 When Bernie was saying he didn't take money from the CEO or the company, he was taking money from the people. Yeah, I don't know what he's talking about. Does he? What is? And you can find that clip too. He doesn't have a super PAC, so he doesn't, he hasn't have ways to funnel money, but he's one of the top. He was saying it was coming from the people, which I don't know what that means.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I don't either, but let's say it did. What do you think that they're not trying to go along with whatever's going on with the boss, you know, whatever they're being told to do and their employer? Well, did anybody on the left, anyone in the Democratic Party during COVID stand up and go, hey, I don't know how effective these vaccines are. They don't seem that effective. Also, what about all alternative medicines that may be already on the shelf. Yeah, yeah, did I? Hear any that from anybody did we or okay? Oh?
Starting point is 00:16:12 It was the Democrat back then All right, you can clear the screen if and you don't want to another break we can just get used to that and Yeah, that clip I I don't get it. He kept saying it was from the people, but does he mean the employees of Pfizer? Yes, he was implying that, but the point is, nobody is talking about taking money from CEOs.
Starting point is 00:16:37 We're talking about taking money from companies, from lobbyists that are paid by companies. Right. The fuck? Okay, I know, he's a fucking I I don't I don't get I Don't get that Tolerance like he seems like such an old buffoon who's done nothing in his life. I don't get why That is attractive to some people. It's so transparent that he's so worthless there, you know back
Starting point is 00:17:09 in the days of the, what revolution was it? It was the Russian revolution. No, it was during the Nazi setup. There was equally as many communists as Nazis. And the young people just wanted change. And so they were going to go one way or the other, and then they kind of went with this one group eventually. It's kind of the same thing now. Bernie was showing change, change, change. Like, yeah, we need some change. Now they're going with Trump a little bit. So it's interesting. All right, Davne. Got another story?
Starting point is 00:17:38 Well, I actually have some more Bernie for you. RFK Jr. accused him of taking pharma money in a heated hearing. Take a look. Oh, that's it. And by the way, Bernie, the problem of corruption is not just in the federal agencies, it's in Congress too. Almost all the members of this panel are accepting, including yourself, are accepting millions of dollars from the pharmaceutical industry and protecting their interests. Oh, I thought that that would come, no, but I ran for president like you. I got millions and millions of contributions. They did not come from the executives, not one nickel of PAC money from the pharmaceutical
Starting point is 00:18:23 industry. They came from workers. In in 2020 you were the single largest So he's saying he's being serious. I didn't accept money from sweet rolls when I ran for a president But in 2020 as our case pointing out he was one of the highest paid Congressional members Senate members for receiving money from pharmaceutical companies. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. By the way, when you hear the no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that always means someone's not wanting to hear what's about to come. All right, we'll keep playing it then.
Starting point is 00:18:57 And by the way, I thought that that would come, no, no, no, no, no. I ran for president like you. I got millions and millions of contributions. They did not come from the executives, not one nickel of PAC money from the pharmaceutical industry. They came from workers. In 2020, you were the single largest because I had four contributions from workers all over this country.
Starting point is 00:19:24 By the way, listen to me, everyone. from unions, from workers all over this country. Workers. By the way, when, listen to me everyone, when somebody starts over talking somebody, when you get into a mic and you go, Adam had many affairs outside and I go, ah, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba, ba. That means I did. If I didn't, I want to know what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Yeah, you want to complete the statement so you can look like a fool. That they could look like a fool accusing him of something you did not do. Right, so if you said, Adam is responsible for starting the fire in Malibu, I would just sit and listen. And then I would go,
Starting point is 00:20:05 okay, well now I'm going to sue you for slander. But I wouldn't go, when you hear the... Oh, they do it a lot. You'll see it a lot when... It's a good tell. I like that. Oh, it's a real tell because if you didn't do it, you kind of want to know what they're going to say. But if you already know what they are going to say, which is what you did, then you talk over. He said that, he said, I wonder if this was going to come up. Yeah, I knew this would come up. I knew he'd bring this up.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Yes, run it back just 20 seconds and hear the Bernie over talk. He doesn't let him get his point out. In their interest. Oh, I thought that that would come now I ran for president like you I got millions and millions of contributions they did not come from the executives not one nickel of PAC money from the pharmaceutical they came
Starting point is 00:21:01 2028 in 2020 you were the single largest... Because I have four contributions from workers all over this country. Workers, it's not a nickel from corporate... ...with a single largest pharmaceutical dollars. From workers in... 1.5 million. Yeah, out of 200 million. All right, but oh You have not answered last you have not answered my question. Why do you talk over him the entire time?
Starting point is 00:21:34 He literally talked over him the entire exchange. Well, they always Know well when you did it. Yeah, you don't want to hear it. Yeah, mr You didn't answer yes or no. yes or no, yes or no. That's their usual strategy. I know. Answer yes or no. Who won the election? Yes or no?
Starting point is 00:21:51 Yeah, they do it all. Don't they realize that's part of what people are tired of? Yes. Oh, no. I mean, they don't understand. I mean, did you see the DNC thing the other day where they had a male and a female nominated, but not a non-binary? Did you see that clip anyway?
Starting point is 00:22:11 I, you know, I saw it coming down the road to me and I was like, I can't, I can't even. You can't? I couldn't watch it. No, it's just like, I'm so tired. I'm just tired. It's a great, it's a great clip, and maybe we'll save it for the next show,
Starting point is 00:22:29 but there's a great clip of the DNC spokesperson saying, you know, we've nominated a woman, we've nominated a man, but according to our bylaws, we need one non-binary person nominated, and we don't have that nomination so we need to go back and like revote and try to figure. Again, it's what nobody wants and it's yet what they can't seem to stop doing, which is weird. I find it strange that they can't course correct. It is something, isn't it? But is it true belief? You're a true believer, you're a true believer.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Well, that's when it starts crossing into a sort of sickness and a whatever. Yeah, it is. That they're still talking about wearing masks after it was completely disproven that they do any good or have any effect. That's when it gets into a sort of religious fervor. Well, true belief. All right, Daphne, do you have any more? And by the way, if we do this, we should definitely put it on a rundown somewhere,
Starting point is 00:23:36 so then we'll know what you got. Yes. But hang on, Daphne. She very kindly is prompting us with these headlines today. And what I like is when you make a mandate, I see her face is stricken. Oh, I like stricken. I like stricken. I got to get that. Why didn't I think of that? Stricken begets chain.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Yes. All right. We've got one more clip for you guys today. Caroline Kennedy, RFK's cousin, calls him a predator before the confirmation hearing. She's great. You put a bird in a blender. I'm so glad you put this one up. But now that Bobby has been nominated by President Trump to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, a position that would put him in charge
Starting point is 00:24:19 of the health of the American people, I feel an obligation to speak up. All right, hold on, pause. Overseeing the F. You're in charge of your own fucking health. Yes. He's not in charge of your. The health of the American people.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Nope, that'll be up to you. Yes. And also, whoever's talking about denying women access to healthcare, impossible, can't do it. Not a thing You're in charge of yourself. Yeah, he would like you To eat better and he would like to have McDonald french fries made in a healthier fashion But after that that'll be up to you. Yeah. Okay, but here we go I feel an obligation to speak out
Starting point is 00:25:09 Overseeing the FDA, the NIH, the CDC and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Can you stop again? Sorry, by the way he the Medicare Department that he will be above is Dr. Mehmet Oz who he will defer to his judgment I guarantee it and the NIH will be headed now by Jay Bhattacharya which is the most Shakespearean end to his saga who was subjected to devastating takedown by Francis Collins in an email had to be destroyed. He's the head of the NIH and he should be. He's a brilliant scientist, clinician. And Bobby will not be making those decisions.
Starting point is 00:25:49 What about Rochelle Walensky, who was worried about her son going to camp? You know, and then the last day she said no. She waited till last night. And she told him no. Yeah, she's a lying bitch. Fucking lying, just sitting up there and lying. I don't think she vaccinated her son.
Starting point is 00:26:07 I don't think she vaccinated her son either because she kept talking about opening camp. She never answered it. She never answered that. Anyway, good. And by the way, if the vaccine were so good, why couldn't he go to camp? Well all I'm saying is, who are we comparing these nominees to? You know what I mean? Like you have a guy and he's in charge of the border.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Who was in charge of the border? You know what I mean? Who was the head of this and the head of that? What about Admiral Levine? You'd rather have them back? I would rather have this gross incompetence back? Okay, sorry, we'll play it. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:26:45 And Medicaid services. Agencies that are charged with protecting the most vulnerable among us is an enormous responsibility and one that Bobby is unqualified to fill. He lacks any relevant government, financial management or medical experience. His views on vaccines are dangerous
Starting point is 00:27:05 and willfully misinformed. Willfully. Willfully. These facts alone should be disqualifying. But he has personal qualities related to this job, which for me pose even greater concern. Greater concerns. I've known Bobby my whole life.
Starting point is 00:27:22 We grew up together. It's no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because Bobby himself is a predator. I see He's always been charismatic Able to attract others through the strength of his personality his willingness to take risks and break the rules I watch his younger brothers and cousins follow him down the path of drug addiction His basement his garage his room were always the center of the action He led them where drugs were available and he enjoyed showing off how he put baby chickens and mice in a blender to feed to his Hawks it was often a perverse scene of despair and violence
Starting point is 00:28:09 Okay, I was breaking this down. He put mice and birds, baby chickens or something, in the blender to feed his hog. Yeah, probably a small hog, baby hog or something. When I left your house this morning, you had about 10 pounds of chicken piled up that was being cooked up. For our dog, yeah. Are you as bad as he is? Yeah, it's gruesome. was being cooked up for our dog. Yeah Are you as bad as he is? Yeah, it's it's green it for your dog. It's gruesome. There was a fair bit of despair in your kitchen I was hiding it from you if you put no, I'm sorry. I was displaying it. I was proud of it What would the hawk with the hawks live off of grains and berries if they were wild? Or what would the hawks eat, Drew?
Starting point is 00:28:47 What do hawks eat? What if you fed it alive or even a dead mouse and let it tear it apart? Is that better than the blender? Well, what do hawks eat? Animals. What would they eat in the wild? Rabbits and birds and other, I've seen them eat other birds. So what about them?
Starting point is 00:29:04 Who's protecting them? Who's protecting them? Right. Who's protecting a wild rabbit? Right. And putting them in the blender, I'm assuming you buy a dead mouse and you buy maybe chicken or frozen or something and you put it in the blender and then the hawk eats it.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yeah. But. And maybe it was baby hawks who need the blended, need it sort of pureed. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And so here's my... But wait, what is her hawk in the... What does the rabbit...
Starting point is 00:29:33 It bothered her when she slid. ...or the chicken in the blender, but what does that have to do with him? I know. Or what... Okay. What shall the hawk eat? Tofurkey? What is the hawk eat? What's the hawk eat when it'skey? What is the hawk eat?
Starting point is 00:29:45 What's the hawk eat when it's in the wild? It eats mice. And chickens and whatever, other birds. Rabbits. Is that objectionable to her or why is that better? Disturbing. What was the scene in that bedroom when he was making the gazpacho out of the mice and the baby
Starting point is 00:30:06 chicken? Was that, did she call it, what'd she call it? Disturbing? Disturbing, and it was the scene where he attracted everybody down to his basement to do drugs. Play the last 20 seconds. By the way, where was the predating part? There was no predator part, although she called him a predator. She said he's a predator because he feeds, he likes other predators. He likes predatory birds. Well, but that, oh my God. So. And by the way, when he was in his drug addiction,
Starting point is 00:30:35 I'm sure he did horrible shit because that's what drug addicts do. And for her to lay judgment on somebody in their disease is an offense to every other recovering person. Oh, you know else must be a predator, the crocodile hunter. This is a great segue into my next question. You can stop that. The crocodile hunter hunted with crocodiles or hung out with crocodiles. Those are predators.
Starting point is 00:30:57 Oh yeah, he must be a predator. Sure. And his kid too. Well, he got him formed as a... Oh yeah, got him formed that family. All right, last 20 seconds Thanks, just the blender part makes me laugh.
