Starting point is 00:01:38 medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to the Adam and Dr. Drew's show. Yeah, get it on. Got you got on. Dr. board 45, 57. Um,
Starting point is 00:01:53 you've broken a little pattern here. I've noticed. You've got kind of a nice, um, underarm or shirt or something on and a mirt. hat on. That's the shocking thing to me. Well, you know, somebody bought that hat. Well, you know the thing about, you know the thing about all patterns and the reason patterns are important and they have to be studied and the first of all, patterns save lives. Patterns save lives. That's why we do that. Yeah, you see some guy you've never seen in the neighborhood before and he's doing something different
Starting point is 00:02:26 than you've seen. You cross the street. And, may save your life. Or maybe that guy's at the airport looking suspicious, wanting to get on an airplane or something like that. Yes, it saves lives. But the pattern studiers are very interesting because I was walking out of my condo this morning with a hat that said dry bar on it. And my girlfriend stopped me. And she said, where are you going with that nasty hat? And I, I said, I'm going to work. And she said, let's get you a better hat. And then she went in and got Rick Caruso's Miramar hat that was given to us when he let us stay there.
Starting point is 00:03:09 And she said, why not give a plug to our buddy Rick Caruso and put this hat on? And then I put the hat on. And then I left. And then you noticed a pattern was interrupted. But in the case of all patterns, the reason you're noticing is because it wouldn't have been something I would have done. Not only exactly. And I thought to myself, somebody dressed him. Somebody did this.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Well, they put the hat on. Somebody put the hat on. Maybe even the underarmor, too. I don't know. Oh, no. This ain't, no. No, I've seen that before. So where?
Starting point is 00:03:44 All right. Then quiet. Hat pattern. Good. You caught it, Drew. Yeah. Now, where are you at? I'm in the French Caribbean.
Starting point is 00:03:52 Wow. You see the coconut palms behind me. Yeah. And crazy here with Kennedy. Kennedy's here with me. husband and their baby and uh cat timp and their child and there's just a bunch of us are here and so we we agreed to do this quite some time ago and uh it takes some work to get down here and by the way with the whole venezuelan thing we are kind of close here now the airspace has been closed a lot of the
Starting point is 00:04:16 time but we're able to make it down and took two days of travel to get here it was it was kind of intense not not something for the faint of heart but it's beautiful um beautiful it's beautiful and so you get a villa on the beach and everyone stays in one place? Exactly. Beautiful. Love that. And, you know, they got people serving food. And I get to practice my French, which is very exciting.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Oh, yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah, because that's all. I mean, not all, but that's the native tongue. I mean, that's who you're talking to all the people that work they're in, right? 100%. 100%. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:50 All right. So we were talking, and you were talking to Kennedy about Don Lemon. Yes. and sort of how it works with Don Lemon. And I want to, the much of the way I presented it with her was I always liked Don Lemon. I had a collegial relationship with him when he was working at CNN. He was always very nice to me and very accommodating. We spent a lot of time, I spent a lot of time talking to him on the air about personality disorders.
Starting point is 00:05:19 And does Trump have one? And what does it mean if a president has one? And by the way, many have had various kinds of personality or serious mental illness. even many of them. Lincoln was a depressive. Probably, you know, something may have had a substance problem. Alcohol, whatever. Who knows? But the point is you can't say somebody's a bad president
Starting point is 00:05:36 because of their personality construct. It's what's needed for the moment that, frankly, sometimes you want people with certain kinds of personality quirks in there. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah, like doesn't sleep and sort of always in a hurry. Exactly. You might find annoying as a spouse, but. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:05:54 You want them running your company for sure. Yeah, so Don Lemon's interesting. Now, there's an interesting thing that I at play with Don Lemon, I think. And I will play his clip first just because he just went. Well, don't leave the room if we're setting up Don because we got to play his clip first. And then, and then. It's impressive. It's really, it speaks volumes.
Starting point is 00:06:22 Yeah, I don't know if you heard this one or not. But it says, but here's the thing about it. there's a way to disagree and complain and stuff. And there's a way to do it in a funny way, an articulate way. And there's even an interesting way. You know, John Stewart might have an articulate, interesting, funny version of this. But here's Don Lemon's, Don Lemon is addressing ice. All right.
Starting point is 00:06:49 So we'll just listen. Attention, ICE. Let me just say something that most people are journalists will not. say they can't say it i understand that but uh i'm an independent journalist now so i can't say it fuck off ice fuck all the way off you are low life losers and you feel empowered by your dear leader donald trump you've never had this position of power before small person and all right pause it there treating people and you're going to have to ride the pause button andrew because that's how this is going to have to work.
Starting point is 00:07:27 I always tell that to Dawson, and then Dawson always turns away and they put the annotate over it and it doesn't let you do it. Well, we can figure. Anyway, the point is this. Okay. So it'd be like me going to the airport and getting into it with a TSA chick. Right. It was hassling on the bag.
Starting point is 00:07:48 And I go, you know, fuck you little person. And I'm sorry, you're doing secretary Duffy's bidding because that's who you love. You know, and it's like, it's just a person doing a job. This is a person doing a job. Right. And also, you know, like going, you're little man, a little person. First off, it's men and women. It seems to be plenty of women there too.
Starting point is 00:08:10 And it's people of all backgrounds and ethnicities. But also, what I want to say to people all the time is like, okay, so we have no ice or no border? Or like, you know, when you're going from San Diego to Tijuana, should there be no booth there with somebody in it or should it just be an open piece of highway? Like, why is there a border there? Shouldn't we just freely cross back and forth? And then where is Mexico? I mean, if there is no border.
Starting point is 00:08:42 Listen, to get in here across his border was a shit show. Took quite a bit to get into France. Actually, I've started in Netherlands. and it is not a simple matter getting through immigration in European countries. Oh, Canada is the worst. The worst. The worst. It's weird.
Starting point is 00:09:03 These people all love Canada, right? But if I said, do you think, would it be, if I just moved to Canada and essentially never got a Canadian ID and didn't register with anyone, I just snuck into Canada. and I just started selling meat on the street and sending the money back to the Glendale area. Would you say it's within their rights to ask me to leave or to deport me back to Los Angeles? Like, isn't that, would you,
Starting point is 00:09:36 and they would all agree with that? They'd go, what are you doing in Canada? You can't just go over there. Getting a work permit in Canada? I did that once. I'd film something up there. Holy crap, they shake you down. I mean, you come in for that work permit.
Starting point is 00:09:49 It took forever. Canada's the worst. So your beloved Canada has all sorts of rules about this stuff. And they're stoutly enforced. All right. Well, Andrew, if you can go back, let's just go back to start and I'll shut up, but it's pretty good. But also you hear from Don Lemon. Here's what you hear. Supreme Narcissists, but you also hear 10 cent head. And I bring this up all the time. And I don't think people really know what I'm talking about. But it's like you can disagree with Tom Cotton. and you can disagree with Jady Vance and you can disagree with Vivek Ramoswamy, but they're not 10-cent heads.
Starting point is 00:10:27 You know what I mean? Yeah. And he sounds like a 10-cent head and Maxine Waters and Kamala Harris. These are 10-cent heads along with shit you disagree with, but 10-cent heads. Here we go. Attention ice. Let me just say something that most people, most journalists will not say. They can't say it.
Starting point is 00:10:48 I understand that. I'm an independent He's an independent journal Fuck all the way off You are low life Losers and you feel empowered by your dear leader Donald Trump You have never had this position of power
Starting point is 00:11:05 Before small person And you are treating people in an inhumane way And you don't even understand why Because you're too dumb to figure it out You are the poorly educated that Donald Trump loves. That's who you are.
Starting point is 00:11:22 And you're out there doing his bidding, doing things that are illegal, doing things that are unconstitutional, doing things that are inhumane, like killing someone. Because you're pissed off, because this person may be notifying people that you're in the area
Starting point is 00:11:38 trying to round people up. That is that person's First Amendment right to do. You can do that as an American, but maybe not in Donald Trump's America. you are fat fuck losers who just crawled out of a trailer park from some proud boy meeting or if not worse some other group that could be worse than him you are thugs fat losers by the guy who shot the chick was skinnier and she was but you live in a trailer park I don't know what percentage of ICE officers live in a trailer park. I'm going under, I'll go beneath, I'll go single digits.
Starting point is 00:12:21 I'll go, I'll go less than 10%. Yeah. As far as fat, fuck, they all look to be like sort of 23-year-olds and fairly fit. Yeah. But anyway. But the elitism, that's the part that gets me. That's the part that's just on display. It's super elitism, but it's also he's dumb.
Starting point is 00:12:44 He's dumb. I mean, like, look, here's what I'm saying. If you said to me, you know, Adam, what didn't you like about your divorce attorney? And I went, because she's dumb. She's fat. Her shoes are weird. You know what I mean? Like, I'm not really making a point.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Or anybody or anything. You know, you're not really making a point by saying somebody lives in a trailer park or they're fat or they're dumb or they can fuck off. They can fuck right off, you know, little person. It's a little bit. And you're not really making the point about whoever. You know, if you ask me what it is I don't like about Gavin Newsom, I won't go because he can fuck all the way off because he's fucking from.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Dodo land because he lives in a fucking trailer with this fucked up shoes. You know what I mean? That's not really, I could do two hours on why I hate Gavin Newsome, but it would there would be something for you to hang your hat on. Right. Right. Well, maybe he's diabolical and has found a way to stay in the conversation because you said a couple of years ago we would not see him again and he should keep showing up with this stuff.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Right. You could say that about people and then they could plan a school. shooting or something and then we would know who they are. But him just being a disruptive prick is really, yes, we are talking about him. That is true, but it's only because he's doing stunt work, not because he's doing journalism, right? No, that's right. And he also, first things first, I love the fact that these guys worked for news outlets as journalists pretending to be, you know, fair and unbiased in the reporting of, you know, Donald Trump or who, whoever. They're crazed. They have
Starting point is 00:14:41 they have Trump derangement syndrome. There's no possible way that guy could be anywhere near a newsroom or a newspaper or an online website that reported to do news and in any way be believable for any of their things. And by the way, why is it? I mean, here's here's a question for you.
Starting point is 00:15:07 These guys who, you know, in a weird way, there's a sort of a show business version of it. They go, well, you know, this comedian was super hot in the 80s. And then I never heard from him again. I never, because he didn't have any talent. He didn't have enough talent. That doesn't happen. That doesn't happen to Bill Maher, Jimmy Kimmel, or John Stewart.
Starting point is 00:15:30 They go on. They just keep doing stuff. And then there's the other people whose names you heard of, but you forgot. But they didn't have any talent. You know what I'm saying? And I always say it's funny. Antonio Villarosa, the guy ran L.A. He was the mayor of L.A. for eight years.
Starting point is 00:15:45 And then he's out. You never heard from me. He does some spokes stuff for herbal life or something. Like these guys run major cities. And then they're gone. What's her name from Chicago? They're all Lori Life. Because they're 10 cent heads, because there wasn't anything.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Karen Bass, when she's gone from L.A., is not going to start a big important company. or Space Launch or SpaceX or she's just gone because they never should have been there in the first place. They're the fucking dumb. How is it all the people that were, you know, at CNN or whatever journalist? As soon as they go off on their own, they all start into these fucking extreme left-wing whatevers.
Starting point is 00:16:25 Isn't that just who they were the whole time? I mean, they left in their 50s. It's not like they were in college. No, no, they were holding back. People wondered where those point of views come from. They were holding back at the networks. Right. They were holding back.
Starting point is 00:16:39 So the people that were accusing them of being biased were correct the whole time as basically what I'm saying. So Don Lemon, Don Lemon's an interesting case study because there is a part of intelligence that can be picked up through an aesthetic. And, oh, tell me more. Wait, should we take a break? Yeah, we'll take a break. I'll tell you this a thousand times. We'll take a break. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:17:11 All right. Home serve. Thanks to HomeServe for sponsoring this episode. Repairs don't care about your timing and definitely not your budget. Your home is a huge investment. And when things go wrong, costs can hit hard and hit fast. That's where HomeServe comes in. Regular homeowners insurance usually doesn't cover the basics like plumbing failures,
Starting point is 00:17:37 HVAC breakdown. and electrical issues. But with homeserve, for as little as $4.99 a month, they got your back. I use homeserve, and you should too. It's homeserve. Right, Daphne? Help protect your home systems and your wallet with homeserv against covered repairs. Plans start at just $499 a month.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Go to homeserve.com to find the plan that's right for you. That's homeserv.com. Not available everywhere. Most plans range between $499 to $11.99 a month, your first year. Terms apply uncovered repairs. Pluto TV has thousands of free movies and TV shows. What? This is the mindset.
Starting point is 00:18:15 Free. This is the mantra. Free. This is the movies like Joe Dirt, pixels, and 51st dates. This is awesome. And TV shows like Survivor, Spongebob SquarePants, the Fairly Odd Parents and Ghosts. Pluto TV is always free. Hazzar.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Pluto TV, stream now, pay never. You're welcome. All right. I told you a thousand times George Clooney looks like he would be a good airline pilot. Right. If you showed eight-year-old's pictures of airline pilots and Will Sassau doesn't look like a good airline pilot to eight-year-olds. But who I don't know which one of them went through flight school. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:04 But women, women especially, women especially. and lots of dudes sort of do of it. Don Lemon looks like he knows what he's talking about. He has an aesthetic and being black actually sort of helps. He wears the right sort of frames. He has the right glasses. He has the right sort of haircut. Like he chooses some of the right words and he looks like he knows something.
Starting point is 00:19:34 And then he starts talking and he really doesn't say anything. What he's saying is I don't like ice, but I, fuck right off and fuck all the way off and your little people who are fat. Now you get to do the bidding of the ice is always ice. Tom Holman worked for Barack Obama and rounded up tons of people. Tom Holman did. What was he doing different then than he's doing now? He's doing the same fucking thing now, you fucking retard as he did under your head. hero Barack Obama, who gave him like a medal for doing what he did. So he's not, he's not, he's not
Starting point is 00:20:17 injected with power all of a sudden. They're border patrol. They, they, they're ice. The immigration customs enforcement. That's what they do. That's what they did after, they'll do it after Trump's gone and they'll do it. That did it before Trump showed up. They did it for Obama. And they will continue to do it. And it's a, it's a pretty simple, job, you know, in terms of they're not doing detective work necessarily. They're, they're obviously, you know, tracking people down and whatnot, but their job is to bring them in and give them over to the, you know, the courts and let the, let the process take hold. But it's not, it's not a big mystery what they're doing. It's not something that's never been done before. This is why I'm,
Starting point is 00:21:00 kind of confused by the whole thing, frankly. I'm also confused, you know, Lemon got itself in a lot of trouble with this, was the face act, Andrew? Is that what we called it? It was the FACE Act, but he can also get in trouble under the Enforcement Act of 18-Corp. So the Enforcement Act was something that was put in place in the 19th century against the Ku Klux Klan, so they couldn't come in and run amok on religious practices. And then this second thing in the 90s from Chuck Schumer pushed through this law to protect people that are seeking reproductive lights. In order to get that through, they added to the law.
Starting point is 00:21:39 that you can't disrupt people in their place of practice and disrupt their practice of their religion, which is exactly what happened this week. Didn't Don have something to say about that too? Adam, I don't remember him saying, oh, he was interviewing the clergy is what it was. He was interviewing the clergy in the church. I was like, we're trying to practice religion here.
Starting point is 00:22:00 What are you talking about? Did you see that interview? Yeah, I did. I did. I want to see Don again. Not just the first 45 seconds. So he, A, makes an ass of himself, but he looks like a pretentious, elitist, you know, whatever. And it's like, Don, people, most these guys were in the service. They probably went out of high school and in service.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Not everyone gets to go to college. Not everyone comes from that environment. Not everyone has money for that. And by the way, plumbers don't go to college. And electricians don't go to college. And the guy who's doing your landscaping right now and your father. million home, didn't go to college. Like, we're really going to punch down on folks that work for fucking living,
Starting point is 00:22:46 especially the ones that put their lives on the line? Here we go. Attention, ICE. Let me just say something that most people, most journalists will not say. They can't say it. I understand that. But I'm an independent journalist now, so I can't say it. Fuck off, ICE.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Fuck all the way off. You are low-life losers. And you feel empowered by your dear leader. leader Donald Trump. You have never had this position of power before, small person. And you are treating people in an inhumane way and you don't even understand why because you're too dumb to figure it out. You are the poorly educated that Donald Trump loves.
Starting point is 00:23:28 That's who you are. And you're out there doing his bidding, doing things that are illegal, doing things that are unconstitutional, doing things that are inhumane, like killing someone. because you're pissed off. All right. That's fine. This person may be notifying. Also, there's a thing where, look, you can call shooting Heather Good or whatever
Starting point is 00:23:50 name was. You can call it whatever you want, but there's a context for it. Just out shooting people, you know. You can get rid of Don. Yeah, Don's an idiot. And part of being, part of this narcissistic disease combined with dumb, you, are a dog in front of the queen licking his balls. You have no fucking idea.
Starting point is 00:24:15 You have no idea. AOC has that. AOC has, AOC is basically the female equivalent to Don Lemon, dumb, narcissistic, attractive, and does not know how fucking dumb they sound when they talk because of the narcissistic disorder and because they're not intelligent. Like, by the way, I'm saying, if I film. myself doing a thing where I was like, fuck all the way off, Gavin Newsom. You're a little man who hates people and gets off on hurting people because you're little
Starting point is 00:24:50 and you can fuck off. I would look at it and go, I'm going to do another take. Like, I don't feel like I really fully articulated or expressed my concerns. A position. There's no position. I don't know his position is. Right. Fuck off.
Starting point is 00:25:03 But now I looked up the average U.S. immigration and customs enforcement an agent salary in this country. And it's average around $65,000 a year, but goes up to $170. Yeah. So these are not, these are well-paying jobs. Yeah. Listen, I, okay. So, Don, what is the dream?
Starting point is 00:25:26 Everyone goes to college. All the retards with the orange hair that are trying to stop vans with their, with their boobs, went to college. All the ones that are for, you know, gaze for Palestine, they learned that at college. You understand? They learned all about Greta Thunberg at college and all your Feckechta nonsense and defund the police.
Starting point is 00:25:51 And every bad idea that's ever come down the pike, they all learned at college. So that's where everyone should go so they get their fucking brain scrambled and come up with retarded ideas like you. Like, let's defund ICE. Let's defund the police. And let's shut down Chevron.
Starting point is 00:26:08 and have everything run off of good vibes and pixie farts. Yeah. That's what you learn at college, and you learn that Palestine is the hero of the Middle East. That's what you learn at college. So sorry. Go for the Gad Sad who talks about these bad ideas that come up in university environments because it's zero gravity.
Starting point is 00:26:28 That's the true zero gravity environment, so they can just come up with bad ideas. Right. They have no consequence, no pushback, no assessment from gravity. Tom Homan received the two. 2015 presidential rank award for distinguished service from Obama. Now, if Don Lemon understands who Obama is, and I'm sure he worships at the altar of Obama, he'd have to.
Starting point is 00:26:53 He's black because everything, the only thing could make Obama better is if he was gay, and I guess the jury's out. But the point is, also Don Lemon has to bring up being black and being gay every 15 seconds, which is another sort of bullshit cop out, you know, don't you know who I am, can't do it with my own sort of intellectual curiosity and pride. I'll just keep bringing up being gay and black all the time and sort of use it as a crutch, which probably makes him weaker. I don't think these people, you have to kind of understand all the people that bring up as a black woman or as a gay man or as a gay black man, they all have weakened brains because they use that constantly.
Starting point is 00:27:36 As though that were an argument. Yeah. So what I'm saying is, let's just say you're a fighter and you're training for a fight, right? Mm-hmm. And you had to go into the octagon. I'm going to preemptively sniff on this one because this is powerful. Oh, I'm ready. I love it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Very self-satisfying. All right. So here's the example. You ready? Yeah. These guys fall back and all the women do it too. They fall AOC, you know, as a woman, as a lit, a Latino woman is a gay man, as a black gay man, as a gay Latino woman, they never really
Starting point is 00:28:14 get their skills honed because they always play that card. And so they're not going to be that sharp. They can't just go up against Ben Shapiro because they play the gay man, the black man, whatever card. So what if I just said this? Two guys training for a fight, right? Yeah. one guy when he trains and he spars every time the guy gets him down and starts wrapping him up and starts using his jiu-jitsu on him and starts to give him to tap out tap out he says my dad owns this gym stop and the guy lets loose okay yeah or every time the guy really starts beating him up with his hands when the sparring session or kicks or whatever he goes my dad owns the gym and then the guy backs down
Starting point is 00:29:05 right, he backs off, he gets some space, right? Well, how good would that guy be when he got into the octagon for the real fight? He wouldn't be trained. Yeah, he wouldn't be trained. And all the people that do the, I'm black or I'm woman, I'm gay or whatever, they're all weak when it comes to real debating because they keep tapping out because they play that card. So they have not honed their skills. So in other words, bringing that card in stops the debate.
Starting point is 00:29:35 It stops their fight, so to speak. It stops their development. Yeah. Yes. It gives you an out, which means you don't have to use your skills to get out. You play this card and thus your skills diminish or they never, you never find out what they could be. Like, okay, so who, you know, the best, who's the best? the best are all the people that are just white males or Megan Kelly or someone like that,
Starting point is 00:30:08 they can't fall back on my dad owns the dojo. I'm a gay man. I'm a black man. All the ones who play the black card, their arguments are usually shit because they play those. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think there's something to that. I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:30:26 But then again, I'm thinking about how we all respond to it, at least historically have responded to it. it almost suggests that we have we must stop doing that and stay with the arguments. Well, they're not going to win any arguments anymore than they're going to be great fire chiefs of L.A. or mayors or L.A. or police chiefs of Chicago. If we're just there because you're black and you're gay, then it's not going to be a good, you're not going to be good at your job.
