The Adam and Dr. Drew Show - #2072 - Has Rebuilding Finally Begun in Malibu? Pt. 1

Episode Date: February 4, 2026

Adam and Dr. Drew open by unpacking global chaos and exhaustion, debating gynofascism's link to misplaced empathy, and discussing what parents prioritize when choosing schools for their kids.... They tackle immigration semantics ("illegal alien" vs. "undocumented citizens"), dive into the latest Epstein files, and reminisce about the 1970s going off the rails–reacting to the classic Foxes trailer while Adam declares America's best era to be alive.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Board Certified Physician and Addiction Medicine Specialist, Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to The Adam and Dr. Drew Show. Yeah, get it on. Got to get it on.
Starting point is 00:01:41 The judge, blah, blah, blah, blah, woo, Doctor's Board first, is a medicine specialist, everybody. What's going on there, Drusky? Oh, there's so much. I don't know how to feel about the world. I know you are firmly the belief that we will be separating into safe, spaces and octagons one day soon. Well, I mean, we have begun.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Yeah. Yeah. We've begun the process of separate. I just don't know if I can, I see so much BS going on everywhere. I guess what got me. You know what got me? I listened to French radio and politics every morning. And this one woman named Mariamarachal, who was this EU representative, it was very
Starting point is 00:02:24 reasonable. The courts came in and said, hey, you called the Muslim Brotherhood and Islam. organization, you're guilty of a crime, you're no longer crime for office. Right. What? And that's the kind of shit that I think, oh, yeah, that's where they are and that's where we're headed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:44 Well, okay. So I don't know if I can tolerate even a safe space in Florida, that's what I'm saying. You don't think you could tolerate a safe space in Florida? I'm not sure I'll feel safe in Florida. Why not? Because I thought the EU representatives in France were safe. if I thought, you know, I thought people just going about their business could just go about their business, particularly reasonable people. But no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:03:07 You'll be able to do it in Florida. You don't worry about judges getting involved or federal government being involved. I mean, look, it's, okay, it used to be there were different ideas. There was this side's idea and that side's idea about how to do things. The left is now just fighting Trump. So there is no more ideas. There's just whatever Trump wants to do. He's going to fight it, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:40 There's that. So they're just, and they're going on record now as, you know, fighting ice and federal this and no, you know, all land is indigenous land and whatever. They're on some sort of trajectory. for destruction. I mean, I just watched a video this morning. It's like, Fisherman's Wharf, shut down. There's no more businesses in Fisher's Wharf. Okay. Fisherman's Wharf was a destination for tourists around the world. Iconic. Iconic and some of the most, you know, beautiful scenery and topography in the
Starting point is 00:04:20 world. And it's shut down because of just horrible leftist ideas. I mean, it's not, you know, Well, is that the point where it's like Gavin Newsom is out there and he's talking about good vibes all the time and, you know, caring about everybody. And I just wrote, his policies are killing people. Mom Dami literally killed 16 last week in the cold. Well, not literally, but yes. No, no, no, no. He refused to let the cops do what they always do. All right.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Well, then he did. He did. That's negligent manslaughter. The good vibes folks are getting people killed at this point. Let me just say, New York City always had an advantage because of the cold. So when it got cold, their homeless would go to the facilities. Some of them would get treatment. They would get better.
Starting point is 00:05:07 It just was a way of doing things that enhanced the management of the homeless population. But no, no, no. Mamdama, you can't. Don't go near those people. They laid up. Their brain isn't working right. They laid in the cold and they died. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:20 Well, the brain is, they're high and they died. Yes. Okay. So now you guys, your policy is getting people killed. Newsom's policies. The left's getting people killed. But if the, you know, there's a way, I don't know why, but I was thinking about it like in terms of my ex-wife and divorce and that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:40 And basically, my plan was always, let's just do whatever makes sense before we got divorced and just keep everything together and just roll along. But let's do it. Let's do whatever makes sense. Right. that food, let's get good food for the kids, let's be healthy, let's, you know. How dare you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:57 If they should get vaccinated, we should get them vaccinated, but they shouldn't get vaccinated, we shouldn't get them vaccinated with COVID, and just a whole bunch of sort of pragmatic shit. That's no fun, but it's a decent life. And then she decided to get divorced. So then I said, okay, but let's not destroy everything and give all the money to the lawyers and whatever it is. But that's what we did.
Starting point is 00:06:21 So then you got to go, well, what did she want? And I guess this, but why? And I don't know. But then the question is, what does the L.A. City Council want? You know, what does Gavin Newsom want? Like, what these people? What's Memdami want? They never say destruction, but at the end of the day, you've given the lawyers all the money,
Starting point is 00:06:42 and you fucked everything up, and here we are. So I don't know exactly what they would say they want. and I don't know what my ex-wife would say she wanted, but she got this thing that she created, she forced, and if she didn't want it, she did a hell of a job of getting it and worked at it for years to arrive at this place that nobody wanted to arrive at, right? I heard a political philosopher frame things, and I think you'll like this. I was anxious to get this to you. And he said, he goes, you know, we've hit a time in political sort of life.
Starting point is 00:07:20 where people are not interested in governing, they're interested in representing. Right. I want to place the table. I want to represent a piece of the table. I'm going to Africa as the mayor of Los Angeles and show up in the other. I'm representing. Women fuck this thing. Anything but governing.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I know. I know. This is Chickink, though, and it's coming home to roost. And we want to be. You let too many women in a position of power and they fucked everything up. If you want to just shorthand version of it. Now, it's always the qualification. I have black friends.
Starting point is 00:07:54 You know, it's always that fucking thing. Not all of them are fuck-ups. They think differently than we do. And it's not good for running a city, a nation, the state, or anything. It's this toxic compassion, toxic empathy. Yes, toxic empathy. When you work in a psychiatric hospital, you have deep compassion people and you show force. Yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:08:14 You contain. It's all that. It's all of it. It doesn't work. Look, you want to. to defund the police and nobody owns any land and everything's for everything and everyone coming here gets world. Imagine those new people.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Gets world class health care and blah, blah, blah. And then it's all shit. It's just all shit. It doesn't work. Whatever this. Yes, it's toxic. It's gyno-fascism, which leads to toxic empathy. Empathy.
Starting point is 00:08:42 And then we're fucked. Yeah. Okay. So now here we are. Now, the more, I mean, if you were to give, a rating, and I've talked about this a million years ago, you've got to give like each state a chick think rating. California is heavily chicked think.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Is that in your book? 50 years will I'll be chicked? No, but you have to give it a, you know, sort of number because so here's the thing. You have to write new books. Okay, so now we're chicks. That's true. I am going to write a new book. So, all right, so you look at it this way.
Starting point is 00:09:16 you go every every nation okay let me give you an example once you get to saturation chick think state the state is doomed and fucked and you have to move out of the state now I don't you know
Starting point is 00:09:35 California's got to be real high up there but you know Chicago sorry Illinois and New York New York is pretty high up there and, you know, New Hampshire or something. I guess there's probably some Vermont. Vermont's pretty high Chick-Think state.
Starting point is 00:09:53 But there's not enough people, and it's so spread out enough that's not going to be destroyed. But when it gets condensed, you need policies and Chick-Think policies. You need governing. That's clean needle exchanges and dignity for the junkies. They're not plowing the streets. They're not taking out the tracks.
Starting point is 00:10:10 We're already there in New York. We're there. So if you go, let me give you an example. And it's a, it's chick think saturation. Okay, you ready? Yeah. Here's some xenophobic news that people don't want to hear, but I'll explain how it works here in Southern California. You could get arrested.
Starting point is 00:10:30 All right. Marianne Marischoff. Right. So listen. When you are picking out a school district, when you say in Southern California, when you go, and I don't even know if you know this, because your kids went to a little Lord Pontleroy School. for albino hemophiliacs? Although I don't know if they would go there now, but yes, they did. And so did I.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Right. That's part of the problem. Yeah. Okay, so public schools, here's how it works. I'll look at Chuck and Andrew over there. When you guys are attempting to raise your kids here in Southern California, and you think I would like to move to a school district that would be a good school district for my kids to go to school, public school, because there are plenty of public schools that are
Starting point is 00:11:21 good school districts that you can go to. And then there's other ones where no one reads at grade level and someone's going to get stabbed, right? Do you look at test scores? Do you look at like walkability for the community? Do you look at, you know, what percentage or college bound from that graduating class day before? You don't look at any of it. You know what you look for? Hispanic population. If it's more Hispanic, the school sucks. If it's 80% Hispanic, you can't send your kids to that school. How about if you look for, on a positive note, look for Asian?
Starting point is 00:11:58 Well, that would help. But it's really, the Asians ain't going to help and they're going to hurt. Okay. But if it's heavily Hispanic, you can't send your kid to the school. School's not functional. Okay. If it's almost zero Hispanic, it's going to be a great school. Okay, so what are we looking at?
Starting point is 00:12:14 I'm xenophobic, but that's every fucking parent who, every progressive who's in Santa Monica and thinking about moving somewhere would look at the school system that was, you know, 72% Hispanic, not usable. What do you think that is? They don't put emphasis on education. And the kids are, there's too many kids. I've actually heard. Whatever. There's poverty. All the things.
Starting point is 00:12:39 And by the way, it would be black, except we just don't have enough blacks, like in the valley and stuff. like that. So you go, no, that schools, and I don't know what the Mason-Dixon line. Zero Hispanic means best school. Free, you get to go to free public school. 50% means, I don't know, lump it or something. 75% whatever, unusable school. That's how you. So you go off of that, right? So then you go, okay, what states function? Well, 75% chick think. Then it could have not usable. not a usable city. So, hang on. So L.A. is 75% chick think, not a good, not a well-run city.
Starting point is 00:13:21 What is the first one? For Wyoming, maybe 4% chick think or something. You know, there are other places in Florida, Dade County, whatever. Texas, where you go, oh, this 86% dude think and 14% chick-dank. Okay, that's a usable city. So heavily Hispanic, schools unusable, heavily chik-dank, city unusable. So you have, now, by the way, it's not all about the cock and balls. We have Mayor Bass, who's a dumb cow female, who's ruining Los Angeles.
Starting point is 00:13:55 And then New York has Mamdami, who's a dude who thinks he's a chick, who has chick dick. So he's going to ruin that city. But I don't know, I don't know, with Mamdami now and Eric Adams out, maybe New York beats L.A., but L.A. is all city council and a female mayor, and we're pretty heavily in the chick thing, too. And what you get is lots of graffiti, garbage piling up, bad systems, crime, and just junk. And, you know, you get whatever, whatever, you get nothing, essentially. You get stuff you don't want with an emphasis on some sort of gay pride, indigenous parade celebrating, you know, they make lots of announcements about celebrating the pride months.
Starting point is 00:14:43 There's no discussion about building permits. We don't have building permit discussions. We have gay pride discussions, but no building permit. By the way, that's chick thing. No governance. And no governance. Well, no governance, but they're presiding over the gay pride. Representing.
Starting point is 00:15:01 They're representing. Right. They're representing. Governance is about permits. Which you have predicted we would not have one year after the fires. Here we are. How many permits? Well, is somebody, all right, so let me be.
Starting point is 00:15:13 can I you're allowed to talk in between my sips thank you I was can I be honest with you I like when I sip and Drew just goes okay I thought it was a like a dramatic pause you know I think you were like sniffing I okay full transparency yeah full yeah trans transparency see I have not been to Aldadena but once drove through it saw burnt out 10 months ago. I have no idea what they're doing over there. I know it's a lot better than the Palisades. I'm sure. Palisades is being rebuilt very slowly and but I would not say there is no building. There's some building. It's almost no building, but there's some building. Altonina is not LA, LA City. Oh, okay. Well, that's why they can do it. And we have LA County reps that are
Starting point is 00:16:11 reasonable people. on board of supervisors. I'm being told by Andrew that he was an Altadino over Christmas time. And he says not a lot of building, but something else. But anyway, there's a lot of concern about the soil up there. Lead, lead, lead, lead. Chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, chick, what about, what about, what about, what about? What about?
Starting point is 00:16:40 That answer's always no. But we never get anything built because it's always what about. Now, they're good at taking off the no-you-turn and the cruise and gay signs and they're good at tearing down tree houses that taxpayers have. But they're not good at building stuff. Right. They can take stuff. And Malibu is at a plum zero. Malibu is 100% zero.
Starting point is 00:17:08 That's the Coastal Commission making sure of that probably. And it goes up the hill. Doesn't the Coastal Commission govern which goes like a mile back? Yes. So the Coastal Commission will cover the coast, I mean the actual physical coast, the sand, and then probably trickle up the hill a mile inland or something. I'm sure they have some jurisdiction, maybe it's two miles or whatever. And actually I went this morning and filmed.
Starting point is 00:17:40 There's one. And I haven't got to the bottom of it because... The one with all the casons? Yes, because the only people, I mean, mostly the only people on the site are Hispanics in backhose and guys pump and cement, bend and rebar. It's never the owner. And it's not even... I mean, the foreman is just laying out foundation stuff. seawalls. There's nobody who could tell me how they got that
Starting point is 00:18:15 permit. Right. Because the guys there are not involved with that process. That's engineer and plan check and blah, blah. You can see PCH. I filmed it this morning. This guy's think I'm insane person. They got a new, they got a barrier going up against PCH. That's crazy. Oh, well, it just keeps going around and then a giant seawall that goes around the place, mixed with these. This looks like something that the Roman emperor built. Well, Roman Emperor didn't go five stories deep into the ground with casons.
Starting point is 00:18:50 I can promise you that. Those caissons go down five stories, all of them. And there's 30-something of them. And they just keep going. So, no, there's not going to be a lot of building. Now, if you go up, I can show you another shot or two. This is, again, me just standing in the sand, and these guys think of them. I have no idea what I'm doing.
Starting point is 00:19:15 That's a lot of revoir. Oh, my God. It just keeps going and go. I mean, they're not even, they got to pour the bond beams and the floors. It's going to, it's incredible what they're doing. But there's one, so we toured a house up on the. That's not an American. It's a Saudi or Qatar or Chinese.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Australia. No. So there's houses up on the hill that I have toured. And it's in our fire vlog. And as I said, it's a 5,000 square foot home, two story. And I, it's funny. I said to the guy, just look, he's on a big slab. I said, how long it take, tell me the foundation.
Starting point is 00:20:01 I said, oh, it took like three days. I said, how much? And I said, 50 grand? I said, 50 grand. So, and that house is done. So they poured the slab, they frame the fucking house. It doesn't take any time to really frame a house with like a framing crew. Like it's fast.
Starting point is 00:20:20 Like raising a barn or something. It's like, right, there we go. Yeah. I mean, it's just for a non-building person like me, just thinking about people putting up walls fast. Yeah. Yeah, it just, it's a process that goes, it goes pretty fast. It goes pretty fast. And we filmed this thing.
Starting point is 00:20:40 That was two and a half months ago. And I said the guy, like, when are you going to be done? He said, like, two months. And it was done. It's probably done about now. Like, it went fast. The whole point is, is the, you can pause it, Andrew. It's a big house.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Yeah, well, it's $5,000. Is this one had permits before the fire? I can't remember. Mm-hmm. Yes. Yeah, had permits before the fire. Yeah, it was ready to get built. The point is that the, the,
Starting point is 00:21:07 the foundation that these guys are having to do down on the coast is so elaborate, so expensive, and so involved. That looks like millions of dollars. It is millions of dollars. And it's going to take tons and tons of time. So the houses up on the hill and the palisades will be rebuilt while they're still doing the foundation. But the point I take away from what you're describing, though, is that if you could get the effing permits, you could put the house up in three months.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Well, let me explain something that's a little bit deeper, yes. If you could get the permits, you could put the house up in three months. But here's the problem. They have to come examine it all the way long. No, the permit. You have to go through engineering and then you have to go through plan check. Yeah. And there is nobody who's going to let you build on that beach.
Starting point is 00:22:06 without a sea wall going two stories into the ground, and then another one, and then another sea wall go in a retaining wall, going against PCH, and 35 pilasters or casons going five. They're not going to let you do anything that. So you can get all the permits you want. Good luck with the amount that you have to do.
Starting point is 00:22:30 The Coastal Commission is not going to let you do it. It's a coastal commission, the city, the state, like, whatever. What they're not going to let you do is something that would be reasonable and efficient and quick. They're not going to let you do that. They're going to have you do something that is way over-engineered. This house is way over-engineered. What's the reason? The reason is...
Starting point is 00:23:00 Because they want reclamation. They want the water to take the houses back. That's their policy. No, no. I mean, that's Coastal Commission. But, okay, here's how everything works. Everything works where they go, okay, there are houses that are along that beach that were built, let's say, in the 90s, let's say. And I've walked up and down, nobody's walked up and down that beach more than me, and I look at all the different foundations.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Now, as I previously discussed, some are just telephone polls pounded into the ground. ground and that that was good for 80 years and then the fire took the house so as far as I know telephone poles pounded in the ground were sufficient pretty good well good enough that the house is fine except for the fire took it but anyway there are some houses that let's say may have been built in 98 or 2004 or something like that and what you see is a k-son and they are 18 inches a wide and there's set up every 20 foot on center or 16 foot on center, and they're 18 inches wide or something like that, right? Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:18 So, and then there's number four rebar in a half inch rebar. Okay. So then what happens is, is the people in engineering or planning commission or coastal or whatever, permit, whatever they go, what's the current situation? what's our policy with the case on? And I go, well, that's 18 inches around. That's 16 inches, 16 foot spread out on center.
Starting point is 00:24:45 On center just means the center of the center. And we got number four rebar. Okay. And how deep do they go? They go 20 feet. All right. I got an idea. Let's make them 24 round.
Starting point is 00:25:01 Okay. And what do we say? 20 feet deep? Let's go 35 deep. We'll make them 24. Instead of number four rebar, we'll do number six. We'll do a three-quarter rebar. And instead of 16 on center, we'll do them 12 foot on center.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Is that good? And then everyone goes, well, it's going to be safer. And they go, okay. Then we go. Okay, so write that into law. Okay, but we're still, now we're just in 2007. Then you get to 2019. And they go, remember we're talking about that's case.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I said 24? I want to make them 32. Oh, even better. Even Sabre instead of 10 foot on certain, make them 8 foot on certain. And it just fucking goes. It never stops. It just goes. And it never fucking stops.
Starting point is 00:25:48 And no one ever repeals it. And no one ever raises their hand and goes, hey, the houses with the 18 inch wide ones that were 20 deep and the number four rebar that were 16 foot on center. Was there a problem? Was there a situation that I'm away? No. They just keep adding on. Then they complain about affordability. It's impossible.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Then they complain about affordability. Yes. But here's the deal. It's a great metaphor. It's kind of chick-esque in the sense that safety Uber Alis is underlying it. But it's a great metaphor for how government just creeps like that. But it just keep creeping. But it's not all government, right?
Starting point is 00:26:30 Texas doesn't do that. Florida doesn't do that. Well, Trump is saying for every regulation we pass, I want 10 repealed. Yeah. But what would it mean, what somebody has to say to California is, I'm sorry, there's too much. And they go, okay, well, maybe we'll take a break for a minute. It's like, no, no, peel it back. She needs it.
Starting point is 00:26:50 She wants more. She needs that way. We need more. And all the Yentas and the city council, all they're doing is sitting around ways trying to think of more shit. But put the beavers on top of the Empire State Building, What are they going to do, Drew? Build a dam.
Starting point is 00:27:04 That's right. Why? They're beavers. Yantas who run for city council don't run there to repeal shit. They run there to add shit. You get it? And that's why they just keep adding. And if you dare to cross them?
Starting point is 00:27:23 You'll be jailed. You would be jailed if you cross them. You would not be able to build on your own property. You'd have a Waco. Well, let's remember who, who put the fence around the burger place. Shit. Oh, you're telling Tin Horn Flats. Tin Horns Flats.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Yeah, no, they put fences around. No, no, Tinhorn Flats defied them, and they shut them down and put an iron gate around them, and they put them out of business. They or that Yenta that's the head of the public health department here in Los Angeles. Barbara Ferrer. Well, there's also a city councilman who's. I think Mark Gergris was paddling with him. He was a Glendale City Council guy who, in his profile, claimed to be, like, on the spectrum. Like, he was half, he was like, he was fucking retarded.
Starting point is 00:28:09 So I was like, hey, if you're retarded, maybe he shouldn't be making policy because your policy's retarded. But he wanted, he went, there's now a new breed of dude who thinks he's going to score points by going up. I'm a half-tard. So, thank you. But I might think it's like, I don't want you flying an airplane or making Glendale or Burbank City Council. stuff. But yeah. So they went and destroyed a 70-year-old family business
Starting point is 00:28:36 off a bad policy that never counted. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. For Darren to cross. And I went there. You were on Gutfeld with Andrew Grohl, who made his name by daring to serve food outdoors in Huntington Beach. I heard they were shutting Tin Horn Flats down
Starting point is 00:28:53 and I got my son and I said, we're eating tonight at Tin Horn Flats. And the rest of you pussy stayed home and you ate a fucking dick. And that's on you. That's on you and you got mad at me for calling you pussies. But here we are. And now the vaccine's bad. Nice job, moms. Good going, mom.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Love you, mom. Wonderful jobs. Poisoning your kids. Sitting around watching fucking CNN and talking your dumb yenta friends and poison your little fucking pint-sized squirrel brains. And now you fucked your kids up. Good for you. Nice job.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Any other great plans you have? Should we listen to you when the next tragedy comes down the pike? Fucking. idiots. Everyone's so disappointing to me. Starting point is 00:30:31 dot com slash Adam and Drew. That's better help.com slash Adam and Drew. At Pluto TV, we're celebrating Black History Month with our free curated collection of black entertainment. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Catch award winning films like Dreamgirls, Monsters Ball, and Selma. We must make a massive demonstration. Iconic hits like school days and set it off.
Starting point is 00:30:58 Plus full seasons of shows like Tyler Perry's sisters and power. I got you. It stars studded brilliant black entertainment and it's all free. This month and always on Pluto TV. Stream now, pay never. And remember you said to me, why do you keep calling everyone pussies? Remember you kept saying that? Did I say that or was that everybody?
Starting point is 00:31:20 I kept trying to get you to soften a little bit. You want to know why I called everyone a cower and a pussy all the time. Did I say that? Yes. Wow. Yeah. Hmm. I have changed.
Starting point is 00:31:33 They needed it. Somebody should tell everyone to fuck off. We should all went to the fucking beach. We should all went to Tinhorn Flats. And we all should have went fucking full Ruby Ridge on these assholes. Because they're going to try. Yeah. They're ruining people.
Starting point is 00:31:49 They're hurting people. You got a bunch of fucking healthy kids vaccinated. You fucking idiots and it's bad for them. And you poison everyone's fucking brain. And no, this is. thing. They got to Mama. They rodded Mama's brain and Mama took him to get vaccinated. That's how it worked. Well, so the brainwashing is alive and well. Oh, God, yes. Yeah, and it's kind of extraordinary. We've got to keep an eye on that because it's really a problem. And as you've pointed
Starting point is 00:32:20 out many, many times, it starts with the language. Yes. Right? And I think we, to me, that feels like a battleground we have to really fight on, right? Were you and I talking about the illegal alien conversation? I mean, it's such an easy... No, I'm talking Dave Rubin about this. Yeah, but listen, if you're an illegal alien, you've got to go. If you're an undocumented neighbor or undocumented worker or something like that, if you're a if you're an immigrant with no documents, then you don't have to go. We've got to get you some documents. I mean, you think about Democrats, what they want to do.
Starting point is 00:33:04 They want these people to vote for them. So they go, these are undocumented immigrants. And then you go, oh, undocumented. Guess who built this country? Immigrants and or slaves. They toggle back and forth. It's all built by slaves or all built by immigrants or immigrants and slaves. No Irish or Italians.
Starting point is 00:33:22 They're built that place, anything. But anyway, by the way, whenever they show those old-timey skyscraper, guys eat lunch on an eyebeams, all white guys. I never see any slaves on those things, and I don't see a lot of Hispanics. But I guess maybe they mean Irish immigrants. But the point is this, if you have illegal aliens in your country, then you have to get rid of them. If you have undocumented immigrants, then you have to get them documented. You understand?
Starting point is 00:33:50 Yeah. So that's how they work with everything. They, they, you know, the gender reassignment surgery and the, um, um, gender affirming care. It's all, it's all, it's all euphemistic, everything for shit they want to do. That's horrible. I think we had to lean in a little bit. Like, let's just call illegal aliens, IAs. Okay, you don't want to use the word?
Starting point is 00:34:14 IA, okay, IA. You know what the French call it? Clandestine immigrants. You like that better? Clandestine? That sounds good to? I do. I do.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Look, look, you have to soften. the language with everything you want to do. We need to lean into it and fight those fights. First off, I was told on stage by a retarded comedian to stop using the word retard 14 years ago. I said, fuck you, Todd Glass or whoever it was. It told me don't stop saying retard. I was on stage at the improv in front of a live audience when I think it was Todd Glass
Starting point is 00:34:47 told me not to use the word retard. And I told him, fuck you. And by the way, I don't go for it. or any of the shit. I've always said that. I've always said don't go for the language. To tell you what to say. Drew, they started... It's a creep.
Starting point is 00:35:03 I told you... I told you when they were telling me not to say blind and to start saying seeing impaired. When they said, rape survivor, not rape victim, I said, who gives a shit? That 1997... Right a minute. ...1997, Drew, with you in the room and they were trying to get me... to say rape survivor versus rape victim and I said I don't give a fuck it's a rape victim what the fuck's the difference and how are you solving this problem with the nomenclature I said it 30 years ago
Starting point is 00:35:35 and you made fun of the rape as a violent crime my favorite joke of all time oh maybe we'll see we'll see we'll see if young chuck likes this joke oh you heard this joke oh Andrew baby I'm so jealous that you get to hear this for the first time you miss Drew, the only joke Drew likes is this joke. No, the other one I keep, a constant callback. It never gets old. All right. You guys missed a whole.
Starting point is 00:36:02 So everything was, this whole redefining everything was something that they tried for, you know, walls don't keep people out. They keep people in, you know, and no one is illegal and, you know, indigenous land. We're all, whatever they're cocked to bullshit, they're trying to pedal. They've been trying for a long time. They don't do this anymore. But in the mid-90s, I would say, maybe early 90s. They started peddling this. Rape is not a sex crime.
Starting point is 00:36:32 It's a power thing. It's a violence crime, but it's not a sexual crime. They would go so far as it has nothing to do with sex. Nothing. It's all about violence. The same nut jobs are peddling whatever climate change or whatever the same screwball dumb bitches that are peddling whatever horse shit. The same ones that went all in.
Starting point is 00:36:52 on COVID and stuff. In the mid-90s, they were pushing this whole, it's not a sex. It's not about sex. It's not even a sexual act. It's a power and violence crime. Explicitly saying this over and over again. Okay. I would go on Loveline. I would go. And I agree. It's 100%. It is not a crime of sexuality. It's a crime of violence where you come. at the end. And I would go, it's no different than if I walked into a 7-Eleven and I pistol-whipped the guy behind the counter and then came on him and then stormed out.
Starting point is 00:37:36 It's no, or you're at the ATM and somebody came up behind you and threat and then came and then, but it's violence. It's 100% violence where you come at the end. And as a matter of fact, the coming part is the only part that makes it sexual. but it's all about violence where you come but then you come and Drew loves that joke right
Starting point is 00:38:02 it's so good it's so much you like that joke Chuck how fucking crazy we are Andrew you never heard that joke Drew's favorite joke and then there's Drew's other
Starting point is 00:38:15 rapist joke rape joke this other rape joke there's another rape joke there's somewhere Where, oh, God, okay, somewhere there is a recording, and maybe it can be found online. Uh-oh. I'm trying to, all right, now let me.
Starting point is 00:38:35 Am I going to remember this? Oh, God, you're going to remember it. Yes, of course you're going to remember it. There's, um, all right, I'm trying to, try that. Okay, I'm sorry. Sorry, who stars in, is this thing on? sorry, I'm just blanking on the guy's name. Will Arnett.
Starting point is 00:38:54 Will, the rape. There's a tape. He did it a couple of times, I think. Yeah, Will Arnett did a great voiceover on Loveline. Maybe Will Arnett hack voiceover. Put Will Arnett hack Love Line, maybe. That'll do it. Let's see what it does there.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Anyway, if you can find it, we'll find it. If not, I'll recreate it. But now, this is a rape joke that Drew. didn't appreciate. I didn't like it as much. No. No, you didn't like it at all. He didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:39:25 It went, no, no. At first it was funny. And then you guys kept doing it for like three hours. Wait, I'm like, Will, do it again. Well, if it's findable, you tell us. Oh, we can find it. Oh, wow. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Let's see if it. That's a, that would be a first. That's a deep cut. Some Will Arnette's got an equally handsome voice. It brings in quite a bit of money every year, isn't that right, Willie? Mr. GMC? You do the GMC? I do gymsy trucks.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Yeah, you do have a good voice. He's got that voice quality down. Do some of the GMC. Here we go. God, what is the new GMC? I don't know. That is it. Is Jason Bateman the other guy?
Starting point is 00:40:05 Maybe. Everyone sounds screwed up, though. No, no, no, no. Those old tape sounds sped up. Yeah, yeah. But I'll let you find the hack part. By the way, the one where he really went into it, I don't think Jason was in there.
Starting point is 00:40:19 maybe you're right. Maybe you're right. And I'll let them, I'll let them find that. They'll just tell me when they, when they do find it. We'll figure that out. And by the way, the caissons and the seawall is all, seawalls are to stop erosion, but these seawalls that we're seeing in Malibu, the one that I showed you, is to stop, is to stop leaching from the septic system.
Starting point is 00:40:49 The whole thing should just be on a sewer, but whatever. We're showing a picture of I'm not sure what, Andrew, but it, uh... That is an old seawall, and that was, this was what was sent to me by the contractor who's building this huge case on. Yeah, uh, look, the whole, look, it's a super simple equation. You ready, Drew? Yeah. It's super simple, super simple.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Your car is safe, but it's not as safe as a race car is because a race car has a full roll cage in a fire suppression system. And it also has a fuel bladder inside the fuel tank as a fuel cell. You have a tank. It's a tin tank. It's filled with gasoline. And these have a bladder. It's like a ballistic bladder. You can fire a gun at it and it won't blow up or anything.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Also, they put those in airplanes and stuff like that. We're taking fire, you know, kind of stuff. Anyway. Okay. You, your drive over here would be safer with a full roll cage in a fire suppression system and a fuel cell and other things of safety of nature. And you'd be safer if you were in a fire suit and a helmet as well. But the cost of your car. would go from $87,000 to $161,000.
Starting point is 00:42:24 And then that would just make it hard to buy expensive. It would weigh more. You know, it would just put a burden. The manufacturers wouldn't be able to make them as fast, blah, blah, blah, they would just pass it all down to the consumer. And so then less people would be able to afford cars, and it wouldn't be realistic to do. And so we always go, what's up with the housing shortage here?
Starting point is 00:42:48 What's up with that? Go find a mirror and realize that there's so much bureaucracy that they can't build. You understand? By the way, what you're looking at with that foundation is no different. You laugh. You know, oh, Hardy Har, a roll bar and a fire suppression said, no, that is more realistic than what they're doing with that foundation. I mean, it would add a percentage to the car, but not what this adds. and also makes it makes more sense.
Starting point is 00:43:21 I mean, X amount of people die in rollover accidents and X amount of people die in car fires. It would clinically make more sense to do it. None of these houses ever got washed out to see, and they've been there from the 30s and 40s. It looks like it's designed to withstand a tsunami. Yeah, well, here's how you know you don't need it. Every single house never had it, and nothing ever happened,
Starting point is 00:43:46 just like my home from the 20s. We're living in an earthquake country. It went through all the earthquakes. So what are you saying? Why would it need it because we're an earthquake country if it made it through all the biggest earthquakes and nothing happened? Chick think true. Safety Uber Alice.
Starting point is 00:44:07 That's all Chick. It's all Chick. Okay. So L.A. in New York, get a high chick think score, right? Run, city. and, you know, I don't know, Beaumont, Texas gets a low one or whatever that is. Oh, we have Will Arnett. Oh.
Starting point is 00:44:29 Doing my favorite joke that, well, not my favorite, but Drew had said. I swear it was like, no, it wasn't judging Amy. What the hell. Some sort of NBC. But, I mean, do you do NBC? Do you do anything on NBC? No. Well, then, man, this guy was ripping you off.
Starting point is 00:44:45 man were you ripping this guy off i was probably ripping him off but it's just uh it's it's become it was comical i t-voted i ran it back three times like this way i'm judging amy it's like wow just become a rapist yeah in order for amy to stop an international jewel thing amy is going to have to become a rapist which is which is odd because you don't you don't you don't you don't you don't You wouldn't know why that would have to be. Well, that's why you got to watch. Why would someone have to become a rapist to stop counterfeiters? Seemingly illegal.
Starting point is 00:45:23 You would think. Where's the correlation? Well, why don't you tune in and find out. On judging Amy. That's right. And Will. All right, but this is not him doing it. This is me.
Starting point is 00:45:34 It's just too bad. Let's see if he does it. What's my show? He does it. He does it. Oh, yeah, crank anchors, Tuesday nights. Thank you. But this is me talking about.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Comedy Central. talking about that's not him doing it's too bad half they're somewhere in there it's on the internet somewhere it comes it happens maybe it's doing it right there sorry heck we'll have to be there all right all right this week on hack go back sorry make it because uh always the best this week on hack in order to reach these kids hack will have to become a rapist now listening I mean, listening to that voice, I now know the guy you mean. It is on NBC and he does NBC daytime. And he's like the seemingly lowest sounding most sort of daunting.
Starting point is 00:46:23 All right. You can find a few takes on it. We'll figure it out. Jason's not in there on that one. Yeah. The joke for the kids, once again for young Chuck, is every other cop drama, like detective drama in the 80s, in the 70s too. They'd have to, they'd always say in order to bust a renegade biker gang, hack is going to have to become a renegade biker.
Starting point is 00:46:53 And it's like, oh, man, you know. He's going inside. You'd go inside. That's to infiltrate this group in order to, you know, stop these international drug smugglers. He's going to have to pose as an international drug smuggler or whatever. And I would always do that. Charlie's Angels would have to make the female football team in order to, you know, get inside to bust the killer.
Starting point is 00:47:14 You know, it was always, you'd have to go undercover and become that. But this one was, in order to bust an international jewel thief, hack is going to have to become a rapist. Everything ended in rape. And that was the joke. The Drew didn't appreciate as much as the other rape joke I made. Not as much. No.
Starting point is 00:47:37 A lot of... The other one, I... Something about... Something about, actually, it was your delivery that guy. I still remember you're going, and jump over the counter. I pistol up the guy, and you come. And then we go beat the show. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Yeah, it's a funny concept that I've done on stage once or twice, but the audience always freaks out. Which? With? This rape joke? Yeah. What do you mean which? No, no.
Starting point is 00:48:06 I thought you meant that kind of a construct or a joke. Why do they freak out? I'm saying it's ones I've done in front of an audience. Why do they freak out? No, seriously. I mean, you're talking about raping people and coming and stuff. They don't know when to laugh.
Starting point is 00:48:21 It sounds very weird. It's like a racist joke or something. You know, rape is not a victim. You know, it's a violent crime, but it's not a sentence. There's people in the audience. Half the people in the audience have been raped. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Statistically, right?
Starting point is 00:48:35 Yeah, yeah. So they don't know what, and their fucking husband's sitting next. They don't know what. to do with it. It's like an AIDS joke or something. It's too serious. Yeah, I mean, I might be able to work it out. I'm going to try. Chuck, remind me to do my rape, violent, come joke. No, I think if I were there, you know what I mean, reacting, it might change how it's received. Yes. You know what I mean? You should come on the road with me. Yes. Not, but I mean, join you on the road. Be careful. Well, Drew, you've said it all. I have said it all. But it makes
Starting point is 00:49:05 me also think about the, I don't know, simpler times when we had Jason Bateman and Will Arnett in here. I don't know what those guys' politics are, but it never came up. You know what I mean? It's a good point. Never. Never. And I like those guys as much, maybe more. I mean, Jason Bateman's just done so many amazing things since then. And Will, did you see his series about Venice, California? No, I didn't see that. He did a whole series about it. It was really good, really clever. Clearly he'd lived in Venice for a while. I just have such admiration for those guys. It made me sad, I guess, wistful, that we don't live in simpler times and we can all just kind of...
Starting point is 00:49:42 Well, you can blame all of them because it's all of the people on the left to have cast out. I don't know, but I don't know if we or Jason are that way. I don't know. I don't know them per se, but they will cast you out if you don't believe in destroying cities, basically. All right. Let's see. Orlando, Funny Bone, live podcast with Michael Yo. That'll be tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:50:03 and then some tickets left to Naples off the hook, but some sold out. That'll be Friday Saturday. Go to Adamcrawler.com for all the dates and info. What do you got, Drew? Got Dr.rew.com. We have a show called Ask Dr. Drew on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Wednesday, Thursday, 2. Oh, by the way, just before we wrap up, did you see the Will Shat ad with Raisin Brand? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:28 Pull it up, guys. Will Shat. It's the best ad of all time. Well, we're doing. Other programs. I know. So when we come back around, we'll do, we'll listen to Will Shelf. Okay.
Starting point is 00:50:38 Yeah, I'm just wrapping up. I'm wrapping up. I know, but I got a lot I want to talk to you about. I know, but then we're doing another show, so you can just say it in the other show instead of pack it on to the end of this where no one will hear it because we're done with this show. Oh, I don't want to air the... I see what you're saying. We're done, Drew. We're just done.
Starting point is 00:50:56 I just did the plugs. All right. Go, doctor. com. It's all there. Also asked Dr. Tuesdays a Thursday. 2 o'clock on Tuesday and Thursday,
Starting point is 00:51:04 4 o'clock on Wednesday and then go to X world there. Oh, hey, could we get a picture of a Corvette that I want to talk about, just any Corvette? Did you see that Corvette? Jesus Christ. Drew, we're done. We're doing another show, though.
Starting point is 00:51:20 Right. So if you want to see the ad that if something's funny, then put it in this one. Okay. Well, we did the plugs is what I'm saying. It's all good. Because we're done. We're done.
Starting point is 00:51:31 See you next time. At Pluto TV, we're celebrating Black History Month with our free curated collection of Black entertainment. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
