Which is, you know, I have this visceral reaction to all this DEI stuff and it's really destructive. And it's this kind of a, it's interesting because the thing that, Most everything in society the other people deem is like, oh, that's good progress. It's a good thing. You know, now I'm like, that's, that's, I don't look at it as neutral. I look at it as destructive.

Yeah. Right. So they go, yeah. The self-esteem movement, that's awesome. We get all these kids, I go, no, it's not only not awesome. It's, it's destructive. And people are like, what? How could you be?

What, why would you be against it? It doesn't bear fruit. And the fruit, it bears. is poisonous. And so there's all this stuff that they're pitching that it's kind of an interesting thing. They're literally, I mean, maybe it's like the vaccine, you know, like get your young son vaccinated for a good thing. And it's like, here's the thing.

Not only is it not a good thing, it's a bad thing. It's not even a neutral thing. So most of the shit you're pitching is bad. And all your policies are bad. They're destructive. They're not even. And, well, you know, there's a part of life where we go, well, I could go out to the yard and rake the leaves or I could not rake the leaves. And if you rake the leaves, you'd get the leaves.

But if you didn't rake the leaves, you'd still be just where you were. But that's not this. This is worse. This is causing problems. It's hurting kids and whatever. So DEI drew. It's not just innocuous sort of thing that's a good thing. that Al Sharpton likes. It's super destructive.

So let's let's draw. I want to really drill into this. I'm wondering what your thoughts were in detail, but but it also occurs to me that in abstraction, high self-esteem is a good thing. In an abstraction, more diversity is a good thing. And then supporters would say, ah, it's a little bad outcome, but worth it in the long run because we get this good thing. Yeah, I agree. I don't, by the way, the diversity is a good thing. I haven't signed off on that. No one has shown me why it's a good thing.

But I think you don't sign off on it because it has so many deleterious consequences. No, no, no, no, no. I'm playing by your rules, Drew. You set the rules in the abstract. I don't think it's good in the abstract. I think we like it. I mean, it makes us feel like something. It's like, I have gay friends.

I don't know. is that really a good thing? It's not a bad thing, but I just mean, does it, how's it help? You know what I mean? I kind of get what you're saying, but I'm not signed off. Diversity is definitely not our strength. I'm in Los Angeles. Everyone's speaking 17 different languages is not our strength.

That I can tell you. How can we make it? I guess it begs the issue. Is there a way it could become abstractly good? The only way could be abstractly good is you can have a baseball team. And you can have a baseball team and you can have white players and black players and Dominican players and a couple Japanese players. And if you all buy into the exact same system and put the uniform on, then it'll work.

But if you're all just doing your own thing and you all have, you go, here's my, here's the third basement signed for Bunt. And then the Dominican guy goes, no, no, I got. got my own guy. Yeah, yeah. Well, then we're fucked. Then the team's fucked. And that's what we're experiencing.

Oh, you want to come here from Somalia and blend right in and learn the language and salute the flag. We got no problems. You want to break off into your own ghetto and rape the system and speak your own language. Then now we got a problem, which is what's going on. Well, it's drilling even further. So it's the way in which it's being perpetrated, so to speak. And by the way, the way that is allowed, yeah, what?

The way that's going down is, well, of course, that's the way we're going to do it, because to insist on incorporating the culture, that's white supremacy. That's colonialization. That's a step. It's a step that screws it up, right? Yes, that screws it up, but I'm now at the point where, like, you go, well, it depends, you know, it's not being implemented, whatever. I don't know that you can implement it correctly under the new world order.

Well, you could have your baseball team if everyone played by the rules. There's no doubt about it. Yeah, but then you, you, look, we try to get English only in schools and that gets shot down. We're not going to be able to do it with the people who are in charge, especially in California. But here's what I'm saying, Drew. Here's the revelation, the DEI thought. many countries and a lot most most countries that are failing they fail because they're on a their system is like look you don't hire the best man for the job you hire your brother

and and you hire your family you know and many countries are that way we're not that way We hire the best person for the job. That's how we roll. And that's how we kick ass. But now you get Javier Bacera, right? So Javier Bucera is going to run for governor and it's probably going to be governor. Now, his background is from Mexico, and that's basically a narco state. Okay.

Part of the problem with Mexico is they do that thing where they go, we get your brother, we're going to hire your brother-in-law, not the guy. who's more qualified, who we've never met before, because that's the way we do things here in Mexico. And then you fail, right? So then Javier Becerra comes here, and he's a dope. When you hear him talk, when you hear him speak, he's got bad ideas, he's destructive. But he's going to win because the Mexicans are going to vote for him

because that's their brother-in-law. And now they've recreated their fucking failed state. See what I'm saying? Yes, yes, yes. Now, Steve Hilton, that guy's a white guy with an English accent. So no Mexican's going to vote for him. We're going to vote for the guy who's our brother, who then will destroy the state. That's what we can't have, but we now have it.

Should we watch the Steve Hilton machine video about Bacera? Is it worth looking at 30 seconds of that? I know you brought that up and wanted to. I just don't know if it's... We can also refer people to it, but do you think it's right to play it here? I don't know. It's a pretty good video.

is from California where gas is, you know, two bucks a gallon more than anywhere else in the country. And then when he starts bringing up how expensive gas is, they always go, yeah, that's because of the war. It's like, hey, dingbat, why isn't the entire country paying an extra $2? They keep, Newsom tries to pitch the war thing. Newsom tries to pitch the Exxon is gouging us. Welker's up there going because of the war. Are you guys, fucking stupid or you just, do you just have blind allegiance to the Democratic Party? They literally can't believe what it is here in the people. You do know, but you do, okay, you get the average price of gasoline is $4.9 and in California,

it's $5.85. You do you understand that. Do you not, do not understand that concept? No, they don't. They deny it because it's a $2 tax. And they can't believe. that California is put up with that or that you don't think Chris and Welker's aware of the fact that it's $2 more here and how could that possibly be because of the war? This is that question. We always ask ourselves what's lying, what's willful negligence, what is just being in the bubble. I mean, it's a combination of motivation, motivated reasoning, I suspect. Also, you can kind of tell how they vote and who their allegiance is to, because it's sort of like Leslie Stahl with Trump,

you know, when Trump's like, what about Biden and the crop? Sir, sir, sir, not. Like, let him finish his thought. Yeah. Can you let him finish? Yeah. All right, here's dumb shit, Chris and Wilker. Well, why is it above $5.50 in California?

Because of the Democrat policies. The other day, Well, because of the war in Iran, Mr. Hilton. And because of the war in Iran. Gas has gone up about a dollar since Joe Biden left office. That's right. Hey, bitch, how about you let him do an interview? How about you just interview them?

A gallon of gas is three bucks there and five bucks here. Like it's just pretty much, it's just straight across the board because of all the fucking regulation. Building is less expensive. sort of incredible work. I mean, his, his, it's exactly what I expected from him when I was saying back in the day, follow this guy, listen to what he's saying. His work with some of the vaccine people and the FDA, these committee meetings he was having, I mean, it was, he was being a careful scientist. He was really trying to do things right. That's one thing. The other thing in his diary was something I see that happens to physicians all the time, which is when they get in the media, they lose their effing minds. Yes. They get so elated and excited. It's the same thing they do when they take care of celebrities. Yeah. They, a special person. I get it. I get it. I mean, they're nerds who are getting attention.

And Adam, it's exactly why I was so screwed up about this, because during the AIDS pandemic or epidemic, he was totally different. He was just the scientist because there was no social media, there was no cable news elevating him to stars. I get it. We did cover this in a previous episode. Do you have thoughts?

Beyond this. Yes. Well, what I was, what I was, the new thought is how much good work he was doing. And I want to juxtapose that to the, the craziness that I saw that doctors get into. Well, I mean, he, listen, he got captured the same way half the dopes and most all the dopes in Hollywood got captured. What was the, what was the, what's the difference between what happened to him and what happened to Julia Roberts? You know what I mean? Yeah.

Yeah. Every late night show. and everybody in Hollywood. They just got happier. He's not supposed to be that way. I know. He's not supposed to. Yeah.

So now can we do what I asked, though, at the beginning, which is find any of her takes on Fauci or any of that stuff? I went through her Twitter. It's not really that inflammatory. There's nothing there.

No. It's pretty fair and balanced. Wow. Well, then I'm telling you somebody else. Somebody else made that headline. Oh. We haven't read the article yet. I bet you somebody else did the headline.

So I'm looking at all this stuff. And of course, I keep saying that, you know, Alpha and Delta was a different illness than Omicron. and people cannot seem to get that through their head. And I noticed Peter Hottes tweeted something today. Oh, your friend. He's a chuel of a man. 1.2 million people died, including 200,000. Wasn't unvaccinated.

Okay. So no one is saying this wasn't a horrible thing. Is that all Hotez wrote? I mean, what else did he write? That's all I wrote down because I want to build on this. How come no one dies? of the flu in those two years. They can't figure that out, frankly.

That remains a weird mystery. Well, maybe people die to the flu and they thought it was COVID. Maybe. My point is and continues to be, this is the real issue here, which is, yes, during the dark days of Alpha and Delta, it was, that was tough. That's a bad illness. People died. Old people died. Could we have done a better job saving those people?

by quarantining them, that 1.2 million that eventually died of this thing. Could we have done a better job by quarantining them? And could we have not have harmed the 50 million young people that we screwed up by closing down schools and locking them in their homes? Well, of course, we could have, but that's no fun for Gavin Newsom or Gretchen Whitmer. They're there to be in charge. See, they're all drunk with power. Let me tell you something, Drew.

And then there's, you know, flying private, bringing your friends onto your private jet and that kind of stuff. And you can see that Fauci fucking love that he is able to shut it down. You saying, you know, Howard Hughes lived in Las Vegas, the silver slipper. was a casino across the street.

How is it no one? died of the flu in those two years or whatever. They're not counting. They're counting COVID is fucking everything. Listen, here's the deal. It wasn't that dangerous. It just wasn't that dangerous. That's it.

It was never dangerous to kids. It was never dangerous to healthy people. It was never dangerous to people that didn't have comorbidities. And I mean like three. Three. So it was never dangerous. It just wasn't. I knew it.

And I knew it from the word go. because they fucking lied about the danger. Find that clip of Fauci. There's a clip of Fauci where he goes, this thing is 2% mortality, maybe 2, 2.5% mortality.

Okay, that's 10 times what he wrote in his diary. But in the same thing, he goes, and probably realistically about one. Okay, well, hold on, Mr. Information. Yeah. What does that mean? So it's like, okay, Adam, how much is a role? Rolls-Royce. It's probably $300,000 to $350,000, probably more realistically, like $125,000.

Yeah. So during Obama, the H1N word was more deadly. Is that what you're saying, true? No, I'm saying it was deadly, but the point is 300,000 to a million. Yes, that's a difference. The mortality for seasonal flu is 0.1. The mortality for this is about 2, 2.5%. It's probably lower than that. It's probably closer to 1. But even if it's 1, it's 10 times. more lethal than the season of flu. All right, so let's put this in a transcript form. The mortality for this is two, maybe two and a half,

but probably more like one. Well, one is a lot less in these calculations. One is a lot less than two or two and a half when we're talking about mortality. But what is it you just said? It was really, it's really disturbing to see when you go along with that stuff. You did a yeoman's job of being a Patsy. Do you want to how I know that? Go ahead. Because I heard two black guys go, You, man. Drew's a patsy, bro. Yeah.

Yeah, we got there. We got there again. Zinger, man. So, look, Drew, here's the thing about you. You care about how people think of you. And everybody cares about how people think of them. The question is, is how much do they care? Yeah.

Everyone cares just like COVID exists, how dangerous is it? The question isn't, does it exist? The question is, is what's it going to do to a healthy you or whoever you are, whatever age you are, whatever your health is. Okay. So you care about what people think of you and I care about what people think of me. And everyone feels that way. You care more about what people think of you.

and I care less. I don't care zero. I think I care less than you. And there's a lot of people, and I would say in general, women, who care more than you. Because that's how they're built. It's in their DNA.

So I knew lots of women who care deeply about this, and I knew a lot of guys. And then there's a professional side. There's a, hey man, I'm on. TV and I will be thrown off a TV or I work for ESPN and I will be thrown off ESPN. Same on the physician side. All the authorities are saying I'm going to fall in line with my period. Right. I'm not going to prescribe Ivermectin. I'm not going to do it. I don't want to get fired. Then I care. So you were just guilty of sort of caring about your position, status, place, life, society. And there's another

layered with me, I started thinking I was, I deceived myself. I was wrong. I'm always open to being wrong. And that's kind of a mistake sometimes, particularly when the hysteria gets going. Well, here's, I woke up. Yeah. I woke up, you know, I got it came around, but I was considering myself wrong for a while. Well, look, everybody, I tell everyone all time, you got to have an antenna and you got to make sure it's pointed true north and you have to constantly tune it. It's not, you don't set it and forget it. It's a daily ritual to make sure that thing is true north and you're getting the signal as clearly as possible.

And then once you do that and you have a habit of doing that and it becomes a lifestyle, then when shit comes along, you just go, no, not. So describe how people should do that. How do you do that? You first need to constantly question yourself. You're constantly questioning yourself. Right, but then I started thinking I'm wrong. You need to question yourself.

And you need to really remove yourself from the equation. That's a hard thing to do. Yeah. But you need to kind of go, look, forget about my biases or forget about that I live in this time or I have kids or, you know, whatever. I got kids. I want them to go back to school. Am I just saying school safe?

Is school safe because I want my kids to go back to school or is it actually safe? What if I didn't have kids? Would I still be talking about this? Yeah, but you're very, maybe it's because you've been tuning up for so long. I'm a black belt at it. I don't even exist in my equation. Right. That's right.

And not only do I not exist, I weigh it toward the other side, another 10%. I'm not even split. It's not that I haven't exist. I don't exist and I'll tend to believe you a little bit. So I'll be that tuned up. And then recognize patterns, recognize motivations. And also like recognize stuff. Like again, so many people told me I did everything right and I still got COVID.

All right. That's information. What that says to me is why bother doing everything right. if you're just going to get it. Everything right was wrong. Quite literally.
