Recorded live at Corolla 1 Studios with Adam Carolla
and board certified physician and addiction medicine specialist, Dr. Drew Pinsky.
You're listening to The Adam and Dr. Drew's show.
Yeah, get it on, got to get on.
The judge, we've got a mandate you get it on.
Dr. Drew's board for suicide specialist.
Suicide specialists.
Suicide specialists.
Mix, mix, mix, mix, mix a lot.
All right.
It was almost a Mexican.
What's going on?
Yeah, dude. So I was just sitting here thinking about the amount of travel you do.
Mm-hmm.
And whether in the course of that travel, have you observed anything about what Abraham Lincoln used to call the public mind, about the national mind?
You and I've never really talked. We kind of talk around it and stuff, but not explicitly. It just occurred to me and not heard those thoughts from you.
You mean like the general vibe or the temperature of the people?
And I know you're speaking at your events to a certain select group, but you're out there talking to people.
You're in the world.
You know, you're observing, and I know how you see patterns and stuff so vividly.
So I'm wondering what you have for us.
It's a group, mostly the group of people I speak to who I either speak to at a corporate level or they come to the comedy show or they just, I don't know, stop you at the airport.
they're normally they're kind of pragmatic normal people who are trying to sort of explain
you know we just want basic stuff like normal we just want normal basic stuff I don't know
what these people want I don't know why they're doing this but we just want to live kind of normal
like you know we did in the 80s or the 70s you know we just want you know the family and the
in the house with the picket fence and the dog and like we just want to enjoy ourselves you know
I don't know we put the American flag out in the 4th of July it's not a big deal you know
it's kind of trying to explain like everything's not an attack it's not a hate crime people just
want to get on with it and sort of enjoy America I don't I'm tired of like arguing about
everything it's we just want normal things they I think they think we want exotic things
or I don't mean exotic, but what I mean is...
You're hateful.
You want things like, you know, you're not going to rest until everyone is held under your boot, you know?
And it's like, no.
Everyone just wants to be left alone and kind of get on with it.
And they, they're like, if you're a criminal, they want to put you in jail.
Yeah.
And if you're a terrorist, they don't want you let into this country.
Like, and if you're a leader of a terrorist, they want you killed by a drone.
But by the way, if you don't engage in any of this behavior, then everyone's fine with everyone.
It's a weird thing.
They don't have any nationality thoughts, you know?
They have thoughts.
But that's racist, not to have thought, which is weird.
No, no, no.
The thoughts are you're statistically much more likely to be the victim of violent crime at the hands of a young black man than you are at a young Asian man.
So they have thoughts about young black men.
But it's kind of the same thing you'd have about, like, drunk drivers or something,
where it's kind of like, is anyone guaranteed being hit by drunk drivers?
Like, no.
Is it more dangerous to drive when you're drunk?
Yes.
Would we like to prevent, you know, would we profile a car that was sort of swerving?
You know, when you're driving at night, you see a guy sort of drifting this way and drifting that way?
And you go, I think that guy may have had a few.
few pops. Like, I'm going to get a safe distance. Well, now you're profiling. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I am.
Use just to call judgment. I am. I don't know that that guy's drunk. But it seems like...
The word for profiling throughout human history is judgment. Just you're judging. Right.
You used clued into that a long time ago. Yeah. Cannot judge. Cannot judge.
Yes. They would like for the black community and every other community to join us in prosperity.
and then they wouldn't have to worry about all the stuff they're worried about security-wise or whatever.
They don't want to live in a place that's crawling with cops in a double-gated community.
They'd like to live in a place where you leave your screen door open at night on a hot day and go to bed.
They want all that stuff.
Well, you know what's weird to me is that I remember a similar Leave Me Alone kind of feeling people were having in 2016.
And I do agree with you that that's sort of coming up again.
Yes.
Right?
And I don't know the form it's going to take.
You know, I think what's different about this time is there's a certain amount of helplessness attached to it, which is, oh, my God, I want them to leave me alone, but the voting thing is so messed up.
I can't expect voters to help me.
I can't expect the voting to affect this.
Right.
Which is weird.
That's a new, another insight and a weird insight.
Yeah, I mean, it's this, I think, I feel like I had this in my marriage where I was just going, I just want to get along.
I just want to enjoy myself.
I just want to have a nice life.
Don't you want to do this?
This is a good life where you do healthy things.
Nah, nah, I want a battle.
Here's some earrings.
I'll try to bribe you.
No, no, no.
We got a battle.
But it is very chick, it is chick centric.
You know what I mean?
don't even know that they don't know. They don't know that they don't want what they say they want.
You know what I mean? It's all sort of black lives matters. Like what do you guys want? Do you know
or do you have it? Or what have you done? Or what's the plan? Your plan is to get cops to stop
killing innocent black people. Well, that doesn't happen. So what's your next plan? Oh, you want them to
stop lynching black people. Okay, that doesn't happen. So what's your next plan? Our next plan is to go
back and talk about the cops again. Like, I don't think they want what they say they want. I've
always, I've always said that. Like I said, micro and macro. My ex-wife didn't want to have a
happy family and get along. Otherwise, she would have done any of the, she would have taken me up on
any of the offerings I'd made to her or acted like it or acted as if. She wanted to get out.
Yeah. Well, take money and leave and be left alone. Well, it's just what she's owed. I mean, just
right. Right. Right. Just what she's entitled to. I'm sorry. We're not entitled to.
creating anything for 20 years.
But what I'm saying is...
She's not the state of California.
She's entitled to...
All I'm saying is she did not want what she's telling.
She'll talk to her friends and go,
of course I wanted a happy marriage or whatever.
You did nothing to enact that at all.
We're getting into a really interesting topic.
I don't think they know it is kind of what...
I don't think my ex-wife knew it.
Right.
I don't think she knows it today.
New.
She could have had a long-lasting and happy marriage.
Yeah.
But there might be a piece of a...
dude, let me speak honestly, there may be a part of this that you have to contend with is maybe not with you.
Well, yeah.
It's just the fact.
For whatever reason, whatever the hell that is.
No, a traditional sort of intact family with activities and whatever vacations and whatever.
There is a zone where you can commit and make things work, right?
I mean, nobody's perfect, right?
No, you can say what is it that you want?
Like, what is it that I'm not doing that you would like?
and then I'll tell you what you're not doing.
But people don't do that.
No.
They just move on.
But that should be against their values, which is, I want to have a stable family, I want to protect my kids, want to hold this thing together.
That should be their values.
And they would say that's their values.
Oh, every time.
Yet they won't live by that.
No.
They won't act as it.
That's weird.
Oh, it's not, I mean, it's like.
Well, when you have all this advantageous sort of financial.
Here's what I think it is.
When things move your direction constantly in the state.
I understand.
Yes, you just take advantage of the person that works.
How dare you take advantage?
But listen.
Listen.
No, like, look, everyone understands what they're supposed to do vis-a-vis health.
You know, they know, well, smoking's bad and drinking's bad.
You know, health is, you know, good food and exercise, you know.
And they're like, yeah, I want some Chick-fil-A, man.
You know what I mean?
Like, they know sort of what it is.
And then there's what they want to do or can't help themselves from doing.
You know, and you say to someone, do you want to be fat?
It's like, no, I don't want to be fat.
You want to be healthy, right?
Yes, I want to be healthy.
All right, you do know what to do.
I mean, the same applies to the marriage.
Yeah.
You do know what the path is, but you're not doing it.
And you're not going to do it.
So it's like they know it on some level, but are they going to do it?
No.
So it's not as easy.
Just saying, do it.
Really interesting stuff here.
which is that we're really talking about values and virtue, right?
Living by your values, a virtuous person, a virtuous life.
Hang on.
It's a little highfalutin, but go ahead.
No, no, but let me break it back down.
I'm going to bring it down from there and say that's what Aristotle used to just call habits.
Yeah, habits.
Habits of living a certain way, a good life, a good person.
Okay.
Yeah.
I don't think we'd teach that anymore at all.
No, no.
And because it's a habit, it has to be taught.
It has to be sort of in.
Yeah, I mean, there's a discipline.
Look, you know, you and I were talking about how much we enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
Yeah.
We actually were coming to, to, to be fair, look forward to it.
What I was saying was my life is whittled down to that as my favorite enjoyment.
Yeah, but look, what I'm saying is, you know, if your wife, if your wife, if your wife, if your wife,
I've came up to you and said, you know, I think your coffee consumption is kind of concerning, Drew, and I found a lot of mugs around the house.
And I found some coffee.
Cleaned out paper cups.
Cleaned out paper cups.
And, you know, we're constantly getting orders of Folgers and cream to the house.
And you know what?
Let's just take the month of October off of coffee.
Okay, for me?
Sober.
Sober October.
With coffee.
And then, and then what would happen?
Well, what would happen is she would go, I'm going to Orange County to visit the grandkid, and I'm leaving Thursday morning, and I'm heading out, and then blah, blah, blah.
And then you would get up, and you would get up Thursday morning.
You'd see her car was out of the driveway, but she'd left early that morning, and you'd think, I'd like a cup of coffee is what you'd think to yourself, you know?
And then you'd go, we did kind of tell her.
It wasn't going to.
And then the other hand, it's like, she's not even here.
And next thing you know, you pour yourself a cup of coffee and then you walk out to the car and you realize the ring doorbell camera caught you walking out to the car holding the mug.
And then she calls and wants to know what's in the mug.
And then you panic and you go, just water, just tap water.
Wine a mug.
And now there's an argument and now there's a situation.
So it's like it's not as easy as just saying, hey, knock it off or don't do this or do do that.
People don't want to do it.
Kant had this first principle of, I think he called it ethics,
which is conduct your life essentially as though there's a camera running all times
and you can defend your behavior.
Yes.
And that's not a hard thing to do if it becomes a habit.
Because guess what?
Cameras are everywhere.
You are going to have to defend yourself.
So you might as well behave accordingly.
I'm just saying in relationships,
there's some people just don't want to do a bunch of shit.
And they don't.
Well.
But it's a lack of.
discipline, it's a lack of character, but then you go, why were you never taught any of this
discipline or any of this character? And I don't know, I am telling you, my son had a lot, has and
had a lot of character from Jump Street. Yeah. And there was not taught. I mean, there was no,
my house had no lessons going on, and if I ever tried, I was shot down. So there, there are no
lessons and there was nothing was taught. He was exposed to you and maybe he got some of that
from you. But yeah, let's just assume it's 85% genetic, just for the sake of argument.
Yes. Good. There is a certain amount of luck in certain things. No, I know. And my daughter doesn't
have a lack of character, but my son just had that, he had that character, like pretty early on.
All right.
So the teaching part, not sure about there's a concentration.
I mean, there's kind of a desperation part.
Like I got my character through desperation.
And you, yes, I am aware of that, but through impoverishment.
But also through, you had some certain genetic qualities that were different and it helped you through it.
Yeah.
Now, everybody has certain genetic qualities, right?
Everyone has their own sort of asset group.
I don't know.
You weren't born without a brain.
So I scroll through the internet, I start thinking like a lot of people are just kind of meat at this point.
Like they're not even thinking.
They're not even analyzing stuff.
50% of people are below 100 IQ.
Yeah.
And when you meet people with an 85 IQ, you'll be aware of it.
Yes.
And you can't bring that up.
That's the part that people don't want to really.
Right.
Or maybe you could get it towards 100 if you really worked on it early and often, which would be a good thing.
But, of course, we don't do that.
Well, what you need to do if you're dumb is to – I've said this a million times.
When I did or do a professional car race, I just follow the guy in front of me who's a professional driver.
I don't ask questions.
I just do what he does.
You know what I mean?
And there's a version of life where you just go, maybe I don't know everything and maybe
I'm not the most talented, maybe I'm not the smartest guy in the world.
I'll just follow these leads.
That's back to judgment.
Well, now everyone fights everyone who, you know, I have people fight with me constantly who are
way down the pecking order, you know what I mean?
Who aren't intellectually anything and not that bright, not that whatever.
And they fucking fight hard for their.
space when they should just be going, well, I'm looking around. You seem to know something.
Maybe you know something I don't know. And I'll just listen to you. Which that's all I ever did.
Anybody of any intelligence level, one of the most important talents is finding good mentors and listening to them.
That's a really important talent. Absolutely. Anybody who's successful has stuff like that.
But do we have to break it all? Yeah. Yeah, I see them holding the signs up.
But I want to talk to you about...
They have to say it out loud.
I do.
Yes.
But I want to talk about my nuttiness with the French politics stuff.
When we get back, when we get back.
All right.
We'll take quick break because it's on a sign.
And we're right back after this.

Yeah.
So I listen to a lot of French stuff in the morning when I'm getting ready.
And they have a really interesting.
sort of group of psychologists and psychoanalysts that speak publicly and they put on the news
media and stuff and things that we could not tolerate here.
It's really deep discussions.
And this one woman I've found has this construct that she, to just thumbnail it is essentially
that everything is now perverse.
She uses the word perversion, perverse over and over again as a way of sort of signaling
upside down.
and she calls it a narcissistic perversion, which kind of is true, right?
It's all your, it's not, nothing is my fault, everything is your fault, which is where she kind of starts this conversation.
And that's what a narcissist does.
It doesn't take, he or she doesn't take responsibility for anything.
And if you're not doing that, this is back to judgment about following good mentors,
really hard to dig out of that.
Yes.
You're going to get stuck.
And we have a political class and elite class that kind of,
want people there, I think, or something?
It's just, it's, or don't care,
or don't really have judgment themselves, so don't
see what they're doing to people.
It's a strong victimhood
class that they're sort of
crate. But they
they
trade on it.
Yeah, yeah, no, that's part
of the deal. I mean, that's why
they court the black vote or court the
gay and lesbian vote or whatever.
of that, I think.
Yeah.
Black men are like, hey, you're telling me how to think.
Fuck you.
Well, by the way, thanks, black guy.
It's only been 60 years.
Whatever.
Hey.
Would you please?
Dude.
I don't care.
No, I do.
They're fucking idiots.
The black community is just got fucking dragged by these idiots.
I want you to imagine being brainwashed in there yourself.
Now.
And then, you know what?
You know why?
Because you guys got zero results for 50 years and you still go along with these fucking
idiots.
and it's racist shit.
Like you love Obama.
Why do you love Obama's policies?
You don't even know what his fucking policies are.
You love him because you think he's black.
That's racist and that's fucking horrible.
It's what you guys preach against all the time.
So no, I don't have a lot of sympathy for the black community.
They should have fucking woken up with this shit a long time ago.
Let me fold it back on us.
I just did a throwback episode from like 2013.
And you and I are pretty much signing off on President Obama's policies and things.
We're like, we're like kind of like...
No, no, no, listen.
Here's what we're doing.
We're happy that there's a black president
so that we can turn the page on racism, racism, racism.
And he seems like a good guy.
Yes.
I didn't know he was a bad guy and a race hustler.
Well, I would argue what we didn't know...
And his policies are, I don't know what.
He's talking like a normal person
so he can get elected about the border.
And you can go back and check all his tape.
sounds normal. Now he's a fucking race-baiting radical. Well, yes. And we didn't know what we didn't
know. Yeah. COVID exposed us to so much. Yeah. There's such an, it's like, I wouldn't call it
an enlightenment because it has the opposite effect. It's a burden now. But it's a reveal of how
our government was working. We didn't know. No. No idea. I still probably have no idea, really.
Yeah, there's probably a lot more, and then there's more people who have no idea of what we're even talking about.
All right.
All right.
Yeah, something.
I got a bunch more stuff.
Well, I got a, my thing is, as I told you the other day, it's the time wasted.
I have no idea what we're doing in terms of wasting time.
I felt this way, getting back to, that's how I was in my marriage.
Like, what are we doing?
What are we doing?
What is this time?
Are you talking about before the divorce?
Yeah.
Or, and after.
Just sort of.
why is it
why we just wasting all this time
when we go do something and then
yeah when I got divorced I was like
what are you wasting all my time for it?
Three years let's go
I got to there's a life to lead
which people don't seem to have
that thought you know like what about
your life yeah who wants to fucking waste it
talking a retarded lawyers you know
like let's get the fuck on with it
it's weird but most people don't
have that I realize
And then I was watching a clip from The View, and they were talking about Sidney Sweeney.
And I'm like, first off, the view is comprised of women who talk about nothing, who have an audience filled with women who evidently have an never-ending supply of time to listen to women talk about nothing.
If you really think about it, Drew, that's really what it is.
See, I wouldn't...
Now, I could sit down and I could listen to Victor Davis-Hanson talk, and I would go, well, that wouldn't be a waste of my time.
You learn something.
Just like if you could resurrect Ben Franklin.
And you go, how about an hour with Ben Franklin?
You'd go, I'll pay $1,000 for that.
The view is the opposite of that.
It's five dopes who have a lot of feelings.
whose job it is is to basically, here's the thing,
you are sitting in a rowing machine with them.
You think you're in a canoe and you're going upriver.
You think you're Lewis and Clark.
You think you're going somewhere.
You're not going anywhere.
You're on a fucking rowing machine sitting in a den
with a simulation of a river in front of you.
You never move.
Well, listen to their thoughts.
about Sidney Sweeney.
Also, it's possible
to have no thoughts about things.
You know what I mean? Like, Sydney Sweeney, what do you think?
I don't know. Let her fucking, she paid taxes?
Yeah. Oh, next.
I don't care.
How does that affect me?
She's working for a gambling website.
Yeah, okay. Is it illegal?
I don't know.
How many thoughts am I supposed to have
about the blonde chick from the WNBA?
You know what I mean?
Right.
I don't know. She's blonde.
She makes her.
Leave her alone.
Yeah, I don't have...
Or the other one.
You mean the other one?
Any of them.
I just like...
Yeah.
Okay, here we go.
Here, now they're upset.
Why are they upset?
She had a...
Hold on, she didn't add for a gambling site
where she was scantily clad.
Surprise.
Surprised.
Sydney Sweeney, actress,
said her provocative new ad for a sports gambling site
was, quote,
embracing about embracing a fun idea
to cut through the noise
and put the focus on sports.
But the ad is getting backlash
from some female athletes
like surfer Felicity Palmyter.
Take a look.
Which is absolute utter disbelief.
I have no idea who she is.
Like how...
Hold on. How disappointed are you again
in Sidney, Sweeney?
You're disappointed in her?
Because here's what disappointment is.
I knew this person well.
And then it turned out
that they ended up being a racist
or embezzled from the bank we both worked at,
and I thought I knew Steve well.
Or I thought Steve well,
and then I realized that he'd assaulted his wife.
That's disappointment.
But just think how grandiose this is.
It's all grandiosity.
Either I'm disappointed or...
I need to make a video.
There's two versions of it.
I'm disappointed or I used to like you until.
I need to make a video about me being disappointed
and someone I've never met and I don't know at all.
Okay.
Now, I'm going to make a video.
Who is she?
I know what the fuck she is.
She's a female surfer that no one's heard of.
But all right, here we go.
She's disappointed.
Okay.
Here, take a look.
Just absolute utter disbelief.
Incredibly disappointing.
Like how far you know.
Hold on a second.
She can't, she has utter disbelief.
It's an utter disbelief that a big titty blonde who trades on her tits and loves money is doing a sports thing where she shows her ass.
It's utter disbelief.
Drew.
I can't believe it.
I can't believe it.
Chuck, can you believe this?
Absolutely not.
It's utter disbelief mixed with a healthy heaping portion of disappointment.
This person who I only know from showing her tits.
I only know her by her tits.
I'm utterly, it's utter disbelief and disappointment that she is showing her tits.
And here's all I know.
She loves showing her tits and when she shows her tits, she gets paid.
Oh.
And she likes to get paid.
She likes both.
She's like an entrepreneur tit owner.
She's like a small tit owner.
Not small.
I'm saying like a small business owner, large tit owner who just goes, this is how I make my money.
I jiggle my tits, but also I'm a businesswoman.
So I have my own lingerie line and I do this.
and I sell jeans and I get fucking paid a lot of money to do this stuff.
And to be fair, by the way, to have a conversation about women who trade on looks and sexuality and stuff,
okay, we'll have that conversation, but this is not what that is.
All right.
Anyway, the surfer we've never heard of, who, by the way, put makeup on before she cut the video.
I can't believe it.
Why? I'm disappointed.
Are you disappointed?
Does she put makeup on before she surfs?
I'm so disappointed in her.
But anyway, let's play it out.
at least like surfer Felicity Palmetier.
Take a look.
Just absolute utter disbelief.
Incredibly disappointing, like how far you can put women's sports backwards in the space of a 40-second commercial.
All right, let's pause for a second.
How far, I don't know, how far can you put women's sports back in a 40-second commercial?
Is there going to be WNBA games this weekend?
How did it do that?
She has no idea what the fuck she's talking about.
That's my whole point.
We're in a big, fat, circus.
of nothing.
She's not an athlete.
She's in a fucking rowing machine
and she thinks she's in a canoe.
She's talking about nothing.
She's going nowhere.
We're doing nothing.
The ladies from the view
are putting the queen of nothing
on TV so then we can then break off
and have a second conversation
about someone who knows nothing and it says nothing.
By the way, they would have to search for this person
to find, you know.
But by the way, everyone is devastated
and everyone is disappointed.
And everyone's upset.
And by the way, it hurts everything
and it sets everything back and it does damage.
This is the new era we're living in.
That's why I always said, get the fuck up and get to work and shut up, would you please?
You're not damaged.
It's not sending.
So she's a professional surfer.
Yeah.
Did they cancel the surfing tournament this weekend?
Or she's just going to go fucking do the next tournament with nothing?
Yeah.
Well, maybe they're more eyes on it because somebody's betting on it.
She set the whole thing back.
All right.
Not that I'm in favor of the betting.
The ad that we saw Sidney
do is very damaging
especially for young females. We want to be
valued for what we can do
not what we look like.
Oh yeah.
So Sydney Sweney
responded to the backlash by posting
images of Serena Williams
Rhonda Rousey and other athletes who
pose nude for magazine covers.
Now
when an athlete does it
I love it. I gotta think about it.
I'll pause it. I love
When Whoopie tries to formulate a thought, and her brain's like, eh.
Her mouth goes, now.
Then she's like, come on, Brain.
Spit something out of my mouth.
And her brain's like, you know, that fucking ship sailed years ago, bitch.
I'm not going to put anything that's good out of your mouth.
All right.
I love what she goes, now.
All right, here we go.
Rousie and other athletes who pose nude for magazine covers.
Now, when an athlete does it, it's a whole different thing because you're looking at this athlete and their athletic body and all the different muscles and stuff.
Rhonda Rouser, you start to see what her arms look like.
You know, that's an athlete.
Yeah.
You're an actor who took a gig to make some dough.
I'm not mad at you.
It's just an equity stake in this company.
I'm not, I'm not managed.
I'm not managed.
I'm not mad at you.
I will tell you this.
It's sad to me.
When you look at all the women, professional women athletes, you know, tennis players and, you know, volleyball or surfers or whatever, and they show them their nude pictures or whatever, their tasteful nudes, their physique doesn't look any different than just some skinny chick on the beach, like in general.
There's nothing there.
I mean, it doesn't manifest itself.
Oh, you're not like saying, ooh, absolutely.
athlete. No, I mean, you can, they'll show the pictures, I think, or somebody tweeted them out or whatever.
They look, they're not fat. Yeah. And they look toned. Yeah. But they don't look any different than any, I mean, they'll be taller or they'll be.
Oh, is that Rhonda Rousey? No way. No way. That's not her. I mean, here, look. Well, yeah, there was a time when that I think that was what was going on for Ronda.
I'm saying they look non-fat, they look toned, but they don't look like bodybuilders or anything.
Her first point is retarded.
You take a female tennis player, female volleyball player, female surfer.
A female surfer looks like a very fit, attractive woman in a bathing suit.
If she got off her surfboard and just walked down the beach, you'd go, there's a cute chick and a bikini.
You wouldn't go, that chick's all knotted up and muscular and everything.
But all right.
I think the prime example probably would be the beach volleyball player, right?
Because they're always in bikini and they always look like good looking, you know,
people with the bodies are in good shape.
Yeah, but listen, I would argue that if you took professional male tennis players and put them in swim trunks,
they just look like frat guys who are in good shape.
Like, you know, there's always that one guy in the frat that always working out,
always doing a shit, mountain climbing or whatever.
That's what they look like.
You don't look.
All right, anyway, let's listen to Whoopi.
But I don't think you can put yourself on equal footing with when the female athletes do.
I agree with you.
All right, hold on a second.
This weird, wild misinterpretation of everything.
I don't think you can put yourself on the same footing as a.
What does it mean?
She's, well, first off, she's playing hockey goalie.
She's playing catcher.
She's sitting on top of a basketball rim.
what do you mean on equal footing?
Like she's doing sports.
Sydney.
Yeah.
Yeah.
What do you mean on equal footing as a professional athlete?
Yeah, she's, well, I think she's meaning her images can't be put on equal footing with a professional athlete's images.
When in fact, you're saying, we just looked at them and yes, you can.
Factually, that's inaccurate.
Well, she looks toned and attractive.
Yeah, that's it.
That's it.
That's equal footing.
But no, no, I don't think that's it.
We can listen to Whoopie one more time.
She's saying you're putting yourself on equal footing.
Well, also, to be clear,
Whoopi has no fucking idea what she's saying,
so she doesn't know what she's saying.
That's why it's confusing.
It's not a good argument, yes.
All right.
We'll take quick break.
We'll get back with the view right after this.
Home Serve.

All right, so let's just listen to whatever.
Also, you know, Wolfie has a job
where she gets paid millions of dollars a year
to convey ideas.
We shouldn't be this confused when she speaks,
but here we go.
They responded to the backlash
by posting images of Serena Williams,
Rhonda Rousey, and other athletes who pose
nude for magazine covers. So she's reading this. Now she has to talk.
When an athlete does it, it's a whole different thing because you're looking at this
athlete and their athletic body and all the different muscles and stuff.
Rhonda Rouser, you saw it, whatever arms are like, you know, that's an athlete.
Yeah. You're an actor who has took a gig to make some dough. I'm not mad at you. I'm not mad at you.
But I don't think you can put yourself on equal footing with the female athletes.
I do like the yentas.
I always like, yeah, same thing.
Yeah, yeah, same thing.
I don't know what this is.
I didn't know what they're talking about.
First off, we've used sex appeal to sell things our entire nation's history.
You know what I mean?
This is a good-looking woman.
who's using her sexuality to sell something.
And it's a sports website, so she's using sports as a theme.
I'm guessing that the new age of feminism would take issue with that.
And I think that's what's underlying all this.
I don't know what, yeah, but I still not sure what Whoopie's talking about, but all right, we'll keep it going.
I agree with you, but I also think we shouldn't give Sidney, who I think has,
she's kind of, you know, figured out the formula of creating outrage and monetizing that.
through the ads, which again, you know, more power to her.
But we shouldn't give her the power to determine and define the athleticism and ability of female
acts.
All right.
How did she even get near or any of that?
I don't know what the fuck she's talking about.
Wow.
You have the two lead yentas for the view.
They both said their peace and no one knows what the fuck these bitches are saying.
That's, this is the show that dumb people.
watch who don't value their time.
But shrewd podcaster study to attack verbally.
You understand?
Yeah, I do.
It's, uh, all right.
So.
And shrewd podcaster audiences.
Head yent.
Yes.
Head yenta number one spoke her mind and nothing came out of her mind.
Head yenta number two said something.
It's still not tracking.
Let's see where we can go here.
And put yourself on equal.
thing on equal footing
when the female athletes
do that. Now she's got a point. I also think
we shouldn't give Sidney
who I think has
she's kind of, you know, figured out the
formula of creating outrage
and monetizing that through the ads
which again, you know, more power to
her, but we shouldn't give her the power
to determine
and define the athleticism
and ability of female
athlete. How exactly did, wait, wait, stop.
How exactly did Sidney
define athleticism of female athletes?
They have no idea what they're talking about.
Where did that even enter into, I'm sure that's what Siddi was thinking about.
How can I define athleticism for female?
How do we do that?
Well, she's also kind of, she's doing an age-old thing, which is sort of, she's...
Sydney.
Or, or...
Sydney, yes, I'm always talking about what you're doing.
Sorry, but she's doing what that sort of woman, beautiful,
woman wearing the man's dress shirt
kind of thing. Like she's not really
doing the female athlete
thing. She's doing a female
male athlete. They should love that.
Like that's a, yeah,
she's a mess with gender a little bit.
Like hockey goalie.
Look, if you want to do female
athlete, you could do tennis.
You would do beach volleyball.
They would put her in a bikini and put her
on the beach. She's doing male stuff.
Yeah. All right. Sorry. Keep
going. Well, but I mean,
How many men?
She posted the pictures of female athletes who'd post nude.
How about posting the pictures of male athletes?
She posted right?
But I think the bigger thing is, I think Sidney's allowed to use her sexuality however she wants.
And female athletes are allowed to be outraged that they're once again being defined by their bodies and not their talents.
But the bigger problem.
Who said that?
But wait, the bigger problem here, Denise is.
Wait, hold on a second.
Wait.
She just said, why Cindy?
Sidney Sweeney defining them.
Didn't she just say that?
She's moved off it a little bit and said it's creating a feeling in the female athletes that once again.
It's as though this is reminding them of something they've come up against.
I'll follow it.
I'll follow it.
At least she's moving away from the bad, bad logic.
Double, but I mean, how many men, she posted the pictures of female athletes who'd post nude?
How about posting the pictures of male athletes?
She posted red, but I think the bigger thing is.
By the way, she did that too.
I love the research it goes into it.
How about you post pictures of male athletes in the nude?
She did that too.
Okay, all right, good.
Do you have a segment producer on this fucking show?
Or are they just scared?
Just dudes with their junk tuck between their fucking thighs running, scared.
Bob, you got that duct tape?
Why?
Did one of the lighting grids?
No, no, I got to tape my car.
cock and balls into my asshole.
Wait, you didn't want the gaffirs tape for the lighting grid?
Well, that's down, too. But first,
I'd like to use, the tape has come loose. The double stick
where I stick my nutsack to my inner thigh.
Well, tuck it. You got to go further up with that. I got to tuck it up my ass.
So do you have any gaffer's tape? I don't want to get fired around here in the view.
You might be required to sit down across your legs. If it's in your inner thigh,
it'll give me a problem. So we got, we got O for three here. Let's keep going.
could post nude.
How about posting the pictures of male athletes?
She posted men too.
But I think the bigger thing is,
I think Sidney is allowed to use her sexuality
however she wants,
and female athletes are allowed to be outraged
that they're once again being defined
by their bodies and not their talents.
But the bigger problem to me...
But why is Sydney Sweeting defining them?
But wait, the bigger problem here to me
is that sex and celebrity
are being used to normalize gambling.
We're missing the message.
Okay, okay.
I feel like we're talking here in the part
that matters the most of me.
Sydney Sweeney's going to Sidney
She's a good business woman.
She's comfortable being naked and is going to monetize that and more power to her.
But I don't love that gambling has just become something that we're all just doing all the time, apparently.
And I read it, I looked it up, men make up two-thirds of sports betting.
So, of course, she's got an equity stake in this company.
What's the biggest way to get men to click?
Show your boobies.
I just, I don't love, though, that we've become a society that we're like, this vice that has really damaged a lot of people and hurt a lot of people is just completely.
I am a gambler.
That's all right.
I enjoy.
It's a point at least.
You don't know that.
It's a point, and it makes sense.
I don't mind that people...
Can we not watch anymore?
I think adults make decisions.
I just want to hear what...
I just want to hear whoop he's got one more point to make.
You don't know that.
You don't know.
I don't mind that people
because I think adults make decisions
for themselves and that's okay.
Everything you're saying is right
and everything we're saying at the table is right.
Sidney's doing her.
Female Fetka.
athletes are doing them.
Let everybody do each other.
But Sydney,
understand that when you,
it would be like...
Oh, listen.
I don't know.
Hold on.
Praise it.
That's her brain.
Her brain's like...
Her mouth is like...
I know her brain's got to be,
you can't do examples or metaphors would be
because nothing's going to come out of my fucking head.
Stop.
Stop.
Like, she goes, you know, it's like when...
I got nothing.
All right, she's going to give me an example.
Here you go.
Now, remember,
Whoopie's now going to summarize this whole conversation by saying, everyone's right,
including Sweeney.
She's right.
Everyone's, you do you, we'll do us.
Everyone's right.
Okay.
Why did we have this discussion if we just figured out that everyone was right at the end?
But all right, let's just, she's going to put a cap on it.
All right, here we go.
Here we go.
Face and say, I'm representing this.
Wait, you gotta go.
Sorry, you gotta go, you gotta go back.
Just use her face.
Is that she?
No, no, just listen.
It's great.
Table is right.
Sidney Sweeney is doing her.
Uh-huh.
Female athletes are doing them.
Let everybody do each other.
Okay.
But Sydney, understand that when you,
it would be like, I don't know,
an athlete trying to put on a different face
and say, I'm representing this.
I'm representing sports.
So I think what you're doing is fine, but just know why they might be a little upset
because it's taking them forever to get the respect.
So that's, I think, what they're pointed.
She doesn't know what the fuck.
She's out.
I hear what I'm saying.
If you fucking watch these cows, you're retarded, but you don't value your time.
They just wasted seven and a half minutes of everyone's day because they didn't say anything.
Now, you can go, hold on a second.
You can go, well, maybe, again, watching, listening to Ben Shapiro's podcast.
That's a waste of time or whatever.
It's like, but he, whether you agree with him or not, he's actually saying something.
Yeah.
This is, nothing is being said.
Nothing has been said.
Yeah.
Yes.
Sorry.
Andrew.
No, I get it.
It's, you know, when an athlete uses another face to do the thing that is doing the thing.
Yeah.
Like that Travolta movie with Nick Cage if we watch?
Yeah.
He's using the face to do the thing.
It makes perfect sense.
It's like a hockey face-on.
I want to hear her summation one more time.
I want to hear the part where she notifies all the other retarts at the table that they're all correct, including herself.
And then I'm going to go into an example.
You don't know.
I don't mind that people bad because I think adults make decisions for themselves and that's okay.
Everything you're saying is right.
And everything we're saying at the table is right.
Sidney Sweeney is doing her.
Female athletes are doing it.
them. Let everybody do each other. But Sydney, understand that when you, it would be like,
I don't know, an athlete trying to put on a different face and say, I'm representing this.
I'm representing sports. So I think what you're doing is fine, but just know why they might be.
I have no idea what the fuck she's talking about, but I'll tell you what I do know. I want to hear
Bert Reynolds say what she said. Yes. Yes. Bert Reynolds.
God, yes, Joey, as I live in Marie. Jesus Christ, let's go. Yes. Can never get these guys in on an
initiative. I had a Bert Reynolds initiative nine months ago. Bert Reynolds needs to say what
Whoopi is saying? Is it just whoopi or what are the other, who are the other girls at the
table that we, can we cast other ones? Or is all? You can, you can, I, all I want is
Whoopi and Bert Reynolds.
I don't want the back and the fourth.
I don't want the other Yantas.
I want all of Whoopi's dialogue turned into one long Bert Reynolds diTriot.
Yeah.
Okay?
What a dialogue that fancies itself a diTribe.
Okay?
No back and forth, Joey.
Just one long run on, Bert Reynolds, Whoopi.
Yeah.
So good.
It's so good.
Bert Reynolds should, who else should be converted?
We can't clear other voices.
No, no, no, no.
I mean, who else do we need to hear as Bert Reynolds?
Oh, well, that would require somebody doing something that no one is ever going to do.
So, you can do it yourself as well, Drew, as I always warn you.
Well, you have stuff you love Bert Reynolds.
I do.
But not enough to do a little homework.
No, no, I didn't know.
I was permitted to ask you.
I told you last time, go find it, go do it.
deputize everyone all the time. No one ever does it, but they're all deputized. They're allowed to
come in and go, hey boss, I got an idea. I hear the deputization and I will deal with that
I deputize you four months ago. I didn't understand. I didn't understand. Look, if you wanted it,
you would have done it. Let's be honest. No, no, no. We'll see it. Getting back to our initial
conversation here. Well, we are. You like Bert Reynolds. Yes. And you want to hear more of this.
Stop right there.
I didn't understand that I was being going to put a position where I could ask other people to do that on my behalf.
I did not understand that.
And I understand that.
No, no, no, no, no.
You don't understand a lot of things.
It's true.
But then there are things you want.
So when you go to a party and there's like a tray of sushi that's out.
Yeah.
But no one has gotten into it yet.
Yes.
you don't never reach for it.
You say to the host, is the sushi up?
Are we allowed to get into, because you want this thing.
You don't sit the corner, not eat and go, I didn't understand about the sushi.
You actually go say to somebody, hey, is that, can we get into that now or we wait until after dinner or whatever it is.
I don't disagree with you, but it's about a 70-30 that I would ask.
I might hold back.
I might go, no.
But you're right.
That's a good analogy.
So, Mr. Host, I'm dutifully.
Last time you were here,
right time we talked about,
we talked about finding and getting other and doing stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
But what I'm saying.
We're getting back full circle.
Yep.
You want this thing,
but who the fuck wants to go home and do homework,
basically?
Because that's what it is.
It's essentially homework.
No one wants to do homework.
Right?
Yeah.
Although that kind of shit does not bother me at all.
You say that all the time, but every single time I tell you,
go find this and go show up with that and go bring it back and go study this and go find that.
You never come back with anything, even though you're dutiful and a homework guy.
All right.
You know what I'm saying?
I don't know.
That strikes me because I don't remember that.
Well, like I've said to you, like I've said, look, if we're going to do this, going to do that.
Go home, write down like five stories from the day and come back and we'll have those stories
to get into.
You don't come back with that stuff is what I'm saying.
No, I usually do when it come in now.
Way more than I used to.
Oh, oh, way more.
Yeah.
Now.
Yeah, you have like an epiphany on your 63rd birthday or something.
Like start doing stuff.
But all right.
Everyone, you're all deputized to find this shit, if you like, except for it's never going to happen.
Because that's not one.
because that's not the era we're living in.
All right.
