Starting point is 00:00:00 Recorded live at Corolla 1 Studios with Adam Carolla and board certified physician and addiction medicine specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky. You're listening to The Adam and Dr. Drew's show. Yeah, get it on. Got dig it on on. No church is going to mandate you. Get it on. Dr. Drew's Board Surf 5.
Starting point is 00:00:22 Did just talk about it. What's going on? I've been looking for Bert Reynolds videos. It's hard for me to judge what's going to be good. You'll get nothing. No, no, no. I'm thinking what about Bert as Kamala Harris? All right.
Starting point is 00:00:38 That's good. That would be good. She had one recently where she was describing AI, and I thought, oh, this could be good. Yeah. It's either short or too long. No, it's pretty good. It's pretty when she's talking about algorithms. Yes.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Yeah. Yeah. So there is a weird kind of simplicity of thought that we're making, we're making her way Toward. And we just call that dumb? Yes. Okay. That's it.
Starting point is 00:01:05 Here's what I'm saying. Go ahead. Here's what I'm saying. And I've warned everyone about this for a long time. We're now sort of getting rid of ideas and progress and inserting feelings. And we're making gotten rid of. And we're making proclamations. And the reason I'm so keen to.
Starting point is 00:01:32 point all this stuff out is I grew up with these people. They're making proclamations about people and things and things that needed to change and while never doing anything, ever, never lifting a finger, never paying a dime and taxes. If you wouldn't mind, give me like an example, the kind of stuff that either your mother, your grandmother would declare that, because I want to get... Well, they had a micro, there was a micro and a macro. The reason I'm asking is I want to get a sense of how far we, have not come or come?
Starting point is 00:02:04 You know what I mean? Okay, the micro would be the sort of one-on-one would be me saying to my grandmother that I bought a big house, like almost an estate on top of a hill.
Starting point is 00:02:18 And her reply was, Delia doesn't have a table. Right. So that's the person to work for her. Yes. So that's her. Who she didn't buy a table for. Or didn't pay enough so she could buy a table. I don't know in this modern world who can't obtain a table.
Starting point is 00:02:37 I feel like you just go to a thrift store and for $11, you'd probably get a table, possibly for free. You walk around the hills of Glendale, Burbank. You'll see shit. How about the back over here by the freebies right here by your place? No, I'm saying there's a lot of like construction debris and junk, but when I was renting in Glendale and I'd walk around, They didn't have large item pickup or they had large items,
Starting point is 00:03:04 but there was like bookshelves and tables and chairs. Like Chris Carolla, that was, it would have been Christmas every day for her walking around, seeing everyone's junk that they discarded on the curb. But so anyway, yes, my grandmother's reply to me.
Starting point is 00:03:21 The rest of the world knows what you're describing. I know exactly what you're describing. In Los Angeles, people haul their shit out to the, not even the curb, to the grassy space between the sidewalk and the curb. And they just leave. leave it there.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Yes. And no one's going to pick it up. The city doesn't do it until somebody comes along. Eventually, something may be they can call a large item. I don't know. It's kind of a mess. It's a mess. But the point is, is my grandmother's reply to me buying a big house was some poor person
Starting point is 00:03:49 who worked for her, who was poor because they worked for her, didn't have a table. Yeah. So that, but she didn't buy her table. Yeah. So, and I didn't buy her table. So Delia still doesn't have a table. table. She has to eat standing up. Like you and I do. Yeah, that was the micro version. And I guess the macro version is more about
Starting point is 00:04:11 the indigenous people. That's a rich man, poor man. Eating standing up. Yes. And yeah, and then the other one, you know, the indigenous people and slavery and what we did and stuff, stolen land and stuff. That's their bigger thing. Now, again, they don't correct any of this or fix any of it, and they don't offer a plan toward getting Dealia a table. Well, that's the part I... But listen, I'll talk to my grandmother's ghost. Do you want Dealia to have a table or not? No, they want...
Starting point is 00:04:41 They don't care. They don't care. Yeah, want me to feel bad for living in a big house. Yeah. That's the plan. But my... So if you're interested in Dealia having a table, then you would buy her a table. So I've been listening to this rhetoric for a while now, and obviously...
Starting point is 00:04:57 By the way, I... I said into a microphone, I'm a millionaire, literally a millionaire. In 1997? You want to know why I was saying that? No. I was telling these people to fuck off. Yes. I was saying, I'm not pretending.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Yes. The big problem is people pretended. Yes. And they were scared. And they went, no, I don't have anything. No, I'm not. I don't, yeah, no, I'm poor like you. My answer is there's been fuck off.
Starting point is 00:05:24 I'm a millionaire and you're dumb. Now, if you want to start doing what I'm doing, Maybe you could be a millionaire, but I'm not going to sit here and listen to you and your fucking bullshit. And by the way, good luck making me feel bad. Right. Good fucking luck. I think people have probably heard that one. Good fun.
Starting point is 00:05:40 No one's poor. No one's dumber. No one come from dumber poor people who had less done for them than me. So good fucking luck. Mr. I got an orange mountain bike over there. Highfalutin, dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:54 I'm looking at you, Chuck. No mountain bikes in this man's history. What did I do? Orange or not. Oh, nothing. Mountain bikes. Nothing with the word bike. The unicycle I bought and then my mom gave it away.
Starting point is 00:06:06 He was so poor, his bikes had one wheel. One wheel. What color was it? Chrome. It's chrome, thank you. I'm fucking retired. But I've, you know, listening to this rhetoric for a long time now. And I'm wondering at what, it's, it's, It's violence and usurpation of property all the way down.
Starting point is 00:06:35 All the way down to pre-human civilization. What do you mean? I mean that every society that we know of, we know of it because they usurp somebody else's land or stuff. Oh, yeah, yeah, sure, right. Every single one, 100%. Look, it's like slavery. It just is. It's everywhere.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Listen, I don't understand why people don't focus in on the reconstruction in the South because that was the horror story. But, okay. One of the worst, the biggest horror story, in my humble opinion. But the fact that we somehow stop at a certain point of history is what I find confusing. I mean, the Comanche, go look at the Comanchees. And some of the, the Iroquois, these gentle natives. That's in harmony with the land. Yeah, they did.
Starting point is 00:07:30 And they were violent as F. They were super violent, and they conquered all their native compatriots. Yes. And raped and pillaged. Yeah, yeah. So I don't understand. I don't understand. Look, there's a thing going on.
Starting point is 00:07:45 I think there's a basically, I think there's a, we had Kamala up there. I know. I wanted to hear that. All right. Well, let's hear, let's hear Kamala talk about it. Before we do, I just want to say, I, I, I'm sort of from the Stephen Pinker world of it's good now. Let's just be grateful that we got to this point where people are not as violent.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And we are looking at national borders and sustaining them and not being super. And that nuclear sort of the threat of nuclear annihilation is working to keep people less violent. Yes. All right. Here's Kamala and Big Boy. Oh, that's Big Boy. They're trying to dumb people down with the assumption that people don't have any interest beyond what they've already seen. Think about that.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Oh, yeah, the algorithm. Right, but the algorithm suggesting I have no more interest because I'm looking at this yellow flower. I'm only interested in yellow flowers. So here's more yellow flowers. As though my brain can't handle the fact that there may be a pink flower. Right, right. That I might be interested in looking at. This is a good bird.
Starting point is 00:08:44 Right. And so part of it is understanding how the algorithm is manipulating us and figuring out how we're going to psych it out a bit. All right. Well, maybe a little bird for that. Let's turn that to a bird, please. Whatever, it keeps going. I actually hadn't seen this part. Oh, you had?
Starting point is 00:09:02 Well, you had? She just talked about the flower. No, I saw something a little later. And it's all good bird. It's all, trust me, it's all good bird, especially with that piece. Oh, I do. I'll tell you what I want. There is a Kamala from that same clip.
Starting point is 00:09:14 I wrote it down from that same interview where she's talking about feeling powerful. And this is better than the flower. Than the flower. Well, I'll tell you why. Let's do a couple of them. This is the gift that keeps on giving. Yeah, right. Joey's got fish to fry over there, man.
Starting point is 00:09:33 There's a one about her power. So it encapsulate. So what I'm saying is we are talking about everything now, but we're not doing anything, but we're talking about everything. And it's something that's bothered me for a long time. And so what Kamala wants to do, she wants to talk about it. She wants to talk about everything, but nothing, you know, she's talking about when you have power and you feel your power, then you are powerful. You know, these sort of things where it's like, first off, I don't know that we need to figure out whether we're powerful or not.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I think we need to figure out whether we're like efficient. Effective. Effective. All right. Let's listen to Kamala talk about being powerful. we lose our power I do believe that when you feel powerless
Starting point is 00:10:32 you are powerless and when we feel powerful we are powerful oh okay all right all right so she doesn't talk about anything no now that's fine for a lot of people
Starting point is 00:10:51 the real question is why don't people know she doesn't talk about anything. That's the bigger question. I'm going back to gyno-fascism here. I think this woman, this is for dopey women. And dudes who think like chicks, but this is chick-think. This is a hundred percent chick-think care. I don't know what else to call it. She talks and talks and talks about nothing in a circle. And by the way, it's one thing to never do anything and just talk, but you could be profound. Sure.
Starting point is 00:11:26 You know what I mean? Yeah. But she does nothing and just talks and is not profound at all. And really, it's all kind of harmful. I don't think people understand how harmful this empowerment talk is and about how we should be. It goes with pride, right? Yeah, it's like, it's like you should be afraid. You should be fearful.
Starting point is 00:11:48 We're all fearful. We're all fear. But we need to stand up. We need to push back. And it just gets translates into middle-aged white women fighting ice guys and then getting knocked down and going, what's happening? Like, we're really at some sort of critical mass, nut job, whatever. But the problem is, is people don't call these people out. And they should have been doing it all along.
Starting point is 00:12:13 What I'm saying is 30 years ago when I would say, I'm a millionaire, literally a millionaire. Everyone else was retreating going like, I'm just blessed, I'm lucky, it's all luck, you know. I always go fuck, yeah, I would go fuck luck. No, stop talking about luck. I work hard. You know, it's not about luck. Oh, it's just luck.
Starting point is 00:12:33 I didn't have anything, you know, when my parents didn't have anything. I didn't have anything. I didn't know what I mean? Yes. And tuning themselves down. Now what I said is stand up, own it, and then tell people, hey, if you want to get your shit together, it's not luck.
Starting point is 00:12:49 By the way, it's luck. All right. So evidently, you don't have any luck. So what are we going to do about that? You can't do anything about luck, can we? Yeah. We could do something about hard work, but we're not luck. So I guess you're fucked.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Or whatever, or systemic oppression, whatever fucking nonsense you're peddling. Anything other than get the fuck up and go to work and shut up. Right. Which is all I've ever said. And everyone is just peddling pure victimhood all day, every day. And the group you're pedaling it to is falling further behind. Right. It's not helping anybody.
Starting point is 00:13:24 No, it doesn't. How can it help it? Unless you have a plan. Yeah. I don't know what the plan is. Your plan is to tell people you got lucky and they're victims. Well, it's interesting. I interviewed Lindy Lee last week.
Starting point is 00:13:37 She's a former Democratic operative. Been on. She's on your show. Yes. On this show? She's on your show. Yes? Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Yeah. And. Sorry for not being that clear. No, that's fine. because I did a thing with her in Florida, and that's all I remember doing. But she was saying that one-on-one, Kamala Harris isn't quite like that.
Starting point is 00:14:00 She's like an episode of Veep. It definitely sounds like an episode of Veep when you hear what her sort of, her staffers were like and how she would lose her shit and, you know, yell at people. Oh, look, anybody, look, it's Ellen dancing. Anybody with the fake laugh and all that kind, who talks about being kind to people all the time
Starting point is 00:14:18 and lifting people up. So he's a fucking bitch behind the scenes. Always. For sure. By the way, the guys who are dickheads like me are exactly the same behind the scenes. Constantly a dickhead. It all of a set. I don't ratchet up, my dickhead.
Starting point is 00:14:34 Adam's nicer in real life. Oh. No, he's quieter. He's not nicer. He's not talking. I found my fucking sunglasses a minute ago in the door thing with the note, another shit you put in there, Andrew. I just asked him,
Starting point is 00:14:51 you see my songlider? Nope. No, I did not. Borrow my car. All right, go ahead. I get my car to fill up, sorry. But even Lindy's thing was she doesn't,
Starting point is 00:15:01 she couldn't, how everyone was aware how pathetic her speaking style is and how they couldn't understand. Like, what is, like, she wouldn't take any direction and she couldn't be coached and people were afraid of her.
Starting point is 00:15:13 And she said something interesting. I was asking like, where does all the, you know, the gender stuff come from in the Biden White House, she said all staffers, 100% of her staffers were gender, whatever, and gay. Pushing the agenda.
Starting point is 00:15:28 But living it. They were in it. What do you mean? They were gay or gender. Oh, right, right. Right. And that Biden had that going on in his group, too, not quite the way Kamala did. Yeah, I mean, it's, first off, she's a DEI hire.
Starting point is 00:15:45 I mean, she is, listen, everybody. she is a poster child for why DEI is a bad idea and how you fuck yourself with the EI. I'll explain right after this break. Hello and welcome to Pluto Fo. If you know the name of the movie you'd like to see, just stream it for free on Pluto TV. Where all your blockbuster favorites are landing all summer long. Catch Anchorman, the legend of Ron Burgundy. Fantastic.
Starting point is 00:16:18 The Matrix Trilogy. Welcome to the real world. Mean girls. Shut up. Titanic. I'm the king of the world. And so much more. For showtimes, press nothing.
Starting point is 00:16:28 They're free 24-7. That is so fetch. On Pluto TV. Stream now. Pay never. All right. So Kamala Harris is a poster child for DEI and why it doesn't work and why it's not good for society.
Starting point is 00:16:42 But it's also not good for the people who institute it. It's good for Kamala. How does she get to be vice president? I don't, yeah, kind of, but I don't even know if it's good for her. So let's break it down. I guess some of us wouldn't want to be in a position we didn't earn, but, yeah. Okay. She's a DEI hire.
Starting point is 00:17:02 How do we know? Well, how do we know? Because Joe Biden announced it. He said, I'm looking to get a vice president who's a woman of color. Okay. Now it's a DEI hire. Let's put it to you this way. If Kamala Harris wasn't a woman and or a woman of color, would she be vice president?
Starting point is 00:17:21 Not with her skill set. Yeah, no, would be the answer. No, and not with her skill set. The answer would just be no. Okay, so she's a DEI hire. So they DEI hired her so Joe could do it ceremoniously. You know what I mean? Have you been to the border?
Starting point is 00:17:37 I haven't been to the border. You've been to the border? I'm going to the border. Maybe. I don't know if she ever been to the border. It's a ceremony. She's ceremonial. Then they take a woman of color and they trot her around.
Starting point is 00:17:48 And then she speaks. And when she speaks, she sounds dumb. Why does she sound dumb? Well, she's not supposed to be there. It'd be the same thing. If I just said, hey, I'm going to take your daughter and I'm just going to make her head coach for the New York Giants. Right. And then they'll be oppressor.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Right. And they'll start talking about cover three and not going for two when the playbook said go for two with that critical motion and stopping the clock and moving the change. and your daughter would stand there and she'd sound dumb because she doesn't know the subject. We shoved her into the spot. She didn't work her way up through the college coaching ranks and any of that bullshit. So then Kamala comes across as bad
Starting point is 00:18:28 because she's not supposed to be there because she's a DEI hire. But she's been an attorney general, she's been a senator. A lot of that's DEI too. But still, you would think that that training would translate into something. It might, first,
Starting point is 00:18:43 you. It doesn't for her. She's not listening to anyone. So then Joe Biden, by the way, I love the fact that the I love looking at the tapes of the cheap fakes. Those are just edits of Joe Biden looking out of it. Yeah, I know. Yes, it is. It's not the entire concert on the lawn of the White House. That's three hours. This is two minutes where he looks out of it. Yes. Or he wanders away.
Starting point is 00:19:11 I say to people all the time, Pete Diddy smack in his girlfriend by the elevator is just a snippet of a tape that rolls every day 24 hours a day. So would you like to see the other families that are getting into the elevator and going down to the coffee shop? I don't know. I don't need context. I see a surveillance tape.
Starting point is 00:19:32 I see 90 seconds of it. Is that a cheap fake? I mean, should P. Did he make the argument? Come on, man. That's just a tape. That's just a snippet. You didn't see the whole thing of the empty hallway for hours. They invented pulling videos out of context that changed the meaning of the videos.
Starting point is 00:19:49 So they're claiming that same thing here. But, okay, so it's a cheap bank, except for it's Biden falling down something or whatever. Fine. All right. So then Biden goes away, and now you got Kamala Harris, and now they shove her in, and she's such a dope because she's a DEI hire that she can't win the campaign, spends $100 billion. and is gone. And it'll never be, and by the way, what I said the whole time, it's really, went like, she didn't have enough time for people.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Oh, no, she had ample time. How much time do you need when you go to a dinner party and you start talking to some guy and he's clearly a dope? You need three or four dinner parties or the 10 minutes you talk to him enough for you to go, that guy's a fucking dope, and you walk to the other side of the party? How much time do you need? How much time do you need to find out someone is fascinating and riveting and sharp? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:20:40 10 minutes, boom, that guy's smart. That guy knows who he's talking. I mean, it doesn't sit next someone on an airplane for an hour. You go, oh, that guy's got it going on. Or that guy's a dope. So, no, we did not need more time. We needed less time. They needed to hide her like they hid Biden in the basement.
Starting point is 00:20:55 The problem was they pushed her out. She couldn't handle it because she's a dope, but she's a DEI hire. And now she exposed herself. And now we know who she is. And you say maybe good for her, but she can't run for president. she can try, but she ain't going to win because she's a dope, because we now have hours and hours of her talking into a microphone. So, DEI hire, everyone, that's it. And by the way, those who love the DEI hires, the Democrats, you got fucked in the ass by your own DEI Hire.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Trump is the president because you guys made a DEI hire. That's it. If you had put somebody in that position that was competent and what have you, that person may be the president. today. All right. So what again? It'd be interesting to talk to Big Boy. He's a bright guy and quick.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Nobody, but nobody actually gets into it with Kamala Harris. Well, I noticed that he's kind of supporting her. And they sit there and they just nod, nod, nod. But I understand, you know, when, if you're of a position that you're going to treat a guest like a guest, you're going to be going, oh, man, we're getting lost here. How can I help this chick? Yeah. But I don't know. Then why doing an interview, though?
Starting point is 00:22:12 You know what I mean? Like, what do we need? What do we learn about Kamala Harris in any of these interviews? Or Joe Biden? Someone's celebrating a birthday. Come on now. What ice cream you like, Joe? Did we learn anything from any of these fucking interviews?
Starting point is 00:22:27 No. Yeah. Andrew rightfully writes on the screen that Javier Bacera right now, you know, for governor, California, they're hiding him. He's a dope, and they don't want him talking in it. It's a weird thing. We have, you know, you got Kamala Harris, you got Joe Biden, you got Javier Bouser, you got a bunch of fucking dopes. And their own party's like, that guy can't talk into a microphone.
Starting point is 00:22:51 But we'd like him to be the governor, California, of course. But we can't let them talk into a microphone. I mean, they just, these are just empty vessels. They stand up and manipulate around as they wish. Yes, yes, yes. That's nice. That's nice that we've come to this. Yes, Andrew.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Why do you think she's being interviewed? Why, Kamala? Oh, Kamala's running. I mean, she's going to run. She thinks she's running. She thinks she's running. The Democrats are like, first off, she's used up. I mean, we saw, we sampled her hickory farms, summer sausage platter, and we didn't like what we tasted last time.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Yeah. So she thinks she's running. The Democrats are like, no. And I probably say the same for Biden. Sorry. Probably say the same for Newsom. Really? Well, I think he thinks he's running.
Starting point is 00:23:45 The Democrats are, this guy's a dope who ruined California. So what are they going to do? Bring a O.C. up or one of these DSA people? Yeah, yeah, yeah. A DSA candidate? Oh, I think so. For president? Well, by then, yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Oh. I think so. All right, what else are you thinking about it? Wait a minute. Tell me more about that, because that's kind of wild. Don't you think? I think they're going to throw it all behind AOC. AOC.
Starting point is 00:24:10 And they're going to do a big push for like first woman of color kind of president, Latina, whatever. That's going to be their whole thing. Who else is that? AOC's at 19% right now. She's ahead of polymarket. 19% probable or 90%? What is the 19% of what? That's her percentage of getting the nod.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Of getting the candidacy. Okay. Who else in that list? Gavin Newsom and John Ossif. That's it. I don't know who the third guy is. I don't know John Ossif. I mean, I've heard the name.
Starting point is 00:24:43 Kamile Harris at 6%. Josh. The Democrats can't hire. They can't get a Jew in there. Sorry, Chuck, but that's fucking funny. These fucking people. Yeah, we all hate Jews, so. The Democrats do.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so they can't. He's unelectable because he's a Jew in the Democratic Party. You know, I heard somebody saying some podcast or something was saying that anti-Semitism is not just about this racism that goes out of control. It's about an anti-West sediment. And it's sort of the bellwether. It's sort of the first indicator of anti-West movement, anti-democratic movements. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:31 And that you should listen to it not just because of the, you know, the horrors that. can be perpetrated, but that it's a sign that something more substantial is going on in terms of attack on the Occidental system. I agree. And I don't know. I get confused about what you're supposed to do to fight that off. I don't accept to insist upon your freedoms. I mean, what else can you do?
Starting point is 00:25:56 Oh, well, okay. So they hate Jews because Jews are successful. And by the way, that's why Jews do not talk about money. Yeah, no, the Jews are A long time ago. Jews are quiet Yeah. Jews are like, let's just quietly
Starting point is 00:26:13 make our money and let all the Schwartzes fight together. Keep a fuck. But black people hate Jews because Jews are successful. They used to be together. I know, but they, how, how, you blame everything on slavery.
Starting point is 00:26:28 That was 150 years ago. Jews don't blame anything on the Holocaust that was half that time ago or less. So that's why blacks don't like Jews. I've told you that a million times. No one wants to talk about it. But it's all Jews are successful and the world hates them.
Starting point is 00:26:45 And they live in a ashtray filled with unsuccessful animals and they're successful. And they hate them for it. Well, that's how it works. Yeah, one of the things I find interesting about the ashtray that no one asks, why doesn't anybody get pissed at Egypt for not opening their border with Palestine? Egypt knows who Palestinians are, and they have a 30-foot wall covered with barbed wire that's like no Palestinians coming over here. I understand. But why are people pissed at that?
Starting point is 00:27:14 Because that's brown-on-brown crime. You need someone who's supposed to be white or at least not brown. Listen, if you're looking for consistency, you're not going to find it from these people. Yes, of course. Of course. The whole hulk, you know, river to the sea shit, I mean, they're all nuts. The genocide thing is nuts. Obviously, if Israel wanted to commit genocide on Palestinians, they'd all be gone by Thursday.
Starting point is 00:27:44 So I don't know what kind of genocide drops off food, you know, and shit like that. It's all nuts. But by the way, Drew, they're nuts and there's no dealing. You have to move out. Yeah, but what about when nut gets in charge? You still have to just go to Florida, Texas, and make your own enclave. That's all. Make your own enclave.
Starting point is 00:28:06 That's it. Make your own cult. Make your own cult, because they are nuts. And they don't even know what they're talking about. I mean, I don't know. Yeah, I guess. I, I. It makes me worry that it's kind of always been a little bit like this, you know, politics.
Starting point is 00:28:21 Well, no, the narcissism thing is, is off, is what has gotten loose. Egypt and Gaza Strip is currently open for highly restricted limited. Yeah, I understand it's not completely closed. It's that it is barbed wired off. You can't you can't just move between Palestine and Egypt. Yeah, well, Egypt's not taking Palestinians. Right, right. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Now, so yes, there is a, there is something, it's narcissism. It's all narcissism. That's what we're, that's what we're into right now. line, or it's all kind of narcissistic disorders generally. I don't know, you know, making a proclamations about Palestine, something you know nothing about. And by the way, go over there and go get beheaded. Have fun. I mean, borderline is about unregulated emotions.
Starting point is 00:29:17 It's about exaggeration. It's about everything's relational. It all kind of sounds like what we're doing, right? Yeah. Okay. Well, I don't know. Maybe borderlines are all... They're narcissists, too.
Starting point is 00:29:29 It's a narcissists. disorder, don't mistake. But it's, it's, what I was telling you the other day is that you and I talked to tens of thousands of childhood trauma survivors on Loveline across a long period, years, across years. What, every second call was traumatized, was abandoned, neglect, alcohol, drug addict parents, sexually abused, physically abused, you name it. We talk to it regularly. Those people that have those experiences are now adult. That was 30 years ago, right? We were talking to late teens primarily.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Yep. So those are now 50-year-olds and 45-year-olds. Yep. Who's got the megaphones yelling at ice? That's them. Okay? All right, sorry. Andrew.
Starting point is 00:30:17 I think there's Kamala the same thing she was just at. I think she's talking about hope maybe there's in there. But also Federman and his leg cross, which I find fascinating. Can you wait to we see it or will it be self-evident? Wait the picture, whatever the leg cross is. No, I mean, now we're going to. It'll be self- yeah. Well, when you see it, you'll know what it is.
Starting point is 00:30:43 That's what I'm wondering. Okay. Well, no, I'm, I'm. You think he commented on leg crossing? No, I'm wondering if I'm going to see evidence of chick leg crossing or evidence of a dude crossing. Well, that's why we see a picture of him leg crossing. of him leg crossing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:31:01 There you go. This ball's hanging out. That is a dude. That is a dude. Right? That's how he crosses legs. That's how I cross my legs. He's got shorts on.
Starting point is 00:31:14 He's airing his nuts sack out. He's airing grievances and sack. It's fantastic. He's airing grievance and sack. God, I met him at the Bill Maher thing in Washington, C. He could not have been a more. engaging nice, humble dude. Yeah, so. And huge.
Starting point is 00:31:32 He's huge. Like, bigger than you think he is. So he is crossing his legs and he's not presenting to anybody. Now, Newsom and Obama and all them, they have to present. Yeah. Right? Yeah, yeah. As sort of female adjacent sort of down with the whatever. So they're presenting.
Starting point is 00:31:55 He's not present. Break this down for me. So, so, all right. But to me, this kind of leg crossing is a little, there's different kinds of dude leg crossing. I'll tell you what I mean after the break. All right. We'll take a break. We're right back.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Bet Online. Hey, this is Adam Carolla from the Adam Carolla show. The next big football moments, well, they're waiting for you at bet online. And every moment is yours. Visit bet online today and discover where the action. never stops. So Trump is technically doing leg crossing when he puts the diamond.
Starting point is 00:33:04 No, he doesn't... Because his legs never cross otherwise. Well, then he doesn't cross his legs. Maybe we should categorize it as what men do with their legs. I'm saying that this leg crossing is like a casualness that men do when they're talking.
Starting point is 00:33:23 It's the only way across my legs. Yeah. I only cross my legs just on. it out usually. I don't wear basketball trunks, the speak engagements, and then open my crotch up. But I sit like that. If I cross my legs, that's how I cross it.
Starting point is 00:33:38 I think he's sitting back, though, too. I mean, he's a very, he's a very casual. Everything's casual. Yeah, I get it. Like, this should be like talking about a football game. Right? Well, yeah. I mean. I saw last Sunday. I'm not taking aim at him in any way. I'm just saying that's how to do it when he's talking about
Starting point is 00:33:55 the Rams game last night. Well, no, you mean what you're, hold on, Drew. What you're saying is, it's like he's in his living room talking about. I don't care what you're talking about. You're not supposed to be on stage hanging your balls out. I mean, if you're on stage talking about the Rams. You're saying he's not supposed to be. And I'm saying, no, no, it's okay.
Starting point is 00:34:18 It's just how he, you know, it's how he rolls. Everything is like that. Yeah, I, but you see, what I'm saying, Drew, yeah. You're picking subject matter. Like, oh, if he was talking about the Rams, then that's the way he should sit. But no, not. No, no, in his living room. No, no, I went in his living room.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Sorry, sorry, sorry. I mean, a couple of dudes talking about football games. Yeah, sitting in their living room, not on stage. Yeah. Okay. So he crosses legs like a dude, and that's the way I cross my legs. And I don't cross my legs any other way. And I feel wildly uncomfortable when I put one knee on top of the other knee.
Starting point is 00:34:54 but my argument is when you see Obama do it and you see Newsome, Newsom goes hard as hard as he can. He leans with it. Right, but they only, they do it on stage in front of people. When they're sitting, when Obama's eating dinner, he doesn't cross his legs all the way that way, neither does Newsom. And when they do podcasts and things that, like where it's not being filmed or something, they sit normally.
Starting point is 00:35:21 It's when they get in front of a group that they sit. it that way, and the pussy from the New York Times who interviews them sits that way, because that person is saying it's safe here. I sit like a chick, too. Now, you used to give me shit about that in 1997. Yes, because Drew sits like a chick. And the reason I think I've explained this to you before. No, no, I would do it with intention because it would help me sit upright in the freaking
Starting point is 00:35:50 chairs we were stuck with. And so in terms of looking at a camera and sitting forward, if I'd cross my legs like that, I'd be like completely slouched down. No. You know, if I'd done it like... No one believes you. I should have not crossed my legs. You never said.
Starting point is 00:36:06 You just go, that's how I crossed my legs. That's all you all right said. Well, I probably started by saying that was defensive, I'm sure. No, Drew. I wasn't used to be very chick-centric. That's true. That is true. He used to want chicks to rule the world.
Starting point is 00:36:19 That's true. He used to be champion women all the time now. Yep, look what I got. I reaped what I sowed. I told you, I told it wasn't a good idea. Well, let's think about that. Drew wanted all the stuff that's bad. He wanted more diversity.
Starting point is 00:36:35 He wanted all the shit that's ruining our society. So riddle me this. Is there a way, those are not, hang on, hang on. This guy's laughing. Why is that funny? What's funny about Drew wanting all the things that are bad for society? Did I cop to it? He cops do it.
Starting point is 00:36:53 Yeah. No, just the light crossing to help posture is a funny. That's a fun pivot. Go sit like that sometime. You'll see, I'm going to take you back to the couch, and I'm going to show you what I'm talking about. Because we had these big fucking chairs we were sitting in. All right. Take them to the woodshed.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Tell them, show them what you're talking about. All right. That chair that he's in, the Federman's in, I wouldn't need to do that. I have a loveline chair. Back here? In my house. Oh, yeah. Do you know that?
Starting point is 00:37:21 Yeah. I did know you guys. got one of the chairs, yeah, or both of them even, didn't you? No, I got one of them. Yeah. They were all damaged. Of course. But I got it re-chromed and fixed it and welded it and like re-covered it.
Starting point is 00:37:32 It had to be welded. It was in bad shape. Yeah, but I actually, oh, I have a man show chair and a love line chair. Should be in the Smithsonian. Right next to Archie Bunker. Yeah. All right. So, wait a minute.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Forget about Lake Crossing. No, no, no. So riddle me this. Yes. Is those are the things that I was champion. are not intrinsically bad things. They're intrinsically good things. Yes.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Is there a way these things could not have gone bad? No. Like what was I seeing that I missed? Well, if you have, um... I may have liked this tweet, Andrew, a few days back, but maybe it's just on the internet. It's sort of like, I think it's Macy Hirono, but maybe it's not. Maybe it's just a black woman, senator or something. But she's talking to some guy from Trump.
Starting point is 00:38:22 whatever and she's like, don't you think that your office should reflect the diversity of the? And he's like, we just want the best people. And she's like, but shouldn't it reflect the diversity? And he's like, we want to hire the most qualified people. And that'll mean there'll be some diversity, but we're going for the most qualified. And she's like, but don't you want, it's like, listen, dumb shit, this is what got us into trouble. This don't you want. I don't need the fire department to reflect anything.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Do you? How about this, Drew? Are you ready? I'm ready. Andrew. You have been with me on the rebuilds for Malibu, all up and down the coast, proudly, and I would say courageously. going up and down the coast and chronicling the build.
Starting point is 00:39:27 We have now seen many different crews. We've seen framing crews and demo crews and all through the foundation and now all the way through the framing and the, you know, caissons and all that kind of stuff. Am I exaggering when I say it's 100% Hispanic? No. It's 100%.
Starting point is 00:39:50 It's 100. Yeah. I was looking at the one crew, it had about 20 people on it. It's 100% Hispanic. Yeah. There was one, I saw one white dude who was like 19. Or I think he was, well, he looked like. Actually, it was like 17 or something.
Starting point is 00:40:07 And I just said to like one of the guys. Now, the architect's a white guy and the engineer's a white guy. And the, you know, deputy inspector is a white guy. Oh, by the way, zero black people. zero zero 100% zero and what is that
Starting point is 00:40:27 I'll tell you in a minute it's 100% Hispanic and then one or two white guys the hefe walking around on occasion but they're not even there you could walk you could go to 10 different job sites and never see a white guy
Starting point is 00:40:42 it's all Hispanic but I did see one white guy and I said what's that guy doing here and the guy said that's a boss's son and I said Okay. Now I know because I had to ask because he shouldn't have been there.
Starting point is 00:40:55 The pattern. Pattern problem. Well, explanation. Yeah. I saw a broken pattern. I asked it was an issue. Yeah. Okay. Why did my ex-wife go clean the scuff off her Jaguar that I bought her?
Starting point is 00:41:07 Because one of the East Street members was in town and she was picking them up in the airport. Pattern broken. See, I told her to do it 10 times. She never did it. But now she's doing it on her own. Pattern. Just study patterns, people. So you can have an explanation.
Starting point is 00:41:21 for everything, right? Okay, it's 100% Hispanic. What is Malibu? The demographic makeup of Malibu. It's zero Hispanic. Hispanic people do not live in Malibu. A couple of black people, you know, Jay-Z and Beyonce. And then white, you know, maybe some Asian.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Byron Allen, lives in Malta, has a house of Malta. Whatever. There's no Hispanic. Doesn't exist. Okay. shouldn't do people building that house represent the community?
Starting point is 00:41:56 What about the community, Drew? Do you want this people, these people? These people all pack up and go back to Silmar on the other side of hill and live an apartment. That's what they do? But what about the community, Drew? Shouldn't they represent?
Starting point is 00:42:10 Or should we just have people to know how to frame, fucking frame, and then get paid? And then go live where the fuck they want to live. Can afford to live. Is that okay? That's okay.
Starting point is 00:42:20 It's not problematic. Chuck, as a Jew, not problematic that there's no Jew on any of those construction sites ever. I'm fine with it. You're okay with it? But what about representation? Hold on. I will bet you there's some Israelis on those construction sites.
Starting point is 00:42:39 No. No. No, I know what you're saying. We have our sort of domesticated North American Jew versus a weaponized Jew and Israel. the Kraw-Magaw, whatever guy. The Krav-Megh. They're the fighter Jews. Yeah, the fire.
Starting point is 00:42:54 That's hairy-formed Jews. Yeah, but no, those don't. They don't, Andrew, you see a Jew. Have you seen a Jew on all the sites? Not yet. Not yet. No. Now, we talked to a Jew who was running the site.
Starting point is 00:43:09 The guy bought a sushi, Andrew. I think that guy, that guy could have been Jewish. But he bought the land. Yeah, the contract. Well, he wasn't the kind. I mean, he's the developer. The developer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:23 Okay. So, all right, they don't represent. Why know black people? What? First off, if Maxine Waters or Karen Bass, if I heard one of those bitches say, there's way too many black guys. They're joining gangs.
Starting point is 00:43:42 They're dropping out of school. We need to get them some vocational training. We should get them young when it's, clear. They're not going to Harvard. Get them at 15 or 16. Let's really teach them some codes, teach them vocational training. When they get out of high school, they can go print this on these jobs. We have to rebuild Los Angeles. We have to rebuild Al-Tadena. We have to rebuild the Palisades. We have to rebuild. There's lots of building jobs. Lots. Oh, fuck, they can move to Vegas and build. But either way, we got to get these guys trained up. We got to get them out of the
Starting point is 00:44:14 inner city. We've got them out of the gangs. And we got to get them on their feet. And they'll start making pretty good, pretty good wage, you know, like 30 bucks an hour, like as an apprentice and have somebody. If Karen Bass ever said that, my head would explode. I would fall to the ground and weep. Sees. Instead, she just wants to talk about the unhoused people are unhoused because the income inequality or something. By the way, okay, let's just say it is income inequality. I'll go with you.
Starting point is 00:44:46 What are you going to do? and the answer is nothing because you can't. You could talk about this, but you don't. And Maxine Waters, her district should be, those people are on job sites because they're poor. It's because their dad didn't go to Harvard and they didn't go to Harvard. But they learned a trade, they show up every day to work, and they get paid. And they're pretty content.
Starting point is 00:45:11 And they just work. And it's fine. And there's not one black face ever. Ever. Ever. Oh, wait a minute. One black guy. Where? When we went to Body by Jake's house in the Palisades and had a crew of about 30, there's one black guy.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Okay. One out of a potential of hundreds and hundreds. And by the way, those are job sites we go to. You just drive up and down PCH. Just drive the whole thing. There's no black person working. So good job. Somebody.
Starting point is 00:45:50 Also, they, you know, they think of it as like slave work or some shit. Whatever. It needs to be fixed, is what I'm saying. When you travel, the country, as I do, you will see black crews. I said that's a Southern California thing. Yes, zero. It is zero. Okay.
Starting point is 00:46:08 Now, I don't know. Karen Bass could bring it up. It's not racist. It'd be helpful. Yeah. But. Remember? Is there something?
Starting point is 00:46:17 some tape of her talking about that somewhere. No, no, no, no. Okay. If we could find it, we would. We're going to see you fall on the ground or weep. Let's listen to our Macy Hirono talk. It's a hearing for judicial nominees confirmation. If confirmed, do you intend to make an effort to hire law clerks from diverse backgrounds?
Starting point is 00:46:37 Senator, if I'm fortunate enough to be confirmed, I will hire law clerks based on what I've done before is hire based on merit. I will hire the best qualified regardless of their background. So having a diverse group of clerics, for example, is not a priority for you? A senator, again, regardless of their backgrounds, I hire the best qualified and the ones who can do the job, whatever their background is. She's such a dope. By the way, hold on. I'll say I once and say it again. She's dumb by Hawaiian standards, and that ain't easy to do.
Starting point is 00:47:16 that ain't easy. Are you guys familiar with Adam's problems with Hawaii? Okay. I've had problems. Not that he has an opinion about, they have been very unhappy with Adam. He's not welcome in the islands, although you were just there. I was greeted like MacArthur returned to the Philippines. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Okay. Yeah. I find it ironic that the, I find it ironic that the dopeiest person in government is from Hawaii. That's all. I find it ironic. All right. Sorry, is there any more of this? The ones who can do the job, whatever their background is.
Starting point is 00:48:01 From Mr. Coker. You've worked in the U.S. Attorney's offices in four different states, plus Puerto Rico. Do you think the federal judiciary should reflect the communities it serves? All right. Hold on. All right, this is enough. How's what I'm saying? You just want to talk about race.
Starting point is 00:48:19 And also, this is racist thinking. The racist thinking is if a guy was white and a black guy wanted justice, he couldn't, he wouldn't do it for him because he's a white guy. You know what I mean? Or a woman, you know, a dude would never do anything fair for a woman because she's a woman or whatever. Like, you have to have your own people so someone can do their job. So the guy's framing the house in Malibu, they're not going to do a good job because there's not a Mexican moving in. right or you just do your fucking job
Starting point is 00:48:55 it's so racist it's insane yeah all right uh casper that's right ralto Wyoming
Starting point is 00:49:04 yovina casper got two shows Friday and then at estes park yeah the stanley hotel that's where they did the shining
Starting point is 00:49:13 two shows there uh you got amcrawler dot com for all the live shows what do you got drew go to doctor dot com we have everything there So, till next time, I'm Mavit, Dr. Sann. Mahala. It's so racist all the time.
