Hey, it's the Adam and Dr. Drew throwback episode. I like listening to these because I think, oh yeah, that's what happened back then.
Starting point is 00:02:54 This is from December 2015. Enjoy part two. All right. So to refresh people, we're now reading the letter that was sent to you from the film buff agency, which is the one who is supposed to be distributing your film. What did I say to them? Dear everyone, as it pertains to the Newman doc, I was getting tweets last week before we aired on Velocity this past weekend, which by the way, gave us a nice uptick in sales,
Starting point is 00:03:19 according to our Amazon rankings, saying that the film was out of stock on Amazon. I was disappointed and angry to get more of these when I got home from my road trip and after I checked this morning on Amazon I see that it is still out of stock. Why are we running commercials that say available now on DVD if it's not available now on DVD? Can we please get our shit together? I hope there's a great story why Amazon is out of stock of this movie that doesn't have to do with we didn't ship them enough units soon enough thanks can I get an ETA when Amazon will get their next shipment and make the film available again so I can
Starting point is 00:03:52 inform my listeners all right can I can you tell me when they're going to get the next shipment here we go do move on to the next email yeah all right so this is the response from Film Buff. Hey guys, just want to clear a few things up. One, it's always a delicate dance to manufacture the right amount of DVDs. We have another title where we overshot production by eight to 10,000 units and that cost they are eating
Starting point is 00:04:18 is severely eating into profits. All right, so you've fucked up in the past. Yes. One time we made 5,000 cupcakes and 2,000 went stale because we didn't sell enough at the bakery. And by the way, the implication is that you don't understand their business and are accusing them of somehow... And why do they have to even launch into that?
Starting point is 00:04:37 That's bizarre. Defensive. It's not bizarre. We took some shitty film from Sundance that we thought everyone was up about. It's sort of basically saying we didn't think you were going to do that well. And I understand that, but what do we think their motivation was? Just to undermine you? No, I'm sure they had some motivation for being lazy and for not watching.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Well, no, you don't want to make 10,000 units and be stuck with them. That was the original issue. Here we go. We've always encouraged Keno, which is the company that made the DVD, to be fairly conservative with sales estimates In order to ensure a profitable release Additionally Amazon buyers have been pushing to keep orders low in order to be able to say only five left in stock All right, that's fucking dumb. Yeah, I you go there to buy most these guys tweet me
Starting point is 00:05:21 I was gonna get this DVD for my father-in-law. Oh, you mean there's 21 left? Hmm, maybe it's not, they're not teenage girls. It doesn't matter if there's five left or 21 left. Whenever I read that bullshit now on Amazon, I'm going to be pissed. Whenever they say, you know, low stock or whatever, I'm going to, well, just keep it in stock so I can buy it. What is Amazon anyway? Now I'm losing my faith in Amazon.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Well, if you are, if you just saw the movie, and then you said to yourself, this would make a great gift for my father-in-law, I'm going to Amazon. Do you care if there's five left? No. Or fifty five left? Shit. Whatever I'm going to Amazon to buy it. Just want to have it. Boom. OK, so that's just nonsense. Go ahead. Bullet point two. Clearly, we have been too conservative too conservative here winning sales have been running at ten times
Starting point is 00:06:07 comparable films Okay have been running is that gonna make this is two weeks ago. That's gonna make you feel way worse Yes, cuz it was established two weeks ago that it was running at a much higher before the commercial was that was after the first run Yes, okay, and you're not factoring in the fact that I have a podcast and fans but all right additionally the velocity screening bumped that already high rate up to 50 times what yeah that film that we don't have oh thank you now I can sleep but here's the part I like Keno has been quick to react the out of stock button should already be removed by Amazon
Starting point is 00:06:46 as thousands of disks were already received by them last week. All right, hold on a second. This I call bullshit on, thousands of disks. I asked them, how many thousands did you ship? And they said, oh, we gotta get back to you on that one. See if it's on, see if it's removed. But by the way, I- When they-
Starting point is 00:07:05 Gary will do it. But wait, hang on a second. When I heard- It's not removed. I looked this morning. But by the way, I had two reactions that thousands of disc kings, A, it's either BS or- It's bullshit. Or listen, you're thousands behind? Yeah, either way. Thousands? How many thousands behind?
Starting point is 00:07:21 Or you chip breath away. How many thousands? You shipped thousands last week. They'd be, we sell about a hundred and fifteen, hundred and twenty-five a day. Let's see, what's it say? Temporarily out of stock. You shipped thousands. That's right now. Yes, alright. Alright, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Here's the part you love here. I apologize. Listen, alright, here's the part you're going to love, Drew. You ready? Because you know business. Here we go. I apologize is the extent of the DVD Advertisements weren't known to Keno in time here But even if they were the extent of the success of these ads would not have been predicted anyways
Starting point is 00:07:55 Hopefully this is seen examine that yeah What they just say we got no faith in Adam Kroll. No, no, no, no, no, no, let's just say it drew drew Yeah, what they're saying is is faith in Adam Kroll. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:08:10 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, told how many they would have wanted anyway. Well, let me go on a limb. Perhaps more than zero. Perhaps. Perhaps. And also genius. Galpin Ford runs commercials every weekend. Do they know in advance how many fiestas they're going to sell or F-150s? No, they stock them and then they run a commercial. By the way, if this is your interpretation of advertisement, it's all over. There is no advertisement. Unless you can tell in advance how many you're going to sell from the advertisement. What's fascinating is it shows that whoever these people are don't have any idea about managing inventory. The price is telling you to shut up.
Starting point is 00:09:00 But why are you in business with them? The word business is right there. They're not managing inventory. Shut up. But why are you in business with? The word business is right there. They're not managing inventories. They're insulting. Obviously, read that last sentence one more time and you can just figure out how insulting this is. I apologize as the extent of the DVD advertisements weren't made known to Keno in time here, but even if they were.
Starting point is 00:09:18 But, but, now here's the thing, we screwed up. We didn't let them know. We figured it wouldn't work. No. That's what they're saying. But we wouldn't, but, but, go ahead. But even if they were, the extent of the success of these ads would not have been predicted anyways.
Starting point is 00:09:35 So we never know. So we should have zero. So we're doing advertisements for cupcakes, but we never know how many people are gonna buy cupcakes. So here's how many cupcakes we should bake cupcakes so how many here's how many cupcakes zero zero but he but here's a weird why's your nose at a joint I know we never would have known but the weird part is by the way there the irony is we never will fucking know now well they ship thousands they didn't ship thousands and then Matt what did I say to
Starting point is 00:10:01 him after that all right so here's your first of all I just want to put a pin in this one piece here, which is, for some reason... That's an insulting response. Super insulting. Yes, well, it's not insulting like you're an asshole, it's insulting like we think you're retarded. No, it's an absolute, we have no faith in you, motherfucker, is really what it is. No, I just heard, but, but, but... No, but if you run a bunch of ads, we didn't figure anybody would buy your bullshit thing. No, that's just, no, you're reading it the wrong way.
Starting point is 00:10:29 This is, we fucked up, but don't worry. Everything's cool that we fucked up because we wouldn't have known anyway. Right, it's defensive, right? Yes, it's defensive. It wouldn't have worked no matter what. Basically, here's what we need. Sorry, we screwed the pooch, it's not gonna happen again. Because according to your logic,
Starting point is 00:10:44 no commercial should ever run at any time unless you can tell exactly how many units will be so it's really not yours Certainly not yours is really Go ahead. All right. So here's your response I need to know how many DVD units were sent and on what dates the exact number, right now They're in trouble because they said we shipped out thousands in the middle of the week. All right. I also need the number of units and what days the next shipments are going out.
Starting point is 00:11:10 And as of today, Monday, when I go to Amazon and it says sold out, that means they sold the thousands of units that were shipped to them earlier last week. That's me saying you're lying. As far as the, we didn't tell Keno there was a commercial, but we wouldn't have known how many units would have been ordered based on that commercial is I'm choosing my words cautiously, not bright and not an answer. And then I pushed it.
Starting point is 00:11:35 All right. Then they said, all right. That was Matt's little twist on not bright. That wasn't you. No, that was me. That was Ace. That was all Ace. Then I said, all right, so I asked how many units you shipped out, how many thousands of units you shipped out mid-week. What is their response?
Starting point is 00:11:50 Working on getting you that. That's more or less what it says. Their response is what, how many units? It just says, I'm working on getting the actual DVD ship numbers, but we may need till the morning for full reporting. Amazon has 26 different DC locations. Oh, shut up. You're like shut up. They're like, shut up. They're like different DC locations. You're like shut up.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Look, if you shipped out 5,000 DVDs, you just say it's about 5,000 DVDs, right? Yes. They have no answer. All right. And as, and, and now Amazon has been, when's Christmas? Nine months from now? And they're still out as of when we take the show in the morning. We can still stand behind and no disappoint. This summer, Pluto TV is exploding with thousands of free movies. Summer of Cinema is here.
Starting point is 00:12:37 Feel the explosive action all summer long with movies like Gladiator, Mission Impossible, Beverly Hills Cop, Good good burger and transformers dark of the moon bring the action with you and stream for free from all your favorite devices ludo tv stream now pain never by no it's the morning do we have it it's noon, it's past noon. Do we have our numbers yet? Send out our thousands number? No, sir.
Starting point is 00:13:10 All right. Well, write them and say, I'm waiting anxiously for our number and go ahead and just round it off. Give me the thousands and what day you sent them on. Dude. Round it up to the nearest 10. Well, this is how you get rich, Drew. Yeah, deal with business with good people. All right. Nobody in the independent film world is good people. They're lazy people.
Starting point is 00:13:33 They're not bad people. You guys do it yourself. They're lazy people. But also, well next one we will. They're lazy people who by the way have the scariest trait you can have which is they all think they're smarter than you. So they can just fucking feed you shit like, eh, we didn't tell them there was a commercial, but even if we did, but there's no way we could have gauged how many they would have
Starting point is 00:13:54 sold. Wait, Max Paddow wants to talk. Yeah, leave the mic. Go ahead. It might be never to lie to you. Well here's the thing about lying. The problem with lying is you can, it's very easy to reverse engineer it. So you sent out thousands of disks to Amazon, thousands. Now I've already figured out because I begged for the information that we sell about 115,
Starting point is 00:14:26 120 units a day on a good day. That's when they're airing the dock on Velocity. So that's, I'll be super generous and say a thousand a week. You sent out thousands in the middle of last week. Certainly should be out of stock. And now we're in the middle of last week certainly should be out of stock And now we're in the middle of this week and they've been out of stock the entire time. Yeah, and You've sent out thousands. Of course by the way, what's the amount? They'll never give it to you. But if you get it, what would you predict 400? I
Starting point is 00:14:59 They won't give you the answer because it makes them into liar So what they if you were to guess? By the way, if you sent out 5,000 units, and by the way, you know you've sent out 5,000 units, if you've sent out 5,000 units, you've sent out 5,000 units. Like when I say, Gary, how many of those don't do your best, do my best t-shirts have we ordered? 250. Okay, does it take you days to compile the data and stuff like that? If you sent out 5,000, you know it's 10,000, 10,000.
Starting point is 00:15:26 There might be some variables and you might go, well, there's this department and that department, but figure about 5,000 or 4,000. But you'd send back that hour. No answer. No, no, I know you won't get the answer, but what is your... You're asking me for prediction. I'm saying they give no answer. We already got the, it's going to take a while to compile the data. If you don't get an answer. We already got these gonna take a while to compile the data
Starting point is 00:15:45 If you don't get an answer, we will not what is your estimate of what they actually sent out then send anything out? Oh none Whoa, I don't think they sent anything out. So they you said said thousands. They said zero I have no look all I know is it's been out of stock at Amazon middle of last week, through the weekend, to today. Maybe they sent 25 units and they all got gobbled up on Sunday morning. I don't know. But it could, it's just been empty.
Starting point is 00:16:17 It's been out of stock for days and days. They put in something like three to 500 and screwed up and the whole way they shipped it and got it out and fucked it all up. So well, they they said thousands by the way What does thousands do you mean? Cuz to me three to five thousand or over or a lot more. Yeah Right, right under three thousand. Oh Cannot be on it because two thousand is just two thousand couple thousand and a thousand's a thousand Yeah, even three street, but anyway thousands. Yes, if someone said I'm gonna pay you thousands of dollars to do this gay porn and
Starting point is 00:16:51 Then they gave you three thousand dollars. You'd be disappointed Yes, depends of who is with Okay, that's true All right Scott All right, Scott. 48. All right. It's awesome. Hi, Adam.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Yeah. So you get rich. Here we go. What's going on there? Mm hmm. Hey, here's a thing no one talks about. Divorce. The modern divorce life is about fighting over child support because it's the golden
Starting point is 00:17:19 ring. Let me stop you. I did an entire documentary about that. Oh, yeah. That's what I'm calling. Did you follow up on your... See how many they're having stock on Amazon. I'll check on that, but since you brought it up. Oh, the hammer.
Starting point is 00:17:35 What people... Have you followed up, Dr. Drew, on your doc? There's only 10 left, so it's hot. Strike while the eight-year-old movie is hot, everybody. No, they have a couple thousand in the back. I'm sure. That's strategic. They just keep it there so it entices sales. All right. Sorry. Go ahead. Okay. Sorry, Adam. The whole thing is about child support. If you take that out of the mix, then you don't destroy the family because what's happened with modern divorce now is the war is so
Starting point is 00:18:06 the vitriol and that argument and basically you don't have a normal divorce family. You have one that's alienated and then one that goes on and people don't talk about this. Oh no no, yeah listen. No, we don't talk about it. Well no, hold on. In the doc I talked about from the perspective of how the system and the attorneys and the judges exploit that issue But but you're right. There is a profound issue that I thought was axiomatic Which is that the kids are used as pawns. It does not serve the children. It ruptures relationships I mean, that's why I'm just the whole point of that doc is to you know Advocate a don't get divorced and B find an arbitrator if you do and get it over fast
Starting point is 00:18:45 and don't just get shit done. I don't want to correct you, but my kids are rooks. It costs a lot of money. Well, what I tell guys going through it, take your house payment you have with your family, that's going to be your child support. Yeah, that's right. Well, and then how much go into the attorneys?
Starting point is 00:19:01 Divorce court's still available on Amazon Amazon by the way, what's that? Yeah Divorce court. Oh, thank you Damn blue red forest car both still and still in stock, but only seven left. Mm-hmm. No No, they both here to have plenty. Yeah 700 years. They shipped thousands Thousands Thanks, buddy. I'm with you 100% I I can't thousands. Thanks, I'm with you 100%. I can't, listen, you look at all the shit going down in this world today, at the core is destroyed families. And it's, attorneys and destroyed families, you can take almost everything back to that, you
Starting point is 00:19:35 know what I mean? True. All the shit that's going down. How much, by the way, how much of Amazon, sorry, how much of email has enabled people to bullshit other people? Contextualize that question for me, I can't quite answer it. If I'm standing in the room with the moron who did give Amazon any, here goes. Hey, Wednesday noon we ship thousands, really? How long does it take to get to Amazon? Two days, two days, so you ship thousands, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:01 How many do we sell this weekend? We sell thousands this weekend? No, you sold 741. That's you being a you being why are they out of them you're able to be an asshole person right but when you're just writing an email you just write shit well you're old that bull no you're your asshole is just got through you got through all right the part again that the sweet the sweet cherry on top of the icing for me is me pointing this out to everybody in our camp and then I'm going What and I go Amazon's out of them they go
Starting point is 00:20:30 When did this happen? Listen, I just got off the road for three days. Why am I but but to be the answer is Then you know what the answer always is we did check no. Oh, yeah, but you know what the answer for me is Yeah, I care no not more than you me is? I care. No, not more than you care. That's true. That is true. But not only do you care, but you're actually what you would call a good businessman. You know what I mean? You attend to the details that are important. And if, you know, caring plus good judgment plus good, you know what I mean? It's a little more than just I care. Well, thank you. Yeah, that's a compliment. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:21:05 All right, so Drew, for the one time, maybe in the history of our relationship... I give you a compliment? You're grant... No, no. You're granting my P.O.-ness and... I'm not just granting it. You're not nullifying it. I'm trying to amplify it.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I'm a little concerned that you're not more pissed off. You should be insulted and pissed off. I'm mainly broken. Yeah, I get it to amplify them. I'm a little concerned that you're not more pissed off. You should be insulted and pissed off. I'm mainly broken. Yeah, I get it. All right. But I will tell Matt, get Matt in here. Hey, before... Maybe we'll get an answer immediately.
Starting point is 00:21:36 Speaking of the brokenness, maybe the next show we'll talk about this a little bit. I've noticed that with the world situation, maybe because I'm in news all the time now, I'm uncomfortable like 80% of the time now. My fucking nervous system has just turned up. That's an interesting phenomenon. Yeah. Let's talk, can we talk about that for a second? You wanna talk to Matt first or my?
Starting point is 00:21:55 I'll go Matt first. Matt, the sentiment here is saying, I need an answer right now as to how many you've shipped, and I need a rough estimate. Just spit it out. That that emails essentially been sent already All right, and what did say? It said Adam it said this is a quote from Adam
Starting point is 00:22:14 I'm eerily awaiting that number and I am fine with you rounding it to the nearest hundred. Please send it to me now Okay, we'll see when we get that number All right Yes, Drew. Yeah, we've called Italy we get that number. All right. Yes, Drew. God damn, we've got a call from Italy out there. All right. That too. Go ahead. Yes, the problem is... Okay, here's how we're wired, I think. Well, we're animals and so... We're animals. You know, when there's shit going on, you know, we're, yeah. But here's what I'm saying. When they run commercials for pizza places or the Olive Garden, there's a lot of, they
Starting point is 00:22:53 don't have a plain looking chick standing in front of a gray screen. They have people pulling pizza apart with the slow string melt, pull apart, drop in their mouth. They show the person they rarely show people eating salad they don't show them eating the dinner salad they show them grabbing another mozzarella stick and biting it the cheese stretch and the triggers are hungers right so you sit around and you see the in-and-out burger commercial you see the pizza joint Olive Garden you see
Starting point is 00:23:22 everyone sitting around digging into the pasta And then you just sit in front of TV and you come yeah It's just like any your mouth your mouth if you know if you took a lion and started waving a piece of beef in front of him he Right your mouth waters your mouth starts to water yeah, okay now imagine if you then got into your car To leave for work that morning. Just turn on the radio. I was like, mmm savory Savory beef cooked slow cooked applewood. No one even knows what applewood is Over slow everything's cooked slowly Actually, you want either flash fried or slow?
Starting point is 00:23:59 There's no medium. No, not in not into that. It's gotta be faster super fast or super slow Medium? No, not in. Not into that. It's got to be faster. Super fast or super slow. Slow cook. Tender age. Blah blah blah. It's either the freshest or aged. Five years. We don't have not a lot of room for in-between. So then you did that and then you walked into work. And when you walked into work, there are people staying around the water cooler. Did you hear about this lasagna? Oh man, beefy savory lasagna. After a while you'd maybe 500 pounds and be just walking around with drool just dripping down your chin and every conversation you had with someone and people are like what are we gonna do about these turkey drumsticks? And you'd be like yeah I don't know. I am hungry. So alright,
Starting point is 00:24:43 now you replace that with horrible news. You, you just oh, it's another ISIS attack We're coming to get you we're coming to get you we're coming to get you you start thinking we're coming to go I better be aware of this. No, so everyone's walking around in this weird state yeah My kids are going to the mall. Yeah, that's safe for them to go to the mall No, but eat but even you're you're you're suggesting that there's a thought with it. No, no, you're right. No, it's not a thought. It's the same thought you have with the commercials and the food.
Starting point is 00:25:14 I'm just aware that my heart rate is a little higher than it normally is. My muscle tones up a little more than usual. I don't feel comfortable in my own skin some of the time. It's just not a great state to walk around in. It's bothering me. That's interesting. And I agree. And it's probably added to the collective fuse, shorter fuse, and sort of general discomfort.
Starting point is 00:25:39 People are probably quicker to honk and yell at someone to get out of the way. I mean, it's a general, it's a low grade agitation. It certainly contributes to that for sure. Well, I'll put it to you this way. You know that feeling of not getting a very restful night's sleep, and the next day is just kind of a low grade,
Starting point is 00:26:01 I'm a little off my game, I'm a little agitated, my fuse is a little short. I'm a little off my game. I'm a little agitated. My fuse is a little short I'm not I'm not well, I'm not running through the job with a machete, but I'm yep I didn't get a good night's sleep. They're sort of doing that to America. Yep. Okay Speaking of America Eric 41 Italy. Hi, how are you? Good. Where are you exactly? I'm in Sorrento, which is just south of Naples nice When you guys I know you guys are going to or Adam I know you're going to what Germany or I know you were in England or any thoughts are coming to Italy
Starting point is 00:26:34 We're doing live shows in Europe probably in middle of June ish now and we'll figure it out We're going I don't we'll figure it out. But you have no idea where you're going. Not now. No. Hey, we want to thank you. I want to go. All right. I can't stop you. I have an English school here and I have to say I listen to you guys all the time even when I was making Thanksgiving dinner I had the Adam and Dr. Goose show on. Thank you. Very cool. Thank you. What's your question, Eric?
Starting point is 00:27:08 Well, okay. So I've been here five years and I've noticed that here in Italy, men are expected to act like men and women are expected to act like women. And Eric, I'm going to add to that. I noticed also as this is a very common European thing as it pertains to alcoholism and addiction, alcoholics behave like alcoholics. Oh, really? That's Joe the alcoholic.
Starting point is 00:27:30 Oh, like town drunk stuff. Yeah. Interesting. Weird. They don't pathologize anything. So go ahead. No, but I've also noticed that at least where I am, everyone drinks, even the teenagers drink,
Starting point is 00:27:45 but they'll have one drink, they'll have one glass of wine and that's it, they don't have 10. Right, because all the alcoholics have died off a long time ago. All right. They kill them off by encouraging the use. Eric, are you, do you have a dissertation here about how not demonizing or stigmatizing it
Starting point is 00:28:03 is making it blah, blah, blah? I think you were talking about men and women making it, blah, blah, blah. I think you were talking about men and women. No, well, really quick. Yeah, I do think that there is something to be said, the fact that if you go to a club or a bar here, it's always the foreigners, the Americans, and the British that are drunk.
Starting point is 00:28:18 It's not the Italians. And I think there's something to be said about the fact that it's more open for teenagers and kids It's an interesting point because the Brits and Irish, you know, they do get their swig on but again you there's so many other cultural Geographical aspects to this genetic and genetic that you just really can't lay it all out on Having that that that being said I have a vending machine in it here. Everything in it will kill you if you eat more than three of them. And when my son comes in on Saturdays or Sundays, he always says, father, may I get something from the
Starting point is 00:28:56 vending machine? I go, yeah, go ahead. And I don't go like, hold on, did you have, when was your last soda or anything? I just, and he wanders over and has it. There's no energy around it. By the way, he's also so good about it when Adam's been over at the other shop before, he's come up to me and gone, do you know when my dad's coming back? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:13 And I know that's what he wants, and then as soon as Adam walks in the door, father, can I have something out of the machine? It's adorable. Right, but I don't- It's not like Adam in front of the neighbor's pantry push spooning in Count Chocula and pie filling. Yes, it turned me to a demon spawn.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Yes. All right, so Eric? So why do you think, like for example in America, I remember like even as a teacher I would hear people say, I don't feel comfortable with this or that makes me feel uncomfortable with something. You should see it, Eric, now it's out of control. Now that whole I don't feel safe has become a political movement and a legal movement.
Starting point is 00:29:51 Right. But here in Italy, I've never heard the phrase, I don't feel comfortable, that this makes me feel uncomfortable. People just go on with life. It's actually interesting. That has always been one of the things of, I've always said, I've never uttered the words, I felt threatened. Yeah. Or you're uncomfortable with doing this. But way before the movement started, just in 1996, I've just never said like, I'm uncomfortable, or I feel threatened by I've just always thought sort
Starting point is 00:30:22 of a general mindset. No, that's a victim mindset. Right, and I've never wanted to be that way. The world is always out to get me, the world is always victimizing me. So there's two things that spin that. One is you come from trauma and broken families. So in Italy, the families are all together, the children are raised in safe environment. Yeah, and in their 40s they're there. Mama, do the laundry!
Starting point is 00:30:44 Different problem. But there's that, number one. And then number two, there. Yeah, I know. Mama, do the laundry. Different problem. But there's that, number one. And then number two, there aren't a bunch of attorneys going, that's right, that's right, you are being victimized. This summer, Pluto TV is exploding with thousands of free movies.
