All right, we have some major breaking news to cover. Democratic Senator Alex Padilla was physically removed and detained from a press conference held by Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem. Secretary Nome was speaking and testifying about the ongoing immigration raids and protests in California, you know, to talk about this first story. She was speaking to reporters, Secretary Nome, when Senator Alex Padilla began asking questions and was thrown to the ground. Urgent breaking news, and I want to start here. Democratic U.S. Senator Alex Padilla was just thrown to the ground and arrested for Trump. trying to speak at a Department of Homeland Security press conference by Secretary Christy Noem.

And then we'll go into what's happening with the Oversight Committee. And in the ballot seat. Sir, sir, hands up, hands up. I'm Senator Alex Padilla. There are a few different stories that we have to cover. All that broke within the last hour. So some of this, we will still be hearing as it breaks. For example, this clip that I just played happened

20 minutes ago. So we're still going to be hearing as it breaks. What we know now is that Secretary Nome was speaking to reporters about the ongoing situation, the ongoing raids and protests in Southern California. And I just want to make sure very quickly that we understand this is going to be what's covered a lot, this arrest, as it should be. But if you want to go back to the fundamental underlying problem, it's that Secretary Nome, Donald Trump, Tom Homan,

they directed ICE agents to go and conduct record, reckless and brazen deportations in majority Latino neighborhoods in California. They did this in an escalatory way, and when small protests broke out, they continued to escalate on the news, saying we're going to arrest everybody. After that, they mobilize a National Guard and the Marines. So I want to thread the needle. This is a very, very important story, a very, very important thing to cover this arrest, and we will cover it relentlessly.

But don't forget the underlying systemic problem, which is, the deportations in a brazen, cruel, and reckless manner, especially when the administration is targeting people who are trying to follow the proper processes. That's what really, I mean, a lot of it bothers me, don't get me wrong, but something that really bothers me is when people are a few weeks away from their court date and they are going through all of the proper channels to do it legally, and yet ICE still intentionally, purposefully targets them.

Then it's like, what's the point in following the laws? Okay, we currently have 11,000 people watching live, so I want to restart. We have some breaking news. California Senator Alex Padilla was thrown to the ground and detained for simply asking questions during a briefing that Secretary Christy Noem was holding. Secretary Christie Noam was attempting to explain away the brazen and reckless deportations that we've seen in California. doing so, she took questions. When the senator from California began to ask questions and press her, security quickly stepped in. I don't want to waste any time. I want to play this clip one more time. This is wrong for many reasons. Let me just start with the fundamentals. The Trump administration has shown a repeated pattern of using disproportionate force rather than de-escalating. So what they do is when they're trying to arrest somebody or tell somebody to get out of an area or to leave this perimeter, Rather than doing it in a de-escalatory way, like mature effing adults, what they do is they escalate and they use disproportionate force, and they tell you to put your hands behind your back while they're holding you and suspended mid-air. This is absurd.

Lay flat. Other hand, sir. Other hand, sir. This is a Democratic senator. Treat him with some respect, first of all. Second of all, Trump has committed 10 times as many crimes. 100 times as many crimes. Padilla didn't do anything. As crime was asking a simple question, yet we've never seen this type of disproportionate force used to arrest Donald Trump. They are targeting Democratic senators, and we have it on video. Trump has said for the past four years that he's been targeted by the deep state or the swamp, but being detained for asking questions at a public event. is that part in and of itself is not unheard of, but a sitting U.S. Senator being detained on camera at a public event is unheard of. That is unheard of.

The incident was caught on camera, quickly went viral, and Noam continued her speech, her propaganda-fueled speech. At the same time, can I point out, that things in the oversight committee are just going off of the rails. Check out Marjorie Taylor Green, accusing Maxwell Frost of being a member of Antifa.

california governor gavin newsome immediately blasted the incident as outrageous dictatorial and shameful saying the trump administration is basically shocking troops l a mayor karen base has called this outrageous as well so far these ice raids have only escalated things further, the Trump administration has, again, shown a pattern of not being able to de-escalate, not having any intention of de-escalating. They want to use disproportionate force, and I really quickly want to use this next 10 seconds, 20 seconds, to just promote something. Hear me out. Padilla was then forcibly removed from the room as footage was shown. He was not successfully able to ask a question, but Noam said she will contact him after the press conference.

How is this legal? The only way something like this would be legal is if you can demonstrate that he was disrupting an official proceeding. If the senator was disrupting some sort of proceeding, then, in a repeated and intentional manner, then you can show that. But we haven't seen that illustrated whatsoever at all. Charlie Kirk just simply says, wild. Gavin Newsom says, if they can handcuff a U.S. Senator for asking a question, imagine what they'll do to you. Imagine what they'll do to you. Very well said. Again, Senator Padilla's office sends me this video of his takedown and detention. We are at the point where the Trump administration is detaining U.S. senators for simply asking a question in a democracy. And this is part of public intimidation

and the chilling effect that they want to create. Think about this. When the Trump administration is able to sue the media, you know, attack universities, sue law firms, and even detain senators for asking simple questions, they can set the precedent that maybe these aren't questions that you want to ask in the first place. Then the next time a senator or a media company will begin to self-censor in advance. The Adam Mockler channel will never do that. We are totally independent. There is nobody telling me what to do or what to say. I could do whatever the hell I want right now. the Trump administration has gone after. Senators now, law firms, courts, even the Supreme Court that Trump admin is gone after, and this video just comes as an escalation at a time when Trump is creating the self-perpetuating feedback loop. I've explained this concept a few times, but the self-perpetuating feedback loop that the Trump administration is creating is where they try to create outrage on the ground, in California, for example. Then they use that outrage as a pretext or a justification. to then further, you know, mobilized troops.

Further mobilized troops. Somebody said, what happened? Okay, just to recap, Senator Alex Padilla confronted Department of Homeland Secretary Christy Noem during a press conference in a very heated way, and the heated way was just asking a question, just asking a question, and they immediately begin to drag him out.

We have multiple angles of this happening. This is the key angle showing the immediate escalation of force. I'm Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary, because the fact of the matter is a half a dozen criminal that you're rotating on your, on your, on your, heads off. How many of our ice agents have been docks for doing their duties and how they have been targeted. Wow. Just absolutely wild.

Again, please drive this point. home. We have spent the last four years listening to these absolute idiots say that Biden is weaponized in the DOJ. Biden wants to arrest Republican senators and is targeting people. And over the past week, we've seen our president get the military to effing boo certain states and the governor of California. The military. The military is supposed to be impartial and they were booing. They were booing California Governor Gavin Newsome and booing just the state of California and the Biden administration. Then off the back of that, what the Trump admin does is begin to arrest senators, not even arrest. Let me use the word detain. We're seeing him detained on camera, and their aggressive

tactics are used to silence both political opponents, like Alex Padilla, the senator, or protesters, like the protesters we've seen being shot in the leg over the past few days, or what about the universities? Just so you all know, the Trump admin has targeted a slew of universities, including Harvard, including Columbia, I'm sure a lot of you have been following, but the goal is to get these universities to change what they teach. Okay, if that's not enough, he then starts to sue ABC in Paramount. The point is that someone in chat just said, sorry, I get distracted too easily, but someone said, you're just mad, you lost Libs.

We're not mad that we lost the election. We're mad that we just lost the damn country and the democracy that we've been working for for hundreds of years to some orange fat lunatic. because he doesn't understand how rule of law is supposed to work, or law and order is supposed to work. That's what makes me mad. We're not mad that we lost the election. We can get over an election loss as we have since the inception of the country,

but we're just mainly mad that Donald Trump is currently botching everything. To the Trump supporters in chat who are saying that I'm mad, can you name me one deal he's cut? You know what pisses me off about all of this? Trump this morning sent out one of his manic posts, basically conceding that his deportations have been too rough. Look at this. Trump sends out a post that says, our great farmers and people in the hotel and leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very. very good, long-time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace. Who would have thought that an increase in immigration helps the labor force in the United States, strengthens the labor force in the United States? Donald Trump then basically

is saying that his immigration policy has maybe been too aggressive. He then says in many cases criminals allowed into our country by the very stupid Biden open borders policy are applying for these jobs. Good job. Deflected to Biden. Always deflected to Biden. And he says, this is not good. We must protect our farmers, but get the criminals out of the USA. Are you? Okay, so during the election season, if you were watching the Adam Mockler channel, we would relentlessly say there are many, many problems with Trump's mass deportation plan. Number one, how do you do that without accidentally deporting U.S. citizens or well-meaning people? Well, that's already off the books. Trump has already deported U.S. citizens. Number two, how do you do this without nuclear

the workforce. I mean, the workforce relies a lot on labor that comes from immigrants. It's a net benefit to our economy, and Trump now was beginning to realize that. But when they say illegal versus legal immigration, they are trying to end legal status in the United States as well. Correct, Governor Prisker, with the end of TPS, and making people undocumented by removing legal status, ending legal status, and then having the audacity. to call them illegal when they were here documented, correct? Taking students' visas away from people, taking their legal right to be in the United States

away from them when they've been granted maybe years earlier to stay. So I don't want to hear about how this is about illegal versus legal immigration. They are attacking legal status and removing legal status. The Republican majority is anti-legal immigration in the United States. I want to make that very clear. That's the worst type of gaslighting. Republicans engaged in throughout the election cycle. I went to like 50 different Trump rallies, and AOC is completely right. They would say that they're okay with legal immigration, but now you see

the Trump administration intentionally and purposefully targeting people who are already following the proper processes. For example, there are people who are weeks away from court dates who have been trying to get the correct status or citizenship or green card for a while, and yet the Trump administration continues to target them, and that is one of the cruel parts. That is one of the many, many cruel parts about this all. And that's part of it that really pisses me off in a unique way, in my opinion. The fact that the Trump admin will say come here legally, but then when people come here legally, they do absolutely, they still deport them. You can't follow up. To shut up. No, you don't, no, you're not going to tell me to shut up.

One more time, I know I played this clip roughly 15 minutes ago, but it's worth replaying. It's almost like a reality TV show. James Comer tells Maxwell Frost to shut up. Maxwell Frost, the youngest representative, says, you're not going to tell me to shut up. And then Marjorie Taylor Green, you know, comes in and body slams with a Q&ON conspiracy theory and says, actually, you're a member of Antifa.

He was arrested for being Antifa. You always got to have the Q&ONs sprinkled on top. You can't follow up. Just shut up. No, you don't, no, you're not going to tell me to shut up. Let's, what, how do you get him in order? You're running for, not like that. He's, I, he has been out of order six times.

And on Fox News, Mark Teeson came on a

Fox News contributor and said, you know, it's his fault. This is not how a senator is supposed to behave. But can I just remind you that I just played a clip of Marjorie Taylor Green acting like a wild animal in Congress? What do you mean this is not how a senator is supposed to behave? You've got a Democratic senator, a storming a press conference of the DHS secretary, going into a scuffle with law enforcement, what's wrong with these people? You don't behave like this. Isn't how a senator is supposed to behave?

You're supposed to have some sort of decorum. And this is a, you wonder why there are riots in Los Angeles? You've got members of Congress elected Democrats modeling this kind of behavior. You can just storm a building. You can storm the ICE agents. You can storm the DHS secretary. Oh my God.

Democrats are modeling the behavior that you can just storm a building. Brother. Where are we modeling that behavior off of? Here's the difference that is very, very key. If somebody is like storming a building and doing crazy stuff, that's terrible. Senator Padilla was just asking a simple question. You're going to say that that is storming a building.

But when Donald Trump commands a top-down coup in 2020, they just say that was a little bit of an oopsie and Donald Trump was just being silly. Off the back of Donald Trump's massive election fraud lie, he convinced like 30% of the country to be in this weird schizophrenic mania where they thought the election was stolen and everything was targeting Trump as in the deep states. And now they say that Alex,

Senator Padilla, is storming the building. Senator Chris Murphy says, this is a United States senator being violently removed from a public briefing. Many are reaching out to Senator Padilla right now and there are facts we need to gather, but this is a very, very serious moment. And this is why this is a serious moment.

Senator Padilla was not removed for disrupting some sort of official proceeding or disrupting some sort of press conference, he was removed for asking a simple question that challenged the Trump administration's narrative.
