What the hell is this article that I just read?
Doge Goons physically dragged Social Security worker from desk.
The high-ranking civil servant had opposed a plan to push out migrants by falsely listing them as dead,
and he was forcefully removed from his desk at the Social Security offices.
Now, I want to break down this story and a few more.
We have a lot to talk about today.
Before we even break down this, there's a story that is tangentially related that is equally as important.
Social Security's announcements are leaving its website.
now moving to X, meaning the primary communication service from the Social Security Service
is coming from a platform that Elon Musk owns, and Elon Musk leverages to spread disinformation.
So if you want official updates on your retirement, your disability checks, your benefits of any
sort, you now have to scroll through Elon's personal propaganda machine.
You don't just get Social Security announcements.
You also have to get conspiracy theories, rage-baiting posts.
that will make you mad, Russian disinformation, all throughout Twitter, all just to see an update
about your disability check, which, by the way, Elon Musk is also sort of poking and prodding
with right now.
Now, it's not like he's completely nuking Social Security.
I don't want to raise any panic.
I've gotten emails of people scared.
There's no reason to be scared.
But the thing is, Elon Musk is making these attempts.
We need to make sure we're going to these hands-off protests and saying, hey, keep your
hands off the Social Security, Disability checks, Medicare.
Medicaid, all of these things, keep your hands off.
But back to the main story, the fact that Social Security's announcements are leaving
its official website and going to Elon Musk's platform is a gross, gross, abuse of power,
but also concession from the people working within Social Security.
Why is Elon Musk now allowed to dictate the narrative on Social Security and say that it's
a Ponzi scheme and it's fraudulent?
And then if you're on Social Security and you want to go get information, you have to
read through Elon Musk's tweets about Social Security being fraudulent. It's disgusting.
And check out Representative Jason Crow breaking this down from Colorado. He has a break in a
Well, he's a billionaire acting as billionaires do. They're trying to raise money. They're
trying to pad their own pockets. You know, this is somebody who's one of the largest defense
government contractors in the country. And he's been given the keys to every government agency
by Donald Trump. Not only that, there's zero congressional oversight. Nobody really can even say
what his job is. There's no accountability. There's no insight into what he's doing. And people
are pretty pissed off about it. And they should be, right? Because he has access to their social
security systems. We have access to the payment systems. And he's the one who's deciding what to cut
and what not to cut when he has a vested interest in all of these programs. So people see what's
going on here. It's not okay. Very well said. And before we get on to the main story, the key point
that Jason Crow makes here, a few key points of the representative makes. But number one,
there's no external oversight.
Most departments, most institutions
have an external body overseeing them
so there are checks and balances.
All Elon Musk has is his own
Twitter account that he runs
and the Doge account, which he also runs.
So it's like the same problem
as people going to X to get their social security
disinformation. It's all this
feedback loop of disinformation.
But also, there are many conflicts
of interest. Elon Musk is rushing
it and being reckless. I mean, let me play a clip
for my Jubilee debate just to show you.
me debating a conservative about Elon, all that I ask is that you scroll down,

one of the fastest growing political channels on all of YouTube.
Doge and Elon Musk fired a bunch of nuclear stockpile workers, as Naima said,
and then they realized 24 hours later, and you can look this up,
these were uniquely qualified, highly specialized people who were maintaining and taking care of our nuclear stockpiles.
So they fired them on Thursday.
They've reached back out on Friday, but the nuclear stockpile people were locked out of their federal emails.
so there was a bunch of downtime where our stockpiles couldn't be maintained.
Two questions.
Is that efficient, and is that helping America?
But here's the thing.
Okay, so for the nuclear thing, that is bad.
And it's great.
And I'm going to agree with you right there.
I think it's great that you mention it.
And I think it's great that we can acknowledge that, oh, my gosh, if we cut things that
don't need to be cut, we need to figure out and make sure those things are not cut.
Here's the problem.
The government is so massive and so wasteful and so inefficient that it is almost impossible
to tell the fat from the muscle because of how massive the entire system is.
It's like doing surgery.
Yeah, I still disagree with your entire thesis.
I think surgery, something that is necessary with surgery, is precision.
You have surgical precision when you do things, and that's not what Elon Musk is doing.
So the way that Elon Musk is doing it is not only reckless, but it's illegal.
Article 1 of the Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse.
So when Elon Musk is using the executive branch to cut things and shutter entire agencies like U.S. aid,
you are subverting Congress.
You are subverting their power of the purse.
100%.
And that ties directly back to this point that I want to make here.
Richard Hananiya posted, Elon Musk has reduced the claims about what Doge is saving from
$1 to $2 trillion to $150 billion.
But the New York Times reports he's still getting the numbers wrong through things like
accounting errors, canceling contracts that don't exist.
We've also heard that he's claimed to cancel contracts that ended years ago.
There was a contract that was paid out fully in 2019.
and Elon Musk listed that as saving $8 billion,
that's part of the $150 billion number.
And then they don't remove these accounting errors,
which is absolutely wild.
And really quickly, life has been kind of stressful lately
between all of the work we do to stay on top of the news every day,
between all of the work we do at our actual jobs or school,
whatever you spend your day is doing,
I feel like half of us are running on caffeine and stress most of the time.

Thanks to Viya for making this video possible, and thank you to you guys.
And this takes us to the main story.
Doge Goons physically dragged Social Security worker from Desk.
This is going to be an interesting story because the Elon, I was going to say the Elon administration,
but the Trump administration with Elon Musk running Doge has been making all of these really, really fast-paced mistakes
and not really being able to fix them.
So for example, Elon Musk claimed that there were hundreds, thousands of dead people on the Social Security payrolls,
But it turns out that was just a mechanism from COVID to stop fraud.
I made a whole other video about this, but that was actually to stop fraud.
A senior executive at the Social Security Administration was physically dragged from his office this week
after clashing with the Department of Government Efficiency, according to the Washington Post.
The Washington Post article reads,
Trump admin overrode Social Security staff to list immigrants as dead.
And again, keep your damn hands off our Social Security.
Well, not my Social Security yet,
Keep your damn hands off.
A senior executive who objected was marched out of his office and put on leave
after earlier warnings about the agency's deaths database were ignored.
Two days after the Social Security admin purposely and falsely labeled 6,100 living immigrants as dead,
security guards arrived at the office of a well-regarded senior executive in the agency's
Woodlawn, Maryland, HQ.
So at the headquarters in Maryland, they physically dragged a well-respected executive.
out because he pushed back on their dumb plan.
Greg Pierre, who oversaw a staff of hundreds of technology experts, had pushed back on
the Trump admin's plan to move the migrants' names into Social Security Death Database,
eliminating their ability to legally earn wages, and officials hoped spurring them to leave
the country.
Elon, this is not your job.
What a massive overreach.
It is not the job of Elon Musk or Doge or Social Security to force people to force people to
out of America. To force people's life. It's insane. To continue, though. Pierre had clashed with
Scott Coulter, the new chief information officer installed by Elon Musk. Pierre told Coulter that the
plan was illegal, cruel, and risked declaring the wrong people dead, according to three people
familiar with the events. No. Elon Musk making a fast-paced mistake in ruining somebody's life? No.
Actually, there are multiple stories of people being labeled as dead and having to go through weeks
of a bureaucratic nightmare just to get their social security checks again.
But I guess that's intentional.
The goal is to make life so unlivable, so bureaucratically impossible for these migrants
in particular, that many of them will just quote unquote self-deport, which is absolutely
disgusting.
Remember, Elon Musk can't be trusted with anything.
This guy sends out 200 tweets a day, 99% of them just pure disinformation, the ones that
aren't disinformation are probably just like racist memes or whatever the hell.
And that's still disinformation.
On top of that, they fired nuclear stockpile workers.
They accidentally paused Ebola research and never restored it.
They paused measles research.
All of these things combined to paint a pretty terrible picture.
But PR's objections, the guy who was fired, did not go over well with the Trump political appointees.
And so on Thursday, the security guards in Pierre's office told him it was time to leave.
This is like a microcosm of fascist behavior, using the machinery of the state to target a class of people.
And then when somebody sticks up for that class of people, you use security guards to remove them.
And I understand that Elon or whoever likely had the right to remove this person,
but there's a difference between having the right to remove someone and placing us on a really morally slippery slope
because you felt the need to remove someone from the office physically.
But I'm going to leave it at that.
As the Trump admin tries to distance himself from Elon Musk and say that he's a political liability,
he is still trying to push the boundaries of what is acceptable in America.
No billionaire should have this level of power over the Constitution and over people.
He has no constitutional restraints at the moment.
He has no moral compass whatsoever, and it's bleeding into the lives of daily people.
We will end this here.
I will see you all in the next video.
