Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, we have some breaking news. Elon Musk has had quite a bad week. And let me just back up for a second. This is not normal. I want to remind you, none of this is normal. It is not normal for the richest man in the world to leverage his wealth to buy a social media platform, use that social media platform to spread right-wing propaganda, and then further leverage his wealth to support the Trump campaign, get Trump into office, and then leverage Trump's power to stop any regulatory investigation into him. Everything I just said happened, and this is the sign of a failing country. This is a sign of a country in danger. But for a little bit of a little bit of reprieve from all of the grim news, Elon Musk has had quite a shitty week. For example, X had insane outages

Starting point is 00:00:42 yesterday. Every ex user, their app was down. Therefore, Elon Musk couldn't spread his propaganda. He was tweeting about that, but let me also remind you that Tesla's profits dropped 71% quarter over amid anti-Musk backlash. This article came out last month, but still, Tesla continues to lose profit. And you can connect it directly to Elon Musk's involvement in politics. The more he gets involved, the more the stock drops, the more that people rebel. Tesla's profits fell 71% over the first three months of the year. A company earnings release on Tuesday showed. Total revenue decreased by 9% from one year earlier, while revenue derived from car sales plunged 20% over the over the first three months of 2025, how amazing would it be in a hypothetical world?

Starting point is 00:01:30 And maybe this is just fan fiction at this point, but if Elon Musk's actions actually came around to have insane historical consequences, when we read about Elon Musk in 100 years, I hope that there is a chapter going in to his downfall after his peak in politics. So again, this dude bought his way into politics, ruined American democracy in a few ways by just pushing the boundaries on what kind of corruption is acceptable, what kind of regulatory corruption by, like, you're saying, hey, stop these investigations, we'll fire you. Elon Musk's doge, I haven't even mentioned that,

Starting point is 00:02:04 then went and shuttered multiple key agencies firing tens of thousands of people. The point is, drop a like and drop some blue hearts. If you want to see a history book in 100 years, it says, Elon Musk, you know, he bought his way into the White House, and then after that he lost all of his wealth rapidly due to the consequences of his insane political actions. I would love to see that. But to continue with Elon Musk's week, he then came out and said he'll resume working 24-7 at his companies and the X outage that happened was mostly restored. The reason why Elon Musk is scrambling, almost tripping over himself to go work at his companies

Starting point is 00:02:44 again is because the companies are failing. X literally had a power outage yesterday. Like a massive outage. Nobody could use the app, which is not a good look for a social media platform that's already in dire condition. And then again, Tesla earnings dropped. Check out this clip of Harry Sisson breaking this down. So get this. Elon Musk is now claiming one of the reasons he's leaving politics is because Donald Trump and the Republicans have messed up the economy so badly that he needs to boost GDP. It's just remarkable. This person said given the disastrous GOP bill, the only chance the U.S. has is explosive GDP growth. If that doesn't happen in the next two to three years, we are cooked. Please pass term limits in Congress. A person followed up and saying, I wonder if this

Starting point is 00:03:27 is why Elon has somewhat moved away from politics in order to accelerate GDP growth with humanoid robots. If he believes this is the only solution, then this would be his most logical choice. And Elon Musk responded with a bullseye indicating that this is his motivation. This is why he's doing it. This is why he's getting out of politics. So if we're just following the line of responses here. Musk believes that the bill is so bad that he needs to boost GDP growth in the economy because Trump and the Republicans have messed it up so much. Seems like there's some major rift between the Trump administration and Elon Musk. You know, somebody that's supportive of the Trump administration and everything they're doing with the big, beautiful bill, certainly

Starting point is 00:04:06 wouldn't be responding this way to criticisms like this. So I don't know, maybe the breakup between Elon Musk and Trump that we've been anticipating is finally here. Very, very well said, but it gets even worse because then Elon Musk posted in response to X having outages. Back to spending 24-7 at work and sleeping in conference slash server slash factory rooms. I must be super focused on XAI and Tesla as we have critical technologies rolling out. So Elon Musk then doubles down on the idea that he has to get back to work in non-politics-related spaces to save his business. He also thinks he's saving the economy. Elon Musk then says, I have come to perhaps the most obvious conclusion that accelerating GDP growth is essential.

Starting point is 00:04:53 He then says, at Doge, has and will do great work to postpone the day of bankruptcy of America. But the prolificacy of government means that only radical improvements in productivity can save our country. This dude has such a weird savior complex. He thinks he's going to save the country, the world, the universe. But one more time, Elon Musk is essentially saying, like he did in this. this tweet that Harry Sisson pointed out that he's trying to save the country from a GDP growth disaster while simultaneously enabling the politicians like Donald Trump who are hurting our GDP, ballooning our debts about to put us into an actual legit crisis with tariffs and the debt

Starting point is 00:05:32 and inflation. All of the stuff that is coming downstream from Trump's insanely unpredictable economic policy is antithetical to what Elon Musk claims he wants to achieve. He's saying he wants to accelerate GDP growth and that that is essential, but almost everything Doge did was the opposite. It was inefficient. It hurt us in the long term, and it was self-serving for Elon Musk. How does shuttering USAID, which saves 0.0, what, 4% of our budget or something like that, how does shuddering USAID, therefore allowing diseases to spread across the globe eventually to the USA's doorstep, how does that accelerate GDP growth? All of these things that Elon Musk is doing, like cutting nuclear stockpile workers, then rehiring them, but then maybe refiring them,

Starting point is 00:06:18 how does that accelerate GDP growth? That is very, very inefficient. Elon Musk just lies and lies and lies and hopes that people don't understand. But to continue with this, Elon Musk's social media platform X was largely restored for most users after an outage that impacted tens of thousands of users, including me, including many people on the app, according to outage tracking website, Down Detector. And now Elon Musk says he has been back to spending 24-7 at his companies. He's doing this to try to ease the minds of investors, number one, number two, because he flew too close to the sun in the White House. And number three, it seems like Elon Musk is genuinely convinced he's about to save the economy from a downfall,

Starting point is 00:07:01 as Harry Sisson points out. And again, he thinks his only logical solution is to spend 24-7 at work. One more time, this says, given the disastrous GOP bill, the only chance the USA has is explosive GDP growth. So they are just admitting right here. This person is admitting that the GOP bill is disastrous. And Elon Musk, again, follows a line of logic. And Elon Musk goes down and totally agrees. He then says, in four to five years, humanoid robots can have an actual effect on the GDP. This is Elon Musk's claim. He says, robot cars should have a noticeable effect in one to two years, but he's known for over-promising and under-delivering, as he's done with SpaceX, Tesla, Neurlink, and now Doge. Everything that Elon Musk has touched in the political sphere has turned
