Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, this is going to be an important video because there's been something going on that kind of scares me, and that is the normalization of Elon Musk and billionaires toying with our politics. For example, during the first week of the Trump administration, everyone was in shock, in awe, that there was a billionaire walking around the White House after he literally bought his way in. But after, what is it, three or four months, it seems like people are rather desensitized, or they're not talking about it as much, but I want to relentlessly talk about not only Elon Musk consolidating power, But then Elon Musk not paying the people he promised to pay after, you know, bribing voters in swing states.
Starting point is 00:00:36 But on top of all of that, this should be one of the biggest stories out right now. But there is a lack of coverage across all media sources. Elon Musk's regulatory troubles have begun to melt away in Trump's second term, meaning that there were over 40 different investigations into Elon Musk's companies like Starlink or Tesla or Neurlink to make sure that they were safe, to make sure the practices were up to the standards. And now all of those have paused or been slow walked or just done because of the amount of power that Elon Musk has. So I want to talk about all of this and make sure that our foot is on their neck, metaphorically, of course, making sure that they're not just getting away with this shit, that Elon Musk isn't able to walk around the White House while nobody covers it. So I guess let's start from the big story and then we can work over to Elon Musk getting sued because I do want to jump in and not waste any time.
Starting point is 00:01:26 So this says, the Trump administration has halted some regulatory matters involving Musk companies and fired people from agencies investigating Tesla, SpaceX, and NeuroLink. Now, I did a live stream on my substack earlier. If you want to be a part of the substack live streams, click the first link in the description. And someone in chat pointed out something very smart. They said, Trump, day three, on day three, fired 17 different inspector generals, and that opened the door to Elon Musk. then, number one, committing fraud, obviously, but number two, stopping regulatory agencies from investigating his companies because there were no watchdogs or inspector generals to make
Starting point is 00:02:07 sure everything was going according to plan. So, tech billionaire Elon Musk's regulatory problems have started to fade into the past. Since the start of the second Trump admin, federal agencies that had scrutinized Musk and his business empire in recent years have begun to look a lot different. At the Department of Agriculture, for example, Trump fired the person who had been investigating the Musk company Neurrelink. At other agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Trump and Musk have tried to slash the number of employees, potentially hobbling these regulators' abilities to enforce the law against companies, including Musk's Tesla and X.
Starting point is 00:02:45 But here's where it gets a little bit crazy. Okay, here's the key line. I'm going to jump one paragraph and read this. In more than 40 other federal agency matters, regulators have taken no public action on their investigations for several months, raising questions about whether those cases may have become dormant, likely due to Elon Musk's new power. In the past few months, Trump's Justice Department dropped a case against Musk's company Space X. The Labor Department canceled a plan civil rights review of Tesla, and another regulatory matter has just entered settlement talks with the National Labor Relations. board. John Michaels, a professor that teaches law at the University of California, said, you're not just going against Elon Musk. You're going against Elon Musk, who's puppeteering
Starting point is 00:03:31 large swaths of the federal government, referring to Musk's sweeping role as the White House advisor for the Department of Government efficiency. And this is just peak corruption. This is corruption in the most raw form possible because Elon Musk bought Twitter, changed it to X, and leveraged that to spread disinformation. He then spread disinformation to allow Trump to consolidate power, and Elon Musk spent hundreds of millions of dollars on key swing states to make this happen, because he knew that these billions of dollars that he's spending would be nothing compared to the return he gets after 40 plus investigations are paused.
Starting point is 00:04:09 He probably saved hundreds of billions of dollars after these investigations were paused, so who cares that he spent $40 billion on Twitter? It's called ROI. He saw a return on investment. and unfortunately, it seems like it's working. Now, to move on to this main story of today, Elon Musk getting sued, taking a page out of Trump's playbook, and just not paying people that he promised to pay. Before I jump in, if you made it this far in the video, all of this is possible just because of you all, just because you guys click on these videos and watch these
Starting point is 00:04:41 videos. So I do want to say thank you. And if you want to help boost this content about Elon Musk so we can push back, all that I ask is that you drop a like and double check to make sure that you're subscribed to the Atamakler channel below. A lot of people aren't actually subscribed to the channel. It's free. So this reads, three swing state voters are suing Elon Musk, alleging the tech billionaire failed to pay them the money promised
Starting point is 00:05:02 in return for signing a petition from his America pack. What Elon Musk did, he wasn't legally allowed to say, if you're a red voter in a swing state, I want to pay you to vote, but what he was doing is surgically targeting red districts, red areas, with Republican-leaning prompts. It's like, it'll say, hey, are you a strong advocate of the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms
Starting point is 00:05:27 and you don't want that taken away? Sign this petition. And of course, and of course, you can be a strong advocate for the Second Amendment as a liberal as well and want, you know, common sense gun regulations, but mostly Republicans would sign this petition. They were promised $100. And after they signed the petition, it registers them to vote and incentivizes them to votes. Elon Musk's America Pack failed to pay swing state voters after promising them money in exchange for signing a petition or referring
Starting point is 00:05:55 others to the petition ahead of last year's election in a new proposed national class action lawsuit. The October before the election, you guys likely remember this. I was covering this relentlessly. A lot of networks were covering this relentlessly. The three plaintiffs alleged that America PAC failed to fulfill its contract obligations
Starting point is 00:06:14 by not paying them after they promised to pay swing state voters, essentially paying them off. I mean, here's me asking a Trump supporter about these exact bribes. Take a listen. Do you think George Soros is like a force behind the scenes controlling everything within the Democratic Party? Oh, he gives a lot of money to them. So what do you think? I mean, I don't have to think about that.
Starting point is 00:06:35 Who's he giving money to? Do you think it's bad that a billionaire is controlling a party like that? In that respect, absolutely. His money is funneling. So all these people that really don't deserve it, it's not, there's no meritocracy anymore, okay? There isn't. Would you be okay if George Soros used his money and influence to buy Facebook and then use it to boost pro-Kamala information? No, I would not be happy with that.
Starting point is 00:07:01 What if he did a giveaway where you give $1 million away to people who register in swing states? Well, isn't that buying votes? Isn't that buying votes? What do you think about Elon Musk? I think he's a great guy. Really? You like him? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:13 You think it's okay that he's going? giving away a million dollars to voters in Pennsylvania? He's not giving away. He's doing a giveaway. Wait, wait. He's doing a giveaway. Kamala Harris, they give away money to go vote for her. Do they? Oh, come on. Come on. What is she talking about here? But you guys see the cognitive dissonance at play.
Starting point is 00:07:32 They will endlessly trip over themselves to justify anything that Trump and Elon do, even if it's illegal. And the craziest part is Elon didn't even pay out some of these things. Now, this was a different pledge. He had a few different scheme. teams going. One of them was a few people get a million dollars. They win a million dollars. But then it came out, the people who won were already pre-selected by Elon. But then he offered $47 for the 47th president, and then later $100 to voters in seven swing states who agreed to sign a petition pledging, quote, support for the first and second amendments,
Starting point is 00:08:06 according to a social media post about the offer. Participants who referred other registered voters to sign the petition were also offered money for each additional signee they referred. the three plaintiffs allege America PAC failed to fulfill its contract obligations by not paying petition signers in full, according to court filings obtained by fortune through court watch. The plaintiffs expect more than 100 class members to join the lawsuit owed collectively more than $5 million. This dude didn't even pay it off. Quote, the case is about a broken promise. Elon Musk promised supporters that they would be paid for signing a petition and referring others to do the same,
Starting point is 00:08:42 said the law firm representing the plaintiffs. Quote, our clients relied on that promise because they believed in Elon, but unfortunately that promise was not kept. It appears the promise was broken for many other reasons, or for many others as well, sorry. The lawsuit was filed last week in a federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, a swing state that saw $1.2 billion in campaign ads for the 2024 election. America PAC raised more than $200 million, much of it donated by its founder Elon Musk for Trump's campaign and then Elon use that to consolidate power. I'm going to leave it at that.
Starting point is 00:09:18 I want to say one more time, I appreciate everybody who clicks on these videos and watches with me. We are building a beautiful resistance.
