I have a really interesting story for you all today.
So Fox News has been relentlessly attacking one of my friends because he has a podcast where
he uses the fact that he's studying law to just tear down everything Trump does in a factual
and surgical way.
And this pisses MAGA off.
A clip of him went viral and now Don Jr. has attacked him.
Jesse Waters has attacked him.
Everybody has attacked him.
And I want to bring him in for a video to describe what it's been like and, you know, to get his
word out there because we are building a Gen Z network that is lean, mean, and is a media machine
that can push back against MAGA in a way you haven't seen before. So drop a like,
subscribe. Subscribe to Micah below if you want to check out his podcast and check this out.
It's Micah here filling in for Adam Mochler and man, I've had a crazy week. I've been attacked
by Donald Trump Jr., the Trump official Trump war room, Fox News, as you could see right here,
not once, but twice. And I want to show you the YouTube video that.
I got attacked for before I show you this clip so you can have a better understanding.
On my YouTube channel, you could see right here, I made this video with Olivia Juliana
about how Democrats win back young men. I wanted to get down to the bottom of this big issue
because the reality is in the last election, Democrats didn't do as well as they had done
previously with young men and I wanted to explore why that happened. The conclusions of the video
were relatively uncontroversial.
A lot of young men have an inaccurate perception of the Democratic Party.
They think that Democrats are not for them.
We talked about different things that alienate men
and also the informational environment that young men live within.
And of course, when right-wingers saw this video, they were pissed off.
One example is, as I mentioned, Fox News.
Check out this clip.
Look who else they're sending out.
I love young men
I love frat guys
and in that I realize
like even the ones that identify
as conservative
are almost always pro choice
they're almost always pro gay marriage
you'd be surprised at the number of them
who you support of Black Lives Matter
oh yeah whenever I'm on campus
I see Black Lives Matter flags hanging from every fraternity house
everyone and trans flags too
the Democrats were better off with
so here's a remarkable thing about that clip
Olivia says that a lot of the fraud guys that she knows are socially liberal.
They're not as conservative as many people think.
Now, despite the fact that they're socially liberal, many of them vote for conservatives.
They voted for Trump.
And a lot of right-wingers, I'm telling you, a lot of them attack me for this, including, as you see, Fox News.
But the truth is, if you look at polling data, she's 100% right.
If you pull men on abortion, if you pull men on gun control, and a variety of social issues that we associate with being either liberal or progressive, you see consistently, time after time, they're much more liberal than their partisan voting behavior would predict. And here's what I find so interesting. The attacks leveled against me and Olivia are based on this premise that these right-wingers are much more in touch with what young men think than me and her.
could possibly be. But they don't even know the basic facts about those young men's ideologies,
as shown by this clip. Let me give you more examples of people attacking me. This is the Senate
Republican Party. And this is another element of this response, which has been instructed to me.
As you can see here, Trump War Room, quoting Olivia, I love young men out of context.
Top Democrat activist and thought leader, Olivia Juliana, is now advising Democrats on how to win over
young men, she's not advising the Democratic Party. She's not an advisor for them in any sort of
official capacity. She is a person who came on my YouTube channel, which mind you had 3,000
subscribers. They're helping me actually grow right now with all the outrageous comments and
engagement they're giving me. But she's just a person expressing her view, but of course they
don't want to represent it that way, because the right-wing ecosystem is built on misinformation.
It's built on lying.
That is how they get all these viral moments,
all these seemingly crazy clips in people that they find around the internet.
They just lie about them.
And the Senate Republican account, the official one,
is happy to share those lies.
And mind you, the Trump Wharroom is one of the official accounts of the Trump campaign.
We already knew these people were liars.
Guess what?
They lied again.
Here's another tweet about this.
Donald Trump Jr.
You know, there was a point in time.
where being related to the president of the United States, being a prominent public sector,
meant that you cared about the truth, you cared about decency and respect.
But of course, that is not the time that we live in today.
Because Donald Trump Jr. is adding into this dog pile, attacking Olivia,
seemingly, as many of them were, for her appearance,
I 100% endorse this Dem activist being put in charge of Dem's campaign to appeal to young men.
so many of the attacks on Olivia, and to lesser extent, me, but also me, were not based
on the contents of what we were saying. There was no response to that. It was based on our
identity. And what I find so interesting is, don't we remember Republicans complaining about
identity politics? We were told for so long that this whole idea of just talking about people's
identity and how what you're saying is not valid because you have the wrong identity, we were
told that was the worst thing to do ever. It was the worst possible infringement on people's rights
and the least decent thing you could do. But that's all they do these days. They don't engage with
arguments. You remember one day, back in the days, they used to say facts don't care about your
feelings. Well, in the current context, all they have is feelings. They don't care about your
facts. They feel that you shouldn't have an opinion that disagrees with theirs. And they'll do
anything they possibly can to invalidate what you say without even responding to it.
More examples.
Guys, lives of TikTok, which isn't even on TikTok anymore, responded to my tweet, and they took
a clip, which was completely out of context, to try to make me look like I was saying
something different than what I was say.
So you can understand this situation fully.
I'm going to play a clip with a little bit of context that they excluded and let you know
the part they included so you can see how crazy it sounds.
I mean, we just don't message to men, right?
We don't message in a way that resonates to men.
Something that you kind of responded to that I've seen a lot is...
So to be clear, in this part in the video,
I am talking about a notion that she responded to
and I want to respond to,
which I'm about to explain what that notion is,
that we are collectively, both of us, going to respond to.
well the reason why republican messaging resonates with men is because men want bad things right so like men want to have sex and like own women right like they want to dominate everybody and republicans say you get to do that and then democrats can't say that so we just lost men it's over right so that is the part they included men want bad things men just want to have sex and control women that's the part they included without the proceeding context and not
Not only did they do that, another video on YouTube starts with that clip.
That video has like 600 or 700,000 views.
People all over the comments are saying, who is this guy?
He just thinks that men are bad.
This is what the Republican misinformation ecosystem does.
They don't interact with what you're actually saying.
They're not interested in good faith.
They're not even interested in the truth.
They're interested in creating boogeymen and they're interested in creating propaganda
and to keep people locked into their ecosystem of lies.
And that's what they did to me.
I'll play the rest of the clip.
Right.
Like, what are you talking about?
Like, a lot of times it will be men that are liberals who will, like, agree with that shit.
I'm like, dude, what are you, like, what is going on?
Like, we're, there's a lot of men that don't think that way, obviously.
And it's just such a negative view to take on, like, half of a human race.
It's crazy that people could watch the full video or they could watch the clip, which also includes that later part.
and not understand what I was genuinely saying,
which is that there's this notion that can be pervasive,
that men are just bad and we should write them off.
And I've seen some people that are on our side which have agreed with us,
which is an ultimately destructive mindset.
It's a very negative mindset.
And it's a mindset that we can ultimately not afford to have because we can win over,
I mean, I'm a young man, I'm a young man, I don't want bad things.
We need to fight for every single demographic group in this country.
Adam's another wonderful person.
he's a young man. A lot of young men don't want bad things. We need to speak to their
concerns. And that was the point that I was making in this clip. And yet they extracted the
absolute opposite point of what I was making on purpose. It was no accident. Let's continue.
So this is the tweet they made, Republicans' encouragement to want bad things like have sex
and own women and dominate everybody. It's interesting because that, usually when you have
quotation marks, you actually said the thing that they're quoting, right? I never said that.
That is not an actual quote of what I said. I'm, you know, maybe it's a minor complaint.
I think it's, it's important to actually use row quotation marks, but obviously right-wingers
don't care about that. Okay, Laura Lumer, just one other example of the terrible attacks
they have made on Olivia based on only her identity. They don't have arguments. They don't have
arguments. All they have is personal ad hominem attacks. And Matt Walsh as well, self-proclaimed
expert in American men, she never proclaimed to be an expert. And this is over and over and over and
again. There was a report by some right-wing account. This is a leading report, which is a fake news
organization that's right-wing. It puts out right-wing propaganda and said that Democrats chose
Olivia Juliana, as their lead in this $20 million program to win back young men,
completely and totally fictitious, but that didn't stop the entire right-wing ecosystem
from sharing it as if it was true. This is how these people work. And if there's any message
I want to get through to you in this short video, it is, they do not care about the truth.
use me as an example but I'm only I'm one of many this is just one example and I know it's so clearly
because it happened to me it can happen to you it can happen to anybody and the truth is it's happening
all the time they don't care about the truth like we do if something bad is said on our side what
happens we condemn it we don't agree with every extreme thing said on our side we try to have
spirited debates and we're trying to be nuanced we don't agree with every single thing
that our party does and disagree with every single fact which flies in the face of our party,
we're not blinded by partisan loyalty, but the other apparatus, the other side, they're not like
that at all. Facts are malleable to them. They'll shape their facts to fit whatever narrative
is most positive for them. And what they want, what they want is to present everybody on our
side as if we're hateful, deeply hateful, angry people who are completely and totally out of touch
and every time we try to make a point, they will use personal attacks and all of the anger
and frustration they could put upon us to shut us down and say we shouldn't have the right to
have an opinion because they don't want to engage with what we're actually saying.
