Starting point is 00:00:50 As Donald Trump's popularity rating continues to tank and as the stakes get higher for the Republicans closer to the midterms, we have seen some high-ranking players within the Trump administration meet their end over the past few weeks as they desperately vie for more popularity within America. We saw Greg Bovino leave his position as the Border Patrol agent, and we just got news today that Greg Pavino, former U.S. Border Patrol agent, who became the face of the immigration
Starting point is 00:01:19 crackdown, will retire at the end of the month. Greg Bovino is officially meeting his end in American politics, and thank God. That is some good news. We also know that J.D. Vance, who doesn't have a lick of charisma in him, can't hide, can't help but hide the disdain he has for the job Christy Noem did as DHS secretary. And I want to break this all down throughout this video because Christy Noem is gone. I mean, she got reassigned to some nothing position that they made up randomly on the spot. Greg Bovino is gone.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Tony Gonzalez, a MAGA representative, is gone. Marjorie Taylor Green is out of Congress. The coalition is for. fracturing and we're going to break this all down on the atomocular feet. Make sure you drop a like. Make sure you subscribe. And I want to start with a video from friend of the show, Rachel Cohen, who ran into Greg Bovino at a gas station in Minneapolis.
Starting point is 00:02:11 And I think this is a perfect time to play it now that he's, you know, set to retire soon. Just watch. Hey, fam, I was in Minneapolis. And look, we just stumbled to prawn Greg Bovino at a fucking speedway for a pre-Hague photo shoot. So good for him, I guess. For those following along at home, I have nothing against short men, but I do just. just have to report back there is about a four inch height difference.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Do you want to get closer so they can see? Oh no, sure. A little higher than for you. Still not the same. So Greg, you're standing right there in front of me, but to everyone following along at home, I hope you fucking eat shit. I hope this keeps you up at night for the rest of your life.
Starting point is 00:02:48 And no one fucking wants you here. Oh, fantastic language. There's children in here and your fucking vehicle asshole, choke. I love how we did the little bounce. when he was behind her, he literally tried to jump up in the air to prove that he was taller than she was saying. And at the same time, he says, there are children around, watch your mouth. This was the same week they tear gassed young children in Minneapolis and one had to be resuscitated. So goodbye, Greg Bovino.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Bovino was removed from his role as CPB commander at large in January and returned to his role at Border Patrol sector chief in El Centro. Now he is retiring very, very soon. This brings us on to Christy Noem. Not only can Jady Vance not hide her disdain, but we also have Democrats pushing for perjury investigations from the DOJ. Take a look. Two high-profile Democratic lawmakers are asking the DOJ to launch a perjury investigation into former DHS secretary, Christy Noam.
Starting point is 00:03:47 The referral is stemming from her testimony on Capitol Hill in front of both the House and Senate Judiciary Committees. Joining me now from Capitol Hill, MS now congressional reporter Michael Schnell. Michael, talk about these accusations against Noam. Yeah, Chris, this letter this morning coming from Congressman Jamie Raskin, the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, and Senator Dick Durbin, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee. And they essentially are asking the Department of Justice to investigate these allegations against Christy Noem, that she may have perjured herself during hearings before the two committees earlier this month.
Starting point is 00:04:22 It basically stems from four allegations of four areas where these Democrats, Democrats believe that Christy Noem. and perjure herself. First off, when discussing about the DHS complying with federal orders, Christy Noem said that DHS has indeed complied with federal court orders. Democrats say that there are plenty of examples of DHS defying those court-related orders, particularly pertain to the release of individuals from ICE detention. There's also allegations that stemming from that multimillion-dollar ad campaign that Christyne Hone was asked about.
Starting point is 00:04:52 There's a lot of corruption that's happening. And even Cash Patel perjured himself. on camera. I want you to look at this. We now know that when Cash Patel said about a few months ago, under oath that there's no credible information Jeffrey Epstein trafficked minors, he was lying. None. If there were, I would bring the case yesterday that he trafficked to other individuals. And the information we have again is limited. So the answer is no one? For the information that we have. In the files. In the case file. Cash Patel must not have looked at the files or looked at the case files because out of the millions of pages they've released, and we still have millions of more to see, we know that many people were victimized.
Starting point is 00:05:36 He even says thousands of people were victimized in the same hearing, yet it was just Gielane Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein. He lied. He was under oath and he very clearly lied. They all need to be investigated. Here's J.D. Vance subtly saying throughout this clip that, you know, Chris C. Noem didn't do a good job. He says at one point that the new leadership needed to allocate resources towards actual disaster relief, that they needed new leadership, essentially. Take a listen. And thank you. I'm Dina with CBS 17 right over in Raleigh. Eastern North Carolina, Western North Carolina, two communities that have been really,
Starting point is 00:06:11 really impacted by disasters. Hurricanes over eastern North Carolina, they happened decade ago, Western North Carolina, still dealing with Hurricane Helena Recovery. We heard from Governor Josh Stein several times that North Carolina has only gotten a fractal. of what other states have gotten in federal funding for recovery for both communities. Can you talk a little bit about what your administration is doing to help the people that are still out of their houses, still not having businesses the same? Yeah. So one of the things I love about Michael Watley is, look, he obviously is a Republican.
Starting point is 00:06:43 He's committed to the conservative agenda. He's a great guy, and obviously I'm aligned with him politically, but he's not afraid to say to me or to the President of the United States or anybody else, we've got to get these resources out faster to protect the people of North Carolina. So I actually, before you ask that question, I heard that from Michael Watley, and I actually talked to the Secretary of the Treasury because I knew Michael was going to ask me about it again when I saw him here today. The simple fact is we have made this a priority. We are going to get the resources to the people of North Carolina that are necessary.
Starting point is 00:07:14 We recognize that we recognize, frankly, that we needed the new leadership to hasten that delivery of to the people of North Carolina. Wait, one more time, he says, as Aaron Rupar quotes, we recognize, frankly, that we needed the new leadership to hasten the delivery of resources to the people of North Carolina. We think it's useful to have somebody come in and focus on some of this disaster and recovery relief. I mean, after the long list of crimes we just listed from Christy Noem, or alleged crimes, rather, it's pretty obvious what's happening.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Today, the simple fact is, we have made this a priority. We are going to get the resources to the people of North Carolina. North Carolina that are necessary. We recognize that they're, we recognize, frankly, that we needed the new leadership to hasten that delivery of resources to the people of North Carolina. A lot of people in the media have said that, you know, the reason why we made a change at DHS is because the Trump administration is backing off of its illegal immigration enforcement policy. That could be further from the truth. The reason that we're making this change is because Christy Noem has a great opportunity to serve in this new shield of the America's position. I think she's going to do a great job. The shield of the America's position that they made up the day they fired her, it wasn't even a real position officially when they removed Christie Nome. They said, we're going to define the details and iron out the details of this position in about a week.
Starting point is 00:08:38 It wasn't even a real position. It still isn't. It's a lie. And also, when he says that they didn't remove her for optics, or they didn't stop mass deportation campaigns for optics, the reporting says the opposite. White House tells House GOP to avoid mass deport. talk ahead of the midterms. And on the other hand, we think it's useful to have somebody come in and focus on some of this
Starting point is 00:09:00 disaster relief and recovery stuff and that's exactly what we're going to do. But I appreciate me. Because Christy Noem was not focusing on the disaster relief and recovery. This is what Christy Noem was focusing on this list. That multi-million dollar ad campaign that Kristy Noem was asked about. Yes. Noam during it said that Trump had approved of it. They point to an interview the president did afterwards with Reuters where he said he had no
Starting point is 00:09:21 awareness of it. also discussions about the competitiveness of that bidding process. This could be the one Trump corruption case where Christy Noem was actually doing it without his. There's apparently a few times where he said he had no clue what was happening. Obviously, he could be lying through his teeth to cover for her. But it seems like he genuinely got pissed when he found out that she did this. They also talk about Noam insisting that the United States does not detain American citizens. Democrats saying that there have been at least 170 U.S. citizens who have been
Starting point is 00:09:52 wrongfully detained. And then finally, when asked about the conditions at some of these ICE detention facilities, Noam said that DHS adheres to federal detention standards. Democrats, though, saying there's plenty of evidence showing that DHS is that ICE is not meeting those standards for detention standards. So I mean, Judge Schultz out of Minnesota said that ICE has violated more court orders in the month of January than other agencies have in their entire lives. ICE is a lawless institution. The administration knows that. That's why they removed Christyneau, but that is not enough. The American people will remember. We will all remember the images of Alex Prady and Renee Nicole Good being shot in the street of Minneapolis. We will all remember the
Starting point is 00:10:34 images of people being ripped out of their cars, seatbelts being cut off, glasses being broke, people are thrown to the ground, the ribs of 89-year-olds cracked because ice can't control themselves. We'll all remember that. On the atomography, we'll continue to cover it. Drop a like, subscribe. I'll see you on the next one. Peace.
