This is unbelievable.
We need to hold them accountable.
Not only the people guilty of the sexual abuse of little girls,
but now the pundits, the politicians, the people at the top,
trying to cover this up in a top-down way by shuddering the release of any files,
by not using their platform to talk about this,
or people who are blatantly just lying about it,
like the president of the United States.
Charlie Kirk, for example, is now declaring on his show,
he's done talking about this. He has no interest in the Epstein case, despite him being one of the people
that brought this to the forefront of culture and politics. Every single Maga pundit who used this
to rise to power and now is abandoning the entire Epstein list or the victims is sick. And this comes
at a time when Gislane Maxwell is now reappearing, now trying to appeal her conviction, and the DOJ
is furthering their cover-up. They are doubling down. Before we talk about these
mag-upundants and politicians who refuse to talk about this case, let's just start with the
breaking news. The DOJ just today rejected Gisland Maxwell's appeal in the SCOTUS response.
Maxwell was convicted by a jury in 2021 of five counts involving sex trafficking of a minor
and conspiracy. We've learned that there were 100, 200, even 1,000 different victims,
but as this number has increased, the amount of actual people committing the crimes,
decreased from just Jeffrey Epstein and Gislane Maxwell. But just today, the DOJ rejected the
case. You know what's bad when Fox News is even reporting on this. The Department of Justice
on Monday asked the Supreme Court to deny Jeffrey Epstein Associate Maxwell's appeal of her sex
trafficking conviction. So the Department of Justice, led by Pam Bondi, who was directed by Donald
Trump, let's just call it how it is, asked directly to appeal this. And the crazy thing is,
Maga won't talk about this.
This dude refuses to talk about it,
but we will hold them accountable on this show.
Really quickly, make sure you drop a like below,
and make sure you're subscribed to the Adam Akler channel.
I haven't been doing as many asks lately,
but 60% of the people who watch aren't subscribed,
so make sure you're subscribed below.
Let's play this in one second, but to continue.
Maxwell tried to appeal her conviction,
saying it should be tossed out for several reasons,
including that a plea deal Epstein reached
with the federal government in 2007 immunized her
and the statute of limitations had run out.
So Epstein reached a sweetheart plea deal with Acosta.
Alexander Acosta is somebody who was in the first Trump administration
and had to resign due to his association to Epstein.
I called this out on Pierce Morgan.
The party that promised to defeat the deep state very quickly became the deep state.
Pam Bondi says I have the list on my desk right here.
They're rather silent for a few months.
Then Elon Musk says Trump is in the Epstein list.
Then within weeks, apparently the list is gone.
I mean, I'm looking at this photo of Jack Posobiac holding up the Epstein files.
It says the Epstein files, phase one.
But where's phase two?
There's no phase two.
He actually helped Epstein be prosecuted.
He was the only person who was involved, kicked him out of the Epstein.
You know all this.
Like, it's just a very silly thing.
Have you heard of Alexander Acosta?
You were dup to cover up sexual abuse of children.
You were dup.
Alexander Acosta was a Florida district attorney.
You could look this up.
He knew both Trump and Epstein.
He was appointed as a secretary.
Secretary of Labor under Trump and had to resign in 2017 because people found out that
he mishandled the Epstein case in 2007 and let Epstein get an illegal plea deal.
Epstein was then able to go re-offend and Trump appointed him in 2017.
So I don't want to hear the dude that was brought to the White House to cover up sexual abuse
saying that there was, I don't know, like what are you trying to say here?
Yeah.
You're going to wipe your face?
Can you just wipe that little thing off your face there a little bit?
You got a little, hold on a second.
That dude was embarrassed.
He had no response.
none whatsoever. To continue, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit denied her appeal,
but Maxwell argued that circuit courts have issued disparate orders about what kind of immunity
is granted through non-prosecutorial agreements, such as the one Epstein received in 2007,
and that the Supreme Court should weigh in. The DOJ, and officials at the DOJ, have asked
the Supreme Court to not do anything. The DOJ rejects Gislein's appeal in the SCOTIS response,
And, you know, it's very, very clear.
The handling of the Epstein files by the Trump Department of Justice and Trump himself raised serious questions before, but this basically puts the nail in the coffin.
Any promise of transparency is thrown out the window.
This appeal is being shot down and covered up swiftly, but we're going to make sure that we talk about this relentlessly.
And, of course, mag pundits don't want to talk about this.
You know what's funny, Trump is now calling people.
trying to get them to stop talking about this.
CNN reports that Trump publicly threw all of his weight behind Bondi, as we saw,
but also privately, Trump has doubled down on his support for Pam Bondi.
The president called some of the Attorney General's most vocal critics over the weekend
in an effort to stem the bleeding over the Epstein files.
Trump's calls included one with conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Saturday to express his support for Bondi.
That call came as prominent MAGA supporters repeatedly criticized the attorney.
Attorney General at Turning Point USA's Student Action Summit.
Members of the president's inner circle have also reached out to some of Bondi's critics.
So they are calling Charlie Kirk and begging him to stop talking about this.
Charlie Kirk on October 7th of 2024, one month before the election, tweeted out,
vote Trump to release the list.
Then Charlie Kirk says, I'm done talking about Epstein for the time being.
This was after it was reported that Trump called Charlie Kirk.
Let's roll this clip.
Honestly, I'm done talking.
about Epstein for the time being. I'm going to trust my friends in the administration. I'm going to
trust my friends in the government to do what needs to be done, solve it, balls in their hands.
I've said plenty this last weekend. So if you guys want to see my commentary on it, that we are
watching in real time, the party that promised to drain the swamp, creating their own swamp.
The president just called one of the top pundits and said, hey man, can you back off and not talk
about this story as much? Then Charlie Kirk is now sending out the marching orders to just trust
the administration, trust the administration that lied to your face by saying they had the files
and months later saying the files don't exist.
But then saying the files do exist, they were just written by Obama, which is a terrible
argument in and of itself.
This entire thing is despicable.
To continue, I want to show you Mike Lawler, a representative saying that we should just trust
the administration.
Why do we even talk about this?
And as I said, if somebody did something, if there is evidence of a crime,
committed, then prosecute them. In the absence of that, what are we talking about?
You say there's a lot of nonsense. A lot of nonsense from whom? What do you think, explain to me
what you think the nonsense is here? Well, frankly, the fact that you're even covering this.
I mean, I don't even understand, frankly, why we're spending a lot of time on Jeffrey Epstein.
You know, the fact is he was a pedophile who was arrested.
He committed suicide.
And his, you know, fixer, if you will, is being prosecuted.
So at the end of the day, if there are people who were part of any crimes, then they should be prosecuted.
But in the absence of that, what exactly are we looking to do?
The information is there.
It is well documented what he did.
And beyond that, what exactly are we looking for?
Just so you know, it's being covered because the deputy director of the FBI is said to have taken off work on Friday to protest the Justice Department own handling of this.
And there have been shouting matches reported inside the White House.
He's asking why it's being covered like his party didn't bring this to the forefront of national.
politics. And also, we kind of want accountability. He's asking why this is being covered like
the DOJ didn't release a memo, what, a week ago. And since then, like the anchor points out,
Dan Bongino has threatened to resign. There has been mass chaos. There's a reason why we're
talking about this. It's not all fun in games. Maga may be surprised by that because they use
the Epstein scandal as fun in games, but we're not going to let this go. If you are committed to
doubling down, then let me know in the comment section. Make sure you're subscribed. I'll see you
all in the next one. We're going to continue to push relentlessly. We've done like nine, ten
videos today. Make sure you've caught all of them, and I'll see you in the next one. Peace out.
