All right, I'm excited to walk you all through the absolute meltdown that is happening in the world of MAGA. Right-wingers' heads are this close to exploding after Zohran Mamdami, a Muslim assemblyman from New York City, was just nominated as a Democratic candidate for mayor. He beat Andrew Cuomo. He beat the other field of candidates, and now he moves on to the general election. And of course, Maga's not happy with it. I interviewed Zoran a few months back. I've been covering his campaign. I'm a supporter of him, and I want to break down.

I want to break down how MAG has been reacting because here's the reality. 62% of Democrats within the party think we need new leaders. Think that our current leadership needs to be replaced. I don't even think age is a problem. There are amazing leaders that are in their 80s like Bernie Sanders. It's not even age that's the problem. It's just a certain type of reluctance or risk-averseness within the party. And this risk-averseness means we're playing it too safe, too close to the chest,

and we're just losing what makes us, you know, unique, gives us an edge and connects us to the average person. So finally, when we get a candidate who the people can rally behind, MAGA is pissed off. Look at this screenshot from Fox News. New York City Democratic Socialists declares mayoral primary victory. Now, Zohrod is actually a socialist this time, so they're not just making it up, but they've called everybody's socialist throughout the years. So that word doesn't mean anything to people who watch Fox News. and here's his socialist promises. No cost to child care.

That is horrific. Baby baskets to newborns, hell no. Newborns should have to pull themselves up by their bootstraps, right? Fox News viewers, $30 minimum wage, no, no, no. Workers need to be worked to the bone. Only Trump can get days off to golf. Obviously, I say that all in jest, but what is Fox News doing here? They think they can put up a picture of a brown person on screen, use the word socialist,

and then throw up three good things, and it just sounds scary because the word socialist is next to it? That's not how it works. Now, it continues to get even worse. Pastor Greg Locke said, New York City has fallen. The demonic sounds of Islamic prayer calls will soon be heard throughout the streets. The trash will pile higher than ever. Holy shit, straight Islamophobia, xenophobia. Jews and Christians will be hated.

Rape will sky rockets. New York City will be the next to London. my dad is Muslim my grandpa was born in Syria a lot of my family was born in Syria and moved to the United States the reason I say this is because I've heard a bunch of experiences from my family

my Muslim family not only post 9-11 when they began to move to the United States but even nowadays of people just not understanding what Islam is especially this more toned down westernized version of Islam my dad is definitely a lot more chill as a Muslim

than some people in the Middle East would be. So most New York City Muslims are going to be super chill people like Zoran Mamdami. Okay, to continue. This reads, Laura Lumer says there will be another 9-11 in New York City. Holy shit. And Zoran will

be to blame. Listen, Zoran literally just wants no-cost child care, baby baskets to newborns, 30-dollar minimum wage. Yes, he has ambitious policies but that's to help the cost of housing in New York City. And here's a difference. You can have common

sense disagreements with policy and not just go to racism. Someone said, I'm legitimately worried New York will go full on jihadi, Marxist. This came from Insurrection Barbie. I really need to be wrong on that one. Gays for Trump said they deserve what they vote for, no sympathy at all. Insurrection Barbie said true. I just hope it doesn't spill over to the rest of the country. What are they things happening in New York? Like literally, let me just look up a picture of Zoron Mamdami. This dude is like a smiley-ass motherfucker. He's just smiling. He's got like the cute...

He's just a cute dude. He's so nice. Look at this. And he's also incredibly warm and charismatic. Here is somebody saying this is like Gotham City now. I don't want to go here, but Gotham. If you've seen what Batman is up against in Gotham and what the guy running for mayor is up against... That's what it reminds you.

They're taking Wall Streeters and make him walk out under the ice in the East River and then they fall through. I mean, there is a class. class warfare that's going So what's happened? There's a class warfare and you're on the other side of it. As he was saying that, I think he began to realize, oh shit, this is what Marjorie Taylor Green posted. The Statue of Liberty and like a full body, Burka, basically.

What in the absolute fuck was Marjorie Taylor Green thinking in this post? This is pure Islamophobia. What do these people think is going to happen? Laura Lumer says there's another 9-11. And can I just point out the difference between actual. policy disagreements in pure racism. This is all pure racism. Here's the thing. I think Zohran Mamdani's platform is actually pretty brilliant, especially in regards to some of the housing policy. I interviewed him about five months back as he was ramping up his campaign, and I have

supported him all throughout the way. But I still have some policy disagreements on the way he wants to get there. I agree with the fact that housing should be cheaper. I agree with the fact that people should be able to earn a living wage. But for example, there's one policy that he's running for, there's one policy that he's running on where he wants to subsidize it using state taxes. And his idea is to raise the taxes of New York state. So he can subsidize this project. The only problem is a mayor can't unilaterally raise state taxes or implement new city taxes of this magnitude without state approval. And the governor of New York does not want to do this. So there are, genuine policy disagreements I can have.

I think that Zoran has amazing end goals, but he's got to refine the way he wants to fund these policies if he wants to create a long-term, genuine change within New York City. This isn't me doing some, like, Islamophobic racism, obviously. I have family that's like Muslim, but this is me saying there are genuine policy criticisms I have. In different ways we could get to this noble end goal of making New York City more affordable, cheaper,

and more equitable for the average person. But what I just laid out is very different than the tantrum that MAGA is having. This reads, Maga enters racist meltdown mode. Look at this dude's smile. He's so incredibly friendly. A progressive won New York City's Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday, sending the far-right media sphere into a tailspin. Zoran Mamdani's campaign platform was practically the opposite of the presidents.

And you know, I think this is a really good inflection point for the Democratic Party. We are now seeing new leaders rise, new leaders who are running on the agenda of affordable housing, of more abundance, supply-side abundance, meaning building more, building more affordable housing units. And I think that is a great, noble cause to pursue. Zoran Mondani's campaign platform is practically the opposite of the president, arguing for higher taxes on corporations and the ultra-wealthy, pitching new green initiatives for public facilities, making the city an LGBTIQIAP. plus sanctuary and advocating for raising the city's minimum wage. I agree with all of those things. Higher taxes on corporations, higher taxes on the ultra-wealthy, new green initiatives. These are great goals.

Like I said, there are funding mechanisms that we could refine a little bit, but that's a genuine policy criticism I have for somebody that I support otherwise, which this is a fair thing to say. It is also planned for Trump-proofing New York City. He also said he would arrest Netanyahu the moment Netanyahu steps foot in the city. these are the Democratic leaders that we need at the front of the party. This dude, Zoran, can go on to basically any podcast and win over Joe Rogan, Theo Vaughn.

He should do that ASAP as the general election ramps up. He should do that ASAP because he is a solid leader and he's charismatic. New Yorkers understand that Kathy Houchel and far-left socialist Democrats are destroying our great state, said Elise Daphonic on X. She then called him a radical defunds. the police communist raging anti-Semites. He's not a raging anti-Semite at all. He's not a communist.

I would say he's lightly socialist. He doesn't want to defund the police. He wants to reform them. And he's radical in the sense that he wants like no-cost child care. I mean, I guess some of his beliefs you can qualify as radically progressive, but radical is a loaded term. You can radically want to help the poor. That doesn't mean it's a bad thing. I'm going to leave it there.
