All right, as I make this video, the Senate is attempting to pass the, quote, big, beautiful bill. And because you guys have been out there using your voices, we have seen a host of Republicans suddenly come out in opposition against this bill. Because it's truly horrible. I mean, it's a terrible bill. And we got a very viral video from Senator Tom Tillis, a Republican on the Senate floor, basically raging about this right after he announced that he's retiring from the Senate. He's done, which opens a huge opportunity for Democrats in North Carolina in 20. So if you're in North Carolina, make sure you're registered to vote. I really want to show you this video and show you other Republicans that have just come out in fierce opposition to this.

Elon Musk, as I make this video, just tweet it out. If this bill goes through, I'm going to start another political party. So we're going to get into all this. of Senator Tom Tillis, let me show you quickly what Elon Musk tweeted just a few minutes ago. If this insane spending bill passes, the American party will be formed the next day. Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat Republican Uniparties so that people actually have a voice.

Elon Musk's main contention with this bill being that it explodes the deficit. We've seen estimates close to $4 trillion added the deficit over the next 10 years. Obviously, Donald Trump ran an entire campaign off like we're, you know, cutting wasteful government spending, we're, you know, going to cut the deficit, we're going to erase the deficit, all this garbage that obviously wasn't true. And now he's trying to pass this bill. It's kind of interesting. I don't know if like Elon Musk didn't know that Donald Trump just lies all the time

and these people don't actually care about the country. Not that Elon Musk does either. But I don't know if he actually believed Donald Trump was serious when he said he wanted to cut the deficit, but whatever. We obviously know Elon Musk is a mess anyways. I just find it fascinating that he's going to maybe bring his own money into this and start a new party. We will see. We'll certainly keep you updated.

And so his contention and everyone's contention, obviously, it's not only raising the deficit, but also I'm sure Elon Musk doesn't have a problem with this. The key winners in this bill are high-income households. The bill would greatly expand the amount of state and local taxes. Households are able to deduct from their federal taxes from the current cap of $10,000 to up to $40,000. The biggest beneficiaries from the change would be households making $200,000 to $500,000 a year and those that own property because they are likely to pay higher property and income taxes, according to an analysis by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.

It would also disproportionately benefit households in higher tax states like New York, New Jersey, and California. And the losers become lower-income households. Not only are the main tax benefits, because that's why the deficit is being increased to give a bunch of tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans, lower-income households, they lose. Provision in the latest version of the bill would cause nearly 12 million low-income people to lose their health insurance over the next decade by cutting around $1 trillion from Medicaid, a health insurance program for poor and disabled people, according to the CBO. So again, this bill, giving a bunch of tax cuts to the rich, taking people off of their health insurance,

cutting snap benefits, cutting food benefits. I think something that a lot of people also aren't talking about is the rollback of clean energy tax cuts. It's going to roll back tax credits under the Inflation Reduction Act that President Joe Biden signed into law, including for clean vehicles and electricity. That includes a last minute total repeal of federal subsidies to wind and solar industries unless the projects were placed in service before the end of 2027. and additional tax would be phased in depending on how much the products are manufactured in China. And they also added a tax incentive for coal production.

So this bill is also going to increase energy prices across the United States. Because believe it or not, things like wind and solar are actually cheaper than things like coal. But here we go. You know, this is the Republican playbook. Let's give a bunch of tax cuts to the rich as Americans and pump as many fossil fuels as we can into the environment. We're adding tax incentives for fucking coal production. excuse my language but that's insane this is 2025 i mean the bill is just awful okay so i bring you back to this video to senator tom tell us i want you to hear this rant because it's great

i really wish tom tillers didn't wait to talk about trump's lies until he was retiring but here we are take a listen i mean the state directed payments and the cuts scheduled in this bill there's a reduction of state directed payments and then there's the reduction of the provider tax They can't find a hole in my estimate. So what they told me is that, yeah, it's rough, but North Carolina's used the system, they're going to have to make it work. All right. So what do I tell 663,000 people in two years or three years, when President Trump breaks his promise by pushing them off of Medicaid because the funding's not there anymore, guys? When the White House, the signatures advising the president are not telling him that the effect of this bill is to break a promise.

Now, Republicans are about to make a mistake on health care and betraying a promise. It is inescapable that this bill in its current form will betray the very promise that Donald J. Trump made in the Oval Office, or in the cabinet room when I was there with finance where he said we can go after waste, fraud, and abuse on any programs. Exactly. Beautifully said. And the thing is, Senator Tom Tillis coming out against his other Republicans feeling the pressure.

And part of the reason they're feeling that pressure is because the American people are aware of what's going on. And the thing is, this isn't, you know, I think most Republicans, like if you were to share this video with a friend, most Republicans are going to say, oh, that's CNN polling. But this isn't CNN polling. Fox, the Fox polling is right here. Big beautiful bill, net favorability. Minus 21 from the Fox News poll.

I saw a Fox News poll yesterday on Fox and Friends. Opposed the bill, Fox News poll, 59% opposed. And you look at some of these other things. Underwater 19 points, underwater 20, underwater 29. Like Americans, both Republicans and Democrats, excuse my phone, I apologize, are, are, they think this bill is a disaster. They all know it's a disaster. And so if Republicans, depending on when you watch this, if they have passed this bill or they pass this bill, they will have to hear from their constituents.

They will. No question about it. People will be furious. And understandably, so. It's a disgusting bill. It's a huge transfer of wealth to the top 10, 5, 1% of Americans while frankly screwing over everybody else. So listen, do me a favor. Keep using your voice on this issue because it's working.

It is working. And again, I don't know when you're watching this video, even if the big beautiful bill manages to pass barely, as we continue down through this administration, you can very quickly make a difference if you're using your voice, talking to friends and family, sharing videos, making videos, whatever it is, because these Republican congresspeople, whether they're in the House of Representatives or the Senate, they have reelections coming up. They have to answer to their constituents. And if they keep making the wrong decisions, we will vote them the hell out. I promise you. So keep using your voice. Not all hope is lost. We got this.
