Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, wow, lawmakers were sick to their stomach after seeing the video of Pete Hegset ordering an alleged second strike on a boat in the Caribbean Ocean. Keep in mind, one out of four of the boats intercepted last year didn't even have drugs on them. So for every four boats that we strike, one of them is likely to not even have any drugs whatsoever. That is the problem with denying any sort of due process. Last year, we arrested hundreds and hundreds of people off of these boats without killing
Starting point is 00:00:29 anybody without any mishaps. Yet now, top military officials showed lawmakers a video of the second strike that could very well be a war crime. Every single day is getting worse and worse for Pete Hegeseth. And I want to walk you all through what today's been like for him. Make sure you drop a like. Make sure you're subscribed to the Adam Acler feed below so we can beat Maga Media. And let's go back to this morning. This morning, the Pentagon Inspector General just released an 84-page report on Pete Hegeseth using Signal to discuss sensitive military strikes in Yemen. Remember, he accidentally invited a random reporter to the Signal group chat, and it all leaked. The report found that Hegset's actions risked putting troops in danger.
Starting point is 00:01:12 So this is how Hegset woke up. He had his morning coffee, and he immediately had an 84-page report released about him. That's not even the worst that's happened before noon. In this report, unclassified Inspector General confirms that Hegset's, quote, transmission of non-public operational information to an unclear journalist and others two to four hours before planned strikes using his personal cell phone exposed sensitive Department of Defense information. In doing so, he risked potential compromise of sensitive DOD info, which could harm personnel. To continue, this brings us on to the strikes. I have to tell you guys this story
Starting point is 00:01:51 because it's going viral and it's quite funny. So Shank Uber said, there is no offensive coming from Venezuela. We have no idea who were bombing. Last time there were survivors, we had to let them go because they were all innocent. So to avoid embarrassment, we're just murdering them now, all for oil. Zankeuger is right. He's absolutely right in this situation. He's off on the mark a lot lately, but he's right. Some guy named the Misfit Patriot said, my brother died of a fentanyl overdose, you effing douchebag. And I don't know exactly which shithole third country had came from exactly. He used the word exactly twice. But I know for effing fact, it was the same shit on those
Starting point is 00:02:28 Venezuelan boats we keep blowing up. Each shit you propagandist, terrorists sympathizing cunts, well, he got ratioed out of oblivion. Project Liberal says, your brother was arrested for trafficking fentanyl. Do you think the government should have drone-striked him? And it's an
Starting point is 00:02:44 article talking about how a 36-year-old, Nicholas Bonfiliio, of Walpoli, was arrested for drug trafficking. He was one person arrested with a variety of drugs and weapons. and there were pills cut with fentanyl, as you can read right here. Many people may not have known the potency and overdosed.
Starting point is 00:03:04 The town rejoiced after this guy was arrested. He then committed suicide. Right Wing-Cope says your brother was arrested for fentanyl trafficking with a prior guilty plea for killing a man in 2005. He was not a victim. He did his part to stop fentanyl from killing Americans by committing suicide while out on bond. That is an extreme one. But, I mean, how are you going to sit there and call other people terrorist sympathizers and propagandists when you're sitting there lying?
Starting point is 00:03:32 This brings us on to what happened with Pete Hagsath just today. I mean, someone else said, we have to go to war with Venezuela because some fat guy's brother died from fentanyl. He thinks came somewhere from South America. Like, that's why we're going to war with Venezuela. It's absolutely ridiculous. Then, around the afternoon in D.C., representatives from both sides of the aisle, were briefed on the video of the alleged second strike. The claim here is just wild
Starting point is 00:04:00 that there was a first strike on this drugboat and as two people were clinging on to a fiery shipwreck trying to survive, they were disarmed, there was no proof that they even had arms in the first place. We had no clue who these people were, what they had on their ship, but they were non-combatants basically shipwrecked trying to cling on for life
Starting point is 00:04:20 and a second strike went in and killed them. Listen, I want a minimum. drug trafficking into the United States just as much as the next guy. But the facts show that since 24, over 400 drug boats have been intercepted in the Caribbean Sea with no violence. We haven't killed anybody. They haven't killed anybody. It has had no violence. And we're able to arrest these people and have due process like a normal civilized society. When you begin to erode due process by arbitrarily calling some people terrorists, we'll get into that in one second. But just read this. Representative Jim Himes, after being briefed on the September 2nd Boat Strike by Admiral Bradley, quote,
Starting point is 00:04:58 what I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I've seen in my time in public service. You have two individuals in clear distress without any means of locomotion with a destroyed vessel who are killed by the United States. We are supposed to set the standard we're supposed to. So when we continually lower the standard, it puts our troops at risk who are overseas. or who are in the risk of being struck. And by the way, it is so authoritarian to redefine terrorists because we're allowed to strike terrorists due to post-9-11 laws.
Starting point is 00:05:32 But it's so insane to redefine terrorists from somebody using political violence to achieve political means to just anything arbitrary. The Trump admin is using terrorist as a label that they place on people that they just want to kill. So they're calling drug traffickers who are bad people, but if they are drug,
Starting point is 00:05:52 traffickers, then that's not a political, what's the political end goal there? They're not using violence. They're just doing a business deal in their minds that is very, very messed up, of course, and should be stopped, but not through legal, illegal means, like striking them. Military officials showed lawmakers a video of a second strike on alleged Venezuelan drug boats behind closed doors on Capitol Hill on Thursday, with one Democrat saying, what I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I've seen in my times of public service. We already went over that quote, but to continue, General Dan Cain, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Admiral Bradley, head of the Special Operations Command, were on Capitol Hill to brief the leaders of the armed service and intelligence committees for both the House and the Senate. They're the ones who launched the, quote, vigorous oversight into the strike.
Starting point is 00:06:41 The briefings were expected to focus on the Trump admins campaign against alleged drug trafficking boats following the September 2nd strike. quote, any American who sees the video that I saw will see the United States military attacking shipwrecked sailors. Bad guys, bad guys, but attacking shipwrecked sailors. And yes, two things can be true at one. So I'm not for, nobody is for drug trafficking, but also there needs to be some standard because once you erode the standard, that doesn't, that doesn't bode well for us for our armed forces overseas. Heim's added, quote, now there's a whole set of contextual items that the Admiral explained. Yes, they were carrying drugs. They were not in the position to continue their mission in any way. People will someday see this video, and they will see that the video shows
Starting point is 00:07:25 if you don't have the broader context, an attack on shipwrecked sailors. But the broader context doesn't make it okay because these were non-combatants that were not at war with. And they're not even technically terrorists. That's not what a terrorist is. A drug trafficker isn't a terrorist. The video of the strike has not been shown publicly, but President Trump said yesterday he would support releasing it. The Pentagon has been under fire since the Washington Post released a report that the strike included a second attack. But the big headline here that a lot of people miss that I don't think I've mentioned throughout this video is that Pete Heggseth was the one who said, quote, kill them all according to the Washington Post report. Heim said Bradley told
Starting point is 00:08:05 lawmakers that that didn't exist, but the initial report quoted an anonymous source, I believe multiple anonymous source, that said, Hegset said that verbatim. So it's hard to know who to believe, but the strike has sparked bipartisan concern from lawmakers and pledges to investigate. I personally don't believe any of the narratives that Pete Hegg-Seth is pushing. I think everybody in the Pentagon has an incentive to cover their ass. So the only thing we can do here from here is have a full, thorough investigation into what happened. This strike was the first of the admins campaign. They committed an alleged war crime on their first strike.
Starting point is 00:08:42 That's how sloppy this is. I'm going to leave it there. but if you appreciate these videos, drop a like, subscribe. I'll see you all. Peace off.
