He called it a yawn. Dog, this is the first bill in almost 10 months that both sides have been able to agree on. All right, everybody, I'm just going to be straight up. I don't know how you look at this story and come to any other conclusion that's not Donald Trump hates this country. It is the only rational conclusion after I run you through the series of events that have taken place just this morning. Not only do we have new video of Mitch McConnell being pulled out of his house in a stretcher about a month ago before disappearing in front of the public eye, but Donald Trump also just shot down a landmark bipartisan housing bill that had the potential to help tens of millions of Americans. People in my generation, people in your generation who are struggling in this current economy just got screwed over by our president due to his ego.

Donald Trump's ego just screwed over tens of millions of Americans, and that defines the Republican Party for the past decade. Mitch McConnell, who is currently still in the hospital, reportedly brain dead on his last leg of life, Mitch McConnell has been restructuring these systems for the past two decades to only benefit the Republican Party, and for the past decade to only benefit Donald Trump. Now they are able to use this infrastructure to screw over so far. many Americans. I mean, before we jump into the Mitch McConnell piece, housing affordability is one of the biggest challenges facing millions of Americans, whether you're trying to buy your first home, whether you're trying to rent an apartment, or just keep up with rising housing costs, this crisis

is getting worse and worse. And we finally had an amazing bipartisan housing bill that Donald Trump just posted he is not signing. He said, I will not sign the housing bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House. And he's doing this. in protest of the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing the Save America Act. So he wants to rig our election, so much so, that he's willing to shoot down a housing bill that helps both you and I. If you're an American, this would help you either in the short term or the long term, and I'll explain how, and Donald Trump entirely shot it down. There are a series of clips of Donald Trump saying he doesn't even care about housing. He doesn't care about the cost of living.

This is Donald Trump on the White House front lawn. I don't think about American financial situation. I don't think about anybody. I think about one thing. He said he doesn't think about American's financial situation. He doesn't think about anything. Will you sign that housing bill? I have that.

It hasn't been sent to me yet. It's coming, I understand. And then I'll make it. Then I'll make it. Here's what I would like to sign. Much more than a bill, a big deal. It's a yawn. Some people say, it's wonderful.

To me, compared to the Save America Act, just about everything is a big yawn. He called it a yawn. Dog, this is the first bill in almost 10 months that both sides have been able to agree on. The last bill that both sides agreed on was allowing food stamps to be used for chicken in particular. Republicans fought tooth and nail against it, but we finally were able to come together in a uniquely rare moment and help the American people legislatively. Finally had another chance to do that, and Donald Trump is shooting it down, calling it a yawn due to his own ego. What about this clip? Elections. What are your plans for the housing bill, Mr. President?

I don't know. I think it's so unimportant by compared to the Save America Act. I think the Save America... What do you mean housing is unimportant? Do you know how many Americans are hurt by the current housing crisis that really aren't affected by the Save America Act one way or another? I mean, this is what Donald Trump's really saying. He's saying, if you don't allow me to lock minorities out of certain elections and make it harder for people to get their ID, make it harder for people to vote, then I am not going to let the housing bill that you guys are agreeing on pass. Now, thankfully, there is a mechanism by which the housing bill can still go into law without Trump signing it, but I don't want to hear Republicans or Trump take credit for this bill for even one second.

Donald Trump is threatening to derail the Road to Housing Act, the most comprehensive housing reform legislation in decades. This comes from the center of new liberalism. They broke down the act. The bipartisan support for the 21st century Housing Act makes strides towards lowering rent and creating homes for Americans. But Trump is interstate. fearing with it. It will lower housing costs by removing red tape and incentivizing more building.

It will rewrite the zoning rulebook to fund updated zoning codes in regulatory processes without wasting money on administration and incentivize this building by rewarding local governments that grow housing supply and create federal block grant dollars. This sounds pretty damn good to me. You know who else that sounded good to? All of the Democrats in the House, all of the Democrats in the and most of the Republicans in the House and Senate. This was largely bipartisan. I think like 12 Republicans maybe held off in the House. There's always a few that have these problems.

But both sides were able to come together and agree, except for Donald Trump. Because he doesn't care. He's narcissistic. And he's okay with rooting this country for his own egotistical reasons. Build more, get more. This says. Federal Block Grant, dollars now follow the communities that build. Original proposal.

Builders earn bonus funding. jurisdictions that stall buildings lose 10% of their allocation, and up to 20% of block grant funds can go to brand new affordable construction. Bigger loans to build bigger. FHA multifamily per unit loan limit jumps 75% to match rising construction costs. More units will be built. The cost will be lowered, and here's Donald Trump saying, he doesn't care. There's so much talk about, oh, we're going to drive housing prices down. I don't want to drive housing prices down. I want to drive housing prices up. Lord have mercy. People wonder why young voters are so apathetic to the current political system. It is exactly because of this. It's people like

Donald Trump, who's 79, 80 years old. I think he just turned 80. It's people like Mitch McConnell, who's about 119 years old, and we don't even know if he's currently alive. They are rigging the system and rigging the rules for people who already have money, who already have wealth, who already have housing, who have already accumulated capital. And then they wonder why other generations that are younger who can't accumulate capital, who can't accumulate housing, and who are in debts, are turning against this current system. There is this reductive view that keeps coming from people like Trump

or Mitch McConnell or even like Scott Jennings. They say that all young people on the left are socialist communists who hate America. That is not true. People on the left who are younger across all ages are disillusioned and apathetic towards a system that is currently not working for us. Housing costs are going up. For people my age, housing is getting increasingly farther away. I'm even in a uniquely privileged position where I run a media company, I own a media company,

I have a great team around me and the best audience in the world that helps me keep building. And even someone like me who's in like a decent position has trouble finding housing that is affordable. Rent is insane. Housing costs are insane. So imagine somebody who graduates college with a bunch of debt, sometimes even medical debt, student debt, all of this, and can't afford their rent or housing. Then Republicans wonder why young people are turning against this system. If you want young people to be invested in capitalism, maybe let young people accumulate capital before you go around saying stuff like this. Like you want to drive housing prices down.

I don't want to drive housing prices down. I want to drive housing prices up. This is insane. You know at the beginning of the video, how I said that, D. Donald Trump hates America, and I said there's no other conclusion you can come to, I want to double down on that. I know for a fact that this man doesn't actually care about helping Americans, he wants to ruin the country. This brings me on to Mitch McConnell. This is a video that was just released to the public from about 25, 26 days ago when Mitch McConnell was originally hospitalized.

Over the past 25, 26 days, we have not seen any proof of life. Mitch McConnell's neighbors have said that he has been missing. Nobody has been in or out of their house in D.C. Mitch McConnell's wife, Elaine Chow, is currently on a trip to China, and while she's in China, she doesn't have the next-of-kin rights to decide what to do with Mitch McConnell. Republicans are lying about Mitch McConnell's state saying that he's having lively 20-minute conversations, when even if Mitch McConnell is recovering,

even if he ends up showing his face in public in the next week and he's totally fine, there is no way this dude was having 20-minute conversations. The reason why they are covering. this up is because they do not want Kentucky Governor Andy Bashir to hold a special election. You know what I think he should do? I think Kentucky Governor Andy Bashir should play the game, how Republicans play the game. He should say, if you don't show proof of life of McConnell being alive within the next 24 hours, he will force a special election in the state of Kentucky and force Mitch McConnell's incompetent ass out. Now, of course, there's legal repercussions there.

There are a lot of bureaucracy. There's a lot of stuff you have to go through in order to do that. But isn't that what Republicans would do? The Republican Party, including Mitch McConnell, would literally not hesitate a second before deciding to just hold a special election. In the state of Texas, Governor Greg Abbott waited months to hold a special election because he wanted to maintain power in the state. If you think we should do that,

if you think Kentucky Governor Andy Bashir should just give an ultimatum, 24 hours proof of life or else we hold a special election, then make sure you drop a like. Help boost this video in the comment section. But on top of all of this, Mitch McConnell is somebody who has rewired our political system in such a negative manner, in such a disproportionate manner

that helps white people who are rich and Republicans and hurts everybody else in the country, women who need abortion access, minorities who want to vote. Mitch McConnell has been playing the game like this for the past decade. I think we flip it on them. I think we have to play with some juice, with some vigor, with some relentlessness,

with some ruthlessness. That is the word that I'm looking for. And when Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are uprooting our housing system, when Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump are screwing over our country and our ability to vote, then yeah, we should fight back. We should absolutely continue to push back. Now, we don't know what the status of Mitch McDonnell is. Here's the full video of him being carried out on a stretcher.
