Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, everybody, you are in for a wild ride today. There is an interview with the President of the United States that is going viral all across the Internet because of how bat-shit crazy it is. With each answer that he gives, he rambles on more and more, makes less sense and becomes more utterly deranged in his entire worldview. Brian Stelter of CNN says, Before you do anything today, you should read the transcript of Times' brand-new interview with President Trump. And read it, we will.
Starting point is 00:00:31 We will go on a deep dive into this interview with Trump as it is written. And there's gonna be times where it makes no sense, but that's because the president is not making any sense. It's honestly hard to read at certain times, but we will do the deep dive. And if you appreciate that and want to help bring awareness, make sure you drop a like.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Make sure you subscribe to the feed below. We are one of the fastest growing YouTube channels in the political space, and you can subscribe below to continue to push us forward. The Republican Against Trump account on Twitter. Trump account on Twitter says, this time interview with Trump is one of the most insane things I've ever read. Trump's cognitive and mental state is clearly deteriorating by the day. If this were your grandfather, the family would be having a serious talk. So this is a big interview. This is a
Starting point is 00:01:16 serious moment. And I agree. I mean, Trump is basically the grandfather who needs his car keys taken away. And the Republican Party's entire pitch for the midterms is, hey, give us a brand new car. a new set of keys and we promise Grandpa won't drive the country off of an effing cliff again like he did the first two times. It's absurd and Donald Trump has already destroyed basically everything. I also want to point out he has been sleeping in the Oval Office day after day after day. I'm not even talking about like slightly, you know, dosing off, which that wouldn't be fine either for the guy that always says Sleepy Joe and who started a war, but I mean he is actually passed out in the Oval Office. He is just completely sleeping. It's probably because he's staying up late nights, sending out hundreds of true social posts.
Starting point is 00:02:06 Literally, I'm not even exaggerating. Like, 50, 60 truth social posts by midnight. Then he keeps going throughout the night, likely with the help of Natalie Harp, his top eight. But that's a separate story. I want to read to you this Time Magazine article, and there are some clips that we have accompanying it already. For example, Donald Trump was already asked
Starting point is 00:02:26 about some of his statements on AI, and inflation. So again, drop a like below. Let's just jump in. He gave this interview on September 28th. They talk about AI, the war with Iran, and more. So he gets asked about his dinner with Dario, who is the CEO of Anthropic. Time says, I'm curious about your dinner last night with Dario. Trump, oh, then yes, exactly. Do you still agree with his views on what he calls AI safety? I spoke to him about his views. They're much different. I think, than what is portrayed in the media. First of all, I liked him and his wife a lot.
Starting point is 00:03:02 They had dinner, and we were going to meet at seven, but I was at the big president's cup. I was the chairman in the Chicago of Marion, which is great. Actually, that was, yeah, Medina. At Medina last year, Marion, this time of year, it was really great. And so I called, I said, could we make it a little bit later? He actually saw the helicopter land, so we made it a little bit later. We got in about 10.
Starting point is 00:03:22 We stayed for more than two hours, talked about a lot of things, very smart guy, maybe a bit different than I thought. Now, there's a clip that's going viral of Donald Trump with Dario. I believe the day after this meeting happened when all of the AI leaders met together. Trump met with Dario separately and privately. Of course, this is just utter deranged bullshit slop that Trump is spewing out of his mouth. None of this made sense. He talked more about the President's Cup than anything AI-related,
Starting point is 00:03:49 and he even found a way to put his helicopter pad somewhere in there. Let me play for you this clip of Dario, quite literally removing himself, from the situation when Trump begins to attack the press. It's going super viral because there's a moment where Dario literally backs up and puts his hands up entirely and says, I don't want anything to do with this anymore. Just take a look at this. It's kind of hilarious. Everybody he says is okay, be careful. A slow down to AI. So I just want to hear from you after this big summit where you are today.
Starting point is 00:04:20 Look, I mean, I will say what I've always said, which is that AI has incredible benefits. I've talked about the medical benefits to the technology. As the President has said, whoever wins AI wins, I think that's very important. But I think the technology has very real risks. And the mechanism, how we address those risks, is still under discussion. But we all need to work together to make sure
Starting point is 00:04:46 that we can win and we can win safely. If we do this right, we work with the President and everyone here, we can win safe. Do you think that self-policing is enough? And he had a view, hold it, hold it, oh, CNN fake news. Do you think that self-policing is enough? The worst. Look, Dario has been fantastic.
Starting point is 00:05:07 We had dinner the other night. And he agrees with everyone. I mean, we all agree. Mark had a- So Trump held a meeting where a lot of the AI CEOs were kissing his ass. There's even a moment here where you see him whispering and pulling Mark Zuckerberg aside. Watch. Look, I mean, I will say what I will say, what I'm.
Starting point is 00:05:23 I've always said, which is that AI has incredible benefits. I've talked about the medical benefits of the technology. As the president has said, you know, whoever wins AI wins, I think that's very- They're just like buddy buddy. He grabs him, whispers in his ear a little bit. They're talking, they're smiling. And then the really funny moment is when Dario completely removes himself from the situation.
Starting point is 00:05:45 He does not like to be associated with that. So I just wanted to point out the context between Donald Trump and Dario's relationship. He says, regarding AI, look, I say, if you're gonna seek regulation, they can put you out of business. Now, you do have to be responsible for yourself. And there aren't a lot of people
Starting point is 00:06:04 that understand what's going on. This is a new one that is much different than people have ever seen before. Bro, none of this means anything. These are platitudes. This is a new one that is much different than people have ever seen before. My attitude is, we're winning against the world by a lot
Starting point is 00:06:19 and I wanna keep winning. Someone says, I'm keeping. curious what exactly is going on with all these meetings with these AI leaders. And Trump's response is, well, look, you know, this isn't like I'm building a building, which I can do out of my back pocket. It's easier to do that for me. It's what I've been doing. This is a whole new world. Probably mostly good, but some bad, too. It's a very powerful world. It's a very potentially really could be good for medical. I mean, some of the things they're coming up with now, they've never even thought about. Bro, what does that mean? Some of the things they're coming up with,
Starting point is 00:06:52 with now they've never thought about, this is a scandalous interview. Like, I think that's fair to say this interview should be as big of a deal as Watergate. And I'm not saying that to minimize what happened with Watergate and the subsequent cover-up of the break-ins and the lying from our president at the time. But, I mean, I think that this scandal in and of itself matches that level. The president has no fucking clue what's going on with the biggest issues of our time that he is involved in. He says, um, this is a whole new world. Mostly good, some bad too. They're coming up with things that they never even thought about, but with good comes bad and we want them. We want all of them to behave for themselves. Tomorrow's meeting. What time is tomorrow's meeting? Two, Natalie Harp says
Starting point is 00:07:37 noon in the east room. Trump says, so we have everybody. Give me a list of the people at the meeting. So now enters Natalie Harp. Natalie Harp is in the room with Donald Trump. And this is only a few days after we got new photos of Donald Trump basically screaming at Natalie Harp, getting really mad, looking unhappy with Natalie Harp right there, pointing at something mouth wide open. I mean, I have no clue what he's saying there, but let's continue. Can I ask, Mr. President, we had a good evening the other night, three nights ago or two nights ago. Given the news this week, I have to ask, why should Americans believe that you respect the free press when you're restricting access to some of our colleagues to the White House?
Starting point is 00:08:18 No, but say a little louder. Why should Americans believe that you respect the free press when you're restricting access to the White House to some of our colleagues? And Trump says in response, because I do respect the free press. By the way, you notice that he couldn't even hear what the interviewer was saying. Trump says, because I do respect the free press,
Starting point is 00:08:36 but I don't respect fake news. Wow, okay. So he can just arbitrarily say that this news channel is fake news. I'll give you an example. CNN and MSDNC, which is MS now. They change the name because it does. so poorly. But I won the election. I won it handily by massive numbers. I won the popular vote. I won all seven swing states. They said if you won three swing states, I won all seven. I won the
Starting point is 00:08:57 counties. It's very important. 86% of the popular vote, everything, and very conclusively, I haven't had a good story on CNN for years. If I do the finest thing, if I find a cure to cancer, they would say, why doesn't he move quicker? All right, pause. Side note, Trump is actually defunding cancer research across the nation, so that's just a bullshit example. But he continues to rant about his grievances, actually answering it. So he gets asked, why should we believe that you respect free press? And he says, essentially, a bitter-ass rant for two minutes. He goes on the most bitter rant possible about how he hates the press. Then the reporter says, are you going to ignore the courts when they say this denial is? And Trump said, well, actually, the court actually said that.
Starting point is 00:09:38 If you look at the judge's decision, he's been a very anti-Trump judge, which is very interesting. But if you look at his decision, he really said process. He's talking about come back to us with process. He's a Trump-appointed judge. He was appointed by you, says the interviewer. Yeah, he was. He was. It's one of those things. It's crazy because a lot of the Trump-appointed judges are striking down some of his worst impulses because they were appointed during his first term when there were still somewhat guardrails to who he could appoint. And now his entire litmus test is appointing election deniers who will agree with him on everything. You don't think you're ignoring what he ordered you to do. You don't think you're ignoring his order? Says the
Starting point is 00:10:17 reporter? No, I'm not. I'm not ignoring his order. I'm just saying that when I don't have to go out my way, these people write only bad stories. When they say order is what order? I'm not even aware. Stephen Chung, the comms guy, then butts in. The judge basically ordered them to renew their access back to the White House, but that's different than allowing the pool into events and the all of office in Air Force One. Trump, he actually said the premises of the White House, the reporter. Can I just ask, why now? You've had this contentious relationship with the media for a while. What was the impetus to doing this at this moment in time. Trump said, well, it's just bad story after bad story. And when I say bad story, I can handle bad stories. I've gotten a lot of bad stories. Most of them are fake.
Starting point is 00:10:57 It's not only CNN. It's not only MSDNC. It's a lot of other people. Let's talk about the war and Iran. Just to finish, Trump says, because I don't think anybody should be forced to bear fake news, constantly bad stories, because I've done great things. I mean, I've done Venezuela. I've done, I can name, I can name 100 things I've done. I never get good press. I never get fair press. Doesn't have to be good. All it has to be is fair. So at a certain point, you say, what's the purpose of like this crazy Caitlin Collins? She's a very average person.
Starting point is 00:11:27 She's the most unhappy young person I've ever seen. If I did something spectacular by any standard and they would write about it, they would only write badly. Sometimes I'm amazed at how they can, you know, yesterday I got tremendous applause to massive crowds. Okay, pause. Holy shit, our president is demented. He's personally going out of his way to attack Caitlin Collins,
Starting point is 00:11:46 as the most unhappy young person he's ever seen without even answering any of the questions. Then the reporter tries to talk about Iran and he cuts off the reporter to continue to air his grievances about the press. Again, this is 25th Amendment territory. This is bat-shit insane. Trump has been continuing to attack the press
Starting point is 00:12:04 over and over when they ask him fair questions. Now, later on he gets asked about inflation, and I'll play this clip of him talking to the press about this, but he immediately gets combative in all of the clips of today. The reporter. Isn't it a founding principle of the country that the press is supposed to hold government
Starting point is 00:12:23 and those in power accountable? Do you believe in that? Trump, it is. But they got to treat you fairly. You know, when they write stories that are knowingly false and everyone knows NBC's, NBC's bad too, but CNN is terrible.
Starting point is 00:12:34 MS now changed their name because they have no friends. Is this a real sentence from our president? MS now changed their name because they have no friends. Bro, what? Okay, so, Well, let's shift to the war in Iran.
Starting point is 00:12:48 There's a lot going on over there. You initially said the war would take about six weeks to eight weeks. We're now entering the seventh month. Can you explain why it's taking so long? Trump says, only because I wanted to go further. I took them out. I could have stopped then, but I wanted to go further. I didn't want them because I met my timeline.
Starting point is 00:13:04 If you look at what I did, when we bombed the sites with a B2 bomber, like when we bombed those sites, I call it nuclear dust, was under 1,000 tons of rubble. I could have stopped there. And I felt it was appropriate because, And they were itching to go on with their lives. If not there, someplace else. Dude, I'm sorry, this is like hurting my head.
Starting point is 00:13:21 It's like a scramble of words. Their inflation is 300% or something. Their Navy is gone. Their Air Force is gone. So he's basically just repeating the same talking points. I've said this many times to you guys. The definition of winning a war is not just destroying a 50-year-old Navy. The definition of winning a war is extracting concessions from your opponent via military force.
Starting point is 00:13:42 We've extracted zero concessions from the Iraq. You know, that's how the famous blow up with Scott Jennings happened. Someone says, do you think American people misunderstood that? I feel like most purple people heard you say four to six weeks. And Trump says, no, the press fed them to that. Well, guess what? We have the receipts. Donald Trump said many times it was going to be six weeks.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Here's Trump himself saying the war in Iran would only be four to five weeks. already substantially ahead of our time projections, but whatever the time is, it's okay, whatever it takes, we will always, and we have right from the beginning, we projected four to five weeks, but we have capability to go far longer than that. And far longer we have four to five weeks, he said, to continue with the article.
Starting point is 00:14:40 On that note, were you aware, February that they would likely, they being Tehran, were likely to retaliate by closing the straight of four moves, asks the journalist. There was always a threat they had, and it worked out for a little while, but we basically closed it on them. They said we're going to close. I said, well, you close it. You're going to have big trouble. We took it over. You have to see the coastline. Everything is obliterated. They don't have radar. They don't have any aircraft, nothing. I hate the New York Times saying how well they're doing, and it's crazy. Their whole military is gone. Their radar is gone. And the military, in the New York Times, keeps writing about how well they're doing.
Starting point is 00:15:14 They have no money. They have no value of money. They have nothing going. And just fake news. Fake news. And maybe they'll be next. So Trump then goes on a side tangent and seems to imply that the New York Times is the next to go, saying maybe they'll be next. This is just fully batshit crazy and authoritarian.
Starting point is 00:15:32 And don't worry, I'm not going to bore you for like two hours of this. But it's worth at least just knowing the state of mind of the president of the United States. Last week you said you might annihilate Iran. That was the word you used. Yeah, I would do that. It's possible. You've made many versions of that threat before. You've also called yourself the President of Peace. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:51 How can the President of Peace be calling for the annihilation of an entire people? Because by annihilating Iran, we've created peace in the world. With Iran, I don't think you could ever have peace. Are you talking specifically about the government, the Islamic Republic regime? What about the innocent people? Trump says they killed 75,000 people. in the last number of months. Protesters, innocent, unintelligible.
Starting point is 00:16:14 A lot of very good people. They killed anywhere from 70, 72,000, 75,000. I mean, we have many reports saying it went from 20,000 to 30,000. That's likely the death toll. 35,000 were some of the upper range estimates. I haven't seen any saying 75,000. Now, I'm not trying to downplay it. It's still horrific.
Starting point is 00:16:35 35,000 people massacred is crazy, but Trump continues to rant, over and over and over. Do you not, do you regret not going into Iran or doing some operation like last January? No, I think we've done an incredible job with that. So now, so in Vietnam, with those massive numbers of people, I mean, this is insane.
Starting point is 00:16:53 This is just like almost tiring me out. We're going to come to that. Then Trump says, we're selling millions of barrels of oils. That's ours, and it's been amazing. We fought that war. It was less than one day. It was over. We're doing very well in Iran too.
Starting point is 00:17:07 Then, one last question. One last question. Last on this question. Over the weekend, you rejected a ceasefire proposal from the Iranians, asks the Times reporter. Can you tell us why you did that? Trump says, because things that I wouldn't have approved a year ago, I wouldn't have today. Can you give us an example? I mean, it was they made an offer to open the straight. You know, you saw some aspects of it, not all. But it's just, it's not good enough, not nearly. So right there, he admits, Trump admits, the straight of Hormuz is closed. He says they made an offer to open the straight. Are you going to ramp up bombing after the midterms? There's been reports of that. Possible. Are you considering that? I can't tell you that because look, you know, you're asking, where are you going to bomb? But it's in consideration?
Starting point is 00:17:49 We have a lot of weapons. You know, we've been stocking out for the last six months. Biden gave away massive amounts of munitions to Ukraine. Can you tell us a bit about that? Because there was an official DOD report about munition shortages and having to spend money. I would say it was mostly fake news. What was true about it? Some forms of ammunition are a little bit lower than other forms.
Starting point is 00:18:07 We have that middle ground. that middle grade and upper middle grade, which is very powerful, which is stronger than it's ever been before. President Zelensky wouldn't take, but it's very powerful ammunition. I mean, this is bad shit. Crazy. He then goes on and refuses to have a deadline for when the war is going to end. Then he gets asked, do you think the Israeli people should give Netanyahu another term? Trump says, well, I can only say that I'm not involved in politics anymore, except that we're popular. You're very popular in Israel, says the reporter. 99% I think what happens is in two and a half years I go to Israel I've done a lot for them done a lot
Starting point is 00:18:43 I've done a lot a real lot should he have another term regarding Netanyahu if you think including the capital of Israel to the embassy including our beautiful mount on high You know that's been in a dispute for forever. I mean including defending them you know Israel wouldn't have been able to defend itself Against that power. It says it seems like you're doing a lot of work for him should he have another term? No my primary thing I do want to have help them defend Israel. My thing that I mention all the time is Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. So Trump is basically dodging around whether or not he wants Netanyahu to have another term. They're rapacious and repressive regime, no question about it. If Gaddi Eisencott were to win an election in Israel, could the U.S. work better with him than Netanyahu? Well, I don't know. I don't hear bad things about him. It's that the one who's, and then he gets cut off,
Starting point is 00:19:33 former chief of military, he's leading contender to Netanyahu. You think he's leading? He's the leading opposition candidate, says the reporter. Well, people have written BB off many times. Many, many times. Just like they've written off me many, many times. I wouldn't underestimate BB. Yes, there were reports after the Houthi attacks that Saudi Arabia wasn't pleased that the U.S. didn't come to its defense. What's your relationship with the Saudis now?
Starting point is 00:19:57 Trump then says, good, good, I've done a lot for Saudi Arabia. He then gets asked about inflation. Your pick to lead the Federal Reserve. He just oversaw a unanimous vote to raise. raise interest rates. Obviously, you've been very opposed. You want lower rates. And Trump actually asks, this just happened? The president of the United States is confused on when the Federal Reserve is even holding a vote. He goes, this just happened? And the reporter goes, no, the one that happened a week ago or so, but they've suggested they may raise rates again by the end of the year.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Trump says, I don't think they should. Do you regret nominating worse? Well, he's controlled to a certain extent by the board. You know, you have Obama and Biden picks on there. You're too late on that. Too late. We have Lisa on there. We have a lot of, so he still has your confidence. We have a lot of people on there that would love for our country to do badly. It's become very political. So Trump has been attacking the figurehead of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, before it was Kevin Warsh, and now he's admitting that the board is holding him back. This is bat-shit crazy. You mentioned the tariffs because you care about the American economy. When you campaign, you campaign, you You promised to lower.
Starting point is 00:21:08 I care about the American economy more than any human being that's ever been president. But I also have to put out the fire, said Trump. I have to put out the fire in the Islamic Republic. They're telling them, I have to put out the fire because you want to see the problems. Let nut jobs have nuclear weapons. You'll see some real problems. I had no choice. I do it again today.
Starting point is 00:21:26 I do the same thing. I had no choice. Can we just ask about the debt? Because the debt just raised $40 trillion, a big psychological threshold. It's gone up $11 trillion. in the last couple of years. I just want to point out on a side note, Trump himself is responsible for 29% of the national debt.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Trump responds, well, Biden just killed our country. It's gone up $11 trillion in the five years you've been president. He had the biggest inflation in history. He allowed 25 million people in that shouldn't have been here. We're still getting around. It's a toughest thing to do. You haven't lowered the debt because of President Biden? Trump says no, because they keep paying,
Starting point is 00:22:05 because they keep paying higher interest. rates. We had great job numbers two weeks ago, right? What do they do? What do they do? Raise interest rates. Because today, I say it all the time because I want to try and get these people to do what's right for our country. When we did well years ago, they lowered the interest rate. Now when you do well, in fact, okay, so, I mean, this is just bad shit crazy. He can't answer questions about the Iran war or about AI or about the economy. None of this makes any sense. So then he gets asked, about the midterms a little bit. Let's talk about the midterms. Do you expect Republicans? Do you expect Democrats to take control of Congress? No, I think we'll do okay if I campaign and I intend to.
Starting point is 00:22:47 If I campaign, you don't give me enough credit. When I campaign, I give people a lot. We did a convention that had 107 million views. That is a false lie. I mean, the TV ratings had like two and a half million views. That's a lot of people, but it's not 107 million views. It was stupidly put opposite the NFL opening and we got more views. They got 25 million. We got 107 million. Very stupid thing to do, but we did it. Somebody tell you, some person did it.
Starting point is 00:23:16 No, I think that we're going to do well. If I campaign for people, they're going to win. Lindsay Graham's sister is fantastic. Are you prepared for what might happen if they don't hold on to the house? They'll probably go after me and I'll go after them, says Trump. You know what's really interesting is your relationship with Zorra, Mom Donnie? You saw him again last week and had lunch. Trump says, I get along with him.
Starting point is 00:23:37 I disagree with his policy. Well, a lot of Republicans, a lot of people liked it. They said it's bipartisan, Trump said. Sure. And I get along with him, but I just disagree with his policy. I don't think you should be driving people out of New York with money because they're the ones paying the taxes. Well, a lot of Republicans are running out, says the reporter,
Starting point is 00:23:54 hosting him as a new voice of the Democratic Party, that he is, you know, in their depictions are radical. Trump says, I don't think about it. I say I like him. I think he's great. I think his policies are crazy. You can't have wealthy people leave. You can't have companies that employ tens or thousands of people leave and go to Florida, Texas.
Starting point is 00:24:10 You've got to fight those companies that cherish. You've got to fight to keep them. Nobody's doing that. I've never seen anything like it. But I do. I like him. I think his policies are not good. Have you planned to dispatch ICE agents to polling places in the midterms?
Starting point is 00:24:25 Trump says, haven't thought of it. He won't rule it out. He says, haven't thought of it. Would you rule out declaring a state of emergency in the lead up to the midterm? unless there's widespread violence in the streets. Trump says, I don't rule anything out or in. We'll see. You mean the Insurrection Act?
Starting point is 00:24:40 The reporter says, yeah. Trump says, no, I've never used it. I could use it. A lot of people think I should use it sometimes. We have the best look. We have the lowest crime in the history of our country. Mr. President, your polls have never been lower. They're fake numbers.
Starting point is 00:24:54 I could be anybody writing today by 20 points. Your numbers that you have are fake. The pollsters are corrupt. I'm going to end it there, but our president is delusion. and out of step with reality, and it's very, very clear. If you made it this far, comment to Blue Heart, drop a like. I love you all. I will see you all in the next video, and peace out.
