All right, everybody, wow. We have an extraordinary and juicy leaked audio recording coming from the Texas Senate race where Ken Paxton was caught on tape talking trash about Donald Trump. Now, you know the players in this story. This is going to cause a huge mess in this final midterm stretch because Trump has a massive ego. And Ken Paxton was pretty directly saying that Trump was dragging down his numbers. This is antithetical to what Trump was. Trump believes this happening.

Trump thinks that he is, you know, giving a gift to every Republican that he campaigns with by helping their numbers. Ken Paxton seems to disagree in a very high-stakes race in Texas. Historically, Texas should be an easy win for the Republican Party, right? It's a rather red state. But not anymore. James Tala Rico is reliably pulling ahead as the Democratic Senate candidate, and it's because of two things.

Number one, Tala Rico is a uniquely strong candidate in Texas. He's a great communicator. He's very approachable and relatable. And his media strategy is very clever, in my opinion. He recently went on Jimmy Kimmel's show, I believe it was, and it got tens of millions of views across the internet because Trump tried to censor it. I've seen him on other podcasts that I like to watch. It's smart, it's strong, and it's effective. On the other side, we have Ken Paxton.

I can't lie, Ken Paxton is getting the shit beat out of him on every single angle. Not only are Democrats running attack ads about how he's corrupt and lets pedophiles go, but even voters in Texas think that he is very immoral, and even Trump can't stop himself from making fun of Ken Paxton's looks every few days. So before I play this clip for you of Ken Paxton, trashing Donald Trump in a secret audio recording, I just want to give you the context, because he says that Donald Trump has hurt all of them by holding this big GOP convention in Dallas.

And I actually agree with Ken Paxton's analysis here. I mean, two things can be true at once. Trump is hurting the Republican Party through his unpopular policy. But at the same time, Ken Paxton is also a uniquely weak candidate, as I described earlier. So both of these things are just hurting the Republican Party a lot in Texas. But, man, Ken Paxton's getting his ass beat. even by Trump. Trump goes on stage. And every single time he's speaking next to Ken Paxton, he points out how Paxton doesn't dress right, he's ugly, he doesn't talk right, he's not good

looking. And Trump does this bit every single time. I mean, yeah, of course this doesn't help Ken Paxton in Texas. In the whole United States. So I am very sorry, Ken. I hated to do. And I'll go backstage. Sir, you shouldn't have said that. You've given them a statement. Let me tell you. It's true. He may not dress right. He may not talk exactly perfectly. And he may not be the best-looking guy I've ever seen. But you know what he is? He's the greatest attorney general in America. And he deserves to be your next senator. Trump is like a walking opposition ad for the Democratic Party. Yeah, you know what? I hadn't really realized that Ken Paxson doesn't dress right or talk right. Thanks for pointing that out, Donald Trump. It's just, Trump is trying to rile up the crowd in his mind. He thinks it's a funny bit, but it is directly hurting the Republican Party. And Ken Paxson is not a good attorney general for Texas. He is letting pedophiles walk free, and he has been impeached by his own party. So he is a very, very weak candidate, and that is why he's so scared to debate James Talarico.

Look at this clip that went viral. Another example of Talarico's smart, aggressive, and proactive media strategy. posted this video, it says, Ken Paxton keeps dodging debates. So I called his cell phone to invite him to a debate on Fox News. He didn't pick up. This is the type of proactive messaging that Democrats need to do. I'm so sick of all this reactionary bullshit where every single policy we have or message we have is just a reaction to whatever the Republicans are doing. F that. Be the one that punches first when it's necessary. And when Ken Paxton is such a weak, little awful human being, it's very just a. to do that. This person is not available. If you would like to leave an additional message, please reply after the tone. Hey Ken, it's James. I'm calling to invite you to a debate on Fox News. Texans start voting in less than a month, and they deserve to hear from both of us before they do.

I've accepted four local TV debates, but we haven't heard from you, and we're running out of time. So if Fox News is where you'll be most comfortable, I'll be there, because I think it's that important. it's that important. Brett Baer can moderate. Fox News agreed to moderate yesterday. They said, hey, we'll moderate this debate. We're more than happy to. And Ken Paxton is still MIA. Nobody's heard from him on these debates because he is dodging James Tallerico. And the reason is Paxton's past is so indefensible, so deep corrupt. Even things he's done in the past few months are so deeply corrupt that he would not be

able to defend them on a debate stage. I mean, he's really not a charismatic guy whatsoever. So, again, Paxon is getting rolled in this race by all angles. Not only Trump saying that he's, like, he's basically calling Paxton ugly. Talariko says Paxson won't debate me and he protects pedophiles. And then look at this poll from the New York Times, or rather a focus group from the New York Times about voters in the state of Texas. Some are independent, some are Republican. There's a diverse group here. We see Latino. We see Latino, Asian, Asian. So there's a group of voters that they brought it. And they asked, let's get in specific candidates. When you hear the name Ken Paxton, what comes to mind for you? And Robert, an independent, said crook.

Sebastian, an independent, said criminal, crook, all those. Yeah. Lisa says, crooked. Erica says bad. Erica's a Republican. Pam, a Republican, says amoral. Becky says disgusting. Robert says two words, morally corrupt, and that's a Republican. Hittesh 57, Republican, Asian, says, disgusting. And Vince, a Democrat, says corrupt. This is why messaging is so important. This is why ads are so important on television. Look at this guy. Number one, he's not charismatic. He can barely even speak or look directly at somebody. Number two, he is protecting pedophiles in the state of Texas. Number three, he was impeached by the Republicans in his own party for corruption. Number four, his wife divorced him on biblical grounds because he repeatedly cheated. Number five, his own staffers realized he was so corrupt. and his own Republican staffers turned him in for corruption.

You could look it up. It's all true. Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in America right behind Donald Trump. So let's go on to this leaked audio recording of Paxton trashing Donald Trump saying that Trump is hurting his polling numbers. I again want to point out, this must hurt Donald Trump a unique amount. Trump prides himself so much on the fact that he's a kingmaker in the Republican Party who was able to help candidates win races. Ken Paxton just started a beef with Donald Trump, in my opinion.

Take a listen. Do you feel like, man, all these guys in the president of Trump? But do you feel like he's a little bit of a drag? So, to be honest with you, the numbers. So we did that in the convention, we dropped our numbers. Everybody had me got. By now, yeah, not good.

I wish there was something to do it turn about that. I would obviously not have to be. Okay, a few things. First of all, Ken Paxton is now directly playing the blame game in trying to blame Donald Trump for all of the poor polling numbers. It is both of their faults. Ken Paxton is polling so incredibly poorly because of a few things. Number one, his awful corrupt past that is all out in the open.

Number two, his terrible campaign. And number three, the fact that is, that he refuses to even debate James Talarico. Then, when you enter Donald Trump calling Ken Paxton ugly and having awful policy decisions that ruin the Republican Party's chances, that only makes it harder for Paxton to win. So it's not either or, it's both and. Ken Paxton is being sunk by his own bad policies and by Donald Trump's awful, awful decisions. But it's interesting hearing this clip. The moderator has to say, you know, I'm a big Trump fan.

He even has to clarify. I'm a huge Trump fan. But do you feel like he's a bit of a drag? And this is what Ken Paxton says one more time. So to be honest with you, the numbers in case. When we did that in the convention, we'll travel to our numbers. Everybody can't read up.

By now, yeah. Not good. I wish there was something to do it to turn on. I would obviously not. Damn. Trump is going to be so pissed. at this. You guys have to understand, Ken Paxton is playing the blame game right here. I mean, what else do you expect from an infantile, juvenile, corrupt, awful, immoral person? Of course he's

going to play the blame game. Ken Paxton is responsible for a lot of his awful polling, but he is right that Donald Trump's terrible policy with the tariffs, with ICE, with the Iran war, the Epstein files, the economy overall doesn't help Ken Paxton. And then that conference really just hurt everybody. But this is going to get nasty. This is going to get Game of Thrones-esque when Donald Trump realized that he has just been stabbed by the person that he directly endorsed. Let's check out some of this polling. We've got a poll coming out of the Texas statewide races. U.S. Senate, James Talariko, is ahead of Ken Paxton by five points in this poll. And here's what makes me feel better about it. It's not some outlier poll that is a mistake because the same poll shows

Governor Greg Abbott, who's an awful human being, beating Gina Hinojosa, the Democratic governor candidate, by four percentage points. Of course, I want a Democratic gubernatorial candidate to win, but I think this polling is accurate because Greg Abbott is the incumbent governor, that gives him an advantage, in a Republican state, that gives him an advantage. Gina Hinojosa hasn't built up the name ID, so that gives her a disadvantage. So this poll seems very accurate at the bottom, which means the poll at the top also could very well be accurate. James Tolariko could win this race by a few points, and we need to make sure we are pushing on that. You know, Pascal on Twitter makes a funny point about Donald Trump repeatedly making fun of Ken Paxton.

He says, the funniest part is that Trump has no incentive to say any of this. It's not like Talariko is attacking Paxton for his style or lack thereof. Trump is just humiliating Ken Paxton for the love of the game. Like, yeah, it's not some democratic attack that we're waging. No one even brought this up. No one was talking about the way Ken Paxton dressed until Trump said it once. And then he said it twice. And then I shit you not, Trump said it like five more times.

He just can't stop himself. Again, Pakistan's not doing himself any favors when he goes on camera and calls for filling all open space in Texas with data centers. There's plenty of open space in Texas. and in other parts of the country, that we can put data centers that do not create a different atmosphere for a neighborhood. This guy is beyond caricature. You couldn't even meme this guy because of how corrupt he is. Look at this video that is going incredibly viral. I know some people are going to be mad that it's an AI video, but this got like tens of millions of views, and I think it's absolutely hilarious. Take a watch.

He earns $153,000 a year and owns 15 homes. Nobody knows how, especially not him. How many of these can I claim is my primary presidency? His employees respect him so much, eight of them personally called the FBI. He fired four. It only cost Texas six million. He united Texas so well that Republicans and Democrats voted together. Stop clapping, you fucking moron.

To impeach him, he once held a press conference about his scandals. He answered zero questions and set his personal best in the 40-yard dash. His wife filed for divorce on biblical grounds, so he honored America's 250th birthday in London, the country we specifically left. A Texas town asked him if they could pause the data centers. Six months and $450,000 later, he's still deciding. He is the most corrupt politician in the world.

I don't always need a lawyer, but when I do, even he votes for the other guy. Stay loyal, my friends. Dan? Ken Paxton's ex-lawyer is voting for James Talleyko because he knows how corrupt Paxton would be as a senator. And I'm going to leave it there. Before I sign off, I just want to say, the Republican Party is an absolute disarray. Republicans are jumping off of the MAGA train and trying to distance themselves from Donald Trump. You have Byron Donalds out of Florida who scrubbed mentions and photos of Trump off of his website in like a weird high school breakup type way.

That's how I used to break up with people. You delete all your photos with them and you call them the toxic X. That is what's happening right now across the Republican Party. They are distancing themselves from Trump's Iran war, from Trump's immigration strategy. And Ken Paxton seems to have wished he got ahead of this and distance himself even more.
