As Donald Trump hosts King Charles in Washington, D.C., his administration is currently enacting full court press on Disney and Jimmy Kimmel. That is right.

The president of the United States currently has his FCC chair, Brendan Carr. He currently has Melania Trump's advisors and the entire MAGA ecosystem working to try to take down Jimmy Kimmel. We just got news moments ago from Brian Stel. that the Trump-aligned FCC is planning to file paperwork as early as this afternoon that will challenge Disney's eight licenses for its eight ABC stations. This early renewal move will be a major escalation by Brendan Carr FCC as it is very simply the Trump admin attacking speech they don't like, trying to remove speech they don't like from the airwaves because they deem it as a threat

to their political project, not any actual free speech reasons. Donald Trump, has had a platform to spread vile lies about elections and to attack people who just died and to attack other countries and threaten genocide. And there has been no talk on the Republican side of ever removing him from the airwaves or ever silencing him. But the moment that a comedian begins to make a joke, all of a sudden, that is actually public policy. Comedians are making public policy, but not the president in Republicans' eyes. It gets even worse. The FCC is preparing to, quote, call in all of the TV station licenses for Disney and ABC. for early renewal, a source familiar with the matter said, confirming semaphore's scoop from earlier

this morning. It will be viewed as government retaliation for keeping Kimmel's show on the air. The eight ABC licenses and the questions aren't due to be renewed for years and years. So the early renewal order would trigger a lengthy hearing process with many opportunities for stations to beat back the Trump admin's pressure, but stations have to be willing to defend themselves. The FCC hadn't taken this type of early renewal action in decades. Although strangely enough, the agency just filed an early renewal order yesterday against a small station license holder called Bridge News. Brendan Carr must know that if he sends Disney, these early renewal papers, the action will be widely condemned. But my source familiar with the matter says the FCC will assert that the license review stems from an

ongoing FCC probe into Disney's DEI actions. Sorry, I'm going to get to the clips of Trump and King Charles in just one moment. There's a lot of this. that we can cover. But it is very important to break down the attacks on the press, the attacks on the media, and the attacks on entertainment like this. It's all under one umbrella at the moments because the press gets attacked, comedians get attacked. Even Don Lebed and Georgia Ford and independent media got attacked. ABC has many legal defenses and its licenses are likely not in any real jeopardy. But it calls to mind the title of Malcolm Feeley's 1979 book about the legal system. The process is the punishment. He's trying to create a chilling effect for anybody who wants to cover him in a fair manner. And I guess this is a good time to say, we're going to keep covering him in the most truthful manner possible. We're going to be covering his absolutely insanely puffed up hands that he has makeup on both.

Like, look it, he's got makeup on both of these hands because they're so red and incredibly swollen. In this clip right here, Donald Trump can't even give his speech without crouching down and reading the paper beneath him. Just reading directly in a non-charismatic way. We're joking here, right? He can't even, like, get the tone in the cadence, right, because he's just straight up reading while half asleep. Trump then tries to crack a joke to Melania about their marriage, not lasting as long as King Charles and Queen Camilla's marriage did.

And in my mind, like, think about this. He's basically making the same joke that Jimmy Kimmel made. He's saying their marriage isn't going to last for 63 years because, you know, he'll likely pass away before she does, meaning she's an expectant widow. That's exactly the joke that Jimmy Kimmel made. Listen to this. Fred, and they were married for 63 years.

And excuse me, if you don't mind, that's a record we won't be able to match, darling. I'm sorry. Just not going to work out that way. We'll do well, but we're not going to do that well. 63 years. Melania doesn't really sell the joke. She doesn't really like it that much.

Look at her face. She smiles and shakes her head. Isn't that the exact same joke that Jimmy Kimmel made just a few days ago when he said that she looks like an expectant widow? Now remember when I play this clip, he was not actually in the same room as Melania Trump, but he was just inserting footage for this joke roast. Our first lady, Melania, is here. Did he just make an edgy joke? Oh, no. Radical comedian makes edgy joke towards, you know, first family that has destroyed our politics with radical rhetoric. Obviously, I'm being sarcastic, but the Trump family has no moral high ground when talking about radical rhetoric.

In a few hours, his majesty will stand in the heart of the United States Capitol as the very first British king ever to address a joint session of the United States Congress. So he's going to be addressing Congress that I'm going to be watching. King Charles will be addressing Congress in a very, very rare speech.

I just want to point out that Jimmy Kimmel went on a show last night and basically said that he, of course, would never call for violence. But Melania Trump's team is still enacting full court press. I mean, I find this to almost be hilarious. Do you guys see this guy on the right with the long hair? He's got a black jacket, kind of graced out long hair. He's been going across every single right-wing news channel today. And he's Melania Trump's advisor.

They are enacting full court press on a comedian for making a joke. Here's Jimmy Kimmel last night. Also, I agree that hateful and violent rhetoric is something we should reject. I do. And I think a great place to start to dial that back would be to have a conversation with your husband about it because. Thank you. That is the exact point that I've been making this entire time. Hold Trump to the high standard that you're going to hold comedians to.

Pretty good lot of jokes there from Jimmy Kimmel. Let's listen to what Mark Beckman is saying. Again, this is a senior advisor to First Lady Melania Trump. I turned on the TV this morning. He's on Newsmax. He's on Fox News. He's doing the entire circuit.

Again, I call it full court press. When you have Brendan Carr, Donald Trump, Malania's advisors, Melania herself, all attacking Jimmy Kimmel, we cannot give in. Do not give in to the pressure. We can't figure out why Kimmel still has a job. What was her reaction when she heard that? Because he's a comedian. I can't figure out why Trump still has a job. Sorry.

It's time that ABC stands up and terminates his employment. And this isn't a freedom of speech issue. The issue is purely commercially natured. Why does ABC and the advertisers want to stand behind Kimmel when over and over again, for such a long time now,

he spews this hateful rhetoric, this political divisiveness? It's clear that his intent is not to entertain. He's not funny. He's not a comedian. He enters the homes of Americans every single night, 50% of... Is this really the standard that you want to set? What's this guy's name?

Mark Beckman. Is this really the standard that you want to set? So any administration that deems a comedian, not funny personally, can then just be like, we're going to strip your FCC licenses and make sure that you can't be on air. So imagine the next administration comes in, whether it's like Aosov or Newsom or whether it's Kamala, whoever the hell the next administration is AOC. And they're like, listen, I just don't find Jesse Waters very funny. I don't know why he's being beamed at the stations of America.

Americans' homes when he's just objectively not funny. And I can be objective about, you know, comedy because, I don't know, he's an arbiter of comedy for some reason. And then they remove Fox News from the airwaves. You don't want to go down that slippery slope. Listen, I disagree with Fox News. I'm sure if you're watching this video, you disagree with Fox News, but we don't want to be in a reality where the current administration can just arbitrarily strike down news stations. Maybe we can set guidelines and maybe we can set guardrails so stations can't lie out of their teeth, but the idea that we should be en masse striking down stations, whether it's the left or whether it's the right,

is what we call illiberal. It is not, according to liberal democracy, how we create a flourishing, harmonious society. You don't just strike people off of their show. Well, he responded last night. What does Melania think about that? Is she buying it? It's done. It's over.

Jimmy Kimmel should be terminated from ABC. What is this victimhood tour? What is this victimhood tour? Why is the advisor to Melania Trump going from station to station crashing the hell outs? I absolutely hate this. Donald Trump's entire administration is falling apart. I'm also working on a video about how J.D. Vance has reportedly been questioning the Pentagon's depiction of the war in raising concerns that Trump could be understating how effed we are.

Now, the reality is J.D. Vance likely leaked this story or had his team leaked this story intentionally to distance some from this failing war, but it's not going to work that simply. Melania Trump, Donald Trump, all of these people are trying to attack the media because their unpopular war is blowing up in their face. And we need to be very clear about that. I'm sorry, but I don't like the authoritarianism currently dripping off of our first lady. And I'm going to continue to call it out whether or not Trump wants to strike our show down.
