Starting point is 00:00:00 Fifteen minutes before midnight last night, the president of the United States sent out an angry post threatening his biggest donor billionaire Elon Musk. Now, of course, Elon and Trump have been escalating this feud over the past few weeks, almost even a month now. But I just want to remind you, a few months back, not even, they were walking around the White House side by side. Elon Musk dished out hundreds of millions of dollars directly to elect Trump and $44 billion to indirectly elect Trump. through the spreading of an insane amount of propaganda on the social media platform X. Now, Trump is threatening to poll EV mandates. Trump is saying that perhaps the country would have saved a fortune if we never even entertain this idea. Can I just point out, we have officially looped all the way back to, you know, what happened a few years ago.
Starting point is 00:00:51 In 2022, Trump sent out this post. This is the old post. And we've officially looped back here. It says, when Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help. on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it's electric cars that don't drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocket ships to nowhere without which subsidies he'd be worthless in telling me how he was a big Trump fan and a Republican, I could have said, dropped to your knees and beg, and he would have done it.
Starting point is 00:01:19 That post was from 2022, and we have officially looped all the way back around after Elon Musk took a sharp right turn after COVID. he bought the social media platform of X. He then built inroads with a bunch of top right wingers, like random-ass terrible people he was just talking to on Twitter, like cat turd on Twitter he would just be interacting with. And then he turns X into an information bubble that pushes everybody on it just slightly right.
Starting point is 00:01:50 I would open it and I would see a tweet about immigrants or trans people, and that's not even what my feed was. he was intentionally boosting right-wing content, and this is just known now. To continue, after Elon Musk gets Trump elected, Elon Musk gets 40 different regulatory investigations and his companies paused, Elon then starts pointing out that he thinks the debt, which is an existential crisis, is only going to be worsened by this bill. So after a series of posts and the Epstein escalations, we can call it, we then come back around to what Elon posted two days ago. He said, polls show that this bill is political suicide
Starting point is 00:02:30 for the Republican Party. Honestly, Elon Musk is correct on his analysis here. All data, even from Fox News polling, from CNN polling, this poll right here shows views on this bill are not popular across all voters, especially in toss-up congressional districts. But even in hard GOP districts, it is not popular. But the toss-ups are really important. important because the midterms could really, really change direction if this bill is passed. But here's Senator Warren even saying, look, I guess I agree with Elon Musk for once. Did you ever think that you and Elon Musk would find yourself on the same side advocating against a bill?
Starting point is 00:03:07 What can I say? Hell has frozen over a second time. But Elon Musk is right about this. He's cut it exactly right. The idea of borrowing $3.5 trillion dollars. on the nation's credit card in order to be able to give tax breaks to the likes of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg is financially nuts. It's terrible for our country. It's insane and in this clip we hear how, you know, Trump made a bunch of campaign promises
Starting point is 00:03:45 that are completely contradictory. Welcome back. Listen, you heard Senator Tillis call this bill a betrayal. In your opinion, is Trump backtracking on his vow, frankly, not to make cuts to Medicaid? Well, Donald Trump has put himself in a very difficult position because he's made a lot of campaign promises that inherently conflict with each other. By way of example, if you go back to 2015 and 2016, he was not only going to eliminate the deficit within his four years, but within eight years, he was going to pay off all of our debt. And did he do any of that? No, he raised our debt. debt by about $7 trillion, which was a record for a four-year period of time by any president in history of the United States, albeit in fairness to Donald Trump, Joe Biden broke that record and did even worse in his four years. So here we are again. What used to be a $15 to $20 trillion
Starting point is 00:04:40 debt burden on Americans is now $36 trillion. And to put that into perspective, that's $2 trillion a year deficits that we're looking at indefinitely into the future. In addition to that, the debt service cost. That's interest on the debt, not including the principal you have to pay back, is about a trillion dollars a year. That's roughly 20% of every dollar forcefully taken from taxpayers is now used to pay past large yes. Government efficiency means adding to that, according to Donald Trump. Elon Musk is livid. He says it is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record $5 trillion that we live in a one-party country. The porky pig party. Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people. How can you
Starting point is 00:05:28 call yourself the Freedom Caucus if you vote for a debt slavery bill with the biggest debt ceiling increase in history? You know, I don't think we need a new political party. I think the Democratic Party just needs a little bit of a little bit of a reform, a little bit of a revamp. It's happened a lot of times throughout history. And, you know, times of loss bring out a revamp in the party. So it could happen. But right here, Trump then posts at midnight, quote, Elon Musk, Long before he so strongly endorsed me for president that I was strongly against the EV mandate. It is ridiculous and was always a major part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to own one.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa. No more rocket launches, satellites, or electric car production. In our country would save a fortune. Perhaps we should have Doge take a good, hard look at this. Big money to be saved, says Donald Trump regarding Elon Musk's government contracts for his rocket launches, satellites, and electric car production. It's like the battle of the corruption right here. Trump is saying, I'm going to wield my fist as the executive of this country to start to tear away Elon Musk contracts.
Starting point is 00:06:51 And Elon is like, you know, I'm going to use my vassion. vast wealth to game the system and be corrupt myself in primary every single Republican and make sure you never gain power again. And Democrats are just like, yo, we were offering health care. We were offering very, very realistic incentives for small business owners, for new homeowners, things that wouldn't shake up the system like a signal leak or like global tariffs, but things that would actually help people on a day-to-day basis. And maybe we do need to shake up the system. We definitely do need to shake up the system a lot. But I feel like that can be done through common sense steps.
Starting point is 00:07:26 Like Kamala Harris had a plan to at least help people, to at least redistribute some of the wealth, not in a regressive way, but in a progressive way. Now we have these regressive tax being, taxes being implemented. We have social safety nets being stripped away, like cut out from underneath people. And Elon Musk and Donald Trump feuding, like it's some sort of WWE show.
Starting point is 00:07:50 I want to make sure throughout all of this, we're not getting incredibly distrable. by everything that's going on. Like, I was making a video about the big, beautiful bill last week, and I remember while I was doing that, something with Iran happened. So I made sure to post that video about the bill the next day, so it got out. The point is, we want a really well-rounded view of everything going on, talking about the Middle East while also talking about the bill and Elon Musk,
Starting point is 00:08:14 and especially Ukraine and Pete Heggseth. All of this wrapped up into one package right in your feed. Subscribe below if you want that. I appreciate everybody. Make sure you drop a like. This is your front seat as we cover the Trump admin. Pisa.
