Starting point is 00:00:30 All right, we just got some insane news about the upcoming meeting between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. And first things first, in any normal reality, Putin would be arrested the moment he steps foot on U.S. soil. This tweet right here reads, Trump is hosting Putin as a guest at the same Air Force base that has been sending fighter jets up to intercept Russian bombers for decades. There is an imperial country with an authoritarian leader that bombs its surrounding countries. our close allies, invades for land grabs, and we are hosting him and rolling out the red carpet.

Starting point is 00:01:07 It then reads, for those soldiers at this Air Force base, it is like hosting the enemy and a war criminal dictator at that. Someone needs to ask whose idea Alaska was, but it gets worse because we are now learning that Trump is to offer Putin minerals for peace, and you'll never guess where the minerals may come from. At first, it was going to come from Ukraine. because they are rich in resources and minerals. Trump already tried to extort them for that, give them nothing in return, but Zelensky was able to negotiate a different deal.

Starting point is 00:01:38 But now Donald Trump is trying to give minerals from a different place. Just to lay the groundwork, Alaska was sold to the United States from Russia about 150 years ago for $7.2 million. Now Putin purposefully, intentionally chose Russia, the place that was sold to the United States to try to sell, Donald Trump, his land grab. It is disgusting and you see the game that's being played. There was also one condition in the condition was that Zelensky cannot be at the meeting. This says U.S. President will propose money-making opportunities to encourage Russia to end Ukraine war.

Starting point is 00:02:16 And here lies the problem. Donald Trump does not understand who Putin is or what his motivations are. Putin's motivation is not money. Putin is not like Trump. He doesn't care about money. He does care a bit about glorification like Trump does, but it's more about the glorification of Russia or a former image of Russia he has in his head that would be closer to the Soviet Empire that once existed. That's why he wants to capture Ukraine, invade Georgia, invade neighboring territories. He does not care about money. That's why Trump cannot end this war because he doesn't understand Putin's motivations. This reads, Donald Trump is preparing to offer Vladimir Putin access to rare earth minerals to incentivize him to end the war in Ukraine. The U.S. President will arrive at the much-anticipated meeting with his Russian counterpart on Friday, armed with a number of money-making opportunities for Putin.

Starting point is 00:03:04 That's his strategy. They will include opening up Alaska's natural resources to Moscow and lifting some of the American sanctions on Russia's aviation industry. This is a report from the Telegraph. Proposals include giving Putin access to rare earth minerals and the Ukrainian territories currently occupied by Russia. This is bat-shit crazy. As I'm reading this, we get another story that the U.S. Treasury is temporarily authorizing Putin and sanctioned Russians to land, or sanctioned Russians to land in Alaska. Sorry.

Starting point is 00:03:34 So a lot of Russian billionaires and oligarchs who are war criminals who have funded the slaughter of children have had sanctions placed on them for good reasons. We're lifting those sanctions so that joint base Elmendorf Richardson can be used as a red carpet for this absolute war criminal. And again, it's not just about Alaska. Reports suggest that the deal could also grant Putin, you know, minerals and parts of Ukraine. Here's the big problem from a negotiation standpoint. There are many, many problems.

Starting point is 00:04:03 But the condition Trump is doing this on, he's saying, listen, we'll give you minerals if you start a ceasefire. But that's not how it should work. The ceasefire should be the starting point before you even take the meeting. This is what the condition should be. You will be arrested the moment you step foot in the United States unless you enact a cease. ceasefire, before you come over here, a 30-day ceasefire, which Trump tried, but Putin continued to bomb and bomb and bomb because he doesn't keep his word. Number two, you have to allow Zens, the Zelensky and Ukrainian officials at this meeting to represent their own interests and fight

Starting point is 00:04:36 for their own sovereignty. Vladimir Putin should not be trusted. We should not roll out the red carpet. And here's another major flaw out of the many, many flaws. When Donald Trump says he'll give Putin some sort of money or deal, even if Putin did accept that. He would break the deal right away. Over and over, he's like Hitler. Hitler, back throughout the 30s and 40s, broke deal after deal after deal. So Winston Churchill said, we're not going to deal with you anymore. I'm not even going to talk to you.

Starting point is 00:05:08 He froze him out of the global order. Biden learned from that. He froze Putin out of the global order. Now Putin is allowed back in the global order into the United States. It's just to make a show of it. Our president is covering up the Epstein files and wants to distract so desperately that he invites a war criminal. Are we going to get, like, Netanyahu and Kim Jong-un here, too? Is that what's next?

Starting point is 00:05:29 Let's watch this clip of Donald Trump not even being able to explain what the consequences will be on Putin. Mr. President, will Russia face any consequences if Vladimir Putin does not agree to stop the war after your meeting on Friday? Yes, they will. There will be consequences. There will be, I don't have to say, there will be very severe consequences. I don't have to say, you do have to say, if you want to gain any leverage over anybody, you have to stop imposing these arbitrary deadlines.

Starting point is 00:06:03 And you know who's a leader who is really stepping up to the plate? Is Governor Gavin Newsom? I've been praising him a lot lately, but he is somebody who is not afraid to take the fight to Donald Trump and not play by Donald Trump's rules, but rewrite the rules entirely. So Trump is playing by his framework, responding to him, and that's what we need to do. What Donald Trump is doing right now is rewarding international aggression, rewarding people who break international law, and handing Putin to propaganda victory. You know how much of a victory it is that Putin gets to visit the land that Russians have

Starting point is 00:06:38 billboards of that say this is still part of Russia? It's so dumb. By the end of Trump's term, there's actually a decent chance he's given Alaska straight back to Putin. And I'm just going to end it off with this. The real outcome of this meeting is not going to be any sort of breakthrough, at least not for Donald Trump or for the United States. It's very, very likely going to be a bait and switch. Putin's clever. He can leave with the appearance of legitimacy. Like when he arrives and he talks to everybody, he'll, he'll appear legitimate. He'll promise American economic partnership in a new strategic edge in the Arctic.

Starting point is 00:07:14 But in doing so, he's actually manipulating Trump. Because what's happened? is Trump is playing his hand. When Trump over and over makes it about money and how much money they can make together, Vladimir Putin now knows that he can appeal to Donald Trump's monetary urge and want to make money. So what he's going to do is promise an American economic partnership that will make both of us rich. Putin might even act excited and surprise, you know, a little manipulative, like, oh, wait a minute, we can make a lot of money and I can end the war. Trump will be like, yeah, you can. And then Putin will have played this out like 4D chess. He plays 40 chess closer than Trump. I'm not saying this out of respect. I'm saying it because we need to know

Starting point is 00:07:53 the enemy. And then within three weeks, probably less, within three days, Putin will be bombing the hell out of Ukraine because that has been his MO the entire time. Trick Donald Trump over the phone, say he's on the verge of ending the war, and then launch the largest drone strike yet. We need to show strength. Real peace through strength is not being diplomatically kind with Russia. It's giving them the middle finger, going for Putin's jugular, arresting him on the spots, and not even negotiating until they start a ceasefire or stop the war, however you want to word it.
