It was the classic good versus evil.
Has the UK benefited from it?
We did the right thing.
Is it a better country than it was?
To have defeated Hitler, yes.
So the UK is a better country now.
It's a healthier country now.
Otherwise, we'll be speaking German.
Who cares?
There are a lot of people in Britain who can't speak English.
So it would be nice to have at least a European language spoken in your country.
No, I've seen no advantage speaking German over any other language.
We want to speak English.
Thank you so much.
That was a brutal clip of conservative.
conservative American commentator Tucker Carlson debating conservative British politician and commentator Sir Jacob Rees Mogg.
He was a conservative member of the parliament in 2010. And he's kind of the old-fashioned conservative.
While Tucker Carlson represents this new bat shit crazy, Hitler apologetic populist version, that's not even conservatism.
It's often this weird sphere. But the reality is Tucker Carlson has a massive audience that he is
retained even after being fired from Fox News after the 2020 election and after the text came
out in the Dominion versus Fox News lawsuit, where Tucker Carlson was found to have gone on air,
lied about election fraud, and said Trump is the best president ever. He had the election
stolen from him. And then he would text behind the scenes that he hated Donald Trump and he
didn't believe the lies of Sidney Powell and Donald Trump. So he is a two-faced liar. And this is
one of the most brutal interviews I have seen because his weird, ahistorical frameworks are on full
display. They're not only a historical, but they are anti-human dignity and anti-liberal. I mean,
liberal in the sense that people can practice freedom of religion, freedom of speech, the ability
to love who you want. I mean, Tucker Carlson believes in this warped authoritarian version of government,
or at the very least, he plays apologetics for that Nazi authoritarian style of government. He was
sitting there genuinely questioning if Britain and the entire Western world is better for defeating
the Nazis. That's the question of whether or not individual freedoms matter or personal freedoms matter.
Nazi Germany systematically persecuted and slaughtered Jewish people, disabled people,
gay people of color. I mean, they were just incredibly authoritarian. And yet Tucker Carlson
is wondering if the world would be better off if they got their ultimate vision. Tucker Carlson
does this insane thing throughout many of his interviews where he downplays Hitler's bloodthirsty
imperialist actions and acts like Hitler was just pushed to do this by America and other countries.
He does the same thing with Vladimir Putin. He acts like Vladimir Putin was pushed to invade
Ukraine just because NATO, a defensive alliance exists and just because countries can choose
if they want to join NATO. If Vladimir Putin had it his way or if Hitler had it his way,
all of Europe would be theirs and beyond.
So Tucker Carlson does this disgusting authoritarian apologetics, and let's check this out.
Therry says, I generally disagree with Jacob Rees-Mogg on almost everything, but this is such a
good example of how insane America has gone that Carlson genuinely thinks the UK is more authoritarian
than Russia.
And this is actually a good, it's a good tweet because Jacob Rees-Mogg is a conservative.
I disagree with him on a lot of things,
but there's still a difference between that type of conservative
and this new type of like Nazi apologetic,
Groyper-esque conservative.
I just don't understand,
given what you've already just conceded,
that the government of the United Kingdom
is punishing and prohibiting people and ideas it doesn't like,
Russia is not doing that.
So how is...
What?
You can't say what in Russia.
It's doing it in.
spades. It's beating people up, it's restering them.
In your country?
Well, it's...
No, your citizens are under...
Russia has poisoned people in this country.
Russia has put fewer people
in jail in the last year
for social
media posts than the UK has.
They just accidentally fall out of windows in Russia.
I just don't under...
This is batshit crazy from Tucker Carlson.
First of all, we don't actually
have oversight into
Russian numbers on the
media being attacked because it's an authoritarian government. Vladimir Putin has been the sole
authoritarian leader since the year 2000 and he has waged multiple wars. He suppresses the media.
He will kill his opposition. He will poison his opposition. He is fundamentally authoritarian.
The UK is an imperfect country that still has a functioning democracy and system of living.
I could travel to the UK. Make all of the political videos I want criticizing the government.
I could go on a date with my girlfriend, or if I were gay, I could go on a date with my boyfriend, and I would be fine.
I can vote in elections if I were a citizen there.
The elections actually have a say in the elections, none of this exists in Russia.
They are a fundamentally authoritarian state.
It's disgusting to see Tucker Carlson just be spreading this BS.
But it gets even more brutal as the video goes on.
As always, if you appreciate these types of videos, drop a like and subscribe.
people like Tucker Carlson or the Nick Fuentes or these far right people who run apologetics for authoritarianism are all over the internet and have massive audiences.
So if we want to beat them, we have to fight back on the online turf.
Again, drop a like and you can subscribe below to keep us growing.
This gets increasingly brutal for Tucker Carlson.
One user says this is absolutely priceless.
Tucker just states as fact that Russia has a much larger economy than the UK and is completely.
wrong and get schooled within one minute.
This is wild shit.
I mean, Tucker Carlson has always been an immoral liar.
And now he's trying to just take the popular positions, acting like he is pro-Palestine
and anti-Israel on principle when it's very clear that he's just grifting and trying to get
an audience by using populist rhetoric while also using Holocaust denial rhetoric, while also
using Islamophobic rhetoric.
So it's like all of the worst denials of human dignity balled up into one while acting like he's a moral actor.
There's much larger economy.
It has much more wealth and resources and there's a much larger manufacturing sector.
GDP is smaller than the UK's.
It's about two.
GDP is not, I mean, the only measure of an economy.
It's a pretty important measure of an economy.
It's one measure we can be with.
Russia is an economic failure.
That it could have a huge economy, but it's a big economy.
but it's got a small economy because it's deeply corrupt and it hasn't managed to use its resources effectively.
It's really bad for Russia. I mean, listen to this. GDP per person in Russia was about $17,500 per capita in 2025.
The United States, by comparison, even though we have less land, is about $90,000, more than five times higher.
Even in a country like Poland with a much smaller population and land size, it's $20,000, $420, roughly 60% higher than Russia.
Their GDP is awful.
It is just a fraction of ours, and their growth is plateauing entirely.
So he's just wrong.
Again, there can be nuance here.
The UK can be an imperfect country.
Lord knows that the United States is an imperfect country.
Our economy is not doing well right now.
There is a massive unemployment problem, inflation problem, and wage growth is not keeping up with
the pace of inflation.
People in my generation are struggling, but the Gen Zers over in Russia are facing a fundamentally
different reality than the Gen Zers in America, fundamentally different challenges surrounding
freedom and ability to even criticize their government.
So I don't like these comparisons when people say that we are Russia or that the UK is
worse than Russia just because they have some imperfect policies. That is not true. Any country that
respects basic human dignity and allows democratic votes and at least like gay marriage, in my opinion,
gets, is way ahead of Russia in my book and China. China abuses a lot of human rights. Okay, the next one.
Another user points out, brutal exchange. Tucker Carlson incorrectly tells Jacob Rees-Mogg that
Russia has a much larger economy. It doesn't. By GDP, Britain is about $4 trillion.
and Russia's is about 2.5 trillion. Corrected, Carlson retreats to GDP is not the only measure.
Then Russia's inherent wealth.
Rees-Mogg says, inherent wealth isn't very useful, is it?
There's lots of African countries that have huge resources that have never been able to use them.
Carlson says, it depends on what your timeline is.
Reese Mogg says, well, if you go for hundreds of years, they haven't used them.
Russia has consistently been a poor country in spite of its resources.
Carlson says, I'll grant you that.
Does it explain why Russia would want to pick a fight with Britain?
It's got a much larger economy than Britain's by, I think, basically...
No, no, no, it hasn't got a larger economy than Britain.
It's got a smaller economy than Britain's got a larger military.
There's a much larger economy.
It has much more wealth and resources and it has a much larger manufacturing sector.
Its GDP is smaller than the UK's.
It's about two thousand.
It's not, I mean, the only measure of an economy.
It's a pretty important measure of an economy.
No, the Russia...
It's one.
I imagine we can be with a support.
Russia is an economic failure.
Okay.
But it could have a huge economy, but it's got a small economy because it's deeply corrupt,
and it hasn't managed to use its resources effectively.
And so although the population of Russia is bigger than that of the United Kingdom, very significantly,
its GDP per capita is so much lower that the total GDP of Russia is smaller than that of the United Kingdom.
Right.
its inherent wealth dwarfs that of the UK.
It's the largest country in the world.
But leaving aside that, I'm not in charge of central planet.
Yeah, but inherent wealth isn't very useful, is it?
There are lots of African countries that have huge resources
that have never been able to use that.
It depends what your timeline is.
Well, if you go over hundreds of years, they haven't used them.
Yeah.
Russia has consistently been a poor country in spite of its resources.
Yeah.
Okay.
I don't agree, but I will grant you that.
Oh, my God.
Tucker Carlson had no response there.
gets more and more brutal as it goes on. Tucker, I never understood why Britain fought World War
2. Re-smog, it's a good versus evil thing. We did the right thing. I played this interaction very
early on, but we have the full two-minute segment so people don't accuse me of clipping up 30 seconds.
This is the entire interaction where Tucker Carlson is very clearly doing Hitler apologetics at the
very least and being just pro-Nazi Germany and anti-West at the very most. Nobody should trust this guy.
I'd never understood why fight the Second World War in the first place.
Well, that's a very fundamental question.
How about the First World?
Well, let's stick to the Second world.
No, let's start with the First.
Well, we were on the second.
Hitler would have taken as much as he could have done, as he was sharing.
And did you really want him to...
Well, Hitler said that 15% of Poland was once Germany,
and it was given to Poland at the Treaty of Versailles.
That was his case.
And by the way, that was true.
Except the Polish borders had been cut up by...
Russia and Austria and Austria.
I'm just saying...
The idea that Hitler just randomly rolled into Poland is a lie, and everyone believes it because they know nothing about the actual facts.
Germany had big pieces of it carved off, including part of Prussia, and it was given to this other country and ferreated the Germans.
Maybe it shouldn't have, but it did, and that was a justification for it.
The UK had nothing to do with it at all.
And they destroyed their empire and their country fighting this war that they still pretend was a good idea, but it wasn't.
It was fundamental.
It was the classic good versus evil.
Has the UK benefited from it?
We did the right thing.
Is it a better country than it was?
To have defeated Hitler, yes.
So the UK is a better country now.
It's a heavier country now.
We always will be speaking German.
Who cares?
There are a lot of people in Britain who can't speak English.
So it would be nice to have at least a European language spoken in your country.
No, I've seen no advantage speaking German over any other language.
We want to speak English.
Thank you so much.
But the point is, if a war is fought with the children of your citizens, which it is,
that war should benefit those citizens.
And it did benefit this country.
In what ways?
But as I said to you, otherwise Germany would eventually have invaded us.
We've had 80 years to assess. Tell me the benefits. Why don't you tell me the ways in which Britain benefited from, I'm going to use air quotes here, winning the Second World War. Because from my perspective, it looks like the empire ended, India was lost two years later, the United States took over the world and has had troops here ever since. You lost your sovereignty and your self-respect. And this beautiful country has been destroyed.
We certainly didn't lose our self-respect over winning the war. Our self-respect was hugely maintained by defeating the greatest evil the world has known.
Then why would you allow foreign troops on your soil ever since?
Because we wanted to stop the Russians.
But, I mean, it's kind of a prerequisite of sovereignty and self-respect,
not to have foreign soldiers on your soil for 80 years.
Their allies, we're in NATO together.
Call them whatever you want, but there's still foreigners on your soil.
Yep, they're very welcome here.
Defending our shared interest, which we have, and our shared interest,
is the nation state, and maintaining its integrity
and not having people thinking,
because there was a treaty some hundreds of years ago,
and Poland once had a bit of it that was Germany,
we can now say we're going to take it.
I'm merely saying you use the phrase nation state,
but it has no meaning if the nation state has no sovereignty.
This nation state has sovereignty.
How can it have sovereignty when it has foreign troops on its own?
We were able.
Tucker Carlson has been gone for years,
but his brain is entirely fried with like Nazi bullshit.
He's asking repeatedly why Britain benefited
from beating Nazi Germany with the allies
before Germany was able to take over Britain
and institute Nazi governments' courts
elections, laws, and a Nazi regime all over the people of Europe.
He's wondering why people retaining their own personal freedom and ability to vote,
an ability to express themselves and express their rights and not be murdered for being
Jewish or gay or disabled or black.
I mean, the Nazis targeted basically everybody other than people who they deemed Aryan.
This apologia is insane.
And then later on in that same clip, Tucker Carlson begins to say, oh, Britain isn't benefiting
today because you have foreign boots on your ground. And he's referring to NATO countries, allies of
Britain like the United States, which exist to protect Britain and other countries from the threat
of modern day Hitler, who is Vladimir Putin. Benjamin Netanyahu, you could argue as well.
But in this case, we're talking about Vladimir Putin, who is also, you know, looming over all
of Eastern Europe wanting to invade at any given moment. And this clip is a cherry on top for all of it.
Tucker Carlson insists three times that Hitler did not want to go to war with the UK and demands that Jacob Rees-Mogg acknowledge it.
Rees-Mogg says, you know, I'm surprised you're defending Hitler.
You shouldn't be taking him at his word.
Guys, Hitler is notoriously somebody who didn't give a shit about lying.
He would say he didn't want to invade, and then he would invade.
He signed multiple treaties that he broke the next week over and over.
He didn't give a shit about international law.
Neither does Vladimir Putin.
That is the fundamental misunderstanding here.
They treat Hitler like he's a good faith actor when he wasn't.
We should learn from history that if your enemy thinks you are weak, then you find you get into war by accident.
If you'll show that you are strong, then the invasion doesn't take place.
And if Hitler had thought we were strong, then Poland would not have been invaded.
Hitler did not want to go to war with the UK.
He thought we wouldn't do anything about Poland as we'd done nothing.
repeatedly said, I do not want to go to war with the UK.
Did we acknowledge that?
As we'd done nothing about Czechoslovakia, he thought we'd do nothing about them.
We acknowledged that Hitler said repeatedly in public and through diplomacy.
I do not want war with the UK.
You seem to be putting more trust in Hitler than I would.
He said all sorts of things.
He signed an agreement with Neville Chains.
Did he say that? I really don't care what he said,
because he signed a piece of paper with Neville Chamberlain saying he would not invade.
I'm very surprised you're verging on defending Hitler.
I think this is not really what you want to be doing.
Yeah, I guess I'm just a secret Nazi.
I'm actually not a secret Nazi.
I'm reassured.
And hardly a public Nazi.
I'm someone who tries to think clearly about cause and effect.
Yes.
We should learn from history.
Hitler is notoriously a serial liar on the global stage,
and yet Tucker Carlson is defending him.
I mean, just a quick article read.
Hitler repeatedly lied to and broke commitments made to other countries,
especially in the years before World War II.
Czechoslovakia, Hitler told British people,
Neville Chamberlain that he only wanted part of it and had no further territorial demands.
After Britain and France accepted the Munich Agreement, Hitler occupied the rest of Czech lands.
Same thing in Poland, Britain, in Europe, in general.
He was a repeated liar over and over and over and didn't care about breaking whatever treaty he had last signed.
I don't understand how we're relitigating these debates in 2026.
A lot of times I get comments of people saying,
Adam, why do you platform this type of stuff?
Why do you spend time responding to this type of stuff?
The reality is this type of ideology is very, very common.
Tucker Carlson commands a massive audience.
And people within the Republican Party from Donald Trump and people in his cabinet
are bear hugging this type of like far-right ideology
while trying to also walk the line and act like they aren't.
There are people within the Trump administration who have Nazi ideologies like Paul
and Grazia who said he's a self-described Nazi.
J.D. Vance himself refused to condemn the Republican Nazi group jet that leaked where they were denying the Holocaust.
It's systemic in the Republican Party, and we need to be debunking this stuff, debating it, pushing back on all of this because a lot of young men in my generation are being taken advantage of of people like Tucker Carlson who are promising that they are changemakers when they're actually much more cynical.
I love you all.
Let's keep fighting back against these far-right weirdos who are doing apologetics for Adolf Hitler.
I'll see you in the next video.
Peace out.
