story that's making a lot of people really upset and understandably so because the same administration that talks consistently, or at least used to, about government efficiency. You remember Doge? You remember all about how the Biden overspending and the wasteful government spending is causing inflation, all this nonsense. That, first of all, wasn't even close to true. Second of all, Doge was just a complete failure. And third of all, they've never cared about government spending or government waste or efficiency. Right now, Donald Trump spending more money through this time period than Joe Biden did in 23 or 24. That's not really how government spending works.

But I think a very simple way to show people like, hey, he's not cutting all this spending. In fact, he's on pace right now, especially with the big, beautiful bill to add significantly more to the deficit and the debt than Joe Biden did. And in the same tone of government efficiency, J.D. Vance's team had the water level of the Ohio River raised for his family's boating trip. That's right. We need to focus on money and resources going to the American people. That's why J.D. Vance wanted a nice birthday trip. Get this. We're going to get into some of the reaction to this story because people are pissed. J.D. Vance's team had the Army Corps of Engineers take the unusual step of changing the outflow of a lake in Ohio to accommodate a recent. boating excursion on a family holiday the Guardian has learned. The request from the U.S. Secret Service was made to, quote, support safe navigation of the U.S. Vice President security detail

for an August outing on the Little Miami River. Vance was spotted in the southwestern Ohio area on the 2nd of August, his 41st birthday. But here's the thing. One source with knowledge of the matter who communicated with the Guardian anonymously alleged that the outflow request for the Caesar Creek Lake was not just to support the Vice President's Secret Service detail, but to create, quote, ideal kayaking conditions for the Vice President. As we rip away health care for millions of people, as we explode the deficit, as we tear apart the Rose Garden and spend $200 billion for a new ball room in the White House, as we paint the oval office with gold, take away snap benefits, food benefits.

Vice President's Secret Service detail that's funded by the taxpayers is working to create ideal kayaking conditions for the vice president. And this is something that the Associated Press would then confirm, excuse me, Ohio Rivers level raised to accommodate Vice President J.D. Vance's birthday kayaking trip. Not out of safety, but just comfort, you know. Let the vice president be comfortable. So Adam Mockler sent me a bunch of screenshots to react to. I haven't looked at a lot of this, but I know the outrage is there. So we're going to read some of this react together really quickly. My name's Chris Mowry. Vance, who shrugged off millions of Americans losing health care coverage as not a big deal refused to go kayaking unless they raise the water level in an Ohio river so he can enjoy, quote, ideal kayaking conditions. Beautifully said. I mean, he said it better than me. Said it better than I did just 60 seconds ago. Again, we're going to take 10 million people off their health insurance, not to save money just to make time, make, you know, room for tax cuts for the rich. But ideal kayaking conditions. Let's go to the next one. Prince J.D. Vance. I like that. We should start calling J.D. Vance. Prince J.D. Vance has a river raised for his birthday, blatant abuse of public resources.

Agree. Agree. Well said. And another article here picking it up all of that. Go to the next one. J.D. Vance ordered a river's water level raised for his family boat trip. I don't think you can call yourself working class if you can do this thing. Exactly.

And again, this is where Democrats moving into 2026, the midterms end 28, not just the party of, hey, Trump is awful. because he is awful, probably one of, if not the worst, U.S. President of all time, period. There's no question. But we need to make sure, as we're pushing toward 2028, that we're showing we're the party of the working class, right? Not only that we have policies to support the working class, but create with those policies, the contrast of, yeah, J.D. Vance cares about the working Ohio person. That's why he's going kayaking with his Secret Service detail and having them raise the river.

You get to do that. On your birthday, after you've worked 60 hours and don't have enough money to take. care of your family, you get to go on a kayaking trip and you have the Ohio government raised the river for you. So it's ideal, right? We go to the next one. Oh, wow, this is all. We have a host of comments here. How does the Senate not see this as a massive overreach of power and authority? Beautifully said. I mean, how does the Senate, how does Congress, frankly, not see any of this as a massive, the entire administration? And that's part of why I scream a lot about how government is operating right now in terms of executive authority being, you know, expanded.

Because normally you would have the judicial branch and or Congress, the other branch of government, the legislative branch, to check the executive branch when they're abusing power. But Congress is full of, you know, maga loyalists, a lot of which know that awful abuses are happening, but they just don't care. They'd rather sell out your future and my future, look at the Constitution and spit on it so they can take pictures with Trump and Marlago and, you know, retain their job and be powerful people. It's gross. It's gross. Yeah, the thunderstorms and rain in the Upper River Basin had nothing to do with it. What a self-serving, entitled corrupt piece of shit. Wow, W. David right there. W. David.

J.D. Vance is an entitled little bitch. He pretended to be a poor hillbilly to sell books and gain votes. J.D. Vance is a fucking fraud and a pompous ass. Boom. Boom. Beautifully said. I don't know if this person is trying to argue that actually the levels were changed because of safety reasons. But again, I think it's becoming clear that people within the administration, especially we heard about J.D. Vance's little meeting with Pam Bondi and all these people yesterday in relation to Jeffrey Epstein. It's very clear people in the administration are starting to fight back. This is why we're getting all these leaks, right? Because a lot of people in the administration are really finally starting to see, holy shit, this is bad. It happened in the first administration. That's why no one from the first administration exists in the second administration. But it's happening again. And this is well said.

J.D. Vance, the working class guy who used to be, you know, working in a venture capitalist firm or something. We go to the next one here. Oh, this is a good photo. I like that. Maybe we should make that the thumbnail. It was the Secret Service that ordered it. It was for security reasons. You people will lie about anything. Really? Again, it's like impossible for anybody to believe anything that's against Trump or J.D. Vance. It's not possible. I see some of you come and say hi.

It means a lot. And I debate Trump supporters sometimes when I'm bored. And it's like, wait, so the 2020 election was stolen. And they say, yes. And I say, okay, even though his attorney general, his FBI, his children, all the people in his administration testified that they couldn't find the evidence and they told the president it didn't exist. And they're like, well, they just, they're part of the cover up.

I'm like, oh, the only person with evidence here is Donald Trump. It's a cult. Same here. It's not true unless we hear it from their mouths. This person, I want my tax dollars back. I never agreed to fund his fucking party. Plankton. Plankton from SpongeBob. Beautifully said, and we have the JD Vance image. People are pissed. People are pissed. When is this ghoul not on vacation? Olivia, love it. To cover up the Epstein files that were hidden underneath, I assume, yo, that's good. I love to see this level of outrage. People are pissed and understandably so. So his favorite couch would flow.

That's a classic right there. God, that feels like a long time ago. J.D. Vance having sex with couches. You remember that? Wow. Wow. Outrage is real. Because every time you tried to vacation in a blue state, we threw him out, bags packing. But so glad we could pay for that. Exactly. It's so. true we talk about what they're outraged about like it has its own the tan suit controversy has its own wikipedia page fox ran with it forever another one some of you may know the dijon mustard when obama was president going to a burger shop ordering he said do you guys have any dejon mustard like you have not like yellow mustard like maybe like a spicy mustard it's like a local shop in dc i think and and i'm not lying to you sean hannity like ran a whole thing about like oh look how look how elitist he is he doesn't want regular yellow mustard like an American. He's fancy. He wants Dijon mustard. I mean, oh my God. Can you imagine if Barack Obama

did anything close to this? The Fox News servers would overheat. Beautifully said, man, I love to see people fighting back. Brinks me hope. Ohio parks are being underfunded, but Bozo does this. Exactly. Ripping apart a lot of the funding for pretty much basic necessities for Americans, including health care food benefits, are funding for our national parks, funding for the National Weather Service. Another great use of our tax dollars. Exactly. Because again, it's not about saving money. They will position everything they do is, oh, we have to to fire people from the National Weather Service. We have to rip apart cancer research funding,

take people out through health insurance, food benefits, because we just aren't in a position to raise the deficit anymore. It's just such a fucking, excuse my language, blatant lie. It's just a lie. We're exploding the deficit. We're spending more money than Joe Biden did than Obama did.

It's never about spending money. It's about using our tax dollars the way they want to, which is to make sure JD Vance has a comfortable trip and to make sure rich people get tax breaks. Wow.
