Starting point is 00:00:00 But boys in the back. But boys, boys, boys, boys, boys, boys. What is good? We are back with another episode of the Boys in the Back. Coming to you live from New York City on this gloomy August 27th. Thursday as always, I am one-third of the boys in the back. Connor Birx, joined alongside me as always. There he is.
Starting point is 00:00:27 New York's sick, as they call him around. these parts. Gout man, gout man. Yeah, that's him. Frank in the back. How you know, Frank? Hey. Good. Thank you. Oh, man. Are you doing good? Yeah. I threw you through a loop last night, man. That's all good. It is all good, man. Ain't got no gout. Ain't got no gout. Never will have any gout. We got a big show planned for you. Andy, I don't like that cut. I don't like that cut. I don't like that cut right there. The gout man cut? Gout man. Gout man. Gout man. Yeah, that's him. That's what they call him. Shout out to all my gout brothers and sisters suffering right now. You just can't quit.
Starting point is 00:01:04 We got a big show playing for you today. Voicemails, as always, super chats, as always. Pound for Pound. Special one in honor of UFC Shanghai. Speaking of UFC Shanghai, we've got UFC Shanghaiese food. Sorry, fight feast. Shanghai's food debuting today. A great one.
Starting point is 00:01:23 New Yorker took me around Queens, his locale. Shocking developments came out of that one. Yeah. Do I feel better about Queens after that? You're just going to have to watch and find out. Boxing matches going down. You got Mayor Cameron, Moses Sotomah, trying to become the second youngest heavyweight champion in the world,
Starting point is 00:01:42 just behind Mike Tyson, who got it at 21, I think. Moses Sotama getting ready to turn 22. Maybe Mike Tyson was 20. I don't know. I got the number somewhere in my notes. BKFC going down at Fenway. There's always a lot going on in the world of combat sports. But before we get into breaking down all that, let me tell you this episode is brought to you by Kaushi, the largest prediction market in the United States.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Here's what makes Kaushi different. You are not playing against the house. Kauci is a peer-to-peer trading. You buy yes or no contracts on whether something will happen. And you're trading directly against other users. Think of it like buying or selling a stock. The line isn't set by some algorithm working against you. Public opinion sets the price.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Cali is CFTC approved, federally regulated, which is why it's available all across the country, including California and Texas. Download the Calci app and use code B-I-T-B to get up to $25 when you trade $25, K-A-L-S-H-I. That's K-A-L-S-H-I. That's K-A-L-Sh-I-T-E-Ray-N-U-C-S-E-C-H-H-E-N-RILLI-RILL. The prediction pals, they need to bounce back. That's two in a row. We're below 500 now. I know, look, you know, we're still making money out there.
Starting point is 00:02:55 Who the fuck is we? And we're going to bounce back strong. This feels like a good week. This feels like a good week. It feels like a week that we need to bounce back. It does. You're going to be up at 3 a.m. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Locked in. 1245 alarm. Cup of coffee, porn by 3 a.m. Sorry, what by 3? Say that one more time? Why did I make the past tense of poor porn? Cup of coffee poured by 3 a. Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:03:27 I think it had a different schedule laid out than I did. That's rock talk for this week. No, this week it's dong talk in honor of song you don't. Yeah, I think I was singing draw and drawn. Sure. Look, man, you know. Who doesn't pour some coffee? Four and a half minutes ago I was in the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:03:51 I sprinted over here, sweating. Ten seconds before the show, I didn't even have my earpiece in. So the fact that we're even coming to you live is in and of itself a good thing. We'll talk about the 3 a.m. porn later on in the program. Before we do that, though, let's get to some news and notes around the world of combat sports. Bellamere breaks her silence after her loss on Dana White Contender Series. Her first professional loss in her career. This is an Instagram caption.
Starting point is 00:04:17 It says, I've lost so many times, big or small. Each loss carries me into a different mindset and learning experience to be a better athlete. I have overcome every single obstacle in my life, and I will overcome this one. Now it's just a bit different that this loss is more famous than any other one. Thank you so much to everyone sending my love and encouragement, and I promise to all of you that it takes way more than hate in one single loss in my MMA career to break me. I want to thank my team, my family, my fans, and Dana for getting me here and further. I also want to thank Alex for taking this fight.
Starting point is 00:04:50 All respect to her, every time I lose, I come back and win something bigger and better. No loss has ever defined me, and neither will this one. And how cool is it to do what I love on such a big platform? Literally living my dream, next best thing. So it seems like she's taking it in stride. We obviously mentioned it on the show yesterday. Frank Meir got his first career loss at 23 years old, his fifth professional fight to move to 4 and 1.
Starting point is 00:05:16 He was the UFC champion two years later. Yeah, and I think she makes a fantastic point and remind some people who may not always have this top of mind is like, this is not the first time she's competed, lost in competition. This is not the first time she's lost in life. This is just the first time that she's lost in MMA. And so the hours and the work that she's putting in behind the scenes and the hard days in the gym where maybe she's losing those or the wrestling competitions or the jiu-jitsu competitions
Starting point is 00:05:45 and all the things that everybody's not seeing, she's bounced back from defeat before, right? just because she suffered her first professional MMA loss does not mean that this is the first time she's ever had to overcome adversity or bounce back from something. So a good reminder. And for a young woman to have this kind of perspective and head on her shoulders,
Starting point is 00:06:03 you can only expect that she will be successful. She was not the only one from the mere family to take to social media. Her mother had a lot of comments to say after the fight. Here's her apology. She says, I want to address the comments I made after the fight. Before we do the apology, Let's show what she said.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Okay. Do we have those? Do we have those? Yeah, here we go. This is obviously on a video of Alex after she won the fight. It says, best day of her life. Suck it up, baby girl. Mrs. Mayor, you know, that's a confirmed account. You lucked out tonight. The judges were obviously in your favor. Celebrate a win that you didn't earn. I don't want to speak on it too much, but, you know, it does feel like if the judges were going to be in favor of anyone would probably be of Bell and Mayor, but we don't have to get into that. I love Jet Eye, probably that eye that's popping out for my daughter fucking you up. Stars were aligned for you tonight, baby girl. So, yeah, she was taking it out in the comments of Instagram, and then she took to her own Instagram story and said, I want to address the comments I made after the fight. But first, I want to give you all a very deserved explanation. After the fight, I went on to Bella's comments and saw comments telling my daughter to die and kill herself.
Starting point is 00:07:15 I reacted purely as an emotional and protective mother after seeing my daughter go through a hard loss and I let alcohol and adrenaline get the better of me. However, that is zero excuse. I want to sincerely apologize to Alex Apodaca, her team, the judges and the fans. Alex fought a brilliant fight and earn that win fair and square and deserves nothing but respect. My out of line comments were entirely my own and do not reflect Bella, her team, or the values she trains by. I'm stepping back from social media to let Bella focus on her recovery, and I ask everyone to direct any frustration toward me and not my daughter. So yeah, she's giving us a sincere apology, but like the comments were all directed at Alex Apodoka. They weren't directed at the Twitter trolls on Belomere's
Starting point is 00:08:03 Instagram. I understand the frustration there, but you were directly... This is not my fault. Yeah, you were directly attacking the woman who beat her, saying some like pretty fucked up shit about it, and then to go on social media and, like, if you saw the line in there, like, she uses alcohol as an excuse for that. I can't lie.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I'd want my mom to ride as hard as Bella's mom does, like... I disagree. I want my mom to ride out with me. I wouldn't want my mom to be like, yeah, bro, she beat you. Tough loss.
Starting point is 00:08:35 Let's lick the wounds, and let's get better from this. Yeah. I'm all right with it. I mean, you didn't see Frank Mir in the cage being like, My daughter fucked you up, man. Judges robbed her. I thought the apology was a good apology and a sincere apology.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Sure. That's where I ultimately lay out. Vegas. Woke up. Next morning was like, oh, fuck, what did I comment? Yeah. What did I say? I think the most important part that she said there was that she's not speaking on behalf of Bella,
Starting point is 00:09:03 who as we saw in her post and made no other kind of comments about it other than that. Very classy, very forward looking, right? She's not looking back and going like, I did all these things wrong. and it was her night. She's just like, I lost before. I'm going to probably lose again. I'm bouncing back from this, and I'm going to be better than ever.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I think maybe that's why it kind of bothered me a little bit. She's so. She is being professional about the loss. She understands that loss has happened, and she's like, I'm going to bounce back. And then her mom's just like, fucking lucky ass, baby. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:36 Mom is a rider. Mom is a rider. I like it. Of course. She's a rider's her daughter, bro. She's in the comments, spraying, sprained everybody,
Starting point is 00:09:43 including Alex. Not everybody. It's just Alex Lama dog. I bet there were some motherfuckers who got to reply to. True, true, true. We only saw a few of the screenshots. I bet there was some motherfuckers.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Hey, you shut your fucking mouth. Speaking of Dana White Contender Series, obviously we've heard the comments from Dana White at the press conference. Last week talking about how, you know, Dana White Contender Series alum have made a combine, I believe it's $225 million since the inception of the show in 2017.
Starting point is 00:10:10 And then, you know, was asked about it, talked about it again after this week's Dana White Contender Series and says that there is a fighter who was a non-champion. No, didn't even compete in a title fight. Never even fought for a title who has earned $11 million in their career. We know that Dana-Wi Contender Series started in 2017,
Starting point is 00:10:27 so that's a nine-year career. So that would mean a fighter's making over a million dollars a year and having never fought for a title that feels like a hefty sum for a guy like that. Many people assume Kevin Holland because of his activity. I believe it's 29 fights in the
Starting point is 00:10:43 UFC since he debuted on Contender Series, and I believe 21 of those were on the main card of pay-per-views. I believe Andrew Feldman had that stat. Three main events in there as well, and countless short-notice fights. I mean, Call Big Mouth became a thing because of his ability to step in on short notice. Kevin Holland woke up and had to address these claims. Here's what he had to say. That fighter's not me. I'm just not waking up. Tell y'all right now. That fighter's not me. Don't listen to that shit. Y'all, it's the $11 million man. I'm here to tell y'all one thing right now. May I've made $11 million, but I don't have like four kids, paid taxes, got divorced three times. Shit's fucked up. All right, so I don't think he's actually gotten
Starting point is 00:11:37 divorced three times. Do we know who he has? I don't know. I don't think he's got... I think he's obviously like when he woke up he's like bro that shit ain't me and then i think he's obviously i'm the 11 million dollar man he's now saying in jest okay i actually think the first one was in jest i actually think don't watch my pockets don't look at my pockets because as soon as that happens and by the way to his credit dana white has always said this what whenever people would ask about fighter pay one of the go-to lines by dana white has always said it is i you they don't want the money out there The fighters don't want the money out there, there are numbers out there. Because if their numbers are out there, they got a cousin, they got a friend, they got a bookie,
Starting point is 00:12:18 they got this, come in to watch their pockets and come for their money. So the fighters don't want their salaries out there. That was his go-to line. I have a feeling Kevin Holland does not want people coming for his pockets. I have a feeling. And then he releases the second video where he's like, yeah, living this life ain't cheap. The Kevin Holland lifestyle is expensive. There's kids to take care of.
Starting point is 00:12:38 There's divorces to pay for and maybe. payments after that. So I actually think the first one was the joke one. Okay. So if it is him, the stats. Can we, can we, we did a little bit of this yesterday when we were like, who could it possibly be? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:55 If it is not Kevin Holland, it's nobody. That's my conclusion. Yeah. It must be Kevin Holland or there's no other person it could possibly be. Absolutely no other person. Danny Gay is the next closest. Yeah. He has like 21 fights.
Starting point is 00:13:10 How many of those have been in massive? spots. I think he maybe has like, does he have any main events? He might have like one or two main event. Didn't he short notice to a main event when he was fighting? Somebody fell out last minute and he ran to the apex, remember? That day. What fight was that? No, no, no, no. Was it the apex or was that UFC like 303? Oh, you're right. That might have been on a paper view. And he fought Diego Lopez? Yes, it might have been on a paper view. Which is probably, it was probably for good money, no doubt, but like, it has to be Kevin Holland. I think the biggest thing that warped my brain that is that like Danny Gay on contender series I was like wait what yeah he was one of
Starting point is 00:13:47 the early ones um here's the stats on Kevin Holland yeah 29 UFC fights that is absolutely fucking insane this is since fucking out you said it open this is since 2018 that's crazy 94 days between fights on average 21 main cards yeah 11 pay-per-view main cards yeah three main events yeah on ABC and ESPN 10 performance of the night bonuses. These were in the 50K era, so equivalent to 500,000. Six extra short-notice fights. So I'd imagine that's within like two weeks of the fight happening. Yeah. If it's anybody, it's him. I think there's a real question, is there anybody? Like, that might be a completely fabricated number as well. He's also a, he's also a bigger name than Dan Ege.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Yeah. I think more people are tuning in for Kevin Holland. He has a pretty exciting fighting style. So it lends what I mean like the short notice less than 24 hours when he fought homza at Chumayev obviously that's the switch up on the card with Nate Diaz and Antonio Ferguson at UFC 279 Daniel Rodriguez was on 24 days notice Martin Vittori was on nine days notice and that was a main event Charlie on de Vernos he did it on two days notice in 2020 Joaquin buckley did on five days notice Brendan Allen 18 days notice and you keep saying the notice I I think to illustrate the point that you get additional pay
Starting point is 00:15:13 when you step up, right? Like when you step into that spot and save the UFC's, but oftentimes they will be like, okay, we're going to pay you more than whatever the contracted amount is so that you will take this opportunity. Yeah, I mean, he said as much
Starting point is 00:15:27 when he booked the Hamzaat. I remember when they asked him about it, I think it was Joe Rogan at the ceremonial weigh-ins. He said something along the lines of like, you excited for the fight tomorrow? And he's like, fuck, no. Like, I don't want to fight a homestat. And he's just like, oh, well, like, are they taking care?
Starting point is 00:15:42 And he's like, ham. Yeah, I'm getting fucking paid. So, like, yeah, I mean, like, switching opponents from Daniel Rodriguez to, like, the boogeyman at that point in Hamzot-Thermaev is just like, okay, well, like I'll do it if you fucking pay my ass. And he ended up getting darsed in, like, something like 90 seconds. But the cheddar makes it better. Cheddar makes it better, bro. The cheddar makes it better. So, yeah, I'm with you, dude.
Starting point is 00:16:07 I'm not certain on these figures that Dan. and White is pulling. Like, there's no way to verify it. There's no way to verify it. And even when he talks about, like, social media numbers where you can verify it, by it, those are wrong as well a lot of times. Oh, you mean like when Power Slap has like 16 billion impressions in a day and shit? Give me a fucking break.
Starting point is 00:16:25 India is the greatest market. Like, whatever. The biggest, the biggest. I recently saw, like, he was talking about it and I haven't went to check and verify this, that like Power Slop has the most viewed TikTok ever. And it also has like the most viewed YouTube short ever. And that it might be. in the sports realm.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Yeah, I just don't know. Nobody cares. I just need to go check it. I just need to make sure it's true. These you cannot verify. Yeah. Kevin Holland did nothing to help the verification. That shit ain't me.
Starting point is 00:16:50 What's up, guys? $11 million man here. So yeah, we just don't know. We just don't know, but I am with you. If it's anybody, it has to be Kevin Holland. Must be. Now, once you start, it's because of the non-championship fight part of that. Of course.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Once you start getting to like Carlos Oldberg Sean O'Malley Jamal Hill Now you're like okay I can believe that these guys are making those types of sums of money Sean O'Malley definitely Sean O'Malley is like a no
Starting point is 00:17:20 I would believe it He's got to be The championship I hope so Pedigree I fucking hope so I know land ain't that expensive in Arizona but he's on a compound
Starting point is 00:17:30 with Lambeaus and shit I hope he's made a lot of money I hope so's where I stand But if you want to go find out how much the third string running back on the Atlanta Falcons, it just takes a quick Google search. You can find out everything about it. Or Connor Ben.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Yeah. Connor Ben makes quite a bit more. Or whenever they do fights in California, purses get released as well. But, you know, that's not. The fake ones, though. Yeah, the fake one. That is neither here nor there. Let's keep rolling along.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Tom Aspinall, speaking of, you know, staying active and fighting. When are we going to see Tom Aspinall back? He took to social media and made an announcement after his striking coach came out on his Instagram live and was just like, yeah, I don't know if he's going to be fighting anymore. Tom says, I'm not leaving the UFC. Never said I have in any interview and any words that have been taken from others today are simply not true. We're talking with the UFC Daily and they will update you guys always.
Starting point is 00:18:23 So many of us holding out hope that it will be Tom Aspinall versus Cyril Gone 2 at MSG, UFC 334 in November. But I was just going to have to wait and see because there's some other heavywe. knocking on the door to get their title opportunity. Josh Hokit took to Twitter in response to Tom's post and says, Tom, for every day you refuse to vacate your belt, two citizens in Gotham will die.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Signed Mexican Joker. He's always staying active on Twitter. Now, was that a hang? He is active on Twitter. He is like fucking Twitter fingers to the max. Twitter fingers, but also he'll pull up as well. Oh, no, no, no. I'm not saying that to say he's only Twitter fingers in that he will not fight.
Starting point is 00:19:10 He wants to fight, no doubt. The Twitter fingers are smart. It's a good way to build your brand. Was that a little, was that foreshadowing? Two people in Gotham die? Gotham, New York? M.S. 334. Did he just book it?
Starting point is 00:19:25 Interesting. All right. A few things from that. On the Tom statement. It's encouraging because it's not, as you said, the genesis of this was his striking coach. on Alive had said something to the effect of Tom's not going to fight in the UFC. He is shooting down that rumor. That makes me very hopeful.
Starting point is 00:19:44 That makes me excited. That makes me think, okay, all is not lost. But the fact that he's not like, this is when I'm planning to come back, or you will see me soon, or I'm ready to fight, just waiting, makes me less hopeful, which is unfortunate. I am getting just bad juju. Like, I'm just getting bad vibes right now from this whole Tom Aspenall situation. Like, it is, it is concerning that we don't really have any clarity now, years removed from when this incident happened and what's going to happen next for him. Or when was it? What was the, what was the date of the fight?
Starting point is 00:20:26 It was October of last year. Okay, so almost, almost a year. We're coming up on a year. Yeah. That is concerning to me. but I'm going to take a wait and see approach. But the fact that it's just like the UFC will, and also maybe like a little bit of a dig.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Like the UFC, stay tuned to the UFC's channel. They'll announce it is like a little bit like. Watch this space. Snarky, yeah. If we get an announcement for 334. Yeah, that's MSG, that's November. That's MSG? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:57 And it's not Tom versus Cyril? Concerning. Concerns will begin. Very. Very. Yeah. If Tom does not come back this year, that's very concerned. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:21:07 I don't like that because it was UFC 321. Here's the Cal Shi' odds right now. Tom Aspenall, 57% to retain that heavyweight title. Cyril gone 42%, Josh Oket, 5%. Yeah, this is who will be championed at the end of the year. Man. If Tom is not on that card, I would not be surprised if they do a vacant title, Cyril Gond, Josh Oket.
Starting point is 00:21:32 Well, Cyril's interim. So it would just be, you're a. saying it would just be for the offense. What would, what would happen in that scenario is they just make Cyril champ, and then Hokit would fight him for the belt. That's true. Yeah, I guess that's true because that's what they did with.
Starting point is 00:21:44 That's what they did with Tom when John retired. I don't know, man. It's bad, it's bad right now. I don't like where we're at with Tom. Yeah, yeah. It's, it's like the scary, yeah, it's this, like, scary weird limbo of, like, we can't start getting into, like,
Starting point is 00:22:00 what if territory. We need, we need them to fight. And the worst thing, working against Tom. Beyond, like, we should state, I have an affinity for Tom Aspinall. I like Tom Aspinall. I want Tom Aspinall to be extremely successful.
Starting point is 00:22:13 I want it to be healthy. All those things. I want him to be backfighting because I sat here months ago and said, like, I think he could be the biggest star in the UFC. I think he has all the potential in the world. I love Tom Aspinall. I want Tom Aspinall back and I want him to be healthy. The things working against Tom Aspinall,
Starting point is 00:22:30 besides just the health and all that stuff, are, A, they just gave Cyril gone an interim title. So they don't need Tom Aspinall's belt. There's a heavyweight belt that's in circulation right now. There's a heavyweight belt that if Tom Aspinall is still on the sidelines, whether they strip them or not, that belt can be contested. That belt can be defended. He can have an interim title defense before Tom Aspinall comes back,
Starting point is 00:22:53 or they could do a situation like we said where Tom gets stripped of the belt and Cyril becomes champion. So that's one thing. Cyril is a champion and ready to go. much worse news Josh Hokit is here and ready to fight Josh Hokit is not a guy who's going to sit there and stick the UFC up for money right now
Starting point is 00:23:12 because he just got here. He just got here a minute ago and he's ready to go and he wants to be UFC champion. That's a problem. That's a real problem. Because when you have a guy like that who's ready to go, that means he can fill it.
Starting point is 00:23:24 If Tom's not ready, that call to Josh would be immediate. Josh is filling in right then. And so you have a real problem in terms of the timeline if you're Tom Aspinall. We need to know, like, are you fighting? There's going to be a point in time where the UFC says,
Starting point is 00:23:38 we need to know, are you fighting? And that answer is going to be critical. To your point, it was this time exactly last year, Guillermo Uriel, who fought this past week on Dana-White Contender Series is who Josh Hok could beat. Crazy. One year ago, he is now 4-0 in the UFC, wins over. Max Geminist, Denzel Freeman, Curtis, Blades, Derek Lewis.
Starting point is 00:23:59 And, yeah, to your point, man, he hasn't fought since June. he went to absolute war with Curtis Blades and was just like, Tumont, turn around? Sure. Come on. Sign me up. I'm there.
Starting point is 00:24:10 He is champing at the bit to get a fight. And if it's four in interim, vacant, whatever title, he will be there, especially if it's at Madison Square Garden. We showed those calciads. I don't mind the five percent
Starting point is 00:24:24 traded on Jay. I don't mind it. Imagine saying that this time last year. Crazy. Absolutely insane talk. But like he has done. fucking crazy because you just don't know like you just there's just no way to predict what's going to happen like the Sean Strickland from fucking losing to becoming champ turnaround was insane yeah I mean honestly like the first one too
Starting point is 00:24:47 I'm talking about the first one god yeah yeah that was absolutely insane uh to go from like split decision to Jared Cananere and then like nine months later it's like oh he's champ now beat izzie crazy yeah I mean there's just no way to know and like you see some of these guys coming off contender series now Humphreys this week. You just, like, you just don't know what's going to, like, talks a big game. Especially at heavyweight. That's the key.
Starting point is 00:25:09 Heavyweight is, like, open season. There are just, it's a wasteland. Well, that's kind of the, that's kind of the unfortunate part for Bel-A-Mere, because she's at 135 in women's. If she had rolled, could have just been like, man. Two more in a title shot. Now, here's the fortunate part. She might not have been ready for that.
Starting point is 00:25:26 Like, as clear by that fight, she is not ready for that. And so maybe it's better to. I'm not going to say, I'm not going to say, I'm not going to say best case in here. Yo, Gabriel Steven is Olympic gold medalist. Put some fucking respect on that man's name. What? Are we getting Gable, Elisheloson 3 or what?
Starting point is 00:25:43 Come on. Let's get it. Let's get it moving along. I'm fucking, I'm so mad at the way that they're booking him. I'm so fucking mad. They're slow rolling it. All right. We're hoping that's what's going to be on 334 at Madison Square Garden.
Starting point is 00:25:56 Yes, please. Tom versus Cyril, please. Let's talk about UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Alexander Volcanowski sat down with our guy Nico Paharillo who does fantastic work for Fox Sports down in Australia and talked about his matchup with Mofsar of Lov and
Starting point is 00:26:10 he did not shy away of what style matchup he wants to see here's Volkan Mofsar people are going to sit there and be like is it going to be another point fight? He ain't holding me down it's going to be a strike of fight because I'm going to keep it there you know what I mean and I told him and I was clear when because he tried in the Lerone Murphy fight
Starting point is 00:26:28 to stand up which I did. didn't like because I mean like you know I get it he's trying to impress everyone and all I said no like I think the fights he's gonna sell better it's like you're this underfeited guy with this style I don't care if people think it's boring who cares you're gonna let's see if that new style works with me it ain't I go don't you dare try and just strike with me to entertain the fans I go it's gonna be striking because I'm gonna make it bring your best as well yes you come with your ultimate goal game plan it's gonna be exciting because I'm
Starting point is 00:27:00 I'm going to force you to fight on your feet, not because you're choosing to. I love it. I love it, man. I love the way that he's just talking. At this age, I believe he's 37 years old now. He's done everything you can in the sport. He chased glory and tried to get that 155 pound title a couple of times again. Islammachar fell short, but has successfully come back to defend his 145 pound title after losing it to Ilya.
Starting point is 00:27:21 And he's sort of talking. He's just like, yeah, if things go like real south against Mosar, like I'll probably just hang it up. But if not, we'll just keep the train rolling. and then it's just like undefeated guy coming in here, 10 and 0, I believe, in the UFC, who loves grappling, obviously. Only decision wins so far in the UFC, and Volk isn't like trying to goad him into the stand-up.
Starting point is 00:27:44 He's just like, bro, try to wrestle. You're not going to be able to wrestle. We're going to stay standing because I want it to stay standing. I love it, man. Love Volk. It's refreshing honesty in terms of what you're talking about of like, if it goes well, I'm staying, if it goes poorly, I'm out, you don't often like people don't often like talk in those terms they're kind of like
Starting point is 00:28:01 not even wanting to think about the outcome of walking away which is a great place for vogue to be at because remember when like he was going through those losses to Islam that was like massive massive wind streak snapped for him he lost his championship status then you go through the ilia thing and everything and it's just like he was having days where like he couldn't not drink and everything he didn't really know what to do with himself now he's got cooking with vogue now He's got the farm down on Australia. He obviously has the wife and the kids and everything. Kind of feels like he's at this great point in his life
Starting point is 00:28:32 where it's just like till the wheels fall off, man. And once they fall off, I'm going. See you. Yeah. And also, so that's the first part, right? Like, I'm loving the honesty from bulk. And then I'm just loving like how badass that motherfucker is. When he's just like, Mom, I'm sorry, I have a little eff.
Starting point is 00:28:48 You grapple everybody. You're the best grappler on the planet. You better fucking come grapple me, all right? Bring that shit. All right? Don't stand and strike with you. me don't try and impress him because you're not going to finish me yeah he finished nobody you're not going to finish me all right fuck volk's volk is like an old school motherfucker i love him um
Starting point is 00:29:06 i'm really excited about that fight i want to see like there's many people who don't want to see mavsar evloev grapple for what reason i don't know because the the worst part of the fight with lorone murphy was when he's trying to be exciting and not wrestling like he is a your strength, bro. Demon. Like, that's what I want to see. I want to see the exchanges that I saw in the Al Jemaine Sterling fight. I want to see if Volk can test himself against the guy as good as Montseravlov. And what I love is Volk's like, yes, that's what I want to. It's great. It's like, it's like, remember when we rolled back the, um, the Michael Johnson, uh, Justin Gaichi, like when Gaichi was debuting and Michael Johnson's like, I'm coming to kill you. And Justin's like,
Starting point is 00:29:49 yes. Yeah. I want to die. Come try to kill me. It's that. It's like, Volk is like, yes, do it. I want to see it. And I think the fans are going to love that. The guy's killing it. The guy's killing it. Go support his YouTube channel. Cooking with Volk on Instagram already has like over a million followers. The absolute man. Can we go go back to that footage? I don't want to play the footage, but go back to the wide shot. I want to see a still of the wide shot. You're saying to the gym, clean white match. Yeah, in the gym. That's the Fox Sports. Shout out to Nico Paa Rio. Is our boy Nico squatting or is he sitting? That's a good question. It looks like he's sitting, leaned up, and
Starting point is 00:30:24 Just keeping the knees in tight. Or is he against a wall with a little space underneath? I see shadow. Like, is he? That's absolutely savage if that's... If he's squatting? Bro's got legs, man. He's got legs for days if he's squatting.
Starting point is 00:30:36 But I think he's just sat up and... He looks uncomfortable. Nico, get comfortable, man. He does, I mean, Volk looks... Vogue looks like the Sensei. Yeah. Like, he just looks like he's... This is after class.
Starting point is 00:30:48 You just got in a good role. The sense is just like... Someone's about to bring him like a hot Yurbamante tea. Yeah. And, like, he's just here to give you a life lesson. Shout out to Nico, though, one of the talented young dudes in this game. Legend, legend, legend. Go follow him on IG.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Post some great content there. He has some great exclusive interviews with a lot of high-level UFC fighters. Frank, you ever sort out those legal issues we were talking about? No, no, man, they won't stick. Boy, do I have good news for you? Oh. Did you guys hear... Oh.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Did you guys hear Floyd Mayweather has gotten into the legal department? He has opened up his own legal network. TeamMoney Team. Dot legal. Try to see that. There it is. The Money Team Legal Network. When you get hit, you deserve to get paid.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Injured, we fight. You get paid. Yeah, this actually seems to be legit. I was like diving deep on the website. Like this is like any sort of like injury attorney service that he has set up. Now, to be clear, you hire them, they do a consultation and then they kind of set you up with like a local attorney. This is not a law firm. But this is like, even the commercial was like one that you see like during your like 615 local news broadcast.
Starting point is 00:32:11 And it's just like, call the strong arm. That's sort of like what they dove into. Do you think this is a good or bad sign for the people that's, say Floyd Mayweather's broke right now. Wait, are you asking, is this good for the people who say he's broke or is this good for Floyd Mayweather saying he's not broke? Yeah, either one. Pick aside.
Starting point is 00:32:33 I'm not sure what this is or why it's happening right now, but I don't like it. I don't like it one bit. It's a bit bizarre. You know, there is the greatest boxer of this, like, generation. and he's out here hock and like, let me connect you with a lawyer. Yeah, it's like a little bit tough, man. Right?
Starting point is 00:32:56 Like, no, sorry, not only the greatest, the most well paid, the highest profitability of any fighter of this recent generation as well. Greatest and highest paid. And, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:09 those reports that continue to come out of various lawsuits and him owing money and there was the bounce check and all this stuff. And then it's like, Guess what, guys? Let me put that to rest. I'm going to open this website and connect you with a fucking lawyer, man. We got it. I can't imagine this is going to be that successful.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Is he going directly after the Morgan and Morgan's of the world? Well, those are real lawyers, no? That's a law firm. He is not the law firm. He is an intermediary service, or this money team network, is a intermediary service where they connect you with those. people. I have the way in. Here we have some legalese. Yeah, this website is a legal marketing service and not a law firm. There you go. On the previous graphic, it said there's no fine print
Starting point is 00:33:59 to get you. And then there's like eight lines of fine print. They connect potential claimants with independent participating attorneys who are solely responsible for their legal services they provide. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every case is different. Got to be judged on its own merits. No representation is made that the quality of legal services to be performed is greater than that of other lawyers. Cases may be referred to
Starting point is 00:34:28 other attorneys or law forms. You may be responsible for costs in some circumstances. The whole thing is like, you don't pay unless we win. You might have to be a system for the site is not a lawyer. I was going to say, I love that the chatbot is not, it has to be classified as not a lawyer. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:34:44 so shout out to Floyd Mayweather. The chat box is not a lawyer. Oh, I thought he had his degree. I thought he just passed the bar. Couldn't you just tell the bot to go to law school and then come back in a few years? Chad, could you study six years worth of law school and get back to me on this? Pass the bar? Yeah, so times, times might be.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Maybe tough? Might be tough. Who knows? That's weird. It's supposed to just be like two weeks away from that fight against Manny Pack. Yeah, with the sphere on there. Probably would have paid a couple bones. It might be, it might be tough times.
Starting point is 00:35:18 for Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury that we were supposed to get this fall as well We're in TBD land We're in this limbo of Will it happen? Won't it happen? We got an update from Frank Warren Who spoke to IFL TV Who essentially put the ball in the court
Starting point is 00:35:36 of Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hur and take a listen Go back over the year This is before most people Who are watching this would know iconic fights You think of Ali versus Foreman. Two American, massive American
Starting point is 00:35:50 fighters. The biggest fight out there at the time. Vegas wanted it. Madison Square Guard where did it go on? Zaire. Zaire. Why did it go to Zaire? Because that's where they felt they could generate the most money. The promoters.
Starting point is 00:36:07 Ali Frazier, third fight, which turned out be an unbelievable fight. Again, Vegas Madison Square Guards all wanted. Where did it go on? In the Nile?
Starting point is 00:36:24 Joe Bugner, when he fought Alley, where did it go on to make the most money? Quarra. I can go through loans. They're professional fighters. At the end of the day, the purses they're getting, a huge purses, huge purses. No one else could pay this stuff. This has only come up because of circumstances.
Starting point is 00:36:42 So the circumstances are there. It's a moment in time. Should it be on at Wembley, the two guys? Of course it should be on at Wembley. They're two Brits. But they won't get the same money. And it won't work for the promoters. They're putting up the money.
Starting point is 00:36:59 So that's where it's at. And it's really simple. If you don't want it, don't fight. If you do, want it, get on with it. It's really as simple as that. Yeah, so there, Frank Warren, saying essentially some of the biggest fights in boxing didn't happen where they were supposed to happen.
Starting point is 00:37:16 We all understand Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua. It is an absolute no-brainer for it to take place in England, but sometimes the money doesn't direct that way. And in this circumstance, if you're going to explain it to someone why it isn't there, you're doing it on a Saturday in the fall. If you do it in the UK, you're going to have to do it in the afternoon here in the States. If you do that, you're going to be competing directly against college football. Will Netflix be interested in that?
Starting point is 00:37:42 Probably not. a la, you put it at Madison Square Garden. I don't think Netflix is worried about the gate at the stadium. I think they're worried about how many people are going to tune into Netflix to watch it. And to the point that you're making and Frank is making, Netflix is the driver of the money in this scenario, right? Netflix is the one who's going to pay you a lot to put on this fight. Wembley Stadium is going to cost you a lot to put on this fight.
Starting point is 00:38:06 It's the economics of the fight game, and I think this might be the best example of somebody laying it all out. Like Frank Warren has laid this out simply and perfectly in order to describe like, yes, we all want this to happen at Wembley Stadium in the UK. But the economics of this would dictate that it might be more profitable to do it in November at MSG. The real question is London, New York, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, wherever you want to put it. Is it going to happen? Here's a Frank Warren has said. All I can tell you, Tyson is signed.
Starting point is 00:38:40 he says he'll fight you've heard him he said it himself wherever wherever just get it on that's what Tyson says so he's going to fight he's going to fight and hopefully and I do believe and I hope
Starting point is 00:38:56 I'm right I believe that AJ will be in the opposite corner Is there a danger of the fight not happening I'll ask you Well it doesn't The only danger of fight not happening is if If matrim and AJ don't sign, then it won't happen.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Frank Warren, who obviously has a history of representing Tyson Fury being like, well, Matrim and AJ, bro, we're signed. We're ready to go. Tyson Fury obviously going on the rants earlier this week from the elliptical with the treadmill noise in the background. They're basically putting the ball in their court. And the important part of that beyond just like, you know, tossing the ball their way is Frank reiterated, as Tyson said in those elliptical videos, anywhere, right? He is not, there's two sides to this fight.
Starting point is 00:39:47 There's the Anthony Joshua side and there's the Tyson Fury side. On the Tyson Fury side, he said, I'm signed, I'm ready, I'll fight anywhere. On the AJ side, via Eddie Hearn, because we don't really hear AJ speak on many of these matters. Like Eddie is going to handle his business affairs. Eddie has said, we're signed, we're ready. not anywhere. Like we signed a contract to fight in Wembley in the UK,
Starting point is 00:40:12 so let's do that. And so when you look at those two sides, there's only one way, as Frank Warren outlined, that this gets derailed. And that is if that sticking point, Eddie Hearn saying that we want more money. Now, there was that last week
Starting point is 00:40:26 we had the whole list of demands and blah, blah, blah, blah. The thing that Eddie Hearn has crystallized this to is there's a small list of demands. It's not related to Snooker and all these other parts. It is related to we want to recoup the money that Anthony Joshua will lose by fighting in the United States, in New York City, as opposed to in the UK. And then we're ready to go. But until those demands are met, we're not ready to go. So it would stand to reason that if this fight does not happen, that was at least a contributing factor to it.
Starting point is 00:40:56 And that's what Frank Warren's saying is like, Tyson's not worried about any of that other stuff. Tyson's ready to go. He's not drawing a line in the sand and saying it has to be this. maybe he's not even asking for more money. Anthony Joshua's side has come out publicly and said we are asking for more money. So Dicey's, I'm getting less and less hopeful again. Like we've been here before with all this bullshit and this happens with Pacio and Mayweather as well. Like I can just see this thing collapsing at the last minute.
Starting point is 00:41:26 Here's Kalshi 79%. That's going to happen this year. That in the next... I hope so. That in the next four. months. We're about to be on, we're about to be at September 1st next Tuesday. In the next four months, we will see Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua Sherer ring together. Seventy-nine percent seems optimistic. We shall see. It does feel like there's a little bit too much money at stake. Where is it going to
Starting point is 00:41:51 take place? That's kind of the question. Who's to check? I think Wembley is a good spot. I think MSG is a good spot. Last week we saw Dana White come out talking about, and me and Craig Busario, my great producer who put on the White House card, we've got a next impossible location, the next place that we're going to pull this thing off and no one's going to be able to believe it. It's not going to be as big as the White House, but this is a location that is going to blow people's minds.
Starting point is 00:42:17 A lot of people speculating, where's it going to be, where's it going to be, where's it going to be? The offshore sportsbook bet online released odds for where it could possibly be. Some decent ideas in here. The Las Vegas Strip is your favorite at plus 300. There's Mount Rushmore, I don't think Mount Rushmore.
Starting point is 00:42:34 That feels like to like America charged, like the White House just, we just did that one. Is Las Vegas Strip even that crazy? Does that blow your mind? It doesn't blow my mind, but like an outdoor fight on the Las Vegas Strip would be crazy.
Starting point is 00:42:49 Yeah, I'd be like, damn, I can't believe the... That point, just do it on the fountain at the Belagia. You got to dodge the Jets. They did like NHL All-Star game stuff on the fountain. Oh, true.
Starting point is 00:43:00 That's not a bad shout. I don't think that that, that's that, that to me is not like that crazy. Like, I don't think that that's actually, like, mind-blowing. Can we put that list back up here? Mount Rushmore? I don't think they're going to do a fight in the Dakota. Are they fighting on the fucking heads?
Starting point is 00:43:18 Like, where are they fighting? Yeah. In the canyon or on the heads? It would be in the canyon with the background. I don't think they do it there. Alcatraz would be nuts. Have you ever seen Richie Rich? Uh-uh.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Would McCauley Culkin? No, shout out to McCulligan, though. There's a, there's like a secret base inside the, head and then he like pops out like the nose or something yeah all right Alcatraz I don't think that's that crazy either only because Turkey said it
Starting point is 00:43:42 Turkey's been talking about that Grand Canyon would be nuts she can't imagine they're going to do a fight at the Grand Canyon UFC Grand Canyon just looking at these you Central Park that would actually be nuts one here that is extremely
Starting point is 00:43:58 disrespectful like if it ever happened there is it Hawaii location that one's disrespectful you're saying that one's disrespectful because it's like that's just the state bro like it's like they they're describing these like locales that it's like oh how could they do it what's the
Starting point is 00:44:15 and Hawaii's just like Hawaii I mean that that's more exotic than Sedona Arizona like what the wait Sedona Arizona was on there Sedona's on there plus 3,300 like yeah that's also two hours north of Phoenix Sedona's a sick little spot
Starting point is 00:44:30 I think the Hawaii thing is just because they've never been able to pull it off. We obviously know Bellator has gone there before and everything like that. But if they did an event in Hawaii, are you like, what? They did it in Hawaii? Could they sell out Aloha Stadium? Is that what it's still called? Where the Rainbow Warriors play?
Starting point is 00:44:47 I don't know if it's still called that, but it was once called that. But yeah, that's the football. Do they still have the rainbow on there? Yeah. They're the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors? Well, they're the Warriors, but I think they still. They dropped the rainbow? No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:44:58 I don't think they did. In this day and age? Come on. Yeah, Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football. Respect. Would they sell out Hawaii's, like, that stadium? If Max Holloway was on the card, yeah. And Kendall Grove.
Starting point is 00:45:14 I don't know. And Brad DeVars. There's a few problems with Hawaii and why they've never done it. And it's a logistics and monetary thing. For one, you're doing an outdoor event in Hawaii in a place that has sun showers, like, all the time. Like you're just welcoming potential weather. The heat obviously a factor. The tourism board hasn't wanted to pay for it in the past.
Starting point is 00:45:36 The tourism board has not wanted to like pony up the money that it costs to bring the UFC there. The logistics of bringing all the fighters to Hawaii and their corners and this and the production staff, another nightmare. The ticket sales for that would have to be lower than average price. Like the way that Frank Warren described the economics of why it makes all the sense in the world to go to MS. it really hasn't made sense for the UFC to go to Hawaii. So it's a weird one. Disney World on there, Disneyland. Why is Disney World plus 1,600,
Starting point is 00:46:08 and Disneyland is plus 25? Because I assume Florida is easier to clear than California. Also, by the way, Aloha Stadium. They do so many events in California. I don't think Disney, with their former ties to the UFC through ESPN, is like, yeah, come on down. Let's do it. It's like a kid's theme park.
Starting point is 00:46:28 The chat has points. it out that Aloha Stadium no longer exists. What is the name of the stadium? I don't know, but they tore down Aloha Stadium. Alaska location, no chance. If we thought we had a problem with the White House, like people being like, oh, this is disrespectful, we think Gettysburg is any better?
Starting point is 00:46:46 Gettysburg? I mean, why would we do it there? Why not? Because you're just in the middle of a field. Damn, just a field to you, huh? what is it to you frank that's where my uncle died
Starting point is 00:47:08 he got COVID and went to Gettysburg not the same uncle asshole how did he die Frank get this uncle uh bullet civil war which side who's the check this is your dad's way older brother or is this on the mom's son
Starting point is 00:47:27 maternal uncle yeah on the mom's side what color was he wearing what was his name teodette Teoborto is what we used to call. Jesus. Pentagon, no chance. Pentagon?
Starting point is 00:47:42 There's no chance. Like fucking clearances and shit? They're like Justin Gage has to scan in this time. Coachella, no chance. Riggily could be pretty cool. I don't know if it's any of these. Rigley could be pretty fucking sick. I mean, yeah, Wrigley would be amazing.
Starting point is 00:47:56 There's no chance it's Fenway because they're not just going to go somewhere that BKFC is going this week. There's just no chance. Yeah, we'll see We'll see It could be something that we just We never even find out Outer space That'd be something
Starting point is 00:48:12 The Space Spurius The Coliseum International Spaces Yeah, no fucking way They've talked about How much money it would cost To run that I think they said that
Starting point is 00:48:20 Like Zuckerberg and Elon Would have to front the bill for that one Yeah but they lost money On the White House True 30 mil would be peanuts Compared to actually doing An event at the
Starting point is 00:48:31 Coliseum We got a bit of breaking news here via Sport 24 Usbander Magamatov revealed that he has turned that he turned down an offer from the PFL worth over $2 million per fight in the past negotiations with the PFL are still ongoing 90 days have to pass
Starting point is 00:48:54 after that we'll see but I have previously turned down $2 million when we made our request for a new contract the numbers were different higher than 2 million okay let me say one thing you were reading out a tweet from championship rounds. Now here reading this quote, he does not say $2 million per fight.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Now, it may have been $2 million per fight, but that quote said $2 million for a contract. It did not say $2 million per fight. And so I wonder if that number was $2 million per fight or if that number was, hey, we'll do a three-fight deal for $2 million. You know what I mean? Like, I don't know the economics of this.
Starting point is 00:49:34 And we're also doing this. You said Sport 24 was the original source. via translation maybe. So I'd like to hear more about what this is. But now we at least have some kind of semblance of a picture, right? We know that in the past, Usman Nmragamatov had a negotiation with the PFL and said no to $2 million or potentially more if it was $2 million for X number of fights. And so now we know they're going to have to pony up, right? If they want him, let's say in the circumstances was $2 million per fight.
Starting point is 00:50:06 there's not a lot of guys in the UFC making $2 million per fight. Especially not a lot of guys who have never fought in the UFC. So if that is what the PFL offered and he's willing to potentially forego that to go to the UFC, he is extremely motivated to be a UFC fighter. If they come with an offer that's even higher than that, the PFL slash MVP is very motivated to keep Usman. It's very fascinating how this will all play out. I am interested, though, if it was $2 million total or if it was $2 million per fight. Yeah, it's tough to get that when you're just looking at aggregators because you see championship rounds, you know, tweeted out who they have great coverage and everything, but they are just aggregating everything.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Then you see all the other aggregators run with it and that everyone is running with it, that it was $2 million for private. So great, great catch on your part of me, just reading verbatim on that tweet because the quote does not give that. Yeah, he turned down $2 million. And it's possible it was per fight. I'm not saying it wasn't. I'm just saying he has not said that explicitly and miss. Speaking of Team Nirmaga Medov, this week, Marad Valsvili joined this program, and he also went on social, and Islam had things to say over in Russia. And there seems to be something wrong with New York Rick here. Did you just bump your knee? What happened?
Starting point is 00:51:25 Bad hamster crap. Oh, he cramped up a little Charlie Horse. That's tough. That's tough. Yeah, I just turned over, and Rick was literally just like, So yeah, sorry, I got to distract you there. Is there a new Dagestani rivalry brewing? We know the lore and the history of Ireland, right? Ireland versus Dagestan. Is it now? Marabdavalashvili versus Dagestan.
Starting point is 00:51:52 Let's go through the timeline here of a few clips. I mentioned he joined the Ariel Hawani show earlier this week, and he spoke about his rivalry with Umar, Nirmagamatov. Here's what he had to say. The only guy who I don't like from Dagestan, that is Umar and he's a sneaky manager. Uh, uh, his name is Rizwan. The guy who was, I find out later, who was, I guess, helping Umar to disrespect me on X and threats to or road all the bad disrespectful things for me and they even mentioned my country for disrespectful ways. And this Rizwan, he's sneaky manager.
Starting point is 00:52:35 He's been in Georgia. He's been treated welcome. He's been treated very well there. But even after that, he disrespect me. He disrespect my country. He's sneaky guy. Yeah, so they fought before, obviously, Maradovaevich really beating him at UFC 311 back in January of 2025. So they have that history within the Octagon.
Starting point is 00:52:57 But, man, it feels like there is actually a. a strong dislike between Marath Valshili and Umar Nirmagamatov specifically. We saw the incident that took place at the Raffavan in Georgia back in July. When somebody said something related to Umar to him and that set him off. Yeah, it feels like that that is what he doesn't like about the Dagestanis is specifically Umar Namagamatov. Uh, Islam, Makashv spoke with reporters in Russia after a lot of people speculated that Marad de Valshhhhili was upset when Islam won his title.
Starting point is 00:53:34 He was doing a stream with Nina Drama and didn't exactly show excitement when Islam won, despite showing respect on social media and everything like that. Here's what Islam had to say in regards to Marad Váhavashvili. You raised the Russian flag in the octagon. This is a reporter asking me a question. And we all saw Marab de Václavale's controversial reaction to that. Did you see it? And what do you make of it? Yeah, I did see his reason.
Starting point is 00:54:00 reaction. I saw the video of him watching my fight and he didn't seem happy. To see me succeed in the octagon, but I don't pay attention to things like that. He had already said some things about it a lot of times, but Pyotr Yon beat him and raised the flag afterwards, and I think he'll beat him again and make him silent. That's Islam Makashv talking about Marad Vashvili. Now, Marab hasn't really ever gone directly at Islam Mahesh. So he took to his socials to address the Walterweight champion. Here's what he had to say.
Starting point is 00:54:42 What's up, guys? I just saw Islam Mahesh's video about how I was react while watching his fight against Yanari. This is Islam saying he wasn't happy? I want to make a couple of things clear. Bro, I think Islama was supposed to win this fight, but of course Islam Machia's wrestling, fight experience is much better. I like Ian Garry, you know,
Starting point is 00:55:03 and then I also like Islam Mahachia. I think Islam Mahachar is one of the nicest guy. I like Islam Mahatchez. I think he's a great and humble champion. I respect all the hard work. He's putting into the career, and I have nothing but respect for him. I have a good respect and very respect to hard work to you.
Starting point is 00:55:22 I congratulate Islam. the fight. I also congratulate Yeah, so there's Marab essentially being like, yep, me and Islam, we've been cordial with each other, we've been, you know, we've had polite relations. I congratulated him on, on his win against Ian Gary,
Starting point is 00:55:39 on social media, and we sort of have a cordial back and forth. So Marab coming out and being like, I don't have any problem with Islam Maheshav, that's not the issue, Islamakashv being like, yo man, you've never wanted to see me succeed. Piora already beat you once. He raised that Russian flag, and he's
Starting point is 00:55:54 going to do it again at UFC 333 in October. Umar Nirmagamatov, who obviously we spoke about at the beginning of this, the rivalry that him and Marab have joined Mike Bonn on the bonfire and had this to say about his relationship with Marab de Valshwili. Is it personal with you guys? He's doing interviews even today talking about you. Did it's personal? I think yes, already is.
Starting point is 00:56:27 Now it's personal. Did that change after what happened with your friend at the wrestling event? Yeah. Now it's personal not for just for me. It's personal for all Dagestan. Do you hope he wins though, so you can both beat him and get the title in one night? It's going to be better. Yeah, so Umar's saying not only is it personal, and it's not just personal for me, it's personal for all of Dagestan, stemming from that altercation that they had at the Raphibin back in July. So not only that, he's rooting for Mrab now,
Starting point is 00:57:05 Because he wants to beat a man and get the bell at the same time. And if you remember that fight, it was 48-47 Marab's way, and Omar broke his hand and everything like that. It was his first career loss. I'm sure that he really wants to get revenge on this. And now that he's saying it's personally, he definitely wants revenge on that. And it kind of, you know, supports his argument
Starting point is 00:57:21 that it's personal for all of Daxistan against Marab. Because Islam's sort of like, yeah, he doesn't want to see him succeed. Fuck him. Jodaryon's going to beat him. I want this fight desperately. Like, Jan would be a great opponent for, he's going to be a great opponent in the in the trilogy fight with marab he'd be a great opponent for
Starting point is 00:57:39 umar but man marab and umar is is building to a level that i'm like getting into this is genuine kind of like animosity that we don't often get right the let the most recent example we had all that build up between hamzad and and sean strickland and then we saw the aftermath right like it's lovey dovey they're hugging and then now they're trying to build it back up but we saw what that was. I don't think that Maraub and Umar dapping each other up or giving each other hugs after they fight. I would love to see the fight again. The first fight was a fantastic fight. This is obviously on the table. Great fight. Umar and Magamato fighting Song Yandong, who is a top five bantamate this weekend in Shanghai. If he gets past this and Marab gets past Piotr Yon in October, he is the underdog
Starting point is 00:58:28 in that fight and he just lost Peter Yon the last time out in December, if he's able to get his belt back, it does, in my opinion, set up a rematch for Umar Marab. Now, is there any concern for you on this becoming ugly because some of this is politically driven? It is not just animosity over personalities and this guy did that and everything like that. A lot of the, you know, the reporters asked Islamakashiv there, we saw Marab's reaction to the Russian flag being brought into the Octagon and how he felt about that. And Marab has come out and been out spoken about it. Even in that video, he goes into a history of Georgia and Russia and everything like that.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Is there any concern that the animosity goes too far because it's politically charged between Russia and Georgia? Not for me because I think that creates a good base level. I think that creates a good undertone for it. at the top level Marab is a professional like Marab is a wild man but he's not off like
Starting point is 00:59:38 just punching people I mean he did just slap that guy actually now that I think about it he slapped the guy that made him I'm not concerned because I think they will want to get to the fight but I don't know it makes for a better fight
Starting point is 00:59:53 it makes for what we want like this is the genuine animosity that I want no matter what the motivation is if you remove Dagestan, Georgia, their backgrounds from it, there's still a man there in Marab who does not like Umar. No doubt. And in Umar, there's still a man who does not like Marab. And so that's enough for me.
Starting point is 01:00:13 That's kind of my point. There's this fire of they don't like each other because obviously Islam Makashiv is also Russian and Marab is coming out and he's just like, I like Islam. I'm cool with Islam. I respect Islam. It's Umar that I don't like. So to your point, like, there can be cordialness and professionalism and everything like that. There is just like that fear of like, you know, the fire getting thrown on.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Oh, yeah. Or, I mean, the gasoline getting thrown on this fire between them where, you know, they pull out the Russian flag and Marat feels a certain type of way. And you just, you just never know. Let's do a trilogy. I'm in. I'm in on this storyline. Like, we have so few, we have so rarely an example of, of guys. that genuinely dislike each other.
Starting point is 01:00:59 And for Umar to sit there for 30 seconds pondering, shout out to Mike Bond with a great interview there, pondering whether it's personal for him, it would have been easy for him to be like, yeah, it's personal and just hype it like a promo. Or to do the opposite, it'd be like, it's not personal, just business. But no, he sat there and thought about,
Starting point is 01:01:18 do I fucking hate this guy? And took him 30 seconds to arrive at, yeah, I do hate this guy. And not only that, all of Dagestan hates this guy. I fucking love it. You're actually talking about him the other day. Me and Islam, we were fucking shooting the shit.
Starting point is 01:01:30 We hate him. I love it. I love what's happening here. And it has set up, as you said, the most important part that you said is that that fight was great. The first fight between them was fucking fantastic. And many people have wondered if Umar doesn't hurt his hand in that, I believe is in the first round or second round.
Starting point is 01:01:48 It was early in the fight. What happens? Does Umar get it done? And we've only seen Umar continue to roll since. So fuck yeah. I love this fight. I love what they're building toward. They both have tough tests in front of them, right?
Starting point is 01:02:00 Umar has Song Yodong this weekend. Marab is an underdog to Piotr Yan, who in their most recent fight, absolutely blanked him, just whooped his ass from Bell to Bell. It's going to be interesting to see if they can pass that test. But if they do, man, I'm all in. I'm all in on this fight. If Piotrion wins, would you want to see Piero Yon versus him? Hell yes.
Starting point is 01:02:21 That'd be fantastic. Those three guys are all. unreal. Those three guys in that mix are just unbelievable. And honestly, you get throw Sean O'Malley in the mix too, because I love how Sean O'Malley. Now, against Marab, not ideal, right?
Starting point is 01:02:37 Umar, we haven't seen. And against Yon, he has a win. I would love to see Jan versus Sean O'Malley as well. So like the top of that division, I'm very excited about. But yeah, throw Sean O'Malley in there, Umar, Jan, Marup, that is, that is, crem de la crem.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Rob Zulis still has a test that he has to pass a UFC 333 as an underdog against one of the best band and weights that we've ever seen
Starting point is 01:02:59 to try and get his belt back. This weekend Umarna Magamatov is taking on Songyaong in Shanghai. He's going into enemy territory to take on the hometown guy
Starting point is 01:03:08 in Songydong. Let's go to that main event and preview the card for this weekend. Shout out to the Shanghai Shards jersey. Shout to you got
Starting point is 01:03:16 Pretty sick. Jimmer for that on the back. You know, it's the little things. It's the touches. You know, why is he wearing a Is that a space jam jersey?
Starting point is 01:03:22 What's he? What's that jersey there? Nah, it's just Shanghai sharks, you know? Are they going through a tunnel? Yeah, put it out of the closet, you know? Where to get that shit, bro? Damn, he's really got that shit on. Umarra Mogamatov Song Yadong is the main event.
Starting point is 01:03:34 Now, when I see this fight get booked, yeah. The knee-jerk reaction. Okay. The knee-jerk reaction is this is like the formula for Song-Yadong. He is like a perennial, like, top, seven guy, you know, he's 16, 17, 17 fights deep into the UFC now, 12 and 4, 4 losses being 2.
Starting point is 01:03:58 4 is pretty good. Great. Yeah. Four losses two, Piotr Yon, Sean O'Malley, Corey Sandhagen. Oh, boy. And then Kyler Phillips back in 2021. It feels like he beats those guys that are like on the cusp of getting to the top five. And then when he ascends himself into that top five, that's where he.
Starting point is 01:04:20 falls short. Like he is a very good fighter, but I don't know if he ascends into that great fighter status. And this once again, Umarama Madh Madov, 20 and 1,
Starting point is 01:04:32 yes, he lost to Mara, broken hand, everything like that, has now bounced back to win two in a row, trying to make it three in a row and get back to that title.
Starting point is 01:04:40 It just feels like one of those matchups where it's just like, oh, all right, song got that tough test again and like he unfortunately fell short. And then they give him the number eight guy and, you know, he smokes him.
Starting point is 01:04:50 and then we're right back to where we are. Now, to play devil's advocate, yeah. He's approaching 20 fights in the UFC. He's fucking 28 years old. People forget he is 28 years old. And if he ever breaks through, say he does it this weekend,
Starting point is 01:05:08 he is undeniably in that title conversation. He beats him Martin and Magamatov this weekend. It's just like, yeah, all right. Song you dong at 135, like, we got to start talking about getting him a title. So it's always fascinating when we see these Song-and-dong fights, but like overall,
Starting point is 01:05:22 my knee-jerk reaction is, is it just like, song's going to try to take that next step? I feel the same way. There's a few things that I'd point to. Please. Not to necessarily play devil's advocate, but just to add additional context.
Starting point is 01:05:36 One, Song-and-dong has fought better competition than Umar has fought. You put Marab in a different category, right? There's no doubt that Umar has fought the best fighter of the two of them, and that's the Marab fight. But in the rest of his UFC resume,
Starting point is 01:05:52 Song Yadong has been fighting the top guys for significantly longer. Like Song Yadong has just been fighting killer after killer after killer for a long time, has fought tougher competition. Now, as you said, when he's fought that tougher competition, against the upper echelon, against those top five-ish guys, he has fallen short. But he is 28 years old. There is opportunity to grow.
Starting point is 01:06:14 My bigger concern, my bigger concern for Song Yadong, the power has not seemed to translate. The power has not seemed to translate at this higher level of opposition. And we see this all the time with fighters, right? When you are early in your career and you're facing guys who are, you are just better than.
Starting point is 01:06:34 On your worst night, you're better than them on their best night. You're knocking them out. You're styling on them. You're doing whatever you want to them. Once the competition ratchets up, once you're facing Corey Sandigan, Once you're facing Sean O'Malley, once you're facing Marab Davalishvili, once you're facing Umar Namaga Madov, it is a lot harder to knock those guys out.
Starting point is 01:06:58 And that's his best skill, right? He has very, very fast hands. He's powerful. But he hasn't been able to have that kind of one shot hitter, quitter, concussive power that it maybe looked like he had in the early part of his career. It was like, when this guy's hands let go, you're going to get hurt badly. I haven't seen that at this level. He really hasn't been able to put somebody away in that fashion. And I fear against the guy like Umar who just completely controls a fight from start to finish,
Starting point is 01:07:27 you need that type of power to even the playing field. And so I think Song is live. I think Song is a good fighter. I don't think he's ultimately a great fighter. I think Umar is a great fighter. I guess at 28, it's just like, can you take that next step into greatness? That's what makes these so fascinating to me. I don't think it's a step, though.
Starting point is 01:07:47 I think that's a great question, but I don't think that's what he's missing. He's missing that power that he had when he was fighting lesser opposition. He is not able to do what he was doing early in his career because the guys that he's facing are better. And unless he's landed in that flash chaos chaos type thing, I don't think, like, his game is very well-rounded.
Starting point is 01:08:09 He's good on the ground when he's offensive. he can handle himself defensively. He has really fast hands. He puts up a high enough volume. I don't think there's any holes in his game that I'm like, man, Song Yadong really just doesn't have it. He'll take that next step and be the guy. I don't think there is a next level
Starting point is 01:08:26 unless he can start carrying that type of concussive power that puts guys out. Yeah, it makes me want to cheer for song. It makes me want to cheer for that underdog. We have what they're at at Kalshya. I know Umar is going to be just like a monstrosity of a favorite. Every single fight he goes into, he is a huge very 84% right now.
Starting point is 01:08:45 I mean, that's like... That might be the straightest line I've ever seen on Calci. Very no way for it. That's like minus 650. Yeah, I mean, Omar, every single fight he goes into. Who did he fight? Figgy recently, and it was like a minus 1,600 going into that fight. He's always going to be a monster favorite, and it's just like...
Starting point is 01:09:01 I always enjoy cheering for the dog, but, man, in this case, it makes me want to cheer for the dong, you know? Song you don't. Without the sex. Nailed it below. And I'm not talking below Hassan, who we'll get into later on this card. And I'm not talking below Hussein, who you were doing some deep dive research on earlier. Yeah, it's just like, it makes me feel for the guy because I really like Song Ya Dong. And he, like, it feels like he could be this really cool character.
Starting point is 01:09:28 He's got the look, fucking eight-packed washboard. Like, you know, he's got a cool personality and everything like that. He does it. Like, when he wins, it's a pretty exciting style. And not for nothing. And we've talked about this many times. What he could do for the Chinese. market.
Starting point is 01:09:41 If you had a male Chinese champion, Zhang Geli is like a champion awaiting at Strawway, assuming she comes back, everybody's like ready to crown her champion and get her belt back at 115. A male Chinese champion, you potentially get Zhang on the female side, that would be massive. That would be fucking massive for the biggest market in the world.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Yeah, man. And a guy like Song Yidong who's got the, he's got to look and like he's been around enough now to where people start to know him, But man, it's just kind of like he's got to, I got to see him do it. It has to do it. I believe he's going to do it. It's just like you get the Corey fight, unfortunately loses. You know, you get the Yon fight, unfortunately loses.
Starting point is 01:10:22 You get the O'Malley fight, unfortunately loses. We just got to see him make that next step. Credit to him, though, this is already his third fight of the year. There's a potentially squeeze in four. You never know. Here's what I would ask. Did you see anything in the figurado fight that made you go like, he's ready? Like, is there any, was there even any?
Starting point is 01:10:41 sign that like made you think like it's time there are there no but there's also you know there's the washed allegations flying around about davis and figure radio i mean they're both their latest wins both is you still even have it i mean figure righto not take an easy fight yeah no definitely not um i just
Starting point is 01:10:57 song is a great fighter he reminds me of Corey he reminds me of Corey it's a great comp he's just so fucking good well-rounded any given night he can be as good as anybody in the world But when that level of competition ratches up, he can't get better than that guy. You know, it's Umar is that guy for me.
Starting point is 01:11:17 It's almost like, it's almost like if you were on like a turn dial, it's like song, Songyong is Corey Sandhagan if you just ticked it down once. Yeah. Like Corey Sanagan does exactly this, but instead of like fighting the top five guys in falling short, he's fighting the title. Yeah. You know, he gets the interim against period. You know, fights Marathosos really falls short, like never gets to see that gold wrap around his waist. Song is just like right there.
Starting point is 01:11:44 I still like I'm just like, I want to see it and like I'm holding out hope for it because he's only 28. If he were to do it, how does it get done? Flash C.O. Like how can he beat Umar? Maybe not even Flash Cato, but like, punish him on the field. Damaging Umar and Maghamedov. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:00 And obviously not getting taken down. I have not seen that from him. Yeah. Since the level ratcheted other. I mean, his finishes are Davison, who, as you said, the wash allegations are there. And like before the finish came, which was a submission,
Starting point is 01:12:14 not a knockout, it wasn't like he was like looking like amazing. Yeah. It looked fine. Was the Henry a doctor stop? And then the Henry was the freaking eye pokes. The crazy eye, the eye pokes,
Starting point is 01:12:24 yes. It's like I need to see, I need to see Song walk in there, control the center of the octagon, plant his feet, and just try to blast Umar's head off. The problem with that is when you do that, you're going to have your legs tangled up
Starting point is 01:12:36 and Umar's going to take you down and just smother you. It's a really bad style match. up, I think, for him. Actually, to your point on, like, the smothering thing, they were doing an interview earlier this week where, like, they were talking shit, and Umar was like, bro, I'm going to hold you down for 25 minutes. He sure is.
Starting point is 01:12:52 I'm not even threatening a finish, bro. I'm just going to hold you down, man. Yeah. Umar is unreal. Like, he is just, as I said, there's three guys at the top that I think are just a cut above everybody else. Like, there's a, there's just this line of demarcation. And that's Umar, Marra.
Starting point is 01:13:10 and Jan. I think those are the guys. Sean O'Malley on his best night can be in that mix because he has that variance that some of these other guys don't have and he already has a win over Piotr Yan. I think Marab and Umar
Starting point is 01:13:25 are always going to be very tough style matchups for Sean O'Malley. I think Jan is always a more favorable matchup. But those other three, those guys are fucking unbelievable. Like that is a crazy top three to have in that division. Yeah, it's an absolutely killer.
Starting point is 01:13:39 We'll find out that's probably going to be to you around like 8.30 a.m. I'm locked in. Eastern standard. Oh, fuck. Yeah, I'm locked in. Remind me the schedule?
Starting point is 01:13:49 Wake up at 2.30 alarm. 3 a.m. Coffee porn. Without the sex. Is, uh, how would you even spell that? P.O. You are. I can't think. We're on more computers.
Starting point is 01:14:06 Uh, yeah, I don't know what I was thinking earlier. Drawn? What other, what are there? What other words become past tense? Yeah, drawn, like you said. Like drawn is there. Yeah. Throne?
Starting point is 01:14:18 What did you say? Throne? Throne? Throne? Yeah. If you missed it earlier, I said, you know, coffee poured. For some reason, I did the past tense of poured as porn. So that was tough.
Starting point is 01:14:32 Tough way to start the show. You know? Big dicks to the body. Coffee porn. That doctor that people said you look like will probably be. involved in the coffee, right? Is he a barista as well as a doctor? I've heard he dabbles in coffee shops,
Starting point is 01:14:50 sometimes pizzerias. You know what I said? I didn't try to make it pass in as I was saying coffee porn. Porn? Porn coffee. Yes, that's what I'm saying. Porn coffee. Okay, porn coffee.
Starting point is 01:15:02 Porn coffee. You know? I've never had, but I'm not judging. This is so great. This is so good. great. So yeah, that main event is going to be fantastic. Let's go to the co-main event. Yan Jiaoan, taking on the Nisi Gomes. First time we have seen Jaunan back since the Virina Jindrabo fight, which was in...
Starting point is 01:15:23 Wow. April 2025. I was just about to say, was that April of last year? Yeah, it has been a hot minute. Obviously, we saw her get an attempt at the title at U.S.C. 300 against Shang Wei. He came up short than that one. And if she had beaten Veringa Jandrobe, you never know. She probably would have gotten the shot against McKenzie Darn. I think so. She has a win over. People forget that. People forget that. But she's taking on Denise's Gooms, who has a four-fight win streak.
Starting point is 01:15:46 Kind of cool to see Yanjohn-Nan and Song-I-Dong, back-to-back, co-main and main event. Oh, yeah, I love that. It's going to be a solid fight. Yan-Jon-Nan. She proved her toughness in that UFC 300 fight against Sean Wei. She comes to scrap 58% right now on Kalshi. Against a Brazilian who's running out right now,
Starting point is 01:16:04 four straight, I'm in. Yeah, and the Dern fight as well. Like, she's a scrapper. Like, that is the best. way to describe her. Like, there's definitely holes in the game. There's definitely areas where she could look to improve. But she gives everything into the fight. And she is coming to win and to finish in every opportunity. I think this is like a pretty close fight. Like I don't really have a strong lean here. I tend to lean toward Jan Shanan's like experience and her opportunities in like high
Starting point is 01:16:35 leverage situations, fighting the McKenzie Derns, fighting the Zhang Wei Li's, fighting Verna, Janjirobi, even though she came up short there. But, Denise Gomes has been on a hell of a run and is like a pretty good fighter or herself. I don't have a strong lean. I just think this is going to be a really good fight. 37 years old for you, John Ann. I'm with you.
Starting point is 01:16:54 I think it's going to be a good fight as well. By the way, on Friday, are you going to be tuning into Road to UFC? Main event? Who's your guess for the main event? Actually, I have a couple questions for the team here. So, Road to UFC, based on what I know of it,
Starting point is 01:17:11 which is last. time yeah they have done UFC fighters you're not and the ones with the most mm-hmm were shaming and who is the male fighter there was one male fighter was it wrong you who was the who is the male fighter that had like tons of road to UFC fights uh it wasn't wrong ju was it wrong ju was it wrong ju Who was it? I can't remember who it was, but yes, you're on the right track for guessing the main event. Can you give me a weight class?
Starting point is 01:17:54 155. Which doesn't, it's not going to help you. Fuck. Even in the slightest. Chinese 155, right? One name. Ritchie Lang? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:18:07 Tell me. No, because we're about to talk about Ritchie Lang. Tell me. Mahashite. Oh, Maheshetti. versus Darius Flowers Okay, nice Yeah
Starting point is 01:18:18 So tap into that The most random matchup of all time What was Darius Flowers Last fight in the U.S. Okay, but who was the last Road to U.S. Maheshete versus Darius Flowers Darius Flowers 1 and 3 in the UFC
Starting point is 01:18:30 Be Landovanada, people forget back in April Those people being Me So he came back to the UFC And then now is back on road to How did he decide Who is headlining these?
Starting point is 01:18:42 I am not entirely sure I'm not entirely sure I'm not entirely sure Okay it was Rang Jue last time Okay yeah Now is Rang Jue your guy Jordan
Starting point is 01:18:55 Yeah he actually just saw a picture of him and Dan Hooker And Rang Jue is looking jacked Always Guy doesn't have to get in shape Because he fucking stays in shape She Ming Submitted Pugetomar On day two
Starting point is 01:19:09 Pugetomar such a fucking goat That's why One way to describe her. On day one, Rangzhu knocked out Victor Martinez. Yes, Victor Martinez on Road to UFC. Darius Flowers. How about you come back to the UFC, you get a finish, and then they're like, get on the road, brother. The road to the UFC.
Starting point is 01:19:31 Wait, I just won on the UFC. Well, you're back on the road. So I was going to ask you, Jordan, how does it feel that, you know, Mahasheite is obviously on road to UFC, or Ricci Lang fighting on this card? Sumadairji on this card as well. A lot of one-nameers, no wrong Jew. No wrong Jew. Yeah, they've graduated him to being on a state side card
Starting point is 01:19:52 where it's a normal time instead of me having to wake up at 4 a. Yes, true. Porn coffee. Oh, he's fighting Hoffa Garcia at the fight night with Jean-Silva and Jose Delgado. Oh, no to USC. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, IUSC.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Yeah, fucking fight. Do we not discuss that? I feel like it brought that up the second that happened. You probably did. You probably did. We're not as tapped in on the wrong ju as you are. You just guessed Ehrichie Lang. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:23 He is fighting in the future battle the evening against Kai Saqora. Oh, yeah, he's not even a 55er. The Mongolian murder, Eriji Lang. Don't you forget it from Inner Mongolia China. He reps the Chinese flag, not the Mongolian flag. We'll get to a Mongolian fighter later on this card. Beefcake. Mongolian beefcake, you know what it is.
Starting point is 01:20:41 taking on Kai Saucora was going in for his second bat at 135 I like this I like this speed for which guy for Kaia Sakora okay he came in and they were like hey here's one of the flyweight goats
Starting point is 01:20:53 bro good luck didn't work out for him against Alessandro Pantosha and he tried again at 125 didn't work out I like this slow roll at 135 against Eriti Lang this is a winnable fight for him
Starting point is 01:21:03 this feels like a showcase fight for him I don't think he can lose to Ritchie Lang like I think he's going to style on him. No faith in Mugolian murder. No. The version, okay, the version of Kai that we saw against Smotherman, like he's going
Starting point is 01:21:19 to beat a Ritchie Lang. Like that, he's, he's filler level talent. Yeah, that would make sense. 79% for Kai Asakora. Another extremely straight line, like nobody is touching this to the degree that it will waver. Yeah, that makes sense. I expect to showcase for Kai.
Starting point is 01:21:37 next up we've got sumadherj taking on Alex Perez which I saw this and I was like man I feel like we've seen this fight before go back to Macau ends in a no contest in the second round when we were previewing that Macau card I was like I feel like we've seen this fight before I was referencing the match now
Starting point is 01:22:05 Sumadersi fight it's just kind of like like chaotic flyweight against Sumadherjee, all the rights will be wrong, all the wrongs will be righted. All the wrongs will be jute. We'll get the exciting conclusion of the Alex Perez versus Sumedarsi saga. There are not a lot of stakes, but it will be fun.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Like, as you said, Alex, like, Alex Perez is not nearly as fucking crazy and chaotic as Matchnell, but he is like a guy who's willing to take the fight wherever it goes. he'll grapple, he'll strike. He is good in the in-between stages. Sumar Darjeet is down for a scrap as well and has been in some of the more exciting fights. His career has been pretty exciting.
Starting point is 01:22:51 So, yes, I'm excited about this one as I'm sure I was the last time that they booked it. Tibetan Eagle. Shout out. Mongolian murders the Tibetan Eagle, and I do have to say, Breaking News here on the program. Oh, tell me.
Starting point is 01:23:08 I don't know if this is a case of Metaversea. is media. Oh. Because, you know, earlier this week, Ariel was talking about how they're just going with which one
Starting point is 01:23:16 your ranked tire in. Yeah. Or if this is a case of the tie, but on UFC.com is a flyway bout between number 11 Alex Perez and number 11 Sumidherjee. 11 versus 11.
Starting point is 01:23:28 Mm-hmm. Someone's 11 has to go. In which ranking is that? Do we not know? Let's find out. Let's find out. But yeah, this is the first, I really hope it's meta versus meta.
Starting point is 01:23:40 Sumadherji is 13 in the meta and no ranking for Alex Perez and I wouldn't stress it I'm sure before Saturday they'll clear this all up between the meta and media rankings That's not on the media or the meta
Starting point is 01:23:57 Media is Alex Perez 11 Sumer does not on there No Sumedairji meta is Sumedairj 13 No So Ariel's right Right They're using the
Starting point is 01:24:10 two rankings. Oh no, because on the meta, Sumadiris is 13. So what the fuck is this? It feels like a typo. This feels like a typo. This feels like Alex Perez 11 and there was supposed to be no ranking next to Summary. Yeah. Get it fixed. Get it fixed. Boys get it together.
Starting point is 01:24:27 Levi Rodriguez taking on C. Lou? Come on, man. Yeah, tell me. Don't hold back now. No, no. You tell me. You were champing at the bit at lunch, man. You were like, I can't wait to talk about the Rodriguez-Cilu fight. Three and one, Shilu versus...
Starting point is 01:24:43 Wait, is it C or she? Levi Rodriguez. I'm just trying multiple names just so we can always clip the one where I said it off. We go from the Mongolian murderer, okay? Yeah. To the Tibetan eagle. Yeah. All right?
Starting point is 01:24:58 To the Oriental Dragon. Oh, shit. Wait. Oh, murderer is not an animal. But eagle, dragon, like we're... Yeah, but it's still location or, you know. district Yeah, yeah, the part of...
Starting point is 01:25:12 Some sort of, yeah, respect it. I respect it. Versus the baby monster. Yeah. It's gonna be good. Bilal Hassan, who we just saw two weeks ago on Dana-Wy contender series, unbelievable knockout in 45 seconds,
Starting point is 01:25:29 taking on Nilsson Rojas. We go from... There it is. This is yours? This is my guy. We go from the Mongolian murderer. Oh, here we go. By the way, just to keep you refresh,
Starting point is 01:25:42 Mongolian murder is... Jesus Christ. I don't even remember. A Rishi Lank? Okay. The Tibetan Eagle is... I don't know. Sumadarji.
Starting point is 01:25:56 Sumadarji, okay. The Oriental dragon. Silu... To the... Oh, the Indo-Ninja. Bala al-Han. Now you... Okay, it was a Ritchie Lang.
Starting point is 01:26:10 It was a Ritchie Lang. Who is? The Mongolia murder. Yeah. It was... Oh, fuck. I've already played the Tibetan eagle, Sumadharji.
Starting point is 01:26:19 Sumadharji was the Tibetan eagle. Yeah. The Oriental Dragon Shilu, and now the Indo ninja for Balal Hassan. 9 and 0, it feels like the UFC's pretty excited about him,
Starting point is 01:26:30 immediately putting him on a card. We saw it last week with Anthony Wend. The dude has like concussive power, getting another undefeated fighter in Nilsson Rojas, both of them 9 and 0. This is just a great moment for someone to come out of this
Starting point is 01:26:42 as a potential prospect. And he was on that stream, right? This is the guy you guys were all excited about because he was on the watch. We weren't excited because he was on the watch party, but the fact that, like, I mean, he has hundreds. No, but it was like alongside like Kayla Harrison,
Starting point is 01:26:58 like Kela Harrison and Alexander Volcanovsky. Clearly the UFC is trying to get behind this guy. He's got hundreds of thousands of followers on social media. He's got that crazy knockout power. He has a bit of a personality. A lot of the personality tied up with Michael Jackson. You know about this? No, I'm not aware of this.
Starting point is 01:27:14 Michael Jackson is one of his idols. Oh, wow. Wow, that's a glove. Signing the posters in the Michael Jackson shirt with the Michael Jackson glove, and he feels like it is serendipitous, that it is very special that he's going to be fighting on Michael Jackson's birthday, August 29th. Hitting the, you know, feels like you're hitting the, he-hoo! That feels like that's what that is. It is, but like, is his only personality trait?
Starting point is 01:27:42 He moon walked after the knockout. A lot of his posts are Michael Jackson related. I feel like you throw in some of the Michael Jackson flair. Like it's just like, oh, he hit the moonwalk when he knocked him out. I like that. But like I don't think we need it. He was also doing interviews and like held the mic with the glove hand. Feels like there's too much MJ going on.
Starting point is 01:28:05 What do we know about him other than the MJ? Well, I thought you were asking what we know about Michael Jackson. No, no, we know a lot about it. For a whole other podcast. What I'm seeing is like, is the reason people like him because of this Michael Jackson stuff? No, no, no, no, just because he's nasty. If you watch him fight, you're, you know, I highly recognize. I saw the knockout.
Starting point is 01:28:22 Like I... Yeah, of course, you saw the highlight. I saw the highlight. I was not why... You see the 45 seconds that led up to it. No. He's undefeated. He was a champ at CFFC.
Starting point is 01:28:29 He's 9 and 0. He's got 7-KOs to his record. And he's got a personality. Yeah, he's a big favorite. Massive favorite. Rightfully so. Is he like all Michael Gilles? Like, is he going to win and, like, another moonwalk?
Starting point is 01:28:44 I would guarantee you if he finished. issues Nelson Rojas, he will hit something Michael Jackson related. The lean? You know what I'm talking about? That would be sick, yeah. Of course I know what he's fucking talking about. It's Michael Jackson. He's like one of the most famous fucking...
Starting point is 01:28:56 I wish he just... He gets some good song. He gets an interview. All his answers have to just be like Michael Jackson lyrics. Like, find a way to squeeze them into the... To his quotes. Does he say like, Shama? Like, does he like...
Starting point is 01:29:08 What did you say? Shammal. What are you going to do in your fight against Nilson Rojas? Just beat him. I feel like I don't want to rip on it too much because then he's going to like, it's going to come out that like he like shared a special bond with his grandma over.
Starting point is 01:29:29 Right, like we're like, yeah, the Michael Jackson thing's off. Not a lot. Like, oh, it's like means a lot to me. No, it definitely means a lot to him. It's his idol. He loves Michael Jackson. Bit problematic. Nah, nah, nah, nah, come up.
Starting point is 01:29:44 All right. We'll find out on Saturday whether or not he can get his hand raised. Glove on the hand when he gets his hand. Andres. Fucking out, man. It might. It might.
Starting point is 01:29:52 But he's a potential star at 125, which... Did you see any clips from the watch party? No. Which... I'm wondering, did he do any, like, MJ shit? Like, was he like... Michael Jordan? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:05 The tongue out. The dung. And I did just want to clarify, because Rick does not know ball when it comes to Balala Hassan. I don't. Do we have the tapology profile that I dropped into BITB of what Rick... Who Rick thought Balah Hassan was? was.
Starting point is 01:30:20 No, no, no, no. There it is. Rick said, this is this is Balala San without a beard when we had the picture of him with the glove? Wait, is that? No, no, no. This is not the guy. It's another guy. How many Balasan's on there?
Starting point is 01:30:34 I'm going to send you. I'm going to send you the link. It's not that guy, actually. Man, shout out to Blahasana. Either way. A star potential at 125, a weight class that me and you are already very, very fun. In my defense. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:53 There's another guy who has his name on Instagram as Balal Hassan even though the handle name is actually Balal Hussein. But it says Balal Hussein. Bilal Hassan.
Starting point is 01:31:08 Double S though, that's the key. He's a double S, not a single S, like R. Balala Hasan. I do feel better that no one in the chat is just like, you guys are fucking idiots. He does this for his grandma. So like... Okay.
Starting point is 01:31:19 It makes me feel better. Some people said, yeah, there he is. Bilal Hussein. But then you see. This is what you thought it was. How many people fight? How many people fight named Balal Hassan? There's a lot of Balal Hassan.
Starting point is 01:31:31 Fucking crazy. Yeah, people said, what'd they say? That fight was a thriller. Oh, boy. I love it. Blal Hassan is embracing his inner Michael Jackson. CFFFC-Val-Han discusses Michael Jackson's influence on his moonwalk celebration. Okay, so what's the influence, though?
Starting point is 01:31:49 influence as his career develops. Yeah, we'll have to see. He's just said that he really liked him as a young kid and apparently he walked out to from this 2024 article. He walked out to Billy Jean at least three times and all he said is, all right, this is fucking awesome.
Starting point is 01:32:07 Yeah. All right, so the guy's a big the guy's a big Michael Jackson fan. We'll see what he's got in the octagon on Saturday in Shanghai. Andre Lima, taking on our guy. Mongolia's up. Nams Ray Bat Bayar. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:23 Another potential banger at 125. Nams Ray Bopier. Ten wins. Count them. Ten wins. Ten finishes. Andre Lema, obviously, we know him much better than we know Nams Re.
Starting point is 01:32:35 Nams re making his debut representing Mongolia. Andre Lima coming off the loss to Kevin Borjas. Big dog for Nams Ray. We just got to trust. Big dogs bark loud in the fourth quarter, you know? You damn right. You damn right.
Starting point is 01:32:49 it looks like it's getting late. It looks like it's the fourth quarter over in Mongolia. Let's go, Nams, Ray. Yeah, we're a, we are a biased podcast. We'll have to just come out and say that. Bias to the beef, the Mongolian beef. At M.B.? Shout out to Nams Ray Bapyer.
Starting point is 01:33:06 Ray Siruria taking on the aforementioned Kevin Borhaus, coming off a win over Andre Lima. Your guy, Ray Saruya. I'm a fan. I like what he was able to do outside of the Josh fan fight, where it looked like, you know, he was trying desperately for those takedowns and wasn't able to get them
Starting point is 01:33:22 but that is one that he hasn't been super active since then that is one that has aged pretty fucking well when you consider what Josh Van has been able to do and against even like a grappler in his most recent fight so yeah I like Ray Saruya I think he's very talented Long Jiao taking on Francesco Nuzi
Starting point is 01:33:41 the newest Italian export into the UFC Long Jiao Long Jiao he's back Jiao Long. Is it Long Jow or Jow Long? Jow long bow. It's a little teased later in the show. Jack Jenkins versus Sean Woodson,
Starting point is 01:33:56 love this match. We're not going to talk about how last time out he kicked fucking Cody Garvin in the pills 15 times. We're just going to move on? Yeah, he did. He did it. We're not going to talk about how he was dominating Cody Garbrand. He was up to O on the cards,
Starting point is 01:34:13 and he just kicked Cody Garvin in the pills. That opens us up to having to break down fucking franchise. Newsy. Oh, yeah, you're right. You're right. Yeah, he did bang Cody Garbrand in the nuts 18 times
Starting point is 01:34:24 until Cody fucking puked all over the octagon and then got two points taken. He was winning. And he lost the fight. Yeah, we do remember that. So yeah, shout out to Long Zhao. Jesus Christ, Long Joe.
Starting point is 01:34:35 Shout to Long Jow. Speaking of kicking, Jack Jenkins, taking on Sean Woodson. Six-two versus 5-7. Love that matchmaking. Longest legs in the division versus a guy known
Starting point is 01:34:45 for chopping down trees. So we'll see if Sean Watson can battle through it. It's going to be a fun fight. Lexer Lunds Liu, taking on Hector Santiago, Jing Nanjong taking on Julia Palastria, and then Meng Ding taking on Cam Nelson. Mang Ding, 31 with 45 professional fights,
Starting point is 01:35:07 taking on Cam Nelson, who has eight. Yeah, that's a little bit weird, huh? A lot of professional fights from Mengding. Don't sleep. Don't sleep. That's the UFC. UFC Shanghai. Should be a very fun. when I respond to
Starting point is 01:35:20 you know people being like dude you're really gonna get up at 3 a.m you're crazy I say hit the hit the song drop Frank song hit the song you dong drop yep it's right right here
Starting point is 01:35:34 Frank the song you dong drop the old song you dong drop everybody knows it everybody knows that song you don't fuck the man do we get another I don't give fuck on uh on Saturday after beating the moon of life. No.
Starting point is 01:35:58 I take it whatever you. Yes. So good. So good. Shout out to Songadong. Seven minute drop. That's it.com. Mike Perry.
Starting point is 01:36:11 Speaking of That's It.com. Mike Perry taking on Dylan Danis in Orlando. Explain the segue. What do you mean speaking of That's It.com? This fight is That's It.com. Mike Perry, massive favorite against Dylan Danis in a NMA bout. Dual Arena.
Starting point is 01:36:27 at the Kia Center down in Orlando. I have to tune in. Even if it's on pay-per-view, even if it's on Dool Arena TV, I'll be tapped. I mean, it's fun. Come on, dude. Their face-to-face,
Starting point is 01:36:41 it started slow when I was like, oh, man, these guys like each other. I don't think they're going to get into it. And then they just started flowing and talking. It's Mike Perry fighting, and Dylan Dennis just, you know, people, I think people underrate Dylan Dennis,
Starting point is 01:36:57 because they don't like Dylan Dennis. As an MMA fighter, he's pretty good. Now, I said that last time everybody was like, oh, he only fuck cans. It doesn't, like, we can only look at what we have in front of us.
Starting point is 01:37:09 He squashed the cans that he was supposed to squash. Dylan Dennis can do MMA. I mean, I'm much more interested in this than any of the funky, like, Dylan Dennis wants to box people shit. Like, I have no interest in that. The sport that interests me the most for Dylan Dennis
Starting point is 01:37:23 is MMA. PJJ or MMA, I'll watch Dylan all this. No problem. And Mike, obviously. I'm in because, yeah, even if they act like they like each other come Saturday night. Oh, Mike's going to try and kill him. I was just saying, Mike Perry ain't going to like him.
Starting point is 01:37:37 Mike Perry is going to try to kill him. It'll be a good one. Do we know how much that pay-per-view is? Let's find out. Dual arena. TV. Mike Perry, 29-99. Maybe bring that down 20 bucks.
Starting point is 01:37:50 I was thinking like $9.99. $9.99's quick swipe. Quick swipe of the card. It's like, yeah, I'm tapped. 30, but we will lock in 30 bones No, we're there Stream it
Starting point is 01:38:02 That's still up and running crap I'm there I'm there What's running Shout out to our boys Mike and Dylan I'm watching
Starting point is 01:38:09 That's fucking We support We support BKFC going down at Fenway Crazy I thought about taking the train up I thought about taking the train up
Starting point is 01:38:16 BKFC The 145 pound belt Between Kai Stewart and Harry Gigliotti Is it Gigliotti or Gigliotti? I thought last time I said Gigliotti but maybe I'm wrong.
Starting point is 01:38:26 Well, the jig is up because it's Gigliotti. All right, fine. Stewart, that's very good. Look at that. He's got the whole King's outfit on. The star here is Fenway. 100%. They're doing this at fucking Fenway, man.
Starting point is 01:38:40 Yep. One of the most iconic stadiums in all of America. This guy on the right looks like a little bit like a stretched out Oscar Willis. He looks like if you took Oscar and like... Looks like they stretched out Oscar Willis. Oh, wait, that's actually his nickname. Harry the stretched out Oscar Willicks Gigliotti.
Starting point is 01:38:58 No, wait, which Who's the gun in the right? Is that Gigliotti in the right? Yes, yes, yes. Guy Stewart's the champ, bro. Come on, man. You serious? Yeah, I mean, I'm locked up for that.
Starting point is 01:39:09 Again. BKFC Fenway Park is absolutely fucking insane. If you're in the area, go. I can't recommend to people enough. If you're in the area, go, and the fact they're doing it at Fenway, I can't wait to see what the product looks like.
Starting point is 01:39:21 David Feldman said it's going to be on home play. I saw like a rendering or even a real part. I forget. I saw something circulating on social earlier today. Moses Satama. Let's go over to the world of boxing. Yes. Future heavyweight champion.
Starting point is 01:39:34 If he gets it done on Saturday, fighting for the vacant IBF heavyweight title against Philip Hergevik. Reminder. Bro, Hergivik's only got one loss to his name against Daniel Dubois. Like that is, that's nothing to stick your nose up at. This is a real test for Moses Satama. If he's able to win, he will become the second youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history behind Mike Tyson and just ahead of Floyd Patterson. He turns 22 in December.
Starting point is 01:40:01 And like, yeah, here's the list right here. Mike Tyson did it at 20 years old, four months, 23 days. Floyd Patterson at 21 years, 10 months, 26 days. Atama will squeeze in at like 21 and like eight months, somewhere around there. So he'd be just ahead of Floyd Patterson, obviously, if he's able to get that IBF belt on Saturday. Go check out the latest article on him on Oncrown.com right now. It's a fascinating read. Is Moses the Tomer really the next Mike Tyson? Can he actually replicate that? He'll have, you know, English backing, already sponsored by Nike. He's getting massive knockouts early in fights, massive favorites against Turgovic. There's real potential here. And if he wins this fight, the world is his oyster. At that point,
Starting point is 01:40:52 Daniel Dubois, Ajikabayel, there are names to be put in front of them that will be serious tests. I think Hergevich is a serious test. I think he's now entered the level where it's like, nah, man,
Starting point is 01:41:04 like, there's no bad guys from here on now. This ain't like, what I'm saying is this weekend starts, in my opinion, if he wins, the run of like, it ain't like,
Starting point is 01:41:15 if you don't get this guy out in the first round, you're failing. Even against Franklin, like, he didn't get him out in the first round, but it was pretty clear
Starting point is 01:41:22 from start. to finish like when is he going to knock him out for me moses atama fights are now just like can he i don't think i have i can't foresee a world where moses loses i think if moses was given the title opportunity at an age that was younger than tyson he would have won it i i don't i have there's no doubt in my mind that if he was able to secure that title shot when he was 20 years old he would have been champion at 20 years old i don't i don't i don't think that there's no doubt in my mind that a heavyweight alive and I said this two fights ago I don't think there's a heavyweight alive that I'm
Starting point is 01:41:56 picking over him whether it be Ussick whether it be Jaws. I was going to say even Usoc you're picking Atama. Man I need to see him get tested before I go that far. The speed, the power He's nasty. He is and these guys are the heavyweight division historically and classically these guys get older right like they carry the power
Starting point is 01:42:12 older and they're able to kind of like stay and hang around because the speed is not as big a factor as some of the lighter weight classes right when Usik naturally was getting older you go up from cruiserweight to heavyweight all of a sudden the guys who are coming at you fast
Starting point is 01:42:27 are not as fast. Guys like Tyson Fury are plotting forward with a little bit of a slower approach. More power, but a little bit of a slower approach. You get older, all of a sudden cruiser weight looks a little harder than if you go up to heavyweight. Moses Atama could just feast on these guys. He is too young, too fast, too hungry. I really, including Usik, I don't know that I'm
Starting point is 01:42:45 picking anybody over Moses Atama, man. Can't wait to watch him on Saturday. It's going to be right here in the mid-afternoon. Just a full slate of combat sports. We also got Michaela Miller versus Chantel Cameron. A super welterweight title fight going down in Birmingham on this MVP card. Sky Sports, big opportunity for both. It's going to be a great fight.
Starting point is 01:43:07 I'm looking forward to it and everything. I love that Michaela Maylor is banging that drum for a Clarissa Shields fight afterward. Yeah. I think that would be a lot of fun, even though they know each other, respect each other, like I don't, I imagine that they'd be able to build up the fight and the talk would get there. But Clarissa Shields needs, Clarissa Shields needs somebody who. Oh, that cramp, baby. Let's get you some water.
Starting point is 01:43:33 Let's get some water. Come on, what did you do? You work out this morning? You're taking the creatine? What's going on here? I'm so dehydrated. Little protein? What's going on it?
Starting point is 01:43:41 Cram. A stand on. To talk into the mic. Yeah, stand on that thing, man. Mid-sentence cramp. Man, I don't get him like midday. If I ever get them. I'm cramping.
Starting point is 01:43:52 Calf? No, this is all in the thigh. In the hamstring. Wow. All in the hamstring. A big calf one. Yeah, I get calf cramps bad. Right now I'm getting them in my hamstrings.
Starting point is 01:44:04 I don't know why. Did you work out this morning? What's going on? It's the position of the chair. Wow. Getting old here on the boys in the back. Yeah, talk a little bit. I got to stretch this bad boy out.
Starting point is 01:44:15 Thanks, Frank. Yeah, man, I was just saying, closer shields needs an opponent that we know her now. that's my takeaway from this week. Colise Shields needs to fight someone that I don't see the announcement and I go, who? Who is that? So, hopefully that person can be either Michaela Mayer or Chantelle Cameron.
Starting point is 01:44:33 Well, he stretches out. That's the weekend in combat sports. Let's get to the prediction pals. We need to bounce back. What it looked like last week? What it looked like last week? Aye. Mason Jones.
Starting point is 01:44:43 Lay on Douglas too. But that minus 104, Chris Taco Padilla, gets it done. Rainier of the Ritter, getting it done. the bottom boys. The bottom boys. Is that what we're sticking with, Frank? Bottom boys? You can take that.
Starting point is 01:44:55 We got to workshop that a little bit. We're still in the green, but now we're under 500. We've got to bounce back this week. I already got Pizzi's pick. He's going with Umar, Nirmagamadov. I will actually go with the man we were just talking about the future heavyweight champion, in my opinion, Moses Atama. Nice. Frank, you do you got, brother?
Starting point is 01:45:11 Kai Asakura. Oh, obviously. Going against the Mongolian murder. Going against Ritchie Lang, eh? Yeah. Okay. me Ray Seruia. I'm telling you, this guy fucking loves Raceria. Every time he fights,
Starting point is 01:45:23 he's like, prediction pals, race arroia. Every time. He's not even fighting this weekend. He's like, yeah, but... Even when he's not funny, he's like, yeah, racerua. In the gym, I'll take racerua. What are the odds on that? The sex. Four-legged? Four-legged combo. Minus 110! Jesus Christ!
Starting point is 01:45:41 We better get back on the board. Is that our first minus money parlay? God, bless. We got to get it together. I went from taking a minus 104 as an individual last week to us being minus 110 as a parlor. Nasty work. Nasty work. Hopefully we see that baby go green though on Saturday all throughout the day.
Starting point is 01:46:05 UFC Shanghai this weekend, we already mentioned it in honor of that. I dumped Frank. I grabbed Rick. We went out to Queens flushing the heart of it all to try authentic. Shanghai-kise cuisine. Not just traditional Chinese. Shanghai-nees. That's how much we pinpointed here on Fight Feast.
Starting point is 01:46:28 Please sit back, relax, enjoy. It is UFC's Shanghai Fight Weeks. So in honor of the promotions return to the Magic City. We are here in the middle of it all. The hustle and bustling queens and you can't come to Queens without bringing in the prodigal son. Mr. New York, Rick.
Starting point is 01:46:46 We're here to tour Shanghaiese food. Yes. And I want to just say on record, your quote, not mine, fuck Chinatown. Why here better than anywhere else? Fuck Chinatown. This is the authentic Asian experience in New York City. Flushing Queens. Look at this. Look at the slender. Take it all in. Take it in. Does not get better than this. If you want Asian food, this is where you come. And today we're going to have a Shanghai-Knees experience. Let's change my mind on Queens' Fight Feast episode. I don't know. Shanghai-nees food.
Starting point is 01:47:16 What you don't know about the Jimmer-Fredet Shanghai Sharks? You don't know. That's what you know. You don't know shit. Oh, here we go. Stop number one, Nanjiang Xiaolong Bao. A staple here in Flushing. All right, we got the mango rosemary iced tea. Get a nice jab going here, sharp straw. That's all right.
Starting point is 01:47:54 I've just learned. I mean, we're already learning. We're off and running and we're already learning. You flip it. Here we go. Mmm. Mmm, it's chunky. Oh, but like in a good way. Oh, it's like legitimate chunks of mango in the bottom. I've never had this before.
Starting point is 01:48:13 Is it actually fruit or is there jelly in it? What is it, what do we get? This feels like there's pieces of fruit in there. Yeah. Camera guy Nick is the one that got me to try that. It's fucking fantastic. The first time she's ever been right about something in her entire life. Sing Tao, a Chinese Pilsner ale, the most popular beer in, uh, in all of China.
Starting point is 01:48:33 Have this before or no? I haven't. Oh, have you? Yeah, oh yeah. This is a common one. Sing Tao. It's a very standard pilsner, yeah. It's like a standard prisoner, but it's got Chinese script on.
Starting point is 01:48:44 It makes it out. All right, fight feast tradition, the greatest struggle on planet Earth against near mortal New York rig, Zing Tao Chug Race. Cheers, brother. We'll have to review the tape back. I think I might have edged that one out. Down the hatch, Sing Tao.
Starting point is 01:49:29 As refreshing as it gets. We'll take another two over here, thank you. This is a tried and true staple around my house. I mean, I've been getting scalyam pancakes since Trader Joe started offering them up in the freezer aisle. These obviously better. Oyster sauce, umami, dunk, crispy, flavorful. Camera guy Nick says it's a lot of oyster sauce. She doesn't fucking know me, all right?
Starting point is 01:49:53 She doesn't know how I play with the oyster sauce. A lot of oyster sauce. There is no amount of scallion pancake that you can put in front of me that I won't put down. If you just continue to put it in front of me, I will continue to house this. It's fried just like deliciousness. Like, it's like a horse to hay. You keep putting hay in front of a horse. He'll keep beating it.
Starting point is 01:50:15 You keep scalying pancakes loaded in front of me. I'll keep beating. You guys actually have to remove these from being in front of me. Take them the fuck away from me. I'll keep getting. They're so fucking good. All right, we got rice cakes. Rice cakes here. Now, what is this? What are we eating?
Starting point is 01:50:29 It looks like medallions of pasta. Yeah, this is the... staple Shanghai's dish. It's like a rice dough covered in a sweet sauce, a brown sauce, shredded carrots, shredded beef, onion or some kind of like garnish. I didn't see some mushrooms in here? There's definitely mushrooms. It's fantastic. This is my favorite dish. Cabbage as well. Okay, favorite cabbage. That's what it is. Favorite Shanghaiese dish? My farm. Alright, let's give it a go, man. Choose to that. Choose to Shanghai needs food, Song Yerong.
Starting point is 01:51:04 Yeah. Great like chewy consistency. This is amazing. Beef is amazing. By the way, we never addressed that. I mean, first time on Vice Beach. Y'all see me with the sticks? Come nice with them. No forks over here.
Starting point is 01:51:16 No, no, no, no. The rice cakes are incredible. I'm a big texture guy. The chewy consistency is what always hits for me. And the sauce makes it so much better with the beef and everything too. Also, the fact that the beef is shredded so you don't have to like go in, gnash at it and like pull it apart, it's just there for you. It's all one good bite.
Starting point is 01:51:33 We got the rainbow pack. We got the signature chicken, scallot. What is Gord Lufa? I have no idea. Sounds like something you've used in the shower and then black truffle. Wow. Okay, first let's unveil this here.
Starting point is 01:51:43 Is it like the prettiest carrying case for food? Like these show up and you just know you're about these. They're the best, the bamboo. There's two options here, tongs. Yep. And what you're gonna wanna do is you wanna grab up here near the top because you don't wanna break the soup. There is liquid soup in here.
Starting point is 01:51:59 And another thing is when you're pulling them up, you have to be delicate and slow. Because if you rip it up, This soup is gonna stick and it's just gonna fall out of the bottom. Okay. So you have two options this or if you're nice if you're actually as nice with the top sticks as you say you are You're gonna grab up here and try and pull what loves a challenge so You grab one no breakage there you put on here now the way I do it or I have been taught is you either nibble here Or you can poke a hole here, right? You want to start getting a little bit coming out there
Starting point is 01:52:31 lift maneuver and you can also kind of like get the soup going on the spoon have a little bit of soup have a little more and then you can house the rest of the dumpling afterwards my mouth is watering I can't wait I can't the soup is fantastic you can kind of put this off to the side get a little bit of soup there okay you got enough out of it that it's not going to like explode in your mouth this is crab meat crab meat and pork you know the kid loves the challenge I said I'm nice with the sticks Delicate, slow. I fucked it.
Starting point is 01:53:04 I fucked it. I fucked it, everyone. It blew up on me. It blew up on me. I fucked. All right. Now we're poe. Start dumping some of that soup out right under that.
Starting point is 01:53:12 Look at that. Look at that. Here we go. Would a soup bigger hold? Do I need a bigger hole? Location is important. You poked a little too high up. You want to poke closer to the bottom.
Starting point is 01:53:20 All right. We're learning. We're learning. I'm telling you try the nibble technique. Yeah, try a little nibble. I have to say, respect to Rick. After watching that, I was like, this is easy. It ain't that easy.
Starting point is 01:53:31 God, I'm just brib. Yeah. They're so good. They're so good. They're so good. I mean, they're so good. The dough, the soup, they grab meat, the pork. Also right now, a very important thing, we're getting them at a perfect temperature, where they're not scalding hot, but they're really warm.
Starting point is 01:53:48 The explosion of warm soup in my mouth, there's nothing better. Alright, I'm going to try this again. Yeah. I'm thinking about switching up to the tongs. I haven't given up yet. With the sticks, I haven't given into the tongs yet. the gentleness of it is so key oh no pop no pop we're over we're over to the spoon clean we're over to the spoon clean here we go let's go lower yeah go a little lower yeah oh yeah oh yeah
Starting point is 01:54:14 what is it i have no idea what it is though guys i'm googling okay gourd lupa almost looks like okra it's a tropical vine from the gourd family after trying it the texture was a little bit oak grass. Oh, hi. With, and it looks like there's shrimp and pork in there as well. I'm on a soup dumpling Sing Tao hi. So, so far, how do we feel about the rice cakes and the soup dumplings? Those are my two go-toes. Rice cakes, phenomenal. I could put down two bamboo casks, whatever we want to call these. Looks, they're so fucking pretty, like a work of heart. It's incredible. Tour guide, Rick. We just left Nanshang. Just left for the beautiful, beautiful, big establishment, right? Incredible.
Starting point is 01:55:01 Unbelievable, clean, beautiful, ready to serve people. factory. Near feet away. You can see it from here, the restaurant. An empire of Doula. 200 feet away. Yeah. This was the original location. This right here. This restaurant right here and this restaurant right here. They had these two combined, but this small space was the beginnings of that empire there. And this is where you used to come. I used to come to this. How fitting were at Kung Fu tea to get some uh bubble tea boba. In honor the Kung Fu kid, Song Yidong. Shout out. I could be wrong. This, this could potentially
Starting point is 01:55:37 be my first bova here we go i tried to get the stab at the last spot didn't work this is the proper stab here we go oh wow that's quality we got the we got the video of it of it shaking up back there it's like a machine that shakes it up and then like i got just a water i was like you got water bottles water she's like no no no no we don't do that here fills the cup up ice and then puts it in this contraption in it you and it puts the cover on it she's like you want a bag for all those drinks i was like a bag like it's gonna spill i can't help but think about the video of the guy in the car trying bubble for the first and where he's like eliminate that from your mind and I'm worried that's what's gonna happen if it's my god open mug okay here we go love honey do it's my
Starting point is 01:56:14 favorite fucking flavor owner I absolutely love honey do it mm hmm it's honey do as fuck that's fantastic you get the tarot slush you see the yellow like this is the pudding so you might want to like go like here's the key you want to go like mid level so you get some of each but you get the pudding and the tapioca. This tarot is like a sweet, a sweet, super Chinese flavor. It's delicious. This is like as dessert as it gets. Yeah. We're talking pudding, slushy, wow, this is like authentic. Here we go. A couple things there. Really got to suck. Pudding is crazy. I can't believe that's what you go with. That's a wild texture.
Starting point is 01:56:57 Like the pudding is like frozen out. The taro is unbelievable. Yeah. I regret not getting the tarot. It reminds me a little bit of like Ube. It's in that family. It should have. on the honeydew. That tarot is fucking phenomenal. Yeah. Regret on not getting to tarot. Cheers to Kung Fu Tea. No relation to the Kung Fu Kid Sung Yidong, but take two now that I kind of know what I'm working with here, I went tarot slush small, 30% sugar, Oreo pieces. Oreo pieces. That's what they recommended with it. Mmm. Yeah. Now we're cooking with gas. This is... This is a milkshake. Let's know if Sandra butts about it, this is a milkshake. This is so fucking good.
Starting point is 01:57:37 Grand game? Yeah. Just a store full of claw machines, and it looks like you win the same prize? Oh, she's opening the door up. What does that mean? All right, we've won ourselves a prize, huh? Hello Kitty?
Starting point is 01:57:49 Pirates, happy borrowers. All right, here we go, hello kitty's coming home with us. Got the head. Oh, the claw is a little loose. Yeah. Yeah, let me know. You're in good position on that axis. All right, let's give it a shot.
Starting point is 01:58:09 I don't know if he can go far enough back. No, no, can't go far enough back. Come on, maybe. No, no, no, no, I pushed it, pushed it. Come up, come on. We fucking did it. Hard work! Totally fatal!
Starting point is 01:58:32 All right, we got the Shay Lee. Beautiful restaurant in there. They wouldn't let us eat in there because of the way New York Rick's dress. They wanted me to eat in there. Shanghai Sharks diehard fans. Authentic Shanghai cuisine. So we're going to do this in classic Queens Fest. and just rip it on the street.
Starting point is 01:58:55 A Queen's Tale. Oh. Oh, you know what? Main Street, this is like the hub. Like this is the epicenter of... This is your go. This is what you say when you say Queens is the best neighborhood in all of New York City.
Starting point is 01:59:11 Flushing in particular, this is it. This is it right here. Okay. You know you're in the spot when everything is also in Chinese. Yeah. TD Bank, Chinese. Chase Bang is also Chinese. Family care drugs.
Starting point is 01:59:23 Little too messy to eat on the street. So where are we now? We are at New York Food Court. This is a little more of a organic kind of experience. Organic? Yeah, you know, like a little more grassroots, you know, like a little more close to the ground. I don't know if anything in here is organic. Roasted pork belly in a sweet and sour sauce with whale legs in here as well. It's very soft. It's kind of hard to grab with the sticks. Get in there, Rick. Come on a whole bite. All right, Cheers to it. Mm.
Starting point is 01:59:52 Mm-hmm. Mm. That is fatty. Wow. Okay. The meat is really flavorful. It's a lot of fat. The fat just melts.
Starting point is 02:00:01 Then you get that pork flavor. I'm nervous about the quail eggs. You say they're nothing. I mean, it's just an egg. You're going in or what? When it's getting high, I was expected just an egg. Yeah, it's just an egg. They always do these exotic animals and they build it up,
Starting point is 02:00:18 and then people are like, oh my god, and it's just an egg. One of their most popular dishes I get wide. It's very good. Next up, we got the bow ones. Different to what we had earlier, these are what, fried? No, those are definitely boiled. Crispy on the bottom, no soup in this thing.
Starting point is 02:00:31 Go right in. Or it might be steamed, actually. Slow motion replay that. It's fantastic, but it exploded on me. Over that chili oil in there? I'm about to be singing. It's essentially just like a thicker dough. All right, that's going to do it from Flushing Queens, Rick, my brother.
Starting point is 02:00:54 Thank you so much for the tour. You were right. I didn't give proper respect. It's a flushing Queens. It's an unbelievably culturally diverse place. I'll admit it, it puts Chinatown to shan. It warms my heart to hear you say that, to admit that I was correct about Queens. I'm glad you came. I'm glad you had a great experience. Not Queens as a whole, just flushing's Chinese food scene. We'll start there and then we'll kind of grow out. Now we get to say that we celebrated Shanghai in honor of UFC Shanghai.
Starting point is 02:01:18 Shout out the Song Yadong, Umar, NAMHOMA Manga, UFC Shanghai. We're out. I really thought we weren't going to honor Mongolian fighter Nams Rebop Bayar and have Mongolian beef. And if you're going to have Mongolian beef, you got to start the night before. Cheers, boys. This is good a day. By far, the greatest ride I have ever laid eyes. Think about Mongolian bea is that it's from Mongolia. This fucking one.
Starting point is 02:02:34 I'm feeling Mongolia in the night. Night, baby. It's gonna be that. His name is Nensway. By-bye, y'all. He's finishing everybody who's fighting. He's like the Mongolian McQuaker. Are you still up?
Starting point is 02:03:08 How? Hello? Need to be feeling real good and there's only one place to do that. Homeless cats unite. P.F. Chang's, Paul Fleming, Ann Chang's, Mongolian beef. Only way to feel real good. Let's go, boys. Ah, I'm just going to stop you right there. Three words. Mongo beef. Now.
Starting point is 02:04:04 Can I just have the Mongolian beef place? Can I also get a Mongolian beef? Three of your finest beef from Mongolian now! All right, main event of the evening is here. I'm a little hungover. I just got some Mongolian beef, and I'm feeling real good, baby. Like, whoo.
Starting point is 02:04:22 Let's get it. How good? How good? Just with the doctor ordered. So I'm feeling over there, Frankie. Montego! I'm feeling good. Feeling real good. I'm feeling real good. I'm feeling real good, baby.
Starting point is 02:04:48 How's that manga? Everything you could ever want for. It embodies the spirit of Nams Raybapagia. In the Mongolian people. You feeling so good. No, real good. We can't do it again. You feel real good.
Starting point is 02:05:12 There's only one line in the whole thing. I didn't see the script. Is that some Mongolian beef and I'm feeling real good? She had some Mongolian beef and all that was this shirt. What's the fortune? What's the fortune? What's the fortune? What the fuck?
Starting point is 02:05:43 What the fuck? What the fuck? Just laying on a fan camera guy Nick's head. She freaked the fuck out. what the fuck what did you do you just had some Mongolian beef and you're feeling real good wow
Starting point is 02:05:56 I am feeling real good all right that was Shanghai nice fight piece with a special guest appearance from the Mongolian beef it was only right with Nams Raybop buyer fighting this weekend
Starting point is 02:06:19 the step warrior that we honored him and had a proper mongo beef as his tradition And I'm feeling so good. The trip to P.F. Chang's was one of the bigger fuck around sessions we've ever had, and Frank could not nail the little bit hungover, just had some Mongolian beef. Now I'm feeling real good.
Starting point is 02:06:43 We just kept giving him the line, and he just could not deliver it. That was funny. Yeah, it was great fun. It was great fun. Between Queens and the night out and the mango beef, a lot of time spent, but overall it was a fantastic fight feast. It was a fantastic fight feast. One of the most fun we've ever done, and we got these shirts out of it.
Starting point is 02:07:05 So you better win on Saturday. And we made the pilgrimage to Chang's. We did it. The friars, the homeless cats on the friars. Homeless cats, waiter, nice guy. Never met him. And when we were kind of fucking around, the waiter was like, why are we doing hair?
Starting point is 02:07:23 It was great. It was great. We proceeded to give us some tips on what to do on the show. Yeah, you had a lot of input on what we were doing on. And then we had to fight them. All right, that leads us into a perfect segue to our pound for pound rankings this week. Rod talk last week.
Starting point is 02:07:40 Dongs this week in honor of Songya Dong. Just kidding. Chinese takeout dishes. So I'm not talking about like the authentic Chinese food that Rick has with his extended family all the time. And I'm just like, yeah, I might pass on that. I'm talking about like Panda Express. or the local Chinese takeout shop down the way,
Starting point is 02:07:59 like essentially the Americanized Chinese dishes. Yeah. You know what you're looking. Takeout Chinese. You're a little bit hungover. You go get some Mongolian beef, you know? Feeling real good. Feeling real good.
Starting point is 02:08:12 Frankie, what's the order, brother? The order today will be mysterious Frank. Connor Burke's. Wow. And then New York... A shake-up like I've never seen. Also, before we get into this, did Netflix just release like a trailer or something for GT6 and like a crashed?
Starting point is 02:08:26 Wait, Netflix did? Yeah. Wow. Yeah, yeah, two minutes ago. See the next evolution in the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto series. I believe they have like a episode on Netflix about GTSs.
Starting point is 02:08:38 Holy shit, okay. November 19th, I can't wait. I'm buying a PS5 just for it. All right, Frankie, take us away, brother. My number five is pork fried rice. Ooh, okay. Yeah, the pork in there, not the chicken, maybe sometimes a veggie bite.
Starting point is 02:08:51 Number five, pork fried rice all night long. Number four, something I hadn't experienced before I moved to New York, Singapore noodles. Like I'm a little spicy, very thin noodle, as you could see here. Got the scalyons in there. What's the difference between that and pork fried rice? One's a noodle and one's rice. Wow.
Starting point is 02:09:12 Then number three, an egg roll. I know it's a side dish, but for some reason I feel like the takeaway experience is not complete unless there is an egg roll. Got to have an egg roll. Respect to the egg roll, man. The question, though, is it with the sweet and sour sauce, which is soy sauce For me, it's just soy sauce. I don't do the sweet. I like the sweet and sour sauce.
Starting point is 02:09:29 You ever had duck sauce with it? I have, yeah. I mean, I've done all the sauces, but still the takeaway of soy. My number two, you actually saw me eat this at P.F. Ching's, the hot and sour soup. It's another staple for me. Number two for the hot and sour soup. I'm not even getting Chinese food unless there's a hot and sour soup involved. This is the best picture of hot and sour soup I could find.
Starting point is 02:09:53 And then my number one, I mean, I've been eating it since I was a kid, chicken lo-main. Love it. Got the little main noodles, got the chicken, got the veggies. What else can you ask for? Absolute respect. There's not much else you can ask for. No. All right, my number five, you saw it in the video.
Starting point is 02:10:06 Scalian pancakes. It's a side dish. Sort of just like a, I don't even know if I'd call it aside. It's almost just like a beneficiary of the meal. Like you're just going to enjoy some scalyne pancakes when you're eating Chinese food. Love them. Any sort of dips. I'll eat them straight.
Starting point is 02:10:21 Use them as a wrap on a burrito. Eat them with eggs. Do whatever you want to do. Skyny pancakes. They're just, it's almost like a loaded chip. They're just fantastic. They're just simply fantastic. Number four, if you're going to get a chicken dish, like, I feel like you're, you're
Starting point is 02:10:36 dealing with like a big three. General Soes, sesame and orange. Does anyone argue that point? No. I go, I go general sauce. I mean, it's just as good as it get fried. Do you have a cranberry? Toss it in the sauce.
Starting point is 02:10:52 Do you upset with us? Throw some rice on it. This is like, This is delicious, even cold the next day. House it. I can't do the cold the next day. Oh, I'm in for the cold. It congeals, it's all like jelly.
Starting point is 02:11:04 Yeah, but the crunch of that chicken. And then like each piece sticks to each other? I, no. You're Mr. Lomain over there, Frankie. My number three, Chowman. Chowman. Yeah, a little bit thinner noodles. Woo!
Starting point is 02:11:15 Look at that. Chowmaine from Panda Express, I can put back gallons of. Gallons of it. What's the difference? I don't know. I think it's a thinner noodle. Pan fried? You tell me.
Starting point is 02:11:28 Number two, this is where it gets tough. On their best days, there's some of the best foods on the entire planet, not just of Americanized Chinese food. Number two, and I do this with a heavy heart, because rightfully, it could be number one. Depends what day you get it. Crab Rangoon. I mean, it just mouth waters when I see it.
Starting point is 02:11:51 Just a fried pocket of cream cheese and crab, are you kidding me? and then we're going to go dunkeruny in the sauce. Are you kidding me? Crispy, hot, a little bit of sweet to it. Obviously, you got the savory from the fried pocket. Do you like it when they put the sugar on the outside? Nah. Yeah, either do it.
Starting point is 02:12:08 Let me dip, you know? Yeah. Let me mandate the sugar getting added to it. Nothing like a crab rangoon. Yeah. Thank you for Jamie. I mean, come on. The memes online.
Starting point is 02:12:18 There's a whole meme market just around crab rangoons. They're fantastic. But number one, it's a little bit off the beaten path. Oh shit. You're going to love this, Frank. Yeah. Honey walnut shrimp. Absolute.
Starting point is 02:12:30 Oh, my God, you're seeing it. Crispy to perfection. The nuttiness of the walnuts with the sweetness of the honey sauce. And then that umami flavor from the fried shrimp. We bonded over this because we found out it was our favorite dish. The problem is I've never seen this as a takeaway. This is not a takeout. Oh, y'all, it's cripping.
Starting point is 02:12:49 You can get it at fucking Panda Express. All right. Well, uh, they got Honey Walnut Shrimp or Panda Express, bro. Andy, George. Uncle Luz got it. I'm out. Uncle Luz down the road, got it. Goodbye, everyone.
Starting point is 02:13:01 It's great. There's a solid list. Good effort by both of you guys. You've been sitting on the list through your silence this entire time. I'm judging. I'm judging a little bit. That number one was definitely not,
Starting point is 02:13:13 that's like a Chinese banquet hall meal, not a takeout. I don't remember Panda Express being a Chinese banquet hall. Panda Express, it really ain't takeout Chinese either. That's even, that's the... What is it? So here's takeout, here's Chinese food. Chinese food's here, this level.
Starting point is 02:13:30 The keykeeping I've ever seen. Then there's takeout Chinese food. Then there's Panda Express, which is like fast food chain version on the derivative gets its own derivative. Correct. Where's Payway fit into all this? Pele. Paylee. What's Payway?
Starting point is 02:13:49 You're always asking about payway. I don't know what the fuck is. What is payway? Payway is like P.F. Chang's like counter service. I think it's the same company. Probably. Panxpress serves in its stance. All right. Let's hear it.
Starting point is 02:13:59 Number five. This one's going to be a little bit off the board, but real ones, no. I don't know if you guys are real ones. Just based on those lists, I'm going to lob it out there. Let's see. Fried chicken wings. Fried chicken wings from the Chinese food store? This is...
Starting point is 02:14:16 I thought about it. This is a staple meal. I don't know, but if it's going to make a list, spare ribs as well. Bone of spare ribs. Doesn't make my list, but a solid one. But the, oh, you're talking about with the bone. too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, those are very good. But fried chicken wings and fries, you get that, back in the day, you could get that for like three, four bucks. You'd be eating, you'd be eating lunch.
Starting point is 02:14:36 You'd leave the high school lunch, go grab that real quick, come back, fried wings and fries from the Chinese food spot. Always hits. Always delicious. Excuse me. Pleasure to your bullshit about the honeywana shrimp take. Sorry about that. That's like real Chinese, but not from Panda Express. Number four, This one's on most menus, not all menus, but if it is on your menu, you must. You must get this in lieu of other items. That's the beef with mushrooms. Beef, mushrooms.
Starting point is 02:15:08 You can get your garlic beef, you can get your beef with veggies, you can get your beef and broccoli. Forego those if you can get the beef with mushrooms. They've got the really sweet brown sauce on there, a little bit of a mix of oyster soy sauce. beef mushrooms, no filler, no bullshit, no water cress, no fucking other garbage. It is just beef and mushrooms
Starting point is 02:15:32 delicious over some. I prefer that over like a white rice. Let's do that over a white rice rather than a fried rice. I absolutely love it. Beef of mushrooms. Can I come out and admit something? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:15:43 I fucking hate watercress. Yeah. I hate it. Same. Just want to get that. Useless. I like it. Number three.
Starting point is 02:15:51 Staple. Simple. Fry up that rice. Throw some chicken on top. I know Frank said he's not a fan of the chicken. He likes the pork. I'm a chicken guy. Always have been.
Starting point is 02:16:01 Get that white meat chicken on there. Chicken fried rice. Staple. Can be the appetizer or the side to a meal or can be the meal itself if you're hungry enough to chow down. You get that cord and you just start ripping. Just rip it. In the white box. White box.
Starting point is 02:16:18 Takeaway box. Chicken fried rice. Number two. It's fucking want some. Number two. I also like Frank have a staple soup but unlike Frank
Starting point is 02:16:27 I've gone to the upper tier I'm in the penthouse of soups Wonton Wontan egg drop combo Bosh! combo Whoa! They mix it for you at the restaurant
Starting point is 02:16:37 or you do this on your own? This is one of the most basic orders on the Chinese food menu turns out this is a New York thing like I have been other places where I'm like hey can I get wanton egg drop They're like we have wonton soup and we have an egg soup
Starting point is 02:16:51 and I'm like no no no I can't lie there only. That looks pretty fucking good. It's fantastic. It's, as I said, the penthouse. It's the, it's the Rolls-Royce. It's the Bentley of soups. Can I also admit something else?
Starting point is 02:17:04 I'm always a little apprehensive to start the meal with soup. I know it's a classic starter. I understand. Super salad, you know, classic starter. Hydrates. Yeah, hydrates. It's sometimes hot liquid to start out the meal. Sometimes you get a little bit too much of it.
Starting point is 02:17:22 like I've set a bad base. I don't know if I'm... I don't know if I'm dunking a bunch of... I'm not saying it gives me trouble. I'm just saying I feel like I can eat less. Right, right, right. You know, I'm not... I have gas here or anything from it, but...
Starting point is 02:17:34 I don't hate that too. Even miso soup with, like, some sushi, you know, fuck... It just needs to be a little bit. I just need a little bit. I don't eat a lot. This is a heavy. This is a heavy soup. Exactly.
Starting point is 02:17:43 The broth is thick. The wontons are in there. If I'm just crushing egg drop wanton, I'm in, but... Love a good soup. But when I'm starting the meal, setting the base for, you know, rice and general souls and 18 crab rangoons. Do I want it? I don't know.
Starting point is 02:17:57 I would nix the crab rangoon from that equation, but... No respect for the rangoons here. I like them. I think that is a good take. I think that is a good take. Especially a soup this heavy. I think that's a good take. Number one, I am shocked. This has appeared in another list.
Starting point is 02:18:13 I'm shocked. Singapore am I fun. Singapore am I fun. Frank knows ball. Wow. This is the dish. Wow. Thin my fun noodles with curry sauce. Usually, depending on where you get it, but most places, they're mixing in a little bit of everything.
Starting point is 02:18:30 They're doing a little bit of the pork. They're doing a little bit of the shrimp. They're mixing in some veggies. It's an A plus plus plus plus. Singapore My Fun. Delicious. Perfect consistency. Perfect noodle.
Starting point is 02:18:42 Love a thin noodle. Love a thin. The curry sauce is just beautiful. Now, there's one problem. There's a huge problem with this one as opposed to the others. this will stain like nobody's fucking business to a level that if you are eating this without a bib or you're no fuck spilling it
Starting point is 02:18:59 you don't have a Singapore noodle shirt yeah I don't have a Singapore noodle shirt but even if you're eating it and like part of the curry splashes from what you're eating on that yellow stain is is gonna be there for a bit that curry stain's like a motherfucker I was gonna say it has to be the curry that makes it yellow love curry love thin noodles
Starting point is 02:19:17 I've never had Singapore my phone must order. Sounds like my kind of fun. Wow. Same important. Any honorable mentions out there? Jordan, Andy, you guys got a favorite? Boneless spare ribs I had on my honorable.
Starting point is 02:19:31 Respect. I don't like the boneless. I like the bone in spare ribs as as GC knows. Could do it. Wait, why does G.C. know that. It's where the flavor comes from. You got to get the bone for the flavor.
Starting point is 02:19:41 It's where the flavor. There's a place by me that does these incredible spare ribs. They're like honey glazed. And it's just next level. And sick soup is also just like Wanton egg drop. Like if I'm sick, that's the go-to.
Starting point is 02:19:56 Oh, sick soup. I thought you're saying Sig soup. It was just a soup full of cigarettes. Well, I mean, if Carlos Prostas is fighting. I'm down. I'm down. I like orange chicken. Respect.
Starting point is 02:20:07 Fried rice. Can't go wrong. But have you guys tried Peruvian Chinese? Yes. Or Venezuela and Chinese. I have. I have. I have.
Starting point is 02:20:15 And I don't remember where. Vegas. Is that Mexican? Yeah. Chinese? Yeah. Mexican. What's,
Starting point is 02:20:22 is, is, I can't remember the name right now, but I'll, I'll find it and I'll send it to you. I have had Peruvian Chinese and it was incredible. So growing up in Venezuela
Starting point is 02:20:31 and having Chinese food is very different from what we get here. Yeah, there's like a style of like Americanized Chinese food. Yeah. Fry the shit out of it.
Starting point is 02:20:41 MSG. Either way, going to Queens, going to your local Panxpress, going to your local takeout joint, Chinese food, Skip the Pandex, bro. Chinese food's fucking great, huh?
Starting point is 02:20:51 Just great. Very much enjoy it. Love Chinese. Food? Both. All of it. Respect. Respect.
Starting point is 02:21:01 All right, that's the pound for pound this week. I did take a quick peek at the chat just for one second when I was giving my soup take. Someone was like, oh, here goes this fucking guy in his bubble guts again. You take one dump on the air and you're just forever. Oh, bubble guts, burks, and cramp or Rick. Bald, bubble guts, burks. There he goes again. All right, we got any voice mouse, Frankie?
Starting point is 02:21:25 321 for a show where we were like, nothing to talk about, huh? Oh, hoi, hoi. Oh, boys. The gypsy king, Tyson Fury. Oh, shit. I like to say that Anthony Joshua is a scared little boy.
Starting point is 02:21:45 And another thing, we all love turkey. His excellency, Has it not mean nothing but peer generosity. But speaking of Turkey, I reckon Connor is you a trip to Turkey, because it's only an offering for one bald king. I was going to say, that's fucked up, Tyson. You're bald, too. And another thing, this fight on Netflix will be massive.
Starting point is 02:22:06 It will be the biggest thing ever. The only thing bigger than his fight is Frank's mom's ass. Catch your all the time, boys. Tyson knows balls. Thanks, Tyson. We appreciate the call, man. Look, you know, fight's going to be big. The validity of the size of Frank's mother's rear end,
Starting point is 02:22:29 I can neither confirm her tonight. Beep. What up, boys in the back? It's Justin from Montreal. Long-time listener, first-time caller. I got to say one of the best parts of the show are the constant drops. Personal favorite has to be James Tahuna.
Starting point is 02:22:49 I mean, rocking since I mean, early days with you guys. However, I do not know the entire story behind Frank kissing his mom's ass. Could we go over it once again for people who did not listen to it, considering it is one of the most iconic lower drops of the show, I mean, of all shows at this point. Thank you for everything you do. Love you guys.
Starting point is 02:23:13 Best part is it's not even a drop. It is just a reference to a moment on the show. The James Tuhna is so good. It feels like we've resurrected a little bit this week. Anytime someone can't think of a name and it just comes in. It doesn't matter how unrelated James Tihuna is. It fits in perfectly. Frank's mom's ass story, what were we doing?
Starting point is 02:23:39 We were telling a story about a crazy night out. It was like, things you regret or some bullshit. Who knows? And Frank just opened up and told us a story about he got so fucking a hammered. He came home and kissed his mom's bare ass. woke up the morning after and his... I look how the story has mutated. Do you want to make clarifications, right?
Starting point is 02:23:59 Yeah, so I come home, right? Sure. It's real dark, right? No, shut the fuck up. Just go back and watch the show. Either way, yeah. You should just go back and watch the OG clip because of the sheer shock factor.
Starting point is 02:24:13 I was he going to find it. The sheer shock factor. Just search the transcripts for Franks. You actually want to see it? You want to see it? You can go on my Instagram, and it's like my pinned post from the recap of 2025. it's in that carousel
Starting point is 02:24:25 if you want to see the the lore because yeah it's all time it's all fucking time it's so good I can't believe it's still going because it happened in like August of last year we don't decide we don't decide by the way the so good drop is quickly going up
Starting point is 02:24:42 my ranking can I hear one more time the hold on the S is what gets me so good and he's so predictable with his responses yeah Hello, hello, hello, hello, how's it good?
Starting point is 02:24:57 Hello, hello, hello, I'm good, how are you? Hello, hello, hello, I'm good, how are you? Shout out, Armin. Shut out. All right, what the fuck, Frank. Oh, Frank. I, dude, I just watched an episode. You're playing fucking voicemails where I'm listening to somebody sing for three minutes,
Starting point is 02:25:16 and you won't listen to my question. You won't put my question on? What the fuck, Frank? What? I should have precedence by the fact that I've already had one on and you know what it was. You remember the statement and shit question. And that leads me into this question. Okay. Since you won't take any real questions, when are you going to do a pound for pound voicemails? And why am I number one? Thank you. That's my question.
Starting point is 02:25:42 Frank, I can't be nice to you. You only fucking play the questions that I put on where I'm aggressive. So, fuck you. That's, I guess, you know? That's all. That's it. That's answer the question this time. Stop ignoring me, Frank. I love you. I love you, too.
Starting point is 02:25:58 Is the question, when are we doing pound for pound voice mails? God, it would be so good, but it would just take... So good. It would just take so much effort on our part to go back and find them. Because you can't just be like, oh, yeah, that one time the guy called in and sang Zach Brown, or that one Don Davis called it, like, you have to have the evidence. I also wouldn't feel good about five. Like, we'd have to do 50.
Starting point is 02:26:21 There's so many good ones. Yeah. It's one of my favorite parts of the show. I mean, we literally went out drinking and went to P.F. Chang's because some guy had a throwaway line on a voicemail. Okay. We spent $180. Wait, that's how much we spent? On custom Nams Ray bought by our step warrior shirts.
Starting point is 02:26:47 A guy who hasn't even fought in the UFC yet off of some guy. throw away hungover line on a voicemail. Love the voicemails. I'm going to get fired. Love the voicemail. You're not going to get fired. The only reason you get fired is because the
Starting point is 02:27:02 expense report, they're going to be like, what the fuck? You didn't buy us? Nams right about buy our shirts? And we didn't get the invite to go to P.F. Chang's? Just peep the... It's all in the details, people. It's all in the details.
Starting point is 02:27:15 I'm telling you, you got to stay vigilant around these parts. Shanghai shirt shirts? Shanghai shirt shirts? Shark shirt, Jimmer Ferdet. Is that a Nams Raybopiour shirt? Is that Mongo beef on there? You got to stay visual, man.
Starting point is 02:27:28 It's in the fine details. Okay, another thing about a top five voicemails, what makes these special is they drop and then they just disappear. And if the fans want them to remain, they remain, right? Like, obviously Zach Brown, obviously Don, obviously Frank's mom's ass, and other things that just like, you know,
Starting point is 02:27:48 continue to seep in. we do not choose that. So by curating that, beyond being just like self-referential in general, we are now trying to like force the hand, I just want the people to decide. What stays, what goes? That's, you know?
Starting point is 02:28:02 Couldn't have said it better myself. You're right? Sorry about that last cool, boys. I was a bit rowdy, and you know what I mean? That guy got me a bit fucking mad. Is this the Welsh guy? A little microchannel impression. I got one Mongolian dude.
Starting point is 02:28:22 my mind. Connor Brooks, I am the most entertaining carnivore on the planet. Okay, good boys. Yes, so. What the fuck? Was that the Welsh guy last week who was calling
Starting point is 02:28:35 in so pissed off about the World Cup? I don't know. But he did say he wants you and it's because he's the most he's the biggest carnivore? And you're a Mongolian guy? One Mongolian on your mind.
Starting point is 02:28:51 I'm not Mongolian, bro. I'm the Mongolian monster when it comes to the beef. You got Mongolian in you because you're eating Mongolian beef. Also, we forgot to clarify that mango beef is obviously number one on all our list. It would have been a waste of time to put it there. Takeout food. They don't even have that at takeout because it's such a high tier of food. We walked in and ordered three Mongo beefs.
Starting point is 02:29:12 We said put it down on the table at P.F. Chang's and it was the tip of the cap. It was the tip of the cap. They were like, these guys know what the fuck they're doing. Real good. There it is. Do you, Frank? Hey, uh, boys in the back.
Starting point is 02:29:28 This is, uh, Calvin. This is my first time I'm ready to be eating your voicemail. Oh, thanks for calling in, brother. Uh, I'm from Arizona. I'm Navajo. Can somebody, I love Navajo Sterling. Um, cool guy.
Starting point is 02:29:42 Yeah. I'm just confused on why his name is Navo. Oh, God. Isn't he from like New Zealand or something? He is. Uh, hey, we don't see a lot of natives in professional. professional sports, but I'll take it. I think from now on Navajo
Starting point is 02:29:56 is just one of us. It's his name. Also, shout out to Shiaz Pete. He's a rookie. He's the biggest native I've ever seen in my life. I was going to say guy on the Cowboys.
Starting point is 02:30:14 Yeah. Represent. Respect. Respect. Yeah, he gave a great speech to Cowboys about how being on the team together is going to form brotherhood. Yeah, I don't know why his name is Navajo
Starting point is 02:30:25 Sterling. I just looked it up. I will tell you. Well, can I just say... Okay, you go. First, I thought he was calling in because he was going to be like, why does Aero pronounce his name? Navajo. Navajo. Navajo. Navajo. And he, like, kind of lets the O fade off.
Starting point is 02:30:41 It's definitely Navajo Sterling. Navajo Sterling. Yeah. Okay. Are you ready? You don't know this, right? No, does anybody know this? Does Jordan know this? Okay. So good. So good. his name is not actually Navajo Oh
Starting point is 02:30:56 He's okay Here's more important He is an indigenous His ancestry is indigenous He's a Maori He's of Maori descent His real name is Oh boy I'm gonna butcher this
Starting point is 02:31:08 Please if Navajo Sterling ever sees this Please do not fault me I apologize in advance Rangotah Hengia Okay So he has another name Here's the crazy part
Starting point is 02:31:20 You're ready for the This is where Navajo comes in my two siblings and I our first names are very long Maori names they're family names but we go by our middle names and my parents
Starting point is 02:31:28 have always loved really different names my brother was named after Shaquille O'Neal and my dad was really into western movies cowboy movies old western
Starting point is 02:31:37 so that's where the name Navajo comes from so they were just like into American culture and like he is named after Native American Native people okay
Starting point is 02:31:46 I like it crazy it's a unique name and then he just started going by it. Sick. It's more unique than God, I'll tell you that much. Well, that's what he was, like, I guess his brother might be Shaq or Shaquille, which is fucking
Starting point is 02:32:00 crazy too. Shaq is sick. Yeah, it's a sick name. I learned something new. Hey, I'm working in the Amazon. My name's Jordan. Does the latter. Don't know. He's saying the Amazon or Amazon? I'm working to the Amazon. Go back. Go back. Hey, I'm working in the
Starting point is 02:32:14 Amazon. My name's Jordan. Okay. I'm working in the Amazon. My name. Which isn't. Okay. The Amazon? No, he's saying I'm working in the Amazon. Yo, that's nuts. There's a huge difference between working for Amazon. Maybe there's more context.
Starting point is 02:32:25 He was like, and then I... Yeah, yeah, all right, right, right, right. You're right, right. You're right. You're right. No, no, no, you've already started. You're working in the Amazon. Okay, so you're calling from the Amazon.
Starting point is 02:32:34 I'm looking at pictures of the Amazon right now, right now. Let's hear it. Doesn't seem like he's got much service. Hey, I'm working on the Amazon. My name's Jordan. Hey, I'm working on the Amazon. My name's Jordan. Doesn't matter.
Starting point is 02:32:45 John Pork is John Pork Poller, whoever called. Shut the fuck up, lad. All right. John For. Definitely works. is John Pork. He will forever be John Pork. What does Chonko even mean?
Starting point is 02:32:57 Nobody cares. He will forever and always see John Pork. You will accept it. New York Vitch will accept it. Yes. Fucking everyone will accept it. John Pork is John Pork. John Pork will learn to love John Pork.
Starting point is 02:33:10 All right, that's it. Good about. It's hot. It's hot. No. At the end, he says it's hot. It's hot. It's hot in the Amazon right now.
Starting point is 02:33:18 Is he in the Amazon? Is he saying that working at Amazon? is like working in the jungle? No, he is working in the Amazon. I think he's in the Amazon rainforest. Like the Amazon as an Amazon Rainforest. The Amazon rainforest. Or is it the rainforests cafe in Las Vegas?
Starting point is 02:33:36 But that's not the Amazon rainforest. If you type in the Amazon on Google, you type in normal Amazon, it takes you to Amazon. He typed in the Amazon. You type in the Amazon, it's the rainfall. Amazon rainforest. Hey, Jordan, we're going to need you to call back in and clarify where you're working.
Starting point is 02:33:51 It's very important to the show. If you are in the Amazon, not Amazon, like, fulfillment center, the Amazon, we need some picks, like, show us what the fuck you're doing, bro. Can you really just call from the Amazon and have, like, oh, you think they don't have phones, is that what you're saying? Yeah, like, that's interesting. And then not any bird noises or anything in the background. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a good point by you.
Starting point is 02:34:12 Noise cancellation, Frank. He didn't say he was outside. No rain. He said he was in the Amazon. If you're in the Amazon, then you're probably in the forest. He could be in the middle of the river where you're. It's just quiet, it's serene. It's early in the morning.
Starting point is 02:34:24 He's going to send us a picture from a warehouse. He's in the fifth. What's up? His fucking John Port. It's hot. Yeah, the John Port thing, whatever your opinion is on it. Whatever you want to call him. Shout out to Chonko.
Starting point is 02:34:36 I respect. I'm getting offended now. Shout out to Magomed Zaynukov. Okay? Chonko, John Port. Shout out to him. What's up? I respect anyone's opinion.
Starting point is 02:34:47 What's up? Greg here, the fifth grade teacher from Maryland. And this time I actually have an MMA question for you. Last time I called, I asked about someone you look up to outside of your family and challenge you to tell them. My question today is around the same idea of looking up to someone. I'm really interested in Rick's opinion as a Ronda Rousey defender, but also as a girl dad. Rick, I've heard you say that Rhonda didn't get a fair shake in the media after her loss to Holly and lost to Nunez.
Starting point is 02:35:16 but I wanted to point to the coverage she was getting just before the losses. There was a commercial where young girls were watching her train in judo and looking up to her as their hero. There's the fact that she was the first truly super dominant female champion and how she fought stereotypes of this being a male sport or thinking that girls are too weak for this sport and such. But then how did she show she was a true champion after her loss? How did she handle her loss? She ran out of the cage and really didn't do any interviews after that at all. Was there another dominant male champion that acted that way?
Starting point is 02:35:56 How did Israel handle his title losses or Anderson or what about dominant cruiser, Volk? Any other dominant champion when they lost? Many went right to the post-fight press conference instead of literally running away. So I'm just challenging that she didn't get a fairer. shake from the media. I'm not a parent, but I have nieces and many girls students that I feel she said a truly bad example of poor sportsmanship, let alone what it means to be a champion. I'm interested in Andy's point of view, too, as a woman if she was a fan at the time and saw how Rhonda handled her losses. I'm a fan of other female fighters, but just not Rhonda with how
Starting point is 02:36:39 she handled herself. Thanks, guys. Stay well. Okay. There's a lot to unpack. here. I think it's completely fair. It's very fair. Here's how I'll address it. On the topic of setting an example and girls looking up to her and being that example for girls,
Starting point is 02:36:57 I think and this is just my perspective. Other people will feel differently. I think we have to get used to the fact, especially now, like this is Ronda 10 years ago, especially now in 2026, that
Starting point is 02:37:11 athletes are athletes, right? you can look at at these athletes and see their achievement and see their success and want to tell people, hey, you should you should idolize this athlete. But we now know so much about these athletes and hear about them and their personal lives and this and that. And not everything they do is going to perfectly align with your value set, right? As an example, Rhonda Rousey may be a great example of athletic achievement, but she may not be the best example of sportsmanship or whatever other kind of value you're assigning to it. that you wouldn't point to her. It's too complicated, in my opinion, for one human to embody every type of thing that you want to assign value to and say, this is the shining example. It'd be very rare if you could find one human that that applies to.
Starting point is 02:37:59 Seemingly, Dolly Parton seems to be like an unanimous example of everybody loving, but I digress. That's what I'd say in part. As far as the leaving the cage part, I don't think Ronda Rousey owes anybody anything. Now, would I have preferred to hear from her? Would I have preferred if she faced the music? Do I more identify and respect people who take the loss, dust themselves off, say, I'll be back and move on,
Starting point is 02:38:30 like we saw from the prime of Connor McGregor, or have we seen from many other athletes in the past? Like we've even seen from somebody as young as Bella Mir in this most recent example where she lost on Tuesday. Yes, I would prefer that. But I don't think Ronda Rousey has any obligation or owes anybody anything to act that way. And then another point I would say is just Ronda Rousey's career was based around her being a rule breaker, my own way, bad reputation music playing, do her own thing. Quite frankly, kind of like nasty and mean to her opponents.
Starting point is 02:39:05 Like Ronda Rousey is not the shining example of like sportsmanship, classiness, things like that. to me, Ronda Rousey has always embodied excellence. To me, Ronda Rousey has always embodied like elevating the, the athletic part of that. And so I would only say, if I was to look at Ronda Rousey and I have two daughters and I was to say, here's what you should take from Ronda Rousey, it wouldn't be those other things. It would be, here's how a woman who pushed herself to a level that was undeniable, that Dana White didn't want women to fight in the octagon. And she was able to change his mind and elevate the platform for so many other different women.
Starting point is 02:39:41 And then acknowledge, hey, maybe she wasn't the best sport about it or maybe she wasn't the shining example when it comes to these things and just understand that complicated dynamic. So that's my take on it. I don't think that Rhonda owed anybody anything. She handled it how she wanted to handle it. My preference would have been for it not to go that way. But I don't think that it's like an obligation. And many people treated it like she owes us. She owes us this.
Starting point is 02:40:03 And she just didn't. And so that's how I feel. Hopefully that makes sense. Andy, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I mean, I agree with everything you said. the only thing I'll say from mine is that I didn't actually watch Rhonda fight until this last one. Wow. I didn't even, like I had heard her name, but I'd never seen her.
Starting point is 02:40:20 I've only heard of the way that things were handled before and losses and whatnot. And like, I don't even think that I could tell you all the people she fought. I have no idea. Yeah. So I, everything else you agreed with, you said I agree with. Yeah, that's my only thing. I can't speak for her specifically. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:40:39 That's all I'll say. but I also understand people who are like that rubbed me the wrong way and I kind of don't fuck with that I totally understand somebody feeling that way like this guy who called in so that that's your prerogative I just feel differently about it I never looked at Ronda Rousey
Starting point is 02:40:54 as like the golden child I'm never like Rhonda Rousey can do no wrong no Ronda Rousey fucks up the same as everybody else so that's how I feel fair play I mean she's a fighter at the end of the day man athletes as idols Chuck Chuck
Starting point is 02:41:08 Chuck Barkley tried to warn us about this shit many, many moons ago that, like, we're not role models. Like, he tried. He was early on that shit when everybody was like, Michael Jordan is the greatest human
Starting point is 02:41:19 who's ever lived and everybody, oh my God, I can't wait to put this athlete on my wall. Now in 2026, it's like, what do you tweet? Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 02:41:27 He said, what? And it's like, you can't, you can't look at these people as these like deities. It just, it's impossible.
Starting point is 02:41:33 We're all humans. We're all flawed. Ro model is just not perfect role models. Not perfect. Imperfect. being a human is what's supposed to be the like attractive part of it. That's right. All right, you just lost, you're full of adrenaline, you're full of
Starting point is 02:41:44 disappointment, you got the fuck out of the cage. Like, why do you have to answer for anyone on that? So, ah, interesting. Yeah. Boys, it's Luke from Sydney here. Much love, much love. Now, I need to bring something to your attention. Okay. There's an opportunity that's coming around that I think the team
Starting point is 02:42:06 will be really good to help me out on. Tell us. There's a theater here in Sydney called the Hagen Orphean, big fan. In December, they're running a Lord of the Rings extended edition to the all-day marathon. 11 and a half hours from 10.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. 12 hours? Now, I've never watched Lord of the Rings, but it's obviously something I've heard about a million times over the years. A lot of discussion on the show from you guys over the years.
Starting point is 02:42:34 Knowing there's the kind of games that I've liked and movies I've liked, I do think Lord of the Rings would be right at my alley if I gave at the time. But this feels like a kind of an insane way to do it. I want your thoughts. Is this a bad idea? I'm kind of setting myself up for failure. Is it too much to try and hit him more and go, let me know. And if, you know, any other Sydney side is interested, I mean, there's still boys in the back meet up, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Marathon.
Starting point is 02:42:58 I'm sure Rick would love that. All right. With all due respect. I'm opting out. Rick's mic. I'm opting out. I'm opting out. A boys in the back.
Starting point is 02:43:07 Lord of the Rings Marathon meetup in Sydney, not featuring the boys in the back, would be absolutely fucking hilarious. If anybody does meet up and does that, you must send us a picture. I have to send pictures, but we'll feature it on the show. That would be the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen.
Starting point is 02:43:24 A couple of things that you've got to take into account here. Are you doing it with friends? Do you have a group of friends to be doing it with? Because I think that makes a massive difference. If you're going to the theater by yourself for 12 hours, that's going to be tough, man. That's a slog. Also, you having not seen it at all, not even the non-extended versions, I would venture into those
Starting point is 02:43:46 before you try the extended versions back to back to back. Because to your point, you don't really know if you like them yet. So like it might be cool if you see all three first and then you go and see the extended cuts and you're like, oh, that wasn't in the OG. That's kind of cool. I personally cannot do. I love the Lord of the Rings. in my pantheon of movies, I don't think I could do 12 hours straight at a movie theater.
Starting point is 02:44:12 There just gets to a point where I'm just sitting in front of a screen and I'm just like, all right, I've had enough of this. Like, I'm done sitting here. I can't keep my, I can't keep watching this. So has there ever been like a three or four hour movie that you're like, I got to fucking get out? Like, I can't finish this. There isn't, there hasn't been, I can't finish it. But there's definitely been a couple three hour plus movies in theaters where like, you hit
Starting point is 02:44:36 the two hour mark and you're like, dude, we're. so got an hour 12 left. I'm like, Fack, hour two of Inception and you're like, wait, they haven't even gone
Starting point is 02:44:42 like to the last level yet. Okay, I loved inception. I love inception. I love inception too. It's all inception on my birthday. I absolutely loved it. How long was Asteroid City, Frank,
Starting point is 02:44:50 four and a half hours again? Oh, like, 12 hours. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a death sentence. Anybody else in for the 12 hour Lord of the Rings? As a Lord of the Rings lover, my vote is,
Starting point is 02:45:01 my votes no. Unless you're doing it with a bunch of friends and like you guys can, there's got to be intermissions, you can eat, start drinking on the, the third one. She just starts getting crazy
Starting point is 02:45:09 on the third one. You're like, do. Nah, you gotta, you gotta break it up. I did the extended edition for the first one, but it was just the one.
Starting point is 02:45:18 And there was an intermission. And I was like, okay, this is fine. Like, I went with my brother. It was great. Keep shaking your head. These movies need intermissions.
Starting point is 02:45:27 I mean, it's just fucking... The extended one, yeah. I actually respect the fuck out of an intermission. Like, dude, I got a piss. I got a piss.
Starting point is 02:45:36 And like, it was kind of open Odyssey. had a little intermission. Dude, we needed an intermission in the Odyssey, especially in the IMAX 70 millimeter. You're in a stadium, and there's no room to get up.
Starting point is 02:45:45 The water scene, I was like, oh, man. You're stuck. We could have lost 20 minutes in that scene. When they were on the seas to go, the Circe. Project Hail Mary was, like, close to three hours, I think. It was like 2.40 or something.
Starting point is 02:45:58 And, like, you go to these, like, the premium seat theaters. And so you want to sit in the center. And, like, dude, it's just like, you get up. And it's just like, sorry, sorry. Sorry, sorry.
Starting point is 02:46:06 Yeah. Okay, I will say in those... And then like, if you step wrong and it's just like... It's the absolute worst, man. Okay, but... And then you got to go back in, and everyone's just like... There's more legroom than before. So before you're even worse off.
Starting point is 02:46:26 Well, no, now it's... Now there's more legroom, but everyone's sitting with the fucking recliners like this. Oh, that's right. So you see them all just like... The recline. The recline. You're right. You're right.
Starting point is 02:46:34 You're fucking serious. I'm reclining. You're right. And it's just like, you're stepping over everything. And it's just, yeah, I don't know, man. I don't know how I could be going into that third one after I've already watched eight hours of movies that day and being like, let's fucking go.
Starting point is 02:46:50 Rack up 12 hours of Fast and the Furious. I'm fucking there. I think I'm going to start my journey to Fast forever. That's the final one? Yeah. Yeah, I think I'll get there eventually. God tier. I could do that.
Starting point is 02:47:03 I could do every single one of them back to back to back. no problem. I'll get the sleeping bag. We'll fucking camp out. Easy. Light work. But you put that eight hours of walking and Lord of the Rings out there? No, that's a pass. That's a hard pass, dog. 12 hours. No, eight hours of it is walking, though. Oh, I see what you should. Four hours of it is something. Boy, Bobkins. Yeah. Baby. So, Bacch, boy, Bodkins, boys. Hopefully you all had a great summer. Hopefully you enjoyed the nice summertime and everything else. Best. Now it's back to school session. So, uh,
Starting point is 02:47:36 Let me ask you guys, you know, what was your guys this must have on that first day of school? It could be high school, college, whatever you want to say, elementary school. And share some great memories of your first days back at school. All right, boys, have a great weekend. It's toward the weekend. Fibbson's out, baby. There really was few things as magical as that, like, first day back at school. Like, you've been gone for the summer.
Starting point is 02:48:03 Everyone's tanned up. You haven't seen people in a while. You're finding out who's in the classes. Oh, the girl, you got a crush her. Oh, shit. Oh, she's in second period. Let's go. You walk in and your boys are there and you're just like, oh, yeah, we got mad together.
Starting point is 02:48:17 Let's go. New fit. Oh, you got to have the fit on. You lay the fit on beforehand, that's for sure. Whipping out the binder. You got the pencil with the grippers. You got, oh, the mechanical pencils and pens are still working. The Dr. Grip by Bick.
Starting point is 02:48:32 Yeah, it was just a great day, man. So specific. It's going heavy on the grips here. Oh, trust me. I was gripping those pencils, bro. No one was taking those motherfuckers from me. What colors did you have? The silver Dr. Grip was the all-time.
Starting point is 02:48:47 That was a mechanical Pryp. You don't know about Dr. Grip's grip? I have to look. I have to look. Those things are so fucking. Oh, I don't pocket watch. No one, but this man over here is, bro! You had a Dr. Grip pencil?
Starting point is 02:48:59 Yeah, they had the pens. The pens were nice, too. But, like, back in the day, it was all about the mechanical pencil. you'd fucking grab the rods of lead just ching chung chung chung chung chung these they were so fucking thick they were thick boys than dr grips nothing like nothing like the doctor grip
Starting point is 02:49:14 something very special to me growing up was uh were you all bus kids I was not wow wow that's crazy I was school bus all the way up to like sophomore year what do you mean that explains a lot I wasn't I didn't have mommy Are you bus kids or said no you're like I was I'm like, okay, that explains a lot.
Starting point is 02:49:35 And then I'm mommy sucking on my thumb, driving me to school and whatnot. Yeah, you just had your orthopedic fucking pen because you didn't want to get a callus. Don't ask me how I got those pensions, all right? And they were pencils. They were mechanical pencils. My mom would make me and my brothers this cake on the first day of school, and it was like a yellow cake with yellow frosting. And then it would be like a bus, chocolate donut wheels. And we had it like up until like middle school.
Starting point is 02:50:02 every first day of school, all-time shit. A lot of things seem to be for you, you know, my mom made this, which is beautiful. Like, my mom was just like, oh, school's here. Wake up, get out the door. Your parents sent you to camp for like two months, and they were like, get the fuck out of here. We're going to Europe, bro.
Starting point is 02:50:21 No, that's exactly what happened. That's what I'm saying. See you later. We're going on this beautiful trip that you guys are not invited on. Dude, I used to go on some, like, very, interesting trips, like, as a young kid. What makes them interesting?
Starting point is 02:50:37 Give me, give me, like, the... Like, it was not to the beach, but it also wasn't, like, to the south of France. It was, like, to a national park in, like, Maine and, like, Montana. And, like, all my friends were like, you're going to a fucking national park in Maine? That's fucking stupid. Now those are places I would choose to go to. I, like, kind of understand where I was like, I'm not going to go to the dirty beach in South Georgia.
Starting point is 02:50:59 I'm actually going to probably go to a national park or something. said. So yeah, it was always weird getting back. Everyone's like, oh, I went to Hilton Head and Jekyll Island and I'm like, those are local? Big Sky, Montana. Hilton Head and Jekyll Island are local like spots that people used to always go to? Dude, we would go to like hotels with no TV
Starting point is 02:51:17 and it was like prison sentences. Cabin? Like a cabin? It was just like old hotels and they just didn't have a TV. And me and my brothers were like, we hate us here. Your parents did it right. Your parents did it. Oh, they definitely did it right. In retrospect,
Starting point is 02:51:31 As a child, I was just like, oh, yeah, there's no TV. What are we supposed to do here? They're so smart. They're like, why am I going to pay all this money
Starting point is 02:51:40 to go to this tourist trap bullshit? This kid's going to only eat chicken tenders. They're going to make me spend all this money to go to this bullshit. Let me give them a real experience. Fuck, your parents were locked in. Your parents were locked in. The trip for New Mexico,
Starting point is 02:51:53 Colorado, Montana, Maine. What else did we went to, like, just so random. I was always like, where are we going this year? Wyoming. Like, not to ski.
Starting point is 02:52:06 I love it. To just, like, look around. Did you have any, like... It was great. It was great. There's the obvious, like, you get the fit, you get the binder, you got, like, all your shit. Was there, like, a tradition? You said kind of the chocolate.
Starting point is 02:52:20 Cool bus cake, shout out. Was there, like, anything that you had to do for, like, was there a superstition, a tradition, of anything? By the way, my kids are in school. Like, my two oldest are in. school now. They tell you they tell you what classes you know like who's your teacher and all this stuff
Starting point is 02:52:38 ahead of time. So now all the parents are like hey is blah blah blah in blah blah blah's class? And now it's like you know before you walk in the door you know who's in whose class. Unfortunately young Avery didn't have a lot of the people she was hoping in her class and she was quite devastated. Now we're starting to hear more names. There's been more the network has spread a little bit. There's she's feeling a little better.
Starting point is 02:53:01 There's some more names that she recognizes. But like the immediate, like her girl crew, her three or four, like closest, it's like, oh, I'm in the other class. Oh, that's tough. And she's young enough to where, like, you're just in the class. It's not like you have six different periods.
Starting point is 02:53:17 Oh, yeah. No, you're with them. You're with them the whole time. That's tough. New friends, though. New friends. This is a small enough school that a lot of these are old friends.
Starting point is 02:53:26 They're just not the closest ones. Okay. Like, she's known all the kids in her class. she's known for three, four years now, which is good. I have a, my school district is pretty small. So it's not like strangers, which is good. But, you know, we're going through it. We're going through it.
Starting point is 02:53:41 I'm sure she's struggling. She'll be okay. What's up? New York bitch and Georgia bitch. This is Ryan from Long Island. I hope that. For just a single question today. So last weekend I did a far walk away half-married.
Starting point is 02:54:02 on. Shout out to the uncound run club on Strava. And afterwards, I saw Action Bronson in Wantsaw. Hell yeah. One of my friends. And as he left for his final song, he did Sergio. He was like,
Starting point is 02:54:18 I've got to go fluffy and robo popper starting soon. Which I thought was amazing. It was the second time I've seen Action Bronson in concert and both times were on a pretty random fight night. And he was so excited to leave which just makes him even more
Starting point is 02:54:34 likable. My question is for Georgia Bidge. I'm wondering how is your training going for your marathon, half marathon? And what is like a normal week of training for that look like for you? All right? Have a good one guys.
Starting point is 02:54:50 Keep up the good work. Love everything you're doing and I'm happy you guys are back. Shout out to you. Appreciate the call. Appreciate the love. I think Rick was at that concert. I was there as well in Wanta. And I was at that one that he went to where he talked about Spivok and Tibera. Texted us on Saturday night and was just like, yo, fucking Bronson just dipped because he's got
Starting point is 02:55:10 to go watch Robocop versus Fluffy. Absolute legend that guy. Action Bronson is. In terms of the half marathon training, knocked out a four-mileer this morning. Remind me the date. When is this happening? October 17th. Okay.
Starting point is 02:55:25 The day of Mike Malott fighting in Canada. Did four-mileer today in 33 minutes. You know, a decent, like an okay pace. It was kind of tough up late last night, but that's all right. You just got to get it in. You got to get it in. Last Saturday, I did an 8-miler in an hour 7, which is a nice pace. Typical week.
Starting point is 02:55:49 Whoa, that's a fucking good pace. Good for you. It's a nice pace. It's a nice pace. I did a sub-34-mileer last week. My goal is to go sub-hour 45 at the time. the half marathon, which I think I can do. It's going to be like an 820-ish minute mile for 13 miles. Training is going good. I run three days a week. I'll do like alternate training every once in a while
Starting point is 02:56:11 if like my knees or my hip hurts or something like that. And then I lift three days a week the otherwise. I'm not like full bore just running training right now. I'm just kind of getting back in shape in the half marathon as like the end date on the running. But overall, it's going good. It's going good. I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good. Feeling real good. Well, eventually get to like an 11-mileer before the race. That'll probably be like my peak long run. I have done a half marathon before.
Starting point is 02:56:39 I've done a full marathon as well. So like not too, too worried about finishing, but... You don't have a time you're aiming for. But yeah, this time I got a time I'm aiming for and like, you just want to, you want to knock it out of the park on a nice crisp fall morning, go home, watch UFC Vancouver and or UFC Edmonton and college football all day.
Starting point is 02:56:59 I'm not a runner at all. There was one summer I locked in. I ran every day for a whole summer. Outside of that, I do not run. Never liked it. Just not my thing. You don't,
Starting point is 02:57:10 so you're not, you don't do like the long run as reps because you're going to like blow yourself out. Is that the, like, I do a long run once a week. And you're not supposed to do more than that
Starting point is 02:57:20 because then you're going to like wear down. It all depends. If you're training strictly. for running than like you need to be adding in interval training you need to be adding in sprints you need to like be super strict on mileage like there's a way to train just for running that's not what i'm doing i'm just training to run the half marathon in a decent amount of time uh and yeah i get i get not enjoying running i don't like the long runs i like every time i do one of these like over 10 miles i'm always just like yeah i just fucking hate running long distances i love like five 5K and just blow it out. Yeah. I want to be like dying at the end of three miles where I'm just like going as hard as possible. Got it.
Starting point is 02:58:02 Like going for a sub 25K is so much more enjoyable than me than running eight miles in an hour and 10 minutes. Yeah. Shout out to that ultra marathon runner in Miami. That dude's a savage, man. There's just some like people who just enjoy the pain of it all. I watched this girl who did the world marathon something where she did the seven marathon. Yeah, crazy. days on different continents like, like, fuck off.
Starting point is 02:58:25 Could never, could never. Yo, what's up, boys? This is the Gator calling from North Carolina Coast. Shout out. Just one to call in. I think I called about this last week, but I'm not sure I got played. Frank, you could play this one this week. That'd be great. But I just made me one to say,
Starting point is 02:58:42 I heard GC one time say on one of the watch parties, you guys do, like, who the fuck watches this back, you know, the day after or multiple days after. I'm actually one of those people. I, I, typically when I watch the feel, I'll listen to the commentary on the broadcast, and then I will go back
Starting point is 02:59:00 the next day or the week after and get through that four or five hour watch party. It's kind of like a rewatching a way. It's interesting to hear you guys reactions after the fact, kind of like see where we agree or disagree on how fighters were doing,
Starting point is 02:59:16 but... Yeah, sink it up with a couple fights. I'm a nerdy point here, but I wanted to say, do appreciate that, watch back, and appreciate all the work to ask you. So, thanks for the show and have a good week, guys. We appreciate you, man. Every time y'all say you appreciate us, we appreciate you
Starting point is 02:59:29 because we cannot do it without you tuning in. That's the whole point of all this. So thank you, brother. Thank you. Thank you for watching that back. That said, you are a sick fucking individual. Yeah. For watching back four or five hours of us after. Four five hours is crazy. Going back and watching a couple
Starting point is 02:59:45 fights is like respect. Like I get it. Like that's kind of fun to do. Yeah, going back four or five hours, you are a sicker. You're a sick fuck. But I love you for it. Love it for, brother. Thank you. Appreciate you, man.
Starting point is 02:59:58 Yo, boys in the back. Yep. It's Jimmer. What's up, brother? Jimmer. I've been real busy lately, guys. I've been, just went back to school, college for the first time in 10 years. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 03:00:12 Give it another go. Let's go. I've been working. I've been coached my little brother's soccer team, so I've been just a busy gym. She's killing it. I was wondering, yeah. Recently I have not felt like I've had the time to watch the episode,
Starting point is 03:00:29 to watch the whole week of shows, and it's really kind of been frustrating to me. I wish I had more time to dedicate to podcasts listening, but unfortunately that's just how life goes sometimes. But my question to you guys, is there a possibility that somebody on the team could do, like, a weekly supercut of the highlights of the show? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 03:00:52 just so I can feel like I'm caught up. It's really hard to go through all the live feeds and pick and choose just to find the... Here you guys is recap on stuff in your opinion. That's really what I want to find. Give me a fucking... I'd much as I would love to watch the whole show and listen to all the inside jokes.
Starting point is 03:01:09 Sometimes it's just not logistically possible when you have life going on. So anyways, I hope you guys don't think of me as a fake fan. I'm trying not to be, but yeah, I love you guys. Doos. Jim, you are absolutely not a fake fan. I mean, dude, we put out a fucking lot of content. Like, we, it's, I mean, this week alone, we're, like, we just surpass, like, what,
Starting point is 03:01:34 15 hours probably of content that we've put out, and then all the breakouts and everything that comes from that as well. So, like, of course you can't, like, listen to absolutely everything. You have a life of your own. There's no show that I could keep up with, like, this. Man, the idea of, like, a super highlight recap, like a 45 minutes of just bouncing around like the best moments. It would be incredible, but it takes a lot of work to like trim that down. It, we're just like, we're just
Starting point is 03:02:04 a small operation. That's the issue. We, we also only have so much time. Like, we're sitting in a control room or on this set, like we said, for 15 plus hours. Like, I mean, because any moment that we're on the air, we're obviously in the control room or or on this set. And then there's the before and the afters, you're adding that every day. It's like, it's like 20 hours of us, of us being in here. So, you know, by the time it gets the end of the week, putting together a super cut is, is just, it would just be difficult to do. I have a few things.
Starting point is 03:02:36 Because, man, it would be fucking great if it's just a quick bounce around, just the best mashup. Number one, congratulations, Jimmer. Yeah, he's doing some, I buried the lead. I buried the lead. Some great life shit. Actually, you know what? Fuck the recap.
Starting point is 03:02:51 You're out busy living life. You're saying you wish you had more time to dedicate to podcast listening? No, you're living so much life that you can't listen to podcast. You're one of those guys now, Jim. I don't have time, you know? How do these people find time to listen to the podcast? I was just going to say the same thing, which is basically like, I never want to say I'm happy that a listener can't listen or a viewer can't view,
Starting point is 03:03:16 but I'm always happy when the reason that they can is because they're out doing something fucking incredible. So we appreciate everybody who rocks with us every minute of every episode. And we appreciate the people who rock with us whenever they can check in because they're out doing other shit. We love you all. We appreciate you all. And I'm happy that you're able to do some other shit. And then number three, I have some semi good news for you.
Starting point is 03:03:38 Oh. Some semi good news. Oh. There is not going to be a, hey, this is the entire week condensed into a short amount of time recap. It's just, as you said, like the resources on that are very hard. part. But soon, at some point, very soon, there will be a version that is a recap of some parts of the show. There will be a version available somewhere that is some parts of the show, a best of sorts that is going to be coming out. And that will be a regular occurrence. So stay tuned for
Starting point is 03:04:12 that. There will be more info on that. Thank you. There will be more on that soon. And we'll We will tell you exactly how to get that and where it's going to be and all those things. And then who knows, maybe from there it turns into, okay, this is successful. Let's put more and more resources. And now we're recapping more and more and more. But we'll start with something that is not going to be exactly what you're asking for, but we'll be partially what you're asking for. And then maybe we can go from there.
Starting point is 03:04:38 So some semi good news for you coming soon, Jimmer. But yeah, good luck. Thank you for a rocket with us. Get that diploma and we'll talk soon. We live this life. So we know all the ends and outs and all the inside jokes and can explain everything. I can't imagine diving in and like people are like Ariel's tweeting like, where the fuck's my yogurt? Yeah.
Starting point is 03:04:58 We're just like, what are you talking about, dude? Lactose free. That's one of those you got to watch every minute. You got to watch every minute. Update on the girt gate. It doesn't look like we're going to be getting the tapes. The tapes are going to be hard to acquire. The tapes are going to be hard to acquire. Now it makes you wonder, there is big yogurt responsible for this and the thief.
Starting point is 03:05:17 in the end protecting himself Wait, are you blaming big yogurt Or you blaming a thief? Or is the thief part of big yogurt? Oh my lord How deep does this go? Somebody from big yogurt
Starting point is 03:05:32 snuck in Took it, hit it or ate it Or threw it out Do you even want to know? Oh my God How deep does it really go? That's the update. Another update eBay
Starting point is 03:05:44 Go get on the felt You only have till Monday Yes. All proceeds. You want a young J. Checks, Charity. Cancer Fighters and JJ Stars Foundation. Go bet on that. It's pinned in the chat right now.
Starting point is 03:05:55 Great cause. And yeah. I don't know how we're going to get to the bottom of this, yogurt. I think we need to do a documentary where Ariel interviews everybody who was there that day. Well, we're going to need the tapes to prove who was there that day. We need interrogation. Yeah. Look, I mean.
Starting point is 03:06:09 The only way out is through. Yeah. I got a whole lot of yoga. Private investigator. Private investigator, actual detective, right? Do we have to call the police? Is that where we've gone? Like, is that here?
Starting point is 03:06:20 Charges for this? I'm here to kick ass and eat yogurt. Should we just ask? And I'm all out of yogurt. And I just put it in the Slack channel, be like, hey, did someone eat a Faye yogurt on Tuesday after night? And then somebody just goes like, it was me. Oh, the lactose free with the honey? Yeah, I had that.
Starting point is 03:06:40 Because at the end of the day, even if we got to the bottom of it, I feel like it would just be someone being like, oh, you put it right next to the food spread. That's my mistake. Sorry about that, man. It's so much more funny when it's mysterious. I'm happy to reimburse you. Way to conclude that. You just put it next to the free food? The full spread, yeah.
Starting point is 03:06:59 Hey, here's food here. Yo, yo, I'm Shai from Sydney, Australia. What's up, Shai? So you guys got the Ireland line? Well, I don't even have a fight, man. But I do have my last amateur fight in four weeks, cardo fight, September 19. And I'm looking to get on board with you guys, too.
Starting point is 03:07:15 So let's get some patches sent over. Done. I don't know how we can do that, but yeah. And can we get a breakdown on Big Sexy versus Suzuki on the road to UFC this weekend? Thanks. Shut up. So about those patches. We're going to focus on that part.
Starting point is 03:07:32 International shipping should be no issue there. You got to email New York, Rick. You got to email. On the email on his social, four weeks. We could rush shipping. Can we make it? Can we make that? We got to try.
Starting point is 03:07:46 We got to try. Shai Shai, send me an email. It's in my ex-bio at New York, Rick. Send me an email and we'll try and figure this out. We would love to get some patches
Starting point is 03:07:58 going and support you and your last amateur fight, title fight. It's like Liam all over again. We're international. We're national. By the way, Liam is making his professional debut, I believe, in October. He announced that last week.
Starting point is 03:08:11 We're locked in. We're fucking locked in. Dial. That's going to be incredible. We'll have a private, watch party for it. We won't stream it, but we'll have a private watch for it. In terms of big sexy Joseph Lacernais, I probably butchered that. 6-0, 27 years old. Find out of Sydney, Australia. Big underdog
Starting point is 03:08:30 to Takaya Suzuki, 21-year-old on the road to UFC. So yeah, shout out to Igor MMA Academy. Matchup of the week, for sure. 24-inchubs here with a soundboard hot tape. The top three best soundboards. I remember. Tony Soprano won, Miss Cleo, Judge Judy. And the best part was on, like, E-Bomb's World and some of the other websites. Yeah. They would have recorded phone calls of people calling, like, Pizza Hut or Domino's,
Starting point is 03:09:06 or, like, Chinese restaurants out of, like, Arnold or Judge Judy or whatever, and they were just hysterical way back in the day. That was a great trip last episode down memory, shout out Rick. I'm out. Shout to Rick. 24-inch dubs. Is he a memory range? Yeah, memory range.
Starting point is 03:09:23 You know, you can just scroll down memory range. I'm out. Five. The leaving off Arnold is unforgivable. That was by far number one. There's no close second. I don't know who Ms. Cleo was. For real.
Starting point is 03:09:39 I mean, that makes sense. You never had, maybe that, was that regional? It was like a psychic hotline. Call me now for your free psychic reading. No. You've never seen that commercial. No. I've never seen. Is that possibly regional?
Starting point is 03:09:51 Is it possible? It's regional but also... I mean, do you know what movie phone is? Uh-huh. Oh, okay. Never mind. Wait, Frank. Where did you see Miss Cleo?
Starting point is 03:10:00 Did you see... You all throw junior high? I want to say. But in Texas, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Wow. Miss Cleo, generational. Holy shit.
Starting point is 03:10:10 I thought everybody knew Miss Cleo. She was the best. Shout out of Miss Cleo. Wait, actually, did she, like, do something bad and go to jail or something? I think they were like, is she really psychics? Ah, fuck. Shout out ish to Ms. Clio. Hey.
Starting point is 03:10:26 Don't forget about those big digs to the body, baby. Yeah. That's it? That's it. Hey. Don't forget about those big digs to the body, baby. Big digs of the body. That's all the voicemails.
Starting point is 03:10:42 All right. Thank you so much for calling on. Can't tell you how much we appreciate it. Thank you so much for the voicemails. Good, no, without you. two last bits of things here. I'm seeing Usman or Magamatta came out and said that
Starting point is 03:10:53 he's unimpressed with the lightweight roster in the UFC. Oh my God. So it's just a bunch of top tenors fighting other top tenors. This feels... Chandler's top 15. Pemblet lost to a 37-year-old veteran. Deporia was praising himself, sat down on his stool and said, I'm not continuing.
Starting point is 03:11:09 Armin lost to Gamrod four years ago. And Islam, like eight years ago. Okay, two things I have to say about this. number one this this usman to UFC Phil is like the most foregone conclusion of all foregone conclusions yeah the most obvious
Starting point is 03:11:23 number two I'm not saying it's the same and I'm not saying he's this person but just careful your patchy mixing mind your peas and cues because patchy mix is the number one
Starting point is 03:11:39 band away in his mind talking all that shit about all these guys respond to Magamato has been patchy mix careful just careful it's careful you're setting
Starting point is 03:11:49 Ex-P-E-B. It does Usman no good to be like, this guy sucks, this guy sucks, this guy sucks, this guy sucks. Then you come in and you look pedestrian against them even if you win, and it's like, didn't you say that motherfucker sucks? Called them all bums. You called them all bums, and now you're
Starting point is 03:12:05 going to 29, 28 fights with them. It's like, careful. Just ease up a little bit. Just ease up. And then Josh Hokit, quote, tweeted Tom Aspenal's announcement, said, Tom, I would like to focus in on the part that says, we are talking with the UFC daily. Why would you be talking to them
Starting point is 03:12:21 daily? And who is we? You have a contract. I'd fight you tomorrow so opponents aren't the problem. In June you started training. Tell us what the problem is, Tom. It is a decent point. We're talking with the UFC daily. There's no chance. Hockett has got his fucking foot on Tom's neck. I can tell
Starting point is 03:12:36 him what the problem is. He got poked in the eye and he has a hard time seeing. That's the problem. Thanks, John. I know, but Hokit's point is like, you ain't good to go? step aside. I'm good to go. I guess that is...
Starting point is 03:12:51 I'm good to go. That is the question he's asking. He's saying, what's the problem, man? If you can't fight, let me fight, let me fight. He's not going to give this up either. He's not going to give this up.
Starting point is 03:13:01 We have any super chat. He's playing it perfectly. Aussie Strike says, can you please briefly share some tips on analytics and driving traffic to the website? Thank you in advance. Fuck, thank you for the Australian $10. I don't know.
Starting point is 03:13:17 Asking the wrong ones. Yeah, wrong woman. We don't know anything about websites and traffic. Shaheen Al-Shadi, editor-in-chief of Uncrowned, is an incredible site manager. Yeah, maybe see if you can connect with him on LinkedIn. He'd be a guy for that. Unfortunately, I'm sorry that super chat money that you spent was two non-experts on... Thanks for the town of Australia.
Starting point is 03:13:38 Yeah. Website's not my thing. Chewstar, getting married tomorrow. Whoa, congrats. Congratulations. Congratulations. On our honeymoon. Oh, don't do that.
Starting point is 03:13:49 Quick way to a divorce. Watching the fight back from a luxury hotel in London before flights. Fucking hell, you're a diehard man. Coo it up for one week and enjoy the honeymoon with your wife, brother. No, no, tune in. Lock in. He's already dead. If you're in Porto, though, on your honeymoon, please go to Grams.
Starting point is 03:14:07 They were very good to us. They sent us some balls of port, and they're big fans of our program and the UFC, so give them some love. Who's the guy, Santiago or something? Ooh. You just fucking put a knife in Jordan's head. You're like, who's the guy? He doesn't remember. And it's like, now he's screwed.
Starting point is 03:14:27 Graham was his name or Graham was the name of the place? No, Graham's is the name of the place. Yeah. Jordan doesn't remember his name. So that was, that was rough. That was rough. This nice guy. I know it.
Starting point is 03:14:38 I know it. It is? You just don't want to dox him. I don't want to dox him. I like that. I like that. And his name, by the way, is Felipe. Felipe, Felipe.
Starting point is 03:14:46 Felipe. The desperate scramble to find that. was something to behold. We appreciate Felipe, yeah, he's the man. Lock in on your honeymoon. With us. Without the sex. Without the sex.
Starting point is 03:14:58 With the sex. With the sex. With the sex. With the sex. Belaw's fight this weekend. Belaw Hassan. Not Bilal Hussein. I mean, not for nothing.
Starting point is 03:15:10 Bilal Hassam might have some... Without the sex on that one. Without the sex on that one. Some things that are swirling around Yeah, I need more info on this MJPson. I need to understand this a little better. I need to understand this a little. It's kind of taking them down a couple knots.
Starting point is 03:15:27 All right. What's the next one? Next is, life is good today. Life is good today. Frank, what's some good new music you're listening to? Loving the new Queens of the Stone Age and Mastodon singles. That's cool. I've been listening to S. English and sheet noise on the Long Island electrical systems records.
Starting point is 03:15:50 You should check it out. I like how this guy's like, I like these. Frank goes, that's cool. I love how I like the names of the bands that Frank listens to. It sounds like two words mashed together. What did you say sheet? Sheet noise.
Starting point is 03:16:06 Yeah, sheet noise. You going to see Dinosaur Jr. this weekend? I got canceled. Oh, fuck. Bella losing got her way more exposure than winning. Back to the music You know who is going to a concert this weekend?
Starting point is 03:16:22 Andy. Yeah, I'm going to go see Melt. Yeah, Bowie Ball. Shout to our guy James Turner. James Turner, the drummer for Mel. Wait, what? I don't know, Frank did that. Why did we cue that?
Starting point is 03:16:35 It's all good, Frank. Stealing his shine. It's all good. Shout out to James Turner, drummer for Melt, who's always been very kind to us. Every time they're in town, he tries to get us out there. Yes, Andy is going to the Melt Show
Starting point is 03:16:46 at Bowery Ballroom. If you're in the area, go. Go. Go. Support. Go to Bowery Ballroom. It's going to be sick. Melt is great. They're a great band. Seriously, it's amazing. Hell yeah. Let's go. Love you, James. Appreciate you, James. Have a good show, man. Bella losing
Starting point is 03:17:04 got her way more exposure than winning would have. Also, better to lose in the Dana White Contender series than UFC proper. One might say best case scenario. There it is. I feel like, you tell me if you agree. You Tell me if you agree.
Starting point is 03:17:19 Yeah. I feel like there's something. There's a momentum. A best case scenario momentum. The best case scenario momentum is picking up steam. There's a lot. People start losing and then like, you know what? Sean Brady yesterday on the show, he's talking about the Bellarmier loss.
Starting point is 03:17:32 He's like, I saw you guys talking about it. This is the best thing that could have. Like, there's a wave. There's a wave. There's a wave of the best case scenario momentum. I would argue a little bit that like she got way more exposure for losing. than she did for winning. If she had gone in there and mauled the girl in 30 seconds,
Starting point is 03:17:53 they would be like, Frank Mears' daughter is here. National Championship pedigree in the wrestling wants to compete in the Olympics, Zufa Boxing Championships, UFC BJJ championships, and she's already steamrolling the competition on the way to the UFC. Like, she would have gotten a decent amount of love. Also, this exposure is fraud, loser, negative. I understand more people who are becoming familiar with her, but like, yeah, I'll put her to go out of sleep.
Starting point is 03:18:18 Probably would have been better if you want. Probably would have been better. Best case. Best case. I don't have any other argument. It's best case. BCS. He ain't talking college.
Starting point is 03:18:28 The merch, the best case scenario, merch would be incredible. Like what? Best case scenario and it's a guy who just got hit by a car. It's the most tragic shit. Honestly, towers falling. It's fucking like what kind of shit?
Starting point is 03:18:39 Jesus. It's an anniversary. I'm a New Yorker. I'm allowed. It's like the guy, there's like a motivational speaker guy and like he's just like, oh, it's raining. I've forgotten umbrella, good.
Starting point is 03:18:51 Like, oh, I got on the highway. Yeah, the traffic, good. Us instead, instead of just being like, good. It's just like, no matter what goes wrong, it's like, best case scenario. Got tax evasion, good. It's a life lesson. I'll learn. Crawling in the dark one night, kiss my mom's ass,
Starting point is 03:19:10 best case scenario. Who knows? Scenario. Buddy needs to drink more water. Yeah. Yeah. I killed this thing. Cramms wrong.
Starting point is 03:19:19 I've been drinking a lot of gatorade to try and get those electrolytes in. I guess I got to get more. I got to get more. A little salt, a little lemon. No chalmaine is criminal. It's goaded. We didn't. Frank, you had another.
Starting point is 03:19:34 I had chalman, thanks. Oh, he had chalmaine, yeah, yeah, yeah. People just chime in. People love, dude, people love chiming in on a pound for pounds to be like, you forgot this. And it's like, no, we actually didn't. Yeah, he had it. Yep. Or we literally honorably mentioned it, like, right afterward.
Starting point is 03:19:49 Yep. He had it. Boy, succulent Chinese meal crossed with mango beef bit was fire. However, that much stout equals strangling out a high-risk black anaconda on the porcelain throne the next morning. Bodies on the line, as always. James, that's a crazy message. But yeah, sure. Go back, go back, go back. I want to see it.
Starting point is 03:20:13 High-risk black anaconda. Strangling out a high-risk black anaconda on the porcelain. on the porcelain throne. That's some Pizzi shit right there. Like Pizzi would have said something like that. $30 million for the kitchen. What was the one that Pizzi said? Somebody texted me.
Starting point is 03:20:28 Vege and meeting two veg. Oh yeah. Gabe texted us about the meat and two veg. The meat and two veg. Yeah. James, I mean, that's inspired stuff. Strangling out the black anaconda. That was all of them.
Starting point is 03:20:42 Thank for the Super Chats. Thank you for the voice message. Thank you for tuning in. We very much appreciate it. That's going to do it for us. UFC Shanghai this weekend, Moses Atama, BKFC Fenway. Crazy. Mayor Cameron.
Starting point is 03:20:57 Danis Perry. Didn't think you'd be saying that one. Make sure to tune in to The Crack tomorrow. Bit on the eBay in the chat. Have yourself a great weekend, folks. It's going to do us for us here on the boys. Until next time. I don't know
