Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome back to the basement. Welcome back to the basement yard. Frank's got a sick jacket on. Look at that. Daddy, daddy's got it. This is what happens when you start to make some money and you see something cool. You bought that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:22 I didn't know if you like, it was like a PR package or something. Oh, no. If I start getting PR packages like this, I'll be very excited about it. How much was the jacket? Doesn't that matter? To me? You know. I know.
Starting point is 00:00:36 What is it? Just tell me if I'm higher than lower than 200. Lower. Oh. So it's not bad. That's why I bought it. I was like, damn,
Starting point is 00:00:42 that's cheap. Why are you looking it up like that? That's so quick. That's so quick. Oh yeah, there it is. How much is she? 150.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Yeah. It's nice. Yeah. I mean, and it's pretty honestly good. When I saw it, I was like, it's 150.
Starting point is 00:00:55 Can't be good material. Pretty good material. Pretty sturdy. The embroidery is actually real. It's not like screened. Right. You know, I'm not there.
Starting point is 00:01:03 I'm taking no money off me doing this, I guess. And it's your favorite color. It is my favorite color, and it's my favorite iteration of Spider-Man. Which one? The 90s show. Oh. Sinister Six? They were in the show.
Starting point is 00:01:16 I'm saying it looks like that's who it is. I mean, there's only three of them on each. It's the big three. What's on the back? Spider-Man? Oh. Yeah. You didn't watch that show?
Starting point is 00:01:27 I did. That show was so good! I liked the video game too. Fox 5 in the morning, dude. You know, imagine you could just fucking Dude, I would fucking go off. Did you ever, like, recently look up, like, 1990, let's say 1997, the, like, Saturday morning Fox 5 lineup? It was just fucking banger after, banger after, banger after banger after banger after banger.
Starting point is 00:01:48 I love how you asked me if I randomly have looked up that lately. Fox kids, Fox kids, fox kids. Dude, just like an absolute abundance of heat. Like, now kids, what are they watching now? Don't like all right so let's look at never heard of any of that. Yeah, those kind of suck. Yeah, I don't know what the fuck that is Maybe look up 98 or 96 there was one year maybe I'm off on the year, but there was one year. It was just like oh shit I can't see you're starting to get there now we're talking power Rangers or spider man let's look at this 8 a m Bobby's world Fuck is that you remember Bobby's world a little kid riding the tricycle? No that was that believe it that
Starting point is 00:02:28 That show holds a special place in my heart because I watched it as a kid and That's like the first thing Becca and I ever talked about. Bobby's World? Yeah. That was the first conversation? Roughly, yeah. She had like posted like a clip from it. And like she was like, what shows us from?
Starting point is 00:02:46 And I responded, Bobby's World. And then look at us now. Wow. So it's Bobby's World. It's due to Bobby. There you go. Bobby gets all the credit. 830, Casper and or Power Rangers.
Starting point is 00:02:57 So if it's 1996, it's probably Power Rangers. I never, you know I never, watched it. I never watched Power Rangers growing up. Crazy, dude. I wasn't born yet. That's outrageous. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Wasn't born yet. Where were you were? Born 97? 97. So your parents might have saw this in the morning and said like, we need to get going. Yeah. It's possible. Mr.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Sexy legs, you saw the Power Rangers Zio was on. Yeah. Let's go and get to it. I'm sure they saw a Sea Bear and Jamal and really, really went on. Yeah, that one I don't know. But then Power Rangers are Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:03:29 That was the Spider-Man I'm referencing. I was so good. I don't remember. remember this at all? You remember the Spider-Man? Spider-Man. When you're a wank-name Spider-Man. It was fucking cool, dude. I wish I could be like a...
Starting point is 00:03:43 Or I wish that superheroes were real. Like, I wish there were other people... No, mad no. Mad, no. I mean, you're jaded by the, by like, the... Well, because it... But, yeah. So, like, I mean, the natural dichotomy of life, if they are heroes, there shall be villains. Eh. I mean, we've seen enough context to be like,
Starting point is 00:04:01 it's good, it's not. Yeah, you know what I? I mean because I wish that people could fly. I wish I had a boy who was just like, yo, I could just fly at your crib. So why don't you just say I wish I could fly? Why do why does the whole world need to have heroes? I don't need necessarily. I mean, I do wish that. But like, they just say that. Okay. You know, the whole world doesn't need to be a superhero. Just like, do you trust yourself? I'm not saying the whole world. I'm saying I wish there were some people that could do shit like that. Yeah, but if there are some, that means there will be more and then that's scary. Why? Because that means the Joker's running around and he just does like crazy shit. No, not necessarily. You know? You'll wake up one morning and you'll just be like, oh, it's a peaceful day. Nope, the Joker's release a toxin in the water that's going to make everyone turn into a fucking joke. First of all, the Joker isn't even a superhero.
Starting point is 00:04:41 He has no power. He's just a guy. I mean, but his superpower is his villainy. That's all criminals. No, not necessarily. He's like up there. He like gets after. Because he lives in a fake world where he's able to pull off all these schemes and not get caught.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Or maybe he lives in a very real world. Well, I have a question. Would you consider Batman a superhero? Got him. Got him so fucking good. God damn it. Would you consider Iron Man a superhero? First of all, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:07 What do you mean? No, I actually think that I would consider Batman as a superhero. Okay. So, but I, he's using the logic. Because he can create these things where you're like flying and whatever. He's using the logic against you. We're like Batman can create these things and become Batman. Joker can create chaos and become the Joker.
Starting point is 00:05:22 They both don't, none of those people he mentioned have a traditional superpower. But if, if you are, if you can create a suit, that will, you're allowed to fly into outer space, that is a superhero to me. And you can blow shit up with your hand. I mean, but, I mean, Joker is considered like the super villain of the DC universe. So like, I know, but he's at the end of the day,
Starting point is 00:05:48 he's just a dude. He doesn't have anything spectacular. Same, same with, same with, uh, a Batman and, uh, Bruce, no, because they have something, they have something that makes them, like, exceptional. Joker does too. It's his exceptional.
Starting point is 00:06:02 bad guyness. But my point is like that's not realistic because he would just get caught. Yeah. And then he could figure out a way to get himself out. He can make everyone fall in love with him. He's very charismatic. I mean, look what he did to Harleen Quinzel. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:17 I mean, that's same logic. I hear what you're saying. Iron Man can't exist, but Joker could exist today. Maybe Iron Man could exist. I was going to say, I think Iron Man, we're getting there. Probably, yeah. There's a couple of Joker's on TikTok already, honestly. What's that mean?
Starting point is 00:06:32 Yeah, what does that mean? Just a few guys that dress up as the Joker and running around. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So stupid. Yeah, but they're not, you know. They're not. They're not. Hey, God.
Starting point is 00:06:40 And let's not motivate them. Let's not give them any, like, attention. What I'm surprised about is we don't have just more masked vigilantes running around beating up people. I'm surprised we don't have more of that. Well, vigilanteism is a legitimate crime. Right. You just wish they were like, don't you wish criminals who had a nickname? A lot of them have
Starting point is 00:07:03 Son of Sam But that's not even like a thing anymore Oh I mean thank God I know I'm not saying I'm not I mean I think that they're like modern like Serial killers do have nicknames Do they? Yeah like it I mean I don't think
Starting point is 00:07:18 But do they call themselves that or is they like I mean I'd be embarrassing You know what I mean like you don't like if you You can't lead with your nickname But you know what I mean if there was some guy like on the news getting arrested He's like, you can't do this. I'm the juggler. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, that would be, everyone would look at that.
Starting point is 00:07:32 I'd be like, that's cringe. I know, but like. That's super cringe. But it would make it more fun for, I mean, don't do crime. I mean, we do need more, like, videos of when criminals are arrested and, like, a camera in their face. And they're just like, I would have gotten away with it, too. If it wasn't for you meddling authorities. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:49 You know, like that, that seems fun to me. You ever see the dude who's getting arrested? It's like, don't touch my penis. Uh-oh, I thought you were talking about like, oh, because I had a meal. A succulent male? Same guy. Is it him? Same video. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:08:02 don't touch my penis. Yeah, I've seen that one. Then I don't remember the penis part of it all. He says he gets to grab his penis. Oh, well, I mean, I would. Iconic video. That's a good. There's like, did you ever see like the, like the, what's it called?
Starting point is 00:08:17 Not Harvey Lee Oswald. Who was the guy that took, uh, allegedly took down JFK? That was him. That was Harvey Lee Oswald? Lee Harvey. Lee Harvey Oswald. That's right. That's right. John,
Starting point is 00:08:30 I was confusing him with John Wilkes Booth. That's Abe. That is Abe. But did you ever see the video of him getting got? Yeah. That's crazy, dude. Yeah, yeah. That shit is crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:39 The guy just turns around and pop, pop, you know? There was a story that I saw, I'm going to start off with this, I guess, murder. But there was a story about a guy who was getting, like, extradited from somewhere and, like, flew on a plane. and I believe what happened is he like essayed some kid and then when he was walking through the airport the kid's father was like on the phone and just turn around and shot him in the head. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Yeah, heavy. I don't know if I said that into the microphone but I'm just saying. Yeah. Where do we go from there? We can't go anywhere from there. Where do we go from there? I'm feeling it. Just Spider-Man to that.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Turn all the lights down low. I'm feeling it. Remember that song? Blinkin 82, of course. Was that Blinkwint 82? Yeah. Dags. George had the line mine need for summer.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Blink 182 times. Count. All right. If you think that's what we're going to go with, I just can't. I was kidding. I remember I did that. That was one of the first lines that Francisco put in one of his original poems.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Do you remember that? How could I forget? You forgot. No, I know. Oh, okay. Yeah, it was like blink 182 times. Yeah. Isn't that weird that how much that video has stuck around?
Starting point is 00:10:04 Bro, in that video, when we put it out, it like did fine. But it didn't like go crazy. It went. It is, it is lasted. It just aged. It has lasted the test of time. People like it. It's like to this day, people still like, what are we getting Slam Poetry 5?
Starting point is 00:10:18 I know. It's crazy. I don't know how that happened. Because like I said, we put it out and maybe it got like 200,000 views, which was good. And then now it's probably gotten higher, but like, it's not like it has a million. of views, but it really hits with people. Do the second and subsequent one, the third one, end up doing better? I haven't even, I mean, that's been so long, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I wonder, you know, the people, there's a yearning for art. There's a yearning for slam. You're really teeing this up. No, I'm not teeing them anything. There's nothing being teed. I know, but it sounds like. There's nothing being teed. I remember what I, your poems, I was like, damn, those are like legitimately good, like, many songs.
Starting point is 00:10:57 I the first one I wrote a poem about like manatees no no or yeah it was about love or something my love's like the ocean it's deep and there's manatees yeah
Starting point is 00:11:08 I don't know but that was mad fun to film that was that was I remember the original idea we had was like let's try to go to a slam poetry night and see if we can like go up there and pull off saying one and like see if people will be like
Starting point is 00:11:23 oh okay but it just turned into 1.7 1.2 than 1.6. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. That's way more than I thought. I haven't looked in a while. Wow.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Never mind. You were there for the third one. I was. It was the early days of aunt. Yeah, 2022. Wow. I was a year in. I've been here for a while.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Yeah, you got to go. Yeah. I'll make my way out. All right, take it easy. Yeah, see you later. All right, bud, you got to go. You're not tenured. I hear you're going on a road trip.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Taking a little road trip soon. You know, a little. spooky Halloween road trip. Oh, it's a themed one? Are you going to like haunted spooky stuff? I am actually. Wait, really? Yeah, I'm not psyched about it. But I think did I tell you? I think you might have told us. I were going, me and Nicole are going to Salem, but she's really into ghosts and shit. So she wants to do like a ghost tour. She believes in all that stuff. Um, you know, I think it's funny. I asked her the other day if she did and she was like, I don't know. And she just finds it interesting. She just finds it interesting, but doesn't have like she's not on one side of the fence.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Yeah, and it's like, on the off chance that this is a thing, I'm going to bump into a book, it's going to open, and then it's going to be attached to me now. Oh, you know what I mean? I would love to, like, be like, psychically linked to a book. What? Like, I'm thinking of hocus pocus, how it's his, you know, like, there's like, the book is like the spell book and they can, she can, like, feel it and stuff. Yeah, I just, like, I get scared. What are you going to do it? Not really.
Starting point is 00:12:53 I mean, I'm going to, we're going to find out. I mean, obviously that's, you know, it's Salem. So, like, the witch trial. and all that type of shit. The actual dark part of it all. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The actual set. There's a memorial there.
Starting point is 00:13:04 Yeah, which there should be more of. This feels like a place easily haunted. You're going to bring something back. Yeah. I'll be honest with you. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a little bit of a haunt going on here. Why? What's going on?
Starting point is 00:13:18 We lose power. That was one time. The water is randomly green. That is actually strange. Now you bring it up. You know, there's random poppies. and creaking in a I don't know how old this building
Starting point is 00:13:31 is. It's a new building. Any place with a mannequin kind of has a chance? We can get rid of the mannequin. I don't think I've been here in like the night night. Oh, it is pitch black. Really? Nothing. Pitch. Can't see nothing. Really? I call the elevator first because I'm scared. Yeah, it's pitch black. That bad? It's pitch black.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Because you think about it like we have this all blacked out obviously. That I know. But like that over there, is there no light that comes in through there? No, because it doesn't face it. the street. Like travels. It does, but it's, it's dark. What if there's a full moon?
Starting point is 00:14:04 I imagine it comes through those windows pretty cool. And you're under it like a werewolf. You're just like turning. That'd be fire. I actually had like, when I was younger, I wanted to turn into something. Like I would stand outside during a full moon and be like, yo, I wish like my hair would grow. You would be staring at my arm. You would like look at your arm just to like see if you can like trigger it or something.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Yeah, I'm like, does it? Would you rather turn into? Would you rather be, one of these classic movie monsters, would you rather be? A werewolf? Yeah. A mummy or Frankenstein's monster. Or, or a vampire. Vampire's cheating.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Get that out of there. Why is that cheating? Because the answer is so unbelievably vampire. I mean, where would it be? Pretty close, brother. First of all, werewolf is my answer. What do you mean vampire? And also, werewolf, you live half of your day as a regular person.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Right. Why would you want to be a werewolf? Why would you want to be a fucking dramatic vampire? You know how good it probably feels to run? I can be happy. You know how good it probably feels to run on all four in a in like a forest or a wooden area of some sort just fucking book in it oh that probably feels really good yeah you're an animal
Starting point is 00:15:07 that you can't control what you're doing you're going outside you most where else you can't control what you're doing you can't go outside vampire it's a cloudy outside there's overcast I could go no no no too much UV during the day not none of that cloudy shit I know they I know we're not going twilight rules okay no they could just go outside that's great an umbrella umbrella you're not familiar. Also, they're just like, the hairline.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Forget about the hairline of it all, the having to feed on human blood of it all. That's disgusting. And I'm not like super like skeved out by blood. I think you're more than I am, but like... Drinking the blood is insane. And not just drinking it.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Like, that is the only sustenance that you can obtain. So like, you're not drinking it like a cup an hour, like you do with a cup of water. It's like you need to have a good amount to feel satiated. Also, you'll probably be out with me in the woods killing animals for blood.
Starting point is 00:16:00 So you might as well be a werewolf. There's blood bags, blood banks. I don't got to chew on people. You're just going to establish that you're somehow going to get your way into a blood bank instead of where it's supposed to go, which is to people needing transfusions. He's got to live.
Starting point is 00:16:15 Yeah, I've got to live too. Or maybe I'll just go feed on people now and then, but like I won't. Wait, what is the rationale for saying that vampire's, like, head and shoulders better than all the rest of them? It's just cooler. And I get a castle? I mean, but you guys get a dog house?
Starting point is 00:16:29 No one said that that part of it. No, I never said that like, you're going to get all of this traditional stuff that comes along with a vampire. Why are vampires like, loaded? Like, why do they have just like... Because the idea is like they've been around for so long, so they've been around 500 years and they've just built generational wealth. The S&P is just always...
Starting point is 00:16:46 They invested in the very first stock ever fucking created. In 200 years, I'll be fine. You guys are going to be like... First of all, you age faster dog years. That's probably a thing. But I don't. I don't. I've not seen that.
Starting point is 00:16:58 I don't. I don't. I don't. I mean, no, you don't also. Like, yeah. You, it seems like the normal life expectancy for a werewolf is pretty standard with, like, our life expectancy. I, one thing that I will say is, you just, like, you, probably have to buy a bunch of clothes
Starting point is 00:17:14 because you're going to, like, rip out of them. That sucks. You're going to smell like dog. I mean, if anything. Just when I'm a dog. If anything. No, it sticks. If anything, you.
Starting point is 00:17:24 Like, you won't, you're not becoming the Hulk. You're just becoming a werewolf style version of yourself. So, like, you could look up, look up like Benicio del Toro werewolf. Look up that from the movie. Like, he just had the same size. I mean, if you added a bunch of dog hair to me, basically, like, it's going to stretch out my shirt. But it's not going to, like, it just... Dude, look at the size of his fucking head.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Yeah, but, like, the rest of his body is normal size. Look at it. Look at the clothes. They're ripped, Frank. Are they ripped? I can't tell. Definitely stretched. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:58 But that's cool. I mean, it would be, I imagine it would be really, really, I'm just thinking of the whole like frolicing through an open field underneath a full moon. And also, it's got to be a full moon, which happens, what, for three days every month? Yeah. So, like, you live a fairly normal lifestyle. But I can also, like, if someone really fucks with me, I can beat that shit out of my I think we're in a full moon right now.
Starting point is 00:18:22 So I could be a werewolf. I'd rather be that, though. I just use... What's the worst one time in my human existence, probably ever again, I've actually used the moon phase on my watch. There you go. To figure out if it's a full moon.
Starting point is 00:18:34 What's the worst one? I mean, this is easy. I would say the mummy. Trash. Trash. Brought, you're sandy and dusty all the time. And like, what's underneath those... Like, you have to keep those rags on you.
Starting point is 00:18:46 Yeah, and it's like, you can't even see. Which mummy am I? You're not like, emo-tep. Damn it. Okay. That would be... Who's emotep? From the mummy.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Remember this guy? guy. You know that guy. Oh. Emotep. Oh, yeah, but also whack. No, no, no, no, he's got some cool shit going on. He, like, regenerates and shit. He can turn into back to normal if he eats all the people. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm talking, like, the traditional, like, I'm wrapped up.
Starting point is 00:19:14 Yeah, you're wrapped up and, you're, like, you got a limb bandages and shit like that. Yeah, like, you can't really walk too fast. Yeah, like, this is, this is. Well, like, how they walk in that movie, remember that Disney movie under wraps? No That this is what I imagine Or the guy from Beetlevorgs Yeah
Starting point is 00:19:31 You're something like this Which is whack Trash You're also just decomposing And you're trying to like Cover yourself up Because you look like shit And you probably smell like fucking shit too
Starting point is 00:19:40 Honestly being Frankenstein is probably ass too No I imagine that's cool You're only afraid of fire Guess what I'm already afraid of it Yeah but you also have like bolts In the side of your head You walk heel to toe
Starting point is 00:19:50 That's annoying as hell Who the fuck like someone does that? No one said that you had to keep the gate of Frankenstein's No, you have to keep the gate. You could figure out like the whole like, oh no, my arm fell off, I'll just pop a new one back on. Is he regenerative in that way? I mean,
Starting point is 00:20:04 you can just sew it back on, right? Like, there's, like, you can... No, he's a mess. He's a guy's strong as a motherfucker. I'll tell you that. He's like a human quilt. He's just, like, held together by like, just... It's insane. He's also, like, dead. Yeah. I mean, he, but he's alive.
Starting point is 00:20:20 He's strong and he's big, and he's got a suit on. He's strong as shit. I will say, like, the whole like having to I like figure out my own that's Jacob Allorty can I say something the Jacob all Lordy Frankenstein is ass oh I didn't finish it no no not the movie like the design design is so whack I don't hate it I hate it I don't I'm not like one of those people I just don't don't think it's like very interesting or cool you know it's a good Frankenstein do you remember the Van Helsing movie Frankenstein that's a good Frankenstein speaking of Van Helsing when I was younger, I would have done
Starting point is 00:20:56 insane shit to have a crossbow. Oh. So, so, so, so, so. Oh, my God, I want one. I mean, that one also just didn't make sense because, like, it was like a machine gun crossbow. Like, I kind of, fire shit. I liked, I liked the, like, you know, a legit crossbow.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Van Halseeing was sick. And he also had a cool hat. He also yelled like this. I. You remember that? Also, when dudes... It's a cool Frankenstein. Look up the best Frankenstein designs.
Starting point is 00:21:21 The, the, when dudes could wear... French coats and make them look cool and they had weapons in their coats. I was like, oh, like a duster? Yeah, like a leather duster. I assume that anyone who has a jacket on like that has like a shotgun underneath it. Yeah, or watches. Like you remember those ones where they like open it up and be like you want to buy a counterfeit watch?
Starting point is 00:21:40 I mean, that's if they have like the, also if it's if it's like beige, this is a flasher. Yeah, he's naked under that. Yes, correct. Do we have any other Frankenstein designs? Not really. It's fine. We know what they look like. The old one was the cool.
Starting point is 00:21:54 The Basil, Basil Carlo, is that who that is? Classic. Yeah, that's a good Frankenstein. Or is Karloff. Excuse me. I like that. Basil Carlo. I think that's Clayface.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Whatever. Speaking of, that movie looks good. We'll talk about that another time. Frankenstein, you're talking shit about it. Honestly, I wouldn't hate Frankenstein as much. This would be fucking awesome. The Van Helsing Werewolf is sick. Yeah, that's what I'm trying to be.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Yeah. Also, that was like, from what I remember, a decent video game. I never played. It was like the movie tie-in game. PlayStation 2? I played it. Oh, the other one is the Invisible Man. That'd be cool. Yeah, but like,
Starting point is 00:22:35 then I have to like put on like a face wrap or a mask or something. Why do you need to know where you are? Well, I need to know where I be, but I'm saying like other people. But that's the whole point of being the Invisible Man. You don't want people. I'd like other people to see me for who I really am.
Starting point is 00:22:51 Does the Invisible Man have the option to turn it on and off? No. That sucks. The Invisible Man has become a You don't remember the movie Hollow Man? Starring Kevin Bacon. What's the one
Starting point is 00:23:02 with, what's her name? Oh, the Invisible Man. Yeah, yeah. With Elizabeth Moss. Elizabeth Moss. Yeah, that movie was good, brother. Let's get something out of the way. She's getting killed by this guy. Yeah. There's no way that she's throwing that paint and knows where he is. This is crazy.
Starting point is 00:23:19 Well, I mean, first of all, that movie is kind of a, it's like a commentary carry on like, you know, like the whole like gaslighting, you know, thing and how he's like doing that because he's like fucking with her basically. Yeah. What other movie monsters are there? Swamp thing.
Starting point is 00:23:36 No, sorry. It's not swamping. It's the creature of the Black Lagoon. I, you know, no, fuck that actually. Being under the water all that time. In a swamp? You were considering this? I was just because you would swim really fast, but then I'm like, yeah, you're living
Starting point is 00:23:54 down there with all this shit. no I'm good I'm super good dude is there any like what were you like really afraid of when you were younger like a monster or something like when you went to sleep
Starting point is 00:24:06 what did you think was gonna get you um a few things so I remember we had a bunk bed and I used to crawl like climb very fast up the ladder of the bunk bed because I was afraid that ghost face was going to grab my foot ghost face killer from the Wooten clan no I would be honored if ghost face
Starting point is 00:24:21 killer came into my room and grabbed my foot no ghost face from screen and then there were two monsters from Are You Afraid of the Dark? One was the episode I've told you about famously The ghastly Grinner And the other one was, it was like, honestly It was kind of like a swamp thing like monster
Starting point is 00:24:40 It was in like a school pool It was an ugly motherfucker. I was really afraid of like skeletons Like I thought that skeletons were like bones Like I know that bones are real Bones are dead ass real So I'm like, yeah if they came to life and fucking
Starting point is 00:24:56 like they're just like I just don't like a skull's face. Yeah, this guy, the tail of the dead man's float. This shit fuck me up as a kid. Yeah, I mean that's horrific. Yeah, I don't like that at all. And then the ghastly grinner is the other one. Yeah, the ghastly grinner is a scary one too. That was, I mean, but like, and then when I was like, bro, not I think about it, we were early watching, oh my God, yo, that is terrifying.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Yeah. Yeah, it's not great either. We were like young watching horror movies. I remember at the lakehouse watching them and being like eight or nine and Espo would always like in the middle of the night walk back to his cabin and like,
Starting point is 00:25:34 because he was like I couldn't I couldn't fuck with this shit. But like we were watching that. He doesn't. We were watching like Jason Voorhees. You know, I was going to say Freddie Mercury. That's scary to some people. Freddie Mercury.
Starting point is 00:25:47 The thing that would get me to and Keith, I know Keith is like terrified but like religious stuff so like the exorcism shit like exorcist was a big one that I was like oh this is real like I like really thought oh you believe in that stuff well not now but like I believed I guess I don't even know because they do them like they do exorcisms I know I I I've never seen I would have to be in the room for a real one you know what I mean to like even them though I'd be like but it was even like when O's was here I was just like I didn't believe it and then I saw it
Starting point is 00:26:20 I was like, fucking, whoa, dude. But, like, if I saw an exorcism going on and, like, they're, like, tied down. Like, no, the God, the God's in me. Like, Adele's in me. I would need to, I'm not believing in exorcism unless, unless there is a visible, like, pitch change in a voice. And a throwing up of, like, a violent throwing up. Like, if, if they're, like, talking like this, and then the next time they're, like, I would need to, like, see that voice come out of something that, like. Wouldn't your life just be completely altered after that?
Starting point is 00:26:46 Yes. Yes, it would. He's so scared. I've thought about that. If exorcism was real? If something were to happen that were to make me find God tomorrow and become like a hyper, like, born again Christian or, you know, whatever, this show would be violently different.
Starting point is 00:27:05 Yeah. Yeah. I would have to see some kind of floating. What? Some kind of floating, I would have to see. What do you mean? What does that mean? Like the one of the foot.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Oh, the exorcism. Yeah, the changing of tongues. Oh, so like if they're above the bed. I would need some kind of floating. Because, like, I could make a voice. You know what movie scared me too as a kid? Do you guys remember? You definitely don't.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Do you remember the movie Stigma? It sounds familiar. It was like, do you remember it? The one with the hands. Oh, I don't remember that part of it. Oh, that's the religious. That's what Jesus's hands were like, some of the Stigmata, I think it was called.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I think it was a religiously charged horror movie. But like, it was a movie from, what is it? Yeah, like there was someone's eyes in this movie that fucked me up. It scared to shit. out of me. This is very religious. She's wearing the crown. Is it that third picture there where she's like pale white?
Starting point is 00:28:00 Yeah, dude. Shit like that. Oh, no. I just thought that was Avrilavine. Is that, I was going to say, is that, uh, uh, what's her name Arquette? Patricia Arquette? It's a lot of red. I don't know if we could show this.
Starting point is 00:28:13 A lot of red. A lot of red. The stigmata, though, is like, I believe it's when Jesus got like nailed to the cross, like his hands were they called it that? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. that's why it's why would they call it that I don't know why wouldn't they just call it a nail in the hand because I because I
Starting point is 00:28:27 something with Latin I don't know oh but you see what I mean like we wouldn't make jokes like that or talk about that movie if we did I'd be like yeah chill chill chill too what was the like first scary movie you remember watching and while he's thinking about it do you have an answer because I know you're a big horror and creepers my grandfather sent me down
Starting point is 00:28:50 and watch oh yeah we talked about that recently I would quit a lot Like I would like be watching a movie Like no and like I would quit But I remember I always I've told you this before But like the boy meets world Halloween episode like scared me And like that's not even a horror movie
Starting point is 00:29:05 Yes that scared me too Scare the fuck out of me The original exorcist Oh my God I remember one time my mom Put on Omen You remember that movie? The original one? Yeah
Starting point is 00:29:16 Damien Yes Yes And that freaked me out dude I think the most religious I've ever been was when that movie, the remake of that movie,
Starting point is 00:29:25 came out in 2006. And I think it came out on June 6, 2006. And people were just like, what the fuck? That's a good time to put it out, though. I didn't go see it. I went to the Yankee game. The Yankees played the Red Sox
Starting point is 00:29:35 and Melchie Cabrera robbed a home run from Mandy Ramirez. And I bought a shirt outside that said got Melky. So the first one that really scared you was the omen? The original exorcist I remember watching and I like, I was so scared and then I remember one of my neighbors, this older woman
Starting point is 00:29:56 she... It's always older women that are freaky. Yeah, she's like, no, she's like, she like brought it up one to... What are you talking about? She like brought it up again in some way and I was like, stop, stop, stop. And then she was like, oh,
Starting point is 00:30:09 and then the scene where you go, she's backwards on the stairs and like I hadn't gotten up to that part. That was very early on, wasn't it? Oh, then... Maybe I'm thinking of something else. but that scene like the first time I saw that
Starting point is 00:30:24 I was like scarred like it crushed me I think the first and only time I've actually watched that movie was me you and Joanna in her basement you watched The Exorcist in her basement
Starting point is 00:30:36 because like when like in the mid 2000s wait when she lived on like 46th yeah in the mid 2000s when you'd go on like those you know like funny junk or e-bombs or something like that and they would have those like jump scare games
Starting point is 00:30:49 Yeah. The face that was always the face that used to jump scare was, you know, the girl from The Exorcist. Yeah. And I remember one time we watched it and it scared the fuck out of me. Yeah, it was terrifying. But I was old at that point. I was like 12, 13. You remember like the actressism of Emily Rose and it's like, this is a true story?
Starting point is 00:31:06 I was like, I'm good. I'm never watching that. I still haven't seen it. You know what movie did that to me? The fourth kind. Do you ever see that movie? You bring this up all the time. Dude, that movie is...
Starting point is 00:31:16 Oh, no. Do you bring up 16 ghosts or whatever that's? 13 ghosts. 13 ghosts. That movie is kind of scary, but also it's just like kind of nostalgic. But wait, what's the sixth kind? The fourth kind. It was a movie that came out in like 2009, 2010 around there.
Starting point is 00:31:33 And it was about like alien abductions in Alaska. Because like they say like, yes, yo, that woman's face. Yo, that shit scared the fuck out of me, dude. And it was like her story told through. Mila Jovovich and it was like supposed to be like this is real because you know how they say like the third kind like the the first contact the second contact the third contact apparently the fourth contact is like they take you and they fuck with you or some shit like that okay and this movie scared the fuck out of me because I was like they could just come get me because they just had
Starting point is 00:32:10 and there's like a clip from the movie where it like she gets like transported and I'm like they're it's real they got it yeah yeah it's scared the fuck out of me dude I don't like anything where it's like a scary movement. It's like based on true events. I'm like, I am good. Like I don't need that. I'd like, let me just believe it's a story. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:26 Also, when I, when I was younger and something was based on true events, I had no, like, I couldn't conceptualize that that meant like there's a story, but there's a lot of exaggerations and there's a lot of this and that. I thought it's like they're retelling the story. Yes, exactly. When I saw based on a true story or based on real events, I thought like, this is what happened. No way they would lie. Yeah. I thought like it's the wall. I was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and I was like,
Starting point is 00:32:55 this is what happened. Did you see this movie? But even still to this day, when I see like scary movies, I'm just like, I can't. The one that is based on a true story that to this day, I believe is the scariest movie I've ever seen, was the original The Strangers. That movie was, I think it's a legitimately really good movie and it hit double. as I've said in the past, because of the lakehouse. So, like, I had that, like, connective tissue where, like, I would look out and, like,
Starting point is 00:33:24 if you're just, like, in the middle of the night, just heard, like, oh, fuck, here we go. Or, like, you know what I hate in scary movies when there's a scene where you're looking out at something? And then it's, like, someone's heads, like, peeking from behind a thing, but you don't realize, you only realize it until they go, like, behind the tree. Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:46 No! No! No! I'm done. Have you watched weapons yet? No. There's a lot of that? Not a lot of that.
Starting point is 00:33:53 There's really only... Actually, none. I think about it. There's no jump scares. No, there are some jumps scares. There are no jump scares in that movie? Brother. That's more than none.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Yeah, but an hour and 40-minute movie, there's two. No, brother. I think it's... I mean, we're especially now, since we're in Halloween season. It's worth the watch. But the jump scares that always get me are where, like, they do, like, the fake out where it'll be like,
Starting point is 00:34:21 um, you know, like, they're in like a tense, and then like a cat jumps out and they're like, ah, and they lure you into that false sense of security. And then bang, the other one hits you right there. Yeah. I like the ones that stretch it. It's like, in paranormal activity, I think the third one, the camera was, uh, oscillating.
Starting point is 00:34:38 Yes. So, I don't think oscillating is panning is the word. Panning. No, oscillating if it goes back and forth. Yeah. Yeah, like a fan. I'm so sorry. That was a, that was fucked up of me.
Starting point is 00:34:47 It was fine. Because in my head I thought you were an idiot. It's fine. That happens. And so it would show the kitchen and then the living room and then slowly the kitchen again. And the living room just like shit would just appear sometimes. Yeah, like it would cut back. I've watched all those movies.
Starting point is 00:35:02 I don't like it. Okay, we have ads. Oh, we're going to keep, I like talking about Horace. I mean, spooky. Yeah. Oh my God. That was genuine. Genuine.

Starting point is 00:42:19 And sanagado studios.com for all the merch. Thank you guys. We love you. Let's kind of keep this spooky train going. You know what I'm saying? I got more spooky questions for you. Okay. The kind of like big three of like horror movie icons are Freddie, Jason, and Michael Myers.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Mm-hmm. I don't care what you think about the movies because I don't think you've probably seen many if any of them I've seen some but yeah a lot of the three of them who would scare you the most if you turned on your light and saw them there
Starting point is 00:42:51 Freddy Krueger Really? Without a doubt Really? Who would be I mean I would at least think I have a chance against Freddy Kruger You have no chance against Freddie Krueger How would you think that?
Starting point is 00:43:01 If I bring him into the real world He's like a 5 foot nine skinny dude With razor hands Yeah, or I'm going up against Mike Myers, not Mike Myers. No, against Canadian legend Mike Myers. Michael Myers or Jason Voorhees, who are both like 6-8 and like 320. Yeah, but Mike Meyer, like Michael Meyer, I'm just going to call him Mike.
Starting point is 00:43:25 Yeah, but. Good old Mike. Michael Myers walks slow. Yeah, but he- Jason's tough. I didn't realize you were bringing Freddie into the real world because you have that power now. I didn't realize you were doing that. I said you turn on the light and you see them in your door.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Yeah, but you could be asleep. Yeah, but if a guy with, like, no skin... He has skin, it's just been burnt. Oh, is that what that is? Do you remember why it got burnt? No. You guessed it. He was a child predator.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Oh, yeah. The parents burnt him? Yeah. Got it. Yeah. One of the movies made it if he was guilty or not, but he was. He was. He did it.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Yeah. No one is stepping up to defend known child predator, Freddie Kruger. I honestly don't know that Yeah But I think that he's like the scariest looking Really? I feel like Jason Borges, dude He's got like a mask on and it's like
Starting point is 00:44:20 Yeah, bro if you turn on the light and you saw a 6-7 Hunk of a man That's good a warning With a fucking old school hockey mask on And a machete in his hand And a denim jacket The denim jacket I mean he's dressed mostly like a person
Starting point is 00:44:35 But this guy He's got swords for hands basically One hand. The other one is just normal. Okay. So he's got like a hand. So if you could just isolate that hand and it's a glove. Watch this. Isolated. Done. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:44:51 If you just hold the hand down. Is that not his hand? No, it's a glove. Oh. It's a glove with knives on it. I don't think you've seen any of them. It's been a while. It's been a while.
Starting point is 00:45:01 The scary part about Freddy Kruger is he can make that desk like eat you. Yeah. That's a scary part. Yes. How you fight in a desk that could eat you. Well, yeah. He's the only one of them that has, like, mystic powers. I mean, I guess.
Starting point is 00:45:14 You could stretch it that the other two do as well. They have powers of undying, I guess. I think it's just, like, the physically imposing part of it would be the most scary. Jason did punch the head clean off a man. He did. He did. Yeah. He did do that.
Starting point is 00:45:33 Oh, I think I've seen that. Oh, no, maybe. It's from Jason takes Manhattan. and he's on a Manhattan rooftop. Isn't it like a black dude? He's like a boxer? Yeah. And then finally Jason just goes one shot
Starting point is 00:45:45 and literally hits his head off of his shoulders. I mean, I mean, it's like the Twilight movies. Oh yeah, everyone's getting their head ripped off. Yeah, they're strong in those movies.
Starting point is 00:45:53 That's so surprising that you'd be most afraid physically of. I think he's like the scariest. Like if I saw someone, I thought he had no skin. Like I thought that he would, that was like muscle in your face. Okay. I didn't know he was like burnt.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Yeah, it's the burnt skin. That's what it is. Okay, so like I thought that. So I'm like, someone with no skin with a knife pan. I'm going to add one in here that I know will be the one that you pick. But those three or Samara, Samara from. No, any sort of like small girl with long hair, I'm good. There's no way.
Starting point is 00:46:27 In like a little white dress, I'm good. You know, like people rag on Chuckie, but I think Chuckie would be very scary. Chuckie would be terrifying. A doll? Let me explain something. to you. Here's why I don't give a fuck about any of those child child's play movies or
Starting point is 00:46:42 any of the Chucky. If I am in a situation where I die by Chucky, I deserve to be dead. He's sneaky. No, he's not. Yo, I'm still in a room with a doll. Like, I'm sorry. You're not convincing me that this little fucker
Starting point is 00:47:00 is going to kill me. Dude, if you saw Chucky and he was all the way over there and he ran behind the couch, you got to like, where do he, where do he up behind the couch. What do you mean where? I saw where he went. Also, I don't like little things that are quick.
Starting point is 00:47:13 Yeah. That's fair. But then guess what? If he runs at me with a knife, guess what I'm going to do? Turn into Adam Vinatari. I'm going to kick as hard and as swift as I can. I haven't seen the Chucky movies in a long time, but I assume people attempt to kick him. They do.
Starting point is 00:47:30 He has the strength of a grown man. Also, he knows. Wait, he does? Yeah. Also, he knows voodoo. He knows voodoo. Yeah. Well, yeah, that's what goes.
Starting point is 00:47:37 got Chuckie into Chuckie. So what does that mean? He's able to, like, make a little doll of you and, like, fuck with you? He could, like, fully just possess Frankie if he wanted. Like, Frankie can be true. I haven't seen those parts of the movies. Good. Good.
Starting point is 00:47:49 I saw the one where he made fucking, what's her name? Jennifer Tilly, his, like, Lady Chucky, and then they boned. Yeah, they, like, fuck each other as dolls, right? They fully have sex. Bro, dolls have needs. It's fair. Dolls are needs. I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:48:06 They're fucking. I think the one that would be the most scary would be the giant fucking hockey mask wearing man Yeah, but that's scary because it's like, oh my God, but that's the same kind of fear that I would have if like a person that size broke into my house
Starting point is 00:48:21 But if you add the layer of someone's breaking into my house and then they look like a fucking Like a Halloween monster with a five razors in their hands I'd be like, bro. Yeah, someone's, breaking in with a mask is like,
Starting point is 00:48:38 all right, I've seen that. Someone breaking in with like a knife glove. I'm like, what is that? Yeah. And then like also like a cowboy hat or some shit. Yeah. And stripes?
Starting point is 00:48:46 You guys wear a fedora and striped sweater. Stripes. Stripes. Yeah. Striped is the scariest part. I mean, I don't really, you know,
Starting point is 00:48:52 you don't really see people wearing stripes. Uh, don't trust anybody wearing stripes. Yeah. I wonder, I wonder what other horror icon. I mean, pinhead is pretty scary. Pinhead is scary.
Starting point is 00:49:05 Pinhead. Any of the cenabineine. as they're called. It's already over at that point. If Pennhead gets you, it's already over. He's big, isn't he? Is he tall? It's not that he's tall.
Starting point is 00:49:14 He's just got, like, powers where he'll, like, put you in, like, a knife room. He'll put you in a room that's just, like, well, the floor is razor blades. Yeah, but it's supposed to be, like, a sexy thing. He's sexy? Yeah, kind of. Real?
Starting point is 00:49:27 Well, it is a little, like, massacit, like. Leather face is tough. Also, isn't that a real story, too? It's based off of Ed Geen. Oh, okay. Like who like, you know, allegedly. I don't think it's been. Arguably worse.
Starting point is 00:49:42 Yeah, I don't think it's been like confirmed that he like sold human stuff. I mean, definitely he, yeah, he like made some. Nightmare of Elm Street. Scream really got me. Like whenever my phone rang, I'd be scared. There's not many more of like. What was the other one with the? Also, yo, a Bloody Mary.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Like, or the. Oh, shit. Candyman. Like in the mirror at night, I'd be like, yo, I don't want to look at a mirror at night when I was younger because I was afraid that I was going to summon something. Yo, Pinhard was crazy, dude. Yeah, that's wise. Pinhead was crazy. Death.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Cool. Norman Bates, just a guy. Oh, jigsaw. Jigsaw. If I saw that puppet come into the room, I mean, I'm going to hit it, but also I know, like, there's someone with a pig mask in here. Yeah, it's too late. Yeah. There's someone with a pig mask.
Starting point is 00:50:29 Have you seen any of those movies? Uh, I saw one and two. You should, that good, good place to stop, honestly. Oh, no, four. What's, what's, what? What's the one with the murder carousel? Oh, I don't know, dude. Come on.
Starting point is 00:50:40 They all, it just became torture porn at a certain point in time. Saul one was one of the best movies I've seen. Yeah, I agree. The first time I saw it, I was like, yo, this is such a good movie. I agree. Even two. Two was like, all right, but it's like, it's definitely not one. And then I kind of gave up.
Starting point is 00:50:53 Two, they threw that girl Amanda into the thing with the needles. Hated that a lot. Whoa, dude. Didn't like that at a lot. That's crazy. Like, honestly, she might have walked out there, but like Jigsaw put her in a very unwinnable situation with all the fucking things. that she needs to get like tested for after that.
Starting point is 00:51:10 Yeah. Leatherface Jason. It's the top three of the top three. Staying on the, staying on the Halloween of it all, we did right before set up this thing where we're going to draft Halloween candy. However, we're going to do it in a way that like,
Starting point is 00:51:29 you have to have to have two chocolates. You have to have two like sugar type whatever, candies and then one non-traditional. And we can argue whether whatever people pick is traditional or non-traditional. We did take some off to make it interesting. So no Reeses, no twicks, no M&Ms, and then no Skittles, no Starburst, no nerds. So you can't draft those. We're taking the big hitters all. Those are the easy ones. I mean, obviously we would all just
Starting point is 00:51:59 argue over those. So we had to force ourselves to get a little creative here. Even though I would have not drafted nerds in a thousand rounds. I love nerds, man. Especially, like, if we're getting into, like, the gummy clusters and rope of it all. Whoa, are we not adding them? Well, I said no nerds. We said no M&M and M and M's, so that's all M&Ms, no nerds. Yeah, I asked him what if it's all M&Ms.
Starting point is 00:52:20 You said, yeah, all M&M and M&M. Oh, wow, okay. Well, that changes some of my stuff here. How do we figure out? Who goes first? Who goes first? And who goes second? I think, I think, realistically, me and you go first and second.
Starting point is 00:52:32 But he gets the same. snake then i'll snake all right so then could we do like a three-sided coin how how would i present there's got to be a three-sided coin thing that we could flip i don't know if a three-sided coin probably like a three-sided die numbers one two three or just do a generator there's a three-sided die it's a triangle oh okay so wait who's one who's two and who's three wait can you just roll that just to see what happens yeah there's Six sides. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:53:09 There's an easy, we could probably... I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 10, go. No, see, no, no. So we'll row the four-sided one until it's a 1, 2, or 3. If it lands on 4, we'll just row again.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Okay, I'm fine with that. All right, and then same until it's the other 2-2. All right. I'll be 2. All right, I'll be 1. Okay, so this is for first. This is for first. Well, no, this is the...
Starting point is 00:53:32 Wow, that's crazy. We got 4. Okay, all right. Damn. That was you? No, that was... You're two? All right, so I'm last time.
Starting point is 00:53:39 I'm first. Because we'll go like regular. Oh, we're gonna... He'll go first, you'll go second, I'll go through. Okay, all right, that's right. But I snake, I got a snake. Damn, I don't want to go first. You got to go first.
Starting point is 00:53:49 All right. You don't have to, like, you can do, you have to fill your team. Two chocolate, two sugar, one non-traditional. All right. I guess, uh, all right. What was that? In the one, I'm gonna go Snickers. in the one. You can have that.
Starting point is 00:54:07 Dude, that in the one is so crazy. Bananas. First of all, you need to build this in a way that, like, if you go trick-or-treating and this is only what you come home with, how happy are you? I'm assuming that we're going to put this out and people are going to vote. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're going to make the graphic. So I'm talking about, I'm getting vote.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Talk about for the people. I'm drafting for popularity. All right. I mean, Snickers is so like, you, you, that's a meal, dude. I don't like it. You don't need anything else. Crazy. I'm doing this
Starting point is 00:54:40 just because I'm playing a little defense here. I really hope you don't do it. I'm doing a little defense here. And I'm thinking also, like, one of my favorite things about Halloween and the Halloween candy is that you can get a little playful with it. You can have different colors. You can have different, like, packaging and stuff like that.
Starting point is 00:55:00 My number one, give me my Kit Katz, baby. You fucking bitch. I knew it. I told you I'm playing defense. I told you I'm playing defense. See, I would have just did Kikats first if I knew you hated Snickers so much. Well, there you go. You can have Snickers, you dumbass. Damn, Kit Katz is a good one. That's where I was going to go. I know. That's why I took it. Because, like, they'll do, like, the Halloween ones.
Starting point is 00:55:23 Like, sometimes they're orange. Sometimes they're green. Sometimes they're... Yeah, but I just like the OG. I know you do. I'm just saying, like, they get playful with it. And it's a really good... Like, I think Kit Katz, honestly, are whatever. They're so overrated. Whoa! But I need to play to what I believe other people enjoy. Come on.
Starting point is 00:55:40 Kid cat. That's crazy. You're doing a draft and you're drafting. That's crazy. You draft so someone else doesn't draft it. I am going to start with sour patch watermelon. God, you fucking bitch! Does that get me all sour patch, though?
Starting point is 00:55:58 No, you said watermelon. I know. But like... They're different packaging. You just said you get all of the fucking Kit Katz. He's right. I mean, I... I just said all of the, like, it's Kit Kat.
Starting point is 00:56:08 They're not known, like, I'm not saying... Sour Patch is sourpatch. You could take Kit Kat blueberry if you want, Joey. I'm just saying Kit Katz. Then I'll say sour patch if I get all of them. But they come in different packages. So do this Kit Kat. No, but like for Halloween candy,
Starting point is 00:56:22 there's sour patch packages and their sour patch watermelon packages. Please, please. They're also different items entirely. The watermelon ones are shaped like watermelon. The sour patches are kids. So? You said no M&Ms at all. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:56:35 Take your sour patch. What would go on the graphic would probably just be the Sour Patch kids, though. That's what I'm saying. So you're taking the kids, not the watermelon. No, I am taking the watermel. So I think you should say watermelon. This is absurd. This is ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:56:48 And then? Oh, he's snaking. What am I going to do here? Sour patches are like fine, dude. No, Sour Patch is good. Fine. It's fine. And then I might, I have to pick something good.
Starting point is 00:57:05 here. I feel like this isn't a good, oh man, what I take Sour Patch? All right. Give me, give me Milky Way. I'm taking a Milky Way. That's good. Yeah? Fuck. God, thank God. I was worried about Milky Way for a second. God damn it, dude. I got Milky Way and Sour Patch more amounts. So far, I got a good candy bag. Oh, pick forever, though. You know, sucks, dude. That sucks, dude. That, fucking sucks because I love milky ways too and I feel like low key they get like hated
Starting point is 00:57:45 on which is crazy they get they get a little bit of hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate damn well I did my so you said that we did it like two chocolatey two yeah two chocolate two sugar one one non traditional okay
Starting point is 00:58:01 um well I did a chocolate I'll start with it I'll go back to another a sugary I'll wait for my next chocolate one. Okay. I think my sugary one is going to be airheads. You thought I was hoping that fell to me so bad. I think airheads, you get the good abundance of flavor.
Starting point is 00:58:24 Honestly, a normal size airhead is too big. The Halloween size airhead, the snack airheads are the perfect size. And you can also do like, you can also do like fun little flavors and stuff like that. You know what I'm saying? Fuck, man. So wait, you have two. Oh, you have one-on-one? I have Kid Cat and I have airheads.
Starting point is 00:58:42 Those are good. This is a good. Oh, God. That's good. Okay. Your next pick is make or break in this bag. The bag is already made and broke. I got my nut in there and chocolate.
Starting point is 00:58:54 That's crazy. Take it easy. So I'm going to go Hershey Bar for my last chocolate. Yo, your bag sucks so much. Even though I do like them, but like let's have a good time. But of the abundance of things out there, you went with Hershey Bar. Yep. That's kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:59:11 Does that mean I get white chocolate, dark chocolate? Do I get everything? Sure. I don't agree. I don't agree. Because I think a cookies and cream one is different than the regular milk chocolate. So then you don't get all these kid cats, even though like the rest of them sucks. There's one kid cat.
Starting point is 00:59:27 I'm not saying, I'm just saying that sometimes the packaging is playful. Oh, I thought you meant like, there's flavored ones. Yeah, I don't care about those. Oh, that's what we thought you were talking about. No. Who speaks this way? Yeah. And then I'm going to go the trolley sour gummy worms.
Starting point is 00:59:45 You're going to have those, you dumbass. Whoa, no, that's a good pick. That's his first good pick. No, you can have that one. It's going to be a well-balanced. Like, I think they understand. No. No, you can have that one.
Starting point is 00:59:57 No. Okay. Well, listen, I, when thinking about what I need to go with with my next chocolate, you took my Milky Way, you bastard. Yes. So I'm a little upset about that. But what's the next best non-destroying chocolate that you could get? Like non-mouth destroying chocolate you can get on Halloween.
Starting point is 01:00:21 That's why for my next chocolate you pick, I'm going tootsie rolls, baby. Tootsie rolls are a quiet staple of Halloween. And I'm not talking those like flavored ones. I'm not talking the ones where it's like, this is a vanilla cream. This is a blueberry. Just the just the chocolate one. Just the classic chocolate tootsie roll. That sucks.
Starting point is 01:00:43 That sucks. Like, what a dud, like, you have so many options. What a dud after a Kit Kat air hang. I don't think. This is, by the way, your picks have been legendarily bad. What do you, I'm chilling, I think. I think your picks are awful. I'm more scared of Joe's next pick.
Starting point is 01:00:58 Your list, you, you tanked it. Yeah, right. He's just trying to get me riled up, and it's working. Okay, my next one. Oh, this is tough. Your next two in a row. Two, yeah. My next two.
Starting point is 01:01:09 I'm going to do one, and then I'm going to get to the rest of these ads. So I have, what did I pick? Yoniki Way and Sour Patch. Watermelon I have. The next thing, now we're going to add some variety here. Because you don't always want, you know, something like the gummy type of shit. So give me Jolly Ranchers. Fuck.
Starting point is 01:01:35 That's a good pick. Taking Jolly Ranchers. It's a really good. It's a really good pick. God damn it. And then we're going to go to a commercial break right here. We'll get back to the next pick after a word from our local sponsors. Does that include the pops too?
Starting point is 01:01:47 The pops? They make lollipops. Oh, yeah, whatever. Because I like my lollipop form too. But anyway, before we get to the rest of this, we do have some sponsors. We have Factor here. Factor makes chef-crafted dietitian designed ready to eat meals so you don't have to choose between real food and convenience. Starting point is 01:03:32 And if you don't really know anything about it, then it kind of is. But it doesn't have to be with Cash App. you can set up automatic purchases and pay zero fees when you do. That includes features like auto invests, roundups, and even getting paid in Bitcoin. So go download Cash App and, yeah, get started there, folks. And now it's my turn. I have two sugar.
Starting point is 01:04:38 What was your last pick? Jolly Ranchers. That's a good pick. Jolly Ranchers, sour patched gummy worm, uh, sour patch watermelon. And then I also had a milky way.
Starting point is 01:04:48 Here's the thing, though. I only have a chocolate and, um, the only reason I'm going to knock Jolly Ranchers is because you can either get blue and watermelon or you can end up with green apples. And if I go to a house.
Starting point is 01:05:02 I can choose. You can choose. Sometimes they just toss shit in your bag, dude. Wait, I have to pick one. Oh, I have to pick a chocolate now. Oh, okay. I'm going to pick a chocolate. I think I know what he's going to pick.
Starting point is 01:05:24 Yeah, you do. I think I know what he's. Yeah, you do. I'm taking, give me milk duds. Yeah, I knew that. I'm surprised that wasn't higher on your list, buddy. Here's the thing. This is why I specify non-mouth destroying,
Starting point is 01:05:35 because I am a forever fan of milk duds, but it is, milk duds take 40 minutes to eat. They're good, though. Oh, yeah. It's my favorite chocolate candy. Besides Twix. They're kind of ass.
Starting point is 01:05:51 Milk duds? Yeah. You're crazy, budging. You're crazy. It's all right, because my next sugary candy pick is absolutely going to blow the brakes off, you motherfuckers. Oh, no. I have put together the dream team. This is the Nova Nix of Halloween candy.
Starting point is 01:06:05 Okay. And you need your shit. You need your Josh Hart. That's why my Josh Hart here is Swedish Fish. Oh. What the fuck are you doing? Oh. I like Swedish fish, but like hyping it up like that is outrageous.
Starting point is 01:06:23 Swedish fish, baby. Like, they're good. They're great. They're great. And they're perfect. They're fun. They're little fish shapes. You know?
Starting point is 01:06:32 You have airheads and Swedish fish. You're damn right. Yeah. You're damn right I do. You're fumbling over your own shoes here. You have the most. Yours ass. Bear bones chocolate
Starting point is 01:06:46 What do you have so far? I have snickers Hershey bars and trolley sour gummy worms Yo I got good chocolate spread Kiss my fucking ass dude He's got kickats He's got kickats, that's good Then you got airheads, tootsy rolls
Starting point is 01:06:57 And Swedish fish Bro They're fucking iconic This is gonna be close They're iconic I'm way more afraid of Joe's list It's a problem I have just my non-traditional left
Starting point is 01:07:07 Yeah and I also I don't really know what that means So it's just something that isn't like a traditional candy Okay well For my fourth pick, my other sugar, I'm going to go blow pops. I want a lollipop. No one else has lollipops.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Blow pops? Bro, you were right there. You were so crazy. Tootsy pops are elite. But he has tutsis. I have tutsi pops. You're not allowed to not pick. So can I do tizzy pops?
Starting point is 01:07:33 Too late, bitch. You said blow pops. I thought because he had tutsies, I couldn't have it. He probably would have argued against it. You're right. I would have, but it's important my argument now. Stick with the blow pops. All right.
Starting point is 01:07:42 I'll just go blow pops. Oh, I love blow pops. I'm like good on blowpice. I love, I love those giant fat ones that are like the icy blue raz ones. They're called like blue ice. Oh, yeah. And then I don't know what, I guess non-traditional. I'm just going to go, you know what, whatever.
Starting point is 01:07:57 It's my list if they like it or not. Whatever. Cookie dough bites is what I'm doing. That's not awful, honestly. That's honestly probably better than both of your chocolate choices. So I think like, I thought that was like non-traditional. A non-traditional, I will give you like cookie dough. Cookie dough bites is like a candy.
Starting point is 01:08:14 You know what I'm saying? Oh, so you're not going to say a candy. Mine was not a candy. Mine was not a candy. Oh, oh, okay. It's like a snack almost. But cookie dough is a good answer. I'm going to go cookie dough.
Starting point is 01:08:24 Yeah, that's good. I'm going to go cookie dough. I like that. That's a good answer for it. Oh, you went with an edible thing for your flex? I can't wait. What is that even, you put an inedible object? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:36 Do you eat it? No. Sorry, I didn't understand. That's what makes it inedible. I know. I'm saying you, though. For my. flex, I put stone cold cash, baby.
Starting point is 01:08:51 We're doing eating candy. Oh, all right. Then I'll change it. Then I'll change it. I just meant like something that isn't like typically a candy. Okay, like not typically a Halloween thing. Just not even Halloween. I was going to go the mini packs of mini Oreos then.
Starting point is 01:09:09 That's a good answer. Okay, it's like cookies? Yeah. Mini Orioles. No, specifically mini Oreos. I got you. Okay. Because mini Chips A Hoy are not enough chips a Hoy to be a chips
Starting point is 01:09:17 And same thing with like, if I, I swear to God, if, I remember once I got like, someone gave me like mini nutter butters and I fucking launched that shit into the woods. Mini Oreos are perfect little bite size Oreo bite treat. I have two non-traditionals here. I'm trying to think about which one. Joe could run away with it here if he does a good one, I think. I have two here. He's sucking, you're a fucking boss.
Starting point is 01:09:42 I see what you're doing and it's working because I'm angry. I'm trying to think of like, which one I think would put me over because there's one that is more near and dear to my heart but I don't know if I'm going to go with that one you need a heart pick so I'm just going to say rice crispy treats unbelievable pick
Starting point is 01:10:03 wow that's a good pick you know what was the other one that I liked I don't know how to pronounce them but you know they're like the wafers the pierreline Purillian ones. They're like in the tin. Love them. Oh, like the chocolate straws.
Starting point is 01:10:20 Yes. Chocolate straws. Gotcha. But I'm doing Rice Krispy treats. That's what a better pick than whatever that dump flesh fucking thing would have been. Yeah. How you were like, oh, I'm so torn here. Take the just like unabashedly significantly better option.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Rice Krispy treats. Damn. Especially because they could be like, some of them could have like little like like the thing. Eye on them or something. Oh, I? Yeah, like, people will, like, put, like, Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, Becca does that for Halloween.
Starting point is 01:10:49 She makes little Frankenstein ones. I'll be honest with you. I'm kind of shocked that gummy bears didn't pop up on anyone's list. I, so I had lifesaver gummy rings on mine. Those are low-key brave. Fire, and I know why you like them, because you love shoving your tongue through them.
Starting point is 01:11:04 Because you could stretch them. You can stretch them with your tongue. Yeah, you can. Rip them open. You can open them up. Hell yeah. You know, I, uh, I, I, I, I believe that. those are so good.
Starting point is 01:11:17 Those are. This is the same thing like we were talking about those other gummy bears like they're soft. Yeah, I like that. And like there's no coming back
Starting point is 01:11:23 once I stretch them. Yeah, no. Well, they're stretched. They're fucking done, dude. It reminds me like,
Starting point is 01:11:28 it's like, you know when like those skaters used to get like gauges in their ears? Yes, yes, exactly. I like putting them on my, like putting a bunch on my finger
Starting point is 01:11:37 and then I eat them off one by one. Or I make up biting it and I watch, like, like stretch and then I watch it rip. I do that too. I do that too. No three musketeers guys? One of the worst candy bars ever. It's not that bad. I fucking hate it. Also a low-key, I would have respected if
Starting point is 01:11:58 someone said 100 grand because that shit is fine. So I thought you were going to go 100 grand, honestly. I thought you were going to go 100 grand or Mr. Goodyear. Those are, what the I don't even know what that is. It's another one of those like when you get like the Hershey's But doesn't have like peanuts or something in it? Uh, maybe. I should have said crunch bar instead of Hershey Bar. Crunch bars are, yes, significantly better. Crunch bars are so, yeah, but people like Hershey. I like a bunch of crunch better.
Starting point is 01:12:21 Then a crunch bar? Crunch bars are so good. Crunch bars are good. It's weird because they're airy. Well, it's the rice. It's the popped rice. I know. They're airy.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Oh, man. You know, for like, not that this dude needs any fucking more of this shit, but like, I actually do fuck with the Feastables chocolate butter. Yes, they are good. Just the, just the regular one. At first, they tasted like shit. Oh, I didn't have them at first. We had the first package, and it was when he was still trying to be, like, super healthy chocolate.
Starting point is 01:12:48 And then he realized, like, oh, it's chocolate. And then he made them a little sweeter. And then that, now they taste really good. Now they taste really good. I think I had the same, because I remember I got a package, and it was just like, with the new fucking, like, packaging and stuff like that. The milk chocolate's good. The popped rice one is good. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:05 The peanut butter one is fucking cheeks, dude. I never even tried it. I hate, like, you know what I hate? And I like, I like. Chocolatetoni-loni-lonis. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. They're good.
Starting point is 01:13:19 But I grabbed their caramel one, and it's not like caramel inside. It's like they like mix caramel into the chocolate. Oh, I don't want that. So it's like caramel-flavored chocolate. No, I want my shit. Cream pie. Give it to me cream pie, dude. You want that shit stuffed.
Starting point is 01:13:34 Yeah. In, out. Not out. I fuck with the fact that they have like different types of breaks. Yo, I open that shit, and it looks like a 90s rug. Yeah, yeah. You know what I'm talking about? Stained glass window.
Starting point is 01:13:47 Yeah, yeah. Fuck with that. Would we have accepted Farrow-Roshaes? Yes. Yes. I actually think... A rich-ass neighborhood, you rolling in, though. They got that fucking rich-ass candy.
Starting point is 01:13:57 I'm saying it just doesn't feel like a Halloween thing. I mean... It's a Christmas thing. It is. It is significantly more a Christmas thing. Same with the Lent Chocolate Troubles, which are the pinnacle of chocolate. They are.
Starting point is 01:14:09 I don't think there is better chocolate on the planet than those. I will need to go back and do the Cadbury versus the lint because I do fuck with Cadbury. Chocolate too. Yeah, you brought that up a bunch. They have good chocolate. Like the caramel. Caramelo.
Starting point is 01:14:23 Ooh. They call me mellow, yeah. So do you want to go over our lists? And then are we going to put them on Instagram for, as a poll? Yeah, we'll make Mano get a graphic together. I had. Well, Antkin read it.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Yeah, I haven't read that. So Joe has sour patch, watermelon, Milky Way, Jolly Ranchers, milk duds, and then, Rice, Crispy Treats as the kicker. That's good. Okay. Oh, you're not confident.
Starting point is 01:14:49 I like, yeah. Frankie has kick cats at the top, airheads, Tootsyrolls, Swedish fish, and then mini Oreos has his kicker. Legitimately, one of be, it might be the best team that has ever been put together. That's Dream Team starting five. I'm not good with this. Usually the ones I think are the worst of the ones that win, so maybe you got a chance. and I had Snickers,
Starting point is 01:15:13 Hershey Bar, trolley sour gummy worms, blow pops, and then cookie dough is the kicker. Yo, cookie dough like saved you from an embarrassing... I don't think so. No, cookie dough, now that I'm thinking about it... Cookie dough's good. Yeah, but like, it needs to be, like, legit cookie dough to be good.
Starting point is 01:15:29 Like, if you get, like, the, like, packaged, like the cookie dough bites, like, you see at the movie theater, dog shit. Yeah, just regular cookie dough. I couldn't have the cookie dough bits. Like the one where you're, like, rolling the dice. Yeah, yeah. But then you're just walking around with like room temperature cookie dough for hours.
Starting point is 01:15:43 You're you're not rolling the dice. You are picking your outcome. Where am I walking? I'm thinking trick-a-treat. Oh, I mean, I don't think a house is going to. Here's some regular cookie dough. Yeah. I just meant in general as like a candy draft.
Starting point is 01:15:57 What would you do if you walked up to a house and they give you a sleeve of cookie dough? I'd probably go home quick and throw my fridge. I'm like, thank you. Yeah, I don't know. Frankie could, Frankie could pull the time. I think that if Jolly Rancher resonate. I feel like that may be the part where I could have maybe done something better, but I can't even think of anything right now.
Starting point is 01:16:16 When you take away the heavy hitters, it's tough. I mean, I think I played good defense taking Kit Kat and Airhead away from you. Because both of those would have been on your list. Yeah, they would have. I was hoping that airhead, like, slipped through the cracks and I would get it. You guys don't have a nut? You don't have much variety. Nut sucks.
Starting point is 01:16:33 I don't want nut. First of all, peanut Eminemones. Pinot Eminemps are the best. That was on my list when we spoke. Before we did like the no heavy hitters. That might have been my one. But you guys have no nuts. Who needs nuts?
Starting point is 01:16:45 You need some. You need variety. You don't need nuts. Frankie's got full cookies, so. But the mini-or-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-Doh. No, I don't have full cookies. I have like the package. Yeah, I know, but they are cookies.
Starting point is 01:16:56 So that's a good pick. Rice Krispreats. Rice Krispreats. Rice Kris Treats is such a, like, you know, like Tom Brady in the 34th round. Yeah. Like, that is such a great pick. All right. Well, we'll see.
Starting point is 01:17:09 We'll have you guys vote on them and you let us know. We'll post it on the Instagram. We'll get some graphics up. Also, I want to make sure that the fucking graphic is like, we've excluded these. So people are like, what the fuck? Where is Starvist? Yeah, yeah. Like, on like the first slide, it should say like Halloween candy draft.
Starting point is 01:17:22 We've excluded this, this, this, this and this. We'll put those on those candies on the IR or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Reserve. But yeah. Frank, where can they find you? The Frank Alvarez is all over.
