Hello Bechdel cast listeners. How you doing? We've got something to freaking say. Oh, it's winter you say, the time that we go on tour for some reason. Well, guess what it's happening again. Happening again. So we're taking the week off from a normal episode this week,

but we wanted to take this opportunity to plug our little tour coming up in January. It is a tour up the West Coast. So we are starting with a show in Los Angeles. Ever heard of it? On January 19th at 4 p.m. That's a Sunday, a little Sunday matinee. And we're super excited for that show

because it's going to be, I mean, this show's been on for eight years now, if you can believe it. And we've never really done a proper anniversary show, mostly because our anniversary was during lockdown. So, like our biggest, like, five-year anniversary. So we wanted to take a moment to celebrate the show, celebrate all of the, whatever, bits and weirdness we moment to celebrate the show, celebrate all of the whatever bits and weirdness

we've done over the years and bring on some of our favorite guests. So this is kind of like a special variety show that we're putting together, obviously hosted by us. We'll be doing standup and we'll have some of your favorite long time guests on the show that are local to Los Angeles obviously. So true, so true. Performing and then doing bits with us

and talking about their favorite movies. But if you're a fan of the show and you live in the area, it'll be a really good time. I feel like we've never gotten to properly celebrate the show with you. So we're super pumped. But Caitlin, if you don't live in LA, all is not lost. It's very true because the show will be live streamed.

So the live show is in LA at Dynasty Typewriter, but there's an option to buy a live stream ticket and you can see it live stream. Usually it's like available for like a week after that. So even if you can't see the live stream as it's happening, you can still buy a ticket and then have access to that video content.

Yes, that you will, I believe it will be available for you at the next week. And if you haven't seen, if you haven't streamed a show from the dynasty typewriter set up before, it's gorgeous. It's like you'll be there laughing your little head off, uh, yourselves. And if you are going to be physically there at all of these tour dates, we will of course always be there with exclusive merch, exclusive posters, and you can come meet us and hang out after the show.

But that's not all, there's more shows to be announced. It's so true, the next one is on January 23rd in San Francisco, it's a part of SketchFest. It's at Club Fugazi, where we were at last year, if you came to the SketchFest show in San Francisco last year. So beautiful. And this is going to be part of our famed Shrektanic tour. And we are covering for this show, Titanic.

Yes. You don't wanna miss it. It's been 84 years. It's been eight years of the show. You just gotta come and see all of that. Yeah, we're super excited. I mean, we took, and more specifically, Caitlin took the Shrek Tannic tour to Europe last spring.

I wasn't able to be there, so I'm triple stoked to be doing this because I never got, I bought, as you know, Kayla, I invested in a rose to whip be cater Etsy reproduction. I paid in for and everything and I never got to wear it. So I'm so excited. And we just love sketch fest. Shout out to sketch fest, Bay area heads, please come out. It's going to be big and goofy. And if you've seen our shows before, it'll be like that, but even better. And then finally, we are returning to Portland, Oregon, never heard of it.

To another favorite theater of ours, Curious Comedy Theater on January 26th at 7 p.m. An extension of the Shrek Tanik tour, but Caitlin, something's different. Something's different, it's not Titanic this time, it's the Shrek part of Shrektanek, and we're covering Shrek. And so it's an entirely different show,

and here's the thing, it's also gonna be live streamed. So if you can't be there in person and you wanna see Shrektanek, you can buy the live stream ticket and have access to that. Same thing for like up to a week after. So even if you can't make the live stream as it's happening you can access it after the fact. And same deal I'll finally get to you know stretch out the the Fiona costume I so carefully invested

in.
