My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Unfortunately from Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York state number, and we own you.

This is the Almost Famous Podcast with IHartRadio.
We are back, Almost Famous, and I have got faith here.
This is Trista, by the way, for anyone listening.
I'm filling in for Ben and Ashley, who had to get back home.
So I am here, and I'm so lucky.
to be here with Faith. How are you? I'm good. There couldn't be a better fill-in.
Oh, you're the best. Truly, I'm honored to be able to talk with you today. Thank you.
How are you? I'm good. You know, I'm surprisingly better than I thought.
Okay, good. I do. I feel so great. I'm loving this whole adventure opportunity to just be part of
something so beautiful. And it was amazing last night. It was amazing and fun. And to connect with
everybody in The Bachelor Nation and to see Gary and Teresa is so happy. And they walked in this
morning and they're like, you know, they're just settling in and finally together. So yeah, it's
beautiful. A little bit hard. I was going to say, because the night before we were talking and
the feelings are still there. You can't just shut off feelings, right? It's perplexing to me.
Because, you know, right from the get go, Gary and Teresa and I would talk on the phone when it was out
that they were together, and I knew ahead of time, love them both. And, you know, Teresa and Gary
and I are very transparent with our feelings. Teresa would be like, he loves you so much. And I'm
like, I love him too, and I love you. And we're going to be friends for life, right? And they're like,
yeah, so we call and check in with each other all the time. Very sweet. But I'm, you know,
even that, still I would be like so excited, so happy for them. And then all of a sudden I had to
go in the bathroom and cry for a little bit. And then I would come back out and I would tell Teresa,
I text her, tell me how happy you are and how great this is going to be, because then my
heart will heal.
Every time I talk to her or him and hear about the hope for their future, my heart got
more and more healed.
Yeah.
But, you know, it's still a little bit hard because I was so in love with him.
And I don't know that I would ever find those qualities in another man, you know.
So I felt the loss for sure.
But I'm super excited for them both.
Do you feel like when you came on the show, do you feel like you were?
were very hopeful. You found it and your heart was broken. Do you feel that that hope was diminished
at all? Um, you know, I think that you go all in with your heart, you know, you go all in.
And I think an immediate reaction is, okay, I'm, you know, I'm done. I'm just going to, I'm just
going to be done, you know, this didn't work. I'm just going to be done. And then when you think
about it and you really let it sink in. Because initially when your heart's broke, of course,
you go there. You know, you're kind of like, okay, I'm done. That was so hard. Yeah. Yeah. But then when I think
about it, I think, you know, the fact that it allowed me to feel again and to know that I had a heart that
wasn't dead inside, that I actually could muster up those feelings and have that in my heart made me
think, okay, I am still alive. That's right. Yeah, I just got to look at it differently. So I, you know,
know, it takes a little prodding every now and then I think, yes, I'm going to get back out there
and start, you know, trying to date with purpose and find my person. But, yeah, of course,
when you get your heart broke, that's the first defense you go to. Of course. I am hopeful,
though, for the future. Because it is like grieving. You go through the stages of grief. You get
angry or denial, you know, all of those things. And I just hope you get to the place where you
truly feel like. I feel like I will. I, you know,
I'm hopeful. I haven't been on a date yet or anything. Yeah. But I have flirted a little bit.
Okay. Go. I have somebody that I was really, really flirting with a little. And I actually was
feeling like, yeah, yeah. It would be so fun to meet up with that person. So, yeah. Who lives in your town?
No. No. Did you meet through GM? I'm not going to say. Oh, because it might be somebody we know.
It might be. But here's the thing. You know, and to clarify, so I never said I wouldn't move. I
I said, it's important that a person knows my pull to my community, to my kids, to my
grandkids.
Like, I'm not going to lie.
I'm not a person that could see their kids twice a year.
That's not me.
I would share time.
I would love to get an RV and travel between two places.
I'd love to live in a central location that was warm and sunny in the winter.
And, you know, I would love to just have that with somebody that I was in love with.
So, you know, you just never know how that looks back.
You just never know.
Yeah.
Okay, well, I'm going to be very on the edge of my seat.
Yeah, me too.
Me too.
What happened?
So, did you have fun?
I did.
Did you close it down?
No, I didn't close it down because, you know, I've learned my lesson with that.
I knew we had the brunch, but I did dance for two hours.
The band was amazing.
Oh, amazing.
Yes.
Now, let me clarify the band at the second reception.
Okay, the first one.
Uh-huh.
But the band that we all saw in our private reception was amazing.
They played, oh, yeah.
I was on the dance floor for hours.
Yes, me too.
I danced for like two hours, and then they were going to serve dinner,
and I'm like, I want to get out of my clothes.
And I want to wash my face, you know, so I did.
I went home and just hung out.
And then the party crew got, the party got over it.
I don't know what time.
Oh, I went to bed at midnight.
I think everybody was partying outside my doors, what they were doing.
But that was okay, too.
Yeah, I slept right through it.
It was so much fun.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up.
Isn't that against school policy?
That sounds totally inappropriate.
Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and they're the same age.
And it's even more likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them.
I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
To hear the explosive finale, listen to the old.

Imagine that you're on an airplane, and all of a sudden you hear this.
Attention passengers.
The pilot is having an emergency, and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane.
Think you could do it?
It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control.
And they're saying like, okay, pull this, until this.
Do this. Pull that. Turn this.
It's just...
I can do it my eye.
I'm Mani. I'm Noah. This is Devin. And on our new show, No Such Thing, we get to the bottom of
questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack
expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. And then as we
try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this

Hey, sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance, bro?
Tell you how to manage your money again.
Welcome to Brown Ambition.
This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards.
If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards,
you may just recreate the same problem a year from now.
When you do feel like you are bleeding from these high interest rates,
I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union,
shopping around online, looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable.
Listen, I am not here to judge.
It is so expensive in these streets.
I 100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt and it weighs on you.
It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand.
It's nice and dark in the sand.
Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're avoiding it.
And in fact, it may get even worse.
For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart Radio.

I love a wedding because I love love, first and foremost, but I love a wedding because it's
like celebratory.
And as you might have seen last night, my husband was, you know, he does not like the dance floor.
He was sitting at the table that I was at and you were off dancing.
As per usual.
That's my groove.
Like, I just, I was a dancer.
I love being on the dance floor and just letting loose.
And it was the night to do it because that band was phenomenal.
Yes.
And great exercise.
That's so true.
I was actually, there were so many songs that, and it's not just the dancing part, like singing these songs.
Yes.
We know all the words.
Oh, all the words.
I know.
It's amazing.
Yeah.
I've sang some of those songs in my band.
So I was like singing right along with them.
I was like, that's crazy.
Oh my gosh.
You should have gotten you on the mind.
Oh, no.
You know what I got to say, what's so fun, and I know this sounds crazy, but the younger
generations of all the Bachelor Nation, I am in love with all of them.
Oh, right.
And Braden's proposal.
I mean, that.
So there are mixed reviews out there about the proposal.
So, like Ben earlier, we were talking about this, and his wife had called him and said
that she didn't think it was appropriate that you were, that.
someone got engaged at somebody else's wedding.
You know, I would let go with that.
You're like whatever.
You know, love is a beautiful thing no matter where it's at.
I highly doubt that Teresa and Gary feel upstage.
Right.
I would say that's silly.
But yeah, everybody's entitled to their own feelings.
I thought it was so beautiful because it is so real and so gorgeous.
And to see Braden go through his journey and find her and they are just, I love them.
Yeah.
And, you know, it's so fun to see Daunton and Cherry.
And then all the beautiful couples and all the beautiful people on this show that are just, oh, my gosh, just amazing people.
It's so fun.
I've just fallen in love with all these younger generations.
Love, love, love, Rachel.
And what a badass she is.
She's a pilot.
Freaking love.
Oh, my God.
She's brilliant.
She's gorgeous.
And how has she not found love, right?
She will.
She will.
She will.
It's coming.
All those people who have paved the way for her, she'll find.
She'll find them.
I guarantee it.
Yes, I love the family.
It's beautiful family.
And what's funny is I'm flashing back to when I came to the Bachelor Mansion
and met you for the first time and you were like,
I'm so lame.
But yeah, everybody, same thing with Jesse.
Jesse walks in.
I'm like, it's some guy in a suit.
And then I don't know.
I told people after that that I loved you because.
you were real. You're like, I haven't watched the show. I'm so sorry. I'm like, you never have to
apologize to me. Anyone who is listening to this ever, do you have to apologize?
But I'll- Hi. By to saying that you're sorry that you didn't watch the show. It's okay.
It doesn't matter. But I love that you just said that when we first met. Like, I'm so sorry. I haven't
watched the show. And now you're like embracing all of it. And I love it so much. And so I had asked Katie,
if I was to start watching, where would I watch?
Like, I don't even know where to find these shows.
And so Katie goes, no, watch, Katie goes watch The Bachelorette.
I loved it.
Yeah.
And then I've watched everything I can possibly see.
So, like, I'll see these people in the crowd and Bachelor Nation.
I'm like, I know you.
I saw you.
I saw you.
And I don't know which season, you know.
So they're like, I'm so and so from season nine.
I'm so and so from 2005.
I'm Ben season.
I watched the other Ben.
I'm watching his season now.
So I think it's so fun.
It's like, oh, my God, my whole life could be binge watching The Bachelor from here on out.
I love it.
It's the best show ever.
I wonder how long it would take from start to finish.
I don't know.
I have not seen your season.
Do you know that the archivist of The Bachelor?
Do you have them all?
She has all of them.
Okay, because when the guys came out the first night on the show and they introduced all their producers to us,
and I said, can we like get a box set of the back?
I know.
Because, like, how do we find these?
you know what that you need to do that like a box set box set for like the people interested but not
CDs I know okay but we but just me but just me I don't care I don't care I don't want to have to like log
into somewhere also I would log in like that's like should be in the um in the in the get in the gift
the favors the favors yeah the lake we do we need it so in on Hulu because I haven't been able to find all the seasons are
they all on Hulu?
They're not all.
Actually, someone last night I saw something on Instagram or something and someone said, Trista's season
should be on Hulu and it isn't.
Yeah, I want to see that.
I want to start.
I want to start and I want to watch every single season.
You should watch Start to Finish because there are obviously people who become the lead
from, like, we started it because I was on the Bachelor and I was the run.
enter up and then they asked me to be the
Bachelorette. So people knew me from the bachelor.
So if you start from the beginning,
there will have lots of stories that
everything's weaved. Trista, did you
ever think back then when you
first started on the show that like
20 years from now, you'll be married
to a guy and you'll be hosting the
golden, or whatever, you know, like you'll be
involved in the podcast, yeah.
I couldn't have even dreamt what a podcast was.
Isn't it weird? I did one of those
when I was sitting in Werner Brothers Studio.
I was like, if somebody would
told me a year ago, I would be in a private room at Warner Brothers Studio crying over the man
that just broke my heart. And I'm going to go on live stage and talk about it. Like, how do you
know what's coming next in life? You know, love that. But I love the ride. I am very grateful
to have been part of this family and to have met you. Me too. I feel like I gained a huge family.
Yes, you did. Super fun. So thank you for being here. Thank you for having me.
