This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with Iheart Radio.
It's almost famous podcast.
We're here today to discuss all the latest happenings in Bachelor Nation.
But before we get into that, Ashley, last time we spoke,
it was just a few days before the festive holidays.
how was your thanksgiving it was wonderful how was yours it was great we did the the bloody
merry bar which was a blast uh a lot of neighbors showed up i mean the house was
the house was packed you hosted one of the bloody man no no goodness no no uh just down the street
here uh that was it's such a good idea in the morning to have this it's kind of a good warm up
It's early.
You know, the kids get to play with their friends before they go play with their cousins.
It's a great way to wear them out.
Winnie was a star at it.
She's been a star for the last few days.
We came back here, had a big, big early dinner, like lunch dinner, like a 2.30,
and then just chilled out the rest of the day.
It was awesome.
It was a great, very relaxing day.
So I have a question for you.
You were talking on the other podcast about how you always have the TV on and you have
you know the football on but jess is really particular about winnie's screen time how do you have
her how do you deal with that yeah so i mean we didn't have any tv on when we were eating uh that
was all just separate uh but afterwards uh well typically winnie is at this point so distracted
on the floor with somebody doing like a book it's not like she's sitting there glued into the tv
Okay, so that's my question, like on lazy days, like Thanksgiving, is that considered screen time if they're like doing other stuff?
No, because they're not focused, like, I mean, at least in our household, I'm guessing it's different for every family.
But for us, I think it's a little bit of the laxed like mindset of, okay, the TV's on, but when he's not watching it, she's actually like has her back turned to it.
And so somebody is engaging her in something other than the TV the whole time.
I think, like, by definition here, it would be, is a screen the source of entertainment for Winnie or not?
If the screen's the source of entertainment, and we can tell it's a source of entertainment, then it's typically, like, let's pull her out, take her upstairs with the screen's not on.
If it's on and she's doing her own thing, not even a problem.
Like, totally cool.
Okay, so that's always, like, my debate.
I'm like, if I'm watching a show that's for me
and they're just like playing around the living room,
is that like, fine?
Is this considered their screen time for the day?
Because that makes me feel guilty.
Then it makes me feel like I can never watch TV for myself.
Sure, yeah.
Or relax during the weekend.
No, I mean, like at night when I'm giving Winnie the bottle,
I have the TV on.
Oney's not watching it, but it's on.
Yeah.
You mean dedicated screen time.
She's careful.
in she like if you're if the boy sat next to you and we're like mom i'm going to watch this yeah i'd say
that's it but it just a glancing like look or there's a noise that goes on and she checks it out
like not a problem and it's kind of fun because at this point i can tell she so easily could get
addicted just like we do as adults she'd get a dick to the screen she loves like pulling my phone
if i have it sitting on a counter or something and holding it it's the phone and the iPad
that I've found to be the issues.
Yeah.
I mean, so I think that's by our definition how we're doing it.
And I kind of plan on doing it this way for as long as we possibly can until it gets weird for her.
But I would rather, you know, ask her to play with something that's not a screen or a toy on the ground and do that with her.
I mean, it's a little harder, yes, for me, because I don't get to necessarily just chill out.
But I don't know as a parent if you just get to chill out too often during the days.
Hey, Hayden doesn't let us.
So we really do enjoy like our seven to nine o'clock, like family TV time, especially now.
We do like a Christmas movie, but Hayden won't do it.
Dawson is, wow, he will want to snuggle, like hug you for two hours while you bond over a movie.
And that is so awesome.
We love it.
So, so much.
And at almost four, I think it's totally appropriate.
And it's cool, like, Jared and I, like, will bond over our favorite things.
I still predominantly keep him in, like, 90s-oriented TV.
Full House is our go-to.
I pretty much basically don't consider Full House screen time because it is so wholesome and lesson-oriented that I'm like, well, how's this even count?
But he, that's really fun.
but that Hayden, like, we have, like, maybe 20 minutes.
Yeah.
If he has a snack in a movie for 20 minutes, then it's like, all right, I'll take him upstairs
or downstairs or whatnot, but he's just like, hello, family, let's play.
Yeah.
Yeah, and that's fun.
It is.
And it, you know, it's, I have to, in those moments, you know, Colts games on, I'm glued in
and she's up in my business.
I have to remember, like, this, I'm going to be a lot happier being on the floor with
her in four years and I am like checked out only watching the game like hey little baby girl
get away from me like that's crazy so I I we just kind of do it and it's nice my parents are out
here when Jess's parents are out here you know we do have a lot of visitors because we live
far away you know you can kind of pass her off too to play with somebody and they're so down
yeah like we only have one so it's a little different um for us
here's here's the two of them
go close the door and let me have a long time
it is a huge huge difference
you know what we're both kind of at a crappy stage
with like the couch and the baby
because Hayden and you I'm sure
they'll still tumble off the couch
and you still have to worry about that
like if I plop him on my bed
oh he could get a concussion
yeah sure he could break his neck falling off my bed
I mean we've had close calls and it's the scariest
I don't know if you've ever had like
No Hayden fell off the bed
and then Dawson fell off the couch
when he was this edge.
It's the scariest thing.
It rocks your world.
Like, we haven't had a fall yet, but we've had a close call.
Like, oh, my gosh, she started crawling all of a sudden.
We never knew she could.
And now she's at the edge.
And, you know, both of us are diving, like, 10 foot across the floor, like, you know,
the athletes we once were.
Yeah.
It's scary.
And it will rock you.
Your heart rate will race.
And you won't forget it.
And so we have, we've been very cautious of this now.
yeah and little babies are just everywhere like they just tumble around and roll around and
contort themselves and exactly contorting it's it's it's a lot of fun but it's been great and i haven't
traveled in weeks now that's awesome i'm so happy for you yeah i'm feeling very very much like
caught up centered got some good winnie is good winnie time uh in me and so yeah life's
Life's fun, and then we'll pick up back up again here for a little bit before Christmas,
and then we'll come back afterwards, and next year will be a lot slower for me.
Not professionally.
I don't want to say that, but it's going to be a lot slower with travel.
That's my goal.
Okay.
How do I make that happen?
It's good goal.
I don't know.
I was like, how are you not going to slow that professionally, but you're also going to.
I have no clue.
You don't figure it out.
We'll figure it out.
Okay.
Okay, friends, real talk. You are worth the wait. We've all been there, giving our energy to connections that didn't honor ours and watching friends do the same. And honestly, we all deserve better. That's why Bumble is built for intentional dating. Safety is such a big deal for us all, especially when meeting new people. And Bumble gives you the peace of mind with options like photo and ID verification. That little extra step means you know the person you're talking to is who they say they are.
with their real photos, and they are ready to show up authentically.
And once you feel safe, you can actually focus on what matters,
finding someone who gets you.
With shared interests, it's easy to see right away who vibes with your passions,
whether that's true crime podcasts, yoga mornings, or weekend hikes.
So take a pause, affirm your worth, and protect your peace.
Bumble helps you create safe, meaningful connections,
the kind that truly respect your boundaries, your energy, and your time.
Thinking about dating again, take this as your sign.

A decade ago, I was on the trail of one of the country's most elusive serial killers.
But it wasn't until 2023 when he was finally caught.
The answers were there, hidden in plain sight.
So why did it take so long to catch him?
I'm Josh Zeman, and this is Monster, hunting the Long Island serial killer,
the investigation into the most notorious killer in New York,
since the son of Sam, available now.

The most anticipated guest from season three is here, The Trey to My Charlotte.
Kyle McLaughlin joins me to relive all of the magical Trey and Charlotte moments.
He reveals what he thinks of Trey giving Charlotte a cardboard baby.
Why would I bring her a cardboard baby?
I was literally, I was like, this doesn't track for me at all.
When he found out Trey's shortcomings.
I'm kind of excited at talking about, you know, I think he's a guy spends time in Central Park.
You know, he's probably, you know, he'll be some surgery stuff, you know.
And I was like, all this kind of stuff going on.
And they were like, yeah, yeah, yeah, fine.
And they said, but he's impotent.
And I was like, he's impotent.
And why he chose not to return to it just like that.
They came and presented an idea.
And I was like, I get, I see it.
It's so kind of a one joke idea.
Right.

What up, y'all?
It's your boy, Kevin on stage.
I want to tell you about my new podcast called Not My Best Moment, where I talk to artists, athletes, entertainers, creators, friends, people I admire who had massive success about their massive failures.
What did they mess up on?
What is their heartbreak?
And what did they learn from it?
I got judged horribly.
The judges were like, you're trash.
I don't know how you got on the show.
Boo, somebody had tomatoes.
I'm kidding.
But if they had tomatoes, they would have thrown the tomatoes.
Let's be honest.
We've all had those moments we'd rather forget.
We bumped our head.
We made a mistake.
The deal fell through.
We're embarrassed.
We failed.
But this podcast is about that and how we made it through.
So when they sat me down,
And they were kind of like, we got into the small talk.
And they were just like, so what do you got?
What?
What ideas?
And I was like, oh, no.
What?
Check out not my best moment with me, Kevin on stage on the Iheart radio app, Apple podcast, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcast.
Hey, let's dive in the headlines.
A weird switch, because I'm just in a good mood from the holidays, relaxed mood, good mood, cheerful mood.
But we do have some big headlines today that we need to cover.
bachelor nation's carly waddell she gets candid about dating after ending engagement so she entered her
engagement over the summer and now she is like trying to get back in the dating pool she had this
funny moment where she makes fun of herself in this instagram real about how she's attempting to
get back out there she said that there was this cute guy that she saw at a bar she thought they were
making eyes at each other. She was with her sister-in-law and her brother. And she thought that,
you know, she would give her number to the guy, but not write down her name because she didn't
want him to Google her without getting to like meet her in prison. So they left the bar and then
she goes back in with a piece of paper with her number on it. And then he's not at the table anymore,
but his friends or family, they're still there. He must have gone to the bathroom or something.
And instead of saying like, hey, I thought that guy that you were with was cute, she literally like stood in front of the table and then ran outside, just ran back outside and just totally chickened out.
So she's making fun of herself feeling like she's like back in elementary school again.
At the end of it all, her sister-in-law actually went back in, gave the guy her number, and he never called.
Ah!
Well, yeah, he probably didn't know who it was.
no he's like i have a random number from this human that i didn't see me or whatever uh here's
what i'm taking from this celebrities they're just like us you know they get nervous they run from
tables uh they're not as smooth as maybe uh we like to imagine them to be carly you're not alone
in this funny, awkward behavior, goodness, it's awkward.
But you're not alone, and it's wonderful that you got a little nervous.
It's really, you know, it's kind of fun.
It's more fun hearing your friends do it than it is you having to go and take the leap of faith.
But I think in the day and age of Instagram and social media, Ashley, I watch, I mean,
this is one of the reasons why I've backed off so much from social media is I watch
and I'm like, goodness, everybody is more fit than me.
Everybody's smoother than me.
They dress better than me.
It seems like they're driving fancier cars
because they're obviously making so much more money than me.
That's where my mind is like,
it's not as like as appealing as you think.
I think that like your humbleness, your groundedness,
just the fact that you're like a guy's guy
is way more attractive than trying to be smooth.
Yeah, but it makes me envious.
So when we hear these kind of stories where we're like,
oh yeah, Carly stood at a table,
awkwardly why the parents probably looked up at her and was like hello and she's like
bha makes me smile because if you see somebody as approachable and beautiful as carly i would have
been like hi what's up like what are you thinking you're trying to talk to my husband yeah
i'm that could have been why he wasn't responsive oh my gosh we didn't even think of that it's
like oh yeah maybe he's dating somebody yeah and they were sitting there too oh it's funny uh speaking
of dating, we have a really great couple coming out of Bachelor in Paradise this year that we
are catching up with Bachelor in Paradise's couple, Alex and Andrew. They detail their biggest
fight. And Ashley, it's over what I think is still the most common thing couples fight about
today, finances. So funny. This is one thing that Jared and I can't relate to at all. We have
always been so good discussing finances. What about you? Yeah. I mean, we don't ever, well,
Just and I have a very, like, we said, I'd say this is actually a good note that was given to us.
And I think it's a very, like, Christian church note early on our relationship.
We went through like couples, council, or premarital counseling.
And I think, you know, the idea of boundaries and clear communication is helpful in any relationship.
But that was one of the words given to us is, hey, sit down and discuss, like, these four major things and figure out how you're going to do it before you and turn it to them.
marriage and then if you have to adjust along the way great but talk about it when you do and so before
we ever got married we're like okay here's how we're going to do this we're going to have one shared
bank account uh that we both put money into every month we're also going to have our own separate bank
accounts uh that you operate on and i operate on because she runs her own business i run my own
business crossing those two things together will get so confusing and like misconstrued and so
our shared account is where we pay all of our stuff out through,
like all of our life expenses,
dinners, all that stuff.
And then our individual accounts,
like if Jessica wants to go to the store and go on a shopping spree,
she doesn't have to check with me because she is responsible for her own account.
And it actually works out great for us personally.
And we run that through by having separate credit cards and then a shared credit card.
And so things that are shared are paid.
for collectively things that aren't and she needs to go buy more stuff for her skin studio go do
it it's fine it's your it's your business but we talk about a lot we check in once a month and
but i am in charge of our um collective finances mostly because like investments and stuff
yeah yeah investments bill you know bills all that because mostly i i'm well one i'm at my
computer more often she's you know obviously working on people and then two i
I just enjoy it, I think.
And so it was kind of a, hey, yeah, you do that.
And then we kind of go over it every month together
on where our investments are and all that.
That's good.
We just have, I don't have to get into it,
but it's like, thank God for a good accountant
and some good financial advisors.
Because I don't, I'm like,
I think I understand the summary
of what you guys are talking about.
Yeah.
But just like, thank goodness that you're really educated.
on it because I don't want to.
Jared's a little bit more interested in it.
Yeah.
So it works.
But I think the point is, however you want to do it, is clear communication.
Okay.
So they had a fight over this.
Well, they didn't really have a fight over anything very specifically.
They were just saying this is when they do bicker, it often will have to do with this,
which is actually like super interesting to me being that they've only been together for
about six months.
I'd say it's a good sign.
It's a good sign.
And it means that they're taking it very seriously.
Like, they are, if they're talking about each other's finances at six months,
I feel like they're planning a real future together.
Yeah, I think it's amazing.
The worst thing, I mean, obviously, but I feel like Alex during Paradise, right?
Didn't she, wasn't it a big, was it her that had the big, like, student debt that was going to get paid off?
So they use all the money that they won for her student loans, which she has nothing anymore.
And she's really, you know, obviously feels very freed by that.
but and she says that because that's paid off they're able to invest and she said that she never
even imagined herself being able to do that because she thought she was going to be burdened
by the student loans for so long so now that is something that they kind of talk about so he's
kind of like I'm just doing well I know what I'm doing like and then she is kind of like I want
to be retired by this point and then he's like that's not really going to happen anymore this is
like not happening right now people aren't retiring yet
like your dream age.
And then she said, like, none of them hold really grudges over it.
At the end of the argument, they'll be, like, laughing and saying, I love you.
But right now, she's very focused on saving for her future, saving for their future.
And they're not really, they're not really afraid to talk about this stuff.
she said that she was always imagining that somebody was going to be the one to take over finances
to be like a little bit more serious about it to be more of the you and the relationship
and she says that they are both very much on the same page like neither of them are super versed in
it yeah i mean i think that's where you said you then you need to quickly find people that
are talented at it and it's going to be a big life expense it's expensive
to have an accountant. It's expensive of these things. Our accountant is worth everybody. Yeah, it's going to be worth it in the end because one, you're not getting a bill in four years that's like, hey, in 2025, you owe this many back taxes with fines. It's, you know, I think it's a fascinating topic. And obviously, there's people a lot more well versed than I am on it. But I do love that they're having these conversations and that they're trying to navigate it and that they're talking about.
about retirement. I know. Like, they're so promising. Like, this is amazing. They're going to get
married. Ah, let's go. Speaking of Bachelor in Paradise, married couples,
Bachelor in Paradise alum, Mari Pepin, reveals every single cosmetic procedure she's had.
I love this. I went through and did an Instagram real with my sister, like, nine months ago,
about this. Lauren is hilarious. Like, Lauren has had every.
the only thing that she's actually like gone to sleep for is her nose job um but lots of stuff at
the med spot and marie is admitting to basically similar things so that she wanted to get a breast
augmentation when she was 21 it was too expensive so she didn't do that but she did end up getting
them at 27 she also has had filler in her lips and in her under eyes but now she's just doing them
in her lips.
She's doing PRF in her under eyes now,
which is it's kind of like a collagen booster
can also help with dark circles and brightening.
I am going through this and Ben's talk was like,
what are you doing?
I love the transparency stuff.
It's such a thing on Instagram to be transparent
about what you've gotten done.
Thanks to Kylie Jenner.
She really, we love Kylie for that.
Anything else that she's done yet?
She's done Botox and the Mastases.
those are your jaw muscles and you could put them there for aesthetics and TMJ relief
I need to do that creates it no you don't you're a guy you want your jaw muscles to be big
and wide just like Jared's but you do have TMJ yeah I need to figure that out because it's
starting to hurt really just does a buckle massage at her studio it really helps yeah and I do I wear a
night guard every night
Oh, you do wear a nightgoat?
Yeah, but she has this buckle massage.
It's like an inner mouth massage.
It always helps.
You can get a little bit, Ben, a little bit.
But, like, as a guy and, like, I'm, you know, speaking as like I am an aesthetic nurse practitioner or whatever, but I am not.
I would not do that as a guy because you want your jaw to be wide and strong.
I do it.
I love my master of Botox so much.
It really creates a totally different face for me.
I look like so much more feminine and like narrow, because that's what it does.
It'll narrow your jaw because without it, of course, I like my face without it too,
but it's a lot boxier.
It goes from like square to a little bit more hearty.
Okay.
What about what about you, Ben?
I mean, I know.
What have you gotten done?
Yeah, we have some bachelor people, some men that definitely have done their stuff.
it's not at all on my radar
it's just not something one
if there was a
a health benefit to it
if like I could get rid of the grinding
of my teeth or whatever that is
I'd be like I'm interested
it's not that I
look at these dudes I'm like
well in the world one my buddies would never
let me live it down I don't even know who
you're talking about like you think that somebody has
a little bro talks like I don't
it depends on the lines
I don't as long as you're not freezing
yourself who ash are we talking no names no names no names like are we talking from like decade ago or
uh i i think it's been a uh i think it's been an ongoing theme for a decade no way yeah we can just
that's so funny yeah again like it's not i here's my judgmental response when i see it it's
nothing more than how are your buddies letting you do this it's not that i like am like oh no i think
you look good. I do. But who are your friends? Because there is zero chance. I could do it and walk
into a football game with them and them not say something or make me feel so silly.
Like you think that they're like that frozen? That it's just not well done for a guy.
Oh, really? I'm not a fan. I don't need like, I would never want Jared to get Botox either.
That would be like so weird. But I'm just thinking like, is there somebody or there's people that have done it so
obviously that's super interesting
Mm-hmm
Okay, what do you know
what just gets done?
She doesn't get any Botox
She doesn't get any Botox?
She used to
Because she has an eyebrow
That was like lower than the other
Or something
Is that a thing?
Wait, she has one by nature
That's lower than the other?
Yeah, so she get it
But she doesn't, one, she's breastfeeding still
So she doesn't do anything
Yeah
She does
I mean, I don't
The only thing I know she does
At least, and she would
obviously tell me right now is she lathers up with about eight different things every night before bed
and then she tapes her face this has been a new theme in our house. She told me she gave me the face tape
which I loved the face tape for a minute thinking that it was helping with the sleep wrinkle that
I get overnight because like if you put your face on your pillow like this then like you get
this a wrinkle by your nose because your cheek is like slamming into your nose. But then the
tape didn't really work.
What actually really works is this amazing pillow that also helps with, like, neck and back pain.
I love it.
Yeah.
No, I mean, every night before bed, she has, like, four pieces of tape, and that's just marriage.
It's marriage.
It's beautiful.
It's wonderful.
Should I go through what I have?
Or you want to move on.
Do you think so?
I don't know.
I don't know what this all means.
I think you did.
Tell us what you've had.
I would love to know.
Okay.
So obviously, I do Botox in my forehead.
I only need to do it like twice a year.
I don't know.
My forehead's really trained to not move so much, I guess,
because before Botox, holy crap,
I have the Masseter Talks.
And then I have my lips filled.
I do it like once every other year.
Like maybe like once every year and a half.
I also, so then the last time I had them done was,
was it two years ago?
No.
It has to be a year.
ago. And then I have my under eyes filled a little bit. Just for like a little divot. I don't really ever
have like bad dark circles. But I haven't done that for two years. And then I do have filler in my
temples, which I need to actually get evened out. They're a little awkward right now. They're a little
off. And then I have the tiniest bit of filler right now and like on like all my cheekbone.
Like just a couple little drops
And I kind of go back and forth
On what I do again and what I don't do again
But I'm pretty happy with what I got right now
Is there anything in the future you're planning on?
No, I wouldn't go beyond that
Okay
I also wouldn't want like any
The cheek filler, I am really, really not a fan
Typically of cheek filler
But I trust anything that my esthetic
My girlie, she's not an esthetic
She's a nurse
Will suggest to me
And I was like, you know, honestly
you could just do whatever you want.
Just, just, oh, chin filler.
That's my big filler.
If I had, but let's just go to the top of the conversation really quickly, ma'am.
If I really could only do two things, it would always be the forehead talks and the chin filler.
Okay.
And then number three would probably be the jaw talks.
And that's it.
That, that's my go-to.
Yeah, lip filler, crap.
now we're adding on but that is important every few years but i really don't it's over time
the lips keep the collagen in them from the filler it's like a permanent scar kind of in the best
way so even if i were to stop doing it altogether my lips would naturally be bigger than they
were before i ever started and those are my four things okay moving on he's like can we get off
of this no i mean i'm i'm i'm listening i don't know if i've understood anything
you just said, but I'm listening.
Your wife is in aesthetics.
She's in aesthetics, yes.
But it's not, I don't think it's like that kind of, I don't know.
Well, she's got a talks girl there.
She's got a, she does.
She's going to feel her girl there.
Jess runs a whole system.
She's great.
Her little business is great.
She probably, I don't think, Jess looks no different than when she started, but that's the
whole thing.
Shout out to Higgie skin.
Yes.
Higgy skin.
Higgy skin.
When did she change?
change from a year and a half ago.
Higgie skin? Why did she switch?
Because this is a little bit of a catchier name, right? Higgins. Higgy. Higgy skin.
No, it's cute. It's cute. And you can use it for branding purposes for future advancements in her business.
Okay, great. I love this. She's a smart chick. She gets it.
Okay, friends, real talk.
You are worth the weight.

A decade ago, I was on the trail of one of the country's most elusive serial killers,
but it wasn't until 2023 when he was finally caught.
The answers were there, hidden in plain sight.
So why did it take so long to catch him?
I'm Josh Zeman, and this is Monster, hunting the Long Island serial killer,
the investigation into the most notorious killer in New York,
since the son of Sam, available now.

from season three is here. The Trey to My Charlotte. Kyle McLaughlin joins me to relive all of the
magical Trey and Charlotte moments. He reveals what he thinks of Trey giving Charlotte a cardboard
baby. Why would I bring her a cardboard baby? I was literally, I was like, this doesn't track for me at all.
When he found out Trey's shortcomings.
I'm kind of excited at talking about, you know, I think he's a guy spends time in Central Park.
You know, he's probably, you know, there'll be some surgery stuff, you know, and I was like, all this kind of stuff going on.
And they were like, yeah, yeah, yeah, fine.
And they said, but he's impotent.
And I was like, he's impotent.
And why he chose not to return to it just like that.
They came and presented an idea, and I was like, I get, I see it.
It's so kind of a one joke idea.
Right.
You don't want to miss this.

What up, y'all?
It's your boy, Kevin on stage.
I want to tell you about my new podcast called Not My Best Moment,
where I talk to artists, athletes, entertainers, creators, friends,
people I admire who had massive success about their massive failures.
What did they mess up on?
What is their heartbreak?
And what did they learn from it?
I got judged horribly.
The judges were like, you're trash.
I don't know how you got on the show.
boo somebody had tomatoes
I'm kidding
but if they had tomatoes
they would have thrown the tomatoes
let's be honest
we've all had those moments
we'd rather forget
we bumped our head
we made a mistake
the deal fell through
we're embarrassed
we failed
but this podcast is about that
and how we made it through
so when they sat me down
they were kind of like
we got into the small talk
and they were just like so what do you got
what ideas and I was like oh no
what
check out not my best moment with me

Chelsea Vong gets candid about an ongoing health issue she's been having.
I don't know if I knew this.
I saw this Instagram pop up on my feed and I'm not sure if I even follow her,
but it was definitely something that was getting a lot of traction on social media.
So she is officially moving out of New York.
New York City for good. She kind of was debating this for a while. She moved out and lived in
Mexico City for a while. She got in a new relationship, but now the relationship is no longer,
so she's moving out of New York. But she just said that there's like something going on,
and she can't really figure out what it is. She said she's got blood drawn. She's doing a full
blood panel to see what's going on. She's been wearing a scarf lately because all of her hair
keeps falling out on a very alarming
rate. She did see a dermatologist
in New York and she was getting some answers
but she wants to
make sure that there's nothing going on
that's deeper. She's still
waiting for the results. She may have had them but she
hasn't reported on them yet.
But yeah, her hair is
like falling out in
different, like she's
seeing like holes in her, you know,
in her hair line or in her hair
her head.
And that's awful.
She just said that she's getting really self-conscious
And she's to the point where she's
She's just like embarrassed to go out without her scarf
Yeah, it's tough.
I mean, and we've talked about it here
When it comes to things like Lyme disease and parasites
And all those things, you know,
it's weird in today's medical world
How many mysteries there still are
When somebody's like, I don't feel good
My hair is falling out
Something's wrong
And how hard it is to identify
what it is that's going wrong.
So I hope for her sake, she can figure that out.
But it's scary and it's frustrating.
And you probably don't feel good.
But that's the update.
We'll try to follow back up on that.
Do you remember that girl that we had on who went overseas to get like a month-long
treatment for Lyme disease and has been fine ever since?
That was Daisy.
Yeah.
Yeah, Daisy went on and did a thing in Germany.
that's becoming more and more popular for people with Lyme disease.
It's like it heats up the shells, the lime shells, breaks them up,
and then you put in antibiotics and it kills them.
Yeah.
Remember her body temperature went down to like 70 or something?
Yeah.
So it's a really wild treatment, but it's working.
It's expensive.
Obviously, it takes travel to go to it.
But it's also, you need to know that that's what you have going on before you can really go.
And in Lyme disease is kind of hard.
to be, you know, it's not identified yet.
There's so much there.
Ashley, it's frustrating when it comes to Lyme disease.
Hannah Ann shares the gender and special meeting behind her baby's name.
Just kind of mention it, but congratulations to Hannah Ann and her husband football player,
Jake Funk, on the birth of their first child.
They got married just an Italian countryside last year if you missed that.
But Ashley, they did have their first baby.
gender and name
it's a boy they never talked about
on social media while there's a girl or a boy
his name is Lucas James Funk
he was born on November 20th
and there's a special name
there's a special meaning behind the name
he is Lucas
because they got engaged in
Cabo St. Lucas
and James
is after Jake's dad who
passed away a year or so ago
that was so sad to hear about
And she said, Lucas, James, you are a dream come true.
We'll cheer you on for the rest of our lives.
We love you, big boy.
He is so cute.
And I loved seeing Jake's face in the content that she posted when the baby was coming out.
It was hilarious.
We're very excited for the two of them.
Obviously, this is a couple that so many of us know and love.
And he's a former cult.
So we got to love that guy.
You just got to love them.
All right.
Final headline of today, Crystal Nielsen.
She shares an update after an incredibly tough week in the Nick U.
Ashley, you and I mentioned this during our last headlines,
but we didn't have much context yet.
It had kind of been kept quiet for her own personal reasons,
but we're going to need a little more information,
and we promised the listeners we'd follow up with it.
Yeah, so she posted a really cute picture of the family Thanksgiving themed, you know,
saying that after an incredibly tough week, Rowan was discharged to the NICU last night and
we're all home together at last.
Emotions are hard to put into words, trauma, grief, overwhelming gratitude, all tangled together.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every prayer message and every little bit of love that
you sent our way.
We're being held by our family and close friends in this amazing online community.
and it has meant more than you'll ever know during one of the hardest weeks we've ever faced.
But everyone now is healthy, stable, and home, and we're so, so grateful.
And now the gentle work of healing begins.
I'm sure she'll kind of detail.
I mean, maybe she won't, but maybe she will.
But obviously, something happened in the birth that was incredibly scary.
And we're just so glad everything has worked out and everybody's doing well.
Yeah, I mean, she doesn't obviously have to.
Yeah, she doesn't have to at all.
I'd be lying if I said I'm not interested or at least curious, but I'm glad.
I mean, that final note is so valuable, that everybody's home, happy, and healthy.
That is a gift that we just cannot ignore.
Well, that's all the headlines we have for you this week.
We'll be back more this week with some breakdowns of stories that are happening in the headlines.
So stay tuned to listen to those.
In addition to that, we'll have some interviews.
We'll also get more Frankie Fridays going for you as we break down and get excited for this upcoming season of The Bachelorette.
