Starting point is 00:00:00 This is an I-Heart podcast. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, my name is Enya Umanzor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD... Oh, my God, perfect.
Starting point is 00:00:55 And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble. Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free IHeartRadio app. Search Emergency Intercom and listen now. What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Starting point is 00:01:17 Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced. He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you. Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Everyone thinks they'd never join a cult. But it happens all the time to people just like you. And people just like us. I'm Lola Blanc.
Starting point is 00:01:45 And I'm Megan Elizabeth. We're the host of Trust Me, a podcast about cults, manipulation, and the psychology of belief. Each week we talk to fellow survivors, former believers, and experts to understand why people get pulled in and how they get out. Trust me.
Starting point is 00:02:00 New episodes every Wednesday on Exactly Right. Listen wherever you get your podcasts. This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcasts with IHartRadio. Welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. We are back and we are bringing the content. Yes, we are celebrating, right, Ashley? We are celebrating the premiere week of The Bachelor? Yes, we are.
Starting point is 00:02:26 We are dancing in our minds like Clayton Eckerd, his Instagram. We make fun of Clayton too much, Ben. I'm not making fun of them. I'm saying I'm dancing in my mind like he's dancing on Ziska. He's dancing. He's dancing. He's happy.
Starting point is 00:02:43 And he's happy. And you love dancing too. Because we all know that you dance on my Instagram. Yeah. I'm all for it. Let's go. Let's just dance. Let's move the hips.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Okay. Let's dive into headlines right now. We've got some big headlines this week. The first one was Peter Weber kind of. started the week with what people were calling a bombshell headline not that bombshell to me I did the same thing but Peter Weber sneaking iPads on his season is the headline uh yeah you did that yeah some of the hotel rooms would have iPads and you just get on the internet on the iPads in the hotel room I told you about that it's it's not that hard like it's not that it's not a big
Starting point is 00:03:25 headline but I just don't think people have heard it before Yeah, like my sister snuck in her phone, but she was an idiot because she forgot her charger. So she ended up being like, she was like, Alon, I have a problem. I need your charge. That's not smart. And then one time Lauren walked in on Tenley in the bathroom on her iPad. So why the iPad and not the phone, just a little bit, it's like a downgrade because you can't really make, well, you can make FaceTime calls on it. So what's the difference?
Starting point is 00:03:58 Why iPad not phone? I think it's just access. So like what was available, you know, like it would be great. For you, because it was in the hotel room, yeah. Sure, yeah. Yeah, well, the other headline we have is, this is juicy. Do you see this? This is a big headline.
Starting point is 00:04:17 Caitlin and Zach spotted in New York City having dinner, and they definitely weren't hiding anything. Like, they were dancing and showing up. so we there's a tic-tok out there and some girls wrote i think it was on a reddit board and then the ticotker picked it up said that she was this girl was having a girls night in the west village when one of her friends spotted kately and zach at the corner table of the restaurant they saw us looking and glared at us a little bit they were super cozy and cuddly and started even sitting on the same side of the booth at one point and taking a lot of photos that were self-timed.
Starting point is 00:05:00 I mean, Ashley, is this shocking to you? No, no, but I was really uncertain how this was going to go since Caitlin seemed upset
Starting point is 00:05:11 about everything about New Year's Eve coming out. So I wasn't sure whether they were going to cool it, but they're definitely not scared to be out and about. I think, I mean,
Starting point is 00:05:20 I'm guessing it was kind of like a soft launch. That video was like frustrating because it wasn't on their timing and it wasn't how they wanted to do it. But then now that it's out, I'm guessing they're saying, hey, whatever, let's go. Like, no reason to stop now. Yeah. And we'll see whether this was like an arranged New York trip to see him or whether this was a trip where she had already had to be there. And then she just happened to have dinner with him because there's a big difference there.
Starting point is 00:05:48 And it was also his 40th birthday this weekend. Oh, so birthday. if it's a birthday trip that's serious okay well more headlines uh we're keeping up with the golden bachelor girls uh the women take a
Starting point is 00:06:07 girl's trip to St. Martin in New York city together so it looks like Kathy Susan and Nancy they all went to St. Martin together and Kathy and Susan record a video saying
Starting point is 00:06:22 we miss our A and ask in Askin. That's like their little acronym for their group of friends, Kathy, Susan, Nancy, and April. She said, April, we wish you didn't have to work this weekend. And then another Golden Bachelor hang
Starting point is 00:06:38 was happening in New York City. That was between Natasha, Anna, Jeannie, and Peggy. And they all met up in the Big Apple for Girls' Night. Natasha was on her Instagram going, The Golden Ladies, a.K. Sisterwives, had another day,
Starting point is 00:06:53 another lovely day of togetherness we had a blast moving through new york city yes it was cold but we're definitely committed to sharing quality time together and making it happen it's really nice that they're hanging out and i do have a feeling actually they are going to be friends for a long time yeah they really are friends for the rest of their lives i i really appreciate it uh well speaking about being together for the rest of your lives abigail and noah revealed that they started wedding planning and discussing having kids. So they got engaged in August and they've been documenting the update of their new home in Tulsa.
Starting point is 00:07:32 It's been fun to watch that on Instagram. And they asked, we had an Instagram question, you know, in a Q&A, asking if they had started wedding planning yet. Abigail just said, yes, had a little smiley emoji. And then during the Q&A, they were also asked about kids. And she said 100% in their future. I love being an auntie-in-law or as my or as the kids call me uncle Abby, which is obviously an inside joke. But eventually they hope to have kids of their own.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Final headline today. We're keeping up with Gary and Teresa, obviously coming off of their wedding just a few short weeks ago. Their beautiful romance is continuing. And the headline reads how the golden bachelors, Gary Turner and Teresa are already creating their rosy journey quote rosy okay well we all know that their first date was at a diner so they documented them going to a diner in jersey jersey is known for their diners and teresa is from jersey and it seems like they might just be making that home right now they did make mention of moving down to south carolina charleston but they seem to be spending a lot of time
Starting point is 00:08:47 in Teresa's neck of the woods and this is the state of diners like I mentioned I think there is 530 diners in New York and Gary said that Teresa took him to one of the best but now they have 529
Starting point is 00:09:06 to go will be busy through June 2025 so I guess like it's a goal but by June 2025 they're going to visit all the diners in New Jersey, which is a really fun, sort of attainable goal. But that's like eating out
Starting point is 00:09:26 like pretty much every single day, right? Until June of 2025. It is. It is. But I'm telling you, I mean, this, you know, this could be, but like when you get older, I think you like eating out more. Like, I don't think you does, I mean, I think people like to eat at home sometimes, but like it could be a fun little mix-up of life to get out, you know, to get out and explore. Yeah. And you can just like get a piece of pie, you know, you don't have to have a full-blown meal at every one of these places. A little milkshake and pie just like they like.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Hey, Ashley, that's all the headlines we have for you, but I'm telling you right now this week, we have some incredible episodes. We have the episode breaking down the first episode of The Bachelor. We also have out almost good advice. We are cranking them out, all for you and us, because we love. doing them.
