This is Ben and Ashley I, almost famous in depth. One of a Bachelor Nation's favorite contestants of all time. I mean, she shined. She has a lasting power. I think she'll be around a while.
Starting point is 00:02:47 And I respect this person because she's using her platform for something greater than herself. Ashley, tell everybody who we have on today for our. a mini in depth. We have Madison Pruitt from Peter's season. You guys remember Madison and Peter and wow, did they have some sort of complicated relationship at the end of that season. But she has been, you know, on her own ever since. It's been sad that we didn't get to see hers very quickly afterward, you know, like
Starting point is 00:03:18 in a paradise type of situation because normally, you know, we'd see our favorite girls go to paradise before we know it. And no, it feels like we haven't talked to Maddie in a while, so I'm excited to get her on the phone. Yeah, you know, Madison, this is a great thing for us because I think Madison is going to be on this podcast in the future many times. And we're going to get to know her really well through this podcast, which is always fun for us. But today's great because we just, we're going to get her for about 20 minutes. And we're going to break down some of the stuff that she's up to right now where her life is at. I mean, you know, it's not often that somebody comes off the show and you have full confidence that they're going to use their platform for something good.
Starting point is 00:04:01 And it was like with Madison, it was like known to everybody, like right away. Like no matter who you are, you're like, this girl is going to shine and she's going to make this world a better place by the platform that the bachelor has given her. And that's exciting. And I really, I think this is going to be a really fun interview. So without further ado, let's bring on Madison Pruitt to the almost famous mini in-depth. Hey, Maddie. What's up, guys? How are you all?
Starting point is 00:04:29 We are good. How are you? So good. Getting into the festive holiday Christmas spirit. Madison, I got to tell you something real quick. You're one of my favorite people to ever come on this show, first off. Second off, I went home with my fianc. family, and I'm sure you get this all the time. But my fiance was like, hey, if Maddie is
Starting point is 00:04:56 single, my brother, who plays professional baseball, so he's, he's equipped. Please set him up. And I was like, hon, I have no clue how to do that. Like, I have zero, like, I have zero way of doing that without just being super weird and creepy. But it's a compliment to you because you're loved by the Clark household. You know, okay, you know what? I've actually been told that I look like you're fiance. Yes, that's what I was going to say. It would be too weird if like the two of them were in the same family because then it may be like Maddie's dating like her brother like in a brother. It's like you look way too much. Your girlfriend looks way too much like your sister. Well, it's a compliment. It's a compliment. Well, thank you. That is very, very sweet. You guys are also two people that I look up to a
Starting point is 00:05:46 whole lot and I feel like you guys have done so much with your platforms and just taking just like taking so much from the show and just letting it make you a better person and just continuing to grow that and use that to influence other people for the good. So I'm thankful for both of you and even I guess I've never met either of you in person, which is kind of crazy to me. But hopefully hopefully one day soon. We didn't have the opportunity to meet you in person because by the time you were free. We couldn't see people in real life. So crazy. But, you know, we do what we got to do through Zoom. Well, hey, we, as we mentioned a second ago, we do have Madison Pruitt on the Almost Famous In-Depth. You know, there's a lot we want to tackle today, Madison. A lot of what
Starting point is 00:06:37 you're doing with the world before you came on, I had just mentioned that, you know, as you just kind of, I guess, mirrored, you are using your platform to help others. But, But we do have to dive into a few things before we really go into what you're doing to help the world and to invest into people. An in-depth episode, and we always do this, is really just to get to know you a little bit better. There's no angle at this. It's just, hey, we just want to get to know you. And you're somebody we've always been excited to have on. So, Ashley, take it away.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Oh, man, Maddie, where do we start with your childhood? So let's talk about basketball for a second. You won four high school state titles. you were an all-star player your dad was a coach is it weird that you didn't end up going pro or was it just a fun hobby oh no oh no i don't feel like i i was at that level you know i i really enjoyed it in high school a lot and i still am super involved in the sports world like a lot very much so and i actually every single summer my dad has me helping the basketball basketball camps to Auburn University basketball camps. And so it's, that's always so fun because
Starting point is 00:07:48 all these, like, I think it's like 15 and younger or something like that, you know, all these kids, like guys are like coming in and then my dad will call me up and be like, all right, Maddie, my daughter's going to lead the camp or whatever. And all these kids are looking at me like, dude, this girl. And I'll be like, all right, fine. You don't think I can do it. Let's, let's play one on one. And then, you know, most of the time I win, unless they're like really good. But, um, so So that's been, that's been fun. But no, I didn't ever really consider playing after high school. I kind of used to see.
Starting point is 00:08:21 I grew up in the gym. That was literally, I ate club, breathed basketball from a very young age. My dad, I coached girls and boys all throughout high school. So off the gym all the time, traveling with the team at the fans and all that stuff. So, yes. So we know that you were linked with a basketball player over the past. few months. I'm not going to ask you too much to go to in depth here, but like, are you single? Would you consider yourself single? Um, I'm just trying to think of how to answer this.
Starting point is 00:08:58 I, I am just really, I don't know. And maybe you guys can understand this. But ever since I came off the show, like, I guess because in, because it's all about relationships, obviously on the show. and so like having your relationship so in the spotlight was just very interesting um you know when i came off the show i kind of made a promise to myself like okay if i get in another relationship i'm going to one take it very very slow and two i'm going to make sure like that i have time before i ever go public of it and announce it so i've been super private about my relationship life, I guess. But when I win and if I'm ready to go public, you guys will be the first to know.
Starting point is 00:09:51 I'm going to call you, athlete. Oh, that's so sweet. Well, you know, it's true, though, because you have this thing. So my fiancee now and I dated and we didn't have the benefit that Ashley and Jared had. I guess we did have the benefit because they were very public. But like we had dated for four months before I said. anything publicly because it puts a lot of pressure on one but it can't be easy for you because you come off the show and as I mentioned at the beginning of your interview like you are every
Starting point is 00:10:23 parent's dream for their son like you are like you are every parent out there was like hey I would love if my son dated Madison like that would be fantastic let's sit her up and so it probably gets like I'm you tell me was it overwhelming uh because it's not like you're you lived your whole life with like people just like always asking you to date maybe you did i don't know and i actually was in a relationship for like four years before the show i i mean i had a year gap where i didn't date at all um after that relationship before i went on the show so i really haven't been in many relationships with something that i i do take super seriously and i take really slow um but yeah i would say after the show it's just it's overwhelming in a lot
Starting point is 00:11:12 of different ways, you know, you're getting a lot at you in a great way. But yeah, just a lot that's new, that you're not needed to. And so I would say, you know, as different people were reaching out, for me, it's just I always, I don't know, I've never been one to just be like, oh, I'm just going to like how fun and just like date to date. Like I've always take relationships super seriously, you know, and trying to feel you on that. like you know i'm just like i don't know i'm about to be 25 like i don't want to waste my time you know i i want to date with the intent to marry and so if that's my goal then you know really feeling that first and out making sure our morals our values things like that
Starting point is 00:11:56 really line up and then you know just taking it slow and figuring it out as long as you go um so yeah i would say like any any dudes that were reaching out like it was really just me kind of figuring out like i don't really want to entertain this unless you know you have the kind of part that i'm looking here so i had to date as a virgin for a long time and i was always waiting for the right time and i found it to be a little bit more difficult than my other friends how do you find dating as somebody who's waiting for marriage um i guess for me um i really really, I don't know, like for me, it doesn't really, I mean, I guess, yeah, I guess it does, like change is different than I guess, I don't know. I'm trying to think of like how to
Starting point is 00:12:47 create this. I mean, for me, I never really saw it. Like, that just was just who, that's just who I am and just like how it's always been for me. So I've, you know, never really known the flip side of it. And I guess for me, it's just, okay, this is who I am. And I, I don't want to be with anyone that that doesn't see me for who I am and love that about me. And so for that reason, And, you know, I see it as like, it's a beautiful thing and it's a gift that I am waiting for, you know, for that right person and for the person that I'm married to. And so because of that, you know, for me, I see it. Because I think it can be seen a lot of different ways. And maybe you experience this, you know, when people would ask you about it. But I think for me, there's, I get so many questions. And I think like it's just so interesting to hear, you know, other people's, I always love hearing other people's opinions and sides, you know, regarding different things. And. And I think, like, it's just so interesting. And I think, like, it's just so interesting to hear, you know, you know, you know, And, you know, for a lot of people see it as like, oh, is it, is it really hard or is it, you know, a huge sacrifice? Is it something, you know, this or that? And of course, it's not easy, but at the end of the day, to me, I don't see it as like this huge thing that I'm having to, like, give up rather I see it as this, like, amazing thing that I get to one day have that I'm just waiting to have the best person for me.
Starting point is 00:14:02 And so that's really how I view it. of course there's going to be some probably relationships or guys that might not have the same you know perspective and then if that's the case then that relationship might not you know work out but I guess for me like if I'm looking for relationships you know now I'm probably already looking for someone who doesn't necessarily have to have the exact same you know life experiences that I've had like I don't expect him to be like a virgin and like all this stuff But I do think that it is important that we share, you know, the same vision in that way and that we can really honor each other in that way. It's really awesome. Well, I know you spoke to a lot of people during your time on the show. And you did in a great way. You did in a way that was not judgmental, that was freeing that clearly said what you're about. And I know it spoke to Ashley. And then my fiance, obviously, has the exact same.
Starting point is 00:15:03 story and it's been a huge thing in our relationship not always easy and a lot of times it sucks um but it's the right thing for us and uh it's been the best thing for us and i know that gift is one that you help kind of clear the clear the way for so hey madison i do want to roll in here because you are up to a lot right now and i know you have a partnership with world vision and uh and world vision is a tremendous organization that uh in fact has been a great support to to the causes that I've worked with. They are a massive organization. So I want to give a little idea who of World Vision is.
Starting point is 00:15:39 They're one of the largest NGOs in the world and distribute funds and also care for those in need. Madison, tell anybody out there what your partnership is with World Vision and what you're hoping out of it. Yeah, so I was actually thinking about this earlier. It really is like the coolest connection to me because for me, the first experience I actually had with World Vision I was in college and I was at a concert with some of my friends and I can just like remember this so vividly but I was sitting
Starting point is 00:16:12 I was sitting in the concert in my seat and it was intermission and everyone was leaving so they like you know dreams and jack things like that and some people from World Vision came came out on stage and they were sharing the heart the vision and you know they were showing videos and sharing the stories of lives that they've impacted and I just broke down in tears and I just started crying and I am not I do not cry like I am not an emotional person and so all my friends around me were like dude are you okay and I just remember in that moment just being so broken and just having such a heart and feeling so connected to world vision and I just remember I turned to my friends and I was like this like this this this this is it this is what
Starting point is 00:16:53 I want to be a part of this is why I was put on this earth like I want to be a part of this in some way And so it's so great for me to look back to six or seven years ago, you know, when I had that moment and then being kind of like at this place where World Vision reached out. And we talked about a partnership and doing some things together. It's just such a surreal moment that I had, you know, six or seven years ago that I just knew that I would do something with this organization and just really their art and their mission. But also like the numbers of lives that they've changed is just it's unreasonable. And so, you know, it's a big part of my heart and my passion and also my family. And that's kind of just like how I was raised and just like what I grew up, just wanting to do and wanting to be a part of in the foster care system for a little bit. And so I had like a tiny bit, you know, of experience just in, you know, that world. And so when they reached out, it was just like an immediate yes for me. I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. And especially around the holiday times and with everything that's going on in our world.
Starting point is 00:17:58 in the middle of this pandemic, just being able to be a part of something and to talk about this holiday gift catalog and how people can purchase gifts that really are empowering kids and changing lives forever. And I think that's so powerful. You know, we're going to be giving gifts anyway. We're going to be buying gifts anyways. We might as well buy one that's going to literally change the trajectory of someone's life and change communities. So that's just a little bit of it, but I'm just really excited about it and really honored to just be a part of it. Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this Attention passengers, the pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone to land this plane.
Starting point is 00:18:45 Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control. And they're saying like, okay, pull this, do this, pull that, turn this. It's just... I can do my eyes closed. I'm Mani. I'm Noah. This is Devon.
Starting point is 00:19:01 And on our new show, No Such Thing, we get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. And then, as we try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. I'm looking at this thing. See?
Starting point is 00:19:24 Listen to No Such Thing on the I Heart Radio. Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, my name is Enya Humanzor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom. If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you. But if you have unmedicated ADHD... Oh my God, perfect.
Starting point is 00:19:49 And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble. Yes, yes. Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you. Open your free. free iHeartRadio app, search emergency intercom, and listen now. What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth? Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
Starting point is 00:20:15 He said, you are a number, a New York state number, and we own you. Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. These programs aimed to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs. Mark had one chance to complete this program and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months. The first night was so overwhelming, and you don't know who's next to you.
Starting point is 00:20:51 And we didn't know what to expect in the morning. Nobody tells you anything. Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio, app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Your entire identity has been fabricated. Your beloved brother goes missing without a trace. You discover the depths of your mother's illness, the way it has echoed and reverberated throughout your life, impacting your very legacy.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Hi, I'm Danny Shapiro. And these are just a few of the profound and powerful stories I'll be mining on our 12th season of Family Secrets. Listen to Family Secrets, Season 12. on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:22:02 My name is Ed. Everyone say, hello, Ed. Hello, Ed. I'm from a very rural background myself. My dad is a farmer, and my mom is a cousin. So, like, it's not like... What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke, but that really was my reality nine years ago. I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different.
Starting point is 00:22:24 On stage stood a community. comedian with a story that no one expected to hear. Well, 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man had killed his family. And then he came to my house. So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? A new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage. Available now. Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Well, I know we only have a few minutes here with you left, and we do have to get Ashley's most famous segment in before you let you go. But Madison, I do want to ask you to kind of close this off. Two-part question. One, where can people go to get involved to purchase these gifts to help out? The second is, you kind of mentioned it, but you know, you were in college not that long ago, sitting at a concert, hearing about World Vision, going, hey, I want to help out because I believe in what they're doing. I like this idea. And then you find yourself a few years later with a massive platform and that men and women everywhere are following your lead and listening to you
Starting point is 00:23:45 and that you have a voice that's always mattered, but a voice that's now that's heard a lot more than it was before. what does it feel like for you to know that you're not only just helping but you have a massive part in moving the needle to fight injustice through the avenues of World Vision because of the show and because of what the show kind of gave you first of all let's cry so it's fine just moving to me the tears over here Ben it's fine I mean really it's it's it's just humbling like all right I'm like getting emotional but it's just it's just humble that we get to all play whatever your role looks like we get to all play a role in making a difference and adding value to people and that's that's the whole point like that's the whole reason that we're on this earth and so really it's just super humbling to um to be a part of it and yeah to have a voice um and i was doing these sort of things before the show but like you said now that it's out a place where it is a bigger platform and and my voice is amplified to be able to
Starting point is 00:24:51 you inspire and encourage people, your life matters and you were called to make a difference in other lives. Like, that's just, that's just amazing to be able to share that with people. And so, yeah, I think, and then with World Vision, again, like I said, it's always been such a big part of my heart. And they have so many amazing things that you can be a part of in so many ways you can give during the holiday, but even outside of the holiday season. But right now, the holiday gifts catalog, there's so many different gifts that you can look into. They have goats, which is like the coolest thing ever to me that you can literally purchase a goat for like 85 bucks. And it goes so far. It literally can change a life in family's life, in a community.
Starting point is 00:25:32 And it just a little goes a long way with these gifts. And so they have so many different gifts you can choose from the tangible gifts. Like I'm wearing one of the rings right now from the gift catalog. And it's just a lot to choose from a lot of different ways that you can get plugged in and involved. But you can go to worldvision.org and browse that, um, that holiday. a day catalog and just, you know, choose, choose a gift that would be with you. And then, boom, you're making a difference. Well, that beautifully transitions into my rapid fire. Because my first question is, what is your favorite gift to give as part of the World's Vision gift catalog? Is it the goat? Honestly, I think it might be the goat. I mean, I think it's just so cool. Like,
Starting point is 00:26:17 if you think about buying an animal, like, I don't think about buying an animal. to know that like you can literally spend 85 bucks like I I you know would buy a shirt two shirts whatever for $85 so I can buy a for $85 and a little bit goes a long way like I said like these these goats can produce up to like 16 cups of milk a day and the family that can be used to sell and give away in the community around you and so it's just so cool to me to see like how World Vision literally makes every single dollar count and like I said just like the little goes so long, like such a long way. So I would probably say the goat, um, or, or the jewelry. I do love, I love jewelry personally and it just like serves as just like
Starting point is 00:26:59 reminder every time you wear it like, hey, I'm a part of something bigger than me and I'm making a difference. So I would probably say one of those two things, but probably the go. All right. So from your favorite, your top pick for gifts to your top pick for Tasia. Who are you rooting for? I honestly, okay, see, this is. where this is where I struggle because I honestly like I get so nervous answering this question because it always made me like really really like I don't know when people answered this when I was on my season it was kind of like hurtful and people like you know so I really truly and just I think she has some incredible guys on there and I think she has such a good head
Starting point is 00:27:42 on her shoulders and she is just one of the most genuine people I've ever seen and so I know like for a fact that she's going to choose the person that really compliments her well and that's going to push her and make her better. She's had some really real and like raw conversations, which I think is so cool. Like you can get lost in just the hype of everything and the like emotional high of everything on the show. And so I always love seeing the really raw and real conversations. And so I'm very interested to see who she picks. I, I never like saying like, I don't know, I just think I feel so bad. I never like saying like, that's very serious. sweet of you.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Rooting for, yeah, I know. But like, but I don't know. So I just, I'm just rooting for Tasia. I'm just rooting for her and her happiness and just for her to find the person that is going to be the best fit for her, like, whatever that looks like. Good answer. Okay. I know we have second slap with you.
Starting point is 00:28:38 So we're just going to do like one word answers to the rest of this. What was the game that you, you ended up winning $8,000 on the prices right from? called put it in the bag put it in the bag what is your favorite holiday drink hot chocolate what's your favorite Christmas movie and I know that you've answered this question
Starting point is 00:29:00 on multiple podcasts but I think we all need to be reminded of the answer what's your favorite mascara so okay it's actually not a one-word answer because the truth the truth is I really use like 10 different mascara because I'm so picky about my lashes. And I try and get that like perfect look that I'm going for. So I actually use a bunch of different mask. I like tart, Mabeline. It cause, I mean, just like a ton of different ones. Mabelene is my favorite. And I'm always like drugstore
Starting point is 00:29:33 mascara is where it's at. Thank you so much, Maddie, for being here with us. We really appreciate you have such a sweet soul. Hey, best of luck again. Go to World Vision. dot org to purchase the gifts. Madison Pruitt, thank you so much. Yes, thank you guys. You guys are awesome. See ya. Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this. Attention passengers. The pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone to land this plane. Think you could do it? It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control.
Starting point is 00:30:18 And they're saying like, okay, pull this. Do this. Pull that. Turn this. It's just, I can do my eyes close. I'm Manny. I'm Noah. This is Devin. And on our new show, no such thing, we get to the bottom of questions like these. Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence. Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise. And then, as we try the whole thing out for real. Wait, what? Oh, that's the run right. Starting point is 00:33:38 this was the choice he faced. He said, You are a number, a New York State number, and we own you. Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. Well, it's awesome having and Madison Pruitt on the episode.
Starting point is 00:36:37 We'll hover on many times later on, and it's going to be great. We're going to know Madison really well. But we do want to break down everything going on currently in Bachelor Nation. So here's the first headline. The Bachelor at Hometown Dates will be live from La Kinta. This is crazy. I mean, it's also no surprise. Like, we know that the families are going to come here.
Starting point is 00:36:56 Actually, what's surprising is that they're even flying the families in. I thought there was going to be no hometown dates. I thought what they were going to do was kind of like what they did for Caitlin's season. and fly the families in that were for the top two because I was like that's a lot of families to come and fly in into quarantine for five days and especially since you don't I don't think that you know like what there's such a tight filming schedule here that I'm thinking that they had to probably fly out like seven families or something that's what I'm wondering and like have them all quarantine and then be like oh I'm sorry your son got eliminated so you'll all go home together I'm pretty sure this is how it happened we need to ask somebody in production or one of these guys once we do see who gets eliminated we have to ask if their family was actually flown out i want to know if like these families for like we're quarantined for four days or whatever it takes and then like day five they get somebody i want to know who the production person is that has to go into the room and tell like
Starting point is 00:37:56 four people hey guys sorry like i know you've been stuck in this room and i know you have no clue what's going on but unfortunately you're just going to have to go home with no more details than that like that is a terrible job to have and i mean like it's a little bit risky like you're telling these families like you have to get on a plane now and like i'm no i'm know a lot of them probably didn't want to get on a plane especially you know like back in the summer and then you're going to have to quarantine for five days of course they were going to make it seem like very nice and it was very nice quarantine they're going to be like we get we're going to give you a sweet you're going to have a hot tub in your backyard you're going to have a pool like you can access um we're going to get you
Starting point is 00:38:37 all your meals like it sounds nice and it was very much a vacation um but it's definitely like a sacrifice and i'm also thinking like maybe this is what tasha did maybe she told her producers these two guys are definitely getting through so you can send their families out now we'll start quarantining them so by the time that i eliminated down to four those families will be ready for for those two like first um hometown days and then like when i eliminate these other then when i really know who my top four are will send the other families out and then they'll just shoot later in the week that can make sense well hey uh this next headline is one that we're all celebrating uh chris lane teases that he's secretly hoping pregnant Lauren Bushnell has a baby boy this
Starting point is 00:39:27 according to us weekly now here's the thing I uh I did comment on Lauren's picture about when she announced the news and it made some headlines I mean I don't I don't know Of course I'm excited for her She's married like she's married and she's having a baby Like yes she is my ex Yes we had a relationship
Starting point is 00:39:48 Yes we tried to make that relationship work It didn't work And she moved on to somebody It's working great with In fact it's working so well That they're going to bring life into this world Who am I if I wasn't super pumped for this? him like why is this a big deal i don't know the fact that it did make headlines was very funny it's
Starting point is 00:40:07 like yeah of course because she's married it's been years and he's engaged and was supposed to you know if everything went according to plan without covid was supposed to get married in november it's wild so hey uh i'm pumped for lauren and chris like this worked out great for us all like i'm ecstatic about jessica uh and i think loren is obviously ecstatic about chris i'm sure he feels vice versa. And so we have another bachelor baby on the way. I know that Ashley, according to this headline,
Starting point is 00:40:37 there might though be some mixed opinions on what kind of baby they want, boy or girl. Maybe. Yeah. So he says that they're very close to being able to find out the sex and they're going to find out.
Starting point is 00:40:52 He says that his mom wants a girl. He secretly is hoping, or not so secretly, is hoping for a boy. and he thinks Lauren wants a girl. And yes, I got to say, I imagine Lauren with a girl, but it'll be great both ways. Yeah, this is a big deal, though. And it's exciting for them.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Hey, Ashley, tell me this. You might know more than I do. But I do know that they were pretty open, right, about their, like, struggles getting pregnant or their hopes for getting pregnant. So this isn't just something that's like happened easily, right? This is a big deal for them, just like it is for anybody. But it took some work. Yeah, definitely. She posted on Instagram a couple months, or, you know, I guess it's been like four or five months at this point, maybe even longer.
Starting point is 00:41:35 But everything feels like yesterday since she posted something that said, like, she never imagined that it would like take this long for her to get pregnant. So, yeah, they were definitely trying for a while. Yeah, well, good for them. I'm super pumped for Lauren. Obviously, she will always hold a very special place in my heart. we shared a lot together but super pumped that a new life is forming
Starting point is 00:42:04 and it's coming into Bachelor Nation will be following along and giving you updates along the way now hey we do have another headline that just came through this is hot off the press I mean I literally
Starting point is 00:42:14 we just got this message as we were breaking down the last headline it's one it's a big one I would say this is this there's a lot to this Ash Ashley I need you to help me break it down here's the head
Starting point is 00:42:27 headline and it reads, Tasia Adams reveals which Bachelorette Souter is husband material and addresses diamond ring. All right. So Tasia was on Ellen yesterday and she said that when it comes to best kisser, Ben, Blake, Brendan, and Zach were all in the running for that. Interesting. Does that mean that's a top, that could be a top four? I don't know. Blake just seems so out of this realm for me but whatever but she said
Starting point is 00:43:02 that the man who is most husband material I'm going to leave a dramatic pause is Zach and then Ellen goes so you ended up with Zach and of course you know she couldn't elaborate on that but
Starting point is 00:43:18 come on now what is she supposed to do like come on you can't what if Zach isn't her husband or isn't her fiance and like she said she said Zach and like the other guy who she ends up with is like uh what the heck so here's my theory actually I shared it with you a couple weeks ago and then now it's proving to me so there's no way there's no way on earth the show would allow her to do like
Starting point is 00:43:44 clearly speak to who she chose like that that just doesn't happen like that's like the only rule you ever get when it comes to media is like don't give the season away okay well I'm not going to get the season away so here's my theory actually it's not it's one that people aren't to be happy with me about i don't think she run her up i don't know i don't think she chooses anybody and in fact i i think that she had some great guys uh and they all had to respect for each other but i have a theory that something happens and she parts ways with the group without choosing someone because uh it just doesn't work out that's my theory uh and i and i think this hints to it even more because I just don't see the show being like, yeah, Tasha, you can say that Zach's husband material.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Like, go for it, even though you're with him. And there's no way. Zero chance that if she's with somebody else, she's going to say Zach. She would say Zach. Like, that would be awful. Like, you can't do that. That would be awful. I mean, Ellen asked a fantastic question there.
Starting point is 00:44:41 I can't believe she didn't. She actually answered it, which does point to your theory. It makes sense because I think that if, I think she could have. answered it with it's either him or him and just give it two options right yeah well hey i also know this when it comes to the big tv shows gm a ellen today show like there's no prep for the questions they're going to ask they they prep you and say hey like don't give the season away but like there's no list of questions that say hey this is what ellen's going to ask you today there's not that at all so like maybe this is a a mistake from tasha when it comes to media maybe it's not but it is a big
Starting point is 00:45:22 headline to read into, we still have no clue how the season ends. Well, hey, what an episode. Madison Pruitt comes on, talks about World Vision, talks about what she's up to today, a bright light in Bachelor Nation. We had some huge headlines, obviously, from hometown dates to Lauren and Chris to Tasha, who knows what that means. Ashley, a tremendous mini in depth with that. Hey, I've been Ben. And I've been back. I've been Bachelor. Wow. That was badass. Wow, guys. Wow.
Starting point is 00:45:55 My life is defined. I've been Ashley. Bye. See ya. Follow the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast on IHartRadio or subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts. Hi, my name is Enya Umanzor. And I'm Drew Phillips. And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom.
