Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to, of course, the Almost Famous OG Podcast with the gorgeous and talented Trista Sutter. Oh, thank you. Thank you. You're very welcome. And of course, me, your old pal Bob. And today, we've got such an awesome recap coming for you for Dancing with Stars.
Starting point is 00:03:10 I believe it's season, whatever, episode six. But more importantly, we are joined by my old buddy, Jake Pavelka, former bachelor, former Dancer of the Stars superstar. And what's up, Jakey Pee? It's doing good. It's really good to see you guys. It's great to see you too. How's everything going? We keep doing this at events. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:37 We're emailing me or getting back to me on Instagram. It's good to see you, buddy. Good to see that smile and face. It's been a minute. I was telling our producer, Hannah, that one of my favorite memories of my post-batchel life was you, myself, and our boy, Andrew Firestone, getting together for a really swanky photo shoot for, was that for People magazine, I think, or Us Weekly? I can't remember. It was. I think it was Us Weekly. I still have those photos on my phone.
Starting point is 00:04:09 I do too. And it's, they basically had us dress up, Trista, the three of us, like we were going out like to a party, but it was like old school, like, roaring 20s style clothes for the men. Yeah. What was that show? Mad Men. Very madmen. Yeah. That's right. That's more accurate. More like madmen. But we were in like a whiskey bar, like this really cool speak easy. And we just sat there and caught up all day. And it was awesome. I love that whole thing. It was just such a fun day. Yeah, it sure was. That was a good time. I kind of keep in touch with Andy. Seems like he's doing really good. Yeah. Yeah. He's got a lot
Starting point is 00:04:49 going on, man. I'll tell you. Well, you know what? I mean, I'm excited about this. but we'll get to this in a little bit, but you've got a lot going on too. But, you know, we're going to dig before we even get into that stuff, I want to talk to you about your time when you were on Dancing with the Stars, because you came off your bachelor season and slipped right into those fancy little dance shoes. I mean, was, are you a dancing guy? Like, do you have you danced in your past? Like, Trista was a professional dancer, right?
Starting point is 00:05:24 So for her to go on there, it's like, you know. I mean, that's so not fair, Tristan. But why is it not fair? I was literally the first person ever kicked off. So obviously, she's a professional dancer. She's just that good. We can't have her on the show because she's. No.
Starting point is 00:05:43 I don't have a dance background. You do not? You were just dancing around Vienna is what you were doing. Oh, yeah. I just got falling down, getting sympathy. Boats. Yeah, we were kind of talking about, you know, just to kind of touch base on your bachelor season for a hot second, we were talking about what I remember to be, and you and I have
Starting point is 00:06:07 talked about this, Jake, but I remember it to be, for me anyway, I felt so bad for you. When you go on to your recap of your season, kind of like the moment where you and the woman you chose on your season were officially ending things, but for the world to watch. and it was brutal. Bob, stop interrupting me, please. Would you stop interrupt me? She's like, that's it. It's like, it's like a lost away.
Starting point is 00:06:33 85 times that she interrupted me, you know, looking, I mean, the whole thing's really funny now, and it's made this recent resurgence on the Instagram where I'm getting tagged in all these photos of these people, you know, poking fun at it. It's like a meme. It's become a meme. Are you a meme, Jake? That's when you know you made it. That's when you know you made it.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Do you can go on to Giffy, you know, and type in, stop interrupting me and your picture comes up? That's so funny. I'm going to do that, actually. I'm going to do that while we're here out of the phone. We are for sure doing that. You got to do it. But yeah, that had to be such a, I mean, getting ready in that moment. And, I mean, you know, for everything, knowing, I mean, this was, were you already?
Starting point is 00:07:22 doing dancing with the stars at that point or were you already starting to prepare for dancing to the stars at that point uh no we we had actually so that was during the summer so we had been engaged for quite some time at that point uh dancing with the stars i think we started in we started practicing early march and then the show wrapped in may so this was a couple months after that had wrapped oh wow so you guys made it through the whole dancing with the stars thing and everything. Yeah, yeah. She had to dance with me on the finale, which was really cool.
Starting point is 00:07:53 Oh, that is cool. That's awesome. Yeah. That's nice. Thinking about that, since you guys were in a relationship, then, do you feel like Dancing with the Stars played a role at all in the breakup? Yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:12 We talked about that in the show. It's got to be tough. It's so hard. I mean, I can speak to my experience, but what was your experience? like? Probably, you know, just experience-wise, you know, outcome, you had a really great outcome, but probably similar, you know, you go through this really crazy condensed experience where you meet somebody and I would say you get out on the other side of the bachelor or bachelorette and you know probably 65, 70% of somebody. And then there's that 30, you haven't
Starting point is 00:08:48 had time, you know, when that kind of catches up, life sets in. And, you know, relationships are just hard. Oh, well, and also the Dancing with the Stars, that's, sorry, I should have been more specific, but the Dancing with the Stars experience, how is that for, you know, you're newly engaged, like you said, you only know, you only know a little bit of someone in that short, condensed frame of, you know, time. Yeah. And then you go on a dancing show with somebody who is, gorgeous and like all over you and like you're having to like dance these like seductive moves with someone it was very uncomfortable for Ryan like you know we had been married for I think two years at that point but it was still like who is this guy and you're like these movements
Starting point is 00:09:39 are not something that I'm comfortable with so yeah yeah do you feel like that is the part that played a role in you guys breaking up? Or was it like, I know my season, we didn't have as many practices, but I feel like on Dancing with the Stars, you're just gone all the time. So you come off of The Bachelor and you want to be able to spend time with your like chosen person. And it's really hard to do that because you, you know, if you're committed to dancing with Stars, then you're you're dancing a lot we were dancing probably between eight and ten hours a day wow wow immersed in it you know when you're when you're you're engaging your brain to that level trying to learn something that you're not naturally good at you know and you don't want to
Starting point is 00:10:29 look stupid in front of 22 million people yeah exactly yeah it off although to be fair Jake I mean I've made a living on it looking really stupid in front of a million people I gave it out. You know, Trista, I'm sure, and I remember, it was, you know, almost 15 years ago when I was on the show, but I remember being in trying to be very cognizant of how that would have made Vienna feel because, you know, my fiance, you don't want her to feel bad or like she's in some place or anything like that. And I, you know, what I tried to do, you know, one of my attempts was. keep her very involved in the show, you know, which they, you know, in turn, they were like,
Starting point is 00:11:14 okay, how about, you know, during the finale, whatever happens with your season, we're going to have her, we're going to have you guys dance together. As long as you're still together, we're going to have you dance together at the finale. We think that'd be very meaningful. And she got, she got paid to do that, which I thought was extremely generous of the producers, you know, to compensate her to, you know, to come on with me. But yeah, you know, when you're hanging out, I mean, Chelsea High Tower is a little cutie. And. Yeah. the world thought so and so you know my fiance is like hey you're dancing with a really cute girl doing the argentine tango across the dance world yeah that yeah that's tough that's not
Starting point is 00:11:51 anybody you know anybody that cared uh you know that would test that would test a level of jealousy and absolutely anybody in my opinion yeah i agree i agree i get jealous every episode and i've never even been on the damn show i'm like sitting here all pissed off for whitney carson's husband i'm like what in this sam hell is going on I just kidding My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly And now I'm seriously suspicious Oh wait a minute Sam
Starting point is 00:12:21 Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit Well Dakota, it's back to school week On the OK Storytime podcast So we'll find out soon This person writes My boyfriend has been hanging out With his young professor a lot He doesn't think it's a problem
Starting point is 00:12:33 But I don't trust her Now he's insisting we get to know each other But I just want her gone Now hold up Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate. Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and they're the same age. And it's even more likely that they're cheating.
Starting point is 00:12:48 He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not? To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth? Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
Starting point is 00:13:20 He said, you are a number, a New York state number, and we own you. Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline, physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs. Mark had one chance to complete this program and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months. The first night was so overwhelming, and you don't know who's next to you. And we didn't know what to expect in the morning.
Starting point is 00:13:57 Nobody tells you anything. Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get to. your podcasts. Hola, it's Honey German, and my podcast, Grasas Come Again, is back. This season, we're going even deeper into the world of music and entertainment with raw and honest conversations
Starting point is 00:14:16 with some of your favorite Latin artists and celebrities. You didn't have to audition? No, I didn't audition. I haven't audition in, like, over 25 years. Oh, wow. That's a real G-talk right there. Oh, yeah. We've got some of the biggest actors,
Starting point is 00:14:29 musicians, content creators, and culture shifters sharing their real stories of failure and success. You were destined to be a start. We talk all about what's viral and trending with a little bit of chisement, a lot of laughs, and those amazing vivas you've come to expect. And, of course, we'll explore deeper topics dealing with identity, struggles, and all the issues affecting our Latin community.
Starting point is 00:14:54 You feel like you get a little whitewash because you have to do the code switching? I won't say whitewash because at the end of the day, you know, I'm me. Yeah. But the whole pretending and code, you know, it takes a toll on you. Listen to the new season of Grasasas Come Again as part of My Cultura Podcast Network on the IHartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, sis, what if I could promise you you never had to listen to a condescending finance, bro? Tell you how to manage your money again. Welcome to Brown Ambition.
Starting point is 00:15:21 This is the hard part when you pay down those credit cards. If you haven't gotten to the bottom of why you were racking up credit or turning to credit cards, you may just recreate the same problem a year from now. When you do feel like you are bleeding. from these high interest rates, I would start shopping for a debt consolidation loan, starting with your local credit union, shopping around online, looking for some online lenders because they tend to have fewer fees and be more affordable. Listen, I am not here to judge. It is so expensive in these streets. I 100% can see how in just a few months you can have this much credit card debt when it weighs on you. It's really easy to just like stick your head in the sand. It's
Starting point is 00:15:59 nice and dark in the sand. Even if it's scary, it's not going to go away just because you're a boy it and in fact it may get even worse. For more judgment-free money advice, listen to Brown Ambition on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hi, I'm Jennifer Lopez and in the new season of the Overcover podcast, I'm taking you on an exciting journey of self-reflection. Am I ready to enter this new part of my life? Like, am I ready to be in a relationship? Am I ready to have kids and to really just devote myself and my time? I wanted to be successful on my own, not just because of who my mom is. Like, I felt, like I needed to be better
Starting point is 00:16:36 or work twice as hard as she did. Join me for conversations about healing and growth. Life is freaking hard. And growth doesn't happen in comfort. It happened in motion even when you're hurting. All from one of my favorite spaces, The Kitchen.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Honestly, these are going to come out so freaking amazing. Be a part of my new chapter and listen to the new season of the Overcomfit podcast as part of the MyCultura podcast network on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. To that end, I mean, we've talked about that a lot, too, Jake.
Starting point is 00:17:16 Like, you know, there's, we, while every season, you know, this season's no different, right? You have Joey and Jen, both from the Bachelor and a Bachelor at. Joey, we know, obviously, his beautiful, you know, chosen one is on, you know, on the sidelines, watching every episode and definitely being a part of the show. Jen, jury's still out. Trista's got some thoughts on this one. You know, we've been combing the audience every week to see if that dude's showing up. What's his name again, Trista?
Starting point is 00:17:42 He is, Jonathan. He's been there last night. Yeah, and he's always in the house. But they're still talking about, you know, kiss the girl because last night was the Disney episode. Right. I think they're just playing that up. I think that, you know, people are like, ooh, are her and Sasha together? And so I think that they're just playing it up knowing that she's, you know, kind of
Starting point is 00:18:03 I guess maybe in our relationship with Jonathan. I don't know that for sure, so don't quote me, but I feel like there's been a lot of talk about it, and I feel like they might have confirmed it, but maybe they didn't. So I don't know about her and Sasha. I feel like they just have great chemistry and work really well together, and I think they respect each other and just really have fun dancing together.
Starting point is 00:18:30 But that's hard, too, like, you know, going back to like jake and vienna just you know you're in this new relationship um and you're having so much fun with somebody else you know it's just it's hard to to to swallow that pill so um yeah it's hard i i always whenever anyone from the bachelor if it's right after their season i'm always like no don't do it like yeah yeah well sometimes even the speculation is tough, you know? Yeah. And it just takes so much time away from your relationship, truly. Yeah. And that's what you really need to be immersing yourself in it and getting it, getting it concreted in. Yeah. Yeah. You're right. You're absolutely right. Well, let's get into
Starting point is 00:19:18 a season. Shall we a little bit? We get into the show from last night, Trista. Once you kick us off, we know it was the Disney episode. I just want to say for the record, Julian Huff looked amazing as always. I could not keep my eyes off of her on the first dance, like the opening number. was fire. And she wasn't even in the whole thing. But I was just like, oh, I'm just going to watch Julianne. Yeah. No, I love it when they come out with a huge opening number and they include the
Starting point is 00:19:45 celebs. So that was fun. And in the back of my mind, I'm thinking, the celebs not only had to, you know, do learn one specific dance, but they had to do the opening number. And even though it wasn't a ton, they still had to do the opening number and this like group dance. that they did last night, that's a lot on your plate to remember.
Starting point is 00:20:08 I do feel for them. Jake, did you have any group numbers that you had to do? Yes. Yeah, in week number seven of my season, we did have the swing. The swing. That's fun. And hard. And really hard, yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:32 totally it's hard it's really hard but i think of the swing is like a wedding dance like a wedding reception if someone like swings me around and i i love that um we didn't do a group number um i don't think they did any group numbers on our season at all but of course i was the first one off so i don't know um but that definitely adds to your plate right yeah you have you have more time away from home or whatever yeah it's you know it's it was really hard you know everybody's like hey what was it like i'm like chelsea high tower was leading the entire time she came up with a routine that i could barely do and then we ran it a thousand times and then did it live that's how it works right yeah just try not to get hurt along the way totally yeah that'd be my problem i mean that's probably why
Starting point is 00:21:31 they haven't asked me yet. Probably. It's got to be it, right, Trista? Yeah, that's true. You know, because they know that I... Oh, my gosh. And I get out there, like, I think I just spraying my neck, literally, just doing what I just did.
Starting point is 00:21:43 I'd be in such bad shape on that show. But, so last night, they do the big group number, the big group opening, and then they roll into our first dancers. And by the way, I should put this out there before anyone's paying too close of attention. When Trista was not on the show last week, I did, spoiler alert, pick the people they got kicked off tonight. You did? I did.
Starting point is 00:22:04 You can go back. You can check it if you'd like for factual, factual accuracy. Well, I shouldn't say that. I narrowed down to two couples. And I was right. I want to, yeah. But Trista's, you should replace Carrie Ann.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Oh, no, gosh. Yeah, would have to be something here. I will say I narrowed it down to, actually, I might have said three couples now that I'm thinking about it. Oh, wow. I said, I said, Fadra might be going home. home. I said Dwight Howard could potentially be going home. And I said, even though she had very quickly really warned herself to the audience, because we're getting to this point, and that's
Starting point is 00:22:45 something to talk to Jacob, but because we're getting to that point right now where actually everyone's a really good dancer at this point, right? I thought, well, Alana could go home, right? So that was my potential bottom three. And yeah, and I won't roll, I won't roll it for anyone. Yeah. but one of those three did go home, I will tell you that. You mean for this week? I'm so confused. You were talking about last week. Didn't Brooks go home?
Starting point is 00:23:10 Brooks went home last week. Yeah. And then I was forecasting into this week. Oh, okay. And I said, based off of what I've seen so far, and where we're going with the show. Because, you know, this is. This is Jake, I mean, like you said,
Starting point is 00:23:21 episode sevens when you were doing the group numbers. This is episode six, right? Isn't it? So it's right around that same time. I think so. Yeah. This is semi-panels at this point, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:32 And so everyone's really good now. Like, everyone's like, even though, even though Fadre went home, she still danced really well. Like, I was impressed, you know. It's like, everybody's really good. She did. Although, I will say, in the group number, you could tell that she was like, so she was in the front in a lot of things that were involving the rest of the celebs in her group. And she was kind of like, like, looking back to make sure that she was doing the right things. Steve could tell that I think it was a little more than she could handle that week.
Starting point is 00:24:03 I mean, I loved watching her. I thought she had a little spitfire and she's fun to watch and listen to. I just can't wait to hear what comes out of her mouth. But I do think that it probably was, you know, right on. I think for this upcoming week, I think continuing on with your trend, like Dwight, I think, I think Dwight, I think, I think Dwight, I don't know. I'm going to say he probably will go home. Yeah. That will be my guess.
Starting point is 00:24:34 Well, and here's the thing. And Jake, Jake, we know you haven't had a chance to watch a ton of these yet, but Dwight Howard is what, 611, right? And what's his partner name?
Starting point is 00:24:43 She's super cute. Danny. Danielle. Daniel. She's like 5'1. And so, like, the first week, he was like carrying her around and it was like funny,
Starting point is 00:24:53 but it's like that can only last so long, right? So especially when you start getting into this stuff, now, we're like, I mean, Chandler looks like a pro, honestly. Like, you know, I mean, half the time you don't even know which one of those two are the pro. She's so good. You know, Joey's killing it.
Starting point is 00:25:10 Jet Trans killing it. Like, the whole, everyone that's left on this show right now is really good. Danny Amandolo, like, I didn't see his dance last week, but the contemporary piece, like, I want to go back and watch it because I feel like he, he continues to crush it. I actually, when I was watching that part of it last night, I'm like, actually, he might be part of my top three.
Starting point is 00:25:33 So I think I'm going to add Chandler, Joey, and Danny to the... Nice. Yeah. Okay. All right. Yeah. Well, once again, our boy Joey from The Bachelor, who none of us pegged him to be this dancing machine, last night looked like Fabio Tarzan. That was so funny.
Starting point is 00:25:56 He's got the wig, leather jeans. I mean, I was like, what is going on with this guy? What was your most favorite outfit, Jake? What did you get to wear that was fun? Like, did you wear any wigs or anything like that? Didn't wear any wigs. You know, probably when we did, it was the first Latin dance we did, and it was the quick step.
Starting point is 00:26:21 I dressed up a little bit like Harrison Ford. Oh, fun. Nice. Like Indiana. Jones Harrison Ford or Indiana Jones? Yeah, good point. Yeah, Indiana Jones. Love.
Starting point is 00:26:32 That was one of my favorite movies growing up or series. That's so fun. I love that. I really didn't get to dress up in anything fun, but that's okay. The first season's always the roughest because you've got to go through, like they're figuring out what the show is, right? Yeah, totally. It's fine. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Oh, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy?

What do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club?
Starting point is 00:29:01 I know it sounds like the start of a bad joke, but that really was my reality nine years ago. I just normally do straight stand-up, but this is a bit different. On stage stood a comedian with a story that no one expected to hear. Well, 22nd of July 2015, a 23-year-old man had killed his family. And then he came to my house. So what do you get when a true crime producer walks into a comedy club? A new podcast called Wisecrack, where stand-up comedy and murder takes center stage. Available now.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Listen to Wisecrack on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum secure? prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth. Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced. He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you. Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional programs that mimic military basic training. These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline,
Starting point is 00:30:21 physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs. Mark had one chance to complete this program and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months. The first night was so overwhelming, and you don't know who's next to you. And we didn't know what to expect in the morning. Nobody tells you anything. Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:30:47 A foot washed up a shoe with some bones and They had no idea who it was. Most everything was burned up pretty good from the fire that not a whole lot was salvageable. These are the coldest of cold cases, but everything is about to change. Every case that is a cold case that has DNA. Right now in a backlog will be identified in our lifetime. A small lab in Texas is cracking the code on DNA. Using new scientific tools, they're finding clues in evidence so tiny you might just miss it.
Starting point is 00:31:20 He never thought he was going to get caught. And I just looked at my computer screen. I was just like, ah, gotcha. On America's Crime Lab, we'll learn about victims and survivors. And you'll meet the team behind the scenes at Othrum, the Houston Lab that takes on the most hopeless cases to finally solve the unsolvable. Starting point is 00:32:08 I would definitely, if they did an all-stars, I probably wouldn't do very well. But that was, you know, that was, I think that. I guess the way I would answer that is, you know, from my, so the biggest thing that I saw that I really missed last night was Lynn Goodman. Oh, true. Yeah. Not to see him on the show because he was such a dynamic judge. The other, you know, Derek is doing amazing.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Everybody loves Bruno and Carrie Ann's amazing. But I miss, I miss, I mean, I miss Lynn. That was just such a well-produced show. The way that the way that those producers put. everything together for me you know i mean the bachelor was a very magical experience but dancing with the stars was truly uh just that was truly an opportunity to uh you know just it's almost like it didn't even happen that's one of those things yeah mean did i get to do that oh that's cool um that would be so much fun to go back you know i try to go back to the show you know uh each season
Starting point is 00:33:15 i haven't been since covid so i've got a couple of years that i've missed because the dynamics of you know, getting to the sound stage have changed, but I've stayed real close to that crew just because they were, they were so welcoming with open arms. Hey, you've got this. Just keep it. We know your body hurts. Just keep pushing
Starting point is 00:33:34 through it. It's so worth it. Yeah, totally. So it's just a great group producing it. Yeah. Agreed. That's awesome. That is awesome. Did you have Ashley Eden as a producer? No. The EP or executive producer,
Starting point is 00:33:48 sorry, Dina Katz. Well, Dina, yeah, she's a constant. But Ashley was on my... Bachelorette. Yeah. So I think she was on Bachelor. She definitely was on my Bachelorette. And she now is like besties with the huffs and like goes around with them.
Starting point is 00:34:06 She's done a couple. She does a bunch of other shows, but she produces like the Christmas special and works with them a lot. But she was working. I don't know. Maybe she started after. No, because she was on my dancing. with the stars season she was a producer on dancing with the stars and then she became one of the exact producers so maybe she was there with dina and just more behind the scenes um on your
Starting point is 00:34:31 season if i saw her i would i would i would remember right away yeah yeah she's awesome she's amazing i love her so okay i'm gonna put side by side bachelor dancing with the stars which one did you like better oh Dancing with the Stars. So I love that just because it seems like you had a really great experience. But do you feel like if you hadn't done The Bachelor, then you probably wouldn't have done Dancing with the Stars? So isn't it Bachelor that you want?
Starting point is 00:35:07 100%. I remember the conversation where Mike Fleiss approached me and said, hey, dancing is talking to us about you. And he said, you know what? If you want to go, it's greenlit. when it's not in your contract, but he said, I'll green light that all day long. Awesome. You know, I've never asked, I've always wanted to ask you this, Trista.
Starting point is 00:35:28 Yeah. And Bob. So when we first started to shoot The Bachelor, it was like before the limousines rolled up, I was talking to the executive producer in Alon Gail, and I just said, hey, the way that I'm looking at this, I understand that you guys need to make a television show and you need to make a television show to get people to watch it. And I completely respect that. I said, I'm going to stay out of your way, whatever you need to do, but do me a favor. I am here to find and fall in love because I believe I can do that. Then then limousines came. And I mean, I think that conversation that we had before
Starting point is 00:36:06 we started is why we had a pretty successful season, because I understood what they were trying to do, and they understood that I was serious about my presence on there. And I think that that that, I think that that may have had something to do with Mike Fleiss going, hey, thank you so much for allowing us to do what we do. Thank you for coming on, you know, vulnerable and open-hearted. Go have fun on dancing. Don't hurt yourself. Yeah, totally. Because he could have said no, honestly. He could have very well said no. I think he said no a lot to certain people. So, yeah, I feel the same way. I've always had that mentality that their producers and they were my friends like i i became very close with um a lot of them and i always had a healthy amount of respect for the fact that they are
Starting point is 00:37:01 doing a job and even though i was also there for you i don't want to call it a job but i was for sure looking for love so um i think that when you're able to respect each other and there's no like um egos involved then it just it just makes things low a whole lot easier like everyone wants to support each other oh my gosh i completely agree yeah so i'm glad i'm glad that it worked out that way and that they could greenlight you for dancing because it is such a fun, such a fun once in a lifetime thing to be part of. If I had known when I was being cast on the Bachelor that Pamela Anderson was going to walk by me wearing a towel, I had no idea that was going to happen in my lifetime. I'm serious. That's so funny.
Starting point is 00:38:08 Watching her on Baywatch. Yeah, of course. Duh. Any other moments like that that happened? That was it. Eating Buzz Aldrin. Buzz Aldrin. Oh, heck yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:22 That guy was my hero when I was going on. Payne Anderson was my crush. Buzz Aldrin was my hero. Oh, my gosh. You hit the jackpot on that show. Unbelievable. He did. And such a genuine great guy.
Starting point is 00:38:37 Oh, I love that. That's awesome. So fun. Yeah. Well, guys, I hate to be the buzz kill on this one, but, you know, it is a little butt up and bang, bomp, I think it's time. I think it's time for us to make our predictions for next week. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:56 All right. Trista. So you already said you think Dwight's going home. I mean, I love them, but I do think that they just have so much against them. with the height difference. I love his personality. I think he's doing a great job. But I think compared to the people like Joey, like Chandler, like Danny,
Starting point is 00:39:16 I just, and Jen, like, Alona, like everyone's, everyone is crushing at the season, as we have said, week after week after week. But you get down to the really, really nitty-gritty. And I just feel like that height difference is going to finally put that nail in the coffin. maybe so that's my prediction who knows if I'm right or not but no I think you could be on to something I think I'm narrowing it down I'm going to do two again I think the basement dwellers for me next week are going to be Dwight and Daniela which I which I'm bummed to say because I really I love Daniela and I love Dwight too I find him to be so great yeah um and just going
Starting point is 00:40:02 through everybody on my list here I got well I got to say I got to say I got to say Alana would be the other one because I don't think that America's going to send home an Olympian, right? Even though I think Stephen, you know, he's probably in that same level with Alana. But so I think it could come down to those two or those three in the bottom three. And Jake, I know you didn't get a chance to watch too much of the show. But what you did get to see, any predictions from you? I think strategically you're looking at it right. You know, like with the height height difference he's 611 yeah i want to say he's taller than that but he might be seven fun i feel like seven feet but i don't know yeah it it just it it makes it difficult where the other
Starting point is 00:40:50 company you know the other couple couples you know because they they do try to match you height wise yeah totally on the show and so there's just things you can do dance wise that that wouldn't work for them otherwise that would look really good yeah i i like him you know i'm a big fan but i i'm too It's just getting so competitive on there. I just think that their height difference is going to really, really start standing out with what level they can compete at. Yeah. There you go.
Starting point is 00:41:17 Two ballroom experts and their friend chiming in here. I am not a ballroom expert. Where's the ballroom expert? Because not here. Well, you guys are far more expert than me. But I will say, you all heard it here first on our, of course, Dance With Star Recap episode of Almost Famous to OGs. Jake, thank you for joining us, man.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Thanks for being here with us. And Trista, as always, thank you for being so wonderful and lovely to do this show with everybody. Oh, yes, thank you. You're welcome so much. Thanks, Bob. And thanks for being here, Jake.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Love you guys. Me too. All right. Now, we might have more with Jake Pavelka coming up. So make sure you listen to our next episode. Bye, everybody. See ya.
