This is an I-Heart podcast.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Wait a minute, Sam.
Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate.
Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hello, it's Daniel Fischel.
Writer Strong.
And Will Ferdell from PodMeets World.
We are back in Las Vegas and giving the people what they want, a full week of Y2K content.
Tell me why.
Well, for the Backstreet Boys residency at Sphere, of course.
We joke and say this is our second marriage, but it takes a lot of communication.
Plus, it's carrot top, baby.
And finally, Ashley Simpson-Ross joins us to talk about her upcoming sold-out Vegas residency.
Listen to PodMeets World on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Hi, my name is Enya Umanzor.
And I'm Drew Phillips.
And we run a podcast called Emergency Intercom.
If you're a crime junkie and you love crimes, we're not the podcast for you.
But if you have unmedicated ADHD...
Oh my God.
And want to hear people with mental illness, psychobabble.
Yes, yes.
Then Emergency Intercom is the podcast for you.
Open your free IHeartRadio app.
Search Emergency Intercom and listen now.
What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum security prison
or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth?
Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York State number,
we own you.
Listen to shock incarceration on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your

Every case that is a cold case that has DNA.
Right now in a backlog will be identified in our lifetime.
On the new podcast, America's Crime Lab, every case has a story to tell.
And the DNA holds the truth.
He never thought he was going to get caught.
And I just looked at my computer screen.
I was just like, ah, gotcha.
This technology is already solving so many cases.

This is the Almost Famous Podcast with IHartRadio.
Welcome to the Almost Famous OG podcast.
This is Trista.
If you can't understand my voice, I mean, it's been a while.
So hopefully you know that it's Trista.
I am very happily joined by my husband, Ryan Sutter, who loves podcasting with me.
I don't mind it.
No, I know you don't.
Once we get going, it's all good.
And we're in this lovely verbo in Lake Tahoe, which, you know, coming to Lake Tahoe just
reminds me of being in Vale where we lived for 20 years.
and I cannot wait to go and look all around the property.
I know you've seen a little bit of it.
And it is beautiful.
It is beautiful.
We got so lucky.
And you guys, listen, procrastinators can rejoice because Verbo has last minute deals for private vacation rentals.
And you'll want to ping this one.
I think it's called the River House in Tahoe.
And it is stunning.
It has like a massage room.
room it has a sauna um what else does it have it has a beautiful pool and hot tub outside just
this babbling creek is that what you call it babbling bubbling it's usually babbling brook
babbling brook thank you so close babbling this is why i bring him um and they've got nearly
300,000 discounted properties that you can book within 30 days of checking in so
definitely go on verbo and check out their properties. But I am really excited to chat with you because
this whole week, I guess week, because we're not in the weekend, was my idea. And I'm so proud
of it. I'm so proud because you know how much I love pickleball. Yes, I do. I know how much
you look pickleball. And bachelor nation. And you know how much I don't love. So, so, um,
Here you are.
And yesterday, you were wearing a lovely gift that I gave you that prepped you for this week.
Yeah.
Pickleball shoes.
I know.
His core shoes, you guys.
His very own court shoes.
Because what were you playing in?
Tell the people what you were playing in before I got you court shoes.
I don't remember.
Fliplops?
I don't know.
Well, it's pickleball.
You don't need to be like super geared up for pickleball.
You clearly have not been to my least.
League. Clearly.
Clearly. Epic pickleball.
Shout out to Epic Pickleball in Littleton, Colorado.
Yeah, no, it is serious business, babe, and you have to get into the mindset because we are
playing in a tournament today and we are winning.
I know.
Okay.
I'm not worried about it.
I think I can handle it.
I mean, it was pickleball, as far as I understand, was, if not,
started at least made popular by a population usually over 65 so i feel usually not anymore and i know
it's i know it's caught on with the younger generation i actually feel bad for the older folks that
started it and had this kind of to themselves yeah right and then people like you have come along and
made it really popular and ruined it for all the old old folks so i hope you're proud of yourself
that you're in your pickleball.
Well, you know I am getting up there in age.
Yeah, true.
52.
I'm glad you actually found something that you enjoy doing.
I love it.
I love pickleball.
And it's really for me, obviously, it's a good girl time.
Like, we get together with, you know, some of our friends who are couples and we get to play.
And I just love it.
I, you know, almost famous.
We usually do, in all the IHeart podcast, we usually do like golf tournaments.
And I don't play golf.
And I was like, hmm, could we please do a pickleball tournament?
Because that's something that I really love.
And I know that there are tons of Bachelor Nation people.
And of course, all of the rest of the people, Real Housewives,
all of the I heart podcast people who love pickleball just as much as me.
So I'm really excited.
We are actually having a tournament.
So there's like tears, you know, quarterfinals.
The tournament just people that we know.
or is this
yes
like a world
world
yes we're going to
dominate the world
people all over the world
all the world
all the top pickleball players
maybe we should
maybe there's a new idea
no it is just us
it's all the people
who are here
for this event so
I feel more confident
in our potential
yes
Deanna has never played before
right so
and I think
Bob and Canyon
played once.
Well, sometimes people that haven't played are the ones that you got to look out for.
You're so right, especially with that big arm wingspan that Bob has.
So, yeah, we got to watch out for them.
We're watching out for you, Bobman Canyon.
And then there's the Goldens, who I know we'll be bringing it today.
Yeah, it's their sport.
No, it's not.
Okay. So who are you excited to see? I know you probably don't even know most of the people, but
I don't know who's coming. I mean, I'm always excited to see Bob. Yeah. And I've already seen him
and we were both up early this morning. So I got to catch up with him a little bit and hear
about his sort of wild travelist trying to get here. It seemed like it was difficult for everyone
wanted to get here, including us, took a little longer than...
Yeah, I think it was about the storms that he actually experienced firsthand, but I think
that's why we were delayed.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm sure it was.
We had a little bit of a travel day yesterday.
We were supposed to leave Denver at 4.7 p.m. and I don't know how many times did it get
pushed back, five, maybe?
Yeah, five or six.
Anyway, we got here all as well, and it's beautiful and we're excited to be here.
So what do you love about Lake Tahoe?
Like, I know what I love, and I just kind of specified, but what do you like about Lake Tah?
I just like all mountains areas.
Yeah.
I don't, I think the first time that I or we came here was when I used to do the extra triathlons,
and this one was the national championship for a while.
So we came to that a couple times, and then it's been a while I came.
took a swift water certification class in Truckee a few years ago to get instructor certified
in that. And then we came a few years ago with the almost famous people. So I haven't spent
a lot of time. And it's funny because I was talking to Bob's wife. She used to be a snowboarder
and she would come up here and snowboard in school. I mean, she was competitive, so she would come up here.
and she had said she had never been up here in the summertime.
And I don't think I've ever been up here in the wintertime.
So true.
Which is crazy.
So I love it as a summer destination.
I've never been here in the winter.
And the lake obviously is a big part of it.
It's beautiful.
Gorgeous.
One of my favorite pictures with Max, with us and Max, is when we were here for the
almost famous thing.
And we stood on the dock.
So pretty out there.
Yeah.
thing like about the mountains you know in vale they say you come for the winter but you stay for the
summer i feel like summer is so underrated and should not be even though i probably shouldn't be
telling people that because then it you know the mountains will just get more popular in the summer
yeah words already pretty popular yeah true true story um and we have a little getaway without the
kids hopefully they are um taking care of their response
responsibilities, including our dog.
I wrote him this morning about feeding Coda, and I don't think they haven't responded.
No, they did.
Okay.
He just did while we've been talking.
Max said that Blake's leave had him.
Okay, good.
And I did say, make sure you get up.
Make sure you walk Cota.
Yeah, I don't worry about them.
I mean, they'll do what they're going to do and they're old enough to sort of manage on their own.
But that poor little dog needs attention.
And he usually gets it from me and I'm not there.
so I worry about it.
He's like the little kid now in our family
because our little kids aren't little kids anymore.
No, they're not speaking of.
Our baby boy just turned 18 years old.
Yeah.
I cannot, I still can't believe that we actually have an adult.
Like he is an, he's official.
Yeah.
He could leave if he won't.
to you and we wouldn't be able to stop.
Please don't leave, babe.
I mean, I mean, buddy, please don't leave.
Please don't leave me.
Yeah, it's going to be really interesting to see what his future entails.
Blakesley too, obviously, but he is right on the precipice.
You know, he's got one more year of school and then we'll see what happens, you know,
for everybody out there.
He plays hockey.
He would love to play hockey after high school.
but that's a whole ballgame in itself.
You have to go to juniors instead of going to college.
And we do, you know, both of us have master's degrees and we value education.
We would love for him to get the college experience.
So at least I would.
But I will say the more and more we've talked about it, growing up, college was always a given, like for my kids.
It was like my kids will go to college because I felt like,
That was something that my parents instilled in me.
And more and more, I've had conversations with people.
We've talked about it, like the trades and firefighting.
And there's not one specific route that you like is the norm anymore.
I feel like there's so many options.
Yeah, I think I encourage him, you know, while you're young to do all the things that you can only do while you're young.
Like if he wants to continue to try to play hockey, then he should do that now because
that's like opportunities fall off the table as you grow older yeah and so to be able to take
advantage of all of those now and then like navigating the career world or the professional
world is difficult um just because there's so many things changing um daily with with everything
from artificial intelligence and what impact that has on jobs and like if this from big picture
like a high level view that I have, I certainly don't have to know a ton about it, but it seems
like computers are taking over or capable of taking over a lot of the intellectual side of
work, which is what you go to college for. And so you're kind of wondering, well, are you just
going to college to learn something that a computer could do for you and trying to integrate, you know,
I mean, it's always been that way, even since just calculators were invented. Like, you just
people just need to figure out how to work with the latest technology and yeah and that's um
kind of an unknown at this point so i don't i don't worry too much about either of our kids i think
they're both um very capable people and their heads are on straight and they both um like
you know just thinking about max in particular because he just turned 18 and his
future outside of our houses closer than Blake's but I think he's got he's just so well-rounded
and he's um he's really developed a lot of maturity over the last few years and I think that he's
going to be fine whatever he does and then and then Blake's a 16-year-old girl and it's a little
bit harder at least for me to sort of see any kind of like I don't think she's really even
thinking about it I mean I think she has a little
bit just because she, you know, talks about dancing or modeling or, you know, fashion or
whatever. And I bring it up all the time, like, you know, about college. And we've looked at a
couple colleges. So I think just naturally it comes from that conversation of mom nagging and
saying, like, you know, what do you want to do? What do you want to do? Yeah, no, I get it.
But like, where were we? We were driving home from Max's birthday dinner. Yeah. And we saw a Bronco.
She's always wanted a Bronco.
And she's like, you know, Dad, actually, I kind of like G-wagon's better now.
And I was like, okay.
Well, so does everyone.
But that's going to have to be, like, that's where her mind is.
For sure.
I want to, she wants to be successful.
I just don't know that she knows in what yet.
Yeah, she doesn't get the reality of the situation quite yet.
One thing we know is that she will not be getting a G-wagon from us.
No.
My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious.
Well, wait a minute, Sam, maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.
Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon.
This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot.
He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her.
Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate.
Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and they're the same age.
And it's even more likely that they're cheating.
He insists there's nothing between them.
I mean, do you believe him?
Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.

December 29th.
1975, LaGuardia Airport.
The holiday rush.
Parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys.
Then, at 6.33 p.m., everything changed.
There's been a bombing at the TWA terminal.
Apparently, the explosion actually impelled metal, glass.
The injured were being loaded into ambulances.
Just a chaotic, chaotic scene.
In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, and it was here to stay.
Terrorism.
Law and Order Criminal Justice System is back.
In season two, we're turning our focus to a threat that hides in plain sight.
That's harder to predict and even harder to stop.
Listen to the new season of Law and Order Criminal Justice System

Imagine that you're on an airplane and all of a sudden you hear this.
Attention passengers, the pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane.
Think you could do it?
It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control.
And they're saying like, okay, pull this, do this, pull that, turn this.
It's just, I can do my ice close.
I'm Manny.
I'm Noah.
This is Devon.
And on our new show, No Such Thing, we get to the bottom of questions like these.
Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence.
Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack expertise.
And then, as we try the whole thing out for real.
Wait, what?
Oh, that's the run right.

so dinner is uh you know for max's birthday the guilt is is alive and well in me because i wasn't there
i was wondering if you were going to bring that oh you duh i mean hello reality i'm i i definitely
feel guilty that i wasn't there i as you know i feel like it's really important to um
take advantage of opportunities and spend time with, with friends. And, um, and that's kind of me
time. And got invited to go to, uh, Caitlin Bristow's 40th birthday celebration in Cabo.
And of course, just so happened to be when our son turned 18 years old. So, um,
his last birthday at our house. Would you stop that? No, not true. Because,
next year he will be at home before he goes away maybe there's no guarantees like you have to
add on like just add on to that guilt babe you're doing a real good job of that it's my job it's not your
job it's your job to support me thank god one of the parents was able to get oh oh my god spend the
18th birthday with like you haven't missed a birthday not an 18th it's a big one anyway what are you saying
about your trip to Mexico. Didn't you take Kaylin's birthday was in Mexico?
Caitlin's birthday was in Mexico in Cabo. Her mom owns a house there and was very generous in
hosting us and letting us stay there. I don't think I told you this, but her mom was going to
be there and her appendix burst. Yeah. So she couldn't be there, unfortunately. So she couldn't be
there, unfortunately. So shout out to Leslie. I wish I could have spent time with you, but
she was, she was, you know, trying to get healthy. Anyway, we had an incredible girls trip and I really
do feel like it is important for me to, I haven't had, I haven't done anything this summer.
Like, you went to have at Supe Falls, you went to, like on backpacking trips or whatever with both of
the kids. And I just, I haven't done anything. And I was like, this is the one. And I asked you
guys before, I booked the tickets. Well, and you were invited to all of those trips. It's just
those, that's not really your thing. Oh, no, no, no. Someone needed to stay home with Coda
because Max was working when you went to Havasupa. You couldn't take him. Remember what you
just said about him being our baby? Yeah.
So anyway, I thank you for being semi-supportive of the trip.
It really was like, you know, for me, social stuff fills my bucket.
You know that.
Girlfriends fill my bucket.
And I didn't, I only knew, like, I obviously, I know Caitlin.
It's her birthday and that's why I got invited.
because I'm a friend, but I only knew a couple of them because one had been on the better
et cetera podcast that I used to do. And I was on her podcast, Aaron Trelor. And then Cleo is like her,
you know, she works with Caitlin on her Spade and Sparrow's brand. So we had, we had talked. I had
never met Whitney Angel, who is Crystal's chosen person. They got engaged, but then separated. And I
adore her.
Shea, who's one of her best friends from growing up, Jess, one of her friends from growing up.
And then who am I missing?
Kat, who's like her bestie in Nashville.
And just to be able to meet new friends that we were like all on the same page, like the same wavelength,
I feel like we all are very interested in like deep connection and conversation.
and conversation, and it was just easy.
It was one of those trips where everyone got along so well, and it was just easy.
There was no drama.
She had everything, like, planned out to the nines, so didn't have to even think about anything
and could just go and have fun.
We dressed up, like abuela one night, which was so fun.
And Leslie had arranged for a mariachi band to come and serenade us.
which was hysterical.
I cannot wait for Caitlin to post our TikTok that we did,
which was so much fun.
Like, I love feeling young when I'm definitely not.
Like I was the old, the old abuela of the group.
And you didn't even have to dress up really.
I know, right?
I totally didn't.
I mean, literally, if I let my hair grow out,
it would all be white anyway.
So I actually was.
going to say that in the um like the group chat before we left i'm like do i have to really bring
anything because you know i am 52 years old um anyway yes we all dressed up i put towels in my
under my bra and it tucked in my underwear just to like give myself a little extra padding
um thankfully my friend kate cubic had like a grandma costume like costume in that she had a cane and
a wig and the glasses with the like beaded um oh my gosh it was so funny so i've put on the glasses
and it has this beaded you know the beaded thing that you put around your neck so they don't fall
off and i had them hanging in the front like i because i don't normally wear them and
whitney was like we were getting ready and she was like um i think that goes in the back you know
so that they don't fall off because the whole purpose of the beaded necklace thing that goes on your
glasses is you wear them around the back of your neck so they don't fall off and I had them
in the front and I was like oh yeah new to this granny game but you'll get it figured out I got the
pickleball portion of it yeah you're right and the mahjong portion and mahjong and mahjong um all about
those um those uh golden games um um um um I will
say we were um we were out to lunch on max's birthday and i definitely got emotional i was i was definitely
teary and um sad that i wasn't with all of you but thank i'm so thankful to blakesley because
before i left you know this was my this was my contribution is um and usually is
I will say.
I decided I was going to get him 18 presents for his 18th birthday,
went and did all the shopping, bought the guitar, bought the samba's,
bought the, you know, all the other things.
And, oh, the pool stick.
And wrap them all in our closet before I left so that Blakesly could just like take
them and set them up and got, you know, the banner out so she could hang that up.
So I was part of it.
even though it was in preparation mode.
Yeah.
I think Max had a great 18th birthday,
so I don't think it would have been nice to have you there,
obviously, if you didn't have something else going on.
But I don't think anyone holds it against you for going to spend that time in Mexico,
and we understand that you need and deserve that time.
And Max didn't, like, it didn't phase him one way or the other.
And so I think it was fortuitous for me because that vacation day popped up and I was able to get it.
And then he and I were able to take that backpacking trip and spend some really quality time together.
Blakesy had a little bit of time on her own and it all kind of worked out.
And then we ended up getting back and going to dinner and his buddies came down from the mountains and are still at our house.
And so who knows what's going on.
It's been an extended birthday.
So I think it worked out really well for everyone.
It was a great weekend.
And I think he'll remember it.
You'll remember it.
I think it's a good.
It just worked out.
It was good on a lot of different fronts.
And so I'm glad you had a good time and got to spend that time with your friends.
And I'm glad I got to spend that time with just Max.
because I don't get a lot of that opportunity these days, so it's good.
Yeah, I agree.
You guys, I thought it was really special that you were able to get time off
and that he was willing to go on this backpacking trip with you
because it's usually your little adventure buddy, Blake's Lee,
that goes on those with you.
I really feel like I'm proud of him.
He, like you've said over the past few years,
but I think most recently he's really like open to whatever.
Like he doesn't automatically say, nah, I just want to hang out and play video games or like be on my phone.
I feel like he's open to experiencing life more so lately.
Yeah.
I mean, and he was fully engaged and it wasn't like I didn't feel like he was there just to appease me.
Yeah.
You know, he was, he waded out into the lake and was looking for fish and climbing on rocks like he always did when he was little.
and he really seemed to embrace the experience and enjoy it.
And I think I anticipate him doing that on his own in his life,
which is what you hope for as a parent is that you do all these things to exemplify
the characteristics that you want your kids to some day live into.
And you don't actually see that happening until this point in their lives when they
start to come around and have an appreciation for the environment or nature and that sort of stuff
and they turn into the people that you really hoped they would turn into as you kind of guided them
along their paths but you never really know and so when you start to see little things like that
like his whiteboard with the quotes and his appreciation of going to and going camping with his
friends and all these sorts of things that yeah um at least from my side of
parenting, I always try to
sort of encourage and
he's picked up on that
which is kind of what you hope for.
Oh, he 100%
has, he
loves you, he admires you, he
looks up to you and I think
that you have done such a good job of
instilling that like love of
nature and adventure in him. So
thank you.

Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him
because he now wants them both to meet.
So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?

Tell me why.
Well, for the Backstreet Boys residency at Sphere, of course.
We sat down with Kevin Richardson and A.J. McLean just minutes before they took the stage,
and our very own Wilfredel basically became the newest member of the band.
Boy band, please.

holiday rush, parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then, at 6.33 p.m., everything
changed. There's been a bombing at the TWA terminal. Apparently, the explosion actually impelled
metal, glass. The injured were being loaded into ambulances, just a chaotic, chaotic scene.
In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, and it was here to stay.

sudden you hear this.
Attention passengers.
The pilot is having an emergency and we need someone, anyone, to land this plane.
Think you could do it?
It turns out that nearly 50% of men think that they could land the plane with the help of air traffic control.
And they're saying like, okay, pull this, do this, pull that, turn this.
It's just, I can do it my eyes close.
I'm Manny.
I'm Noah.
This is Devon.
And on our new show, no such thing.
We get to the bottom of questions like this.
Join us as we talk to the leading expert on overconfidence.
Those who lack expertise lack the expertise they need to recognize that they lack
expertise.
And then as we try the whole thing out for real.
Wait, what?
Oh, that's the run right.
I'm looking at this thing.

What would you do if one bad decision forced you to choose between a maximum
security prison or the most brutal boot camp designed to be hell on earth.
Unfortunately for Mark Lombardo, this was the choice he faced.
He said, you are a number, a New York State number, and we own you.
Shock incarceration, also known as boot camps, are short-term, highly regimented correctional
programs that mimic military basic training.
These programs aim to provide a shock of prison life, emphasizing strict discipline,
physical training, hard labor, and rehabilitation programs.
Mark had one chance to complete this program
and had no idea of the hell awaiting him the next six months.
The first night was so overwhelming, and you don't know who's next to you.
And we didn't know what to expect in the morning.
Nobody tells you anything.

so going back to katelyn's birthday um i just have to say how proud of her i am uh she has worked so hard
on herself and put so much work in there's a place called hoffman that i feel like she's
been to um i so want to go like it is like deep dive into
self
growth if you will
I don't know if that's a good way to describe it
but from what I understand
it seems so powerful
and like helping you get through
trauma and
any issues that you
work on
or need to work on in yourself
anyway I'm just really proud of her
and really happy for her
She's in such a good place right now.
And one of the girls, Erin, she's, she has this podcast called Raw Beauty Talks.
I think that's what it's called.
And really is like a life coach.
And she asked Caitlin, like every dinner or meal or just when we were sitting around, we would ask each other questions.
And we even did the living card.
thing that you guys did for me on my 50th.
You know, she was there and Curris out too,
which was really special.
But, and everyone kind of had the same sentiment that they were happy for her
and proud of her for, you know, what she's done to work on herself and her anxiety and
all of that.
And she talks openly about this.
So it's not like I'm, you know, giving up any secret.
that she has. But Aaron asked this question, like, what do you hope in this next chapter of your
life? What do you hope for yourself? And she said that she's really in the mode of protecting
her peace, which I was like, that is, I love that. And actually, I'm putting together a reel that I'm
going to put out today. And I found a song that literally says in it about protecting your
peace. I think it's called Queen Energy. And I was like, this is a perfect song. So I'm just
so proud of her. I feel really blessed and grateful to have been extended the invitation to be
part of her celebration. I mean, she celebrated a lot. This was like her last, her last celebration for
her 40th birthday and I feel really lucky that I got to be a part of it because I think I you know she gets a lot
of criticism and I think she's a wonderful beautiful human being so and I love surrounding myself
with people like that all of you guys that have been the focus of these shows and it seems
so funny to be talking about The Bachelor right after 20 whatever some years but everybody
that's put themselves out there, has had, especially lately, has had, they have an increased
level of criticism from the world because the world's just more critical than when we were on
it, there were less avenues of criticism. So that helped us. But I think it's hard for people
like Caitlin, who are great people, but people can pick up, pick them apart. And it's impossible
to not let that get to you. So for her and anyone who's going through.
those types of struggles. It's great to find places like Hoffman or just people you can talk to
or avenues that you can do some introspection and put some perspective on your life and realize
that the people that matter are the ones that go to your 40th birthday party that actually
skip their 18-year-old son's birthday party to go to your 40th birthday party because they care
so much about you and your future. And that's what more people need is.
just whether your support group is one or a hundred, everybody just needs somebody that they can
kind of go to to regain their perspective and purpose and that sort of stuff.
And so I'm glad that you were able to be a part of that for her.
And I hope that she can continue to take this momentum moving forward and really do great
things with her life.
I'm sure she will.
She's an awesome person.
So I'm glad you were able to be a part of that.
Yeah, me too. I felt like it was, it was just good energy, like really good positive energy. And I know you saw, but I got her, she loves playing cards. And I had every girl send five or six pictures of them with her. And I had playing cards made for her. And she loved it, like with everybody's pictures on them.
Yeah, you could touch you.
She loved it.
So just to be able to shower her with love because I always feel like she showers me with so much love.
Like, remember when I was sick and she sent flowers?
Like, and I was just, I was sick.
It's not like my appendix burst or anything.
So like, just I, I adore you, Caitlin, if you're listening.
And I just wish, you know, the world saw more of that positive light and energy in you that I
I see, but happy 40th birthday.
Okay, well, thanks for joining me in this amazing Verbo.
