But what if we didn't get the whole story?
I mean, this has been made to fit.
The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed.
What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe?

This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcasts with IHeart Radio.
Hi, everybody.
It's Trista.
Welcome back to the Almost Famous OGs podcast.
I am here with my producer, Heather.
Hi, Heather.
Hi.
Hi.
And there's been some breaking news.
the official cast for Taylor Frankie Paul's Bachelorette season has been released.
Bob and I talked about the cast when it was just names and ages.
And now we have a little bio.
So we have some more information on these guys.
And we wanted to kind of go through the guys, give a little sneak peek if you haven't read the article.
And chat about, you know, what we like about them, what we like.
like for Taylor.
Yeah, and all kinds of good stuff.
So I'm excited to get into it.
Before we dive too much into it,
I just wanted to know overall the aesthetic of these pictures.
What do you think, Trista, when you see kind of all of these guys,
what do you think about the background color?
Because that always kind of catches my attention.
What do you think?
So funny, because I feel like some of them, you know,
these are official now.
But when Bob and I did it before,
it seemed like they were outside probably at like, you know, at the production offices where they had their interview.
And they were like, we need a picture before we do like the official.
So there were some of them.
And I'm noticing that all of them are with that like kind of like topy brownish, grayish background now.
So they all are official now as opposed to when they were released before.
And that has changed over the years.
So I went back and I found my, I don't have a picture of it solo, but I did find a picture in my
Bachelorette Dropbox folder.
And if you can see, that's me with yes, of course, my shirt was tied because I was from
Miami and I had to reveal my midriff.
I mean, excuse me, so cute.
If I had a midriff like that, I would.
be showing it off too in my photo. Oh, you're sweet. So that's me. And then, and you'll notice that the
background is kind of like it looks like there's blinds in the background.
Exactly what I thought when you said to me. I was like, so Trista posed in front of a window
for her photo is what that looks like. And this is the official picture. And then the next one on
here is Jillian. And she's in the famous blue background, which I feel like the blue background.
was used, I want to say, for years and years and years, maybe even until recently.
So the blue background was used for years and years, and I actually did a little bit of a deep dive
because I was like, when did they stop using it? So take a guess what season of the Bachelor
you think they stopped using that iconic blue background for photos. So the last Bachelor was Grant.
And then Joey, let's say, who was before Joey? I'll say Joey. That would be a nice guess, but it's even further back. Ben's season of the Bachelor.
Stop! Oh my gosh. They did stop using it a long time ago. I guess I haven't thought about the pictures of the girls.
That's 10 years ago. That's 10. Yeah, that's crazy. That's a long time. They used that background for clearly a long time.
because I found a picture of you with it as well.
And we know that Ben and Ashley have their pictures with it.
So I was really like interested to see how far.
And I had to really scroll back.
And I found that Ben's was the last season.
And then the season right after Ben's,
I'm going to lose my train of thought right now,
who that was.
Might have been Ari or something,
used a much brighter blue background.
And then from there on,
they've done like topes and whites and things like that.
Yep. Yeah, it is interesting to think about how they do it. And then at the bottom of the picture is Deanna and hers is like a gold's, a gold background. So anyway, you know, going down memory lane is always fun for me because, you know, I have lots of photos from memory lane. Anywho, let's see. We're going to dig into the guys. And I think what I find most interesting,
about the majority of them is clearly they were casting for Taylor.
Clearly.
Absolutely.
I mean, it is very clear.
If you look at the photos of Tate Paul, who was her ex-husband, and then her ex-boyfriend,
who is Dakota, they look like twins, first of all.
And then if you think about all of the guys that are cast on this season,
reason, like the facial hair and the eye, like, I feel like they both have light eyes, the shape of
their face, you know, she definitely has a type when it comes to her baby daddy and her ex-boyfriend.
For sure. I think that if you just take a glance at some of these that jump out at me, I'm like,
Casey, is that Dakota? He looks so similar to him. Doug, obviously. It's a lot. It's a
in that same realm of kind of gentleman that she's interested in.
So for sure, that is something that I see across the board with these men as well.
Yeah.
Crazy.
I think it's crazy.
So the casting department, I feel like, has done a good job.
I think if they were paying attention to her baby daddies, then they did a good job because I feel like there are a few clones on here of her most recent exes.
So, and also we've got some single dads on the cast, which I think is really interesting.
When I was going through them, I didn't get to the complete end yet, but there's one of them from South Dakota and it says, you know, that he loves hanging out with his kids.
And I just wanted to know more about the kids, too, you know.
So I think that's going to be a whole other element of having a single mom as a bachelorette, you know, kind of how it was with Emily Maynard back in the day.
I think it'll be really interesting to get to meet men as well who are single dads.
I want to get to know, though, your take on this as somebody who's been in that bachelorette seat
and knows the kind of pressure and eyes that come with that position.
You know, I think that there was obviously a lot of rumblings when Taylor was announced,
well, how's she going to be a mom and film a show, you know, da-da-da-da, a lot of that.
do we think that the single dads on this cast are going to be getting that kind of scrutiny or those kinds of questions, you know, when it comes to them leaving to go film the show?
I mean, it's literally the same thing.
Uh-huh, except a woman compared to a man.
And very much so, very similar to my experience where we had had two bachelors and a guy was trying to meet.
girls or women. And then when it was my turn to turn the tables, they said, you know, I was
called every name in the book. Oh, she's going to look like a slut and she's going to look like a
horror. And because it was multiple guys and me. So the same thing goes with the double standard
of she's a single mom. Oh, she's a horrible single mom if she's going to leave her kids for
however many weeks as opposed to the single dads. Oh, good for them for going to
try to find a woman that they can, that can be part of their family life. Like, no, that is so
backwards. Like, it's not backwards. Everyone deserves love. And if you have, like, family and
support and whatever, then I am all for single parents, men, women, dad's, moms, going and finding
love however they can. Agree. Let's put a, let's put a little note down that we need to
talk about this subject when we get some of these single dads on the podcast because I'd be
interested to hear their takes on it. But let's dive in. You tell me kind of some of these guys
and what you're liking about them and what jumps off the page for you. Okay. So we've got Trenton. He is
from San Juan Capistrano in California. He is an athlete and he's 35. And now I know why he was on the
very end because he's featured in the very beginning of the article with a picture of him,
but I didn't know it was him.
So, okay, so he's a professional athlete and three-time Paralympian.
He knows what it takes, what it takes to push through challenges,
and now he's chasing a gold medal of a different kind.
Love!
When he's not training, he's spending time with his German Shepherd.
I do like a guy who loves dogs.
Loves country music or soaking up quality time with family.
Let's see.
Um, his dream superpower would be talking to dogs.
Love that.
He, what's a Mamba mentality?
Do you know what that is?
I literally don't know, but isn't like Mamba, isn't that like a nickname for Kobe?
Yes, that's what I thought.
Okay, good.
Then I think we're on the same page.
Okay.
Okay, he has a favorite flower, which is, you know, it's funny because I have to go back to,
um, when you're asked to be a cast member, I hate using that word, but when you're asked to be a
part of the show. They give you, you know, this in this huge document that you have to fill out with
all of your favorites, with your likes and your dislikes and all the things, right? They just want
to get to know you. They want to have, you know, things in the house that might make everyone
happy or drive everyone crazy a little bit. And I'm sure they asked what is your favorite flower?
Because I don't know that any of these guys would necessarily be just be offering up. Oh,
And my favorite flower is a snap dragon.
Of course.
Knowing me, if I were to fill one of those things out, it'd probably be all sarcastic answers that I would then regret if they were tied to me for the next 20 plus years on the internet.
Exactly.
Which is why I always say, if you're going to do any of these shows, get rid of the sarcasm.
Because people will take it to be truth.
And you can't allow that to happen.
Very true.
Well, while we're at the bottom, maybe we go up one.
to shame.
Yeah, for sure.
But I do want to say for Trenton,
I do want to know he has a prosthetic leg
and I would love to know the story.
So I'm actually looking forward to meeting him that first night
on my television and seeing if they get into how he lost his leg.
Or a background package or maybe it comes up.
Yes.
But I agree that kind of representation on the show
I think has been very few and far between.
So I think that that's great.
And we saw in the video I just texted you of the guys dancing,
him dancing, and he's showing that part of himself on camera.
And I kind of like love that they made them dance because Taylor being a TikTok dancer
and like doing that for fun, it all is kind of intertwined in her world.
So I'm with you.
I'm interested to hear more about his story.
Yes, I'm intrigued.
I want to know more.
Okay, so next we have Shane.
We're going from the bottom of the list.
Oh, he's a cutie.
I mean, look at those manicured nails.
I think Shane is very cute.
And I...
Very cute.
He's giving young A-Rod vibes.
I mean, that's what I think.
Yes.
He's reminding me of somebody else, though.
Was he reminding you of Derek Cheater?
Young Derek Cheater.
No.
I mean, they're all, he's giving me young athlete.
Like, can we do this on our phone and be like, who is this?
Who is this?
This is what I'm going to do.
I'm going to take a picture.
Are you going to face scan him?
I'm going to face scan him and I'm going to say, who does this, who is his celebrity
doppelganger?
Oh.
You know, who is his celebrity?
Isn't that the word doppelanger?
Yeah.
Well, while you're doing that, I'll say Shane is 28.
He's from Atlanta, Georgia, and he's a private wealth planner.
So right off the bat, 28, that means he is slightly younger than Taylor versus older, like Trenton was that we just talked about.
It says Shane is outgoing athletic, is an outgoing athletic charmer with a heart of gold.
The private wealth planner says he's never met a stranger.
thanks to his natural ability to connect with just about anyone.
While Shane is a certified yapper who can talk one's ear off for hours,
he's also an incredible listener.
He proudly calls himself his feature wife's ride or die and is fiercely loyal to the people he loves.
You know, fun facts about him, he is a massive Uno enthusiast.
Got a love again, Uno.
If Shane has something stuck in his teeth,
begs that you tell him. Okay, Shane, we got you covered. And she keeps a running note of the best
breakfast burritos he's ever had. I know somebody who will appreciate that note. And that is our
engineer Easton who also appreciate breakfast burrito recommendation. So I like all these things about
Shane. I think he's one of the cute ones in the bunch for sure. He is a looker. That is for sure.
And I'm going to say it again.
His manicured nails is like definitely a green flag.
And then his eyes and his lips.
Like I am like, okay, he's real cute.
Obviously, I've got a really cute guy in the other room.
But he's got a very nice haircut.
I think I'm very captivated by that watch he's wearing.
I know.
I kind of want to know what it is.
It looks like a little.
Michelle, maybe it's not.
I don't know.
It's a very nice watch.
He's working it in that picture.
He's working it.
Yes.
Agreed.
He's smizing with his eyes.
He is smizing.
He's not doing teeth.
Mm-hmm.
Maybe because he had something in his teeth.
No, just kidding.
Shane.
Yep.
No, he's cute.
He's cute.
I would like to see how tall he.
Does it say how tall they are?
Nope, it doesn't.
I do love the Uno enthusiast.
part because since she has kids,
Uno is such a good game with kids.
We were just talking about how Max used to play Uno all the time with my mother-in-law.
That's a really good point.
Yeah, I love, I love that he likes Uno.
Okay, so moving on, we've got Ron.
He is from San Francisco.
He's 28, a count exec.
He knows his worth and what he wants.
And that's Taylor.
He is looking for someone self-aware.
that is definitely her, kind, family-oriented and capable of loving unconditionally,
just like his parents, that's sweet.
He can be analytical, isn't afraid to tap into his emotions.
Growing up in the Philippines, tag along, I don't even know.
That's a language.
It says tag along was his first language.
I've never even heard of that language.
That's amazing.
I love learning new things.
He's best friends with his mom.
Oh, well, that can be a good thing, or,
a bad thing when it comes to, yeah, right?
Because you don't want the mom to get in the way of your relationship.
So as long as she, you know, knows her place and they can still be best friends.
That's great.
He would make origami orchids when he was younger for girls he liked.
Do we think there's going to be an origami orchid going to be on the show or even an
origami rose?
I'm going to say that's his limo.
entrance trick.
Yeah.
That is a limo entrance trick.
While I wait for you to give me a rose, here's one for me or something like that.
Exactly.
Sorry, guys, to ruin the magic.
He's going to be folding it as he gets out of the car.
You think so?
It'll already be pre-folded and then he'll finish doing it and handed to her.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep.
We're calling it.
We're calling it.
That's a night one limo entrance trick.
Oh.
He has a.
A beta fish.
Oh, nine months old.
I mean, that's good to be able to keep a fish alive for nine months.
I see a joke about him being beta, being thrown at him, being a man.
Sorry, not something that I'm interested in.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay, so Ron, I'm not sure I see him lasting that long.
And honestly, a lot of it has to do with the fact that he.
just doesn't look like her type, you know, the Dakota and the and the tates of the crew.
There's no facial hair.
Annie's younger.
It's just, I'm not, I'm not seeing it really for her either.
Yeah.

Hi, this is Joe Winterstein, host of the Spirit Daughter podcast, where we talk about astrology,
natal charts, and how to step into your most vibrant life.
And I just sat down with a mini driver.
The Irish traveler said when I was 16, you're going to have a
terrible time with men.
Actor, storyteller, and unapologetic Aquarian visionary.
Aquarius is all about freedom-loving and different perspectives, and I find a lot of people
with strong placements in Aquarius are misunderstood.
A son and Venus and Aquarius in her seventh house spark her unconventional approach to
partnership.
He really has taught me to embrace people sleeping in different rooms, on different houses,
and different places, but just an embracing of the is-ness.
of it all.
If you're navigating your own transformation
or just want to chart side view
into how a leading artist
integrates astrology,
creativity, and real life,
this episode is a must listen.
Listen to the Spirit Daughter podcast
starting on February 24th
on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you listen to your podcast.
What if mind control is real?
If you could control the behavior
of anybody around you,
what kind of life would you have?
Can you hypnotically persuade someone
to buy a car?
When you look at your car, you're going to become overwhelmed with such good feelings.
Can you hypnotize someone into sleeping with you?
I gave her some suggestions to be sexually aroused.
Can you get someone to join your cult?
NLP was used on me to access my subconscious.
NLP, aka neurolinguistic programming, is a blend of hypnosis, linguistics, and psychology.
Fans say it's like finally getting a user manual for your brain.
It's about engineering consciousness.
Mind games is the story of NLP.
It's crazy cast of disciples
and the fake doctor who invented it at a new age commune
and sold it to guys in suits.
He stood trial for murder and got acquitted.
The biggest mind game of all,
NLP might actually work.
This is wild.
Listen to Mind Games on the Iheart radio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
What do you do in the headlines
don't explain what's happening inside of you?
I'm Ben Higgins, and if you can hear me, is where culture meets the soul, a place for real conversation.
Each episode, I sit down with people from all walks of life, celebrities, thinkers, and everyday folks,
and we go deeper than the polished story.
We talk about what drives us, what shapes us, and what gives us hope.
We get honest about the big stuff, identity when you don't recognize yourself anymore, loss that changes you, purpose when success isn't enough, peace when your mind,
won't slow down, faith when it's complicated.
Some guests have answers.
Most are still figuring it out.
If you've ever felt like there has to be more to the story,
this show is for you.
Listen to if you can hear me on the I-HeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Okay, we've got Rod next.
Oh, he's got a nose ring.
Great smile.
Like, great smile.
You can tell he's very charismatic.
I don't know. And the dimples, got to love a guy with dimples, right? He looks fit. He's 35.
What do you think about the double necklace? Knows with the double necklace and the hands aren't in the photo, but I'm going to guess he's a ring wearer.
Or a bracelet wearer. Like, I'm feeling jewelry with him. See, he's from Austin. And I don't know. Austin is like cool vibes. And like, what's that saying? Isn't it something.
about being weird?
No, that's maybe that's a different city.
Stay weird, but isn't that another?
Stay weird or something?
Yeah, something like that.
It might be another city.
Anyway, I don't mind, I don't mind the jewelry.
I think if that's his, if that's his vibe and he, that's who he is, then I, I love it.
I think he actually looks good with all this jewelry.
And if he's wearing rings, it's fine with me too.
He was in the military for 17 years, so you know that he's very disciplined.
I would think.
Oh, and he started his own business
supporting kids in the foster care system.
Okay.
There's some points.
I would also think there's probably a story there
because that seems like a very specific thing
to get involved with.
So I'm interested to hear more about that.
Totally agree.
He admits that it takes him a while to text back.
Well, I feel like Taylor might be able to relate to that
because she's just busy.
So she probably isn't the fastest text her either.
So I don't know.
I think maybe it would probably depend on who he's texting, I would assume.
And if he ends up with Taylor, I don't think that will be a problem.
Yeah.
Okay.
I really like him.
He's definitely getting past the first night.
For sure.
He's very cute and he looks just extremely charismatic just from his photo.
So I would agree, definitely getting past night one.
Okay, next we've got Richard, and he is not, he's, he's not necessarily even smizing.
He's not necessarily smiling with his eyes.
He's kind of giving that, what's that movie?
No, what's that movie where, you know, he turns and it's been the model, Zoolander.
Oh, blue steel.
He's giving a little blue steel in your opinion.
I got to say, look at that watch, Trista.
That is like a compass on his wrist.
That is, that's a big old watch.
I don't hate it.
But I'm just like, whoa, that's a watch on that guy.
That is a watch.
And it doesn't, I mean, maybe he has brown shoes on, but he has all black on and he's got a brown watch on.
So style points.
Yeah.
Purple, not my favorite.
color necessarily for a photo again that that's going to follow you around for the next 20 years.
I don't know.
I probably would have done blue or green or something a little bit softer, but purple.
That's a choice, Richard.
Okay, wait.
I have something to say.
He's a photographer.
Ah.
So maybe he knows that he doesn't want to wear, like, certain colors that might compete
with the background.
I don't know.
But he's a photographer.
You would think that he would.
know his colors. Maybe he's a colorblind photographer. I don't think it's a bad photo, Richard. I
definitely don't. No, I don't either. I think he is very good looking. He's got the jaw line. He's got
the facial hair. When we did this last time, I said he was the most attractive out of the
group last time on their regular photos. Yeah. I don't see, I wish I remembered what I said about
everybody. No, it's okay. He's got the very masculine like Adams apple, you know, I feel like that's a
very masculine when you have like a very prominent. It's very prominent. It is very prominent.
He does have a good manicure. So I'll give him points for that. And Taylor obviously comes from the
world of social media. So if he's a photographer, then it's already built in that maybe he'll like
follow her around and do her TikToks for her. I think honestly, I think Richard popped up on my TikTok feed recently.
I think he's an active TikToker.
I think I can't recall exactly if it was him or somebody who looks exactly like him.
But I'm pretty sure that Richard is an active TikTok user.
Not with dancing or anything like that, but like talking to camera.
Okay.
I love it.
I love that he loves to explore the outdoors.
He's from Charleston, South Carolina.
Love Charleston, although this came up definitely when we went over the guys before.
in terms of their location.
So I just wonder if, I mean, as a photographer, you can really go anywhere for your job,
but I wonder if Taylor would move because, you know, she is part of the Mormon culture in Utah
and also has kids who are being raised with two different baby daddies who I believe are located in that area.
So I don't see her leaving.
I don't know.
I could be wrong, but I don't see her leaving.
No, I don't think so.
Yeah, I think like where they live and if they're willing to make the move will definitely be part of their conversations.
And if it's not, it should be.
Can we talk about Mike T because anytime I see this in a bio, my alarm bells go off.
So Mike T from New Jersey, it says in here, this easygoing New Jersey is a reform.
Bad Boy. Okay. So when I see
Bad Boy in a bio for a television show,
I'm getting this guy.
Let's let's, this is my bet. This is the guy who starts something or ruffles feathers
or gets a little alpha in the house with the other guys. This guy might be the one
who I don't know if he's the villain, but I bet you he's, he's,
He ends up on maybe the two on one where somebody ends up going home, you know, because of friction in the house.
That is what, that is a strategic move to put reformed bad boy in somebody's bio.
Because guess what?
He did not come in there saying that.
He did not come in and call himself a reformed bad boy.
He probably came in, said something else about himself.
And the producers asked, would you say you used to be a bad boy?
And he'd be like, yeah, probably was.
And that's how that ends up in a bio.
Nobody comes in saying, I'm a reformed bad boy.
No, of course.
You don't want to admit to that, first of all, that you were ever a bad boy.
You know what I mean?
I mean, I guess it is nice for him to, if that did come out of his mouth, to say, like, you know, I realize the error of my ways, you know, back then if I was a bad, bad boy.
because, you know, a bad boy can have a positive connotation for women who like bad boys.
Yeah.
You know, like if he drives a motorcycle or something.
They're going to really play this up, okay?
It already has in here.
He likes to watch his favorite TV show, The Sopranos, and he's from New Jersey.
I mean, they're already telling us exactly who this guy is.
You're right.
Mike is the happiest when he's got an iced coffee on the beach, we're at a Yankees game.
Okay, okay, Jersey boy.
This guy is going past night one.
I already know it.
Oh, for sure, especially because they'll want to keep him around to be that alpha.
I see the alpha.
Exactly.
In that bio.
Yep.
Agreed.
Okay, next is Michael Babba.
Babba, Baba, we don't know.
Baba.
He's from San Diego, which love.
San Diego, he's a chiropractic healer, which, you know, lately I've been seeing Taylor,
she's been posting a lot about her, like, struggles, like mental health struggles and, you know,
how life isn't always put together and how she deals with it.
And I feel like she would be totally open to dealing, not dealing, to finding a guy who is a chiropractic healer.
Yeah. Just to help her.
You know, with that kind of stuff. Maybe you need to be aligned. Maybe this is all that's missing is you need your back cracked a little bit.
No, no, but I even see chiropractic healer as more than just the like the cracking of bones, you know? I feel like it's more like woo-woo. You know what I mean? Like, and maybe a lot of that stuff, you know, that she posts about that helps with her mental health. I feel like he's and he's from San Francisco.
Diego, kiteboarding, like I can see he probably likes the ocean.
I can see him being like, I don't know, a healer and wanting to help her through that.
So I think that's a green flag.
He likes fantasy novels, which to me is not a green flag, but good for you, Michael, that
you admitted that you like fantasy novels.
Totally.
Oh my gosh.
Although, you know, Game of Thrones was a fantasy novel.
Sure, sure, sure, sure.
I did not read Game of Thrones, loved the movie, love the show, and watched all the episodes, but you won't catch reading about dragons.
You're right.
I hear you.
You're right.
This one intrigues me, Matt, because it's the first that we've covered now on the list that is a dad.
He's a real estate broker, proud father of three.
So, whoa, they are going to really be, if she hits it off with Matt, they are a actual Brady Bunch.
you know, yours, mine, and hours at that point because she'll have three, he'll have three,
that is a big, that's a lot of kids if that is, if she hits it off with him.
But he grew up in Guatemala City and the UK.
So I wonder, does Matt have a muddled British accent?
That'll be interesting to see if that's the case.
But I'm interested to know kind of more about his, oh, what, in another life.
Matt would love to have been a fashion photographer in Paris.
His favorite sound is his kids laughing.
That's adorable.
And I'm interested to hear more about his past in the sense that 43, three kids single,
that's significantly older than Taylor.
She's 31.
So that means that he has, I'm assuming he got married young.
And I would think that his divorce probably wasn't super recent.
That's just a guess.
But that would also mean that his kids might be in a very different age bracket than her kids who are, she's got one in diapers or, you know, really young baby toddler.
And then she's got two kids that are slightly older than that.
So I'm interested to see if she's, if that's intriguing to her being one with a guy that's significantly older.
And two, being with a guy that has.
the same amount of kids that she has.
I am interested about two things.
One is he's six foot eight feet, eight inches tall.
That is really tall and Taylor is really tiny.
So like I don't, I mean, it seems like she probably likes taller guys, but six eight is
a big difference.
So I'm interested to see how that unfolds.
And then also, I don't know if you notice this.
but he has like a forearm, um, tattoo.
Mm-hmm.
And that's interesting to me.
Like, it's like, it's kind of like the barbed wire back in the day.
You know how people would get barbed wire around their, um, their biceps or whatever.
So I'm interested to know what, um, what that tattoo represents.
Well, if you zoom in, so it's thick line, thinner line.
And then the third is actually Roman Newman.
numerals all together, with dots in between it looks like. So I would guess those are maybe some
significant birth dates, maybe of his children, maybe of somebody who's passed on. Usually that's
what Roman numerals signify when they're tattooed on somebody. I can personally say as somebody who
used to date somebody who is six, nine, Taylor will do just fine with a tall man. Perfect.
The best part is when they can reach stuff on the top shelf for you. And I'm sure. Oh my gosh.
literally I was reaching up there in my office trying to get a book down and I'm like,
where is Ryan when I need him?
Okay, we're on to Marcus.
He is from Elmont, New York.
He's a creative director and he's 28 years old.
Nice smile.
Same.
He's got a good manicure.
I'm wondering if the producers like said,
make sure you get your manicures or if it's just a thing these days are guys like into
manicures because they all have really, they take care of their nails. I'm way more captivated,
Trista, by the fact that these guys are all showing up in watches, like everybody's a really nice
timepiece or double necklaces or something, you know, so they were all like, oh, photos
getting taken. I better wear a watch. Oh, I can't wait until we get to the next guy because
the outfit. But Marcus, it says, is a former basketball star turned creative director.
And so I don't know if you saw this, Trista, but Taylor just competed in the NBA All-Star game.
And that's because she used to play basketball when she was younger.
I love it.
I was just going to bring that up.
Yeah, Ben and I talked about it on our podcast for Frankie Fridays and how she was doing the NBA All-Star game.
And I love that.
I think they'll definitely have a lot to talk about when it comes to basketball.
Oh, no, he once got attacked by a bird.
on a run.
Oh, no.
Okay.
I would love to hear that story.
And his favorite food is pancakes.
I mean, it seems like he's pretty low maintenance and he has a passion for fashion, music, and shooting hoops.
It seems like, you know, on paper, maybe they'll have, you know, a lot to talk about, hang out.
Yeah.
I don't know.
He's cute.
He's got a great smile.
Great smile.
I think he's awesome.
Okay, well, Malik, from Brooklyn, tech executive, 30 years old, Malik, I'm going to say,
who lets you wear this jacket?
It's like cotton candy, bluish green.
It looks like it might be fuzzy.
It's fuzzy.
It is fuzzy.
And I don't love it for you, Malik.
I don't love that this jacket is going to be on you for the next 20 years when somebody
Googles your name.
So not feeling the jacket.
I mean, I like that he's confident enough to go with a color like this.
But I do have to say for someone who's going to go on television, I don't know if guys
know about this, but there are people who do like color matches and they match your like,
they basically put like colors in front of you and they tell you what your color is.
like what the best color is for you.
Yes, like your season or, yeah.
So this color, to me, I would have put him in a dark color,
like a black or a dark like burgundy or something like that,
but not like a light minty green.
He's giving Easter egg right now.
Yeah, right.
It's the light jeans.
It's the light jacket.
It's the light tish underneath.
We're just, we're just, we're not emphasizing Malik, but I'm sure you're a very nice gentleman.
I like your haircut.
I like your eyebrows.
But I just, the jacket, it's not working for you.
I also don't really love the pose.
I don't love the, what is this pose he's doing with his hand on his chest, middle of the upper tummy?
I'm not, I'm not feeling it.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, I see that.
I do, coming from the world of dance, I feel.
Like that's just something that. And maybe he's a ballroom dancer because that's something like
ballroom dancers do. Like when they're doing a move, I swear to you.
Maybe he's a ballroom dancer.
Fun facts about Malik is he loves Halloween, especially costumes. Okay, Malik.
And then Malik once had a mohawk, but he won't show you a picture of it. And Malik has a
playlist for every occasion. Okay, well, every group of guys needs a guy that.
controls the playlist. So I love that for you. A little bit of a question mark, Malik,
on how far I think you're going to go in this competition. But, oof, that jacket.
Go is throwing it back.

Hi, this is Joe Winterstein, host of the Spirit Daughter podcast, where we talk about astrology,
natal charts, and how to step into your most vibrant life.
And I just sat down with a mini driver.
The Irish traveler said when I was 16, you're going to have a terrible time with men.
actor, storyteller, and unapologetic Aquarian visionary. Aquarius is all about freedom-loving and different perspectives,
and I find a lot of people with strong placements in Aquarius are misunderstood.
A son and Venus and Aquarius in her seventh house spark her unconventional approach to partnership.
He really has taught me to embrace people sleeping in different rooms, on different houses and different places,
but just an embracing of the isness of it all.
If you're navigating your own transformation or just want to chart side view into how a leading artist integrates astrology, creativity, and real life, this episode is a must listen.

What if mind control is real?
If you could control the behavior of anybody around you, what kind of life would you have?
Can you hypnotically persuade someone to buy a car?
When you look at your car, you're going to become overwhelmed with such good feelings.
Can you hypnotize someone into sleeping with you?
I gave her some suggestions to be sexually aroused.
Can you get someone to join your cult?
NLP was used on me to access my subconscious.
NLP, aka neurolinguistic programming, is a blend of hypnosis, linguistics, and psychology.
Fans say it's like finally getting a user manual for your brain.
It's about engineering consciousness.
Mind Games is the story of NLP.
It's crazy cast of disciples and the fake doctor who invented it at a new age commune and sold it to guys in suits.
He stood trial for murder and got acquitted.
The biggest mind game of all, NLP might actually work.
This is wild.

What do you do in the headlines don't explain what's happening inside of you?
I'm Ben Higgins, and if you can hear me, is where culture meets the soul, a place for real
conversation.
Each episode, I sit down with people from all walks of life, celebrities, thinkers, and
everyday folks, and we go deeper than the polished story.
We talk about what drives us, what shapes us, and what gives us hope.
We get honest about the big stuff, identity when you don't recognize yourself anymore, loss
that changes you, purpose when success isn't enough, peace when you're,
mind won't slow down, faith when it's complicated. Some guests have answers. Most are still
figuring it out. If you've ever felt like there has to be more to the story, this show is for you.
Listen to if you can hear me on the I-HeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your
podcast. Okay, Lou from Salt Lake City, Utah, well, obviously Brownie points for the fact that he's a Utah guy.
And the fact that he is 32, so age appropriate.
He is 6.8, so we're going to have a bunch of tall drinks of water on this cast, which is crazy.
And he is a former basketball player as well.
So I think that, you know, somebody in the casting department really took it seriously that Taylor was sporty.
Taylor used to play basketball.
There will be a basketball date on this show.
There will be a basketball date.
There will be a basketball group date.
And you know, right, totally.
The 6-8 guys are each going to be on opposing teams.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
predictable.
Yeah.
If I have to go back to Malik, love you, Malik.
I'm going to guess you're not 6-8.
And so if you do believe it past the first night, you might be bummed about the basketball date.
I don't know.
for Lou it says he's a believer
he loves brunch in with the boys
ooh okay
Lou once won a twerking
in Thailand
twerking so again
we're also going to have a
you know we always have the talent
show date right
there's going to be dancing
there will be dancing there will be some sort of
TikTok dancing date
for sure they're going to have to learn
a TikTok dance and then perform
format for sure. Exactly. Exactly. We're already producing the show. I know it's already done,
but, you know, if they want to just listen to us for tips, we're here for you. Exactly.
Okay, so Lou, and I think he was in the dancing video that you sent me. He was put on the,
yeah, it was cute. Yeah. Okay, we've got Kevin. He is a PT, a physical therapist, 32 years old,
so right around her age from Miami.
And he is ready to find a connection.
He, oh, after navigating a fake dating scene,
Kevin is excited to settle down with the real deal.
What does that mean?
A fake dating scene.
That means he's either been catfished.
That means that he dated and he's not finding women with morals or values.
And, you know, that's his perspective.
that it's fake.
Got it.
Yes.
Understood.
And also, Kevin, if you're dating in the Miami area,
might say something as to why you're feeling it's fake.
Maybe he's commenting on the fake being the altercations of body parts,
and he's more into a...
Oh.
He's more into a natural woman.
So I don't know.
Kevin loves to cry while listening to Crash by Dave Matthews band.
Kevin, I'm interested.
I'm interested in that little...
tidbit.
I feel, though, Kevin, that based on this bio, I truly don't think that you're going to be
very far into this competition.
Prove me wrong.
But I've read enough of these bios to know that some of the more vague ones, they're vague
because they don't go far.
This is giving a little vague to me.
Yeah.
But also, I feel like he could be a very sarcastic person.
That could be sarcasm in the.
He loves to cry while listening to Crash, you know.
And if he's the funny guy, then maybe he'll stick around.
I don't know.
I mean, you never know.
You never know.
Okay, John, another Utah guy.
So, again, that's 28.
So it's really funny.
We're getting a lot.
We're getting older and we're getting slightly younger, but we're not getting a whole lot right in that sweet spot of like 35, you know.
And I know from doing these shows.
why that is and it's very, very difficult.
The number one reason is a guy who's 35 compared to a guy who's 28
is in a different phase in his career.
He's not going to drop at all to go film a show where he could get kicked off night
one, where he could get made fun of, where he could all these things kind of go through
these men's minds when these opportunities are approached to them.
And ultimately, a lot of them, that personal experience,
I did not work on this season of the show.
Personal experience, what I have heard and why men have turned me down for similar shows is the pay.
They do not like at the age of 35 and they tell you what the pay is.
They go, absolutely not.
I'm not missing out on my job and how much that's cost me to how much you're going to pay me.
And that is a real thing.
So nobody goes on reality TV to become rich.
That is a fact.
So I think that's why we're probably seeing less of that 35, 36, 37.
And we're seeing and we're seeing 40s and we're seeing 28.
And that's because the 28 year old is probably way more inclined to do this.
And the 40 something is already like, well, I have a full nest egg that I can roll back on if I need to.
You know what I mean?
Whereas the 35 is still in that growing stage.
That's right.
My opinion.
Yeah, I think that's a great opinion.
I find it really interesting that he's from Provo and he says that he runs in similar circles as our Bachelorette and feels they have plenty in common.
I feel like if he already runs in similar circles, then why haven't they ended up together before?
So I don't see him going that far.
I think honestly, if someone is from your town that you most likely are not going to move away from,
and you might already know him
that he might not even make it past the first night.
Interesting.
So you think that this might be one of those kind of red herrings
where we think he's going far
because he's got it all on paper,
but he actually is not.
I mean, honestly, like if they run in similar circles,
then she probably knows who he is.
And if she knows who he is,
then why haven't they dated in the past?
Let me say that.
So first of all, as a producer,
of these kinds of shows,
I knew 100%
they were going to bring in
somebody who either knew her,
somebody who either went to high school with her,
somebody who dated her cousin,
somebody who's friends of a...
I already knew that that was going to be something that happened.
Because what happens is that person
gets out of the limo on night one,
and they go,
what are you doing here?
It's like surprise.
Surprise.
Or it's a...
What if it's a misconnection opportunity?
Okay?
So she's been very on and off with Dakota.
The Dakota thing happened very quickly after her demise of her marriage.
So maybe what if this guy was with somebody and it was just like they were ships passing
in the night.
And now is the time for him.
You know, it could be one of those.
So you think he's not going to go far.
I have a feeling.
I have a feeling he's not going home night one.
Okay.
That's fine.
And I'm just saying, like, I wonder if she already knows him, would she even keep him around to, like, take up one of the spots if she already knows that they wouldn't work out, you know?
But maybe she doesn't know him enough to know, even if they run in the same circles, maybe she doesn't feel like she knows them enough and wants to at least take him on a group date to get to know him a little better.
Or she just wants to find out, like, you know, about him because she doesn't know him at all.
Who knows?
I'm just, you know, I'm just making this stuff up based on a paragraph of a bio.
What if he, it's one of those situations, right?
We've seen play out in past seasons before where the Bachelor or the Bachelorette gets intel from somebody at home about something in the cast.
True.
So it's like, oh, not saying this is the case for Josh.
But what if it's the actually he has a girlfriend back home?
My friend just told me that kind of storyline that we're seeing.
And she has like a first line, direct line of communication as to, you know, he's there for the wrong reasons.
Josh, we are making guesses here.
I'm sure you're a good guy.
It literally says, say hello to Prince Charming.
So, I mean, it says he's single as a pringle.
And he loves to indulge.
He loves to indulge in a peanut butter burger.
I don't know what that is.
What is that?
Does that mean peanut butter in a bun?
That's going to be a little bit to stick to the top of your mouth for me.
I don't know if that's enjoyable, Josh.
But maybe you have to come on the show and talk to us a little bit more about that.
He attends the tulip festival in Utah every year with his grandma.
That's the sweetest.
That's sweet.
I love that.
That's sweet.
Yeah.
No is throwing it back.

Okay, Johnny, professional baseball player 30.
Now, listen, we see the trend, right, in all dating shows.
The male athlete, the gym trainer guy, these are the guys who are much more
inclined to go on the show because it benefits them twofold. Whether they go far or not,
they get to show off their physique, their body, their competition side. And either that takes them
to somewhere else post athletic career or if they're a trainer, this gets the word out that
they're a good trainer, look at their body, maybe you want to hire them as your trainer, that kind of
thing. So that's why we see these kinds of guys come on the show. Also, athletes are extremely competitive,
which this is a competition show, whether you want to admit it or not.
That is what this show is.
It is a game show competition show where love is a focal point.
And so you need guys that are competitive because otherwise you're watching a bunch of
wallflowers sit around doing nothing.
Right.
Not fun.
So I love to see, you know, we've got baseball players, basketball players, getting into the mix.
And Johnny had some.
really interesting dance moves in that video I sent you.
He was the one who got up on the wall.
Yeah.
It was dancing.
Very interesting.
So I think that this guy is going to go far.
Johnny's signature dance moves went viral on TikTok.
Okay.
So he's already.
He's got in his face.
Presence.
This is a guy that is going, I think he's going to go far.
in this journey just because he is clearly very charismatic.
Yeah, I mean, it says the life of the party.
I will say, you mentioned the one guy, I can't remember his name,
but the one, I think he's a Yankees fan,
he's the Sopranos fan, that he was going to be the alpha on the two-on-one date.
I think he was the Yankees fan, and Johnny is a Mets fan.
I wonder if they'll be pinned against,
each other because he's from New York. Yeah, that's what I mean. Johnny's from New York. And then the other
one is from New Jersey. And maybe they like, I don't know, maybe they're besties on the show. And maybe
they don't make it past the first night. Who knows? But maybe they're going to be on the two on one.
I think any sort of accent is always a love for anybody in the casting department and production
department. So I'm going to guess on Jersey boys, got a real thick Jersey accent. Or
He's playing it up for the camera.
But I think he doesn't go home night one.
And I would guess based on this guy's dance moves and how enthusiastic he was in the
video that we just watched, he's not going home night one either.
So, Doug.
This one gets me.
So I said in a previous episode, Trista, that I was DMing with Doug for a couple of years
to get on TV.
And he turned me down.
numerous times. I remember this story. He turned me down because he was focusing on his modeling and
his acting career. So it makes me smile a little bit when I read that he's listed as a ocean
lifeguard. And I'm like, Doug, are you playing one on Baywatch? Like, as far as I know. But
anyways, I'm sure he is a certified lifeguard. They wouldn't lie about that. But is that his
actual full-time job?
I'm going to guess no.
Doug is very attractive.
He looks extremely similar to me when it comes to Dakota and all of that.
I'm slightly jealous that the Bachelorette cast has gotten him to do this show as I've
had my eye on him for three years and wanted him to be on one of my show.
But I think that that's great for him.
It says Doug wants to learn to learn guitar so he can serenade somewhere.
And Doug's love language is great banter.
Do you think, be honest, Trista, do you think that people who say that they're good at banter are actually good at banter?
I just wonder.
You know, like, who's great at banter, Bob Guinea, right?
We love Bob.
And Bob, I don't think, would ever list that he's good at banter.
You know what I mean?
I think he would.
You would, actually.
That's funny.
No, I think Doug really stands out for his looks because he truly is one of the guys in the cast that I think looks most like her exes.
And if there's a type, then he will fit right in to that type.
He is a little younger.
and like you said, just based on your knowledge of him,
seems to be kind of still finding himself, maybe,
especially if he's a lifeguard.
So, you know, who knows until we see them on our TV screen.
And then even then, you don't really truly know them
because all we see is, you know, a snippet of their journey.
So we'll have to see.
I think he's definitely making it past the first night.
We know this for sure.
Because he is like his, he is Dakota and Tate.
Like, copy paste.
So I think for sure he's making it past the first night.
We'll see where his personality gets him.
And if they're able to truly banter.
Yeah.
Like he says he is.
Conrad from Santa Monica, who is a startup founder, 32.
Good age.
Great job.
You know, he says he's out.
Good watch.
Love one.
Good watch.
I also like this shirt, jacket.
He's wearing a shacket.
It's good.
It's good for him.
Nice color.
That's the color that I would have given to the other guy.
I agree with that.
He holds an MBA from Stanford.
Okay, so I and started his own business in men's fertility sector, helping
countless couples fulfill their dream of having.
having children. Okay, so Conrad seems great on paper. I will say that. I think great on paper.
Do I think he's right for Taylor based on this? I don't think so. And I'll say this because a startup
founder, founder in the title, it's not, that's not just entrepreneur. That means when I hear founder,
I think all consuming of your life when it comes to your work and finding that balance,
So being with somebody who is like Taylor, who's an entrepreneur who's here there and everywhere, depending on the week, plus being an active mother, I just don't know if schedules will align for somebody like that. I think she needs somebody who's a little bit more fluid in terms of their career than somebody who is a founder. So yeah, that's my initial thing. And I also just don't like that it says he's a proud mama's boy. Well, yeah, sorry.
That again, like, I mean, if my son, I try to think about it in terms of if Max went on one of these shows, if Max went on The Bachelorette and he was one of the guys, if I would recommend that he say, proud mama's boy. And I don't know that I would. I wouldn't put it as part of his bio. I mean, he could bring up, you know, I love my mom or whatever. And can we call, you know, my parents? But it wouldn't be like, I don't talk to my mom every day.
of situation. And because that, when you're trying to find a love match, I think to women,
hearing that someone is a mama's boy is like threatening almost. You know, like possibly
she's going to be getting in the middle of things and and inputting herself where maybe she
isn't necessarily. It isn't, it isn't appropriate. It does make for a good hometown date, though.
We know that.
True.
Remember Barb.
I mean, from Pete's.
I do.
I mean, that would be.
So if he makes it to hometowns and we see that Mama's boy interaction could be interesting.
Okay.
I did want to talk about, where is he, Casey?
He has gorgeous eyes.
I mean, I'm drawn to those eyes.
And I love a necklace that's like a cord, you know.
He looks like he's.
very physically fit. He looks like he is somebody that is Taylor's, um, Taylor's vibe. Like,
it seems like he fits into, like with the facial hair, the, you know, the physique, everything. And he's
from Nashville. And being from Nashville, I just feel like you get points for that because it's
such a cool town. I don't know. To me, I think he's actually, you said Doug, is,
the closest to Dakota. I think Casey's the closest to, I think that they look like they could be cousins.
And I think that he is definitely her type. Obviously, it says he's a mechanical engineer, but I want to say that he was listed previously as a fitness instructor.
Or maybe we just made that up based on his arms, because look at those biceps. They are popping. He's got some guns. Yeah. So we might have just made that up.
His love language is giving gifts.
I like it.
I like it, Casey.
Love a gift giver.
Love a gift giver.
Casey loves Steve Irwin.
Oh, RIP.
That's so sweet.
If Casey could have any job, he would be the director of a science museum.
Interesting.
He likes to volunteer and he has a 3D printer.
So I see a 3D printed gift in Taylor's Future because that combines kind of his two loves.
Well, as we wrap up, I would love to point out Brad really quick.
I feel like this is an interesting one.
So Brad is from Newport Beach and he's listed as cowboy slash entrepreneur and he's 29.
Now, Trista, I don't know if you've ever been to Newport Beach.
Beach. I grew up not far from it. Not too many cowboys in Newport Beach. So I'm wondering where that is
coming from. I know. And it says his best friend is his horse. There's definitely, like, there is definitely
a very large horse community in Southern California. Oh, okay. And a lot of people that love to own
horses and ride. And if you go into different areas, like not as close to the beach there, I used to
live in a community that had horse trails along the roads.
So definitely horse enthusiast cowboy is what kind of gets me because you can be into horses
and not be a cowboy.
I love the cowboy slash entrepreneur.
To me, it screams here for the wrong reasons.
Sorry.
Okay, but wait.
So I have to debunk that because on my season of The Bachelor,
I, the title for me was Miami Heat Dancer.
That's all it said.
I had just graduated, not just, but had graduated graduate school with a master's degree in physical therapy.
I was a pediatric physical therapist.
I was not just a Miami Heat dancer.
That was my side gig.
And so even if you put like what your occupation is on the paperwork, they choose what they
write for your occupation.
So I honestly wonder, he probably wrote entrepreneur and they probably put in Cowboy.
So I don't think we should give him like, you know, negative points for putting Cowboy Entrepreneur
because I pretty much guarantee that he's not the one who wrote that.
But read the bio, Trista.
There is absolutely nothing that references the entrepreneurial spirit.
Yeah, true.
That means entrepreneur is.
is sometimes a catch-all phrase that we use in casting when it's actor, musician, influencer.
And that's because they don't like to put those titles on screens.
Now, things are changing, right?
I am surprised that out of a TikTok lead, we do not have anybody here listed as a TikToker.
Or just an influencer.
Or an influencer.
And I think that that is a choice by producers because of things.
things that I'm saying right now. We list TikToker in the bio and they go, oh, he's just,
he's just here to make dances and videos with Taylor. You're right. I see the word entrepreneur and I
don't see any follow up to owning businesses. Now, entrepreneur, mind you, can also be the catch-all
phrase for guys that are Airbnb's, hosts or own properties. And you get into your quotes.
but usually they like to say property owner, property manager.
They like something a little bit more finite.
It can also be guys that consider themselves day traders sometimes.
It can be a real catch-all, but most often than not, it is used for guys that are wanting to be influencers,
models, actors, sometimes musicians.
So you could definitely be right on there.
Yeah, we will be watching to see.
this. I love playing like the what if game before a season starts and then getting completely shot
down because I got everything wrong. I feel like you and Bob are going to have to do a bracket for
this season. Oh yes. For sure. It's not fair for me, Ben and Ashley, too, just because with you know
search we've done, we already know who goes pretty far. At least we know who goes to hometowns.
We won't be doing that and we won't be spoiling it for anybody.
don't you worry.
But it might be fun for you and Bob to do that this season.
Yes, I would love to.
So thank you, everybody, for listening to Heather and I on the Almost Famous O.G.
