Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, luckily, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend's been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate. Maybe find out how it ends by listening to the OK Storytime podcast and the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hello, it's Daniel Fischel. Writer Strong. And Will Ferdell from PodMeets World. We are back in Las Vegas and giving the people what they want, a full week of Y2K content. Tell me why. December 29th, 1975, LaGuardia Airport. The holiday rush, parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then everything changed. There's been a bombing at the TWA.

Starting point is 00:02:53 Welcome back to the Almost Famous OG podcast. I am Bob Guinea, of course, without Trista Sutter, nay. Wren on this particular interview, but I am so excited because I have a guy here who is super funny on the Golden Bachelorette, someone we got to see on this season of Bachelor in Paradise as well, and I can't wait to find out what he has been up to since leaving the beach. So please join me and welcoming Jack Lincione. Thanks for being here, Jack. Hey, thanks for having me. It's a pleasure to be here. Oh, absolutely. You are a fun guy. The energy you bring is just contagious, and I can tell you as a viewer, I appreciate it. very much. You know what? I had a ball on the show. I didn't hang around as long as I wanted
Starting point is 00:03:36 to, but stuff happens. Either way, either way. You know, it does happen. Oh, it does. And speaking of which, I mean, let's get right into it, right? I think one of the things that happened on there, what was going through your mind when you decided, you know what? Shoot or shoot? And I'm shooting my shot. I'm going to go kiss April. Because one of the things that I loved was, you know, when we kind of cut away from the romantic interlude and you're like, hey, I threw some tongue. I went for it. What were your thoughts on that? And what were you thinking in the moment?
Starting point is 00:04:09 I thought it was like fourth down and inches and I just had to go for it. And I mean, it was like, oh, my God. I mean, I don't want to go home yet. So I thought, you know, a kiss from me would do it. That's right. I mean, watching your technique, it seems like you're pretty experienced in that department. I'm old, so I have a lot of the experience. Yes, I do. That was awesome. I loved it. I loved your candor, though. You're like, hey, I threw some tongue in there. What the hell? Let's see what happens.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Were you shocked, you know, afterwards that night? And, I mean, here you kissed her. You obviously felt a connection with her. And then April went and did the unthinkable, right? she gave young buck jonathan her rose and that ultimately uh resulted in sending you and two other golden's home you know 10 minutes before she told me she was giving me to rose so i thought it was good you know and so i'm sitting there going my god now i got to go home i said because this lady goes and does this and then she said it's like happy that actually started all this problems and she goes she didn't want me on the show for some reason before i even got there she was uh lobbying for me not to go because she said i was dating christina and i saw christina in my like we never dated at that point in time since then i've seen her a few times and it's a beautiful
Starting point is 00:05:41 thing yeah no date no nothing at that time but this lady kathy you know decided that she was going to there's some trouble and and she did so I ended up going home and you know what again I had a ball I don't care I mean yeah I cared a little bit at that time because it's like
Starting point is 00:06:04 you spend all that time getting up there and all of a sudden what the hell I'm bye bye oh my God what do you think so Kathy obviously is a great friend of the show we love her but do you think maybe you're you know the conversations everyone had about you and Susan being, you know, you guys should be a couple
Starting point is 00:06:21 and all that kind of stuff. Did that make it so that Kathy maybe was like, you know, oh, well, you know, if he and Susan would have got together, you know, I'm the best friend, so he maybe he can't be here. You know, too many cooks in the kitchen, so to speak. Do you think there's anything to do with that, or was it all about Christine?
Starting point is 00:06:36 I have no idea what it was about. To tell you truth, I'm still confused, but that's okay. I don't understand most things. But that one, I definitely can't figure that one out. Yeah, I mean, it does seem interesting, right? almost like, because I was going to ask you if, you know, if maybe because of Susan and Kathy's friendship, if she was kind of off limits to you when you went to the beach.
Starting point is 00:06:57 But it sounds like she was, she was off limits to you because she, she didn't want you there in the first place. She didn't want me there. And I guarantee you, she wouldn't have been my choice. But it's just, it's just my opinion, you know. I mean, it's, again, it was a strange thing. But again, Costa Rica was beautiful. and I was fortunate enough to go.
Starting point is 00:07:21 So, you know, what the hell? And how long, I mean, I don't know if you can even tell us this part, but how long were you actually there in Costa Rica? Because, I mean, obviously, the way it looks like to us, right? You get there and then shortly there after you're going home. I mean, did you get a couple days out of it at least, that beautiful weather? Oh, yeah, I was there.
Starting point is 00:07:37 About a week, I think, maybe a little bit more, you know. Oh, that's awesome. I can't actually, I don't remember. It was just in and out type thing, you know? So, but yeah, it was cool. Well, I, you know, this was such an interesting season, right? It's the first time ever that we've had, you know, the youngans and the goldens on the same show on the same beach, right? And so there was a lot of curiosity surrounding that and a lot of things that were going on.
Starting point is 00:08:04 You know, were you in particular, like, did you find anybody that you really hit it off with and you decided, you know, I could be friends with this person. Was there, was there anyone like that that you found on the beach that you were able to, like, have some instant camaraderie with? My buddies from the show, you know? I mean, you know, done guys, but to tell you the truth, the women, I didn't, you know, Natalie was nice. Leslie was kind of hooked up with Gary at the time. So it was like, you know, and I'm not one of them's going to go in like, I'm going to hit on her a lot, you know, and try fucking steal the way. And I guess that's part of the show that I didn't understand, you know. Yeah, that is the, can I borrow you for a minute?
Starting point is 00:08:49 I mean, it's a base, you know, yeah, that's funny. You know, I'll be honest, that is a tough one, and I get it because, you know, before I was The Bachelor guy, I was on Trista's season of The Bachelorette, and I remember it was tough for me to do that, too. You know, she'd be talking with one of my buddies, and I'm not going to go over there, like, saddle my way in, so I totally understand and appreciate that. I think that's just kind of, it's one of those things that either you got that kind of move in you or you don't.
Starting point is 00:09:15 It sounds like neither you were me. had that moving us so i think we're kindred right we're kindred spirits in that regard i i agree with you and it's so funny the guy that i didn't think would do something like that tried to move in on the stuff right in front of me was uh kim so yeah oh kim comes over and starts massaging her back like right what i'm hitting on her and it's like you know they're in the i mean you to take him back and kick this ass. But they say the east side of Chicago. So, you know, but again, this is part of the show, you know.
Starting point is 00:09:53 Yeah. Well, you know what I thought was kind of cool. And I've gotten to know a lot of you guys from the golden season. I really appreciate, you know, the energy, like I said, that you all bring to the whole franchise, frankly. In my opinion, it was long overdue and it's been really spectacular. But in watching the season, it seemed like the goldens came to part. Like the Goldens are rolling in there.
Starting point is 00:10:14 You guys are just coming in to have a great time. You got body shots going on. You're telling great stories and awesome secrets. Do you think the younger Paradise people, you know, if they had a chance, what do you think are some things they could learn from you guys? Patience. You know, I mean, there was nobody in any urgency until that last day about any rose or anything because we were all just enjoying each other's company and everything.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Yeah. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam. Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit. Well, Dakota, it's back to school week on the OK Storytime podcast, so we'll find out soon. This person writes, my boyfriend has been hanging out with his young professor a lot. He doesn't think it's a problem, but I don't trust her. Now, he's insisting we get to know each other, but I just want her gone. Now, hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That sounds totally inappropriate.
Starting point is 00:11:10 Well, according to this person, this is her boyfriend's former professor, and they're the same age. It's even more likely that they're cheating. He insists there's nothing between them. I mean, do you believe him? Well, he's certainly trying to get this person to believe him because he now wants them both to meet. So, do we find out if this person's boyfriend really cheated with his professor or not?
Starting point is 00:11:28 To hear the explosive finale, listen to the OK Storytime podcast on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Hello, it's Daniel Fischel, writer strong, and Wilfredel from PodMeets World. And we're bringing you Viva Las Contest. That's right. We are back in Las Vegas, the city of sin, and giving the people what they want. A full week of Y2K content. Wait, we're back in Vegas? Tell me why.
Starting point is 00:11:55 Well, for the Backstreet Boys residency at Sphere, of course. We sat down with Kevin Richardson and A.J. McLean just minutes before they took the stage, and our very own Wilfredel basically became the newest member of the band. Boy band, please. Plus, the man who has the longest running comedy show on the show on the show. Strip joins us and gets his props. It's Carrot Top, baby. And finally, we all L-O-V-E-Hur, Ashley Simpson-Ross, joins us to talk about her upcoming
Starting point is 00:12:23 sold-out Vegas residency. It's a full week of nostalgic interviews you don't want to miss. Listen to PodMeets World on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. December 29th, 1975, LaGuardia Airport. The holiday rush, parents hauling luggage, kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then, at 6.33 p.m., everything changed. There's been a bombing at the TWA terminal.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Apparently the explosion actually impelled metal, glass. The injured were being loaded into ambulances. Just a chaotic, chaotic scene. In its wake, a new kind of enemy emerged, and it was here to say. Day. Terrorism. Law and order criminal justice system is back. In season two, we're turning our focus to a threat that hides in plain sight. That's harder to predict and even harder to stop. Listen to the new season of Law and Order Criminal Justice System on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, and I'm the host of the on-purpose podcast, and today I'm joined by one of the greatest athletes of all-time Novak Djokovic. The world's number one, male tennis player. He's won 14 grand slams in a glittering career. Novak Djokovic! You've been through so many injuries, losses. I always heard himself. What has Novak Djokovic done? What goes through your mind when you lose? I just want to be left alone. What has it taken to become Novak Djokovic?
Starting point is 00:14:12 It's a consistent practice. It's prayer work, mindfulness, meditation, conscious breathing. It requires more responsibility from you on a daily basis to prepare yourself for the biggest battle. When you reach your 30, you start counting your days to your retirement. I'm 38 this year. How far can I go? How long can I push my own limits? Listen to On Purpose with Jay Shetty on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:14:40 The U.S. Open is here. And on my podcast, good game with Sarah Spain. I'm breaking down the players from rising stars to legends chasing history. The predictions will we see a first time winner and the pressure? Billy Jean King says pressure is a privilege, you know. Plus, the stories and events off the court and, of course, the honey deuses, the signature cocktail of the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open has gotten to be a very fancy, wonderfully experiential sporting event.
Starting point is 00:15:08 I mean, listen, the whole aim is to be accessible and inclusive. For all tennis fans, whether you play tennis or not? Tennis is full of compelling stories of late. Have you heard about Icon Venus Williams' recent wild card bids? Or the young Canadian, Victoria Mboko, making a name for herself? How about Naomi Osaka getting back to form? To hear this and more, listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain, an Iheart women's sports production in partnership with deep blue sports and entertainment
Starting point is 00:15:34 on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. So I know your time on the show is a little short-lived and obviously much shorter than you or us watching at home would have wanted it to be. But let me ask you this. So you get home and then you find out about the money element, right? The cash prize. Was it something? Was that, were you upset about that?
Starting point is 00:16:05 Were you upset that you didn't hear about it beforehand? And it would have it affected how you handled any of those moments you had while you were. were there on the beach? Would it change anything? It's funny you asked that question because I was talking with some people and I said, you know, it turned into a game show at the end. I said, and there was a, there was like a 50 grand prize,
Starting point is 00:16:24 I think, and they said, and you didn't go for it. I said, I would have been really, I don't know if I would have done anything different. But it's a great idea. Yeah, I mean, hindsight is 2020, right? he's an armchair quarterback said, oh, I would have done this. And I wondered, you know, just from a standpoint of the fact that it wasn't even introduced while you were there, if that was, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:50 a bummer or if you were kind of like, you know, hey, man, if I would have just made it one more day, perhaps I would have heard about it, you know, or whatever. I was curious about that. But it sounds like you wouldn't, you wouldn't have changed anything. You know, yeah, and I wouldn't have changed anything. And, you know, again, who gets to do this shit at my age? I mean, you know, hey, I'm going to Costa Rica. What are you going to close to me. I'm going to be on a TV show. I mean, yeah. Yeah, it's pretty cool, right? I mean, I think it's interesting. People, you know, I think people take it for granted when they're in the moment. And that's one of the things,
Starting point is 00:17:22 you know, as I've gotten to know a lot of you folks from the Golden Seasons, Golden Seasons, I should say, I have appreciated the fact that you all are just living in the moment, you're enjoying it, you're having fun with it. And, you know, that high, that perspective that you have with respect to everything else you've lived your life doing, it's like, you know, this is this is just another awesome moment right just another another bucket list thing that hey i got to do the tv show in costa rica you know who's who's gonna ever think that would happen in their lives and it's so cool that you guys appreciate that and appreciate the moment exactly but couldn't have had it on my bucket list because never even dreamed of doing it you know exactly
Starting point is 00:18:00 it wasn't even like a thought and then all of a sudden you know i'm on the the the one thing and next thing i remember that one of the weirdest times was when they sent me to dancing the stars and I was like sitting right next to everybody and there's cameras going off everywhere and I'm sitting here and I'm going oh my god how in the hell did I get here I mean last year I was watching dancing in the stars from my living I mean that was just really really cool I had I had one of those moments too back when I was when I was the after I was the bachelor and I remember sitting there I was I was on Oprah I was on Oprah show and I was cooking with her chef and I had the exact same moment, I was like, I kind of just looked around and soaked it in for a second because
Starting point is 00:18:45 I, you know, I didn't know how long I was going to last. And I was like, this is just so fun. And I would have never thought I'd be hanging out with Oprah cooking with her chef. You know, it's like just bananas. So I think that's so cool that you did that because I can tell you that's one of those moments. In retrospect, I was thankful that I had that moment too, you know. Yeah, it was, it was great. That night we went out for dinner and she was there from the Dancing with the Stars. Iona. She was really cool. cool. But yeah, all of this stuff is just like amazing. And, and, you know, it could end, it could have ended at best than pair breaks. And it still could. And you know what if it did? I had a hell
Starting point is 00:19:26 of a time. So it wasn't. Wouldn't have been, wouldn't have been bad to have a hell of a time and win half a million bucks, though, right? I mean, that could have been a cool moment, too. Yeah, that would have been real cool. Yeah, heck yeah. I wouldn't, I wouldn't complain about that at all. Well, you know, I know that, you know, I'm sure you're still watching all your friends on the show and, you know, you're kind of seeing it all play out. Who are you rooting for? Who are you rooting for now that you're kind of at home now back on that same couch you were watching dancing on? Now you're watching your buddies in the paradise. You know, anybody that you're watching, you're thinking this is going to happen.
Starting point is 00:19:58 I'm excited for them. You know, I would say for Keith, but he's got Kathy and I don't really care for her. or I would say, you know, or I would say faith with a captain, but captain's a pain in the neck sometimes, too. So I can't say I'm rooting for. So as far as who I'd root for, I don't know. I mean, for who's left, it's, I kind of like the ones that they sent home. Yeah, yeah, yeah, of course, I get it.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I get it. What about, like, any of the young bucks? Like, anybody, did you find yourself? You know, I know, like, obviously, I know, Jonathan got that rose and sent you all and sent a bunch of you home, which, which, which was unfortunate. But did you get a chance to hang out with him? Did you get a chance to hang out with, you know, Jonathan, yes.
Starting point is 00:20:47 And Jonathan's a great guy. You know, I ran into Jonathan at a lot of different affairs. And I just think he's a fantastic. In fact, on the way off, I went and I said something, hey, I thought you were my buddy or something, you know, like that. And you said, Jack, I'm going, I'm just screwing around. You had not to do it. He looked as shocked as anybody in that.
Starting point is 00:21:06 And he was like, you want, you know. Yeah, I mean, I think a couple of the couples on there that are interesting, and you probably got to know them way better than I know I have. I don't know any of them. It would be like Jess and Spencer, Cat and Dale. Any of them kind of like jumping out at you as people that you think potentially could kind of move on to the next step? Like maybe we get a little paradise engagement?
Starting point is 00:21:30 I don't know. Andrew, I liked him, you know, a lot. And I thought that they were really a good couple. And all of them were good dudes. They were all good dudes. And I never had a body like that when I was their age. God, you see? They didn't make them like that when we were their age, buddy.
Starting point is 00:21:51 I don't think they existed. I think that guys concentrate on that stuff 24 hours a day. I'm telling you. I'm telling you. I, yeah, when they didn't even have six packs available when I was the bachelor. So it's not even right. It's not even fair. you know now now it seems like everybody just is born with them i don't know where the heck that comes
Starting point is 00:22:08 from but man i've been trying for a long time i still walk around with a one pack and it doesn't seem to be doing anything hey so a couple questions for you obviously now right we're rolling into the next season of the golden bachelor and that's coming up and everyone's of course heard about you know mellowins who's going to be the new golden bachelor and and some comments he made um you know uh ahead of filming and he recently publicly apologized for those comments And so I want to, and I'm sure you've been asked this question many times, so I'm not going to ask it. I'd rather ask you this. What do you think Mel has to look forward to when it comes to dating women 60 plus versus younger women?
Starting point is 00:22:46 Like, what do you think he can look forward to with having that opportunity? You know, the only thing is, is that, you know, I've dated a lot of women that were younger than me, and I've dated a lot of women that were older than me. And to tell you the truth, I never asked their age, and I really didn't care what they're age. If they were nice, nice is my first prerequisite. Sure. You know, after that, you know, pretty is nice, you know, if they can have the nice with it.
Starting point is 00:23:14 But no, you got, that's what you got. Well, kindness is free, right? It's easy. Right. I always tell my boys, I have two young sons, and I always tell them, like, it takes more muscles to frown than it does the smile. And if you being nice to someone makes their day a little bit better,
Starting point is 00:23:30 aren't you going to feel good about yourself? And they're like, yeah. I go, then let's do that. Let's make people laugh instead of making them cry. Let's just have a good time. And you obviously carry that energy with you. You can tell. You know, you're just, you roll into the party and it's like between you and Keith,
Starting point is 00:23:42 and I love Keith, I'm always like, which one of these guys are going to make me laugh first? Because they're both going to be funny. Oh, yeah, Keith, we were in Vegas, you know, a couple of weeks ago. We were all in Vegas, the 16 guys. You talk about a comical trip. Oh, that was funnier in the mouth. I was actually going to ask you about that because I saw some of the stuff on Instagram. and everything else. I was going to ask you, you know, if you had a chance to sum that trip up
Starting point is 00:24:07 in a couple words, you know, how would you sum that up? A lot of fun. Yeah, there you go. And the camaraderie actually built more because, you know, here we are. I don't know, you know, we drank together quite a bit, which was always fun. And we went to the pool and there were, you know, bikinis at the pool, so we were enjoying everything at the pool. It was a very nice time. Not only that, so a lot of the ladies in those bikinis recognized us and wanted to come to take pictures. And, yeah, we did a lot of pictures.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Oh, hell, yes. Yeah. Again, it doesn't take any, it doesn't cost anything for you guys to, if they're fans of the show and they want to get a picture, I think it's really great that you're like, I'm never too busy to that stuff, even now, 20-some years later. So if someone asked me for a photo, I'm like, sure, you know. My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Well, wait a minute, Sam.
Starting point is 00:25:12 Maybe her boyfriend's just looking for extra credit.

In season two, we're turning our focus to a threat that hides in plain sight. That's harder to predict and even harder to stop. Listen to the new season of Law and Order Criminal Justice System on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, and I'm the host of the on-purpose podcast.
Starting point is 00:28:06 And today I'm joined by one of the greatest athletes of all time, Novak Djokovic. The world's number one male tennis player. He's won 14 grand slams in a glittering career. Novak Djokovic! You've been through so many injuries, losses. Oh, I always heard himself. What has Novak Djokovic done? What goes through your mind when you lose?
Starting point is 00:28:28 I just want to be left alone. What has it taken to become Novak Djokovic? It's a consistent practice. It's prayer work, mindfulness, meditation, conscious breathing. It requires more responsibility from you on a daily basis to prepare yourself for the biggest battle. When you reach your 30, you start counting your days to your retirement. I'm 38 this year.
Starting point is 00:28:50 How far can I go? How long can I push my own limits? Listen to On Purpose with Jay Chetty on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The U.S. Open is here, and on my podcast, Good Game with Sarah Spain, I'm breaking down the players from rising stars to legends chasing history, the predictions, well, we see a first-time winner, and the pressure. Billy Jean King says pressure is a privilege, you know.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Plus, the stories and events off the court, and of course the honey deuses, the signature cocktail of the U.S. Open. The U.S. Open has gotten to be a very fancy, wonderfully experiential. sporting event. I mean, listen, the whole aim is to be accessible and inclusive for all tennis fans, whether you play tennis or not. Tennis is full of compelling stories of late. Have you heard about Icon Venus Williams' recent wild card bids? Or the young Canadian, Victoria Mboko, making a name for herself. How about Naomi Osaka getting back to form? To hear this and more, listen to Good Game with Sarah Spain, an IHeart women's sports production in partnership with
Starting point is 00:29:54 Deep Blue Sports and Entertainment on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get Podcasts, presented by Capital One, founding partner of IHeart Women's Sports. I've often loved the whole Mansion Men, you know, concept you guys got going on, and I enjoy that. So just to give you an idea, you know, when we did the first Bachelorette, which is, again, 22 years ago with Trista, all of us on that season, we were really, and still are good friends. Like, we became buddies. There was no animosity.
Starting point is 00:30:28 we were rooting for each other. We realized it wasn't that she, you know, that anything we were going to do was going to make her choose us over a guy that we just became friends with. And so we all decided we were going to be friends regardless. And I told a lot of the guys, I told Gary this, I told Keith this.
Starting point is 00:30:43 I loved seeing you guys have that same type of camaraderie and friendship. And it made me feel like, man, they got to, you know, people have got to see that that season, which was with, you know, with Trista, and that's 27 years ago, was a hugely successful season. and it resulted in a successful marriage and family.
Starting point is 00:31:01 And it's like, and then you guys come along and bring that same energy back to the television screen, and I think people missed it. And I think it really is something that resonates. You know, I mean, I see some of these people from the shows, and they, you know, went in there with a different type of attitude, and they don't get the same response that you guys get everywhere you all go, which I think is really awesome to say.
Starting point is 00:31:22 It really, I tell you what, it was amazing. It was just walking. down the street people because there's there were like 15 of us walking down the street looked like a old the over the hill gang came through again and uh and there we are walking down the street you know for people stopping us along the way which was really cool so yeah no it's it really is kind of a cool thing to see uh you know the attention that you're all getting and and truthfully the way these y'all are handling it which i think is really great i love that you're having a good time with this it's one of those things right it's it's it's a
Starting point is 00:31:57 like I used to always say to people, I go, hey, man, just because you're on a show like this, it doesn't mean you're Ben Affleck, right? You go on this show, and you're still the same person when you come off. So it's either going to magnify how nice of a person you are or it's going to take it the other direction. And I've loved seeing everyone, you know, with the kindness and everything. I just need you to know that I appreciate it. And I love your sense of humor.
Starting point is 00:32:18 I love the way you've handled this thing. Now, let me ask you this. So obviously, you know, Mel's going to be in the seat with the Golden Bachelor. and if there were to be an opportunity for someone from the Golden Bachelorette, or I'm sorry, from the Golden Bachelor previous season that we know, anybody that you could see stepping into that role and be in the next Golden Bachelorette? I think Nancy's very nice. You know, Christina's very nice.
Starting point is 00:32:41 They're all, you know, I can't pick one over the other, right, the second. No, I hear you. But, I mean, maybe, just maybe you really wouldn't want to be Christina, though, because, you know, I mean, maybe you guys are kind of hanging. now? You know, you're spending some time? We are some time. But she lives in California. I live in Chicago. There you go. There you go. I hear you. Well, listen, last thing I want to talk to you about, so Chicago obviously is a great restaurant town. And I know you're a retired cater and a retired chef. So I'm curious, when you roll through Vegas with your boys, with the mansion men,
Starting point is 00:33:15 what's a place you want to hit up? Because obviously, Vegas is, you know, first of all, I live in Detroit. A Detroit has become a top spot for a lot of of the top chefs in the country to want to open up spots, which, you know, back in the day, it wasn't the case, right? You'd have to go to Chicago to get a great restaurant. Now you can get it here in Detroit. But any place in Vegas when you guys were out there, are you kind of the guy that helps steer the ship? Okay, we're going to go to this restaurant. Trust me, I know some people at this spot. Like, are you still connected? Or if not, are you still someone who's really, you know, mindful of where you're going to be eaten and you know all the
Starting point is 00:33:46 hot spots? Well, I know Vegas very well. And the best restaurant, in my opinion, in Vegas is Joe's. Joe's seafood stone crab. It's inside Caesar's fabulous. Actually, my oldest brother designed it. And he was the architect, yes. And he does the Joe's and different things. But, yeah, we went to Joe's.
Starting point is 00:34:09 The food was phenomenal. I mean, it was really, really good. Yeah, you got to trust your palate, right? I mean, I would think, if it comes down to a restaurant selection, I'd be like, okay, you're a chef. where are we eating tonight? And I'd be so excited to go because I would just know you would have it dialed. Well, you know, it's so funny when you said retired because I was retired. And when I got back, they had a problem with my Italian club. They had a thousand-seat banquet hall. Well, it turns out that
Starting point is 00:34:40 I said I'd help them out for six months, you know, as far as good. So, nice. So tomorrow at a local restaurant, the white rhino, I'm doing a cooking demonstration for breakfast. about 50 people. I got a wedding on Friday in my banquet hall and a funeral luncheon on Saturday. It's like all of a sudden. Retired no more, buddy. You're back in the game. For a couple of months, that's it. You know what, though? Isn't that the beauty of it when you're, when you, when you have kind of step aside to a certain degree, if you want to dabble, you can dabble, but you don't have to, you know, stay in it for longer than you want to. So good for you. I make the rules now, which is kind of fun. That's right. You're keeping your children.
Starting point is 00:35:21 Chop's sharp, right, keeping that saw sharp. I think that's a great move. Yep, yep. I'm having a lot of fun with that, too. Well, Jack, man, I pretty much think you probably have a lot of fun with everything you do, man. But thank you so much for being a part of this with us. And thanks for sharing, you know, your story with us and being willing to open up about all the good times you've been having and continued success with everything you're doing.
Starting point is 00:35:43 I feel like, you know, I feel like love could be in the air for you again, Jack. I don't know. I'm just saying, you know, could be out there. I mean, you know, I'm always, you know, always looking. So. Amen. Take care now. You too, Jack.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Thank you so much for joining us. There you go, everybody. Jack Lincione here on Almost Famous the OGs. What a great guy and what a whole bunch of fun it was to have him on the call and get a chance to talk to and we get to know him a little bit better. So thank you all for tuning in. It's been another great episode of Almost Famous to OGs. We'll see you next time.
Starting point is 00:36:19 My boyfriend's professor is way too friendly, and now I'm seriously suspicious. Wait a minute, Sam. Hold up. Isn't that against school policy? That seems inappropriate.
