A one-night stand would end in a courtroom.
The media is here.
This case has gone viral.

This is the Ben and Ashley I, Almost Famous Podcast with IHart Radio.
Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Ava's podcast.
You got Ben and Ashley back here together today.
I just referred to myself in third person.
So we got a headline on our hands all.
How awkward are you?
I just got on the Zoom and Ben is like bleeding from his nose.
And it looks like from this point of view that like you're dribbling blood into your mouth.
But that's just because the cotton up your nose.
And yes, he already used tampons and like, well, he couldn't.
They wouldn't fit.
Yeah.
Oh gosh, Ben, your nose is broken.
I literally told Ben when I first saw him.
He has the cutest most perfect nose.
This is something that I've always admired about your face.
How cute and sloping your nose is.
And he literally just broke it outside right before getting on our podcast.
Ben, can you please explain to everybody what just happened and how you're going to the
ER after recording the podcast, even though totally unnecessary.
We told him he could go now.
No, I'm doing it for the fans.
Doing it for the fans.
Yeah, I can tell you the whole story.
I, we have massive winds in Denver right now.
They're up to 70 mile per hour.
And one of my neighbors called and they said,
hey, can you help us pick up some of the trash that's coming to our neighbor,
or into our yard?
Because the whole neighborhood kind of like funnels down into their yard.
And I was like, yeah, I'm home.
Why not?
So I grabbed the trash bag.
I went out there.
I was helping them out.
And then I looked up and the whole neighborhood is covered in people's like trash.
Like the whole place, trash cans are blown over.
People are at work.
So I was like, you know what?
I'm going to take the dog for a walk
and I'm going to take this trash bag with me
and I'm going to pick up the trash along the side of the road.
By the way, I won't mention some of the things I found,
but you don't want your neighbors going through your trash.
People are buying some real, they're having some fun at their house.
So job that now, Ben, you must.
Oh, I mean, I found boxes of intimate products.
Like beyond condoms?
Like loops?
Yeah.
Like self-pleasuring toys.
Oh, goodness.
Yeah.
Wow.
Two of them actually.
In a very similar spot.
So either one family is really diving deep or two different people in the neighborhood have just felt like the winter has gone on long enough.
And they need to.
Okay.
But this is not for my neighbors to hear and think I like to go through your trash.
Hey, I don't know whose it was.
I respect my neighbors, privacy, but just know I was trying to help.
And so I make my way around the neighborhood, and there is a trash can that's tipped over,
and some of the trash from the trash can has spilled out.
So I picked, oh, I picked the trash can up, and I start picking up the trash around the trash can.
And I'm like, you know what, I'll just throw it back into the trash can instead of putting it in the garbage bag that I have.
And as I stood up, the trash lid picked up by a gust of wind came and smacked me, right smack dab in the middle of face.
What kind of material was it?
It's a plastic can.
It's like the lid is attached.
Yeah, okay, a classic garbage can.
But it's big.
And so when it picks it up, it was going pretty hard.
Or at least it felt like it.
Yeah, so it got me.
I mean, you could see where it got me.
And it just smashed my nose in.
So after this, I want to go into the hospital, see what they can do, see, because I'm in a lot of pain.
And my eyes are getting...
I guess he's so swollen.
You want to hear the craziest part?
Yeah.
Tomorrow we're celebrating my mother-in-law's 60th birthday.
Oh.
And for her birthday, her one request is that all the kids chipped in for a family picture.
Well, that is funny.
So, yeah.
So they're going to say that's my son-in-law, who we are well-pleased.
She wanted every kid to have their own session.
For photos?
Or are they all getting together?
We're all getting together.
Oh, you're flying to Nashville tomorrow.
Yeah, we're going to...
That's going to feel really good, too, the pressure on your nose.
Oh, right?
I don't know if they're actually...
Once I go to the yard, I got to ask if they'll allow me, but...
So, hey, we're here with a broken nose on the almost famous podcast.
We're here with headlines today, breaking down everything happening in Bachelor Nation.
Let's start out with this.
Clayton Eckerd reveals how reconnecting with ex-Susie Evans led to paternity scandal.
This was juicy.
This is a juicy headline that he did not give us when he was on our podcast a week or two ago.
So what happened was that he was really into Susie again.
After the two of them had like gotten a drink or a coffee or something.
And he said all these emotions came rushing back and he didn't know how to handle it.
He was like, do we like try to give this another try?
I guess the hangout was like supposed to be just friends.
But then he left it feeling more.
he said he went home and he just was like smoking a lot of pot that week afterward.
He said to tame his emotions.
He wanted to suppress them.
And then one of the things that he did when he was super high was bring back this girl
who ended up creating this false paternity scandal with him.
And because he was in touch with Susie throughout at all,
like she kind of had firsthand knowledge about everything that was going on with it.
But at the same time, I guess he was like, so we're friends, but like maybe I like you.
But then also I'm going to tell you right now that I just slept with a girl.
Just ask my feelings for you?
It seems like he was in a very, he does admit that he was like in a very messy situation in his life.
And he was trying to like to numb it out.
So, so Susie, if it wasn't for you, I'm kidding.
He wouldn't have his own podcast.
I mean, I can relate with going through like seasons of like sadness over a love interest.
I get that.
And I understand that sometimes when you're in those seasons, you think the best way to solve it is to, you know, what's the saying they say?
Get under someone.
You have to get under someone to get over someone.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I agree.
I don't think it's true.
I don't think it's healthy.
No.
I understand.
though, to like a, what, in the Ashley language, I always just needed to find a new crush to get over the old crush.
You've always had a crush.
I mean, not, like, yeah, celebrity crush.
Yeah, I mean, that's who I'm talking about.
Those didn't satisfy?
Well, no, because those could also become delusional, but like a lot of them also were like close enough.
The, I am curious about Clayton's decision here.
It feels like he continues to go back.
Maybe he's like Rachel, right?
He tried.
Susie he tried.
I wonder how often he sits and thinks, wow, I've really messed out on some great women.
I mean, I think he probably does often.
I don't think he does that with Gabby, though.
You know, I don't think he thinks about Gabby like that.
Did he have a thing with Gabby?
Oh, yeah, they were in the scenes.
And then I remember he like, she made fun.
She said lots of mean things about him.
I forget.
I forgot that.
Yeah, okay.
Hey, next headline is semi-relatable to mine.
Kat Izzo gets a black eye.
Okay, we don't really know how she got a black eye.
She didn't.
Oh, okay.
She said, I took a fall of this injury,
but it was so worth it for these key moments.
So she fell while skiing.
And I think my takeaway from this is that she was seen skiing on the slopes with a man
that she kind of teased to us.
was a flame that was starting to burn pretty strong when she was on the podcast about a month ago.
Ooh, I love it.
He's still in the picture.
We love it.
She's her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend and she falls skiing, which so many of us do, that's such a cooler story than mine.
I got smacked in the face with a trash can and she falls skiing.

I'm Clayton Eckerd, and in 2022, I was the lead of ABC's The Bachelor.
Unfortunately, it didn't go according to plan.
He became the first Bachelor to ever have his final rose rejected.
The internet turned on him.
If I could press a button and rewind it all I would.
But what happened to Clayton after the show made even bigger headlines.
It began as a one-night stand and ended in a courtroom,
with Clayton at the center of a show.
a very strange paternity scandal.
The media is here. This case has gone viral.
The dating contract.
Agree to date me, but I'm also suing you.
Please search warrant.
This is unlike anything I've ever seen before.

Hey, Bachelor Nations, Jade Roper knows Sun Reed would have been a perfect brother to late son Beau.
Oh, he would be.
Reed is the sweetest, little friendliest, bubbliest boy.
He was so kind to Dawson.
You know, I mean, Hayden, obviously he's 19 months, though.
So, like, with Dawson, they made fast friends at our vacation in Mexico.
He, and he's a year and some months older than him.
And it was very sweet.
but Jay just wanted to share a little read appreciation moment.
The other day they went for a walk and then they stopped at a park.
And a few older kids, she thinks that they're like in their teens with disabilities and special needs were playing there with their caregivers.
And then Reed was very sweet and befriended one boy and gave him one of his hot wheels.
And for about 30 minutes, they race cars down the slide.
And she just was thinking about how good of a big brother he would have been to the baby that they,
They lost midway through her pregnancy, Bo.
She said that Reed is just so patient and thoughtful and friendly and chatty that he is.
And that she just would have thought that he would have made for a great big brother.
I'm so proud of him.
Very, very sweet.
Very sweet.
Speaking of something very sweet, Susie Evans' sister gives birth to her first baby while at the same time battling breast cancer.
So sad.
her sister has stage two breast cancer and she even been undergoing some chemo treatments,
light chemo treatments during the pregnancy.
I really don't know how that works.
I know that's a thing, but like how is that a thing?
Do you have any idea?
No.
I mean, I guess I'm going to have to ask my dad about that one.
So she just, she did do a really cute Instagram real where it was like her.
running to the airport and she gives her sister no attention and she just runs over to the baby.
My sister, it was exactly like that.
But she said that she's done three rounds of slightly less aggressive chemo before taking a three week break,
getting induced at 29 weeks.
And now she's about to get that going again.
She has to do nine rounds.
And then they're going to talk mastectomy.
They're not sure yet.
And then see where to go from there.
and she said that all this has changed a million trillion times the thing that sucks right now is that I feel like this is the hardest for me and I just really want to get the mastectomy done and I really just want to get this removed and then she also said that like she feels okay but like obviously she feels you know she felt pregnant and then she also has been going to the oncologist three times a week and so there's been a lot of doctors appointments lots of symptoms and she just says
it's like so hard to watch your body fail when you've always been so healthy.
So we are definitely thinking about all involved there and when she gets through this as quickly
as possible.
Quick correction.
She was induced at 39 weeks.
Oh, what did I say?
Oh, whoopsie daisy.
That's a big huge difference.
Big huge difference.
Thanks.
Well, we got you.
Final headline is this.
Tamron Hall and Jesse Palmer are going to host the Oscars red carpet on ABC.
Who used to do the red carpet for ABC
For the Oscars?
When the Oscars were like a thing
Isn't it weird how the Oscars are just not a thing anymore?
Yeah, I mean, they've died
Absolutely died
Like to the point where I don't even know
If ABC will be doing it a few years from now
It's because like none of the movies nominated
Are ever movies that we really see
And then like a lot of the actors and actresses
Like of course like you don't have to be a list
You shouldn't have to be a list
To receive these awards
but it used to be like we knew all the movie stars
and we had seen all the movies throughout the year
and now it's just like indie movies
with actors that we don't necessarily know
we go through every year
you do it you watch all the movies
well we mark them we try to watch most of them
I'll be honest most of them like I don't
follow yeah you don't like enjoy
because like they're too dark
and they're just like
these are depressing movies
I do want
like when Top Gun came out
and that was nominated
and everybody loved that movie
and it made you feel pride
that was the kind of movie
that I felt like
they kind of needed to give the Oscar to
for Best Picture
just to be like look at America
the movie we all loved
got the award of being the most
like the best
even though
like it maybe wasn't its art it wasn't argy fartsy i'm i'm with you i i used to love it
it used to be something i'd have on my calendar sit down and watch it i haven't watched it in a long
time but doesn't take away from the fact that jesse palmer still finds a way to be
fill his schedule up and it is with incredible efficiency that he does it he is everywhere
ABC espn hulu they love him and i mean he is a wonderful dude and uh the the big thing for us is
that the Taylor Frankie Paul
and the Bachelorette special
which is apparently only 20 minutes
of, it's like a 30 minute special
and for us, you know,
like without commercial it would be 20 minutes.
That will be airing after the Oscars.
It's a huge time slot.
Even though obviously we just said
that the Oscars aren't what they used to be,
it's still a huge time slot to go after the Oscars
because you get all the rollover effect.
It's kind of like how one of the most watched
episodes of any TV is usually
right after the Super Bowl.
I used to host a show on NBC that ran right after Saturday Night Live.
You guys did it too.
Yes, first look.
And it would be right after Saturday Night Live and everybody would fall asleep watching Saturday
and Live and First Look would get all the viewers with TV.
It's still got like a million viewers a week.
I mean, most of them are probably asleep.
But I love working on First Look.
You love working on First Look.
So does Jared.
Yeah.
That's great.
That's all the headlines we have for you today.
I think we'll close with this.
Ashley, Age of Attraction has come out on.
Netflix, hosted by Nick and Natalie.
We mentioned it a few weeks ago.
Have you watched it yet?
I think it dropped last night.
Okay.
And if I'm correct, I think it drops the couple.
Let me just pull up Netflix really quick.
You know what?
One of my closest friends in the world, his sister, is on this season of the age of attraction.
Yeah.
Unfortunately, she wasn't shown very much.
Wait, did you watch any yet?
No, I haven't.
And without, I mean, I'm curious about the idea.
I want to hear, I kind of want others to watch it and tell me if I should or not.
But yeah, Ashley Wattring.
Dude, there's a lot out.
So five episodes dropped today.
They're all an hour long.
So that's a lot of viewing.
It does seem interesting, though.
So basically the premise is like all these people.
are like they get together.
It's a dating show.
And then you don't find out anybody's age.
There's a huge range of ages.
And I'm sure everybody looks fabulous.
But you don't find out the person's age until a certain point, like once you basically are in love with them.
That's, I mean, that's, that's wild.
I like the idea.
The concept sounds interesting.
And like, it sounds intriguing.
Yeah.
Could you imagine, like, Nick and Natalie, if they were just in the dating pool and they
didn't know each other's ages, honestly, nobody would ever think that they would.
were what they were. And obviously they're the host for a reason. Because I think I don't want to put
hard numbers on it. I think Natalie may have been like 21 or 22 when they first met. And then
Nick was upper 30s. But like Nick would have you would have thought could have been like early 30s.
Natalie, not that she looks older than her age, but like there's a maturity factor about her,
especially back when she was in her early 20s. She feels like she could have been upper 30s. She feels like she could have been
upper 20s and that they wouldn't have had an age difference.
I was just looking at the feedback from the season, and it seems like people are into it.
That's good.
All right.
Well, hopefully I will watch a few episodes until between our next podcast, and I'll let you know.
Fill me in, Ashley.
Ashley, as always, thank you for helping us break down the headlines.
Congratulations to Susie Evans' sister on the birth of her first baby in the midst.
of a battle with breast cancer.
Our thoughts are with you.
And also, if you're going to be watching the Oscars,
stay tuned for Jesse Palmer,
the face of Bachelor Nation,
hosting the red carpet.
But until next time, I've been Ben.
I've been Ashley.
Love you and see you.
Bye.
Bye-bye.
